Since I got Tumblr and have free range to rant however I want, its time for the Assassin's Creed main characters and how they walk post!!!

With each of the games, they change the main characters walking animation to fit their vibe and I need to be able to study them beheehe

Desmond

I don't have too much to say about Desmond's other than his is simple and similar to Ezio's and Altaïr's and I like to think that this is due to the bleeding effect(it happened to me too I walk like the assassin's all the time) his is a little more confined and he keeps his arms closer to himself so he's very typical in the way he walks

Altaïr

In his walk he has a sway to his hips and steady hands(probably to keep himself ready for any assassination), but goddamn the SWAY I never noticed it.

His shoulders also sway with his walk and I love how fluid he is in general, this ties back to his robes for me and how flowy they are to show the grace of an assassin in high profile but when low profile they stay to his sides and he's all in the shadows and I REALLY love that about him.

Ezio

This gif is all I could find so i can't really remember if Ezio's walk is different in Ac2 from Altaïr's because ubisoft is the king of recycling things but whatever. He still has the outward stance but I do notice his head is pointed low to try and keep himself hidden(shadows shit be like) but ofc hes holding the apple here so it's hard to tell if he's trying to swing his arm a lot lol, anyway body language is important to Ezio so hes very good at looking broody as well as fluid in his movements

I'd like to note with this gif, it doesn't show his slow slow walk and I remember it pretty well, he has a slight cautious aura in his walk, he's really careful in his foot placement(I think) and he's super awesome and I love him a lot. Since we have him running I'd like to talk about that too. He has such an efficient sprint it's so mesmerizing, he keeps his head low and just fuckin vrooms across the colonies<3

You can barely see her here bc the damn community doesn't care for Aveline much but I like her even tho I haven't played Liberation, I enjoy the way she walks in a proper manner and she's got that strut the runway strut is everything. I also like how she has a wider swing in her arms, more carefree and comfortable.

Anyway, I really love the difference in Edwards walk compared to the rest of the assassins because he's a pirate, he hasn't had the teaching of grace and secrecy. Therefore his walk is staggering in his footwork but still proper bc he's a sword fighter and very good at it. In a longer gif you'd be able to tell but his footing is a little messy, showing that drunken sailor pirate personality shows in his walk. He has a close arm swing due to him always needing to be close to his weapons, ready for a fight(like his grandson<3)

Haytham

I can barely see how he's walking but I'm pretty sure he had his hand on his sword hilt which says so much abt his character, again always being ready for a fight. He has a very straight posture due to his pompous nature, quick in his form to be efficient because why walk if you don't look proper and efficient?

Shay

Ok he's a Templar and so is Haytham but fuck you I love them.

His walk is so GOOD his walk has a heavy step and he's very prominent, got that straight posture again, not much to say about his arm sway other than the added shoulder sway, love that for him bc he's just so intimidating.

(For reasons I'm not doing Arno, Evie, Jacob, Kassandra, and Eivor since I haven't played their games)

Bayek

Bayek's walk is very different from every other assassin and that makes me love him so much more. He feels very carefree and relaxed but when in combat good lord does he go off!! He puts more sway in his arms than his hips and that's probably why he has a combat centered walk, like Edward.

news for next year and my new years resolutions! (THAT IM GOING TO BRUTE FORCE MYSELF TO MAKE HAPPEN! I NEED TO PULL MYSELF TOGETHER YOU HAVE NO IDEA)

to start making more complex scene builds in sfm. things like making pockets bedroom, or more forest scene builds like i did in my "the game" comic since it was really fun to put in little details and make it look full and lived in/untouched.

now that i know i have a software that i KNOW i can use to make decent quality animations and have somewhere to post them, im planning to do more animatics and AM GOING TO teach myself to animate. things i WILL BE MAKING are demo reels for my film and characters, an "im gonna win" animatic segment for pocket, "pockets big date!" visual novel comic on my youtube, more shitposts using sfm, things like that.

IM GOING TO GET ONTO THE FANFIC. im going to do it i promise, its just harder to do when you lose motivation and move onto other projects. if it took valve 7 years to make the last instalment of the tf2 comics, then its ok for me to take a few years on the first chapter.

im thinking about setting up a kofi or SOMETHING to earn money on for here. im thinking about charging money for animated commissions only. eg: £5 for a short animation, £10 for a one minuet clip, and £15 for a 3 minuet+ clip. im thinking its a good start and fairly priced for the amount of effort i put into it. still thinking about it though. these can be things like silly little memes or eeeven some spicer content eheheh (gotta reveal to my foster mama that i have a tumblr first. also when you inevitably read this, hiiii i love you! sorry for keeping this a secret for so long i was really scared that you'd be mad :( )

I'm not here to harass you or yell at you and i am not expecting a response, but i gotta say i understand, when you age up characters it makes the power dynamic seem balanced and ok, i understand these are characters you love a lot and fanart and fancontent is probably a big source of comfort

But encouraging such an unhealthy power dynamics especially as someone with a larger audience you gotta understand is not ok It's not about the characters and it's not about how you view it, it's about us as people needing to show that these unhealthy dynamics are not ok

if you found out your minor little brother was dating an adult you would be worried about him, if you found out your little brother who is now of age was dating an adult who was very close to him when he was a minor you would be worried about him

I'm not upset because it's mob psycho or if it was any other characters i'm upset because you're portraying something borderline pedophilic as ok

The main purpose of my art isn't to be educational about healthy relationships and it's not focused on portraying "the right thing" all the time.

I assume enough emotional intelligence in my audience to recognise that the ships that I in fact label as problematic already - are flawed and are not healthy to happen in real life.

I want to explore nuanced or taboo things in my art but I'm also a sucker for lovey-dovey feel-good stories and it's not your business to convince me to draw ships more how you want them just so kids on tumblr can have a good example of what abuse looks like.

I am not encouraging anyone to pursue relationships like these! Real life is much more complex than what a scribble on tumblr can reflect on anyway. The content I make of these ships is purely fictional and isn't safe to enact in the real world.

I don't appreciate you trying to bring my relatives into this argument, you're being insensitive bringing them up at all. Of course I don't want anyone, not just my family, to stay in an unhealthy relationship. I think most sane people on earth would be against that, no? Do you just assume I'm okay with horrible things happening to people around me because I like to draw unhealthy and toxic ships?

I didn't "adapt" proship beliefs recently. Not harassing people for their fictional ships and stories has always been very easy for me, even if their content makes me uncomfortable. I prefer to block things I don't want to see over acting entitled about what someone draws or writes.

I already state on my page that my blog has sensitive and mature topics and viewer discretion is advised. I could always draw the "worse" aspects of the relationship or more "abusive" side of the ship so you won't have to reach far below the surface to find the problematic side of it, but I get the feeling you don't want me to do that - you just want me to stop drawing a pairing you find icky. I can add an additional disclaimer in my profile if this all wasn't enough for you but I won't stop drawing them holding hands and blushing until I get bored of it.

i've been ok, mostly putting in work on my masters degree, although some of the 'work' included having a massive breakdown from months of burnout, and i'm currently in the middle of trying to get an extension and rework a large part of my project. mostly this is due to the subject matter of my work having had a lot of loaded cultural and personal themes, which, when being forced to think about nonstop for two years, while also moving in with the family member who is the source of a large part of all the trauma of it, was just too much. taking a stance to axe the project in its current form was hard and made me feel like a quitter but now i feel relief and realize it was an act of self love as well

so i'm trying to recover from that and see a way forward to a project i would like doing, but it's hard when your circumstances have left you this depressed. i'm also trying to become more mindful of the way i use social media because when i'm anxious i fall very easily into the numbness sink of scrolling social media just to avoid thinking... i've stared a daily list of Ten Things That Happened That Day That Didn't Happen On The Internet, although i never get to ten, and i dont think even pre-internet leon would have gotten to ten, but it's good to aim high and take notice even of the little things. maybe to some people this comes naturally but i have to be very deliberate about it. i think this article sums up how im starting to feel about the internet rn

i've cut most personal spending down as much as possible to save up to my top surgery, so i have to find fun things to do that don't cost money. i'm trying to sew because my partner knows a lot about it and can teach me (i'm currently trying to engineer the perfect underwear, weird hobby but it's actually an amazing dysphoria-buster because most store bought underwear that fits my ass is so feminine, to be able to make a piece of something so intimate be so personal is, omg, an act, of, omg, self love). i've also sold off some things to help save for my top surgery and doctor visits, i'm trying to not get rid of anything i will really miss but it's also an enjoyable feeling to imagine the item disappearing as it becoming a permanent part of my history and of my sexy flat boy body (~o_o)~

if i end up having some free time outside of my masters degree, my current dream project is making pixel assets. i think with all the cases of my art getting stolen and used without permission it would actually be really cool to put something together specifically for public use. i miss kaoani and flower banners and stuff. i dont know if i can ever make something so saccharinely cute and tidy but if anything it's a nice space to visit

If there is a chance to choose his partner for a mission, he will choose you if not anthing specificly needed. He likes your presence near him. It calms him down.

But if you get hurt, he will blame himself. He says he is sorry and its his fault that you got shot with his more fatal wounds while Sage heals both of you. You look him up and down with a brow raised as if you are judging him how he manages to think about you while he is in this situation.

Will make dad jokes just to piss you off.

Normaly he does not laughs at his jokes. Mostly at your reaction. But one time you did a dad joke to him during a mission and he let out a snort. The enemy bullet nearly hit his forehead.

Sage scold you both. Definitely.

Phoenix and Jett insisted to hear the joke and when you told them, even Sage let out a little giggle.

Will make your drink of choice when he goes to the kitchen to get his. Just a form of care.

He will let you make masks on his face if you insist. Even wearing a bunny bandana to keep his hair away. He does get pulled into the "girls night" in the HQ sometimes so he is used to that. (Sova, Omen and Phoenix are one of the girls. Well, i will definately wrote this to an HQ headcannons post.)

If he sees you talking with Chyper, he will get jelaous. Not like he will grab you by your arm and pull you away from him. Its more like he will side eye you both while you two have a conversation.

If Chyper gets tilted by him, after the coversation he will talk to Sova. "You know their 'secrets' right?" "I know them more than you could ever." (Insert the grumpy cat sova picture.)

He will chase you everywhere in the HQ if you steal his cape. This man runs like Usain Bolt with those legs and height of his but he will match your speed for afew minutes just to have fun. Then it is over like a jumpscare.

You can cling onto him like a sloth. He wont even budge. Looking down at you with a confused face as if "wtf are u doin?"

He is bad at video games so if you want to play with him, you'll need to teach him first. He tries his best but he still loses. Its like he does that on purpose at this point. He much prefers to cheer for you when you and Gekko have a tournament between.

He is willing to share his babushkas food with you. You are that important to him. And he will be proud if his babushka and you have a good realitionship. Even if its just from the screen.

He is the sweetest man alive. Biggest support for you and a relaible friend at most. We love him 🥰

anyway heres a couple

i think hes a good cook. i like the thought of him teaching ceroba how to cook, too (she almost set the kitchen on fire, they yelled about it in fear, had a couple drinks, then almost set the kitchen on fire again and yelled abt it). he also is the one cooking for the rest of the feisty five more often than not (they others are mostly ok at cooking tho. ed's really good, but struggles sometimes bc his hands are too big to be able to properly use certain utensils and appliances. moray is also a pretty good cook and help ed out a lot. they make a great team. ace is alright, can definitely follow a recipe, and is really good abt finding ones the rest really like. mooch.. mooch wouldnt go hungry if she lived alone. but shes generally not allowed to cook. has a no-bake dessert everyone loves though, she makes it on holidays and special occasions and to bribe the others)

this isnt my hc but i dont remember who i first heard it from but i loooove the hc that star glows when hes flustered. i think when he first started crushing on ceroba and theyd have sleepovers, hed just start glowing at times and shed throw pillows at his face telling him to stop bc she couldnt sleep

on that note, consider the bunk bed in his room. him and orion definitely shared. and orion definitely dreaded ceroba sleeping over bc her and star would share a bed and stay up late joking around and playing and talking and whatnot and hed often have to get up and just leave to go sleep on the couch or with their parents. they got into arguments about this.

he runs warm. dont hold his hand unless you wanna get sweaty.

in the case of clover lives/dadlo, hes the last one to know that clover thinks of him as a father figure. everyone else knows, either through observation or clover accidentally calling him dad in front of them or them just admitting they think of him as their dad. star probably learns of this via ceroba or dina or one of the five or someone telling him "you know clover thinks of you as a father figure, right?" and he bluescreens about it

im not like. the biggest corn yaoi shipper ever, but i think its cute (and the name makes me laugh), and i think dalv confesses first. theyre in some fancy restaurant or something and star asks "so, what'd you call me here for?" and to that dalv responds by just blurting out that he thinks hes in love with him. and star immediately chokes on his food bad enough he needs medical attention.

so ceroba mentions in-game that living w the feisty five is a bit of a nightmare bc of the sleeping and the fact that everyone has some kinda problem that specifically makes it hard for her to fall asleep. i think star is actually pretty normal in terms of sleep. might snore lightly if hes in an uncomortable position, but overall just quiet. the rest of the five dont fare so well. ed's got it best, he just snores. loudly, but everyone other than ceroba is just kinda fine w it. moray grinds their teeth and needs to be restrained or theyll end up halfway across the room from where they fell asleep. or farther. ace sleepwalks and talks. ceroba once woke up to him eating the berries off the plant on the dresser by her bed. still asleep. mooch also grinds her teeth and "sleep steals", aka waits for everyone else to fall asleep so she can go through their stuff. star, despite being able to sleep through everything else, somehow has a 6th sense for her or something, because he very consistently wakes up to catch her red-handed and chew her out

alright so i’ve had this little au for lmk in my head for a while and i’m just setting it out here in a really long rambly nonsensical explanation, but i think it’s fun so to tumblr it goes!

is gonna be a bit long.

Ok so it goes like:

Random stone monkey child just materializes out of nowhere one day (MK), and some random guy in heaven sees that and goes “remember what happened last time guys?” and they just decide no this guy has got to go.

 But it's a mystic monkie and they remember the last time they tried to deal with one of those so they tell the only other mystic monkey guy they can think of to do it with this fancy “he’s totally gonna grow up and bring unimaginable chaos you gotta get rid of him” prophesy (which was not true at all) and he just. Has a crisis over it because it was accompanied by some edgy god threat probably but its a baby. So yeah morals and such.

So he just seals away the kid’s magic monkie powers and makes them look like a human, and just tells god that the kid is gone.

And then of course word gets out about that so people think he actually did it.

And meanwhile he’s just teaching some toddler how to exist and it's adorable and fluffy.

And then Macaque shows up all like “alright i was already mad at you and then i heard you killed a baby because heaven told you to what the actual heck Wukong”

and then the aforementioned baby just peeks his head out from behind Wukong’s legs and it's just.

“Ok i know you’re mad but can you please at least wait to fight me until the kid won’t die on his own? Please?”

“Fine okay geez but also what’s their name?”

“...”

“Wukong”

“...”

“Wukong did you not name this child?”

“...

Well-”

“WUKONG THAT IS A TODDLER YOU'VE HAD THEM FOR OVER A YEAR.”

HOW HAVE YOU NOT NAMED THEM YET?!”

“I couldn’t think of anything okay!’

“Just keysmash until you find some good syllables then!”

Leading to the boy child having a very long and nonsensical name but just using their initials of MK.

And of course MK gets out and makes friends and lives life mostly as in canon, he just lived on flower fruit mountain and has to hitch a ride from his “older brother” to and fro. Because heaven would be very very upset if they found out he existed and Wukong is not leaving him somewhere random alone.

He's still a noodle delivery boy for Pigsy and best buddies with Mei.

But then DBK just randomly starts rampaging and he sees they have Wukong’s staff and panics and runs in and steals it before DBK can absorb it. And then panics bc he can hold it but also Wukong told him not to screw with magic (bc the glamour or the power seal might fritz out but MK doesn’t know that bc you can't just tell a child the gods ordered a hit on them now can you.)

Then Pigsy finds him in the street and everyone goes to bring the staff to monkey king not knowing that MK already knows him.

When PIF attacks in the flaming mountains Pigsy and Mei also get yeeted and end up on ffm with MK somehow and he has to do some actingtm [they can tell something is up but just chalk it up to nerves] but they cant get through the waterfall barrier and MK goes in alone and just panic ramble word vomits to Wukong like

And they just like

We have never met before today got it? Total strangers. No hugs, no inside jokes, no making fun of eachother. Polite strangers' courtesy only.

And then they go back and chat with the others for a minute or so and then go back to the city and Wukong kicks DBK’s butt but right when he's about to win PIF wind tornado teleports them all away. Wukong giving a very rushed polite goodbye and then leaving the others to do their mortal stuff cue end credits.

And then MK starts getting actual stone monkey powers and just accidentally punches a hole in a door being kinda tired at Pigsy’s and missing the doorknob. And then getting struck by lightning and being totally fine. Then his friends know something magic is going on and Wukong knows that “oh crud the power seal is wearing off early bc he was in contact with the staff oh no.” 

And then it's just a nice plot song and dance of MK being so confused bc he doesn’t have superpowers he's a human why would the staff give him powers and his friends being really worried and pestering Wukong about it bc why is he getting your superpowers mister what happened here. And Wukong just screaming internally because he’s trying to figure out how to break the news to MK about the gods ordering a hit on him as an infant and the him not being a human thing. It turns out fine ish in the end tho nobody hates each other for it after they have some hurt comfort and then some healthy communication and reconciling later. And then they move on to the issue of avoiding the gods being a bit upset. And macaque has been periodically checking with the  

“is he grown yet?”

“No.”

“How much longer until killing you doesn’t basically orphan someone?”

“A while.”

“Are we there yet?”

“We get there when we get there, macaque!”

so yeah. i like this au just because i can fit so many funny bits in it i haven’t listed here. hope it’s not terrible!

your writing is so good 😭 teach me your secrets big sister

i literally let this sit in my inbox for a week because it made me so happy!! thank you!! (*screams* im a good enough writer to be asked for writing advice) (also being called big sister makes me insanely happy in general so)

anyways other than the classic write as much as can and you need to be ok with it sucking.

my #1 thing is (and this applies to everyone): even if you having a learning disability that effects your ability to write words and spell it doesn't mean you can't be a good writer. it effects your spelling and punctuation not the knowledge of how to tie words together to write an deeply emotional story

learn how to write in third person i realize that first person can be easier when you begin. but only writing in first person isn't going to give you the tools to improve. i realize the switch can be a bit daunting to some but its an important step. first person isn't bad, its just there's certain things you can't do in first person that you can do in third in vice versa. (also when it comes to fanfic people will click away more often if the fic is in first person)

if you are not having fun writing something, stop. you won't get inspiration by forcing it. either switch to another project, or ramble to a friend about why you're stuck and inspiration might hit you or maybe it won't thats ok too.

learn how to brainstorm with other people well. brainstorming is more than just listening to someone's ideas, it's asking specific questions, and giving suggestions, getting excited not just hear about their story but to participate in the idea processes. if you're able to ask someone questions about thwir story and engage them they're be more likely to do the same to you.

my trick for writing big emotions is using nature (or natural disaster) analogies, or using the character ability to show the loss of control over their emotions. for example in White Noise, i used the storm outside to represent Juline's emotions building up on the outside, while also giving her more normal physical reaction.

honestly the abilities are a good tool to use to show emotion, if a character is experiencing a strong emotion have them lose a little control over their ability to show how strong their emotions are, this is especially effective when you normally have them keeping good control over their abilities.

if you have never written anything before, its gonna be crap at first its apart of learning anything, when you finally push past that phase and you can start to focus more on style and less on the fundamental parts of the story like of pacing or dialogue or description. thats how you know you're getting somewhere

ask. for. help. when i struggle with a scene or with pacing a ask a fellow writer friend for advice or suggestions, when i was just getting back into writing i struggled to write a kiss scene and asked like four different people for help. its ok to ask for help and its a good way to improve. i for one would love to get questions about writing and im sure other fic writers would too

you can actually control readers heart rates using this tip, that i saw on tumblr last year, i had already been using this trick as pacing tool and as a stylistic choice, but after i read that post i did it much intentionally

Kind of expanded upon this a bit, oops

For the world-building, I'm inspired by things such as Fallout New Vegas, Night Vale, and real life. Music: tends to be a mixture of classic rock + alt + vapor wave + whatever I think is nice tossed in a dryer and pummeled to death.

For more world-building + story-telling/pacing, I am very much Inspired by these webtoons:

When I tell you to go check these webtoons out, I mean Go Check Them Out because they're the reason I still have the app!

For characters, they are named/inspired by objects and it just kind of stuck until their names got rearranged. Everyone generally has a symbol/color assigned to them, idk it's probably synesthesia to some degree. But it helps me categorize things + it fits their vibes. To name a few:

>> Elijah: star, yellow

>> Darcy: moon, cobalt

>> Melony: Venus flytrap, bright green

I could rant all day about their vibes and mood boards! But we only have so much attention span on this single post, yeah?

(3) What is your MC trying to achieve, and what are you, the writer, trying to achieve with them? Do you want to inspire others, teach forgiveness, help readers grow as a person?

Blair wants to prove to himself and others that he has worth and a purpose even though others/the government thinks otherwise.

Elijah wishes he could stop running from his problems and just ask for help, but that's kinda hard if [SPOILERS]. Yeah, so that's kind of a Huge bummer.

No one cares what Darcy wants. He's mean. (Any fanletters addressed to him that wind up in Frasier's pile get promptly thrown away.)

Aside from that, I've always wanted to inspire others through my work but kind of implicitly. Or like “oh have you seen that one story it's so wild” in an obscure way. Not really in a cult-following way, but like an urban legend or classic story kind of way. I would like to drop my story into the world and disappear without a trace, hehehe

It all comes down to if I will ever be able to code as great as Elijah someday (we both hold ourselves to very high Standards, you know).

I started writing this story July 27, 2022. Oh wait, that date has passed, it's now been a year!

But it's ok, I often forget my own birthday.

I started writing because I became fixated on the idea of just some chill guy in a hectic world then ran with it, and here I am a year later, still as obsessed with these hooligans as ever. I like the seemingly dumbass hero and intelligent villain trope, I suppose.

(7) Do you have any words of engagement for fellow writers of Writeblr? What other writers of Tumblr do you follow?

I tend to follow accounts that inspire me to write or become a better person in general. This can range from being a better writer to positivity to pushing myself to get up and be productive because lord knows I need some good ol peer pressure to jumpstart my brain.

Remember why you're writing. Keep your reasons somewhere you can see it, like a sticky note on your mirror. It can be a motivation/goal as simple as “because it's what Younger Me would have wanted to see.”

BEAR WITH ME AND MY RANT ABT THE NEW FITO PAEZ BIOPIC TV SHOW ON NETFLIX

OK......

So, basically Netflix released a biopic tv show about the life of Argentinian rock star Fito Paez and I'm literally so excited to watch it for a number of reasons, but the second I found out that this was a thing I got the urge to go on tumblr and just explode so here goes.

The show is called "El Amor despues del Amor", named after Paez's sensational hit song linked below:

Anyways the gringos butchered it and dubbed the show in English to be called Love After Music which makes no fucking sense because the song literally translates to Love after Love not Love after Music and it is just sooo stupid, but anyway what can I do abt that.

This show excites me so much, first of all, because I think Fito Paez 10000000% deserves this kind of recognition, because he really is one of the most iconic latinamerican artists of his generation, and his music challenged the assumption that good pop and rock music could only be made and produced in English.

I guess mostly the reason this show excites me is because it is a show about a latinamerican rock artist, which you just don't get that often and I have been dying to see one. (Also, Argentinian alternative rock is definitely one of my hyper-specific fandoms and new content being produced for it is really exciting).

My mission in life, amongst other things, is to give the South and Central American rock scene the recognition it deserves, because often times people act like it doesn't exist, and new wave/ 80s pop/rock only came out of the US or England. Latinamerican rock serves an extremely important purpose in society, as it was quite literally revolutionary. (I'm bullshitting and tired, so ignore the uneccessary sentences, but my point is valid). Rock in Argentina was used to fight back against A LITERAL MILITARY DICTATORSHIP. And the fact that all the rock music biopics are still England and US centric is really annoying.

I'm not saying I don't enjoy shows or movies about music produced in the US or England, but there are so many amazing stories to tell from the perspective and about the lives of Hispanic musicians. Why are they constantly overlooked?

AND NOT JUST ABOUT MUSIC

Where are the movies about Argentinian Military Dictatorship? (IK they exist guys im just saying we should talk more about the fact that it happened). Actually for anyone interested pls watch the movie "Argentina, 1985", it is great!

Where are the movies about indigenous communities being wiped from existence in virtually every South American country?

Or, as a Colombian, can we get a show about terrorism or the drug trade in Colombia that isn't made from the bullshit NARCOS perspective of white guy policemen saviors, when we all know that all American cops did in Colombia was militarize our police forces and teach them how to abuse the public.

They are a gift from God to humanity, they are pioneers of progressive rock, I don't know anyone like them. And I'm always saying this but if Seru Giran were British or American they would be just as highly regarded as the Beatles or the Rolling Stones or Pink Floyd because they are just too good.

I am extremely happy about the fact that latino stories are being told in media like this because its something that i feel as a fan of rock music and a latina i have been missing from my life. And you may think why do we need movies abt dictatorship or drug deals or terrorism. Doesn't that just perpetuate the stereotype that that's all your country has. NO ON THE CONTRARY. When it's told by big American corporations, it often loses meaning. Shows written by latinos about latinamerican experiences showcase the reason I am so proud to be latina. Because we are a resilient people. Our humanity shines through even in the darkest of times. In the midst of wars and dictatorship, we can come up with shit like this and it is so cool. And I wish there was more recognition for that.

So yeah maybe this isn't a rant abt Fito Paez, even though I love him so much. And I'm more than sure this show is about his life and not about Argentinian military dictatorship.

But I guess mostly I hope this will encourage more latino filmmakers to tell our stories. Tell our stories because they are so cool, and I love watching movies abt rockstars. But I would love it so much more to watch movies about rockstars who look like me.

So I'll get back to this after I watch the show. Chau :)

For those who don't have context, i am trans, I am duosex, I went to a therapy place for free, and saw a therapist. He immediately started going through the criteria for dysphoria because I asked but we ran out of time. So I'm getting my diagnosis finished over the phone. It took me two appointments and $0 to get a gender dysphoria diagnosis. So stop acting like this is difficult or hurting anyone.

It's not hypocrisy to provide a safe space for a group and exclude people. You would provide a safe space for enben that has binary people in it? Because they aren't enby. Thus they don't need that space, and could fuck it up.

You're the hypocrite calling me names and crying and screaming at me calling me crazy. Seriously get some help. Therapy is an option. If you don't feel safe in your current mental state you could always check in at an ER and tell them you need help. You could also look around. Many places provide therapy for free. ..so since this ask’s answer got deleted by tumblr while I was typing it, I’ll try this again……

So just so you know, Yuta’s currently only in one film, which is the most current one, and it’s on Netflix, but if you try to watch it on its own you’re gonna be REALLY confused cuz you have to watch at least all of the Oya High arc to understand the new gen. Most of the movies are available on Netflix, but the tv shows you’ll have to go digging for and prob use VPNs (but you didn’t hear it from me). I highly recommend the 1st generation arcs because Cobrs is my fav, and anything with Sannoh is the best plot high key~~

So basically, Yuna is Tsukasa’s sister, but she got involved with SWORD wayyyyy before him because she ran away as a kid and Cobra took her in cuz he’s got a soft spot for good kids like her who were just raised in bad circumstances. He treats her like his little sister, teaches her how to defend herself, teaches her how to protect the community, teaches her what it takes to be a leader, etc. However, during the casino arc when shit hits and fan and it gets really dangerous, he’s the only one with common sense so he decides to send her back home so she’ll be safe- But she doesn’t understand his good intentions and takes the whole thing personally, so to spite him, she ends up at Oya High, hoping to prove herself. But ofc the Oya boys are like “lol a girl wants to join” but they also can’t do anything about it cuz she’s Cobra’s kid, and if they fuck with her, Sannoh’s gonna burn Oya down….. so they play nice. As she gets older, she proves herself and makes a name for herself, no longer being identified as Cobra’s kid, but the Princess of Oya— A name that was originated by enemy groups to be annoying, but she spun it into a positive for herself. She’s really one of the only people allowed to enter any and all territories in SWORD�� long story short, it’s cuz she did a lot for the community when she was still with Cobra, and now she does a lot to protect the idiot boys who are always trying to start stupid wars with each other, so they have a fuck ton of respect for her.

When she meets Ryo, it’s totally by accident, and they become…….. acquaintances….. not friends per say- not until a couple of months later when he kisses her then they go back to his parents’ apartment for the night. They have to keep their relationship a secret because Amagai has beef with Oya and would probably strangle Suzaki if he found out they were dating. And on the flip side, there’s no way in hellll Oya would let Yuna date someone from Senomon! So very Romeo and Juliet high key. They keep their relationship is a secret for a longgggg time until the High and Low the Worst X plot, which I can talk about in more detail if I still have your guys’ interest hahaha
