He has a BUNCH of great character designs, including ocs and other medias too! i consider him a jack of all trades bc no matter what fandom, no matter what kind of character it is, rusty always succeeds at great portrayal of them :DD his fav character is axel and as a result, he's got a bunch of fantastic axel artwork on his blog!! :)

lukasdoodles has genuinely one of the most unique art styles that i have ever that is both adorable AND menacing /pos at times. their artwork consists of colorful lineart, and INSANELY detailed clothings, like oh my god. they're also INSANELY creative when it comes to it as well, putting in so many ruffles, and belts, and!!! so much more!! not only that but they have a bunch of blaze rods drawings on their blog!! including gill, who i think is one of the underrated characters in mcsm! they also do some animation every now and then, which is always so cool to see!!

zonerz is one of those dual part artist and dual part writers with their great artwork and writing! they're really good at putting together lore and is super in-depth when it comes down to the nitty gritty! their armor drawings are really well done and i admire the attention to details with every single one of their drawings!!

fel is one of the coolest fucking people i have ever met and #1 cassie rose fan. their artstyle reminds me of traditional paintings that you would find in a museum, like it is so refined and their character anatomy is ON POINT with how they draw muscles and scars so realistically. their aiden design is also one of the most dazzling to me bc of how they incorporate lightning into his scars. ALSO a huge aidrose fan if not THE president of the goddamn ship. they have so many character analysis on them both together and separately and they're always written SO WELL WITH SO MUCH RESPECT TO THE SOURCE MATERIAL.

crow has a bunch of fantastic mcsm content but one of their most fascinating ones is their command!lukas au, which has a whole story to go alongside it but i won't spoil it ;) and their individual jesse au where every single jesse has their own personality traits and they're so unique and well written!! absolutely love both au to bits!

acraftedmistake's art is unique in the sense that it is purely traditional and takes great advantage of paper texture as well as textures from markers and pens to make its presence known! to add to that, they do a bunch of mcsm work themed around horror! i do need to put a warning that they sometimes involve gore though it is very artistically done!! phenomenal artist!!

Zhenya has enough content to the point where i can make an entire POST this long to talk about her and the absolutely stunning drawings she makes about mcsm, particularly about the old order of the stone. she excels at drawing ivor, harper, and soren the most, though she has dwelved into other characters that haven't had the most light shed on them. my absolute favorite thing about her artwork is her artstyle because it is this GORGEOUS sketchy style where both the colors and the lines express themselves SO WELL and SO EFFECTIVELY! i can go raving mad about it honestly

Nova's artwork, i would like to define it, is filled with love and care. Her lineart and coloring patterns are colorful and light, as if they were drawn for the illustration for a book series, filled with so much delight. Nova's specialty is how she both writes and draws Ellegaard with so much appreciation for her character and through her portrayal of her. It's nothing short of dedication and heart. Nova's other works are also great as well and they do a lot to show Nova's artistic talent.

Onto WHY she's my favorite currently-

It's gotta be how much I've seen her change and grow with me, like I've had her since the start of middle school and it's so interesting how she started as a Fanon Chara knockoff (Those were dark days-) into the headstrong demon hybrid gal who struggles to really express her good emotions that she is now!

She's also one of the most fleshed-out OCs that I have, since she has an actual family and home life! Fun fact about her, she used to be a witch before I decided to give that trait to her ancestor and her younger sister. Nowadays, she's just a girl who's trying to get past highschool drama, hopefully gain the courage to confess to her crush, and provide for her family!!

I also adore her design since her red streaks are natural and demon hybrids naturally have pointed ears in The Zeroverse (An original world that I've made with my friend @nyanbadger50!!) Her scarf is also the last gift (and one of the ONLY gifts) she got from her dead mom, it's meant to protect her and keep her safe!

Based on Black Rock Shooter (anime) i dont have a set backstory for her yet, but the overall idea i have is; the other half of a japenese woman (name currently not decided) who was raised and condition to a life of perfection, unable to be her authentic self. She meets Mato (Black Rock Shooter) and she says and does some things that help her and lead her to breaking out of her shell and start becoming her authentic self (from a clean business woman that would do guitar as a hobby, to a punk rocker who got into music and became a music teacher at Matos school).

It's all a rough draft, and if anything Nano is a fun character for mostly self indulgence than good writing lol. Shes one of my fav oc's and i think shes very pretty, i hope yall thinks shes as neat and beautiful as i do lol ♡♡

Her name is derived from the word Nanodiamond (which are incredibly tiny diamonds used for a variety of things). Nano is very inspired by diamonds, her whole theme is diamonds from her design, to her name, to her personality/traits. The reason i chose this is because diamonds are considered to be beautiful, shiney, perfect if you will, but i also incredibly strong rocks that can come in different shapes and sizes, hence the "perfect" appearance but "rocky" traits.

I also chose to give her an alternative yet classy fit, inspired by subcultures of goth lolita and japanese fashion, even her weapon(s) are inspired by that aesthetic. Again, driving home the "perfect" yet "rocky" (i hope this all makes sense!) and also staying true to the fact the character is based in Japan, and trying my best to stay true to her source, Black Rock Shooter, and taking inspiration from Chariot and Dead Master's outfits especially from the TV anime. The robot-like legs were added a fun interesting thing i thought was cool, but i also feel it fit with its source especially since Chariot using wheels for feet as if their rollars skates. Overall, i felt keeping the theme of the "classy characters that live in a mansion having classy fits".

Out of twst I rEALLY enjoy Idia's design,,,, his fiery blue hair is so iconic like anyone who looks at him for the first time will, without a doubt think ''hey, he looks like hades from disney'' and since that's the point it means the design really delivered it

Leona and Riddle as well, Riddle may not be my fav but im obsessed with his design like its so aesthetically pleasing to me,,,,, And the little heart-shaped ahoge is so iconic and and the most unique trait on his chara design I just can't put into words just how genius it is UGH

From other fandoms, man I could list like. Pretty much half of the cast from Jojo (the GOAT in based and unique character designs) especially for Jolyne (<33) and Diavolo (I love his 80s rock fashion inspired design) Jolyne is really one of a kind bc her hair and clothes are so iconic and unique you really can't find that anywhere else

also a special mention for Stocking Anarchy from Panty & Stocking bc I was OBSESSED with her when I was 13 (I think a lot of us had the Stocking-obsessed phase) like I didn't really care much abt her personality I just really enjoyed her design lol and to this day I still think its one of the most iconic goth lolita anime girl designs

10 Facts About My Characters || ALWAYS ACCEPTING

Fíadh started as merely an Inscryption OC to fill in a niche the gameplay lacked! It's not; she's not a fix-it character, at least not in essence. I adore Leshy's part of Inscryption beyond words, but playing through, the hooved beast cards were always so LACKING.

Not terrible, but primarily chump blockers, nothing to call home about and which stood out in its own right. Likewise, Leshy's section, though excellent with eternal replayability, just didn't want to take advantage of the mountains or highlands that were RIGHT THERE and seemed like the perfect place to hide a monstrous maid and some more powerful hooved creatures and encounters.

Thus, Fíadh was born, to tie these concepts into a package that could be implemented into my own writing and to flesh out the world a touch more. But then, me being me, I gave her a life beyond this; I used her to flesh out Leshy as a character, to explain how he had grown from the first time we had seen him in Sacrifices Must Be Made and the P03 divorce arc. Then, I wanted to do the same with the other followers of Leshy's, because they have FOREVER been a massive bunch of favs for me.

Then, I gave her a story and goals of her own outside of them, I gave her full gameplay dynamics and whatnot and wrote up a campaign of her own. Then just built on her more and more; until now, she is really a fully-fledged character of her own, born from the simple desire to build on something I love and now she has a wholeass life!

Fíadh has SO MANY VERSES, not only in Inscryption, but primarily outside of them: she has the classic fandomless horror and human verse, and she has a DBD verse which I've put a ton more emphasis into due to my hyperfixation with it returning (Herman may return? Possibly), a couple of verses that plays into the fact that she is considered a Goddess of the Hunt, namely an American Gods and GOW/GOWR verses!

When I say Fíadh has the lower body and especially legs of a mountain goat, and many, many other beastly traits along those lines, such as a tail. I do not mean it in an appealing way exclusively.

No, there is beauty to it, but she is not a woman with nothing more than permanent furry leggings and hooves.

Her ENTIRE skeletal system has been altered, made from plantigrade bipedal human design, into an unguligrade sort of bipedalism. Her legs are angled and beyond muscular to accommodate her ability to climb and the weight distribution more evenly, and to give her the strength to jump and climb up seemingly unclimbable surfaces. Her pelvic bones are wider to accommodate this, as well as to make her center of gravity far wider, as is her spine.

And that's not even BEGINNING to touch on the shit going on with her upper body, shoulders, and arms built to aid in climbing her legs can't achieve. She has the same vibe and function as Mr. 'Big meaty claws' Leshy!

She is BUFFER THAN SHE HAS ANY RIGHT TO BE, built like a beast wearing her pretty green dress and I just adore it for her, my body horror queen!

On the topic, her facial features, holy fuck, she's the epitome of 'I like that, wait no, go back, stop doing that,' in that, she looks perfectly human and not just that but stunning in one or two positions, but other than that? Wrong in ever-intensifying shades of horrifying.

Fíadh has no whites in her eyes; they are solid gold with those distinctive oblong goat irises, which she cannot. move. No joke, it's cute at first to see the way she'll pivot her head around when speaking, but it is a necessity, not simply a quirk, and it's hard to unsee it.

Fíadh has veins that are particularly visible about her temples, near her ears and on her cheeks, almost camouflaged by the long, thick wool-like hair atop her head and the pre-existing freckles of her body, which would be expected in any normal person, but hers, they are BLACK, pitch black and stagnant.

Her mouth, god, her mouth. Have you ever seen those pictures of horses photoshopped to have the mouths of dogs? SHE IS JUST LIKE THAT. Usually, her mouth doesn't look amiss, a cute little cupid's bow that draws into a slight smile or a pout; it's sweet. But then she turns to grin, and the skin retracts and retracts, drawing back to reveal more and more sharp canine teeth and a large sharp tongue just behind them.

And when she has not fed for a time, tiny slivers of the true nature of being slip beneath the surface and the decay begins to take hold visibly. Her eyes will seem to sink in, the sockets ever darkening, her lips will seem to curl back, her colour worsening from a grey to a bruise purple, and then the skin begins to slough away, and the decay/starvation state takes hold. Not fun!

Thinking Of Making A New Pred, Could I Get Some Personality And Design Ideas? Thought It Would Be Interesting To Incorporate Different Ideas Other Than My Own Into A New OC.

Hm.. It all depends on what type of pred you are going for! There's so many choices you could use for personally. It all depends on what you want to see more ya know? For example: - Shy/Unwilling Preds but need to eat (Accidents can also happen during the noms or needs to force himself to stomach live prey) - A Sadistic Pred who loves the thrill of the hunt and the fear in a prey's eyes. (A Hunter who doesn't care for their prey and can be selfish and only care for their hunger in the end. But sometimes likes to play with their food or make a game out of it.) ((I see a lot of this and still cant get enough <3 Their my fav)) - A Pred who eats to protect a prey close to them or care about. Sometimes getting jealous over others (Go the territorial/instinctual side or its their 'job' route) - A laid back Pred who eats their friends to be funny or just for the satisfaction to be full (Can be for comedic relief and enjoys to annoy others with their hunger. Not really caring what they think.) - The softer type of Pred's who only eat willing prey. And can be like a therapy Pred who's there for Prey that want a escape from the 'outside' world - A unwilling/forced Pred that has 2 sides to them. One being the 'unwilling' while the other side is a more aggressive and forceful Pred to eat Prey. (This works with demons or monsters with a HOST, Or use a 'split personality' situation, Or simply just a 'feral side'.) ((another fav of mine)) - And lastly a "Flirty/Lustful" type of Pred who takes more satisfaction in it all. (I see this a lot-) As for as "Design" ideas... I have way too many to shout out that i won't have room to post haha. All i can say though is go off of real life animals or even plants! So many things have amazing colors or designs that help spark the imagination! If you want a tip, i tend to make the personally FIRST so i know what aesthetics/colors to work with best in the character. and find traits they would have to help flesh them out in the end! If anyone takes one of these ideas in making a Pred Character. pls @ me id love to see!

I created a new Drow OC for a character design challenge between friends! It was one of those where you pick like your favourite colour and season and stuff and get a set of like visual traits and stuff.

So the skin colour was kinda my favourite colour (its petrol) so I thought "yeah petrol seems drow-y!" and then I had to choose my fav season and obv. went for fall and had to give them a fall outfit... So I wanted a Halloween kinda look.

Anyway they are now a drow cleric of Loviatar. Their name is Xorril and I haven't really decided on a background for them yet. I did want to make them kind of a "good" Loviatar cleric, tho. So they won't kill, they will also not hurt people beyond recovery. They will not attack first and only wear their enemies down as self defense (but of course in a painful manner, as would make sense for a follower of Loviatar) and they will always prefer taking in and dishing out consensual... pain. :D

The first design is my preferred one, it will be the one I'll run with if I ever play them, but the second is basically what I had to do for the challenge, as it told me that they'd have to have a third eye and short hair.

I got a couple favs at the moment but Ryan definitely takes the cake right now. She's a relatively old OC but I recently got back into the game she's from (guild wars 2) and all her shit got brought at the forefront of my mind again and I'm like (shakes fist)

there's so much I love about her, I'm not even sure where to start lmao

she's a sylvari, a race of plant humanoids who emerge fully grown and retain the knowledge of the sylvari before them, to a degree, they're not a hivemind though, each sylvari being its own person. besides being mentioned that they don't have a heart but do have a digestive system in one (1) article, how the sylvari work is largely unknown which is great for headcannons

I'm really pleased with her visual design as well, but I think at the end of the day the thing that really appeals to me about her is the story, both what I've created for her and the actual gw2 story

she's technically only 15years old as a sylvari, though she'd likely be in her late 20s - early 30s as a human. She emerged from her pod with her twin brother Wyn and went straight into a proto-reality world war (whatever the fuck means, wiki) where they fought for 5 years, losing her brother in the process. Coming back from that, she was thrust into commanding and then leading an alliance against the dragons trying to destroy the world, along with every other world disaster and none stop crisis for like 10 years so like my girl ain't got no fucking sleep

and the plot points or things she's been through that literally drive me insane thinking about are, pretty major spoilers SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SPOILERED FOR GW2 GET OUTTA HERE

having to climb up a seemingly endless tower built like a maze, full of hallucination inducing poison, having to fight enemies she's not even sure are truly there, just to get to the top to put a stop to it

trying to save a city that no only was bombarded to hell and back, but was also filled with a toxic miasma, which still affects people near a decade later - bonus points for all the civilians screaming in the background while you're trying to find your way around the ruble

sylvari turns out are, or at least were, dragon minions and the dragon they come from straight up just talks in their head while they're trying to kill him (you don't get that if you're playing as another race)

the commander (aka Ryan) literally, straight up died to the hands of a fire god, who toyed with her the entire fight, and she then had to claw herself out of the underworld, spurred on by the anxiety of what will they do without me

this antagonist throwing it in her face that everything she's done in a desperate attempt to save the world is actually making it worse and the world actually needs saving from her

ur oc designs are so cute! my fav is daisy bc her hoodie is cute and the rocks floating around her are pretty EPIC (theyre drawn so well!!!) also.. can i ask what the markings on maggies skin are? are they something plant-related bc of her plant magic? :o and is holly intentionally colored pale/desaturated (compared to the other kids with light skin)? is that bc of her soul magic?

for maggie, they ARE because of her magic but not directly related to plants. everyone’s magic will effect them differently and she (and her mother and sister) have a sort of nature forest theme going, so they get cute deer-like horns that are actually branches growing out of their heads with flowers on them, and the marks to match the deer theme. meanwhile another character who uses plant magic, fungus, actually has a frog theme, so he wont end up getting any of those deer traits. he gets a long tongue and lily pad flowers on his head (or he will eventually- his magic hasnt effected him all too much yet)

and for holly, it kind of is! but its more of a hold-over for when her magic had a bit of a more ghostly theme (like camellia spirit magic, which is just a type of soul magic), so when i first designed her she was just meant to look sort of pale and ghostly. certain aspects of her design had changed but i kept that one in tact since it still sort of fits in with a different aspect of her character, albeit a far more background thing, which is the fact that she’s anemic. the inspiration for this is the symbolism of the red holly barriers being tied to blood, and also because i needed to put some type of weakness on her powers to keep her from just neutralizing everyone around her, now she can only use her stun gun power once before she’s near passed out. for clarification that’s the spell that allows her to stun someone’s connection to their soul making them unable to use magic for a certain amount of time, obviously very useful but if she can use it all the time it would make so many conflicts too easy. not to mention…. it makes the reds in her design pop a lot more lol. i really wanna get the point across that her color is RED red without making it too much of an eyestrain

regardless of how terrible he is-im rly proud of how far hes come, and how far he has yet to go!!! theres a lot of backstory things yall dont know that id like to still reveal, and lots of possibilities for him to develop into too! im just proud of how he’s developed over the years, and id like to think hes become an interesting enough character in his own right even if i do redo his sprites every 2 minutes and am already wanting to redo them again

as for character inspiration--im not really sure! ive honestly not made a truly new oc for....years at this point! any ocs now i made at least 3 years ago,,, that said, heres the source of inspo for all of them, no matter how ridiculous:
