Mind Over Matter
I think it's fucked up that all of the pupils lose their body and/or mind somehow because of Magnificus and his trials. Most of them literally, some metaphorically.

A magic portal opens in your refrigerator that summons one of your ocs into the real world, BUT it also brings the main antagonistic force from their plotline along after them. You're responsible for guiding your oc through their fish-out-of-water movie plotline. Who are you hoping comes through that hole in the universe behind your wilting lettuce, and how does it go for both of you?

hmm. magnus musings. this is a bit dense and extremely fluffy information.
• he likes havings peircings/jewelry for the weight it adds, and the feeling when he moves (on top of the cultural normalcy of it). it helps him stay focused and confident, as its a reliable consistent stimulus. he consistently keeps an eyebrow ring, at least a single large peircing on each ear, and a snug set of bangles around his neck, horns, wrists, and ankles. he is fine with rings on his fingers, but they can be a bit overwhelming and arent as commonly seen in the primarch's casual days.
• he is a very gregarious individual (when hes not deep in focus on whatever hes studying at the time), and loves to actually physically touch the people hes socializing with! its normally just a firm touch on the arm or shoulder, or a hug after a conversation has finished. he became more withdrawn post-heresy, and instead you will see him wringing his hands together in one-on-one conversation, or other self-regulating fidgets...
• self-regulation, other than the many bits of jewelery he adorns himself with, falls a lot on his hair. he busies himself by wrapping the locks between his fingers, or combing his digits through a dense part of it. he also enjoys ponytails/hair wrappings, but has had issues of it being too tight in the past, and prefers to do his own hairstylings. you will also see him popping joints regularly, his shoulders and fingers being popular targets.
• the daemon primarch, while intensely more withdrawn, still yearns intensely for the open social atmosphere he grew up surrounded by. he lacks the ability (or the guts) to voice it, and has (embarassingly, he feels) grown meek from the loss and pain. if this is brought to attention, he will rebuke the claim and insist hes grown to be strong enough to leave companionship behind. this goes poorly for him, further isolating himself from potential interpersonal relationships he needs... wait, who said he needed friendship?! no, thats an inane mockery to everything he is, he alone got himself to this power!
• being splintered into many fractures has caused a plethora of issues for magnus' psyche. memory recall is one he can be seen becoming physically distressed when faced with it, clutching at his head frustratedly and avoiding conversation as a whole. ontop of all of the loss surrounding him, it seems his fracturing has even further buried him into depression and unrest. his mood ebbs and flows to the tune of manic conviction to abysmal uncertianty.

PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE CORRUPTION AND METAPHORS TO ABUSIVE/TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS AND UNHEALTHY COPING MECHANISMS?
Oooooh boy, this is one of my favourite topics :D allow me to ramble (i mean, you can't stop me, all you can do is just not post this ask)
MAG 6 - Squirm: The Corruption keeps Harriet from getting help, is captivating to Timothy Hodge.
MAG 22 - Colony: A bit of a reach, but Martin's tendency to "set himself on fire to keep others warm" is why he ended up drawing the attention of Jane Prentiss, who in turn forced him to be alone for 13 days -- and we know self isolation is a common unhealthy tendency of Martin's
MAG 32 - Hive: Jane's knowledge that the hive is hurting her, yet feeling called by it; skin picking is a maladaptive coping mechanism and can also be a sign of ocd, etc; Jane being called "toxic" by her friends, isolation leading to unhealthy relationships/coping mechanisms/whatever the metaphor for the hive is today.
MAG 84 - Possessive: Maggie & Gordie as an unhealthy mother-son relationship? Becoming like those who hurt you, cycle of violence but rotting?
MAG 93 - Containment: Greg's cleaning compulsion is implied to be because of OCD and gets worse after his wife and daughter's death. Maladapitive coping mechanism?
MAG 102 - Nesting Instinct: The beetle took advantage of Benoit's loneliness and desperation for companionship, unhealthy relationships.
MAG 153 - Love Bombing: Cult manipulation tactics are portrayed in this episode, as far as I know, quite accurate to real life. Preying on the lonely and vulnerable, making them feel affection and connection, then yk. the bad stuff happens.
All this to say if you love The Corruption TMA and don't mind seeing gore and a sex scene, you should watch Midsommar. I did with my friend a bit ago and it was really good. The cinematography was phenomenal, so was the story, still in awe of it.
But on the tma topic, the Corruption TMA is really cool and I love talking about The Magnus Archives and the subtext and the analogies and it's like oooooh.

Last Line Tag L
holy shit thats fifty last lines. damn ANYWAY i was tagged by the lovely @writingrosesonneptune!! thank you so much :D
this bit is from the end of an isa POV chapter in goddess-touched <3 can't think of content warnings off the top of my head rn but it involves loud arguing with an old woman about the death penalty
“But you didn’t think for a fucking second in the last two months that it might be fucking helpful to know who was helping her?” Lakia’s words crack like a whip, the plants all around the courtyard writhing along with her anger, thorns growing out of tomato vines and carrot sprigs and even the walls, as the wood paneling revives itself with her rage. “They’re dead,” Xavi snaps, arms crossed tightly under his cloak as his foot taps relentlessly on the glass of the clockface in the ground. “It’s done. You could be putting all this--” he waves to the garden “--to something more productive, kid.” “If they’re dead,” she spits, “the world needs to know their names so we can fucking drag them through every pile of mud and shit that ever has been and ever will be. And if they’re not--” “Then what?” Mags says, the paper-bead bracelets on her wrists rattling as she folds her arms and sticks up her chin. “Tell me, what would you want us to do? Kill them?” She tsks. “You don’t want a world where the government can do that on such short notice.”
i'll tag @vacantgodling, @writeblrfantasy, @sleepyowlwrites, @authoralexharvey, and @ashen-crest!! as always, absolutely 0 pressure to play, and this doubles as an open tag if you've been looking for an excuse and/or want me to see what you have to share <3

Step-by-Step Process of Digital Marketing
Step 1: Initial Consultation and Goal Setting
The journey with Digital Marketing begins with an in-depth consultation to understand the client’s business objectives, target audience, and current marketing efforts. During this phase, the team conducts a thorough analysis of the client’s brand, industry, and competition. Key activities include:
Discovery Meeting: A detailed discussion to identify the client’s goals, challenges, and expectations.
Business Analysis: Reviewing the client’s existing marketing strategies, website performance, and market position.
Goal Setting: Establishing clear, measurable objectives for the marketing campaign, such as increasing website traffic, boosting brand awareness, or generating leads.
This foundational step ensures that Digital Marketing develops a tailored strategy that aligns with the client’s vision and business goals.
Step 2: Market Research and Competitor Analysis
Once the goals are set, Digital Marketing conducts comprehensive market research and competitor analysis. This step involves:
Market Research: Identifying industry trends, customer behavior, and market demands using advanced tools and techniques.
Competitor Analysis: Analyzing competitors’ strategies, strengths, and weaknesses to find opportunities for differentiation.
Audience Insights: Understanding the target audience’s preferences, needs, and pain points.
This research provides valuable insights that inform the development of a strategic marketing plan.
Step 3: Strategy Development
With a solid understanding of the market and the client’s objectives, Digital Marketing moves on to crafting a customized marketing strategy. The strategy includes:
SEO Strategy: Optimizing the website for search engines through keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical improvements.
Content Marketing Plan: Developing a content calendar and creating engaging, SEO-optimized content such as blog posts, videos, and infographics.
Social Media Strategy: Designing a plan for managing social media accounts, creating content, and engaging with followers.
PPC Campaigns: Planning and setting up pay-per-click advertising campaigns to drive targeted traffic and generate leads.
Each component of the strategy is designed to address the client’s specific needs and achieve the defined objectives.
Step 4: Implementation and Execution
With the strategy in place, Digital Marketing begins the implementation phase. This includes:
Website Optimization: Making technical and on-page SEO improvements to enhance site performance and user experience.
Content Creation: Producing and publishing high-quality content across various platforms.
Social Media Management: Scheduling and posting content, managing interactions, and running social media campaigns.
PPC Advertising: Launching and managing pay-per-click campaigns, including keyword bidding and ad placement.
The implementation phase ensures that all elements of the strategy are executed effectively to achieve the desired results.
Step 5: Monitoring and Performance Tracking
Digital Marketing emphasizes the importance of monitoring and tracking the performance of marketing activities. This involves:
Performance Analytics: Using tools to track key metrics such as website traffic, conversion rates, and social media engagement.
Regular Reporting: Providing clients with detailed reports that highlight the progress and effectiveness of the marketing efforts.
Adjustments and Optimization: Making data-driven adjustments to the strategy based on performance insights to improve results.
This ongoing monitoring ensures that the marketing campaigns remain effective and aligned with the client’s goals.
Step 6: Review and Continuous Improvement
The final step in Digital Marketing process is to review the results and identify areas for continuous improvement. This involves:
Review Meetings: Discussing the outcomes of the marketing campaigns with the client and evaluating the overall performance.
Feedback and Recommendations: Providing recommendations for future strategies and adjustments based on the results.

Every once in a while I think about how one of the starkest differences for me between season five and the previous ones is the complete lack of any kind of supplementals. Sure, Jon is more or less still recording his statements but then he's done. It's just a quick pause to get that story off his chest and then we're back to trudging through the apocalypse. And sure we get conversations with Martin (which are near and dear to my heart) and all the others like Helen, Basira and so on, but we don't have the introspection of before where Jon would sometimes just let loose a stream of consciousness. Whether that's the paranoid mess in season two where I just heard the word supplemental and I immediatly went "what did you do now, Jon?" or his struggles in season 4 pondering about morality and the state of his humanity. They were such good insight into Jon's mind at the moment. But in season five we only get what he tells others and sometimes I go a bit feral because I would've liked so much to have a look into Jon's mind in the last season.
