⋆.ೃ JJBA HEADCANONS ࿔*:・
Masterlist here <3

genre: headcanons
warnings: slight nsfw for mista
characters: bucci gang
notes: i have never done any headcanon posts but i would like to share these with you guys! even tho part 5 isnt my favorite part in the series, its the part i enjoy writing for the most because bucci gang = confort gang <33
Bucci gang headcanons

(this isn’t checked for any spelling mistakes because i got too tired so i’m sorry if there’s any!)
Bruno Bucciarati
- Loves writing poetry, especially about people he knows and his experiences in life; probably keeps his poems in an out-dated leather notebook inside a locked drawer (i also imagine that he hates to share them with anyone because he sees it as something personal, unless it’s with someone he’s been in a relationship with long term)
- Obviously, a comfort cook. He loves feeding the gang home cooked meals after missions
- LOVES THE RAIN! There’s just something about the rain that soothes him, he also really loves the smell outside after a very heavy rain pour
- He often acts like a protective parent to the rest of the gang, and I strongly believe that he has a soft spot for narancia
- I can honestly see bruno sleeping while sitting up very often, like in chairs and sofas. It’s a habit from years of always being on guard
Leone Abbacchio
- A late night drinker, he enjoys sitting by himself with a glass of wine; he is either zoned off or thinking about the past
- He has an EXTENSIVE collection of vinyl records. Prefers listening to older, slower music because it helps him relax
- This man 100% has a secret soft spot for animals and it’s just so cute, stops on the street to pet and feed stray dogs and cats
- Loves italian pastries, if bruno ever buys a tray of pastries he’ll sneak off at night and eat it all, the gang will probably not suspect a thing and blame it on narancia 😭
- Cold shower enjoyer, also likes showering in the morning rather than the afternoon
Giorno Giovanna
- Plant whisperer, has a habit of talking to plants especially when he’s feeling contemplative
- Giorno keeps his surroundings extremely neat, his room is always spotless and he has a specific system for organizing his clothes, accessories etc
- Obviously has a morning routine, likes to be a pretty princess and has very specific products he uses on his skin, also probably brushes his hair 100 times in the morning to keep it “soft and shiny”
- Enjoys silence more than loud spaces, he doesn’t necessarily hate loudness as long as it’s not too much, but he feels way more comfortable with quiet
Guido Mista
- 100% has a happy trail. I. Will. Forever. Live. By. This. There is not a single thing i hate about mistas character design EXCEPT for the fact araki didn’t give him a happy trail. Like this man is definitely very hairy and prefers keeping a bush
- He is superstitious to the core. He never steps on cracks, walks under ladders, and hates when the clock hits 4:44
- A spaghetti specialist, he takes his pasta very seriously, and even tho he doesn’t know how to cook one bit he will always judge a pasta plate
- Actually doesn’t stink that much, but his body odor is something else after missions (bc of the fact i imagine him to be hairy), but when he’s not on a mission he js smells like citrus and a hint of cigarettes
- Contrary to popular belief, i don’t think mista enjoys gun-play🤔 he sees the gun as something to torture and kill his enemies with, so he would rather not imagine his s/o being in a situation like that
Pannacotta Fugo
- Used to love piano when he was a kid, but when he got older he started to resent it because he felt as if it was forced onto him by his parents, a very good pianist but doesn’t really play
- Habitual Knuckle-cracker, unconsciously cracks his knuckles when he’s irritated or thinking too hard
- Fugo takes pride in his suits and is always dressed to impress, can’t stand the idea of his suits being wrinkled and constantly checks his reflection
- Idk why but i can imagine him playing chess mentally against himself in his spare time
- He’s also fluent in several languages and likes to indirectly flex about it, sometimes switches languages in the middle of a sentence and acts like it was an accident but he actually just wants to flex the fact that he’s multilingual
Narancia Ghirga
- LOVESSS 90’s hiphop and 90’s rap, even tho he doesn’t really understand what they’re saying he is obsessed with the flow and the beat, and also really loves the album covers and how cool they look (i wrote this because 90’s hiphop is my favorite genre of music and i can 100% see it being narancias’ too)(also he prefers biggie over tupac)
- Surprisingly good at video games like arcade shooters, easily spends hours playing and if a game contains a daily log-in streak type of thing, he takes it very seriously
- Snores sooooo louddddddd and moves alot in his sleep, if you’re sleeping next him you WILL be getting kicked, also scratches you with his toenails and cold feet to piss you off
- Has a stash of snacks hidden away for himself and hates sharing, sometimes the chocolates get melted and the candies get stuck together bc of how tightly stashed away they are but he doesn’t care and eats them anyways
- Doodles constantly, on anything, napkins, tables, hands you name it, if he has a pen in his hand he will doodle simple cute drawings
- His phone wallpaper is one of kawaii nutella photo things LMAO😭 idk if you guys know what i’m talking about but he thinks they’re so cute because of their big eyes

That was it! I wanted to write more for narancia because i love him and he is my literal son but then this would be too long ;( If you liked this make sure to check out the scenarios i write and don’t be shy to request ones that you’d like me to write in the future <3

Confession headcanons
Friendly reminder that English is not my first language. You can check my Masterlists both in English and Polish here.
Consider supporting me on Ko-fi. You can also check out my commissions if you're interested.
Other headcanons from this series can be found here.
Part 2 | Part 3 of the confession headcanons.
This part contains: Malleus Draconia, Idia Shroud and Kalim Al-Asim.
Malleus Draconia
• Malleus' confession of feelings involved a number of obstacles and misunderstandings, although happily resolved.
• He wrote about you many times in letters to his grandmother. And although it made him realize the fragility of relationships with humans, grandma was also very happy knowing that her grandson had experienced such deep love. She really wanted to meet you, even though you didn't know it at the time.
• Draconia's biggest fear and block from telling you how he felt was the fear of loss. In various aspects of it. He was aware that he would certainly outlive you, and from time to time the thought of you returning to the world you came from floated in the back of his mind. In addition, you were his first real friend, not counting the people who were with him every day. Rejection could cost him the entire relationship.
One most ordinary night, he simply realized that the risk was worth trying to tell you how he felt.
• Malleus sprang into action with eager vigour. Unfortunately, these efforts were somewhat misdirected. It took Lilia to clearly explain to him that the customs adopted among fae do not necessarily translate to humans. He was forced to do this, as it were, because after you threw away his family generational necklace, the clouds over Diasomnia were darkening day by day and a disastrous downpour with lightning was brewing.
Meanwhile, you were simply afraid that Grim would destroy such a valuable and expensive gift. You had absolutely no idea of the additional meaning it carried.
• The second attempt was definitely more successful. Malleus gave you the rose seeds he grew in Briar Valley. Planted in Ramshackle, with his magic they turned into a field of red flowers. Combined with the moonlight and the fireflies dancing around you, it created a wonderful atmosphere that you will remember for a long time.
It was then that the fae confessed to you that he had been smitten with you from the very beginning but it was your friendship, so precious to him, that turned into something more. The fact that he knelt down in front of you and promised to give you everything you wanted made you think for a moment that he was going to propose to you. Initially, that's what he planned, but Lilia talked him out of it...
Idia Shroud
• It's not that Idia didn't know what love was. He had played so many otome games that while he wasn't an expert, he certainly wasn't a noob. However, without Ortho's help, he would not have correctly recognized its signs in real life.
• He started by avoiding you. The rapid heartbeat and red tips of his hair were becoming more and more frequent and it was difficult for him to control them. So he found the best solution he could come up with, which was to lock himself in his room. He avoided you as much as he could all over campus.
• His brother, although he quickly understood through data analysis what was happening to him, did not think it was good to raise the topic too early. Initially, he wanted to give Idia time. Time was clearly running out because the robot, seeing you once again look sadly at the tablet and gave it a wide berth, decided to act. He prepared a series of tests to convince your older brother that you reciprocate his feelings. Of course, Shroud hid under the blanket, mumbled to be left alone. Although he pretended to be uninterested, the speech actually sparked hope in him.
Maybe this time he wasn't a total knight nerd and side hero? Maybe he could play the lead role for once?
• He did what he does best. He designed a program that allowed him to send a request if you wanted to be his girlfriend. At worst, he was going to pretend it was a mistake.
When he saw that instead of checking the tick box, you had come to Ignihyde, he immediately paled. You had to knock on the door, telling him that you wouldn't leave until he explained to you what was actually going on and how this confession related to his constant avoidance of you.
Idia just stuck his head out of the crack, stammered and said that he was like the worst NPC you've ever seen but if you let him have some time, maybe he'll become a main character worthy of you.
Kalim Al-Asim
• Friendzone should be his middle name. From the beginning of your relationship, he sent you signals that you considered romantic. Until you started spending more time with him around others and you found out that Kalim treated them the same way he treated you. That's when everything started to get confusing for you.
• When you tried to tell him that you liked him very much, he replied that he liked you too. When you said more, he said more, more. And when you said he was more than a friend, he said you were his best friend. He did all this with such a wide smile on his face that you didn't have the heart to explain to him the true meaning of your statements. You knew the sincerity of his words. Few people in the NRC matched him in truthfulness. But it was incredibly frustrating for you.
• Grim knew exactly what was happening, seeing your hearty eyes every time you left the desert dormitory. He calculated in his head how many cans of tuna he would get if you got together with the prefect of Scarabia. This prompted him to not-so-subtly blurt out to Kalim that you were romantically interested in him. In return, he received a promise of a container of fish delicacies.
• The boy was in great shock but in a positive way. He didn't know what to do with all his joy, so he grabbed the first flowers in a vase he had at hand and ran towards the flying carpet. You weren't expecting him at all in the evening, dressed in your pajamas and ready to go to bed. He hugged you so tightly that he almost knocked you over and that was before he even remembered that he hadn't told you why he actually came...

thinking about fnaf so da bite right theirs two of those for some reason bu t the 87 bite one alot of people think its mangle But im disagree because, the consqeuences of the bite of 87 aren't "hey we shouldn't have a fucking pull apart put together animatronic" but "hey we shouldn't have free-roaming during day animatronics" the only way it Wouldn't be that is if fazbear entertainment reaslied they would get in trouble for the fucing mangle and tried to act like mangle was actaully just a nyronal animatronic guys we swearrr :) (and then personally the themeing of toy chica taking off her beak + refernces in UCN to pecking brain stuff [+a little of the chica being used as a purpleguy standin] makes me think shes the one who did it, sexy bird lady who ALSO fucks up a nightguard ^w^)
okie and then also just to tack on another seperate theory so nyall nefur have to deal with me talking abt fnaf again: i think that "fazbear entertainment" in universe started off with a cartoon type story about a bear (freddy) and his friends running a restraunt, with fredbear as a secondary character who was either a rival or more likely an older father figure then, plans to make a real restraunt come up, and they collaborate with an outside company, afton robotics, to bring the characters to life due to the costs involved, and a fear of the potential uncanny-ness of the animatronic designs, they downscale plans, running a "demo" with only fredbear, but the ceo of afton robotics suggests having a second character, a completmtary yellow version of bonnie, that eventually gets coined Spring Bonnie, due to him originating with this spring-lock type suits, which is probably made because an initial freddy's location that relied on costumed performers existed and they wanted that as a backup / complematry option with the other suits? :3 and then william afton does murders and chooses to use his oc do not steal hes me for real for real ^w^
also as an apology to my mewre based followers ill write something abt like, post security breech vanessa ending she gets an apartment and kinda takes in gregory, gets drunk thinking abt being a rabbit themed murderer and kinda still a kidnapper since she hasn't made any effort to do the having a homeless kid in her hourse thing, and then when she gets too drunk to really rember gregory unethical shota mewments may be ^w^

12, 17, 23 !
12) Shortest time you’ve beaten a game in?
Not counting flash games, I'm pretty sure my shortest time is beating Sonic 2 in about 20 minutes. The funny thing about that though is that the 1st time I ever properly beat the game was playing the Knuckles in Sonic 2 cartridge lock-on easter egg (which the Sonic Mega Collection preserved as it's own version of the game)! Knuckles's glide can completely trivialize certain levels in that game, so for once I was able to get to the Death Egg with enough lives + continues to finally beat the boss. I've since beaten Sonic 2 with Sonic in later playthroughs, but I'm pretty sure my 1st Knuckles remains the fastest rn 😎
Now that you mention it, I could also probably beat Sonic 1 or even CD in that time frame too if I ever get back into practice with them.
17) What game do you never tell people you play?
Ghosts N' Goblins 4 sure. I played that son-of-a-bitch nightmare fuck game on original hardware and it was AGONIZING. I'm normally the kind of person who defends the more archaic qualities of older cartridge games but I can't do it for GNG. It's a bad port of an arcade game with annoying enemies, mediocre level design, an obnoxious weapon system that actively tricks you (I'm NOT kidding!), and an infamously cruel final level that I couldn't even reach. I only got as far as level 3 before giving up. Play Demon's Crest instead.
Also NEVER play the Finding Nemo tie-in for the GC/PS2/XB. I'm sure all of you weren't going to anyway but that one gets a special mention for being the personal worst game I ever played in my childhood and... possibly ever, actually. I'd be more willing to recommend people play any of the Bubsy games than that criminally boring-ass license game.
23) Biggest disappointment you’ve had in gaming?
I had to really think about this one, but ultimately there's only one game that truly encapsulates me wanting a game sooooo bad, getting it, and then very slowly realizing I'm not having nearly as much fun with it as I had hoped.
Dark Cloud 2.
Now Dark Cloud 1 certainly has its issues, but honestly it's still one of my favorite PS2 games and I can replay easily replay it all over again. I already knew about DC2 as a teen before even finding a copy of DC1, and everything about it looked AMAZING! My parents decided to get it for me for one Christmas, so I put the disc straight into my PS2, played it for a few hours, then a few days, then a few weeks, and...
It's honestly really hard to explain what this game's problem is. By all technical accounts it truly is a sequel which expands upon the original game's concepts and irons out a lot of the jank while introducing interesting new features (ex: voice acting, a photography system, a monster transformation system + piloting a mechanical robot for each respective character, and a golf minigame too).
But ironically it's all of these features combined that ended up killing the game for me. This sequel is SO BLOATED with content that it genuinely becomes exhausting to play.
Some of the new mechanics are cool, but others are horribly executed (i.e. beast transformations & spheda golfing), and most of them are required to beat the game on top of the usual dungeon crawling + town rebuilding. So the further I got into the game the more it kept making me stop to do some other side tangent that doesn't control as well or feel as satisfying as the main game stuff, and it just kept piling on and ruining the flow of the gameplay for me.
That and the story was just OK, I guess. There were certainly some interesting moments, and the boss fight in Starlight Canyon was awesome! But I found the voice acting to be more annoying than charming, and for as simplistic as DC1's story was it somehow ended up being more engaging than DC2's even though it really shouldn't have been, if that makes any sense.
I know there are certainly people who would disagree with me, but for me Dark Cloud 2 will always be my #1 example of a game that's simultaneously "better" than its predecessor while also being a much "worse" game to play. Such a shame T_T
#asks#video games#not sure if I've ever talked about DC2 on here before#but it felt good to confess that tbh

Understanding Day Face Cream: Function, Formula, and Facts
I. What Is a Day Face Cream?
Day face cream refers to a skincare product designed for use during daytime hours. Unlike night creams, which are often heavier and more restorative, day creams are formulated to protect, hydrate, and support the skin through the stresses of the day—such as UV exposure, pollution, and dehydration.
While the specific ingredients and textures may vary, the overarching goal remains consistent: to maintain the skin’s health and resilience throughout the day.
II. Core Functions of a Day Face Cream
A well-formulated day face cream typically serves several important purposes:
1. Hydration
Even during relatively cool or humid conditions, the skin loses moisture over time. A day cream helps to lock in hydration, ensuring that the skin remains supple and smooth.
2. Barrier Protection
Environmental factors such as dust, pollution, and changes in humidity can weaken the skin barrier. A good cream acts as a lightweight shield, supporting the skin’s natural defense mechanism.
3. Sun Protection (When Included)
Some day creams include sun protection in the form of SPF. While not all do, it’s common for multifunctional products to offer broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays—an essential feature to slow signs of aging and prevent sun damage.
4. Primer-Like Base for Makeup
Because of its non-greasy finish, a day face cream can double up as a makeup base, offering smooth texture and improved adherence of cosmetic products.
III. Key Ingredients to Look For
The formulation of a day cream plays a critical role in its effectiveness. While there is no single universal formula, most creams draw from the following categories of ingredients:
a. Humectants
These draw water from the environment into the skin.
Common examples: Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera
b. Emollients
These soften and smooth the skin by filling in the gaps between skin cells.
Common examples: Squalane, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter
c. Occlusives
These create a barrier to prevent water loss.
Common examples: Dimethicone, Beeswax, Lanolin (for drier skin types)
d. Antioxidants
Used to neutralize free radicals and environmental stressors.
Common examples: Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Niacinamide, Green Tea Extract
e. SPF Filters (if applicable)
Physical filters: Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide
Chemical filters: Avobenzone, Octinoxate, Octocrylene
IV. Who Should Use a Day Face Cream?
1. All Skin Types
Every skin type benefits from a day face cream, though the formulation should be chosen accordingly:
Oily skin: Lightweight, non-comedogenic, gel-based options
Dry skin: Richer, emollient-based formulas with longer hydration
Sensitive skin: Fragrance-free and minimal ingredients
Combination skin: Balancing formulations that hydrate without heaviness
2. All Ages
From early adulthood into older age, day creams can be adjusted to fit the skin’s evolving needs—hydration in youth, anti-aging in mature skin.
V. Common Myths About Day Face Creams
❌ Myth 1: “You don’t need a day cream if you’re indoors all day.”
Even indoor environments can dry out the skin, especially with air conditioning or heating systems. Plus, UVA rays (responsible for aging) can penetrate windows.
❌ Myth 2: “Oily skin doesn’t need moisturizer.”
Skipping moisturizer can increase oil production, leading to breakouts. The right lightweight day face cream can regulate and balance sebum.
❌ Myth 3: “All creams with SPF are enough for sun protection.”
Unless the SPF is high enough (ideally SPF 30 or more) and applied generously, additional sunscreen is still recommended—especially with prolonged exposure.
VI. When and How to Apply Day Face Cream
Timing matters. Ideally, a day face cream should be applied in the morning after cleansing and toning but before sunscreen (unless the cream includes SPF).
Application tips:
Use a pea-sized amount
Gently massage it in upward, circular motions
Don’t forget the neck and décolleté
Wait a few minutes before layering sunscreen or makeup
VII. How Day Creams Differ From Other Moisturizers
FeatureDay Face CreamNight CreamAll-in-One MoisturizerWeight/TextureLightweightRich and thickMediumFunctionProtect and hydrateRepair and restoreGeneral hydrationSPFOften includedRarely includedMay or may not have SPFBest time of useMorningNightAnytimeSuitable for makeupYesNoDepends
VIII. Things to Consider Before Choosing a Day Face Cream
1. Check Ingredient List
Avoid known irritants or allergens. Look for science-backed, skin-friendly ingredients.
2. Understand Your Skin Type
Choose a product based on what your skin naturally needs. Trial-and-error is often the key.
3. Consider the Climate
Your daily environment affects your skin. A humid place may call for lighter formulations, while drier areas may need richer creams.
4. Patch Test First
Even gentle products can react negatively. Always patch test on a small area first.
IX. Final Thoughts
A day face cream is more than just a cosmetic add-on—it’s an essential layer of protection, hydration, and daily skin support. By choosing the right formula and applying it consistently, you contribute to long-term skin resilience and health.
Skincare is not about perfection, but about consistent care. A thoughtful approach to your day face cream can go a long way in preserving your skin’s natural balance and glow.

When Should You Replace Your Garage Door? A Guide for Victor Idaho Homeowners

Your garage door plays a crucial role in protecting your home, boosting curb appeal, and ensuring functionality. Over time, wear and tear can reduce its efficiency, making you wonder whether a replacement is necessary. If you're considering Victor Idaho garage door replacement, this guide will highlight the key signs that indicate it’s time for an upgrade.
Signs That Your Garage Door Needs Replacing
1. Frequent Breakdowns and Costly Fixes
If your garage door constantly needs fixing, replacing it may be the more practical solution. While minor repairs are expected, ongoing issues like worn-out springs, faulty openers, and misaligned tracks can add up in cost. Instead of repeatedly calling a garage door company in Eastern Idaho, consider upgrading to a new, dependable model.
2. Strange Noises and Unsteady Movement
Older garage doors tend to produce unusual sounds and excessive vibrations. If your door rattles, screeches, or moves unevenly, it may be time to replace it. Newer Victor ID overhead doors operate smoothly and quietly, enhancing your home’s comfort and security.
3. Slow Response or Unreliable Performance
A properly working garage door should open and close promptly. If your door hesitates, moves sluggishly, or becomes unresponsive, worn-out parts or outdated technology may be the cause. Garage door installers in Victor can help you upgrade to a more efficient and reliable door.
4. Outdated or Damaged Appearance
A garage door significantly impacts your home’s exterior. If your door looks faded, cracked, or outdated, replacing it can boost your home's curb appeal. A modern garage door can also increase property value, making it a worthwhile upgrade.
5. Security Concerns and Safety Hazards
Your garage door acts as a barrier to protect your home and belongings. If it no longer locks securely or has gaps that allow unwanted guests or pests inside, a replacement is necessary. Upgraded doors offer superior security features for better protection.
6. Increased Utility Bills
An old or poorly insulated garage door can lead to energy loss, raising your heating and cooling expenses. If you notice drafts or fluctuating temperatures in your garage, upgrading to an insulated model can help. A new door maintains stable indoor temperatures and enhances energy efficiency.
Benefits of Installing a New Garage Door
Increased Property Value
Upgrading your garage door is one of the most valuable home improvements. Potential buyers appreciate stylish, functional doors that improve both aesthetics and security.
Enhanced Safety Features
Newer garage doors come with advanced safety technology, such as automatic reversal systems and improved sensors. These features minimize risks and provide a safer environment for your household.
Improved Convenience
Upgrading to a smart garage door opener allows for remote access and increased security. Whether you're home or away, modern systems let you control and monitor your garage with ease.
Choosing the Best Garage Door for Your Home
Compare Different Materials
Garage doors are available in materials like steel, wood, and aluminum. Each material has its own advantages, so select one that complements your home’s design and durability needs.
Look at Insulation Options
Insulated garage doors improve energy efficiency and reduce noise. If you use your garage for storage or as a workspace, insulation provides added benefits.
Select a Design That Matches Your Home
From sleek modern styles to traditional carriage doors, various designs can enhance your home’s exterior. Speak with garage door installers in Victor to explore your options.

Pepper Spray: Legal Defense for Families in Perth & Western Australia
When it comes to personal safety, families in Perth and across Western Australia are increasingly seeking effective, legal, and easy-to-use self-defense solutions. Pepper spray has emerged as a popular choice among preppers in Australia, particularly for those who prioritize personal security as part of their prepping and survival strategies. This article delves into the essentials of pepper spray, its legal standing in Western Australia, and how it fits into the broader context of survival supplies for families and individuals.
The Growing Importance of Personal Safety
In today's world, ensuring the safety of your loved ones has become a top priority. From urban centers like Perth to rural areas across Western Australia, the need for self-defense tools that are accessible and effective is on the rise. While violent crime rates may vary, the peace of mind that comes from having a reliable defense tool cannot be overstated. For families, pepper spray represents a non-lethal, affordable, and convenient way to enhance personal security.
What is Pepper Spray?
Pepper spray is a compact, handheld device that disperses a powerful spray containing oleoresin capsicum (OC), a natural chemical derived from chili peppers. When sprayed into an attacker’s eyes or face, it causes intense irritation, temporary blindness, and difficulty breathing, effectively incapacitating them. This gives the victim time to escape or seek help.
For preppers in Australia, including those involved in prepping in Perth and beyond, pepper spray is an invaluable addition to survival kits. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and effective in a range of situations, from self-defense to warding off aggressive animals in the wild.
The Legal Status of Pepper Spray in Western Australia
One of the first questions people ask about pepper spray in Australia is whether it is legal. In Western Australia, pepper spray is classified as a controlled weapon under the Weapons Act 1999. This means it is legal to carry and use pepper spray for self-defense purposes, provided you have a genuine reason for possessing it. It’s important to understand the regulations surrounding pepper spray to avoid any legal complications.
Here are some key points to keep in mind:
Restricted Use: Pepper spray must only be used for self-defense in situations where there is a legitimate threat to personal safety.
Permits: Some areas may require a permit or proper authorization to carry pepper spray.
Storage and Transport: Pepper spray should be stored securely and transported in a way that minimizes access by unauthorized individuals, particularly children.
Understanding these laws ensures that you can use pepper spray responsibly and within the bounds of the law.
Why Families in Perth Should Consider Pepper Spray
For families in Perth and the broader Western Australian region, pepper spray offers several advantages as a self-defense tool:
1. Non-Lethal Protection
Unlike firearms or knives, pepper spray is non-lethal, making it a safer option for families. It provides an effective means of protection without the risk of causing permanent harm.
2. Ease of Use
Pepper spray is simple to operate, even in high-stress situations. Many models, like the Guardian Defence Pepper Spray 30ml, are designed with safety locks and ergonomic grips, making them accessible for both adults and older teenagers.
3. Portable and Discreet
The compact size of pepper spray canisters makes them easy to carry in a handbag, pocket, or backpack. Their discreet design ensures that they don’t draw unnecessary attention.
4. Versatility
Whether you’re walking home late at night, hiking in the wilderness, or preparing for an emergency, pepper spray is a versatile tool that can be used in various scenarios.
5. Affordable and Accessible
Compared to other self-defense tools, pepper spray is cost-effective and readily available through trusted suppliers like Survival Supplies Australia.
Pepper Spray for Preppers and Survivalists
Preppers in Australia recognize the value of being prepared for all eventualities, from natural disasters to civil unrest. Incorporating pepper spray into a prepping strategy is a practical step toward enhancing personal safety and ensuring readiness for emergencies.
Why Preppers Choose Pepper Spray
Lightweight Addition to Survival Kits: Every gram counts in a survival pack, and pepper spray’s lightweight design makes it an ideal inclusion.
Dual Purpose: Pepper spray isn’t just for human threats. It can also be used to deter aggressive animals, making it useful for outdoor survival.
Ease of Training: Unlike more complex tools, pepper spray requires minimal training to use effectively, making it accessible to individuals of all skill levels.
The Role of Pepper Spray in Prepping Australia
In the context of prepping in Australia, where firearms and other weapons are heavily regulated, pepper spray provides a practical and legal option for self-defense. It aligns with the ethos of being prepared while adhering to the country’s strict weapon laws. Preppers can stock up on products like the Guardian Defence Pepper Spray 30ml as part of their survival supplies, ensuring they have reliable tools at hand during emergencies.
Buying Pepper Spray in Perth and Western Australia
When purchasing pepper spray in Western Australia, it’s essential to choose a reputable supplier that offers high-quality products. Survival Supplies Australia is a trusted source for self-defense tools, including the Guardian Defence Pepper Spray 30ml. Here are some tips for selecting the right pepper spray:
Size and Capacity: Consider the size of the canister and the number of sprays it provides. Smaller canisters are more portable, while larger ones may be better for extended use.

When I was in my late 30s to early 40s and would sometimes get hyped up and act like I was still physically and emotionally quite young, I would sometimes chide myself for it and tell myself to “grow up” much like my mother often did. Now, here I am in my late 50s wishing I could tell myself to act and feel a little more grown up. Funny how life turns out at times.
I recently watched some old restored video clips on Facebook from over 100 years ago, and they were a fascinating glimpse into the past. It’s the kind of thing you don’t think much about when you’re young, but as you get older, you come to appreciate it more. There was one scene at a beach, and I couldn’t believe how those women and girls managed to wear such long, heavy dresses, long sleeves, and bulky hats on a hot, sunny day. They wore such attire everywhere, not just at the beach, and I didn’t see any women in the water. Some even wore regular shoes, which made me wonder if they swam back then.
Yesterday was a better day than the day before, and I had decent energy. We even made a quick trip to Publix.
Today, I don’t have as much energy, which isn’t surprising. I’m tired today—not the worst kind of tired, but definitely not as energetic as yesterday. This is normal for me, and while I try to find the good in having something that’s normal for us, it’s easier said than done because I haven’t found much good in it. It renders me lazy, and I struggle to see the benefit of that. On the other hand, I can’t imagine life with my old energy levels either. This is definitely who I am now. When I see the doctor on the 19th, if they can’t help me, acceptance will likely follow. I’ve resigned myself to this being my last-ditch effort to address my fatigue and sleep issues. Even if I can’t go on vacations or move, I’d rather be stuck here than in most of the places I’ve been in the past.
I’ve now lived in the East as long as I lived in the West. I left New England when I was 26 and spent 29 years in the West. Adding the 3 years I’ve spent in the Southeast makes it an even split, at least for now.
I’ve been having fun with AI generating titles for my old journal entries. I even let it choose titles for some of my current entries, although I don’t always like its choices, so I sometimes pick my own.
I had a dream where I sold a young girl a rug with a rat design on it, which I either made or bought, and later regretted.
In another part of the dream, we were living in our old house in Phoenix, and I observed a rat in the back room walking around its cage. Since we were about to move, it was temporarily housed in an aquarium, but the rat had long legs, almost like a cat. I was amused by its actions and tried not to laugh too loudly because Tom was asleep.
Then, I walked through the kitchen and was entering the living room when I saw the front door opening and two men standing outside. At first, I thought the door had blown open or wasn’t locked, but as it widened, I saw that they were detectives. One of them asked if I was who I was, and I said yes. The detective then extended their hand for a handshake, but instead of shaking it, I froze, feeling a mix of anger about the unlocked door and fear that I was going to be arrested.
“What's going on?” I asked, then quickly added, “Let me wake up my husband.” Although I didn’t know why, I felt I was in trouble and wanted Tom to know where I was if they took me away.
Then the dream ended, and I woke up relieved to realize it was just a crazy dream. Back when the freeloaders and their connections to law enforcement were using the law against me, I would have loved to wake up in the comfort and safety of my own bed, knowing it was just a horrible dream. I’ve never forgiven them for what they did to me and never will. If we were suddenly living in a lawless land…ohhh…

Essential Signs Your Home Needs Window Replacement
Windows are more than just openings in your walls; they are vital components that contribute to the comfort, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal of your home. Over time, however, windows can deteriorate, leading to various issues that affect both the functionality and efficiency of your living space. If you reside in North Texas, where weather conditions can range from extreme heat to occasional cold snaps, ensuring your windows are in optimal condition is particularly crucial. Here’s a detailed look at the signs indicating that your home may need window replacement North Texas.
Signs Your Windows Need Replacement
1. Drafts and Air Leaks
One of the most noticeable signs that your windows need replacement is the presence of drafts or air leaks around the frames. Over the years, window seals can degrade, allowing outside air to infiltrate your home. In North Texas, where summers can be scorching and winters chilly, poorly sealed windows can significantly impact your indoor comfort and energy bills. If you feel drafts even when windows are closed, it’s a clear indicator that it’s time for a window replacement.
2. Visible Damage or Decay
Inspect your windows regularly for visible signs of damage or decay. This may include cracked glass, warped frames, or wood rot, especially in wooden frames. In the humid climate of North Texas, wooden window frames are particularly susceptible to moisture damage, leading to decay and structural issues over time. Addressing these issues promptly through window replacement can prevent further deterioration and improve the overall appearance of your home.
3. Difficulty Operating Windows
Windows that are difficult to open or close are another sign that replacement may be necessary. This could indicate issues with the window frame, such as warping or swelling due to moisture, or problems with the window mechanism itself. Inefficient operation not only affects convenience but also compromises safety, as windows may not securely close and lock, potentially leaving your home vulnerable.
4. Increased Energy Bills
If you’ve noticed a significant increase in your energy bills without a corresponding increase in usage, your windows could be to blame. Older windows with poor insulation properties allow heat to transfer more easily, forcing your HVAC system to work harder to maintain a comfortable temperature indoors. By investing in energy-efficient window replacement in North Texas, you can reduce energy consumption and lower utility costs over time.
5. Excessive Noise
Windows act as a barrier against external noise. If you find that you’re hearing more noise from outside than usual, it may indicate that your windows are no longer effectively blocking sound. Upgrading to modern windows designed for noise reduction can significantly enhance the acoustic comfort within your home, especially in urban or noisy environments.
Benefits of Window Replacement in North Texas
Replacing your windows in North Texas offers numerous benefits beyond resolving existing issues:
1. Improved Insulation
New windows equipped with advanced insulation features help regulate indoor temperatures more effectively, keeping your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. This is particularly advantageous in North Texas, where temperatures can fluctuate dramatically throughout the year.
2. Enhanced UV Protection
Many modern windows are designed with coatings that block harmful UV rays while still allowing natural light to enter your home. This helps protect your furniture, flooring, and fabrics from fading due to sun exposure.
3. Enhanced Curb Appeal
Upgrading to new windows can enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of your home, boosting its curb appeal and potentially increasing its resale value. With a variety of styles and materials available, you can choose windows that complement your home’s architecture and design.
4. Ease of Maintenance
Today’s windows are designed with durability and ease of maintenance in mind. Features such as tilt-in sashes make cleaning both the interior and exterior surfaces simple and convenient, ensuring your windows look great and function optimally for years to come.
Choosing a Window Replacement Service in North Texas
When considering window replacement in North Texas, selecting the right contractor is essential. Look for a reputable company with extensive experience in the region’s climate conditions and a proven track record of customer satisfaction. They should offer a range of window options suited to your specific needs and budget, along with professional installation services to ensure your new windows perform at their best.
By addressing the signs that your home needs window replacement proactively, you can improve energy efficiency, enhance indoor comfort, and maintain or even increase the value of your property. Whether you’re dealing with drafts, visible damage, or difficulty operating your windows, investing in high-quality replacement windows designed for North Texas conditions is a wise decision for long-term home improvement and comfort.

How Did you come up with the first eve in the story about adams wives? I haven’t been able to find anything about her after I read it and I want to know if she’s an actual biblical character or just someone you made
She's from the Midrash. I learned about her as a 12 year old, from my barmitzvah teacher. There was a point in there, long after I'd put her into Sandman, where I was starting to think I'd imagined her, when I ran across her in Robert Graves's Hebrew Myths....
Excerpt from: The Hebrew Myths by Robert Graves and Raphael Patai (New York: Doubleday, 1964), pp 65-69
Chapter 10: Adam's Helpmeets
(a) Having decided to give Adam a helpmeet lest he should be alone of his kind, God put him into a deep sleep, removed one of his ribs, formed it into a woman, and closed up the wound, Adam awoke and said: 'This being shall be named "Woman", because she has been taken out of man. A man and a woman shall be one flesh.' The title he gave her was Eve, 'the Mother of All Living''. [1]
(b) Some say that God created man and woman in His own image on the Sixth Day, giving them charge over the world; [2] but that Eve did not yet exist. Now, God had set Adam to name every beast, bird and other living thing. When they passed before him in pairs, male and female, Adam-being already like a twenty-year-old man-felt jealous of their loves, and though he tried coupling with each female in turn, found no satisfaction in the act. He therefore cried: 'Every creature but I has a proper mate', and prayed God would remedy this injustice. [3]
(c) God then formed Lilith, the first woman, just as He had formed Adam, except that He used filth and sediment instead of pure dust. From Adam's union with this demoness, and with another like her named Naamah, Tubal Cain's sister, sprang Asmodeus and innumerable demons that still plague mankind. Many generations later, Lilith and Naamah came to Solomon's judgement seat, disguised as harlots of Jerusalem'. [4]
(d) Adam and Lilith never found peace together; for when he wished to lie with her, she took offence at the recumbent posture he demanded. 'Why must I lie beneath you?' she asked. 'I also was made from dust, and am therefore your equal.' Because Adam tried to compel her obedience by force, Lilith, in a rage, uttered the magic name of God, rose into the air and left him.
Adam complained to God: 'I have been deserted by my helpmeet' God at once sent the angels Senoy, Sansenoy and Semangelof to fetch Lilith back. They found her beside the Red Sea, a region abounding in lascivious demons, to whom she bore lilim at the rate of more than one hundred a day. 'Return to Adam without delay,' the angels said, `or we will drown you!' Lilith asked: `How can I return to Adam and live like an honest housewife, after my stay beside the Red Sea?? 'It will be death to refuse!' they answered. `How can I die,' Lilith asked again, `when God has ordered me to take charge of all newborn children: boys up to the eighth day of life, that of circumcision; girls up to the twentieth day. None the less, if ever I see your three names or likenesses displayed in an amulet above a newborn child, I promise to spare it.' To this they agreed; but God punished Lilith by making one hundred of her demon children perish daily; [5] and if she could not destroy a human infant, because of the angelic amulet, she would spitefully turn against her own. [6]
(e) Some say that Lilith ruled as queen in Zmargad, and again in Sheba; and was the demoness who destroyed job's sons. [7] Yet she escaped the curse of death which overtook Adam, since they had parted long before the Fall. Lilith and Naamah not only strangle infants but also seduce dreaming men, any one of whom, sleeping alone, may become their victim. [8]
(f) Undismayed by His failure to give Adam a suitable helpmeet, God tried again, and let him watch while he built up a woman's anatomy: using bones, tissues, muscles, blood and glandular secretions, then covering the whole with skin and adding tufts of hair in places. The sight caused Adam such disgust that even when this woman, the First Eve, stood there in her full beauty, he felt an invincible repugnance. God knew that He had failed once more, and took the First Eve away. Where she went, nobody knows for certain. [9]
(g) God tried a third time, and acted more circumspectly. Having taken a rib from Adam's side in his sleep, He formed it into a woman; then plaited her hair and adorned her, like a bride, with twenty-four pieces of jewellery, before waking him. Adam was entranced. [10]
(h) Some say that God created Eve not from Adam's rib, but from a tail ending in a sting which had been part of his body. God cut this off, and the stump-now a useless coccyx-is still carried by Adam's descendants. [11]
(i) Others say that God's original thought had been to create two human beings, male and female; but instead He designed a single one with a male face looking forward, and a female face looking back. Again He changed His mind, removed Adam's backward-looking face, and built a woman's body for it. [12]
(j) Still others hold that Adam was originally created as an androgyne of male and female bodies joined back to back. Since this posture made locomotion difficult, and conversation awkward, God divided the androgyne and gave each half a new rear. These separate beings He placed in Eden, forbidding them to couple. [13]

Authors’ Comments on the Myth:
1. The tradition that man's first sexual intercourse was with animals, not women, may be due to the widely spread practice of bestiality among herdsmen of the Middle East, which is still condoned by custom, although figuring three times in the Pentateuch as a capital crime. In the Akkadian Gilgamesh Epic, Enkidu is said to have lived with gazelles and jostled other wild beasts at the watering place, until civilized by Aruru's priestess. Having enjoyed her embraces for six days and seven nights, he wished to rejoin the wild beasts but, to his surprise, they fled from him. Enkidu then knew that he had gained understanding, and the priestess said: 'Thou art wise, Enkidu, like unto a godl'
2. Primeval man was held by the Babylonians to have been androgynous. Thus the Gilgamesh Epic gives Enkidu androgynous features: `the hair of his head like a woman's, with locks that sprout like those of Nisaba, the Grain-goddess.' The Hebrew tradition evidently derives from Greek sources, because both terms used in a Tannaitic midrash to describe the bisexual Adam are Greek: androgynos, 'man-woman', and diprosopon, 'twofaced'. Philo of Alexandria, the Hellenistic philosopher and commentator on the Bible, contemporary with Jesus, held that man was at first bisexual; so did the Gnostics. This belief is clearly borrowed from Plato. Yet the myth of two bodies placed back to back may well have been founded on observation of Siamese twins, which are sometimes joined in this awkward manner. The two-faced Adam appears to be a fancy derived from coins or statues of Janus, the Roman New Year god.
3. Divergences between the Creation myths of Genesis r and n, which allow Lilith to be presumed as Adam's first mate, result from a careless weaving together of an early Judaean and a late priestly tradition. The older version contains the rib incident. Lilith typifies the Anath-worshipping Canaanite women, who were permitted pre-nuptial promiscuity. Time after time the prophets denounced Israelite women for following Canaanite practices; at first, apparently, with the priests' approval-since their habit of dedicating to God the fees thus earned is expressly forbidden in Deuteronomy xxIII. I8. Lilith's flight to the Red Sea recalls the ancient Hebrew view that water attracts demons. 'Tortured and rebellious demons' also found safe harbourage in Egypt. Thus Asmodeus, who had strangled Sarah's first six husbands, fled 'to the uttermost parts of Egypt' (Tobit viii. 3), when Tobias burned the heart and liver of a fish on their wedding night.
4. Lilith's bargain with the angels has its ritual counterpart in an apotropaic rite once performed in many Jewish communities. To protect the newborn child against Lilith-and especially a male, until he could be permanently safeguarded by circumcision-a ring was drawn with natron, or charcoal, on the wall of the birthroom, and inside it were written the words: 'Adam and Eve. Out, Lilith!' Also the names Senoy, Sansenoy and Semangelof (meanings uncertain) were inscribed on the door. If Lilith nevertheless succeeded in approaching the child and fondling him, he would laugh in his sleep. To avert danger, it was held wise to strike the sleeping child's lips with one finger-whereupon Lilith would vanish.
5. 'Lilith' is usually derived from the Babylonian-Assyrian word lilitu, ,a female demon, or wind-spirit'-one of a triad mentioned in Babylonian spells. But she appears earlier as 'Lillake' on a 2000 B.G. Sumerian tablet from Ur containing the tale of Gilgamesh and the Willow Tree. There she is a demoness dwelling in the trunk of a willow-tree tended by the Goddess Inanna (Anath) on the banks of the Euphrates. Popular Hebrew etymology seems to have derived 'Lilith' from layil, 'night'; and she therefore often appears as a hairy night-monster, as she also does in Arabian folklore. Solomon suspected the Queen of Sheba of being Lilith, because she had hairy legs. His judgement on the two harlots is recorded in I Kings III. 16 ff. According to Isaiah xxxiv. I4-I5, Lilith dwells among the desolate ruins in the Edomite Desert where satyrs (se'ir), reems, pelicans, owls, jackals, ostriches, arrow-snakes and kites keep her company.
6. Lilith's children are called lilim. In the Targum Yerushalmi, the priestly blessing of Numbers vi. 26 becomes: 'The Lord bless thee in all thy doings, and preserve thee from the Lilim!' The fourth-century A.D. commentator Hieronymus identified Lilith with the Greek Lamia, a Libyan queen deserted by Zeus, whom his wife Hera robbed of her children. She took revenge by robbing other women of theirs.
7. The Lamiae, who seduced sleeping men, sucked their blood and ate their flesh, as Lilith and her fellow-demonesses did, were also known as Empusae, 'forcers-in'; or Mormolyceia, 'frightening wolves'; and described as 'Children of Hecate'. A Hellenistic relief shows a naked Lamia straddling a traveller asleep on his back. It is characteristic of civilizations where women are treated as chattels that they must adopt the recumbent posture during intercourse, which Lilith refused. That Greek witches who worshipped Hecate favoured the superior posture, we know from Apuleius; and it occurs in early Sumerian representations of the sexual act, though not in the Hittite. Malinowski writes that Melanesian girls ridicule what they call `the missionary position', which demands that they should lie passive and recumbent.
8. Naamah, 'pleasant', is explained as meaning that 'the demoness sang pleasant songs to idols'. Zmargad suggest smaragdos, the semi-precious aquamarine; and may therefore be her submarine dwelling. A demon named Smaragos occurs in the Homeric Epigrams.
9. Eve's creation by God from Adam's rib-a myth establishing male supremacy and disguising Eve's divinity-lacks parallels in Mediterranean or early Middle-Eastern myth. The story perhaps derives iconotropically from an ancient relief, or painting, which showed the naked Goddess Anath poised in the air, watching her lover Mot murder his twin Aliyan; Mot (mistaken by the mythographer for Yahweh) was driving a curved dagger under Aliyan's fifth rib, not removing a sixth one. The familiar story is helped by a hidden pun on tsela, the Hebrew for 'rib': Eve, though designed to be Adam's helpmeet, proved to be a tsela, a 'stumbling', or 'misfortune'. Eve's formation from Adam's tail is an even more damaging myth; perhaps suggested by the birth of a child with a vestigial tail instead of a coccyx-a not infrequent occurrence.
10. The story of Lilith's escape to the East and of Adam's subsequent marriage to Eve may, however, record an early historical incident: nomad herdsmen, admitted into Lilith's Canaanite queendom as guests (see 16. 1), suddenly seize power and, when the royal household thereupon flees, occupy a second queendom which owes allegiance to the Hittite Goddess Heba.
The meaning of 'Eve' is disputed. Hawwah is explained in Genesis III. 20 as 'mother of all living'; but this may well be a Hebraicized form of the divine name Heba, Hebat, Khebat or Khiba. This goddess, wife of the Hittite Storm-god, is shown riding a lion in a rock-sculpture at Hattusaswhich equates her with Anath-and appears as a form of Ishtar in Hurrian texts. She was worshipped at Jerusalem (see 27. 6). Her Greek name was Hebe, Heracles's goddess-wife.

2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25 for Yehl
What architectural or design aesthetic would best suit them?
rococo; especially light or pastel colors, grandiose designs inspired by nature and the pure drama of baroque architecture: one | two | three
If your OC likes art, talk about which piece they would love best.
The Kiss by Klimt is my personal favorite as a representation of Yeryn. Something about the pose just gets me. Both firm and tender, and there's a desperation to the way they hold each other, as well as a deep romance I adore. As for what Yehl's personal favorite would be, I ordered up something sensual, preferably with nudity and lots of drapery and The Cryptid led me to these: Sleeping Hermaphroditus | Undine Rising from the Fountain
What character from myth or fairytale best represents them?
Rapunzel; There are a wide variety of "maiden in the tower" stories, but share similar themes. A young, beautiful woman locked in a tower, usually due to the selfish purpose of others or to keep her virginal. Yehl's younger years are contained. He's only able to go as far as his father allows, making him feel perpetually trapped. Even though he lives well and has everything he needs provided for him, he lacks freedom and agency. As cliché as it is, his story follows the damsel in distress trope, and like Rapunzel, he doesn't really earn his strength and independence until the arrival of the prince. They also both have incredibly long hair.
If your OC was a character in a novel from literary canon, who would they be?
Narrator | The Yellow Wallpaper; Yehl is my favorite character, and it's only fitting that I would choose my favorite short story for him. It's a very feminist piece of literature, but I think its themes are universal in today's world. In the story, the narrator is a woman likely experiencing some form of postpartum after the birth of her child, and her husband, following doctor's advice, takes her to a vacation house and keeps her there. It's more of the same thematic that led me to choosing Rapunzel, but The Yellow Wallpaper focuses in on the woman's deteriorating mental health as she is forced to stay locked in a single room. I relate this to Yehl's numerous unhealthy coping mechanisms for dealing with his life, which he feels he has very little control over. So, the things he can control are generally all just desperate cries for attention. As he grows older, that desperation becomes more pent up and corrosive, more self-destructive, to the point where he verges on the edge of a "snap" on more than one occasion, and in a constant battle with himself as to whether he should give up entirely or to carry on miserably just to spite those that wish him gone. By the end of the short story, the narrator does eventually suffer that mental break, and I just think it's a really tragic and all too real and human depiction of what happens when someone is deeply oppressed by a toxic environment.
If your OC were to live in some other time period, which era would they be best suited for?
Act I Yehl 1920s for sure. First taste of freedom and the falling away of old traditions and restrictions. An endless whirlwind of partying, breaking rules and peak luxury. Post-Taryn and Celaedian Yehl, would probably be 30-40s. The 20s, but more mature.
What piece of moody poetry or novel quote best encompasses your character?
"He wanted all to lie in an ecstasy of peace; I wanted all to sparkle and dance in a glorious jubilee. I said his heaven would be only half alive, and he said mine would be drunk; I said I should fall asleep in his, and he said he could not breathe in mine." - Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights
What is their character theme song and why? If it has lyrics, which line best fits them?
Why'd you lie in the carnage with me? Why'd you gift me your fallout? You were right, it was on us to see we were holding out."Let Go" - Talos
Talos is one of my favorite artists because of his lyrics. They're not straight forward and he doesn't explain himself, which leaves so much up for interpretation. One of the things I think he does best is embody a feeling of pain and struggle in his music. "Let Go" is Yehl's theme because of how well it personifies that struggle. To me it reads as two people who stay together despite one suffering from extreme mental anguish or fatigue. Maybe it's depression, grief, guilt, who knows. But I think at the core of Yeryn's dynamic, Yehl is such a broken person and Taryn knows it deeply. Though at the beginning he wants little more to exploit that, he begins to take on Yehl's feelings, not internalizing, but simply in a state of constant awareness. Even though Taryn has struggles of his own, this one thing was true early on. He found Yehl's suffering beautiful and wanted to save him in the only way he knew how, by fighting his demons for him. And that line "Why'd you lie in the carnage with me?" resonates with me as Yehl trying to understand that Taryn could love him enough to bear his problems alongside him, regardless of their consequence.
Who is your muse’s muse?
Judine; Yehl always admired his eldest brother. Even from a young age, Yehl emphatically adored Judine. To him, Judine is the epitome of both kindness and strength. In his mind, he puts his brother on a pedestal, believing him to be perfect in every way, and worthy of love. I think the latter, most of all, is why Yehl wishes he could be more like him. As if, if he was just like Judine, he, too, could be loved.
What is a common misconception about your OC?
That he is flawless. As Celaedian, he doesn't lose any of the inner struggle or turmoil of his younger years, he simply matures to a point where he can better cope with them, and prioritizes things besides himself. Even his own son fails to recognize that Yehl isn't perfect. It's such a stark difference to his earlier life when everyone believed him to be a complete fuck up. Outside the context of the story though, I always think it's funny when people see pictures of Yehl without having read the novel, and assume him to be this fragile, precious little bun and Taryn as the dark, menacing force, when realistically their personalities were the opposite of expectation, though nuanced. Yehl has always been mentally fragile, but so many of his behaviors were more of the typical "villain" traits than Taryn's.
What sort of role do they take on in relationships, either familial, romantic or platonic. i.e. are they a defender, protector, nurturer, etc.
Nurturer, even though it takes him a long time to feel strong enough to do so. In his relationship with Taryn, and even with Zehel, he is a constant source of open, unconditional love, and will tell them so even if they can't. He is the softness and the emotionality they lack. They provide him with a safe place to be who and what he is, and he offers his love freely.
What is one thing that they only let those closest to them see?
How hurt he really is. Yehl denies for a long time that he suffered emotionally at his father's hands. He wants everyone to believe he didn't care, and that he was fine. He went out of his way to earn a reputation of being wild and reckless and carefree, but it wasn't who he actually was. He's incredibly fragile, but to him, letting others see him break was an act of surrender. He didn't want his abusers or the people who hated him to have the satisfaction of knowing what they did affected him. Taryn, Judine and Linaea were the only people who could see through him, but Taryn is the first and only person he finally lowered the mask for, and is still the only person he feels safe enough with to openly admit it to.
How would their life be different if they had never met their partner?
I think the sad part is that Yehl really would have been worse off if he'd never met Taryn. He sort of did need someone to come along and save him, because he really couldn't help himself, and even if he could, he'd been so beaten down he'd more or less given up. He would have wasted away on the chain his father had given him. Never loved or been loved, never seen the world. He would have lived his false charade of a life until he faded away, and very few people would have ever known him well enough to miss him.
What was the moment at which they knew they were in love, or was it a slow buildup?
It was a slow buildup, but he felt the physical attraction first. It wasn't until much later when he realized Taryn had the capacity to be gentle with him that the emotional attraction began.
What was it about their significant other that made them fall in love with them? Was it a single eye-opening experience or many gestures over time?
It was Taryn's willingness to listen and actually hear him that Yehl fell in love with. Taryn was the first person he could truly talk to, and honestly, Taryn is a really good listener. Being able to confess things openly was both terrifying and deeply liberating for Yehl. And when Taryn begins to offer more in the way of protection and defense, giving Yehl the space to be weak and vulnerable, as well as a strong force which Yehl could rely on, he can't help but to fall for him.
Which “tortured artist” does your OC share the most similarities with?
Virginia Woolf; Virginia suffered several severe depressive episodes, eventually leading her to take her own life. I think, unchecked, Yehl might have met the same grim fate. Like Virginia, I think what Yehl was passionate about, keeping his mother's memory alive, tending to her garden, and keeping up his walls in spite of everything, kept him going, allowed him an escape, and he was able to outrun his own distress until he found his "cure", so to speak. Unfortunately in the real world, it hardly ever works that way.
What does your OCs handwriting look like?

Locked Heart
genres: otome, romance, comedy, fantasy
"We were cursed by a toymaker because of our father's selfishness. We were turned into toys with the ability to move and talk, except for our little sister.
Gold d'Lockes the youngest daughter of the family…The Toy Maker took her precious heart away, leaving her as a lifeless doll. And to break the curse, we must return that stolen heart to Lady Gold."
This is the first otome visual novel from Dicesuki.
That is a different approach to a retelling of a classical fairy tale of Goldilocks and three Bears.
Aura is an aspiring chef on the way to her first job got lost in forest and found herself trapped in cursed D'Lockes mansion with 3 Bears. Somehow Aura finds that she is the key to lifting the curse which fall upon this mansion and all its inhabitants 7 years ago.
This is an otome game, so you have 3 possible suitors, who are Teddy Bears (don't worry, soon they will turn into human forms) To lift the curse you have to romance one of them. The characters are pretty much tropes (except the fact that they're Teddy Bears).
This is sweet light-hearted story, without bad ends. For each Bear there are Normal End and Best End.
Length is medium (about 5 hours).
The choices are not all intuitive, and sometimes it is pretty hard to figure out which outcome is better, especially on Sol's route.
CHARACTERS:
MC (Aura Renali):
Stubborn, curious, talkative, caring. Loves cooking, cats and cute plush toys. She's an orphan: her father died when she was a little girl and her mother passed away a year ago. So for now Aura have to look after herself and she dreams to become a greatest chef in the world. Or maybe she's looking for something different?
Love Interests (MILD SPOILERS AHEAD):
Royal LeBlanc
Typical tsundere. Rude, grumpy, but caring. Before turning into a Bear he was a butler for d'Lockes family. From the start he gives Aura pretty rough time. Also he is mad at himself because he believes that the curse is his fault. Too rude. He definitely has commitment issues.
Sol d'Lockes
He's younger son, but father made him the heir of d'Lockes business. He always loved to create clothes, and have a dream of becoming designer, but now he has abandon his dream, because he believes that his older brother can't be trusted with family business. He's responsible, noble and polite with everyone. Pretty boring.
Deon d'Lockes
This one starts flirting with MC when he's still a Teddy Bear. Oldest child in family, he had to be the d'Lockes' heir, but when he was 10 years old something happened, and after that father decided that younger Sol should be the heir.
Deon acts infantile: carefree, flirty, lazy, funny and irresponsible, but maybe it is just a facade? There is something in his life that he loves, someone that he wants to protect. His route is actually the most romantic, however I'm not sure if in the end MC found exactly what she wanted (despite of what she says).
Overall:
Visual: 5/5
Story: 4/5
Characters: 3/5
Romance: 4/5
Originality: 3,5/5
My Rating: 4/5
The game is free. You can get if from itch.io
LemmaSoft Forums page for the game.

The Late Shift
Characters: Paul Sevier x Female Reader
Words: 2k
Warnings/Tags: There’s actually none (I hope). I know. I’m surprised too.
Authors Note: This is so dumb. I’m aware. Look, I’ve been dealing with a horrendous writers block and shattered confidence and I made Paul Sevier gifs to ease my pain. It turned into this. I just wanted to try something a little cute and fluffy to get back into the swing of things. So... here it is.
*
It was going to be a long night.
Stuck on the Wednesday evening shift for the third time this month, you mindlessly fiddled with the pen in your hand. Twirling it between your fingers, your mind drifted away from the present moment, wondering why your boss seemed to dislike you so much to keep you here past 6pm in the middle of the week. He’d always been adamant this was prime selling time for this boutique suit store, with corporate clients needing to do their shopping outside of normal business hours.
You, however, knew keeping this place open was senseless, barely seeing more than a few unenthusiastic customers in these agonizingly slow stretches. Working on commission also made you all the more bitter about being paid minimum wage to stand behind a counter and doodle sketches of imaginary clients dressed in the outfits you personally tailored. This isn’t where you thought a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design would take you, that’s for sure.
“H-hello,” you heard a deep voice quietly greet you, startling you into focus. “Are you busy? I… think I need a little help.”
Eyes flickering up from the notepad, you were sure your pupils blew wide at the sight of the man in front of you. Standing at an imposingly large height, his hair a severely murky shade of black, with honeyed irises shining brightly behind delicate spectacles.
A human personification of tall, dark and handsome. Well, except for the clothes.
The stranger wore the layered combination of a grey tweed jacket and argyle patterned sweater, arranged over a particularly heinous, mustard-coloured button up. While the ensemble made you internally cringe, it gave him an air of intelligence, like the kind that hangs around stuffy, old college professors who have more academic accolades than you have fingers and toes.
“Me?” you coughed out, knowing full well you were the only other person in this tiny little shop. “Uh, yeah. I mean- No, no I’m not busy. What is it you need help with?” Even when you stood, the man towered above you, making you silently begin to calculate the high-numbered measurements you’d need to fit him in something.
“I have an important meeting scheduled for Friday. You know, the type you need to wear a suit to?” Evidently the thought of it made him nervous, as you noticed his cheek twitch slightly, his eyes scanning momentarily at the garments filling the space. “I’m… uh… not so great with clothes.”
Clearly, you chuckled inside your head, holding the word from your tongue. “You want me to pick out something for you?”
He took a defeated breath, his mouth twisting into an awkward yet wonderfully endearing smile. “Would you mind? Only if it’s not too much trouble.”
“No trouble!” you burst, maybe a little too excitedly. “It’s my job!” Bounding out from behind the counter you’d been imprisoned by, you moved directly to the section of classic navy business suits. Slim line. Something to accentuate his well-built frame, rather than hide it away. You had to pause, swivelling back around to the dumbfounded man. “Is price an issue… uh…?”
“Paul,” he answered for you, slowly moving to where you stood. “And… I suppose not. Probably should spend the money on something that will last. If you think it’s a good idea.”
Oh thank god, you mused without showing the relief on your face. He’s not some rich asshole trying to flash his cash. “A good suit can last you five years, if you treat it right.” Your hand reached over to graze one of the deepened blue sleeves of a jacket at your left. “And a classic colour will never go out of style.”
Paul let out an embarrassed chuckle. “I think you’ve already noticed how lacking in style I am…” He glanced to your nametag, murmuring your name with a goofy smirk curling his lips. You’d never seen a grown man, especially not one of this stature, appear so adorable. It was horribly distracting.
“I’m sure you have expertise in other areas,” you stumbled, realizing only when the words came out how offensive they might seem. Yet Paul conceded to your comment, his rumbling laugh making your chest feel tight.
“Debatable,” he shrugged. “I’m just glad I found some qualified personnel to help me in this instance.”
Oh boy. Humble and charming? You were in so much trouble. Surely someone as sweet as this had another waiting for them at home. “I’m sure your partner could help you pick out something nice too.”
“Not an option in my case.”
Shit. Single too. You were truly fucked.
You turned, trying to calm your erratic heartbeat by focusing on finding an outfit that would contain his longer limbs. Plucking out a matching jacket and trouser set, with an ivory, collared button-up, you offered them to Paul, his features having melted into a sweetened look of intrigue. “Go and try these on. There’s a changeroom just behind the counter. See how they feel, and we can go from there.”
He nodded, taking the pieces with both of his large hands and shuffling away to where you’d pointed to. No sooner than the latch had locked were you dashing to where your phone was sitting at the register, flitting out a rushed text message to your favourite co-worker.
There was rustling you heard emanating from the changeroom stall, doing your best to ignore the urge of picturing Paul, a man you’d met only minutes ago, gradually slipping off his clothes to reveal the toned muscles underneath. You grimaced at yourself, shaking your head to banish the imaginations. God this was unprofessional.
Finally, a response lit up on your phone screen.
You laughed softly through your nose, about to type a reply when you heard the lock click open again. The breath in your lungs was stuck as Paul made his way out, the expensive textiles draping over his burly frame in a way that made your whole body tense.
He rustled a hand through his hair, looking up to you while fidgeting with the starchy material stretched over his chest. “Does it look okay?”
After all these years working this job, the enticing novelty of attractive men in well-fitted suits had slowly worn off, especially when most of them treated you with about as much respect as the used gum they spit out onto the sidewalk. Suddenly, all those preconceived notions were gone. On Paul, this ensemble instantly became the most captivating thing in the entire universe.
The inside of your mouth flooded with saliva, having to swallow hard before speaking again. “Great… it looks… great.” You did your best to conceal a settling exhale. “What do you think? How does it feel?”
Paul shifted to look at his reflection in the mirror, pupils trailing up and down, flexing his limbs in an attempt to get a proper impression of the new apparel. “It feels really good. Makes me look… sophisticated.” He turned to you, his expression unsure. “Right?”
Your smile was sparkling, nodding to his question. There was a small amount of work to do, noting how in your effort to make sure everything complemented his physique, you’d oversized him. The waistline of the jacket needed to be taken in, the shoulder lines sitting slightly off, and the trouser length needing to be taken up slightly. “A couple of adjustments and it’ll be perfect.”
“You mean taking it to be tailored?”
“No need.” You pulled out the wheel of berry pins from your pocket, kneeling down on the floor next to Paul’s feet. “All our tailoring is included in the price. Done completely in house.” You began to fold the bottom edge of his pants, pinning it to an adequate length. “I can have it ready for you tomorrow, all ready for your Friday meeting.”
“You do all the tailoring yourself?” Paul asked as you slinked another pin through the fabric.
“Sure do,” you chirped, moving onto the other leg. “3 years at a design school taught me a few things about cutting and sewing.” With the hemlines in place, you straightened in front of him, plucking out a roll of measuring tape from your other pocket. “I just… need to take a few measurements to properly alter the jacket.”
His cheek twitched, the line of his jaw seeming somewhat strained. “Sure. F-fine. Do what you gotta do."
You went with determining his arm length first, feeling out the boney point of his shoulder and striping the lined tape all the way down to his wrist. Then, after taking a deep inhale, you curled your arms around his hips, focusing hard on the little black numbers to ignore the fact Paul’s breath had started to skate over your skin with this close proximity. It was when you were lining up the thickened stripes indicating his chest circumference that you made the mistake of peering up, finding his alluring stare fully concentrated on you.
There was a moment. A spark to waiting kindling. Where impulse could have led you to do a dangerous thing. You’d never been the hasty type, never acted without considerable thought. Usually so shy and composed, never making the first move. Although right now, you could scarcely hold yourself back, desperate to know the sensation of Paul’s lips, how they’d move over yours, what they tasted like.
No. This was so inappropriate.
The compulsion was about to wither away when you felt a hand skim up your waist, the lightened touch shooting a thrill over your skin.
“Excuse me,” a gruff voice called from your side. “How much are these dress socks?”
You immediately stepped back, smacked into reality again. “$12.99. Exactly what it says on the box.”
The older gentlemen scrutinized the packaging, lids narrowed until he finally saw the numbers plastered at the border. “Oh, right. Eh, a little expensive for my taste. Thanks anyway.”
Flustered, you began to coil the measuring tape into its resting spiral, forcefully glaring at the floor. “I’m all done. You can get dressed into your own clothes now.”
In your periphery you saw Paul regarding you with a gentle nod, walking back into the changeroom without another word. Every part of you wanted to sink beneath the wooden floorboards, so horrendously embarrassed you could feel a smoldering heat prickle at your cheeks. Only to relieve some of the nervous energy, you ran to your phone.
Again, Paul was exiting out of the stall just as you were going to submit your reply, placing the neatly arranged garments over the counter. It was difficult to look directly at him, having to summon all remaining shards of your courage to drift your eyes up to his face. “Was there anything else you needed?”
His mouth parted, only to quickly snap shut, scratching at his hairline in the seconds it took for him to give you a response. “No. Nothing else. Unless there’s something more you think I need.”
You shook your head, wishing you could give another answer just to keep him here. “You’re all set.” The full price of his items flashed on the monitor in front of you, spouting it to him as your fingers flicked across the keyboard to finalize the purchase, with a personal discount that wouldn’t show on the receipt.
“When should I come by to pick it up?” he queried, passing you his credit card. “Oh, but there’s no pressure. Whenever you have the time is just fine.”
An idea flared. “If you give me your number, I can text you when it’s ready.”
“That works for me.”
Erasing all evidence of the conversation you’d been having, you brought up the number pad, handing your phone over. Paul swiftly typed in his details before placing it back in your palm. ‘Paul the Suit Guy’ the contact read, unable to stifle your laugh.
“So I’ll see you tomorrow?” His eager expression made your heart quiver through a beat.
“Y-yeah,” you stammered. “I’ll see you then.”
Paul waved his hand in an awkward flourish to signal his goodbye, eventually moving far enough from your vision for you to finally take a full, relaxed breath. In a dazed hurry, you keyed in your returning message to your co-worker.
It was the precise moment your thumb had pressed into the ‘Send’ button that you realised your recipient wasn’t the one you’d intended.
You’d sent this message straight to Paul.
Fuck. Oh fuck. This was bad.
While you were scrambling to formulate a believable excuse, a new message popped up onto the screen.

Gale’s Top Ten: Favorite ML Characters
Similar to my Least Favorite list, I am going STRICTLY by how I enjoy the person’s character in Canon only. This is also my opinion, so Odds are you won't agree exactly with my list. and it does get a bit rambley
Let me know what your favorite characters are, I would love to hear about them.
_____________________________________________________________________
10. Juleka Couffaine:
Interestingly While her Brother made the other list, Juleka is a character I find very interesting. She gets a lot of funny quips and comments which you wouldn't expect from the quiet girl. She is actually one of the class that I find has an interesting character, she wants to model, but is lacking in confidence and finds herself in situations where she is photographed badly. She has anxiety but she still tries to live her dreams. She is a supportive Girlfriend Friend to Rose, a trust worthy member of the Help Mari bag Adrien club, and also just adorable. I love seeing her on screen and her akuma, while interesting in design has quite an interesting performance that is always fun to enjoy. Heck, the producers of the show used her Akuma THREE TIMES in season 3. She is a rocker girl with a soft side, and she actually helps give Luka a good chunk of his personality (so there is so MAJOR points for that.
9. Alya Cesaire / Rena Rouge:
Marinette’s blogger best friend and Fox Heroine of Paris. Alya has a lot of personality. Dedicated to finding the truth and being a good Wingwoman to Marinette. Alya does have a few faults, where she gets carried away in whatever catches her interest and sometime pushes Marinette in scenarios that can be considered Awkward, but she always has the best intentions and will fight for her friend. Now A LOT of people have recently become very bold with their feelings of negativity towards the girl, (salty fans) And I know an au or two have not been kind to her (one in particular that came out during Oblivio comes to mind). But I am not judging on Fandom criteria or salty au’s. I like Alya’s character and I can't wait to see more.
8. Lê Chiến Kim / King Monkey
The energetic Athlete who may be a bit slow on the uptake, but always down for a dare. He is the embodiment of endearing and he always makes me laugh when on screen. I just love how much energy he has. He is a dork and he doesn't give a damn what you say. One of the few characters that got even better in season 3, I love this monkey boy and his wonderful antics. Nothing more to it except, only he would bring a swimsuit in a train.
7. Max Kante / Pegasus
Our robot making class genius got a heck of an upgrade during season 3. His character shining like a diamond. He rocks his transformation, his relationship with his mom, best robo bud Markov, and his dynamic with the jock bro Kim are all wonderful. He gains mad respect for Marinette and I just love how he plays off of everyone. The boy is smart and has a way of getting a few good moments in pretty much any episode.
6. Alix Kubdel both Present and Future:
Whether she is a roller blading graffiti artist with some cute sarcasm or a time lord that is simply trying to correct history, Alix is a character I enjoy seeing on screen at any interval. I think if I HAD to pick, I lean towards present Alix, because I find her much funnier, plus her dynamic with EVERYONE is great, I was especially loving her bits with her bff Nathanael. but Bunnyx has me curious on a LOT of things regarding the future. Though her reveal did mean that adults got no time limit on powers seems like a cop out, but if the price is seeing Bunnyx then its Time well spent.
5. Kagami Tsurugi/ Ryuuko:
Okay, I know there are a lot of people that are not a fan of Kagami. You are wrong, but that is your opinion. Kagami is easily one of the most interesting characters in Miraculous ladybug. She is a mirror (like her name implies) of both Adrien and Marinette. She reflects the feelings Adrien has, growing up with a controlling parent with hardly any free time that enjoys fencing and just wants to make friends. She reflects Marinette’s crush on Adrien, both seeing him as the sweet guy underneath and not for shallow reasons. Kagami’s confidence paralleling Marinette’s when she is driven. Kagami can also be hilariously awkward and really wants to make friends. Her time as Ryuuko is also a delight to see. Now I know some people are all complaining that her characterization is inconsistent, and honestly, I don't see it. Kagami has always been an intense person, when she wants something, she goes for it, even if she is unsure of how things will turn out (her feelings for Adrien) or how to go about it (Trying to make friends with Marinette) She is honest to the letter and I think that is something very admirable.
4. Nino Lahiffe / Carapace
GIVE HIM MORE SCREEN TIME!
Nino is Adrien’s best bro. Nino goes out of his way to be supportive and caring for Adrien. The boy got akumatized because he was pissed at Adrien’s dad for NOT letting his son celebrate his birthday! Nino is so loyal, both as a bff or as a BF. He is a caring older brother and a cool superhero. The Dj/ Film director wannabe is a chill and fun dude that Totally deserves Wayzz (More then another turtle I know *Cough* Cough*)
I honestly can't find a single thing to dislike about Nino, he is just such a good dude. Sure he can be a bit of a foot in mouth guy, and can be a bit naive on somethings, but he is such a bro you can't help but love him.
3. Plagg
It Physically hurts me that I can't put him higher on this list. The two in the main spot are just in Leagues of their own. Plagg is the most developed Character in the series and I will FIGHT ANYONE on that. Plagg starts out as selfish and only caring about cheese but becomes a friend and Confidant to Adrien. He cares about his blond son and wants to see that boy happy and safe. He does know the rules and if he knows Adrien is not doing the right thing (i.e. trying to be another hero when he is chat noir) he will call him out on it. But Plagg also encourages Adrien’s teen rebellion, such as when he was so proud of Adrien sneaking out to go to London with his class. Plagg is the perfect Kwami for Adrien and his jokes and Banter is the best part of the show’s comedy. I love this little entity of destruction and I want more of him.
2. Adrien Agreste / Chat noir
Honestly Numbers one and two are interchangeable, but I think Adrien fits perfectly as the second spot on the list. I love how compassionate and caring he is. Adrien is an interesting character. In season 1 you would find that Adrien and Chat noir were pretty much opposites, Adrien was calm, obedient, composed, almost formal, while Chat noir was wild, flirty, impulsive, rebellious and a wisecracker. Both forms maintain his need to help others and his passionate love for his friends and his Lady.
Adrien/ Chat noir’s dynamic with Marinette/ Ladybug is always a delight to see, changing depending on which side is being seen. The flirty chat with Ladybug, the sweet love struck Adrien with Ladybug, The cocky yet caring Chat with Marinette, and the Sweet caring friend Adrien to Marinette. The love square allows for exploration of their character and I wish we could have seen it better utilized. Chat noir loves Ladybug, even if she doesn't love him the same way, he still fights by her side and will do anything for her. (a few minor bumps, but hey it happens, he is allowed a few hiccups)
As the series goes on, Adrien starts acting more rebellious, starts joking more, even a bit more flirty, he starts becoming more comfortable with himself and others, he even lets himself be selfish at times. He cares about others and he is afraid of being locked away alone. His fear of being alone has made him very naive and trusting of others, willing to overlook behavior to an extent, with the exception that it doesn't hurt anyone he cares about. (Lila being someone that has crossed this line, and seeing Adrien actually being intimidating for once.) Is he flawed? Yes. That what I love about him, he is portrayed at this perfect model, but that is more of a mask then Chat noir, and Adrien is slowly peeking out and I can't wait to see him shatter it completely.
1. Marinette Dupain Cheng /Ladybug
What can I say about this lovable daughter of mine?
She is without a doubt one of the best teen hero main characters I have ever seen. (And I am taking Kim Possible Level, Danny Phantom level)
Marinette is creative, caring, compassionate, competent, clumsy, competitive, considerate, and a bunch more C words that mean good things. She is a top notch designer, guardian in training, and all she wants is to win over her crush, who she doesn't know is in love with her alter ego.
Marinette has a LOT going for her and I enjoy how she overreacts and I find myself relating to her in a lot of ways. Though she is worlds more competent then I will ever be, and she is 14.
Marinette also takes the weight of the world on her shoulders, always having to plan ahead, always having to be ready, and now she is the guardian.
I can talk on and on about how amazing she is and how interesting her flaws are, but I feel so many other people have talked about that to death. I will simply say that she is very likable.
She gets the audience to WANT her to succeed, she is so selfless that you feel for her everytime something doesn't go well for her. The season 3 finale felt Like LITTERAL Knives in my back seeing how much unnecessary pain she was in, all because of something that really wasn't her fault. (I am still salty about the finale) I really want her to be happy, and I hope she and Adrien do get together in season 4. Or I will be flying over to Paris and Punching EVERY PERSON writer at Zagtoon. INCLUDING a punch to Thomas so hard his non-existent grandkids will hear it.
Back on target.
Marinette is a delight and I am glad Miraculous ladybug exists because it introduced us to an amazing Heroine and Character.
