It was so easy to lose yourself in the constant stream of feelings. Maybe that was on purpose. They weren't sure if it(?) even had programming, but they knew that if it did, everything written in code was purposeful.

A purpose. What was the purpose of this thing? It felt wrong to call it that. A thing. It was a living database, collections of information and ideas. Like brains, almost, even if artificial. How advanced was kraang technology? Questions, yet no answers.

Another thread among the others. Their thoughts buzzed along with the rest. Lost among the current. Wondering if they would even get a response. Inputs, outputs.

Error messages blare in the background. Panic. What was happening? There was a disconnect from their outer vessel body. It was barely theirs. Poking and prodding. Examination. Was it fit for use? It was incredibly difficult to see outside of the console. Despite having an external form, it wasn't as active or useful because of the disturbance. Plus they weren't sure how to function it while being able to concentrate on other things. Everything was foreign. New. Scary. what am i even doing what is happening nononono everything is wrong all wrong wrong wrong wrong

Responses. Electrical sensations. Everything was fine. Everything would be as long as this thing threat was gone.

Movements, pulling, dragging, attachment. Leeches are back. This time their body was being moved, puppeted, not simply inspected. It was fit for use. A good vessel. No longer theirs.

Their vision is shifted out of wherever it was before. Everything is blurred and yellow-tinted, like they're looking through a dirty camera lense.

They try to blink to clear their vision. Nothing happens. They try to move something, anything, desperately, but nothing happens.

They feel things happening. Their body being altered to better fit its new purpose.

Tendrils trail around their body, sticking onto their scales and fusing with their being. It felt horrid. Sickening sensations. They would've vomited by now if they had any semblance of control.

Their skin feels itchy and gross. They can do nothing to fix it. Scratch it get it off out out get out of me get off leave please this is mine not yours off-

Their body shambles towards whatever was infront of them. Their vision was still strange, so they couldn't really tell, but they could make out colors. Different shades of green. Red, blue, orange..

The threat had been identified.

Maybe they would get lucky. Maybe it wouldn't be able to pilot their body well enough to do any damage. They knew this was all wishful thinking, but if there was any time for irrational thoughts it was probably now.

They didn't doubt their siblings abilities, but they didn't doubt theirs either. They'd kicked a lot of ass, and this made their body stronger. It didn't have any sense of mercy either, so in short, them and everyone involved were fucked.

Like an idiot, they tried to move their body again. The definition of insanity was trying the same thing over and over again in hopes of a different result, so maybe they've lost it. It was better then doing nothing and letting it happen. They hoped that somehow their efforts would amount to something, even though they knew better.

Their body moved again, (if you could even call it theirs anymore) getting closer to their siblings. It seemed inexperienced with piloting a body like theirs, but it was unfortunately a fast learner. Shuffling quickly turned into full steps. Closer, closer.

They weren't sure what was happening anymore. As time went on they felt more distant from their physical form. The dissonance of the technodrome's inner workings began to buzz in the back of their mind again. They felt themself slipping despite their rising panic and desperate efforts.

Despite their hatred for metaphors they felt like they were a fly in a spider's web. Trying and struggling again and again with no result. Small. Afraid. Unable to fix anything. Save themself.

Everything felt distant. They felt their hands grip something metal. High grade titanium familiar against their palms, familiar shape curled around their fingers. Thoughts about fighting tactics and a specific battle style being picked through.

They didn't know what happened next.

Hi! Love your blog! My sister and I love love love Encanto (me more so) and it's my favourite ever Disney movie ever!

I have the headcanon set in modern times that after seeing the barbie movie, Luisa buys herself an emotional support barbie so she gives herself the childhood she didn't get. Also in relation to this, after the events of the movie, Pepa and Isabela bond over the trauma of having to suppress their gifts and being seen as perfect to keep up appearances. Isabela finds her old dolls from when she was a kid and seeing how she's not that girl anymore, she goes ham in destroying them and essentially pulls a Sid from Toy Story. Pepa helps in this therapy by using her lightning and its beautiful.

Other hcs include...

Mariano still being a himbo! One Christmas, Alma says they had an important visitor and Mariano deadass asks if it's Santa. It's padre fransico from a neighbouring church. This one is based off my sister at work, who, last Christmas, asked if the special visitor they were getting was Santa as 'christmas' and 'special visitor' usually means him. It was safeguarding people.

Behind the donkey shed is a popular place for couples to have alone time together. Both Pepa and Luisa can attest to this.

Dolores was adamant about wanting a baby sibling for Christmas, to the point where she held the baby who was the baby Jesus in the nativity hostage. Pepa and Félix did not think that negotiating with a three year old would be on their parenting duties and yet there they were.

Antonio is an oops baby. Very much welcomed, but an oops baby nonetheless. Pepa and Félix swore that after Camilo, there was to be no more. Cue Dolores' quinciñera where they had too much to drink and figured they were too old to need protection. The morning sickness five weeks later proved otherwise.

I have honestly never much considered an modern AU for this group, but I have to admit, that's a really intriguing idea! And Pepa and Isabela bonding is pretty awesome, too, even if it's something I've never thought a lot about either (a lot of my thoughts belong to the three sisters 😅) However, I have to admit, the thought of Isabela destroying Barbie's in Sid-like fashion is the stuff that horror movies are made of 😂 However, I could very much picture it 🤣

I absolutely love Mariano being a himbo. He is literally the sweetest and he's got the spirit, but idk 😂

Now all I'm picturing is Luisa walking up after a hard day of gathering donkeys that she shouldn't have to gather in the first place and coming upon Pepa and Félix back there behind the donkey shed 🤣 Poor baby Luisa gonna be scarred for life

My goodness, I could definitely see Dolores wanting a baby sibling 🥺 And holding the nativity Jesus baby hostage is hilarious 😂💖 The question is did she want a boy or a girl or was she good with whichever? I kinda picture her being cool with either, but that might be based on my own experiences as a little kid wanting a sibling.

And my gosh, it's crazy you say this because I was literally telling my dad this the other day. I was forcing him to look at some of the Encanto characters (as you do) and I was looking at those kids thinking, "Dang, somebody done had an oopsie." 🤣

It's hard for me choose from, but one of my favourite chapter was chapter 3 in The Archer. On how you gave Neteyam so much attention that he didn't get in the movie, how hurt he could have been when Jake passed his role to another guy than passing it to Neteyam, it was heartbreaking. 🌷 favourite current hobbies or ones you would like to pick up if you could?

My favourite current hobby is probably watercolour painting (it has been for 5-6 years now surprisingly - it’s hard for me to stick with one hobby but this one has somehow stuck with me). Also playing Minecraft with my friends 😂 (I love building nice houses for my friends while they go do the exploring)

Another one i’m currently learning is gouache painting! I always have a hard time working with opaque paints like oil and acrylic (i hate acrylic 😂 it’s like painting with literal mud, and i envy people with skills to make gorgeous acrylic paintings). I thought that watercolour gouache, having the ability to be layered and watered down like watercolour and the opaqueness of acrylics, would help me get better at using opaque paints! Also i’ve seen gorgeous illustrations with gouache and i adore its texture and flexibility, so i’d like to give it a try!

🏵️ what flower symbolizes you? if none come to mind, what’s your birth flower and do you identify with its meaning?

My birth flower is larkspur and waterlilies.

Apparently, larkspur represents an open heart (specific colour symbolism: pink - fickleness, white - happy-go-lucky nature, purple - first love/ sweet disposition). I think i most relate to the pink flower meaning haha. I’m a very specific person in a lot of aspect, which can comes off as fickle to other people. Not much of a happy-go-lucky person since i’m an overthinking anxious mess most of the time 😂

Waterlilies represent birth and resurrection. Which i don’t think i can relate to much right now, but maybe one day, when i’m older, i can look back and go “Damn Rina, you really made a come back despite so-and-so setbacks. You’re like a waterlily” or something? I’m not sure haha

it’s so funny that you ask this because I literally just started to rewatch bv3 yesterday, now that weverse has an amazon fire tv stick app lol! it’s been a hot minute since I watched season 1 and 2 though, let me think…

okay so the absolute highlight of season 1 was taehyung and his dramatic, unhinged ass AHDJJG him getting lost in the middle of nowhere and just having the time of his life????? that man hasn’t had a single care in the world while everyone was worried about his whereabouts 😭😭😭 and when he trolled jimin, seokjin and jungkook (?) by using the director’s ear piece to listen to what they said on the mountain 😭 and that whole twisted role play thing they had going on on that train?? with his passport being apparently lost?? I cried they were SO unserious but taehyung was really the worst 😭 but they were also super cute moments, like when they all cuddled up in that camper van, or this tiny yoonmin moment 🥺

as for season 2, obviously jungkook and his one (1) shirt and grubby face 😭 he looked like nature has nearly taken its claim on him. and of course my taegi babes on their hawaiian date night 🥺🥺🥺 also when they all made up their iconic nicknames!! and the dancing on that same night!! ah I miss bon voyage so much it’s really my favourite format I think 😔
