Not saying I disagree bcs this completely and ofc is the anon's opinion and I totally see where they came from but I'm just saying this because almost no one points this specific characteristic that geeb have in his stories and its been driving me up to the wall. Lemme start cooking

OK geeb has mentioned how he did jist put romance just for the sake of the algorithm and I can totally see why people would use this as an argument against the anon's thought, but I think the specific romance that the anon thought of is like yk romance kiss kiss hold hands cuddles and snuggles typa romance BUT there is types of romances that geeb writes that doesn't technically shows like 'omg love at first sight let us do the tongue dance'

Let's start with the most popular, albus and faithful. Honestly I love this ship but I'm so glad that they're not a couple (yet? Idk) because it's written so well and realistically. Like no way u telling me u expected albus to fall for faithful right away after he turned into a demon and gaining his freedom even tho HE NEVER LEARNED HOW TO PROPERLY LOVE WITHOUT FUCKING (as shown in the non canon ending) This might not be count as a 'romance' but it falls under an umbrella category of romance as these 2 characters showed and had shown some romance tendencies once in a while, despite not being so obvious.

We got Zed and guardian here too. Even their ship falls under the category of romance, despite not getting together in the end. Zed had shown some little puppy crush to Guardian, but Guardian, obviously still wracked with grief and still is mourning over her husband, can't feel the same way but changed that for all the wrong reasons, which is why it is better for them to not get together in the end. This particular ship started with giddy romance and all but then ended with bittersweet kinda angst.

I think the most romance ROMANCE we gonna get are just Makkaro and Darling, Yargwynn and Paradise. Both are canonnically dating and have a good happy ending for them. Like both of them displayed goofy romance moments and angst breakup moment and their chemistry together? Chefs kiss.

I rlly do get where the anon is coming from, but I think not alot of people points this specific type of romance writing techniques that geeb has and tbh this type of romance are rlly just for specific audience and I can respect that. All in all, geeb DOES writes romance, but it will play put realistically that matched the characters' mentality and the situation of the environment yk??? Today has been a very stressful day, so guess wtf time it is? Drunk Breaking Dawn Pt. 1. Here is what I soberly remember of the movie (I have not watched it since BD2 came out):

Ya know for all your activism nature, I'm surprised you like hazbin hotel considering the discourse of but the creator being prej6and the pilot having a lot of stereotype jokes

The show is a show. The creator and animators worked hard on it. Its something they're passionate about.

Its not the best thing, but it still made me laugh a few times and I like going through frame by frame to look at the animation details. The detail is amazing. Like, Alastor's shoes have deer hoof prints! That's cool!

Also, the show takes place in Hell. The characters are all horrible people. And its interesting. To have protagonists who are all shit. And the show's premise is about whether they can change and become less shit. I like the idea of that, of bad people realizing that they can become better. I hope they do change and get better as the show goes on, dunno where it's gonna go at the moment but *shrugs* it kinda feels to me like they're all in Hell anyway so they aren't even trying to be good people anymore, since they've already hit rock bottom. But despite that, Vaggie seems to really care about Charlie and Angel actually felt an iota of guilt for making Charlie sad. There's a spark of something decent buried under there, I'm curious about watching that grow over time, if it does.

As for the stereotype jokes, meh? If you mean Angel being... Well, the way he acts, it felt to me like he was putting on an act, a persona that he made for himself when he landed in Hell and decided to embrace sin. He even mentioned about how he didn't want people thinking he'd gone soft. That, to me, sounded like someone who's going out of their way to try and uphold a persona, like he uses his sexuality and promiscuity as a weapon and a shield against the awful world he has to live in. Or even possibly as a way to fit in. Who knows, all I have to go on is one episode and some character notes revealed by the creators. But I'm curious enough to want to know more.

And Alastor's canonnically ace. You almost never see that. He's also a horrifying eldritch monster who murders others but I'm a huge fan of Bill Cipher soooooo maybe I just like insane villian characters.

I tried looking up the discourse to try and see what the fuss was about. And this looks pretty damn bad.

But here's the thing. When I was a kid, I was a huge fan of Rurouni Kenshin and Buso Renkin. I even cosplayed Papillon once for an anime con. And, I found out that the creator was a pedophile. If it was just drawings of children who didn't exist and therefore weren't being hurt by there being made up images of them, that's one thing, but he was found with pornography of real children. I was really upset, I felt betrayed. But, that doesn't make me hate the anime/manga he made. They were still important to me, helped me through some bad times when I was younger. Hell, Papillon is a villian who's in love with the main character and the main character didn't mind. He didn't find Papillon gross or disgusting for his interest or his behavior (the only thing he had an issue with was the murder, duh) and that straightforward acceptance, even if he didn't return Papillon's affections, really meant a lot to me. What I'm trying to say is, the creator was an awful person, but the things he created still had a positive impact in my life.

There's so many awful things happening nowadays, and I'm angry about so many things. But Hazbin Hotel is just a show, made by a bunch of people who just really wanted to make something fun. And the creators might not be good people, but I just want to enjoy a show. Is it wrong to just want to enjoy something and not stress out over everything wrong with it?
