re: prev reblog also i keep thinking about how the reader is explicitly Meant to infer other crimes going on in the background that bunny wont narrate for us. he straight up TELLS US in the intro for the second of only two outright burglaries he ever writes up, that countless other crimes are happening but not worth writing about. and obviously thats about the Main Crime on the surface level but it feels notable to me that we are Intended to a) pick up on extra background criminal activity and then b) disregard it as either not publishable or not interesting

When I first saw Palpatine being referred to as "Sheev", I thought it was like a fandom joke or something. The name sounds like the word "shifty" or something, which is his character: a shifty bastard who deceptively took down an entire civilization and replaced its government with his tyranny. To me, Palpatine was one of those people who always went by one name, ever; he had no other name.

But no. His name is Sheev.

Sheev Palpatine.
