QSMP Sign Languages HCs (Eggs)

I like to think that besides the spoken languages the eggs also know the respective sign languages of their "first" (mainly used) language (but it also has exceptions which I'll all list)

A list to illustrate what I mean:

• Pomme - LSF (Langues de Signes Français/ French Sign Language)

• Richas - LIBRAS (Língua Brasileira de Sinais/Brazillian Sign Language)

• Empanada - ASL (American Sign Language)

• Sunny - BSL (British Sign Language)

• Pepito - LSM (Lengua de Señas Mexicana/Mexican Sign Language)

• Dapper - ASL

• Tallulah - BSL (getting close to fluency in LSM)

• Chayanne - BSL/LSM (is teaching Tallulah as well as himself)

• Leonarda - LSM

• Ramón - ASL

Chayanne and Tallulah are the only pair currently left that has active parents that speak two different languages, that's why they are fluent (or almost) in two. Chayanne at first was learning LSM with a bit of flase hope of Missa coming back and Tallulah got roped into it, but now Missa is back so it paid off.

Every single egg also tries to learn some basic phrases of the sign languages different from theirs.

They're mostly used for communication between the eggs but the parents are also learning the language of their respective children.

Please tell me if I got something wrong, I'm not that familiar with sign languages in general

I love QSMP it genuinly means so much and is so dear to me how ground-breaking and connecting QSMP is. I've watched DSMP - they all spoke the same language, and there were only two different time zones on the server and yet I feel like the beautiful and familial connection that occured between boarderline all of the QSMP members (all of different languages, cultures and countries) happened between maybe a handful of members whom were all already from the same country. It's just breath-taking how human connections and friendships can transend such giant parts of who we are.

Who’s your favourite MLB character?

Marinette, hands down.

Marinette isn't a bad character. She messes up, makes mistakes, that doesn't make her a bad character.

I can't really say she's a bad person either. I like how she isn't a classic "Mary Sue" usually when I watch series and read books the main character is a Mary Sue but I like how fleshed out Marinette is and how you can clearly see her development throughout the series although the writers like destroying and resetting it.....

Marinette has insecurities, flaws, and she has made mistakes....but Marinette has also overcome and took on alot��of challenges obstacles that help her grow as a person and develop as a character

Her intelligence, creativity, courageous, integrity, ingenious, and captivating.

However......

The narrative punishes Marinette for everything, even things that aren’t her fault, even things that aren’t bad.

the narrative tends to coddle Adrien while bashing/humiliating Marinette. It’s harder to get on Marinette’s case because she’s often trying but she’s “doomed to fail,” whereas Adrien gets rewarded for his bad behavior in episodes like “Syren”. Then there’s Adrien getting to ride his high horse and be the one to tell Marinette what to do/how to feel (but the show will also have him behave in certain ways and excuse it because “he’s sheltered/naive/doesn’t know any better”) while Marinette is always in the wrong.

Adrien takes his father's book? It's excused because well "he didn't know any better! etc etc), Adrien lies to Theo about his and Ladybug's relationship due to jealousy? Marinette's the one apologizing and no one calls him out. Glaciator, although he's in the wrong for being an asshole towards her because of a date she didn't attend as if she didn't say she wouldn't be able to, she's the one who has to apologize to him in order for him to get out of his feelings.

You can like something and acknowledge it’s flaws.

You can like a character and admit that they aren’t a good person.

There’s a difference between being a good person and being a good character.

Adrien Agreste is not a good person. The writers want us to believe he is, because THEY think he is, because THEY think his behavior is acceptable, but it’s not.

He is not a good person. You cannot sexually harass women and be a good person. You cannot do the things he does and be a good person.

I could not exist in this fandom without calling out this bullcrap. This is a children’s show and THIS is the moral they’re trying to teach.

This fandom is misogynistic as fuck and the reason for that is the show is a misogynistic as fuck.

Marinette needs a new, competent writers, and a better show where she's able to freely express herself and actually form healthy relationships.

I'm tired of seeing Marinette be humiliated and ridiculed on screen for humor's sake, it's not satisfying it's old, repetitive, and annoying.

I'm tired of the writers portraying Marinette as this bashful, anxiety ridden, clumsy girl who can't get anything right while Adrien is Mr. Perfect despite all the horrible shit he's done and gotten away with.

Pairing: Theodore Knott/Harry Potter

Theodore Knott shoved the restaurant door open and bolted inside. He crammed past the people waiting for a table and bounded over to the table in the back. Slamming his hands on the table, Theo glared at the witch he’d been looking for. It’d taken him four hours to catch up with Harry Potter. Everyone he talked to gave him false leads. Theo was tired of chasing after her.

“Caught you,” he panted.

Theo sat across from her and grabbed an extra plate. He liked Italian food more than French but he was starving. He finished Auror training hours ago and then immediately started his hunt after Draco mentioned Potter's Patronus. Theo still couldn't conjure one.

Theo smirked when Potter didn’t order him to leave. She was probably used to people randomly showing up. He swallowed his food and loaded another plate.

Potter was different than he remembered. Her hair was longer than school, and she looked more confident. She was attractive. Theo mentally smacked himself. He wasn't here for a date. He needed help.

“No… please, have more of my dinner,” she dryly said.

He squinted, trying to see if she was joking or being serious. He shrugged and continued to eat. Training was rigorous work and he wasn't going to starve when there was perfectly good food in front of him.

“Do you normally order this much food?”

“Ron was supposed to show,” Potter admitted after a few seconds. “Apparently he bailed on me.”

“Which means that you have no plans tonight,” Theo crowed. Maybe it would be easier to convince her than he thought. Surely a bored Potter would jump at the chance to teach someone. She had lead the DA after all.

Potter frowned and leaned on the table. “I could have—yeah I don’t.”

“I figured. Weasley and Granger are like your only friends. Kinda sad, if you ask me. Just saying.” Theo held up his hands defensively when Potter glared at him. “Anyway, since you’re not busy, will you teach me the Patronus Charm ?” Theo pleaded. She had to. She was the only one he could ask.

"Why me? And don't give me the bullcrap answer of me teaching the DA in school."

Theo took a deep breath. "Because your life sucked. And you can still cast the spell. I'm a Nott. We're not so different, you and I."

When Potter remained silent, Theo sighed. He knew it would be difficult convincing Potter to help, but he'd hoped they were over the disaster of their school years. “One week, that's all I'm asking. If I can't do it, I'll buy you dinner as an apology for wasting your time."

Potter stared at him before grinning. “One week, huh? Fine. If you fail, I get free food."

"And if I don't fail?" Theo asked. He knew he was pushing his luck at this point, but Potter had agreed to an almost date.

"Guess you'll have to wait and see. Put that Slytherin charm to good use."

Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Explanations, Opinions and Requests

As someone who read 5th edition and played VTMB1, I have some opinions to share.

Several members of the intelligence community have uncovered some nasty shit going on in the world at the onset of the War on Terror. After a while some anaylsts uncovered the shtick that will change the game of hunting forever. They tore through SchreckNet and saw everything and formed FIRSTLIGHT. Also known as the Second Inquisition. Then they cleansed Vienna and London of Kindred by way of drone strikes and Rainbow 6 Siege-style assaults.

It was so horrifying that the Camarilla decided to return to old-style messaging communication i.e. Fallout 4 dead drops. Yes that means no internet or cellphones. Otherwise CIA or MI6 will find out.

They also decided to only include the elite as members of the Camarilla. It did not sit well with a homie named Theo Bell. He and his Anarch gang decided to fight the sect and even managed to kill Hardestadt (duh spoiler it's in the book read it maynn). It caused a rift that caused the Anarchs to become their own force.

The Elders are disadvantaged to the youngins for the first time, as a mysterious thang known as the Beckoning have called these Elders to go to the Middle East to take part in the Apex Legends tournament as something is calling them. It's a calling force of some sort. The ones that called them. The clan progenitors probably (probably not stated in the book).

The Sabbat are a shadow of their former selves. They consolidated almost every of their size going to the Middle East for something related to the clan progenitors.

Meanwhile in cities worldwide (Western world duh, I don't think vamps will be interested in Southeast Asia lol) neonates are taking charge of stuff left behind by Elders. The modern nights are the era of neonates now (the book literally said it).

Meanwhile thind bloods are moving to the 16th generation. Weak it is. They used to be prejudiced and killed due to some bullcrap prophecies like Gehenna. But now, heh, everyone is busy fending off Kindred rivals or making sure Captain Price and his band of operators are not following their asses for them to even care about the thin bloods.

Takeaways and theories for Bloodlines 2 (as to stress the importance of 5th Edition to its story):

•The player char is said to be thin blood. Weak you know, but not only the 5th edition provided ways to ascend to "normal" conditions, it also states that everyone else is busy hiding from Captain Price or fending off rivals (only few elders because Beckoning maynn) to even care about small nuisances. You can probably get away of turning VTMB2 into Metal Gear Solid sometimes with these above facts. In fact being thin blood is probably the safest status due to the newly-inststed cover of irrelevance.

•Of course this also means war. If Captain Price and his band of operators kill powerful vampires better than seasoned veteran hunters, that can put a significant losses of undead population that mass embraces are becoming widespread among everyone that is not the Sabbat. Desperate times lads and lasses. The player char is one of the unlucky ones.

•Said thing also created blood shortage problems. Of course. It's bound to happen in a world filled with few elder vampires to hold the reins. That's that Blood Trade happened. More food for FIRSTLIGHT then. I've played many hardcore games to know how such deals end.

•Variohs factions are said to reimagine playing Apex Legends fighting over blood and territory. This is why being a thin blood is IMO probably advantageous in this situation. As the metaplot states, every Kindred are distracted by rival or the FIRSTLIGHT to even worry about weak Kindred. The thin bloods now are nothing but background noise that no one cared about. IDK how this plays out in the upcoming game though.

•I bet vampire hunters probably have a more important role than before. FIRSTLIGHT changed the game after all. We should expect hunters/special ops equipped with weapons setups more commonly found on battle royale games due to this.

•Elders might not probably not as powerful as before. As metaplot states, they are more careful now, otherwise they are free chicken dinner for a hunter or fall to their undead rivals. IDK how this is represented in the game.

who do you hate more? theo or peter kdksks i love peter but feel free to drag him thru filthhhh

naaah next to theo peter is like a paper cut that won’t go away. but to get real, cuz i actually was thinking about this earlier, i think there’s a few main reasons i’m more likely to forgive a character like peter rather than theo (i need to think about it this way instead of like.. who would i rather murder... cuz otherwise i get lost in some dark shit).

okay so number 1: peter has a traumatic backstory that gives him a bit more depth to empathize with (just the visual flashbacks were already tenfold that of theo’s backstory, and emphasized over multiple seasons). not that theo doesn’t have a traumatic backstory or that peter wasn’t also responsible for the death of a young girl in his adolescence/young adulthood (idk how old he was supposed to be in 3x8 but he’s a few yrs older than derek right?) and the death of his own sister, but we don’t have enough information to conclude that theo was forced or coerced or brainwashed into killing his sister or anyone else. peter has always been a narcissistic and psychopathic character with plenty of layers and various motivations and goals. theo had one: destroy scott’s pack. why? who even the fuck knows. which leads me to

number 2: peter spent many seasons weaving his way in and out of scott’s pack. he tried very hard to kill scott, even worked with kate (just gonna throw in here that the argents were EXCELLENT villains, and i would even pick gerard over theo tho his voice is super irritating), but you know what? that was his PURPOSE. he was supposed to be the big bad throughout. that was season 4s big reveal before meredith. peter and scott had a fully formed arc that went up and down and ended on a high (even tho i would have preferred the stand off to be between peter and scott rather than gerard what kinda bullcrap was that season anyway), and i think we were better able to appreciate the complexity of their relationship. theo spent his whole season manipulating deceiving and eventually killing scott, and honestly the earth swallowing him up would have been the perfect way to end his story line. mason even told us in 6x20 that he still didn’t have good intentions. after all that he STILL couldn’t take someone’s pain. what was the point of him that whole season anyway. number 3: theo destroyed the relationship that meant the most to me on this entire show. his existence destroyed the sciles fandom and polarized every scott and stiles fan on this website. my favorite writers abandoned ship, rifts the size of chasms broke open between real friends, real people, and the writers never even tried to fix it (don’t give me that road trip heart to heart crap it was too little too late).

this wasn’t supposed to turn into a peter hale lovefest so please don’t read it that way i still hate that douche XD but i’d rather take him to lunch and massage his feet than look at theo for more than one second.

Bro I genuinely love q!Roier and q!Jaiden's relationship. They're both the parents of the same child, but they're not in (romantic) love and they've never been and never will be but they still care about eachother SO MUCH and they still support eachother and they will forever love eachother as friends and fellow parents and I just love it. It's just peak, purely platonic love and I fucking love that for them. Even after their child, technically their only emotional connection, died, even after q!Roier got merried and they moved far away from eachother, even after they got sent to Purgatory and were separted to different teams q!Roier was still ready to spill Bads blood for killing Jaiden at her spawn and that's so precious to me. Honestly I kinda don't get why we distinguish f!Cell/q!Cellbit and not q!Cell/q!Cellbit since we already have the different nicknames to know which is which

So I think that a good change would be to switch to q!Cell when we're talking about the Cell that is canon to QSMP and f!Cell when talking about Cell that is only canon to Fuga Impossivel since there are quite signficant deifferences between them like:

q!Cell: ate Pac's leg, met Bad before Alcatraz and escaped the island (since now he's on Quesadilla Island)

f!Cell: didn't eat Pac's leg (I'm pretty sure that detail was added later on to the canon but during QSMP so according to Fuga Impossivel it never happened), never met Bad (I don't know 100% because I didn't watch it ngl) and he technically might have as well died on that island

And these are basically key points in q!Cellbits backstory
