(ok so this is probably a spoiler but) for martini, mercy, and freerun, is this a game? like,,, is martini just in vr, or is freerun trying to set a record? also related: do any of them have any game mechanic stuff? like reloading/respawn (probably not), grenade jumping, noclipping?

For Martini and Mercy: Nope! While I do love my HLVRAI's that are canonically accurate, I adore Not A Game AUs all the more. As for Mercy, I just think his character hits harder if he's just... some guy. Just built like that. (This would only really be a spoiler if it were true, but it's not so you do not have to worry!!) For Freerun: Yes and No. Not in like a maybe sort of way, but more like Schrodinger's Cat. He both is and isn't. partly because I can't decide and partly because I don't want to. I think either concept is incredibly interesting, so I'm trying to leave it vague so that you as an audience can decide for yourself. Game Mechanics: Depends on the mechanic, but a lot of them actually WILL be implemented. When I find the right moments anyways. Mercy will be using grenade jumping (and explosives in general) religiously, Freerun might get some noclipping moments (though I also might just leave that to our noclipping king), and fun fact about the respawn/reloading stuff! I sort of did have a plan to use that (not sure if I will but it was in the notes originally), but not for any of the characters you have listed :) ((Also one final side note: Thank you for the fun ask!! I don't mind the ones that ask for clarification or anything, but ones that get me talking about the story are very fun!! Also don't be afraid to ask things you think are spoilery, I will simply work around that!)

everything's all fine and dandy in a fight against killer (no it isn't) until you see him glitching around and somehow phasing through your attacks. he looks ridiculous but it gets the job done

pm!c!Sam is in this really weird place of like, c!Dream is the only thing he remembers from Before. He has literally nothing else. And c!Sam doesn't do well without some kind Anchor or purpose. He got too used to having something to define himself around.

Clearly, it must mean something that he remembered Dream. It must be important and not happenstance. Even if c!Dream doesn't remember him, that's fine, because c!Sam remembers him and that's enough. c!Sam remembers his center world was centered around c!Dream at one point, and he takes comfort in going back to that.

But the fundamental problem is that the whole structure around the prison, the whole narrative of c!Dream being the villain doesn't exist anymore. c!Sam has this overwhelming desire for c!Dream to be something in a way he has no right to expect from another person.

And like- c!Sam isn't the same person he was around the time of the prison. He has no moral justification framework for taking away any of c!Dream's agency. If he was asked point blank "hey, should c!Dream be allowed to leave you behind he wanted to?" he'd be sad but of course he'd agree.

The problem isn't the direct questions, it's all the little instinctive moments, when he isn't even thinking about what c!Dream wants because why would he? It's not in his nature to do that. There's also little instinctive impulses to contain that c!Sam is reading as protect. That he just. Won't. Interrogate. He just follows them.

So the end result is that c!Sam is just like, weirdly possessive over c!Dream and does NOT understand reasonable boundaries, all while having no spine whenever he's challenged about any of it. Dude is getting bullied by teenagers 24/7. BUT then he gets to sniffle and act very sad and downtrodden and of course c!Dream will agree to caving with him to make him feel better, and now c!Tubbo and c!Tommy are kicking themselves because this is the Worst outcome (they will do it again).

So my isat au-- that I don't have a title for just yet but-- My isat au, featuring Odile in pain, love her! Basically, the general gist of it is: What if Odile loops au but during the Act 5 moments, ended up dying after the family members got to her by the King battle cuz of her abusing the power of Craft and it just ran out so she ended up Supposedly dying. But she didn't. And instead finds herself back in that same shop.

Sooo... in that au, nothing much changed with the wishes from canon, everyone wished the same things Except instead of the Universe granting Siffrin the power to make that wish come true, they brought the spotlight to Odile. Odile is trapped in a timeloop she doesn't even know Why she was in it, especially when her wish was just a simple coin toss. It takes a long while for her to get enough info to suspect Siffrin but whenever she tries to confront em bout it, she gets dodged every single time. It also doesn't help that Siffrin Doesn't remember the loops (also in my au, Siff is still the one person able to read the books from The Country, however... he first needs to die from the King's attack, the next loop would temporarily equip them with a memory that allows them to read books from The Country, Odile doesn't like doing that).

No changes with Loop too, aaannd so we get back to the prologue of sorts of it. She was boutta turn to stone, but she ended up looping! That has lasting effects. First off, the current loop she now finds herself in after That Whole Ordeal, is a lil different, for one thing, no one remembers the previous loop, Including Loop themself. But they Feel that Something Is Wrong. Siffrin feels it especially strongly, he thinks that he had a nightmare and had to just Find Odile Immediately. The others felt as though Something Bad happened to Odile too but can't quite place the feeling of it other than being strangely worried and anxious bout her. When Odile went to Loop, Loop started teasing her about the whole "hurting your family members" thing during the start of Act 5, that's all they remember from that loop. So Odile was just: "I died." And Loop gonna be: "Well! I guess the others didn't reach you in time then, who in their right mind would take on the King all alone--" "No. They reached me, but I died. I wasn't supposed to loop." The two had a long discussion bout that, she'd spend the entire loop there but had to spend the rest of the day with the others with how worried they looked.

Also the lasting effects of the previous loop is: Odile was lvl 99 when she died, she's still lvl 99 in the new loop BUT it counts down per loop. The lower it gets, cracks form on her body. So now she has only 99 attempts left. She needs to get out of the loop then.

initially they just wanted to steal his symbol to fuck with them, but when that had no affect on him like it had on the other aifp points, they got bored, and smashed the symbol on the ground, then left her alone

since then, theyve been free, roaming around and fucking shit up to their hearts content

Oh man MHA sure is trying to make the audience like and feel for Endeavor.

The level of complexity going in with the moral grey area is great! Love that in a show! But dude I'm never gonna like that guy.

I can definitely see he's changing and while I love a good "Everyone can change, even the worst people" storyline, it's not gonna make me like him.

"But you're a Bakugou stan, aren't he and Endeavor basically the same??" Nope! Bakugou didn't let himself go NEARLY as far down that road as Endeavor did! While his treatment of Izuku was inexcusable, it wasn't unforgivable. (This is entirely due to Izuku too, had he actually stepped off that roof, Bakugou would have jetson'd straight to super hell with Endeavor for me, he got lucky in this regard) But he learned the error of his ways and put in the work to change before it destroyed the lives of everyone around him. (Wish they'd teamed this with the understanding that his own home life was not great and was causing some of his behavioral issues but that's a lot to expect out of the same dude who cannot seem to stop introducing amazing female characters only to immediately assassinate them)

I'm sorry but like....do y’all have any idea how much abuse it takes to drive two people insane??? It could have ended up being three, or possibly four without Midoriya's influence. Shoto was very close to his own tipping point at the beginning of the series, and even acknowledges how close he was to breaking. If he'd lost it, I don't think Natsuo would have been far behind.

So while I appreciate the story's dedication to showing multiple facets of its characters, and I absolutely love the development going on there, I'm probably never going to actually like Endeavor. Too close to home.
