Ok but for real tho my heart broke for y/n and everyone involved. Nobody was a bad person, it was just a situation where heartbreak was inevitable. But like, at least toji still has someone, but y/n lost everyone. And poor Megumi, just a kid, but he hates seeing someone he loves leaving and the guilt he feels for something that’s not his fault—

That ending was perfect though, because like, the most unlikely element to this angsty, sorrowful story is GOJO, the human furby with a larger than life personality, making an appearance, and yet it’s weirdly perfect?? Does gojo know right away that y/n is the one? Does he approach her right away while she’s discussing her breakup with her ex (an objectively bad decision but one that is also in character w him). How does their relationship start? How do they grow closer and fall in love?? Sorry for bombarding you with questions!!

megumi, himself, would know what it meant losing you. he may be young and his mom may have returned, but when neither of his biological parents were there to take care of him, you filled in the spaces.

megumi may not be your blood but you loved him as dearly, and no one will ever take that from megumi.

satoru would not know you are the one, mostly because he does not know what love is. no one’s ever taught him what love is or even showed him love.

friendship is different because, yeah, he wants to hang out with you the same way he feels for suguru and shoko but he doesn’t want to smash his lips on theirs. i mean he experimented with them, sure, but he never felt such a strong pull as he does with you.

his heart had beat so fast when he saw you, but he doesn’t know why. and when gojo satoru doesn’t know what the fuck is going on in his body, he does what any normal person wouldn’t do: he goes to the damn hospital.

suguru tells him he’s got a crush but gojos don’t get crushes (they’re not allowed to) so satoru doesn’t listen to him and visits the doctor. suguru and shoko are there for support (and to tell him “i told you so” when the dr marks his heart burn as love sickness), and as always, suguru and shoko are right and satoru’s wrong.

satoru, in all his shining white haired menace glory, doesn’t know how to cope.

but that’s fine. it’s to his stumbling affection that you both relearn what love is. together.

ok but back to answering your ask:

￫ when he met you at the diner, he actually does approach you. it’s more of a “hi, what’s your name?” situation that kickstarted his crush.

￫ he usually lacks social cues (blame the way of his upbringing) but he’s also not dense. he knows you and toji are going through something.

￫ also, shoko and suguru are his voices of reason. they help him through his feelings for you.

to be honest, i was going to leave how yn and satoru’s relationship started to the readers but here’s a vague rundown of what i imagine (it doesn’t have to be this way, it’s just what i think happened):

￫ after the scene in the diner, it takes a month before you two meet again. you meet at the cafe close to jujutsu high.

￫ it was afternoon, satoru’s classes have long ended and his friends have departed for the day when you came in, eyes studying the shop in amazement.

￫ satoru freezes from where he sat, throat immediately parched even as he’s sucking on his milkshake.

￫ you meet his eyes. for a moment, satoru’s afraid that you wouldn’t recognize him but then you send a smile his way and satoru feels sweetness flood him whole. it was far better than all the desserts he just devoured.

￫ you were about to walk to a different table when satoru beckons you to his. when you sat down and exchanged greetings, he helps you order. it’s a secret menu option, one that you absolutely liked.

￫ he asks you why you’re in the area. you tell him you were just looking around, but in reality you were there because you do not want to go home and you do not want to return to the diner. satoru knows you are lying but he does not probe.

￫ this is how you guys start meeting. once a week, you come to the shop, smiling every time you see satoru waiting for you.

￫ sometimes suguru and shoko are there, sometimes it’s just the two of you. either ways, it’s always fun hanging out with satoru.

￫ once, satoru asked if you want to do something else other than eat at the cafe, but he’s still in school and you do not want any scandals or issues so you say no. satoru reluctantly agrees, thus you two spend the year in the tiny cafe, trying out all their menus and secret menus.

so you see, life with satoru was mundane but not boring. he craved normalcy (craved what it is to live just to live, and to love just to love) and he found it in you. the humanity coursing though your veins ground him, and satoru realizes that he’s never felt more alive until he met you.

in a prev ask, i answered that this is how you will know you are in love. and you will not regret confessing to him.

I was asleep in my apartment, it was around 3AM when I awoke to a crash. "Huh what the hell?" I sat up and looked around. It wasn't from my apartment. Then another crash, It sounded like it was coming from across the hall. I let out a slight gasp as I realized who it was, Bucky. We had become good friends within the time we lived across from each other and I knew a bit about his past and how he was prone to intense nightmares. I got out of bed and ran to his door knocking a few times before sighing and letting myself him. Surprised he didn't lock the door but I guess with his skill in combat you don't really have to. 

When I entered the room I saw Bucky standing up, Breathing heavily. I looked at him with a concerned expression. "Are you ok..?" he whipped around to look at me, his face read as he clearly had been crying for some time now. He sniffled and quickly wiped his face. "You should go, I don't wanna hurt you by mistake." He cautioned "Bucky, I'm not going anywhere until I know your alright." I slowly approached him. "You know you can talk to me, I'm not gonna hurt you or judge you" I said to him softly. "It was just a nightmare...I'll be fine..." He sighed. As I reached where he was standing in the middle of the room and without even thinking I pulled him into a tight hug.

He just froze at the hug, Not saying anything, Not moving an inch, Nothing. We just stood there in total silence for a moment. "Bucky I-" before I could ever finish speaking he just crumbled. We both slowly fell to the floor as he wrapped his arms around me and began sobbing once again. He buried his face into my shoulder and after my initial shock wore off I slowly rubbed his back lovingly. I let out quiet and sweet shushes trying to relax him and get his sobbing to slow down so I could ask him what happened. After his breathing calmed and his sobs turned to little bits of tears I asked him "Do you wanna talk about it?" He nodded softly before sitting up and looking down at me. "So, tell me about the dream" I requested softly.

He took a deep breathe "It was...about what happened with Hydra."

DREAM FLASHBACK

Bucky's POV:

I could hear the chatter of Hydra agents but I was unsure of what they were saying. I assume its about me but I couldn't make out any words. My vision was blurry but I could still see the figures of people moving around the room. I tried to move but I couldn't. It's like I was paralyzed. But I could still feel the restraints around my ankles and wrists and I felt the sharp pain of them putting a needle into my arm. I wanted to yell and scream in pain but I couldn't even make a noise. They closed the machine over my head and I could feel the cold metal pressing up against my skull. This was such a miserable feeling.

I closed my eyes and attempted to calm down and ignore the pain but I could not. But after a moment the pain stopped and the feeling of the restraints went away. I opened my eyes and I was in the middle of a field. The grass was soft and the sky blue, In the distance I saw my friends. Steve, Sam, Nat, Y/N...All walking towards me. But before they could reach me the sky darkened with clouds. I looked up at the sky to see but when I looked back there I saw the corpses of Steve, Sam, and Nat with Y/N standing up looking at me, covered in blood. They stared in fear for a moment and then they spoke. "You...You did this. You killed them. YOUR A MONSTER!" they screamed. Before I could even react the ground below me opened and I was suddenly falling.

I was falling for quite some time. During this time seeing flashbacks of old memories, Most of which were bad. After a moment I landed on the ground and began getting swarmed by Hydra agents. I fought and yelled but there were to many...and then...I woke up.

BACK TO REALITY

I looked at him softly I pull him back into the hug "You are not a monster. I know you would never hurt me or any of our other friends." I moved him a bit and held his face in my hands. "You are a good person" I reassured. I softly smiled at him and wiped tears off his face. He smiled weakly back at me "Thank you Y/N, That means a lot." he said. "No need to thank me, I care about you! Now how about we get off the floor." I chuckled as I stood up and reached my hand down to help him up. He let out a soft chuckle and grabbed my hand. 

Once we was stood up he just kinda stood there looking down at me. We stood there making eye contact for a moment before he blushed. "You have no idea how much this means to me, Its been a long time since I have been able to really talk to someone like this." He thanked me again. "I am always here for you Bucky, Let me know if you ever need any-" before I could finish talking Bucky kissed me. I was shocked at first but kissed back. While this was unexpected I definitely did not mind. I wrapped my arms up and around his neck and he put a hand on the side of my face. The kiss lasted for a moment before we both pulled away for air.

He looked worried "I'm sorry, I should have asked before kissing you its just I really like which I haven't really felt for anyone in a long time." he apologized and chuckled dryly. "Its ok, I liked it" I smiled up at him. "Would you maybe, stay here with me for the night?" he requested. I nodded "I would love to." I kissed his cheek "Now lets go back to sleep, Its like 3:30 AM and I am exhausted." We both chuckled before climbing back into his bed. He held me close as we both quickly fell asleep.

fictionfolk for the nonhumans who don’t understand them

this is a repost of a comment i made on reddit. it allowed me to get a lot of my thoughts on the nature of fictional identities in one place, so i figured it might be an interesting read for people in general. i’m responding to the specific arguments that OP raised and not necessarily speaking generally, but i think there’s probably still value in this for other audiences.

“so it's a pretty common thing for otherkin and therians to see, say, a certain picture of an animal or a landscape or something and feel a rush of feelings related to their phenotype. you carry these feelings in you, maybe they're phantom sensations or longings for certain environments or strange habits and attitudes. but it's only seeing those things reflected in another animal that lets you make the connection 'ah, i feel this way because i'm [specific nonhuman thing]'. self recognition through the Other, right? if you relate to what i've described there, try to keep that feeling in mind as i explain this.

the reason that day after day it continues to make sense for me to say 'i am [character]' instead of 'i am similar to [character]' is because the place i am most likely to encounter those feelings are in encounters with that character and that source. most of the engagement i do with those experiences is through that piece of media. and not even on purpose! the fact that i can be going about my business and suddenly run into fanart or shipfics describing a person shaped suspiciously like the feelings i have about myself is why i call myself fictionfolk. traits and experiences i identify as belonging to me get dissected, hypothesized over, reinterpreted, and treated, y'know, like fiction.

and, yeah, it might be incredibly unlikely that you live a life borderline identical to a narrative laid out in fiction. you could find ways to explain this - maybe we reincarnate into timelines with thematic 'resonance', maybe it's a psychological imprint thing. but those explainations don't really matter at the end of the day. ultimately, we have those experiences, regardless of why we think we have them. dissecting the 'why' doesn't stop the feelings from happening.

and you have to start from there. like any subjective identity, you have to start from a place of believing that when people report having certain experience, they're being sincere, or we can't go anywhere.

and, well, ok, assume i mean it when i say 'i have [x] feelings...' - can it still be inappropriate to say '...and identifying myself as [y] character is the best way for me to make sense of that'? i think it's a spectrum. a fursona is a fictional character, and i think it's pretty uncontroversial to say that identifying as someone else's would be fucking weird. i also understand the feeling of having an oc that you've poured so much of yourself into that for someone else to say 'i am this' feels boundary-crossing. i'm not here to declare where we draw that line; i am here to say that i think we, as authors and readers and A Society, misunderstand our own relationship to fiction a bit.

i refer to ideas like death of the author and deconstruction. jaques derrida said (roughly) that 'there is nothing outside of the text' - the only things that are 'canon' about a creative work are the words and images that exist inside the work itself. i have to stress that i don't think this is a matter of opinion - authors literally die and their insight on what their works represent often goes with them. this is why egyptologists don't agree on whether nyankh-khnum and khnum-hotep were lovers or brothers, for example. a lay person who isn't aware of kemetic visual language or culture could look at their tomb painting and infer other kinds of relationships, too, because they have their own sense of what being all up in someone's personal space like that means. some creature who has no idea what a human even is could see it as simply some pleasing shapes and colors.

because interpretation in generative! a work is the function of its actual canonical body and the experiences that the person interacting with it brings to it. someone saying 'this character is me' is making as much legitimate meaning out of it as any other. when(/if :v) i release any of my stories out into the world, my interpretation of my own characters will be on equal footing with everyone else's. it doesn't matter if, say, the way a certain character acts is informed by me, if their relationship to their parents is reflective of mine, if they talk the same way i do. those things exist specifically between me and the words or pictures that are committed to existence. they don't belong to the words or pictures inherently. other people will bring other connections into existence when their inner worlds meet the same words or pictures.

this is not at all to say that you should suck it up and let people do whatever they want to your work. i just want you to understand that people come to these conclusions for honest reasons through legitimate methods of analysis. i definitely think there are conversations to be had around responsibly naming your feelings and acting on your interpretations of fiction in alterhuman circles. i also think those conversations will go best when we're actually given room to bring our perspectives to the table and listened to.”

Point out the details! I mentioned earlier about quoting stuff from fics (that stuff is just 👌👌👌 so delicious) but I’m pretty sure (I’m not an artist myself don’t quote me) that the exact same effect is present when you talk about details in art or something. So talk about that pretty snowflake in the background! Or that piece of dialogue that made you laugh. Just a simple nod to the details is a big difference between saying “I like this” versus “I like this thing that you took the time to make the effort you put into the details did not go unnoticed”

Alright, it's about time we had a chat on whats going on on homestuck Twitter.

Note, that as someone who likes john, I have only seen one side of the community, and may be lacking information on the matter, that being said tho, here's what I know

Ever since the canonization of June Egbert, expressing any sort of interest in John has become more and more taboo on twitter.

I'm not going to argue on her canonicity, nor am I going to talk about her role in the comic, because no matter what your opinion on this topic is I think we can all agree: harassing people over a fictional character isn't acceptable

Hs Twitter seems to think otherwise! And believe it or not, most people seem to support it, including very big voices in the community

++++What has the hstwt community done?++++

Oh boy what haven't they done.

Starting with the most recent news, a john based discord server was raided by people who believe that john and june can't coexist.

Aside from how triggering it could be to have your safe space invaded, some members of the raid also went rogue and decided to dm and harass server dwellers for no other reason than to trigger them. Literally, they sent images specifically to trigger people.

What else have they done?

!! Doxxed and hacked a person over john egbert (admittedly, the person was acting pretty shitty, but thats not excuse to invade someone's privacy)

!! Have taken down and harassed multiple accounts for posting john egbert

!! Have sent death threats to people who like john egbert

!! Have compared the term "johnliker" to the term "map"

!! Created an account specifically to repost posts made by johnlikers

!! Have posted vile stuff in the tags, shown distaste for not only johnlikers but also transmascs

!! A big account took some john art, added their own caption and reposted it. When asked to take it down by the artist, they ignored the request, and only spoke up once a callout on them started getting traction.

No, they never took the post down

!! Got a positivity account taken down simply because the op liked john egbert

!! Specifically seeked out john art and commented under it

And so much more, and this? This was all done in the LAST 2 MONTHS

++++++Why is this happening?++++++

Junes canonization has caused a disagreement on John's validity. The problem is big accounts who began the trend of spreading hate for users who still liked and mentioned john, making the behavior seem ok, and other big accounts who stayed quiet on the matter.

Now, because of this outlook on harassment and targeted attacks, most of them are deemed acceptable, which breeds more vicious and violent attacks.

The fact that hs twitter isn't up in arms about the raid speaks loudly. If the roles were reversed, and johnlikers raided a june egbert based server, this would be way bigger news.

Further more, EVERYONE who likes john egbert, and i mean EVERYONE has been labeled a "transmisogynist".

This dehuminizes the people affected by the attacks, and spreads the idea that johnlikers like john maliciously, with intent to hurt transfems and erase june egbert, which simply isn't true.

If you're not on hs twitter, don't join, save yourself the trouble, but if you are? Take action

If you see someone organizing an attack, speak out against it.

If you see people dogpiling someones art, stand up for them.

If something big happens that affects people who like john, make posts about it, speak out, don't stay silent. Don't encourage this behavior.

Hurting people over a fictional character is sick, it's disgusting, and it isn't right. The homestuck community needs to do its best to discourage this behavior, to stop idolizing people who take part in it, and to make the fandom more pleasant and less hostile.

Hey, I just read that post you reposted, and while it was super helpful and did clarify some things, it also confused me, with my main question being: is queer a slur? I apologize if I'm coming off in any negative- especially ignorant- manner! ok so like, the post was talking about the history of it and i assume you hadn’t been able to comprehend it well enough, but basically it boils down to: the history is that the word queer, like a lot of lgbt+ words, has a history and is a foundational pillar of our shared history and important to people’s identities and is fine to use. It’s a good word.

obviously! it should be common sense if its a trigger word (just the same with any other word that can be used against people) you should be careful of its usage around said person with the trigger. but that doesn’t make it a slur. thats just being courteous to people. but as a whole, the word is fine and its best not to let others condemn it when it’s history is so important and vital to people.

personally, its the only word i’m really comfortable with describing myself aside from gay and nonbinary! its so much easier because i get people confused when i say i’m gay and nonbinary, because i also love women and i’m overall unsure of my attraction to men -my own feelings on my gender and attraction is confusing! i’ve only really gotten to explore a more masculine side of myself and its hard to parse whats me and what I like in a partner. its very different feeling than when i see a Pwetty Lady. Ya know? and besides, being nonbinary is a spectrum, you can’t just say you’re attracted to nonbinary people. we’re not a third option -there’s a thousand ways to be nonbinary! Thats like saying “oh i love colors!” and expecting that to mean a single color. without saying like, well, do you like warm or cold colors? Neutral? All of them? Hope that analogy made sense.

to keep things simple, i identity as queer. i am also incredibly closeted irl, and feel safe and its easier to just say i’m gay. i hold onto each of these words with my heart and soul.

anyway back to the topic at hand. its also very important to know that the history of people trying to claim it’s a slur is rooted in Sheila Jeffrey’s attempts to demonize lgbt+ people who didn’t fit her definitions of lesbian. “ political lesbains” is what op called her and her followers. i’m defs a Baby Gay and not really someone who can talk on the history past what that post was saying, and I recommend looking into the sources OP linked in the post, and reread the post again. I’m not really sure wheeeere exactly one would go to learn more about lgbt+ people in general, i kinda just wave my hand to google and looking up on youtube but keep in mind to listen to actual lgbt+ people and watch out for terfs and such.

I’m just gonna say, there is one big part of grudge for having been defeated by Ichigo mingled with a weird form of acceptance, considering Ichigo was both a self-improving and self-sabotaging project for Aizen. The boy is a masterpiece of patience and technology on Aizen’s part, but he proved over and over again, to be just a boy. And a pretty blinkered one on top of it.

if i remember correctly, you said you sometimes get the art you use from weibo, right? :o i just signed up, but i have no idea how to navigate this site haha! how do you usually find the stuff you use on there?

First of all, I highly recommend you to follow this person. They post a lot of different things, and most of the time I use their scans/photos, or content they reblog from other people, for my edits. (the rest is under the cut, because wordy)

Secondly, Weibo seemingly has a choice of languages in its settings. As far as I can understand, you can choose between several versions of Chinese and (1) English. The switch for the language setting is at the bottom of your homepage (something like dashboard on Tumblr). If you choose English, it helps a tiny bit because some of the navigation links become English. But the majority of the links still stay Chinese. :( If you use Google Chrome to browse internet, you can try its auto translate function for Weibo’s page. I find this rather confusing though, so I usually try to use my intuition to understand how things work. Or use Google translate for separate words.

Weibo has some similarities with Tumblr. It has its own dashboard, made of posts from the blogs you follow, and it allows you to use tags. Unlike Tumblr, a tag must start and end with the hash sign, smth like this: #Chuuya# . You can either click on the link with the tag you are interested in, or copy and paste it into the search bar. According to Google translate and my intuition: #文豪野犬# - Bungou Stray Dogs (not sure though, it seems to just say Bungou Dog when translating, so maybe this is a shortened version); #双黑# - Soukoku; #中原中也# - Nakahara Chuuya. Chinese and Japanese “letters” are similar, so if you know how a name is spelled in Japanese, you can visually recognize it in Chinese. You can also try to search for a Chinese version of the characters list on Wikipedia and, switching from Chinese to English and comparing, figure out the exact spelling of the names you are interested in. :)

I hope that my recommendations are more or less helpful. :) On a side note, please be very careful when browsing and try your best to tell official art from fanart. For example, this is a fanart, even though the art style is similar to the official art. :) I believe the words “Wedding Anniversary” can help to realize that this is fanart, since something official can’t be this shippy, but sometimes it’s really hard to tell. If you are not sure, try to google translate the op’s commentary to the post. It’s OK to download and save fanart for yourself, but you should not repost or edit it without the artist’s permission. Actually, editing official art is also rather questionable, according to the copyright law. x) But this a totally different story. :)

Yep! This is also a really good example of a post that should cause the reader to pause and look things up before sharing it (or at least to share it critically - there is a big difference between reposting a headline and "please say this is fake because this is wild and bad" vs posting it and saying "this seems wild and bad but I think I might be missing something - can someone help me understand this?").

While this post should cause a reader to double check on its face, because it is positing something so extreme (the purge in real life? come on?), extreme things do happen, and this is also a post that contains elements that should raise red flags that the post is not characterizing the thing it is ostensibly reporting on honestly.

Look at how the headline of the post describes the law: it's a "real 'purge' law" and they will "test out the 'purge' in real life." However, it then lists the new "non-detainable offenses" and states that the "criminals" will be "charged and released" "without cash bail."

First: that "non-detainable" language is being very carefully used here, and it should raise some red flags. If a post is using very strong language and casual to describe a law/government action, and then uses a very careful, legalistic term like "non-detainable," its a sign that you should look up what that term actually means in context. If this law means, as implied, that these offensives are "essential legal" as OP said, or that people can't be sentenced to jail for them, why not just say that?

Second, although the post describes the people affected by this law as "criminals," we know they haven't been convicted yet, even just going by this post alone (someone who is "charged" is not convicted). So the post is using inaccurate language to make us have an incorrect view of who this law applies to.

Third, the fact that the post specifically refers to "cash bail" (or just to bail at all) should be an immediate warning sign. Setting bail/release conditions is one of the very first determinations in a legal process. This means that the post is trying to mislead its readers about what part of the legal process is actually involved here.

Finally, there is even a small print part of the graphic that states "those arrested would be released without bail pending a court date." (emphasis added) Even if you don't know what bail is, the fact that there are further court dates after the person is released should tell you that something isn't quite right with the way the post is characterizing the law.

The legal system (and all government functions!) can be very complicated and most people don't know much about how it works. It's ok to not understand how to read a law, or not know what pre-trial detention is or how it works, or not know what bail is. Ignorance is not a moral failing. But if you are reading something that includes references to things you don't understand, you do have an obligation to look those things up before you share it uncritically.

Which shikigami is better, x or y? Is [insert shikigami name here] useful/useless? 

No shikigami is better than the other and no shikigami is completely useless (except Satori and Hone Onna).

If you’re comparing to shikigami who do very similar things like Zashiki vs Oitsuki vs Kaguya, then it is important to take what context you want to use them in.

If what you’re asking is actually “who can i shrine?” then the answer - anyone you don’t plan on ever using, or dupes of shiki you have already maxed the skills of. 

Are the collab shiki good? Are they worth getting? 

Doesn’t matter if they’re good or ‘worth it’, the real questions here are “do you want to give up an opportunity to get a limited shikigami?” and “would you regret not getting them?”. Even if you don’t particularly want the collab shiki, you may want the shards for trading purposes.

Each of the anime collab events has 3 parts. Once the 3rd part for any of the collabs has happened it won’t come back and the trading price will gradually increase.

When will GL get Nura?

Why does CN get cool events/free stuff/certain rate-ups and not GL? I want GL to be treated the same as them!!

The majority of all events will come to GL regardless if you demand it or not. Some older events like Yamakaze super oniou are completely skipped over so GL could catch up to other servers. To compensate for that, the rewards from such events are made available elsewhere. Anything that doesn’t come to GL, or even TW&JP, is CN exclusive. 

If your demands are for rate-up to be the same as CN, then surprise! GL already has the same rate-ups! (excluding the double SSR releases with rate-up for only 1 of them when the server was still new, that was GL exclusive)  What you’re actually asking for is to be treated like TW/JP. 

If you still really want to be treated exactly like CN and gets the same exclusives as them too, then go play on CN.

I heard this shikigami I just got/am working on is going to be nerfed and rendered useless-....

If you personally have not seen where such info is from (eg; official Onmyouji weibo or dashen/网易大神 account, ingame patch notes for CN, CN patch notes reposted on NGA forums or NGA weibo, etc), then consider anything relating to nerfs or buffs untrue.

Same goes for news about new shikigami, new skins, any brand new content in general.

Is the game P2W?

You can play the game the P2W way, but it is not necessary. Being completely F2P is possible. Besides, whether you’re P2W or F2P, we’re all still be subjected to the same rng when it comes mitama stats!

Like with any game with micro-transactions; remember to spend responsibly and moderately.

What should my pvp team be?

Teams for pvp are very flexible, so as long as you know what you’re doing you could use almost anything. If you don’t, then maybe don’t do pvp yet. Go figure out what your preferred play style is, which shiki you prefer using and what synergises with them first.

If you just want to copy the current meta, then the answer is easy - spectate pvp when it’s pvp time in your server. (not tier 8 though, that has its own unique meta)

Or if you want a more specific answer, then ask this question; “my current pvp team isn’t working too well, how can I improve it?” or “how do I counter certain teams (eg, Bakejujira teams) with the shiki & mitama/souls sets I have?”.

Were the drop rates for 6* in mitama/soul 10-11 nerfed?

Unfortunately, the harsh truth is - no, you’re either experiencing some very bad rng or you only just became able to farm mitama/soul 10. If the latter, for your first few runs drop rate for mitama/soul 10 will seem great, then as time goes it seems like it gets worse and worse. That ‘worse drop rate’ is actually the norm. 

Best ways to get 6* are farming mitama/soul 11, sougenbi, the goryou/totem dungeons, true orochi and exchanging orochi scales. (just for reference, mitama/soul 10 only has ~3% drop rate for 6*)

Were the rates for black daruma shards from boss raids nerfed?

Again, unfortunately, the harsh truth is - no. Please accept the fact that you are experiencing some bad rng at the moment.

Were the drop rates for memory scroll fragments nerfed?

First, ask other GL players if they are experiencing the same low drop rate as you. Second, ask CN or TW&JP players if they experienced a low drop rate during their most recent scroll event.

If the general response seems to be “yeah, drop rate feels lower than usual” then it has in fact been nerfed. This would be a perfect time to contact ingame support or complain about in the official Onmyoji discord.

I don’t have my 1st  6* shikigami but there are lower level players who already have multiple 6*s... am I progressing too slowly?

No, you’re not. Those players could be level suppressors, you could be over levelled, maybe they’re players who took the asap in “6* a farmer shiki asap!!” way too seriously.

Most people make their first 6* by level 30-50. If your level is anywhere in that range, you’re doing just fine.

Don’t worry too much about progressing too slow or fast, play the game at your own pace.

That’s an odd way to ask “how can I get myself potentially banned?”.

Don’t use 3rd party tools. You can get banned for using them.

If you do use 3rd party tools, then never ever post screenshots of you using them. Why? Because it’s evidence that can be used against you should anyone decide to take that proof, that you posted yourself, and report your account.

CN accounts - yes. There’s an app/site set up especially for that and is authorised or made by NetEase. I don’t know the full details, so to know more you’ll have to ask CN players.

I keep seeing other player’s say “dalao” and “dalao daidaiwo“, what does it mean?

“我亲爱的大佬，请带带我” or “my dear dalao please daidaiwo” is a CN meme. In the context of Onmyouji it basically means “op player pls carry me”.

大佬 / dalao = experienced person, op player in a game 带带我 / daidaiwo = carry me

What does “african“ and “european” mean in the context of Onmyouji?

In CN the unlucky streak and full SSR collection achievements are literally called “African Onmyouji” and “European Emperor”. The terms themselves aren’t unique to Onmyouji and are commonly said in chinese gaming communities, particularly ones for gacha games.

Just because these terms are common does not make using them ok.

This photo and moment has been in the making since I went to DallasCon16; this was the con where Misha Collins first told the beautiful story about his daughter Maison. Its a long post, but I wanted to tell the full story.

If you have not heard the “I Wish For This” story here is a Youtube Link to Misha telling it to a good friend of mine at Dallascon.

This story hit me and so many others really hard.  To me his message was that we all take things for granted in life. We forget to live in the moment and enjoy the little things. That no matter what you are doing in your life as long as you are happy then that’s what matters. Misha had always been an inspiration to me and with me just starting my new Group, WeAreSPNFamily, I decided I wanted to spread a little kindness of my own. I was all set to go to the last Houston Convention, the last Texas Con. I decided I wanted to do something Misha would not forget. So 5 months later after so much careful planning, it happened.

I had over 2,000 bright orange fliers printed up with on the front the message #IWishForThis and on the back the story behind the signs because a lot of people had never heard the story. We gave the crowd enough time to read the fliers so when he came on stage it was more than a simple sign hold up. There was so much love directed his way, that it nearly overwhelmed him. In the first 5 mins of the Houscon17 panel you can watch his reaction.

Later at autographs I handed him one of the fliers that I had had every volunteer who had helped me pass them out sign so that he would know all who had helped. I apologized for nearly making him cry and he smiled at me and said “No. Its ok. It was a good feeling, thank you so much.” I also gave him a beautiful drawing my friend had done of his daughter blowing out a dandelion and once again he looked deeply touched. I had a binder full of love and messages to give to him but I didn’t want to take up more time so I bought a Sunday auto ticket to give it to him. He was also deeply touched by this, so much so that he honestly couldn’t speak. I have come to learn that when Misha goes quite like that its because he is at a loss for words. This was also the first time he learned my name because he was personalizing stuff. He grabbed my hand before I walked away and thanked me so much for all the kindness I had brought to him. I simply said, it was a team effort. I just want to make the world a kinder place.

After Houscon it seemed that the “I Wish For This” story took off and never slowed down. At my next con I brought my orange flier in and he recognized me and smiled when he saw the flier again. 

Now lets jump ahead to October, the New Orleans Convention. I had been wanting to get an I Wish For This tattoo. But I wanted it in Misha’s handwriting. I was terrified to ask but my new friend, who had seen Misha too many times to keep count, told me to just do it. As I walked up to the table, bright orange flier in hand Misha smiled down at it and looked back up at me; now recognizing me. I said, "I have so many of your autographs. I was wondering if you could just write 'I Wish For This' I was want to get it as my next tattoo.” Once again Misha got that look upon his face. The one that words can not describe but the best I can do is say love and kindness. But that really doesn’t do it justice. He just looked at me, sharpie in hand. So I looked him in the eyes as I put my hand over my heart and said, “This story, this message means more to me than you can possibly know. I truly want this as my next tattoo, it would mean the world to me.” He then smiled at me and slowly wrote out I Wish For This. To make sure I left him with a smile on his face I showed him our silly photo op and he was laughing as I walked away. Only 6 days later did I have my tattoo.

We have now reached the point where I can talk about the first photo above. So the time came to reveal it too him with dozens of people who had seen it over the course of the con telling me how stunning it was. So I walked up and his eyes lit up and he practically yelled "Hey" at me and was grinning from ear to ear. He was like "what do you wanna do." I said, as I started to turn, " I had your write this for me and NOLA and he went " Oh yeah that's right" and then he got quite. I felt his hand touch my tattoo and pull back, realizing photo ops don't give enough time to talk. He said very carefully, I could tell he was trying not to let his voice crack, he said " That...is... so...beautiful." I said "Thank you" and went on to say, " So I want your head on that shoulder and I'll place my”... before I could finish he said "I understand completely." We did the pose and I said "Thank you so much" he looked at me, touched my shoulder and said, " No, thank you." I have never cracked with Misha ever, but as I walked away it hit me and I had to take a few breaths and shake it off. I didn't realize how much that exchange seemed to have affected me until I had walked away.

Lastly, the auto story. I had printed up a photo of my tattoo and had written down what each component meant, I will repost the photo at the bottom with all that info. But anyway I had stepped out of the theater to grab a snack. They were still doing Castiel photos so I thought I had time. I came back ten minutes later and the person at the mic was saying “Ok, everyone say good bye to Misha.” I started sprinting and fell in front of the stage looking up at the woman saying, “Wait, please I have a ticket.” She gave me one look and then grabbed her mic saying they had one more. Misha hadn’t even left the room yet, he had just gone behind the curtain. He walked back out trying to be all sarcastic and funny. He was like, “Are you f*cking kidding me? I was so close.” But then he saw me gasping for air, still on my knees on the ground and he stopped. I got up and set my bag down, apologizing over and over again as I tried to find my photo op for him to sign. 

I told him I was running late because I had been writing down what all my tattoo meant and that this early sketch of the tattoo was given to me by my artist to give to you. I was still panicking, could not find that photo op to save my life. 

But unknown to me and told to me by several people afterwards. When Misha saw me when he came out from behind the curtain his body language shifted. He waved his handler back, apparently she was like 6 feet from him. He sat back down so that he was at my level. And he looked at me thoughtfully and appeared to be listening to every word I had to say. (Now I don’t know if this is all correct, but a few people believed it to be so...). Anyway I finally found the photo and he gave it a good look before he signed. I said, “ I just want you to know that you have inspired me to be a better person, to help others, and make this world a better place by simply being kind. Thank you so much Misha for coming back out and just being you.” He started to stand up and as he shook my hand he said, “No. Thank you Kirby. It was great to see you again.”

How he remembered my name I will never know. I had written it on the small piece of paper with my tattoo pic, which he refused to have shipped to him he wanted to take it with him, but he there was just no way he saw it and remembered. He said my name like he had always known it, as strange as that sounds. 

Then all my adrenaline begin to calm down and I broke for the first time at a con. Like full on crying, but my friends helped me realize how special that moment was. That all my hard work to spread kindness and love had not gone unnoticed. 

This entire story is hard for me to tell, in fact I teared up many times writing this. Misha has inspired me in so many ways and for a man like that to remember me not because I have been to a ton of conventions, get tons of photos with him, or do all his meet and greets; but for him to remember me because of the good I have tried to do. Well I don;t know very many people who wouldn’t cry at their role model acknowledging them like that. 

I do not know when my next con will be, it could be a year, it could be two. But I got what I wished for. And I will never forget it.

Here is the photo again with the explanation for why I got a feather instead of a dandelion. 

So I went with a feather because a single feather represents freedom. It represents that one wishes to go higher and go further than one thinks is possible. For me that's a big thing. I went with a black feather for 2 reasons, one it does represent Castiel. But two it represents to me the black sheep, the out of box thinker. And that's who I am. I chose the blue flowing off the feather for 2 reasons, 1) I showed him misha's eyes color because it's basically my favorite color of blue so we got close to it and 2) I wanted a magically potential to be shown. That just because something looks ordinary, like a feather, doesn't mean it doesn't hold unknown beauty inside. Finally the heart in the tattoo is from one of Misha’s autographs. To represent that no matter where life takes me I will always have what I have learned from Misha in my heart.

Book anon here and that is correct, I sent my ask prior to learning about the news. I found out a few minutes later from other svt blogs I followed so I want to apologize for my ask! I feel bad sending in the ask and I wasn't sure if I should send in another ask to apologize of my timing?

Its ok for taking a while to respond, please things have been, rocky shall I say? Within the fandom so take all the time you need! You could have also ignored my ask gjskdnak I would have understood! Things have been messy from day one and it seems to have calmed down? I cannot confirm this as I haven't looked up translations on twitter from fan accounts (we saw what happened with that) and am waiting on an official pledis statement which we can for once applaud them for doing their job. They put gose on hold and are communicating for the most part while getting proper info on this. Ssp is iconic and that is facts. Even if I got frustrated with it, if was a fun game and I liked it. I do thank the bts version for getting me into the other games of superstar because they are fun so its a shame to see it be gone so quick. I read that as well and as someone that is playing rhythm hive, the game is buggy but has improved but I can see svt and nuest on there. Since the game is sort in a beta/alpha phase, I'm guessing they are using the "official release" as a big update that can maybe include pledis artists. (Apparently the current state of the game is like a beta? Lol) Of course I'm not sure since we have no official statements or early leaks like when people found out bigbit bought out the video game company that is doing rhythm hive. We shall see, I would like to see a svt game of some sorts still!

and yeah i know what you mean. i mean it's looking like the issue is getting cleared up since mg and OP1 resolved their issues and the other claims either have been or look like they will be proven false. but i think it makes sense to miss them, even if mg had been guilty of all of the claims, or at least to miss SVT/mg as we know them. like, even if it came out that all of SVT were serial killers or something like that where it's obviously unforgivable, i still think it would make sense for Carats to miss the SVT we thought we knew, who brought us joy. now that a lot of the claims are starting to get cleared up i think a lot of ppl are more comfortable saying they miss SVT. but i guess my point is when everything was first happening and a lot of ppl thought mg was being accused of way worse stuff i still think it's natural for ppl to miss SVT, and shouldn't feel guilty. it doesn't mean u condone the action in question. i just say this bc i feel like i see a lot of posts of ppl saying they miss SVT but it sounds like they feel guilty about it

yeah it really is impossible to completely protect something once you put it online which sucks!! like ppl could argue if creators didn't want their work stolen they shouldn't put it online, but creators should be allowed to share things without worrying about that. plus for people who do some kind of art for a living, the internet is probably the best way to advertise these days

yeah i wouldn't be surprised if it takes a little while to announce SVT/nuest being added to rhythm hive even if that is the plan. since ssp just ended there might be contract/legal stuff to work out before the songs can be added to another rhythm game. but yeah even though I'm pissed if it really is true that bh ended ssp for their own rhythm game i guess having something is better than nothing. but I'm mostly worried that they won't add after school, pristin, etc. to the new game bc it seems unlikely they will :(

I FORGOT TO MENTION! They had intro music for ONLY ONE and it was really kakkoi!

And also about Shoutan's hair! You can barely see in photos, but one side of his hair was partly braided, one braid had green infused in it!

So, I know I scared a few of you by saying how I noticed Shoutan was off with part ① of my report. I never seen anyone else mention about it at all, so I really wondered if it was only me who noticed? So I asked my Japanese Shoutan friend, who, if there was anyone, would notice for sure. And she said she did notice he was off too. She said it could also be the technical difficulties they had which may have bothered Shoutan. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed, I knew I wasn't imagining things!

Winter Blossom

There was a piano on stage and a silhouette next to it. IS THAT SHOUTAN?!?? ITS HIM!!

They sang and danced with mic stands and they were so kakkoi!! Shoutan stood on the right side. They made hearts with their hands If I remember correctly, Shoutan seemed fine from this song onwards.

Double Face

The first thing I noticed is that Maeno wore the bangle light!! XD There was 2 dancers who wore a masquerade mask, one was dressed in white, the other in black, they were on either side of Maeno This performance was amazing. Maeno performed while changing from butler Camus to Count Camus Everyone freaked out every time he changed to Count Camus

NO. 1

During the end part of the second chorus: “aijou kanjou shinjou joushou koujou ZENBU nose de shirane KAIKAN kanjitē daro Baby?” they showed a video of Ranran saying the words to the song and the lyrics plastered on top of each other, one after another (it was graffiti-like) It looked so badass The venue and the cinema was really heated up with the fan chants.

Mune No Koudou

Seeing how everyone changed to a more rock like outfit, I had a lot of expectations with Shoutan's outfit. As soon as he appeared I was so star strucked (*_____*)

He looked so kakkoi and beautiful AND it's Mune No Koudou (my fav song along with Futari No Monogram) FINALLY I can hear him sing it!!!!!!! I never expected it at all, but he danced to the song!! The dance was kakkoi and sassy at the same time lol It suits Ai-chan! Throughout the whole performance I sat up watching him in awe He was definitely fine during this.

WILD SOUL

The choreography was just like 4th Stage, except you can see the huge difference from then and now. Tatsun was so much more confident this time round.

Something crystal/snowflake like came down and Maeno held it on the top of his palm and then it flew away The effects were so beautiful!! During the instrumental part, he pointed the cane towards us along with the beat, as if he was casting magic on us Confetti fell.

While Maeno was still on stage, the door opens just like in 4th Stage and the rest of the members came walking out They were SOOO kakkoi!! They all stood still, posing until it was their line to sing The did the hand circle thing again

AHHHH!!!! WE ALL WOW WOW'D WITH THEM JUST LIKE SHOUTAN ASK BEFORE!! I'M SO GLAD THAT WE DID THAT IN THE THEATRE TOO!!!!!

Although this is posted really late, I realised it's actually pretty good timing after posting the translation to Shoutan's 6th Stage blog. He talked about the love they felt at this live, and really, the love was unreal, I've never felt it this much at an event before. You can really feels the fans' love and the Seiyuus' love, they were equally as strong! Obviously I am a huge QN fan, so I am biased, but I felt it more here than in 5th and 6th Stage Because it was purely QN and their own fans. Even though I was in a cinema and not at the actual venue with them, I can say for sure the feeling was all equal. I can still remember the pure satisfaction and happiness I felt after watching this Live. Words can’t really explain it, but it was amazing!

And this was the thing that made this live more amazing than others, of course they were restricted to what they can do because of the venue (I.e. No flying, no driving on the stage lol etc) but even without all the fancy performances, this live was better.

Of course, if QN isn't your number one group then you most likely won't feel what I felt when you come to watch the DVD.

Wait! Maybe I'm not biased! QN Live was better than Shoutan's Prism Live ButnothingwilleverbeatShoutan’sBudokanLive!!!!!!!!!!!!

REPOSTING TO GET MORE HELP CAUSE IM A CLUELESS PERSONSorry if this seems dramatic or not a lot to go off of! Me (22m), and her (18f). Getting to the chase: I can't stop thinking about her. I'm VERY attracted to her physically, but I don't want that to be the reason I'm interested. We've been friends for about a year, and only see each other twice a week but have kind of been in some form of communication the past couple of weeks consistently (though I give way more than she does over text). Anyways, I know baseline that she is drawn to me in some way, and there's this part of me that wishes that I could just get to know her (she's mentioned getting coffee once but nothing ever came from that). Anyways, she will walk up to me regularly and talk (I do the music at church and she will come up whenever she doesn't help and give me a hug and tell me good job a lot of the times), so much to where some of my friends have noticed and said stuff. She will sometimes text me first about music or random things (she will send me tiktoks that she uses to make fun of me), last week we talked on the phone about some music stuff, but then it turned into her telling me she was going to workout and stuff about her gym, and she ended the call with "Ok bye I'll call you later" (she never did). In person she will mess with me, tease me, randomly walk up to me (but she also has a lot of guy friends so not sure if I'm just in the same boat). She also confides in me about a few hard things in her life. We talked after lunch for an hour in the parking lot about hard things in her life, then she turned the convo to her new friend group which she said "everyone is starting to date each other, but I'm not interested in any of them. I'm about to graduate and so I want to be dating someone now (assuming not after she gets to college)." And I wasn't flirty (boundaries bro...I could lose my job if I don't wait til May), and she also has wanted to tell me about a recent anxiety attack she had. A lot of our texting she initiates but its mostly about church but there have been a few other things but there most of the time short and ends with her not responding or liking my messages, or they’re very short responses. She will take pics on my phone of herself, she posts pics of me on her insta story (and shell get on my phone and take ones of us and post them on mine) and the other day she said "this girl is in a relationship, I can't believe you're not in one OP. hahaha" and then I just diffused the convo and changed the subject.Also one time I saw she had Bumble on her phone...that was over a month ago. Also she's posted pics of me and her on her and mine insta story, etc.And today I saw her at a coffee shop and I told her how once I did music there, and this past summer I attended a poetry reading and read something I wrote, and she said "Oh why didn't you invite me" and I kinda just joked it off. But then she left and she wrote in the coffeeshop guest book "OP is a butt" as a joke and told me to look at it. We texted but barely had a convo and she just ended up loving the message (in iMessage) I sent. Then this morning she sends me a link to a song randomly that she wants me to listen to (I texted back but she hasn't said anything since). So idk?Just friends for now.So idk if she's interested, just a flirty gal, or what. Idk if she is gauging my interest or what. Maybe she's playing hard to get? let me know your thoughts.
