If there’s one thing in this world that people in the Arts department (ex.artists, musicians, designers, actors and writers) hate the most, that really grinds their gears and has them scream at the skies and sends all those who dwell in Gods green Earth into the fiery depths of 🔥👿Hell👿🔥its PLAGARISM! Nothing pisses off an artist more than when some talentless f**ker steals their precious creation and claims it as their own! Who do they think they are!? Huh!? Can’t they come up with their own sh*t to do!? They don’t know the hours and time we spent, the redos we had to start over from, the people we forced ourselves to ignore to work or even the fury that’s gonna befall upon them on their filthy doomed heads! AHHHHHHHHHH! They.will.PAY! (angrily pants)........................you think I’m pissed! HA! Get a load of how pissed this one artist felt! And shut it!
*Silencer-(composes themselves and smiles) Moving on! So there’s this contest out by Bob Roth, Jagged Stones producer, who’s looking for “the next best thing” and Kitty Section sends in their song and music video to it. For those of you who forgot, Kitty Section is the name of that rock band we heard Marinettes friends play and call themselves (“Captain Hardrock”) which consists of Ivan, Rose, Juleka and her older brother, Luka! Glad we’re getting some more continuity with that cuz nothing’s more important in a show then remembering what you created in it and having it referenced to let others know it’ll be important later. Luka writes the song, Rose sings it and Marinette designs the outfits for it.
When they don’t hear the results for the winners they find out that XY, that bratty teenybopper DJ pop star who tries to be cool and is Jagged’s rival, has stolen their song and look and it wins the crowd claiming it as his own! That little sh*t! Turns out, the whole thing was a big scam for XY to rip off their music! XY got no talent whatsoever and his whole “fame and fortune” is based off copying others work and plagiarizing it! (guy even rips off his own work! How sad). And get this, Bob Roth is his father! WHAT!? When did they point this out in the show!? Cuz I’m just hearing about it for the first time! Like (a**hole) Father, Like (a**hole) Son.
Marinette and Kitty Section go to confront XY and Bob at the television studio, but when Marinette and Luka manage to sneak in (during a fake akuma attack from their friends) they say it was their song that he stole, but Bob and XY deny it and say they were “inspired” (inspired my a**!). When Marinette goes to confess the truth on live tv (being that she’s all about that justice), Bob stops her and threatens to make sure she’ll never design again as he’s got connections from the mayor and she’s just a nobody and that pisses off Luka. Luka was pissed! F**king calm cool and collected Luka, was pissed! Damn! When Hawk Moth senses that, he sends out an akuma and Luka becomes Silencer! A mute voice stealing supervillain who’s out for revenge on Bob Roth!
Now this villain makes sense! XY stole his song, so Silencer steals his voice! Karma! The way Silencer does it is pretty fun actually. He first shushes the victim, their voice comes out like “a tiny color coded jellyfish?” (is that how they portray our voices in this show?) And then he retrieves it by making a “I can’t hear you” gesture that goes into his helmet ear leaving the victim a mute! Silencer then uses their stolen voice as his own in a “talking too much nonsense” hand gesture since his helmet covers his mouth. Lol! The outfit however looked too Tron like for me again and it didn’t look like how Marinette designed it and he could’ve looked like a dark unicorn which would’ve been more suited to his band, but I’m a writer, not a designer. Bob uses Marinette as a human shield (the coward) against Silencer, but he spares her cuz he’s listed now as the #2 supervillain who likes Marinette. He even tells her how much she means to mean. Awwwwww (shakes head and mutters under breathe) No! No! No! Adrienette! Adrienette! You ship Adrienette! Oh well, it was probably just the akuma talking.
Silencer then steals Ladybugs voice (well he said he wouldn’t hurt Marinette, but he didn’t say anything about Ladybug! Badum-tish🥁). Now she’s left as a heroic version of Mime! FYI, Cat Noir sucks at charades. Stick to texts Ladybug, game night with him on this would be a disaster (least she can still physically respond to his sassy remarks by bonking his head w/ her yo-yo😁). After becoming a master of a thousand voices, Silencer threatens to ruin Bob Roth’s reputation using authority voices he stole (ex.the mayor, the police) if he doesn’t go on live tv and confess to plagiarizing Kitty Section. Cat Noir points out to Ladybug that this shouldn’t be a problem since that’s all he was trying to do cuz Bob is a corrupt a**hole, but Ladybug says texts, “It would be revenge not justice”. Resorting to wrongdoings isn’t the way to get the truth out as Ladybug remembered from her own experiences with lashing out (“Volpina”/“Chameleon”). Justice is super important thing to Ladybug and wants it done fair and square. In the end, Ladybug goes Ghostbusters on Silencer and she and Cat save the day, Bob smugly confesses to stealing from Kitty Section when he thinks he’s still off the hook, but Cat catches it live on tv! HA! Take that ya music moguling moron! Bob saves his own a** saying it was “a surprise” and signs the band a record deal. Sure Bob, sure, they’ll take the record deal though!
So, Kitty Section’s theme is a Pastel Pop/Rock band where all their songs are about unicorns. Seems legit. We know that Rose is the lead singer, Luka is on bass, his sister Juleka on electric guitar and Ivan on drums. Good to know their band is still a thing and not just a one off joke. I actually like this song from them better then the Heavy Metal version one from their first performance. This one was more Rock n’ Roll and it’s catchy! Now that they got a record deal maybe it’ll be continued in a future episode too! Bob Roth is XY’s father!? WTF!? So he’s both Jagged Stone and XY’s producer? In secret!? Or do they know!? Cuz I sure as Hell did not! Oh and XY’s real name is actually Xavier-Yves! XD. It makes sense actually that Bob is XY’s father, from what we’ve seen of him in the show, he’s been trying to change (control) Jagged Stones career by making him into a copy of XY! In “Guitar Villain”, Bob wanted Jaggeds new album design the same as XY’s (“perfume ad style”) and in “Troublemaker”, he wanted Jagged on a cheesy tv show that Jagged said wasn’t “Rock n’ Roll” for him. Probably tryin’ to spice up his sons “style” by making another popular celebrity do the same thing to reach out to the young demographic, but the thing is, Jagged is true to his theme while XY is a f**king fake! Well, he may be a fake, but he’s a fake w/ feelings since hearing his own father say he sucks was just low. Ouch! Despite what Ladybug said about “revenge not justice”, she wasn’t above shutting up Bob Roth when she was trying to protect him and he just kept badmouthing Kitty Section blaming them for the akuma and rudely critizing her and Cat Noir. Action speaks louder than words indeed for what she did to him😏. He deserved it! Then there’s another limited use for the superheroes powers, it can only be used in their voice and Silencer took Ladybugs. Another challenge Ladybug had to face since she rarely gets hit by the villains powers (that’s Cat Noir) and it’s okay as long as she’s not brainwashed cuz we need her to purify the akumas. I really would like there to be a twist that Marinette/Ladybug gets akumatized! And see how the remaining characters fix that! Let’s see how the writers can handle that! I heard this was the Lukanette episode. And it shows! Adrien was barely in it at all, so it was just them. When was the last time we saw Luka, “Frozer”!? Cuz he’s appeared like twice already and so far, I’ve seen more of Kagami than him. In his third appearance, I’m seeing that Marinette is slowly falling for him too. Turns out he meant what he said as Silencer word for word and Marinette seems to like that. Looks like there’s room in her heart for one more guy. I mean, from his last two appearances, Marinette likes that’s he’s nice, talented and is into Jagged Stone like her and she even went on a date with him. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Marinette is more at ease w/ him then she is w/ Adrien if she’s starting to like him back. In-universe, Alya ships Adrienette, Marinettes father ships Marichat, Adrien ships Ladrien (tries to hide laughter) and Paris ships Ladynoir! Course it’s been shown the love square is endgame millions of times what with all the parallels and dynamics the two share, but just when is it gonna be canon!?

all the posts collating reactions to The Empire Strikes Back or writing mock Rotten Tomatoes reviews to imply that the criticisms of this film aren’t worth paying attention to are just…so missing the point
exactly two works that said what ‘Star Wars’ was existed at the time of Empire’s release in 1980: Star Wars (not yet renamed ‘A New Hope’) and Alan Dean Foster’s 'Splinter of the Mind’s Eye’ (a sequel written in case Star Wars was a flop that could be filmed on a shoestring budget and without Harrison Ford. It’s Wild and puts the lie to the idea that Lucas had any idea where the Skywalker story was going; highly recommend)
in the year of our Lord 2017, The Last Jedi was released as the third film in a revival of a six film, single creative vision franchise, with the added baggage of over two decades of novels, comics, video games, and other media (the only thing ever fully expelled from canon was the infamous holiday special, which, honestly, had greater creative merit than some of the stuff that got to stay)
what’s the point? Expectations. No, not people who didn’t want anything to change and are Mad About It or whatever facile narrative the authors of those blog posts and reviews are using to explain why this film is probably more divisive than the goddamn prequels. The problem is that not only does The Last Jedi clash with decades of fandom, it is even at loggerheads with its sister films in this particular revival. and it doesn’t get the same benefit of the doubt that ESB got because that’s not how franchises and fandoms actually work. you don’t get to ignore everything that came before to tell your own story. they have to work together.
Sure, not everybody read the EU (and trust me some of them are better off for it). But almost everybody saw The Force Awakens, most of them saw Rogue One, and a fair number of them, old and young fans alike, eagerly consumed the New EU content that offered glimpses into how the events of The Force Awakens came about and what mysteries were set up in what was effectively a reboot rather than a sequel. Generally, you know, regardless of how much you hate 'puzzleboxes,’ it is reasonable to expect that what one film sets up will have a payoff in the next, particularly when the first film takes such care to be sensitive to what the fans want (as JJ and Kasden did with TFA) - because while this is a money faucet for Disney, sure, there’s no point in bringing this franchise back without those fans (and of course, their kids) - and what they got from Rian and the Lucasfilm story team was…a confirmation that they had been wasting their time. It’s all well and good to pull the rug out from under the audience (as this film does incessantly) but it’s cynical bullshit to basically bait them with promo material and the preceding canon and then to deliver on basically nothing and expect everyone to just be okay with it. This film effectively penalizes the people who cared the most and spent the most time engaging with The Force Awakens and rewards people who may not have really been here for what Lucas was selling to begin with. As one review put it, it ‘does not care what you think about Star Wars’.
But when you set expectations as deliberately as Kennedy and the Lucasfilm Story Group did in JJ and Kasden’s TFA, it’s not great writing to blow them to pieces mid-narrative. It’s just lazy. the idea that Rey has no connection to the Skywalker line? a good idea, potentially, but clumsily executed, as it is played out less as an important revelation and more an excuse to not actually give any kind of answer to how Rey came to be Ben’s equal on the Light (or why she even is ‘Light’ honestly; I love Angry Rey but there’s seemingly no danger in her temptation) or where she got a skill set rivaled in this franchise only by literal Space Jesus Anakin Skywalker. Snoke is a one-noted villain; having him be betrayed by Kylo in the midst of his own villain arc? a very good idea. it belongs as the climax of the film, not the end of act 2 so there is no time for anything to breathe, just more never-ending crises and hardship.
Like, spare me the 'force visions are unreliable’ (Rey’s was unlike anything we had seen before, it wasn’t Anakin’s nightmare or Luke on Dagobah) bs; the film didn’t say that what Rey saw was wrong for x reason, it just pretended that it never happened and Rey didn’t say anything about it); spare me ‘our heroes have to fail and sometimes all the plans don’t work out’ we know that, we live in the real world of 2017 but while making your clever point you have wasted the presence of three extremely talented actors of color, and let down the audiences waiting for a chance to see people who look like them be the heroes for once. instead it turns out they didn’t actually matter all that much, but maybe next film!
It’s not clever. It’s not visionary. It’s cheap, it’s cowardly, and it isn’t actually that original because the film leaves us exactly where we expected. Poe is the leader and Leia’s heir to command, Finn is a newly-committed Rebel brimming with unrealized potential, Rey is a Jedi character (amorphously defined) who we know exactly as much about as we started, Luke is gone, even if he went out in pretty spectacular fashion, Carrie’s death means that Leia will be leaving us soon, and Kyle Ben has become the big bad. That’s the only real development - Snoke’s death and Ben’s rejection of his redemption - and it’s buried under Rey, our erstwhile heroine, being a vehicle for the villain’s character development. The only character this film particularly cares about is a white fascist who gets every chance to be redeemed and rejects them while the film expects us to keep caring.
So, yeah. People are mad. Not because of the same ‘the series is changed forever now’ shit that the haters of ESB were on about. Because the real changes? Ben being the real villain, the smallfolk of the galaxy being the source of light and conduits of the Force? I don’t see anyone complaining all that hard about them.
the complaints are about the damage done to beloved characters for…not all that much of a payoff. the misuse and marginalization of the characters of color. the disdain with which the script treats the nostalgia of the Force Awakens. the unrelenting pace of the film that just grinds the Resistance (and the audience) down and just tells them to trust us, even as more and more and more is taken away. Rey’s parentage isn’t the only thing cast aside - promises of developments in Finn’s story - his identity, his potential to cause a revolt in the First Order, even his force sensitivity (you want a force user from nothing? how about a child soldier from a nameless family who as we are continually reminded used to be on sanitation crew) - are broken. Rey has her dream of family taken away…and replaced with…well the film doesn’t really bother to say because she’s a plot device for most of act 3. We don’t get to see her reject Ren and leave him. Because this isn’t her story; it’s his. Kylo is unconscious, so the scene is over. Tell me how that is a satisfying arc for our erstwhile protagonist? Poe’s character is completely uprooted from what we’ve seen before to make him an obnoxious hotheaded menace whose emotions threaten the survival of the Resistance if two old white women aren’t able to keep him in check. Rose says a lot and gets to do almost nothing. Luke…Luke is torn down to justify the fall of Ben Solo, never given the chance to establish a meaningful bond with his erstwhile successor, and is only given the chance to atone by acting as a diversion to give the others time to escape. he dies alone, a failure, even if he is at peace with how things turned out.
last year we were shown a movie in the wake of one of the more traumatic political events in the life of the people on this website where a diverse and sympathetic cast fight hard and are entirely wiped out. But their deaths come in a spectacular and charged finale that carries the desperation and grief and pathos through into the beginning of the story we know and love. it all feels worth something. Rogue One has its flaws as a film but it comes together in a way that The Last Jedi does not. In the end, what Jyn and Cassian and the others do is just enough to get the plans away, to start the sequence of events that will lead to the Empire’s destruction.
Here?
there’s just not enough left. not enough of the Resistance, not enough story, not enough hope.
to have that hope repeatedly stripped away and cynically exploited through a narrative that drags the characters from crisis to crisis without bothering to justify itself or its role in the story (while retreading the highlights of Episodes V and VI without the emotional depth to back them up), and in so doing wears down the audience as much as the characters is not why I have devoted so much of my life and emotional energy to this series about space wizards and their galaxy-destroying family squabbles and eventual chance for redemption. for all his many, many faults, George Lucas understood that.
you can’t just talk about hope. sooner or later you have to see it. You have to feel that what you are suffering will be worth it. The text needs to tell you as much. it’s clumsy and cliched and it is necessary. In the Empire Strikes Back, after Han is captured and Luke is beaten, the turning point is Lando. Lando changes the course of the movie, rescuing Leia and Chewie, who rescue Luke. They live to fight another day, and at the end they are wounded but among friends.
the moment in The Last Jedi where that could have happened was when Leia’s signal went out. How terrific would it have been if after being betrayed by a scoundrel the original scoundrel with a heart of gold, Lando Calrissian, arrives at the head of a fleet made up of all the alien races so inexplicably missing from the sequel trilogy so far, fending off the First Order long enough for the Resistance to escape with most of the survivors on Crait?
But Rian had to have one last twist of the knife. so nobody came. only Luke, and only as a distraction to buy time that ultimately cost him his life and reduced his legacy to giving everything to atone for his past sins. there is no Lando moment. there is no turning point, no moment where a larger victory is hinted at. and no, a single stable boy far, far away from the war is not the same thing. It makes an interesting point about the force and the metanarrative of Star Wars. It is not what this film needed after everything it put its characters and audience through.
and so at the end I’m not hopeful. I’m just tired. So, very tired. And I miss what made me fall in love with this series about space wizards and the Skywalker family in the first place
#martinus watches the last jedi#the last jedi spoilers#tlj spoilers#tlj negativity#rian does not love star wars like I love star wars#I'm just so. tired.#I need to watch Rebels or ROTJ and remember Star Wars can be like fun

So I’m Supposed To Be Studying For An Econ Exam Right Now
But I just had to write this. Sometimes I feel like things that would normally be a priority to someone else should take the back burner when I feel like there is an important social issue that needs to be addressed. Today’s topic is a little bit sensitive. It’s a little bit scary and I don’t think this will be too detailed or graphic but I want to issue a trigger warning anyway because you just never know.
I want to talk about harassment.
I contemplated writing this post for a little while now just because I didn’t think it necessarily applied to me. We live in a man’s world. Everyone knows it. You’re taught it in school and it’s reinforced and confirmed in your everyday and social lives. I publicly say “I hate men” about at least 7 times a day just because I don’t know what else to say at this point (but I don’t truly mean it). Life is a game of power and men have it. It’s one of those things that is so deeply ingrained in universal society that there is no hope in it changing anytime soon (just being honest). However, as I grow up and look more inquisitively on the world I see this power play out in so many different ways and if we were to brush all of my jokes and nagging comments and eyerolls aside I have to say, quite frankly, that it’s scary.
I am very much a feminist (in the traditional sense of equality, not the modern sense of putting men down). If you had asked me if I was about a year ago I would have also said yes, but I would have added a “but....” as to alleviate the implications that I was crazy and aggressive and trying to assert my female dominance and grind all men to a ridiculous pulp. It sounds stupid, but every time the word was introduced in a conversation all of the guys in the room would crack jokes or talk shit and if anyone knows me at all, the unfortunate truth is I’m constantly trying not to be the negative talk of anyone’s conversation, even if that means silencing myself.
So, for the longest time I kind of stayed away from that word. That is, until my parent’s anniversary. On April 9th, 2020 my mom and dad and I sat down and watched their wedding video. We talked about all of the cute things my dad did for my mom and eventually my mom told me that instead of a bouquet she threw a remote to the women and my dad threw an apron to the men to just highlight how bullshit they thought gender roles were. I fell in love with the concept, and ever since then have been thinking more and more about how I should just say what I feel without the fear of being ridiculed by anyone.
A woman’s role in society, the cooking and cleaning I get it..in fact, I really do enjoy doing those things. However, that fact is one small drop in the bucket when I consider what those implications mean. The women that fought for the right to vote, the women that are publicly shamed for speaking up about being raped by anyone let alone our fucking president. I know this blog was supposed to be a friendly and welcoming place but let me just say that it makes me shake with rage when I think about how frequently women are disrespected.
I would be lying if I said this didn’t apply to me, so that’s why I needed to write this. I want to preface this part by saying that I have been so so so SO lucky to have been surrounded by so many amazing men my whole life. I’ve learned so much from them and some of them have turned into my best friends and I trust my dad and uncles and grandfather with my life. However, it has to be addressed that virtually every female in the world has been harassed or treated as less than in one way or another. I know that I’m not typically one for making vague claims like that, and I would rather whip out statistics, but I think that’s a claim I can make with absolute certainty.
There’s a certain point where it’s not a joke anymore. I understand that miscommunication and misinterpretations are a thing. I understand that a lot of guys have good intentions that are incorrectly viewed, I get it. But a lot of the times...it’s not. I remember when the Me Too movement was at its peak and there were still men making jokes and not taking it seriously and I wanted to vomit. These are people’s sisters, daughters, friends. People that I’ve known since middle school that could do no wrong, people that are sweet and want nothing else than to see the good in everyone get taken advantage of all the time. I have not been raped, but everyday I live in fear that it could be me.
The concept is unconditional. You don’t have to be conventionally pretty to be taken advantage of. It doesn’t matter what you’re wearing at the time it doesn’t matter where you are it doesn’t matter if you think you know someone or not NO ONE deserves to be violated like that. I understand that harassment and sexual assault is not limited to women, but I feel the need to speak mainly on what I am familiar with.
I was in New York with my family. We were walking through the streets of Manhattan and we walked through a group of men hanging out and they all whistled at me. My mom threatened to hit them with a flyswatter.
I had a teacher in highschool who was particularly interested in our adherence to the dress code. In the middle of class he would make us stand up and touch our toes so he could measure if our skirts were too short. There were times when he called me out specifically and I was mortified. There was one day when I was sick and he called and asked to speak to me personally. He asked me if I was okay and taking care of myself and he made sure that if there was anything he could do that I should let him know. He asked me to be his TA the next school year, but before that could happen he was arrested.
I dated a guy in highschool that cursed me out profusely when we broke up. He told me that I thought I was better than him and that I was trash and a loser. He couldn’t fathom the idea that I was capable of making my own choices.
The male mentors on my robotics team always talked over me. It was a miracle if I got a word in. Towards the end, I could finally hold my own, but it was a process. There were days when I would cry to my dad because I was trying so hard to prove myself. I told myself every day that the next day I wouldn’t cry in front of them because if I did they wouldn’t take me seriously.
In Disney World I had a guy run up to me and ask for my snapchat because he thought I was pretty. I had never met him, we knew nothing about each other. It was supposed to be a compliment, but I felt objectified.
I was at a frat party at UD. I was hanging out with my friends when a guy tapped me from behind and we started a conversation. He was a really nice guy, very sweet, but when my friends came back and told me they were about to leave I felt very trapped. The guy I was talking to seemed sad and he told them that they could leave and he would watch out for me. I thanked him, but went with my friends anyway and a few days later he stopped talking to me.
I got cheated on because my ex was bored and had other options
I’ve now blocked 3+ guys on social media for constantly asking to hang out because I’m scared of how they’ll react if I say no. God forbid you reject a man. The second you do you’re called a fraud and told you’re not that pretty anyway and you’re selfish and not actually that great and are a waste of time.
So no, no I wasn’t raped, but I have every reason to write this post. Fuck Brock Turner. Fuck Donald Trump. Fuck Bill Cosby. I could go on and on and on. This is not just a race war, this is people standing up to what they never could. Is the country in disarray? Yes, but I say, bring it on. I’m sick and tired of people making jokes about things that are serious problems. I’m sick and tired of men thinking they’re entitled to me. I don’t owe men SHIT. I shouldn’t be surprised when someone treats me right or opens a door for me or asks for my consent. How messed up is that that the bare minimum seems like a reward.
So to the guys reading this: when I say, “I hate men” don’t get defensive, don’t say “not me though,” don’t make jokes. When I say I hate men I mean I hate the system that degrades me to nothing in their presence. I’m tired of feeling like a hero in my econ class because I’m the only girl speaking up. I’m tired of people assuming that I only work out cause I’m trying to impress someone. I’m tired of feeling like a failure because I feel uncomfortable and disrespected sending certain pictures fuck that.
I know there are good guys out there, I do. I just wish there were more because there’s nothing quite like feeling constantly used. It really puts a damper on your image of yourself.
I am not here to please anyone. I am not here for you, I’m here for me, and if I recognize that someone in my life is good for me then they will stay, otherwise, you can snip snip yourself out of my life. I’m not a piece of meat. I have thoughts and feelings and I can have intellectual conversations and I can use power tools and solve math equations and I’m not an idiot and I’m not a toy so I refuse to be treated like that ever again.
I used to be afraid to say that I was a feminist, but now I can say so with absolute confidence and if you’re a male that’s uncomfortable with that then good, think about what that means. Men ARE smarter and more capable after all, right?

HEWWO GAYMERS!
Welcome Back to the 2nd AwooGaming! Before we get into the Potatoes and Meat I wanna get one thing out of the way. Thank you guys SO much for getting my first article over 100 views. It means so much to me that people are willing to listen to some hyper fennec’s opinion on video games, and I only want to get better as we go along, Thank you Sooooo much!
Now with that out of the way, Let’s get started on AwooGaming #2, Pokemon Yellow! Very Topical. UwU
Pokemon Yellow
Hoo boi there’s a lot to talk about here. >w< Despite continuing to make bank just for brand recognition alone, Pokemon’s origins are pretty admirable. It was pretty much the baby of Satoshi Tajiri, and had a lot of blood, sweat and tears put into the first pair of games, Red and Blue. After the release in the west Pokemania was in full effect, with an N64 spinoff adding on content, an anime adaptation out and the sequels in development, Pokemon Yellow was made to give fans a sister game to the original duo. Not only that but also to coincide with Pokemon stadium, which released a month prior.
Gaynimeplay
This game was released when the Anime was in full swing, and is pretty much an adaptation. The main character’s default name is Ash instead of Red, Blue is now Gary, and Your starter is a Pikachu that can’t evolve. There are also various gameplay changes that make this more accurate to the Anime, like getting all 3 starters instead of forcing you to get only one like Red and Blue, Team Rocket now having Jesse and James, and some of the Gym Leader’s sprites, as well as teams being changed to better fit the anime.
There are also revamped Front sprites for every single pokemon, which closely follow their modern designs, as opposed to the, quite frankly, bad spritework of the originals. This makes the game look so much better in every aspect. Not only that but some versions of Yellow are Gameboy Color Compatible, which makes the palettes of each town distinct. This is definitely the best looking version of Gen 1 Pokemon regardless.
This is classic Pokemon gameplay of course, Collecting a whole team of different Pokemon and using different moves to create strategies to overcome challenges. There is no grinding necessary to make it through this game, which was very ahead of its time. There is also the very first implementation of a friendship system. Over the course of the game Pikachu will go from hating you to liking you, it’s not much, there’s only one real gameplay benefit, but it’s nice to go back and check up on him, cute points there. However there is one major issue with the gameplay, and that is your starter.
Pikachu is a terrible starter. He’s got low bases, you can’t evolve him, and he just sucks. He’s definitely the low point of the game, he’s pretty much useless in the late game, however your never forced to use him, if your heartless you can shove him in the PC. This problem would’ve been fixed if he was allowed to evolve but no, he ain’t. Gotta get that anime authenticity yo.
More like Stinkime Authenticity UwU
Gotta catch all the furries
SO how’s the furry representation in this game? Well Pokemon seem unanimously considered furry so let’s go with that. The Pokemon in this gen are quite weak if I’m gonna be frank. Most of them are either basic wildlife creatures, or inanimate objects
That being said, the good designs are legitimately great. All three starters are all just wonderful, the Eevee lines are all great, Pikachu and Raichu are great, Jigglypuff is how the pokemon should’ve been, as well as Sandshrew and Sandslash, Shellder as well. Ditto is a great concept, and the five legendary pokemon are just pretty much perfect. That’s really 25/150 that I personally think are worth mentioning. Sadly this gen was the first, and while I do think most of the designs are memorable, they are just way too simple, like Bird! Rat! CLOWN!
Stray Thoughts
This game is buggy, it’s not that noticeable on an average playthrough but there are some that do get into the way, as long as you don’t use status lowering/heightening moves past a +6 buff you should be fine.
Pokemon Stadium may or may not have extra content for the postgame, I don’t have it so I sadly cannot comment.
No comment on the remakes, I haven’t played them in a long time, I will get to them eventually though.
One thing I didn’t Mention yet is Multiplayer, using link cables was a major feature of the game. I’ll get more in detail on it later, don’t worry, I didn’t forget. UwU
Final Score
The game is old, very old, and clunky, but despite that it’s still fun to go through. The lack of grinding makes this an enjoyable romp with a decent challenge. The major hindrance is Pikachu being unable to evolve. Other than that It has great inclusions, presentation got spiffed up exponentially, and just in general is better than the Duos in almost every way, bar a couple exclusives.
Overall: 4/6
Sadly the pokemon designs are mostly too bland and simple. That being said the designs that are good have stapled themselves in gaming history, and deservedly so.
Furry Hotness: 1/2
OK here’s the part where peeps might get a little mad. Gen 1 has not aged well. Regardless of the remakes Gen 1 relies on one thing, interaction. Interaction with other people who are willing to go through a, while very charming, very dated experience, with limited options. The later games improve the groundwork so much which makes this game so difficult to come back to. I can’t in good conscience give this a recommendation. The only reason I can see where it can be fun is if you and a friend get it on the 3DS Virtual Console, where trading was carried over, and your still in for a dated and clunky game. The charm can’t save it. Play if your interested, but I don’t recommend. I’m Sowwwwyyy ;w;
Recommendation: 0/1
This game gets a 410 Score This game isn’t as recognizable as it’s older brothers, but if your interested in playing Gen 1, this is definitely the best version in my opinion, it’s a shame Gen 1 isn’t too great as a whole.
Please! Give this review a Comment down below if you agree or disagree. You can also suggest what furry games you want me to cover! Thank you for tuning in too this week’s AwooGaming! I’ll see yall next monday! Buiii!

Negrek Finishes Gates to Infinity
Okay, so a while back I started playing through Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity after @phoenixkratos generously loaned it to me.
Overall, I'd say this is probably the clunkiest entry in the PMD series, but it doesn't deserve the hate it gets. It's clearly rushed and in the ugly-duck stage of transitioning from 2D sprites to full 3D, but there are the seeds of a great game here. I actually finished the main storyline quite a while back, up to the point where the protagonist inevitably returns to the human world and the credits roll; just recently I picked it up to finish things up to the point where the protagonist inevitably returns to the world of pokémon. Full, spoiler-y thoughts under the cut. (Apologies for weird typos, my keyboard's inexplicably sticky all of a sudden.)
I'll start with the story, since I think that's what most people play the PMD series for, and I think they definitely took things in an interesting direction with this game. As usual, there's some cataclysmic world-ending event about to go down, courtesy legendary pokémon, but the source of the trouble this time around is very different than in previous PMD titles. Rather than being some external force, like a meteorite or out-of-control legendary pokémon, the culprit here is in a sense the common pokémon themselves: their despair and cynicism has manifested as the world-destroying bittercold that threatens to plunge everything into darkness forever. As the bittercold grows, its influence feeds into the very feelings that first spawned it, causing pokémon to distrust one another and grow ever more disconnected and sorrowful
At least, well, that's what the story wants to sell you on. My biggest criticism of the game is that the supposed dissolution of pokémon society just isn't actually there in the way the game plays out. The pokémon of Post Town are generally friendly, hospitable types, and despite having supposedly given up hope, they put an awful lot of faith in an overenthusiastic pikachu and his best bud.
Things start off great with an introductory mission where you confront Gurrdurr, who was injured in an accident, became unable to work, and turned to crime out of bitterness and desperation. Like, that's actually a really mature and nuanced plotline for a pokémon game, or most video games, period? Way better than fighting some generic evil-just-because bandits, and it plays right into the game's theme of pokémon having given up and turned their backs on one another out of despair.
The issue is... that's the only mission you actually get like that. The rest are pretty standard adventure fare, with rescues and treasures and explorations to be had. And it would have been easy to make things feel more genuinely cynical. For example, what if instead of taking Umbreon in and healing him up, he'd instead come to the town begging for help, and the townsfolk had turned him away, being distrustful of outsiders, and the player/partner had had to go out and rescue him and Espeon despite their disapproval? What if they rejected the whole notion of the Entercards and refused to help the players/eeveelutions with their quest, on the basis of it being pointless, with only a couple exceptions? Ultimately, Post Town as presented in the game is just too supportive and welcoming a place for me to buy that pokémon society is in any way fallen apart. I mean, they're complaining about their literal happiness rainbows disappearing. And I mean, that's sad and all, but really, now. If Chunsoft had really committed to the narrative the games were trying to pitch, it could have been soooo gooood. But they weren't willing to go all the way, and as a result I think it just doesn't work.
I also didn't care for the heel-face turn of the villains towards the end of the series. Again, if you're going to have me buy that munna and company were really devoted to each other and had decided that the world was too sick to go on, but at least they could all face the end together, you need to actually have some scenes with the villains cackling at each other and chasing the player character down and acting generically evil. Like, even just something like the heros manage to . And again, if they actually could have SHOWN the dynamic between munna and her companions at work instead of just mentioning it when the villains needed redeeming, it would have been soooo gooood. I honestly think a fanfic following the basic plot of the game but actually making all the informed attributes visible in the narrative could be really, really good.
I was also a little disappointed by the fact that we never got much of an explanation of what the partner's deal was. There were some hints that his past wasn't very happy at all, and that he was kind of clinging to the whole "paradise" idea as a way of coping with that, but iirc that never actually went anywhere. And I don't think it needed to, necessarily--I think little hints here and there could paint a really sad picture without wallowing in "and then his twelve brothers and sisters were left destitute on the streets and three of them died horribly of pneumonia" or whatever. (Alternatively this was resolved somehow and I just completely forgot about it, which probably means it didn't have the impact I presume the writers would have wanted it to have.)
I mean, I know, looking for subtlety or nuance in a pokémon game storyline, but they were so close! Come on, guys, you could totally have pulled this one off!
Also, a small thing that bugged me was the whole "Hydreigon as spirit of life" or whatever that was. It seemed out of place for a pokémon game, like I don't think we've previously seen any sort of direct evidence for mystical, god-like forces outside legendary pokémon. I don't know why this guy couldn't have just been an ordinary hydreigon who happens to know about the connection between the human and pokémon worlds.
I did find the route they took with the player character's role interesting; very meta. Like, the player is only one of many humans in the world, and they're also LITERALLY YOU, not some character who's turned into a pokémon for reasons, but literally a person interacting with the pokémon world through the medium of the 3DS. The fourth-wall-breaking in the epilogue kind of weirded me out, but it just unsettles me in general when game characters turn and stare directly at you through the screen, aaaa. (Ghost Trick being the game that most freaks me out with this, of course.) But this was the first PMD game to try and address things like, doesn't the player miss their friends and family back in the human world? And overall I think it was well done.
On the mechanics side, I found this game to be incredibly easy. However, my team was also axew/pikachu, and I'm made to understand that axew is easy mode par excellence. Low-level dragon dance and dual chop is absolutely absurd, and beating Kyurem in two attacks was a little anticlimactic. But assuming the difficulty is more reasonable if you choose something like oshawott or snivy, then that's fine--although I like the personality quiz, having a sort of easily accessible "selectable difficulty" option is a good thing, although it would be nice if it were more clear which were the hard vs easy picks. (Okay, I know, I know, dragon, but still.)
I'm of two minds about the fact that inactive party members gain experience along with the active party. On the one hand, the total lack of grinding is pretty cool. On the other, it means that once any of your team gets too high-leveled for a certain level of dungeon/mission, then there's never going to be any challenge in playing that kind of mission again, because all of your pokémon will completely curbstomp it with no problem. And although they did a good job of speeding up the EXP-gain process once an underleveled pokémon actually gets to a dungeon, it's still a pain to have to click through party members learning eight new moves and evolving at the start of an expedition. On the whole I think it's a good thing, but it did irritate me at times.
The speed-up inside dungeons is mostly welcome, too, but combined with the changed field of view it often resulted in my last partner cheerfully wandering off to die and me not noticing until I'm all the way across the map because my character's dashing like a maniac. This became much less of a problem once I discovered reunion scarves and the fact that even equipping them from the other side of the dungeon will zap a wayward party member back to their rightful place, but for a while there I was rather stressed about keeping track of my party members at all times.
One common complaint I saw about the game was that there wasn't much pokémon variety. I didn't think this would bother me much, personally, but I actually found it very noticeable. Although there's a pretty large absolute number of species available (around 100, I think), when you consider how many different species are necessary to round out a dungeon, and then how many dungeons you'll go through over the course of the game, the lack of variety really does become noticeable. This was especially an issue for me at the beginning of the game, where a couple particularly irritating species (looking at you, litwick and klink) were EVERYWHERE. It meant that different dungeons felt same-y, even if the environment tiles were quite different. It didn't help that the pokémon are very heavy on Unovan lines, which by and large aren't my favorites.
Also the text speed... there is no effing excuse for the slow, fixed text speed. Same deal as with SuMo there. The cutscenes did not need to be longer!
But all in all I think the mechanics were an improvement over previous incarnations, and even the storyline, to some extent. It was just the blatant unfinished nature of the game and a couple seriously irritating elements that got introduced as a result that stopped it from being a top-tier entry in the series. It's disappointing, really, because I think they were trying to do something different and cool with this one, and just couldn't commit enough time and attention to make it work.

rate the Zelda games!!
Sure why not?? I'll be rating the ones I've played in order of their release dates, not in the order I played just to be more organized. The Legend of Zelda: I like the aesthetic and exploration, but if you don't have the manual you're kind of screwed. Also a lot of puzzles use moon logic (basically you have no hint on how to solve it, such as lack of cracks in walls to show which to bomb) bombable walls are in a lot of places and they have no indication that they are bombable. I haven't played in a while so I don't remember much. Overall I'd give it a 4/10 A Link to the Past: my personal second favorite. It's aged really well and I love the visuals! The map is really pretty imo so it's fun to look at. Also there are so many unique items and fun dungeons and you overall it's just wonderful. 10/10Link's Awakening: another game I don't remember quite as well. It's pretty charming tbh but otherwise I just don't remember enough to give it a real rating. 7/10 to be safe. Ocarina of Time: it's fun. A lot of people love it and I understand why, it was revolutionary in its time. However I played it after I'd been exposed to other video games and it just didn't have that same charm. I have some problems with it, such as Hyrule Field. There's nothing to do and it's annoying to travel across in the beginning before you can teleport places and everytime you save and quit you wake up in Link's treehouse and you have to travel all the way from the forest to wherever your quest is! It is pretty fun later when you have Epona though. It's fun, but not quite as amazing to me as it is to other people. 7/10Majora's Mask: my absolute favorite! It took a lot of what Ocarine of Time had and imrpoved upon it. Termina Field has a lot of stuff to explore and it doesn't feel tedious when you're running through. It also helps that you get teleportation early on because it saves time. Speaking of time, where a lot of people hate the threw day mechanic, I honestly think it's a cool feature and I mastered it pretty quickly. It adds a whole new sense of danger to the game, which is the point. The side quests are just amazing as well the people are cool and when you have to turn back time it hurts that you can't help them again. But going forward and saving Termina in the end makes it all worth it, as you witness everyone finally getting their happy ending. Also the final boss is fun if you don't use the fierce deity mask. 10/10Oracle Games: I've never finished them so I don't really have a solid opinion. I won't rate them just to go easy on a game I haven't finished but they were pretty cute. Twilight Princess: hugrhehrgsghshd,, I really really dislike it. It's really popular and I got pretty excited when I bought it over the summer because I thought it would be fun, but pretty quickly I grew bored. The beginning is slow and boring and you don't get a sword for a while which just makes it worse. Also the fact that you're forced to fish really sucks because I couldn't get the hang of it! I spent 11 minutes trying until my sister did it for me, and she took 6 minutes. Oh yeah and the motion controls are awful sword fighting and wolf fighting is annoying and it feels really jerky and awful. Oh yeah they're even worse with weapons like the bow and boomerang cause you have to point them at the screen and it's pretty slow going and tedious. Also the dungeons suck. 3/10. Spirit Tracks: adorable and underrated! It is really easy but hey it is aimed at a younger audience and I was 10 when I first played and I had a lot of fun. Zelda is adorable and I love travelling with her. The train rides do get a little tedious but at least I can shoot things. 7/10.Skyward Sword: third favorite, I love it. I complained about the motion controls in tp but because of the wii motion plus everything is smoother and allows a wider range of movement. Unfortunately my hands do shake a lot so it is difficult to hold my hands straight when I hold the sword upright to do a skyward strike but it doesn't bother me. Also you don't have to actually point the wiimote at the screen to use items you can have it hanging in your limp hand and the motion plus just makes everything more convenient. Overall it's very good at immersing the player. Also the story is just so fun? Zelda is amazing and my personal favorite Zelda. The story is beautiful and heartbreaking and I love the characters. I know a lot of complaints are around the backtracking but honestly I love the areas so much it doesn't bother me, seeing as how with new items you can do more exploring than before. Man I freaking love this game fight me. 10/10 A Link Between Worlds: super cute! It's fun and really relaxing tbh. The rental system is pretty annoying tbh bc I die a lot but it kind of makes grinding for rupees better because you actually have a purpose for them. Also I love Ravio he's so relatable. 8/10 Yep that's about all. I'm saving up money from my job to buy botw and a switch and I can't wait! Hoping to add botw to my list of top favorites. Sorry for getting long omg
#man I love Zelda it's great#I will go to my grave hating tp tho#Loz#here's the mail it never fails#anonymous

aight aight lets do this
zombie au
i wanted??? to develop the side characters more because i love them and they make me super happy when they get on screen and i went to sleep and woke up in the dead of night like. Ah. I Know.
the gist was dekapan creates a virus that mimics those weird wasp things that inject venom in caterpillars and wasps and leave them zombie-fied until they end up sacrificing themselves for the wasps babies. it works like my theory for gakkou gurashi and idk the zombies should follow their everyday routine expect that they also kill people. i’ve scrapped that idea and like, recreated how the zombies work but shhhh this part is a Super Secret.
he’s having trouble with money and! he loves science! he loves messing up and starting over and finding that one xyz fit that makes everything click how he wants to! but that costs money, and it’s money he doesnt have, so? he calls a kid he used to babysit and get along with for some help. hatabou gets him a job with a sketchy government probably trying to cure the common cold or make it impossible to burn your skin in the sun or something so of course he does the work given to him, because money is money, but the moment it gets on tv and is announced to the world dekapan calls everyone like 'hey guys dont take the vaccine something fuckys going on' and then the zombie outbreak starts and everyone gets split up and they find each other eventually after Bad Things and everyone gets fucked up about it.
people who we dont get to see pair up find each other and begrudgingly work together.
jyushimatsu and todomatsu are w matsuyo!! she has them go on a trip to the mall with her, and it’s very densely packed and a trains ride from home (jyushimatsus here to carry bags and todomatsus here bc oohhh a mall far away). the outbreak happens while theyre in the mall, and momma and todomatsu get separated from jyushimatsu for a little while -- they do find him again, and momma decks a zombie in the face. todomatsu cries. if i were to write this, i’d focus like??? 2 - 3 chapters focusing on them being in the mall, finding a group of other survivors, and then leaving the group. depending on length and my Stamina which is. not good.
next group is totoko and karamatsu!!! and. its not because of.... anything. but totoko!! if anything is really strong and i can see her carrying an iron will and inspiring other people to follow he lead and! i like the dynamic they had with that like One Interaction. idk the beginning all too well?? like how they meet up and stick together, but i have everything after that pretty clear in my head. this would be??? the second arc of the story maybe? it take a while for them to actually get along and things go Bad in the start because ahaha karamatsu is a Fuck Up, and after that karamatsu just stops trying to talk to her and just trails behind while totoko vehemently refuses to let him help her with anything. and i actually?? dont wanna say too much about this because. ITS SURPRISE. but after they start getting along karamatsu gives her a fishbone braid, and she talks about missing her brother and they do some Feelings Talk.
idk what the fuck to do with osomatsu, ichimatsu, and choromatsu??? someones learning medicine and surgery from dekapan, someones getting yelled at by chibita while hatabou mediates, and someone starts stealing things with iyami and then starts crying in the back of his van after a close call, but idk who because they all keep flip flopping positions in my head. like, at first ichimatsu was getting yelled at, but then i put him with iyami, but then im like ‘ohhh doctor ichimatsu’. then osomatsu was with chibita n hatabou, then i was like ‘but oh he and iyami have a great dyamic’. and choromatsu was with dekapan at first bt then i was :/ with that and put him with chibita. those three are hecking me up idk what to do.
paranormal investigators
We Are All Dependant On Our Brothers
the matsuno bros start up a ghost bustin company thats set up in a run down project and they’re all crowed up in a shitty apartment funded by hatabou and todomatsus part time job with equipment provided by dekapan because after high school it was decided that ‘shit lets hunt some ghost’ and everyone was like ‘yea sure.’
it was spawned by a dream i had where choromatsu and karamatsu are on a case and choros like 'k we gotta distract the ghost' and karas like 'got it' and while choros doing. whatever. karamatsu comes out in a bathrobe and sashays like 'ooh noo ;)) i sure hope no ghosts are going to get me while im naked and vulnerable ;)))' and choros like. 'who gave you permission to be such garbage.' and. oh. he did.
and then later in the day a stray thought where osomatsu and karamatsu got confronted by a ghost thats like ‘ICHIMATSU MATSUNO!!! YOU, MY ENEMY WHOVE IVE TRACED DOWN FROM BARBADOS TO THE ARAN ISLANDS TO-’ then osomatsu cuts him off like ‘bro we arent ichimatsu’ and the three of them stare at each other for ten minutes before karamatsu offers to call him for the ghost and the ghost is like ‘!!!! could you?? i mean, im still damning you both to hell but’ and then ichimatsu picks up the phone, and as soon as the ghost starts talking he expels it in 0.0000000000000000000000001 seconds.
superheros
the brothers are b-rate superheros who end up in the newspapers sometimes. iyami and chibitas That Dude who ends up in hostage situations all the time and begrudgingly drive them home and make sure they eat even though they claims to hate them. its actually.... based of the storyline for my ocs so i wont actually talk about that again. nnu9mubvufe8n.
again, they live in a shit ass project but they live right next door to each other instead of crowding in One Apartment, its two with three each. they are all actively looking for day jobs because while the government pays well they struggle being adults. but this time adults with superpowers.
rpg/video game
like. back in the naru.to fandom there was a point where video game aus were really popular, like the whole grinding/gaining stats/unlocking new areas thing n all that and it surprisingly worked really well when written right?. so i was thinking about that and spacing out and i was like Oh Fuck. so this au got birthed. osomatsus the king, karas the knight, jyushi is a prince who gets kidnapped, ichis prince #2, choromatsus a wandering mage, n todos the royal advisor.
jyushimatsu gets kidnapped in the dead of night, and osomatsus like ‘what the flying fuck karamatsu get over here lets go get him back.’ so they leave, and have ichimatsu look after the kingdom for him. hes like 'wait what please im' and is thrust into power anyways. he and todomatsu are surprisingly competent leaders and the kingdom does really good under him, even better than with osomatsu?? though he locked himself in his room for the first week and todomatsu just kept banging on the door OPEN UP YOU FUCK YOU HAVE PAPERWORK. and its an insanely huge amount because osomatsu keeps putting it off unless someone watches him and he does all the stuff like funding the armies and expanding territories before stuff like regulating taxes and funding schools and hospitals.
jyushimatsu escapes on his own after a day n is like HMMMM HOW TO GET HOME..... but then he enters a little run down village and meets homura and falls In Love and they spend time together and he eventually just forgets to come home because hes so happy with her
meanwhile with the idiot eldest duo. karamatsu doesnt know how to fucking.... spend money so when they meet choromatsu whos like the stop n shop npc he gives him all the money he has for an enchanted pair of ankle warmers that he could put his face on and that can react to his emotions. osomatsus like ‘what the entire fuck bro’ and goes to get their money back, but then ends up spending all his money on a charm thatll increase his gambling luck.
‘we’ve been bamboozled, my dearest king. our money taken right before our eyes as a miser deceived us and robbed us of everything we’re worth,’ ‘wanna beat him up, karamatsu?’ ‘of course i do.’
choromatsus like ????? wtf its not my fault you two dont know how to spend money. but they fight, and osomatsus like ‘join our party!!’ and they take a few days to convince him but he does join and he and osomatsu hit it off really well, and osomatsu decided after everything, hes going to adopt choromatsu.
(’but we’re the same age, my king’ karamatsu says in response to his proposal.
‘FINE, then ill get mom to adopt him, geez.’
then they meet chibita and n chibita and karamatsus like ‘if youre taking choromatsu, im taking chibita in if he says yes’ and osomatsus like ‘ask mom first’)
the three of them go to the place jyushimatsu was taken to, beat everyone up, and then realize he isnt there. so they just. dejectedly walk into a nearby village for rest and chibita gives them free beer.
they meet jyshimatsu an hour later on a date with homura and yes. they decide to adopt her as a sister too. (is someone marrying into your family considered adoption?? idk but everyones family now, no excuses.)
royalty/split at birth
i hate angst i just wish everyone could be happy, i say as i look through my notebook with angsty plot points as i reference my life.
the gist is: the cold color trio living in slums rather than a palace but then oso finds out OH SHIT WE HAVE MORE BROTHERS WE GO GET THEM and everyones stressed the fuck out
as soon as osomatsu finds out he has troops scour the kingdom for the them, with the directions ‘there are three more people with my face, go get em’ and he sends troops out. to everyone outside the castle this is a very ?????!!!!!!!!!! thing???because the royal family has solidified themselves as Bad Selfish people who tax unfairly and dont care about the poor. like, the rich people are all like oh! i wonder what the royal family is planning theyre so good to our kingdom ha ha! while the poor people are freaking the fuck out.
the cold colors only get a brief warning about the troops coming and the first thing ichimatsu does when he hears this is go and break all the fancy plates and choromatsus like ‘wtf are you doing!!!’ and ichimatsu just looks at him like ‘i love and respect my family so im doing what i need to’ and karamatsu takes that as his cue to take his mothers valuables and hide them under the floorboards and in the walls where the stucco breaks away and choromatsu writes a note to their mom Just In Case.
they actually do get taken and theyre fucking shocked. like, instead of the royals taking everyones valuables like they expected, theyre taking them??? and the troops are no help theyre just like ‘kay go take two sets of coats and three sets of day wear’ and they have them leave straight away.
an abrupt abduction is gonna stir up shit in the village especially if they only take the boys and leave their parents and friends. imagine how paranoid they'll be. ‘oh no what if im going next' 'i hear that theyre taking our boys now and selling them off to foreign labor' 'theyre taking our children as punishment for not being able to afford tax' ‘i heard things breaking in their home what if they got taken away for resisting’
imagine all the drama and discomfort theyll feel when they see the other bros living in the lap of luxury why their friends and family suffer like :)))
its frustrating and tense for everyone because osomatsu expected them to integrate without issue. jyushimatsu doesnt understand why they get so mad at him and refuse to be his friend. todomatsu doesnt understand why all these poor people are a problem. as long as youre happy and healthy it's fine! theres no need to concern yourself with what doesnt directly affect you. if you dont see it its not happening so its best to ignore it.
ballet
osomatsu does ballet again and is happy and has found something he loves and enjoys and everyone supports him. basically, he starts feeling nostalgic and then starts watching youtube videos and goes ‘haha pah! i can do that’ and then he realizes ‘holy shit this is something i wanna spend the rest of my life doing’
sophie even wrote a fic about it and its great and every time i read it my heart pounds ten thousand times a second and i start smiling so hard my cheeks hurt.
detectives
jyushimatsu’s an overworked forensic scientist, choromatsu’s an exasperated detective, osomatsus is watson, todomatsu’s head of the branch, and ???? ichimatsu where are you??
karamatsu’s fucking dead but he aint important.
they solve mysteries n do detective stuff.
theres also another au thats like platonic soulmate thing but eh
#mbbbaf#long post#no like for real its a long ass post#these are all awful and they could all use Work but i like them#what is this
