“You’re asking if I’ll be Baroness?” Lydia arched an eyebrow sharply. “No. I stated before that my loyalty is spoken for. But there are other opportunists in the barracks of the Armadillo Territory.” Sebastian smirked then, knowingly.

every time i rewatch into the badlands i relish the slow dissolution of lydia's accent as orla and the production team stop giving a fuck
#into the badlands#grem leans#first season she's very clearly going for an understated version of quinn's southern american accent#second season she's holding on to something that sounds generally american#like mildly out of focus but basically american if you squint#but by the third season orla's just out there wildin'#it's not fully irish but they've all clearly run out of fucks to give#her ts are especially accented and it's my favorite#could be im just very acclimated to her accent bc i hear it all the time and im listening for her real voice but also#with s2 & s3 filming in ireland#and most of the extras being irish#i think her voice weasled its way in#petition: let orla and emily use their real accents#nick probably got to keep his bc bajie is from outside the badlands#but it works for widow bc she is too!#lydia#idk totemists?#pull a deanna troi: 1 parent's accent doesn't match then parent 2's doesn't either and it's never explained and it doesn't really matter#im just spoiling for orla accent freedom in everything she does it's fine#lydia itb#itb#orla brady

Okay so I bought Into The Badlands Season 1 and 2 yesterday and Season 2 came in today. {Because the seller is literally in my area. lol}
I just started watching the deleted scenes! So far there is a delete scene with Lance Henriksen! It shows Lydia trying to plead with her father {Lance}. To which at one point he asks her. ‘Who taught you how to kill?’ and she replies;
‘Quinn’s first regent Waldo. When I moved to the fort, he told me everyone in the badlands should know how to defend themselves...and he was right father!’
I can’t even lie how much I love that information. It’s something that shows how Waldo is as a person.
Oh god! LOL
There is an intense deleted scene with The Widow, Tilda and Waldo going down a hallway. The Widow following behind sword in hand as Tilda looks to be pushing Waldo in this chair as they go along.
I understand why that was cut out but it’s awesome.
OMG
The last deleted scene shows Waldo having his hand cut by a sword and being sworn in as Baron of Quinn’s territory!
I believe in the same room that Ryder’s wife got sworn into after his death.
What’s odd is that he’s with a decent group of The Widow’s men. Who I guess have sworn allegiance to him. He looks so good though! Dressed in red once again and the men cheering to him.
‘All hail!’
Waldo deserved to be Baron! Don’t kill him off this season! Say he’s gone into hiding or something!!! Just don’t kill him!!!
