Jasico (Typical) American Boy x Exotic Venetian Boy
in which Bianca and Thalia are friends and this is the first time Nico comes to the US to visit his sister who’s studying aboard. His English isn’t good so when Bianca’s busy she asks Jason - Thalia’s exemplary student of a brother aka the only one who knows some Italian - to shows Nico around so that his ADHD brother wouldn’t burst.
Bonus point if Nico’s extremely affectionate regardless of status because that’s just how Italians and specifically his family are - tight huggings, cheek kisses, etc… - and Jason’s having a sexual crisis.
Another bonus point when someone mistakes them for a couple and Nico’s totally clueless whereas Jason is red like a tomato.
Another bonus point if Leo asks Nico with wiggling eyebrows that “Do you love Jason?”, the kid just lights up and exclaims with broken English “Yes I love Jason! He’s a good person!” ———To which Leo cackles and Jason’s spluttering stammering trying to explain to Nico that Leo def doesn’t mean it like that——
Final bonus point if Nico confesses first while Jason’s still burning from the inside with his crush and that just makes him explode. Figuratively ofc.

I’ve been reading so much solangelo fanfiction lately and I need to get this out of my head and out to the masses:
I love when writers talk about Nico’s potential accent and his relationship with Italian as a language. I love when authors write Nico with the accent cause he’s so <3333 and the little Italian nicknames are always very endearing. I really like the healing takes two series by rabbit_soup on ao3. They write Nico’s accent, but I just love the general characterizations of them and it’s just so 🤌🏻🤌🏻
And now I’m gonna say something completely opposite of that LOL‼️ I just read Bigger ‘N Texas by Notalotgoingonatthisinstant and LOVED IT. This one, Nico doesn’t have the accent anymore and he doesn’t speak any Italian because “the only people who could speak if with him are now dead” and he resents even thinking about speaking Italian. And I just think that is such an interesting dynamic that I haven’t seen a lot of people play with.
Ok now I’m getting to what I’ve actually come here to say el oh el. I need the writers to pay close attention otherwise I’m gonna have to write it myself. Imagine this: Nico, young, sprightly, and VERY Italian has been dropped off at the Lotus Hotel with his equally very Italian sister. During their 70+ year stay, they lose their accents (just from hearing all the other accents and stuff cause I think that’s how it works??). Canon ensues, yada yada yada. Post BoO (probably), it somehow gets mentioned that Nico doesn’t really sound that Italian, and Nico’s like “what??? How can I not sound Italian?” And then it hits him that any ties back to his mother, his childhood, his birth country have faded away. Bonus points if Will is there and involved because I am literally obsessed
Anyway that’s it, dawg.

There’s something extremely heartbreaking about Nicos cameo/first words in the show being him looking for Bianca. He’s always going to be the little boy looking for his big sister. Season three is going to be the end of me.

Why are people criticising Lando for being open about the mental and nervous pressures of F1.
Two days ago people were up in arms over the impact Logan’s dismissal will have on his mental health.
Last weekend the trophy was lauded for highlighting the struggles and sacrifices top athletes go through.
Not long ago we found out about what the pressure of F1 was silently doing to Valtteri.
Read Jenson and Mark Webber’s books. They couldn’t eat before races because they were scared it would make them overweight, meaning every race was hangry and at real danger of passing out.
Lewis has gone through phases of pushing everyone away, including his Dad, because he thought he needed that solitude to achieve a “champion’s mentality”.
Nico Rosberg walked away from the sport as he couldn’t face putting himself or his family through the sacrifices to be a champion and the personality changes it caused all over again.
People need to accept that this is a sport, it is tough and it leads the drivers to dark places.
Would you rather drivers be silent and not disturb your personal enjoyment of the sport or can you accept that they push themselves to places you couldn’t?
When I first started martial arts my teacher taught us, when things get tough your brain will tell you you can’t, because it wants the easiest most comfortable option. Your body can and will do what you ask of it, pushing past the mind is the hardest part.
Time to accept and support or shut up.

FP3 Sky Commentary:
Crofty: I think we will be getting some news about Adrian Newey next week.
Nico: And what will that news look like, Crofty?
Crofty: I don't know, Nico.
Nico: Yes you do. You told me yesterday.

Nico Rosberg being in Monza the day of Kimi’s announcement talking about the pressures he’ll face, praising George as a hard benchmark who is excellent in qualifying and already a match for Lewis Hamilton, hinting at both Adrian Newey and Red Bull second seat “juicy” news, saying that he’d love to see Seb at Audi, praising the laps of so many drivers, dropping that he’s been asked to buy a stake in Alpine before casually valuating it and saying it’s too messy to invest in?!, saying that people are too hard on Daniel Ricciardo, predicting that Lewis will do well here because Monza suits his style of driving and then continually complimenting him, terrorising the other commentators over things they obviously do not want to talk about, stirring up drama between Oscar and Charles, and it’s just been one hour of FP3.

I RETURN FROM THE SILENCE TO POST MY THOUGHTS ON NICO’s APPEARANCE!
The reference in episode 6 to Nico isn’t some blurry background character or even the old car in the parking garage.
I am GENUINELY convinced
that the reference to the di angelos is at 12:32
Where behind the conversations of Grover and Augustus is the voice of a little boy going “Bianca! BIANCA!”
I’ve had SEVERAL people fact check me on this so I don’t know if we’re all hearing things or that’s what’s being said.
Either way THIS IS THE HILL I DIE ON

Nico’s villa in Italy
Nico’s villa house in Venice, Italy headcanon because i say so.
- It’s in the old style because that’s how most of the houses in Venice are and Nico feels less disoriented that way.
- But it’s still fucking modern tho.
- And enchanted to ward of monsters and such. Hades is not having his children in danger if he has anything to do with it.
- It has two stories with a terrace playground whose roof can be closed or opened according to the weather, since obviously Nico needs to fix his fading issue.
- It’s too large for one person and three hellhounds dogs because Nico has claustrophobia. And also Hades is ridiculously rich and opts to spoil his son.
- Yes he has dogs.
- Yes they are hellhounds.
- The villa is surrounded by green, save for the brown fences. The trees stand tall next to the street lamps, the grass tickles his feet and the flowers bloom beautifully along the gray brick path. Persephone made them eternally fresh and Nico prays the people wouldn’t notice anyday.
- There’s a sand playground in a corner of the garden, with a little sort-of tent with sofas and lounge chairs and cushions and so on, in which Nico likes to enjoy his books while the dos run around. He likes the feeling of staying close to the ground.
- The villa is located at the city’s edge so Nico has a small balcony perking out to the open space, with a lovely staircase leading down so that he can actually sit in the water and enjoys the ocean view whenever he wants.
- There’s also a system of fresh waterways in the backyard, running peacefully under the garden’s shades like natural streams, just because Persephone doesn’t like the idea of her flowers having no water supply. Nico prefers dipping his feet in the water without salt clinging to his skin, anyway, so he doesn’t complain.
- The villa is spacious. Most furnitures are made of wood to give off a cozy feeling. A lot of sofas and soft lounge chairs. The wooden doors are always wide open and different layers of curtains shielding the glass windows. Paintings, decorations and plants lining the walls.
- The whole house is floored with expensive carpets year-round because Nico’s body temperature is always lower than a normal human being should be, and also he likes the feeling it brings.
- The living room had one chandelier which Nico had removed soon after he moved in, claiming it was too gaudy.
- A TV built-in that is actually some sort of black screen just for Hades or Zagreus to call whenever they want to check on Nico. Nico complains all the time, but he still picks up the weird shadow-calls - or whatever Zagreus calls them.
- A fireplace. Of course there’s a fireplace. And another in his bedroom. Nico dislikes leaving the warm spots when the winter comes.
- The kitchen can be seen from the living room, equipped with a full set of ovens and a cabinet of pasta making tools and pantries and whatsoever. Nico loves the cooking lessons with his caretaker - a lovely maid who is a clear-sighted mortal, courtesy of Hades, (who else, really?).
- The reading room is upstairs. Large bookshelves occupying every wall. A large window at the opposite of the door to catch more winds. A passageway hidden behind one of the shelves, connecting to a secret safe room just because Hades is paranoid.
- A music room that houses a piano since Nico wants to try after listening to Zagreus play in the Underworld.
- He definitely has a king-size canopy bed. I don’t care what you think. Nico definitely sleeps in one.
- The dogs have their own beds in the same bedroom of Nico’s, just because he likes to keep them close.
- The guest bedroom isn’t any less antiquely luxury looking. If anything it’s just smaller than the main bedroom and no canopy.
- Yes they have a dog room, filled with toys and whatever a hellhound might want to play with. There’re just so many things people can do with empty space and Nico wouldn’t waste a spare room if it means his hellhounds can find some entertainment the outdoor is unavailable without wrecking havoc.
