Well, shoot. He REEEAAALLLY wasn't known for his luck if the other didn't even seem a tad interested in his Very Real and Very Enticing Offer. :tm:
❝ What do you mean by 'the real Peppino.' ❞ Wario replied even LOUDER, almost in protest of the other's hushed tone. Is everyone in this pizzeria crazy to some extent. Would he slowly join the others with each minute that ticked by? Was he doomed to go insane before he could ever be reunited with his darling motorcycle?
❝ I don't know !? Like, maybe around my height?? ❞ His flat hand wavered from his shoulders to his nose. Somehow, his frown digs deeper as he noticed the other's odd behavior. Yeah, that sold it. This place was a freakshow and he didn't respect any of these people.
❝ Why. Why are you doing that. ❞ He pointed. ❝ Speak up, kid. I can't hear you on account of the rat.❞
Something didn't add up here. Several somethings. Omino just blinked at the repeated nose poking (ow) and the blatant bribes, and responded with a simple:
"Why would Peppino want your bike?"
Sorry Wario, but the offer of 90th roster slot would've been the magic words to get just about any Century Smash Mii on-board with practically anything, regardless of how little sense the situation made, but this was Omino's place.
Well, not here. The other side of that counter, the space that'd apparently become Wario's within the span of one single day. That would be the one. The pizza guy who gets to use the cash register.
(Were they really up to 89 fighters? Had Omino been out of the tournament for that long? — Never mind all of that, you're getting sidetracked. Focus, Omino.)
"I mean, it's — it's a cool bike," he said, realizing his first statement might've been a little too blunt, "but Peppino isn't the kind of person to steal someone's bike keys, or scare them into making pizzas, or — "
Hold on. Maybe this situation did make sense.
"Wait. Are you sure that was the real Peppino?"
His voice had dropped back down to a whisper, cautiously glancing left and right as he spoke. Never know when those weird clones in the vents were listening...
"How tall was he?"
#despite all his rage he is but an italian in a cage.#i think i should tag all of this shit at "wario's existential nightmare' because every second that passes he loses more of his MIND#he's so offended the mii didnt take is Very Real offer#thetravelershub: omino.#thetravelershub

New AU concept: Felltopia.
The idea is simple: The Failfleet Miis lost the fight against the Darkest Lord in the finale, leading to a darker story for The Incident and the overall storyline. Now, the fate of the universe lays in the hands of an even more dysfunctional group of adventurers brought together by demon looking to take back the power that was his.
Orion - a haunted suit of armor grown over by vines and weathered from the elements. Once donned by a member of the Greenhorne guard, only his daughter knows of its true nature. After eventually finding peace, flowers bloomed through the cracks in its helmet. A being of few words, but protective until the end.
Friend - a fallen angel whose voice was sealed away by a malicious force, twisting their power to for its own use and silencing it with a permanent smile of false serenity. But the forces of righteousness may still be able to have their victory...
Shrimp - a young siren deemed as a monstrosity by the citizens of a coastal village and a failure by her species—specifically, for having a scream capable of shattering glass. After being cast out by both humans and merfolk alike, she's been on the run, resorting to scavenging and vowing never to sing her melodies again.
Erica - a now-disgraced undead cleric who shed her robes after being unable to save her kingdom. A living corpse contained in the armor of a fallen knight, both her mind and body alike gave up on the idea of healing. The wounds of the past only remind her of what could have gone right, leaving her bitter and untrusting of any potential allies.
Chi - an alchemist gone mad from the loss of her partner in crime, she torched almost anything in her path in honor of her old companion. Impulsive and manic, but a trace of stifled innocence and longing for a new start are still left through the ashes.
Failboat - a once-optimistic and confident team captain, he left the world after losing a battle against the gods ages ago. Now elusively hiding away in the sand dunes of Neksdor, he survives only by the power of a broken artifact... which was crudely shoved into the paws of a lynx costume. While a part of him stays desperate to atone for his mistakes, it's drowned out by the memories of those he led astray.
Bo - hailing from an aristocratic family that's fallen on hard times, she's the sole undead among a small army of ghostly servants. Starved for love and nutrients alike, plus on the verge of a breakdown nearly every waking moment. Given a vampiric curse for not surrendering to the Dark Lord, the rest of her family disappeared from the public shortly after. Why? Only Bo knows, and she's not willing to talk about it.
Chat - an amalgamation of discarded facial features considered too unruly to bring life into any monsters. Now inhabiting an obsolete piece of battle machinery, the animalistic cries from victims of every corner of the globe can just barely be heard over each other. The only company they've had is themselves.
Big Bill - a witch doctor for an endangered avian race, he made a vow to aid anyone working to stop the new apocalypse in hopes of finding the resources to heal his people. The rise of the New Dark Lord unleashed a plethora of dangerous plagues, but he's endured plenty already.
Mar - the stoic, yet unhinged head of the rebellion against the new Dark Lord... and also the one one responsible for powering the one before it. Taking on the appearance of a middle-aged Italian chef, to him, destruction is merely a necessary ingredient in his recipe for vengeance. He'll get his title back through any means possible... but does that include showing kindness to his former enemies?
@rosetheocto helped with a lot of development for this AU, so big shout-out to her! I dunno what I'll do with this, but I can feel there's definitely potential. If anyone wants to make art for it, feel free to do so!

New changes for the next Tomodachi Life game
Mii Profile Concept Part 1:
Gender
* Male (He/Him)
* Female (She/Her)
* Other (They/Them)
(Players should have the option to change whenever they like unless in a relationship due to coding.)
Relationship Preference
* Male
* Female
* Other (Bisexual / Pansexual)
* None
(Option to change unless the Mii is already in a relationship.)
Age Range
* Elder (65-100+)
* Adult (18-64)
* Teen (13-17)
* Child (5-12)
(Option to change unless the Mii is already in a relationship.)
Relationship to Others
There should be an option for Miis other than the Player’s Mii to have a specific relationship with other Miis. For instance, two Miis are biologically related to each other. This is to avoid incest from happening.
Voices
Miis should be able to speak in different languages. It shouldn’t be region specific. It would really bring more character to the Miis.
* English (American)
* English (Europe/Australia)
* Japanese
* Korean
* French
* Italian
* Spanish
* German
* Russian
* And many more…
(Whatever language is selected for the gameplay will use the respected subtitles for any language chosen for the Miis. Miis will also be able to say phrases given to them regardless of what language chosen for them; they will say it in an accent.)
To be continued…

oh yeah fun fact we learned while looking stuff up, in the original run of Paper Mario ttyd, as many know the english translation completely removed any indication of Vivian being transfem. On the contrary, the Italian version made it even more apparent. In the Italian translation Vivian practically turns to the camera and says "sono una transessuale" huge respect for mii fratelli e sorelle italiani circa 2004

Some people rewatch friends. Some watch dumb reality shows. I watch a grown ass Italian man hassle a bunch of miis in Tomodachi life for the nth time in my life.
The drama is something else.

alright so... I'm just getting into keroro gunso although it's been a favorite of mine since I was a kid...
I decided to make this blog to log my thoughts on the episodes one by one as I watch them, to keep track, maybe post some screenshots and clips :3 they'd be in italian for the first 3 seasons then I'm gonna go back and rewatch in jp.
I have no idea how active the keroro fandom is 😵💫 if this turns into me just talking to the void that's fine. if not... hi! my favorite is keroro and I have insane levels of cute aggression for him and love whump, hence the name of my blog...
kinda wanna hold him up by the head like a mii and see him wriggle. anyways!
hope to be welcomed.

“I-it’s ok! I’m not gonna hurt you!”
In what world Omino would be considered intimidating, he didn’t know – and it’s likely obvious to everyone but the Mii that the clone’s horrified screaming didn’t have anything to do with him at all - but he was still cautious.
Maybe the frog just didn’t know what Omino was saying…
He’d dealt with all kinds of Peppino clones, before. (He lived with one, even.) Hopefully this one was more on the ‘relatively harmless oddball’ side of the scale, and not like a certain ‘I’m gonna make soup out of your corpse’ or ‘I’m gonna pretend to be your weird cousin and try to kill you’ frog. Omino reached into his pocket and took out a book – one that was way too big to logically even fit into said pocket – and quickly flipped through the pages.
The book’s title? ‘TOUR DE PIZZA’S DOUGH FROG DICTIONARY: A HANDY GUIDE TO ESSENTIAL BACKWARDS ITALIAN AND ENGLISH VOCABULARY.’
“Uh...” Ok, he could pronounce this. Nothing would say ‘I am trying to help you’ like – “Itratuia… id odnacrec ots.”
// For M!A Swap Sacch!
it would be inaccurate to describe his current predicament as painful. the sensation he was experiencing was not pain, because at least he knew what to do about pain. pain was clarifying, focusing. it was a sign of a battle well - fought and a life long - lived. he bore his wounds with pride!
no, what was happening right now was horrifying. wrong — WRONG on such a fundamental level he could scarcely place vocabulary to it. about all he could do to express it was scream.
when this rather friendly, round looking fellow began trying to soothe him, sacchetti's cries died down to a low and pathetic burble, singular eyeball rolling around the vague mush that was his face in an attempt to at least look at the other.
" ... hgghhhh ... " the sound rolls up from half - formed lungs failing to produce enough air to form proper sound, issued forth like a bubble of air rising through tar. not very impressive. certainly not comprehendible. a sharp squelching sound, a clearing of its throat, precedes another attempt: " hhhElP. "
#;ask#;m!a: swap#thetravelershub#body horror tw#( omnio's so NICE why does he keep ending up in Situations )

Hongjoong Unique Nicknames
In writing an earlier post, I came to the conclusion that, out of all the members of ATEEZ, Hongjoong would be the most likely to look up/find nicknames in other languages to call his s/o because he would want the nickname to be unique. This mans doesn't want to call his partner something common or generic (or simple)!
I can see him falling reeeeeally hard when he finds 'the one' and to him they are ethereal, stunning, unique, one-of-a-kind (no1likethem😤) and he would want to address them as such.
Sooooo, struck with inspiration, I wanted to make a post of some pet names in other languages (masc. and fem.) that I could see him calling his s/o 💖
(My personal favorites/the names I can most see him using will be starred ✨ sparkled? )
~ If my translations or pronunciations are wrong/weird/wonky I apologize, I'm using a number of different sources here including google translate 😅 nicknames below the cut ♥️ ~
~One more side note: it's easier to find nicknames in some languages as opposed to others and I'm also more familiar/proficient in certain languages so I'm sorry if there are fewer nicknames for certain languages! I'm trying to get a wide range of languages on here and I love learning new things, so if you know of additional nicknames in other/your languages leave a comment! I know it can also be a cultural thing: finding cute nicknames in Romance languages (ex. French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) is much easier than finding nicknames in Germanic languages (ex. German, Swiss, Dutch) simply because of the cultures ~
First of all...treasure. Treasure is a common pet name all over the world so there's no shortage of variations to choose from. And like...COME ON! It just fits so well! A Captain needs his treasure 😍.
Treasure
Arabic - كنز (Kinz) : pronounced kahn.zohn
Danish - Skat : pronounced sk.eht
Dutch - Schatje : pronounced sch.hight.chee.en
[one source said this ⬆️ translated to 'little treasure' while another translated it as 'baby' ]
Esperanto - ✨ Mia Trezoreto : not sure on the pronunciation here, I couldn't find it anywhere...best guess would be mee.ah treh.zoh.reh.toh
{ If you're like me ten minutes ago and don't know what Esperanto is, it's a "constructed international auxiliary language" ; which means it was created to be a means of communication between people of different cultures who do not share a common first language. Created in 1887 by LL.Zamenhof, Esperanto was intended to be an international second language. (This concept is absolutely fascinating to me and if you or someone you know speaks Esperanto lmk cuz I'm curious how widely it's used, if at all). }
French - ✨ Mon Trésor : pronounced treh.zohr
Polish - Moja Scarbie : pronounced moh.yeh skar.b.ee.yeh
Greek - θησανρός (Thisavrós) : pronounced fay.sah.vrohs
Hindi - ✨ खज़ाना (Khazaana) : pronounced kah.zah.nah
Indonesian - Hartaku : pronounced har.tah.koo
Italian - Mio Tesoro : pronounced teh.zoro
Portuguese - Meu Tesouro : pronounced may.oh chez.ouro
Russian - мое сокровище (Moye Sokrovishche) : pronounced mahy.oh sah.kro.vih.che
Spanish - Mi Tesoro : pronounced tehs.oro
Turkish - Hazinem : pronounced hah.zee.nehm
Ukranian - мій скарб (miy skarb) : pronounced mee skar.b
Vietnamese - kho báu của tôi : pronounced koh bow kwah toy
Okay, totally went overboard with this nickname...😅 but I just love this idea so much abfursffkj
Anyhow...moving on
Arabic (Side note...y'all...I'm so sorry for probably butchering these...Arabic is hard as fuck, how do y'all do this!?) -
حبيب/حبيبة قلب (habib albi) pronounced hah.beeb ah.til.hah.lee.ah.tah : Love of my heart
يا حياتي (ya hayati) pronounced eey hie.ah.ti : My Life
حلو/حلوة (ya helo) : pronounced eey hooh.loon/hah.la.whe.toon : Sweet
✨ يا قلبي : pronounced eeyah kahl.bee : My heart
✨يا قمر (ya [g]amar) : pronounced eeyah koh.mah.roo : Moon
https://natakallam.com/blog/terms-of-endearment-in-arabic/
Mandarin
宝 (bǎo) : pronounced bahw : Precious ~or~ 宝宝 (bǎobǎo) : Baby
(I think bǎo also means dumpling?)
亲亲 (qīn qīn) : pronounced sheen sheen: Dear/dear one/kiss
太太 (tài tài) : pronounced tie.tie ~or~ 老婆 (lǎo pó): pronounced lahw poh: both mean Wife
~or~
老公 (lǎo gōng): pronounced lahw gohn : Husband
小公举 (xiǎo gōng jǔ): pronounced shahw gohng chu: Little princess
(Couldn't find a masc. equivalent)
✨ 心 肝 (xīngān): pronounced shin gahn: Darling, or, in a more literal sense - heart [心]and liver [肝]
(In Western cultures this would likely be a little weird and creepy, but in Chinese culture it's rather poetic in the sense that those are the two organs you can't live without. Therefore, it's like saying you can't live without them)
https://www.mandarinblueprint.com/blog/chinese-nicknames/
Spanish
Mi amor : pronounced mee ah.mor : My love
Amorcito : pronounced ah.mor.see.toh : My little love
✨ Mi sol : pronounced mee sol : My sun

Linda/o : pronounced leen.dah/doh : Cutie
Princesa : pronounced preen.seh.sah : Princess
-or-
Príncipe: pronounced preen.seh.pay : Prince

Mii Lore: Iris Archwell
Iris Archwell (also known as a variety of names we’ll get into in just a second) is the player’s assistant in exploring the haunted mansion of StreetPass Mii Plaza’s Monster Manor.
Iris Archwell’s name is changed consistently to be a pun in different languages. In Japanese she is シーラ・ベル (Shīra Beru)- a play on the Japanese verb “shiraberu” meaning “to investigate. In America she is of course known as Iris Archwell “I research well” and in England she is Ella Mentree (elementary, like with Herlock Sholmes). In Italian she’s Linda Ginetta, a pun on “l’indagine” meaning “the investigation. In Brazilian Portuguese she is Sheila Campana, a play on “acompanha” which means “accompany” (which is her job in the game besides detective-ing) Not to get personal in a lore post, but my personal favourite is probably her Russian name: Маша Прозорливая (Masha Prozorlivaya), the joke being that her surname is the Russian word for “perspicacious” which means that something is easily understood and clearly expressed.
Monster Manor, the game that Iris Archwell featured in, is one of the games that Prope produced for the 3DS, alongside titles like Ultimate Angler.

It's 4 am but I actually had a nightmare. I was with my brother and my dad at night and watched a dude kill my brother with a knife so I started booking it to Harriet Tubman so she could help. I think my dad lived though, because I told him at home while he was in his bed and he didn't think it was a big deal. also got to play guitar with The 1975. Iremember Matty Healy's hand on my right shoulder as I was playing and he was singing 🥺. I also played Mario Kart Wii and when you started the game, there was a tutorial that put you on a track that looked like one of those Italian roads in Luca. Everyone was on a unicycle and then like ten seconds later the game was like "haha try this!" and this robot on wheels (looked like a futuristic Sonic robot with round features) blazes past us and our Mii characters gaze at the screen in awe. Scared the shit out of me. Also took my friend through my student art expo and my art was bad. Real bad.
