i also revamped my grimmer itabag…! i chose this bag because it reminded me of his duffel bag a little. plus it fits a whole lot more in there :) i love him sooooo much, i’ve already been stopped by two people who loved monster and knew who he was! i had to stop myself from gushing about him, haha. they were both so sweet though and one had an itabag of their own.

Every so often I just realise again that while for other people things like itabags covered in their favourite characters might be the Fangirl Brainrot, for me it is another way for The Patterns and Putting Things In Places Autism to show itself.

Like. It means I can go "oh, this can go here and that goes in that bag [box] and this for that-" and just. Yeah.

Not to say that it isn't fun! I mean, that's what the fun IS. It's putting things in the right places and making things look nice and picking out the right things to go with the right bag and finding the right bag in the first place at times (currently in a conundrum of "I would love a clover-shaped bag, or one that has that design on it, but they do not exist" so I'm figuring out what to do about that) and then it's "yeah I have a few things that'd fit this theme/series/etc but not a lot and now I would have to find more if I want to not have lots of empty spaces, which means finding things that aren't official OR fanmade but simply Fit The Theme" and honestly? that can be fun too!

The other day I found a theatre masks pin badge that I'm gonna put on a Joker-themed bag. I wanna put a dagger pin on that one as well, and I have the Tactica flag pouch to attach on it. Part of my idea for the Black Mask itabag is to put all the Akechis on it - but also, a heck ton of crows. I'd thought of getting and using the evoker pouch to match, but that didn't work out.

Best thing about the bags is that they aren't just "buy 20 of the same thing and inflict pain" or whatever, they're art projects that I want to put effort into and be able to smile at whenever I see the finished work.

Edit: Like. I also have a pin board. Which still needs to be put up. Which is ALSO going to be a display of pretty, pretty art and a showcase of "these are things I am or have been into, no matter if it's a fandom or animals or whatever." I'll probably be putting the ones that I don't want to risk getting damaged there, as well as the ones I'd just want to display on my wall and not/wouldn't work on a bag.
