So, for the first time in a long time I haven't had someone to watch episodes of One Piece with, meaning Tumblr has to suffer the full hit of my first impression. Which starts even before this title screen.

As someone whose siblings were so excited for me to see Gear 4 and whose reaction of "wait this isn't it, right?" wasn't exactly popular why would you do this? "You know, Doffy is pretty much kicking my ass right now and I DO technically have another form that's more powerful, but if I use it NOW hos strings might block out some of my natural lighting and I really want to hit that perfect shot for this last move ..... "

Medical devices should not require an iOS or Android app to work. It took me twelve fucking minutes to set up and get my phone to connect to my migraine treatment device, 12 minutes during a horrendous migraine and I had to fight with my phone to get it to work instead of pressing a fucking button on the device. It might need a small controller to change strength but thats not fucking difficult to add.

Relying on a phone is bullshit: what if I'm out of battery? what if bluetooth is broken or something? what if I'm in too much pain to get the treatment app to work defeating the purpose? What if I'm paranoid about privacy so chose a non iOS/Android phone? What if I have issues with smartphones so use a classic cell phone? I know people that require that.

Requiring a disabled person to have iOS/Android in order for treatment to work is an unnecessary and borderline discriminatory practice.

Edit: After seeing all the personal anecdotes in comments reblogs and tags, I've come to a new conclusion— it is discriminatory.

if you ever go to an art gallery and you see a painting and you think "that sucks. I could do that." maybe you can! I think a lot of people could do like. Matisse. Mondrian. Rothko. From a technical standpoint at least. Not everyone but a good number of people. But please consider: Artists™ aren't special people. They're just people. Just regular folks with something to say and a trained skill who showed that skill to the right people.

So instead of being like "that sucks! that's dumb! I could do that. It shouldn't be in a gallery." instead try, "I could do that. I should be in a gallery." and then do it and go and show your art to people.
