i know a lot of people have mentioned this, but i’m just obsessed with the way taylor refused to sanitize herself on this album. she’s telling you everything. she got off to gross men whilst already in another relationship. she fell for the most obvious lies because she wanted to believe them. she was mad at anyone who tried to warn her. yes, she’s still mad at you for clutching your pearls and watching her like a circus animal btw. she’s having his baby—no she’s not! she just likes trolling. she does really want babies, though. like a lot. she felt like she’d been abducted by aliens and found cosmic love, but in reality, she was manic. and then he fucking ghosted her! and he didn’t even measure up in any measure of a man!!!!! and now she’s devastated by him and his predecessor! she feels like a wondrous prophet one day and the desperate victim of a curse the next. btw he knows how to ball and she knows aristotle. and fuck kim k! also man sex with certain men kinda fucked her up, but at least the writing that came from it defined her legacy. the manuscript isn’t hers anymore. she hopes this insane ass manuscript won’t have to be hers, either! free her of these stories.

Au where Harry is constantly struggling bc of Tom's good looks and gestures of affection. He totally has a crush but really REALLY doesn't know how to deal with it.

He's seen either frowning or looking constipated whenever he's by Tom's side and people naturally mistake it as distate/hatred (which technically wouldn't have been wrong back in his old timeline).

In reality, Harry is so down bad for his past nemesis that he's always close to hyperventilating at the proximity between them. With Tom manoeuvring situations behind the scenes so that they can constantly be near each other/are partners in every class they're in, Harry has no chance to relax his heart at all and thus, suffers. It just so happens that his face, misleadingly, reflects that pain. Lmao.

You look like Clara bow, Stevie nicks, Taylor swift. Taylor saying each one in the song as something someone giving her a record deal would say, but it changes with time. At first it’s Clara bow they’re looking to replace, who they want someone to be a replica of. Then Stevie Nicks, and then Taylor Swift they’re trying to replace. I think what Taylor is trying to say with this is that the industry changes extremely fast, they want a new replica everyday, and they always want that person to be like the current “it girl”. So many record labels/agents are using Taylor and modelling their new artists off Taylor because of her immense current success. If they can re-create that, find someone who looks like Taylor but maybe with “edge she never had” then they think their new artist will have her fame, can take her place. And before Taylor, they did that to people like Clara Bow and Stevie Nicks.
