An Autistic Person's Guide To Talking

Say hello and ask how they are. Some people ask even though they don't actually care, you can use that against them.

When they most likely ask you how you are, just talk about your day. What you've been doing and stuff. If they are bothered by this, they might not tell you, but if they do, remind them they shouldn't have asked if they didn't care.

Ask them about something they did recently. Could be a casual "what've you been up to?" Or a more personal "how's [something they do] going?"

When they respond, pick some word or fact from that statement and construct a new question.

Repeat the last step to continue conversation.

That's it, that's a conversation!
