Kinger

Imagine lost your partners TWICE. Lolololol loser/J

Everything seems to occur in slow motion from Kinger's point of view, a heart he once had is somehow beating against his body. He prays to any god on this earth, be it real or not, or even Caine maybe, that this nightmare isn't happening again to him. Please, everyone, but not you.

Kinger tries to do everything so his lover don't reach the great peak of their insanity, even though he's not very good at it, knowing his personality. But trust me when I said, he tried. Who cares if he will get all glitched for touching your form, he needs you.

He never thought he would live another nightmare inside a nightmare. And in seconds that felt like painful hours to Kinger, here "you" are, a noisy form covered in eyes that flash in different colors. Your skin (if we can call it skin) moves abruptly as if it were a bag full of enraged cats. And, god, how he wished it was him instead.

Things are resolved by the talking human jaw, and yet the silence in Kinger's little pillow fort is no longer comforting as it once was. Silence now makes the small chess piece itch in agony. Silence that could be enjoyed with your presence, with holding your hand or dancing with you, and chat about random stuff he and you knows. The feeling of missing someone is familiar to him, and yet, it hits him in ways that his years in this circus haven't hit him.

Caine

While Kinger tries to do everything, Caine actually does anything to try saving your corrupted mind, and the lack of power in this situation leaves the digital being in panic. A simple snap of the fingers is not enough, and this information makes him tremble in ways he never thought he would tremble before for a simple human.

You aren't just any character, you are his favorite, the lil' buddy he spoils every hour and that always push a giggle from him. You were his very own star. The show could continue the same without you, Caine was sure of it, but could he? Without a character as entertaining as you in action?

"Of course I can fix them, I am Caine!" It's a phrase that was repeated several times in the presenter's programming, But with every grunt coming from the thing that once was you, it's just a reminder to Caine that he did a horrible job trying to take care of you. There were other characters that were abstracted of course, but... You were special to him. His favorite star. His star.

Caine even feels hesitant to put you in the hole of other characters who were abstract before. He preferred to keep you in a cage away from other people's contact, with no one hurting you and no one hurting you.

He knows, he knows the painful truth that you cannot be considered a sapient being, but even though you are a trace of what you once were, Caine doesn't have the courage to lose you forever.

With the other characters, Caine will act normally, with his loud and lively personality. Only if they analyze Caine close enough, the characters would notice something wrong with him.

And then, sometimes, he just stares at you in the cage. Caine ponders if he should admit the lost of his favorite star, it would be easier, but the pride in his chest screams that there must be some way that he could actually save you from...this.

Ragatha

Somehow, the scene is all silent for her. Ragatha stares at you as if the impossible itself is happening in front of her.

Ragatha holds your hands about to disappear, she caressed what was left from your shoulders, she hurriedly whispers words that would normally calm you down, but nothing can save you from the fate of your sanity, just leaving her with the pain of being glitched.

Of course, she had her other friends like Pomni, but lost you?!

Ragatha thinks she saw everything during her new experience in the digital circus, but something common like losing someone so important was the end of the line for her. You were her darling, her sunshine and her little everything even.

Everything she did sounded slightly more boring and boring without your presence, and Ragatha could do nothing about it. She continues (at least tries) to remain strong after that, still trying to complete the little adventures that Caine gives to the participants. But Ragatha's slow pace and lack of smiles was very noticeable.

The weight on Ragatha's chest is too much, losing someone so sweet and perfect for her in such a horrible way is too much. And the worst part is that Ragatha believes that she could have done something to save you, she could have been with you more often so that your mind didn't fall apart like this. But now, she can do nothing but mourn.

Now,with that out of the way,I would like to direct(pun intended) everyone's attention towards the scene where Ramon slaughters the board of directors. Now we all know that he did almost kill all of them. All but one. The Director who is represented with the odd looking E.

Absolutely,we're all losing our shot over who this is. Did they send Ramon the message to talk to Bullfrog? What will they do now that the rest of the board is dead? Will they be an upcoming enemy? Well,I'm here to tell you that the answer to that last question is YES.

Because we see this EXACT E LATER ON IN THE EPISODE. More specially,near the end where it's revealed that Sarah Fisher(or some part of her anyway)is a fully robotic spider-thingy. Now,when you watch the show for the first time,this reveal could distract you from the little details hidden away. I for one didn't even notice this until tonight,when I was watching the last episode out of boredom and because I love this show sososososo much! But now for the big reveal....

Ladies,gentlemen,those between and out,Sarah Fisher was not only the warden of super maxx,but apart of the BOARD OF DIRECTORS!

But this only bring me to my next pint as,what this isn't Sarah at all? We know that the directors did some very much FUCKED up SHIT when they were alive. So,what if they didn't make Sarah a cyborg? What if,they transferred her consciousness into this robot? And what if she's not alone? It is here I present that this robot is kinda of similar to the mimic from fnaf. And if you don't know who the mimic is,they're a robot that was designed to look after a child,got beaten when the kid died and has learnt violent behaviours from humans resulting in them doing more horrendous violence back. Anyways,I propose that this robot was made to be a helper of sorts towards Eden-more specificallyin the military-only,the board couldn't be bothered programming an AI to be this robot. So what did they do? They transferred human minds into the robot to help it learn how to help when fighting. Only something went wrong. When Sarah's mind was transferred into the robot,it glitched out. It felt all of her agony,her pain,and her wondering if her dad was right. If she should rebel. The robot did what it was suppose to do too well. The robot ACTUALLY THOUGHT THEY WERE SARAH FISHER. Obviously,parts of the robot were aware they were not,but the robot was insanely good at pretending. I made this comparssion to the mimic bc what if this robot learnt not only to copy Sarah's behaviours,but others too? Perhaps even,someone from the board of directors? That is how this robot COULD be the same person who called Ramon. It MIMICKED THAT PERSON'S VOICE!!!!

“Good afternoon, Revachol. As always, I’m Lorelei Rousseau, and you’re listening to Insulindian Abstract. For this segment, I’m very excited to introduce a special guest.”

Lorelei turned her head to look at the guest in question. The cryptozoologist’s wife smiled warmly in return, adjusting a thin blanket over her lap.

“Madam,” Lorelei continued. “I understand that your expertise is in the field of cryptozoology. This means that you study supranatural entities, correct?”

“Oh, you give me too much credit. Expertise makes me sound so much more important. And please, call me Lena.”

Lorelei nodded, smiling back. “How long have you and your husband been in this field of study?”

“Quite a long time now.” She removed her glasses to clean them on her shawl. “I know that our passion for that mysterious world is what brought us together.” Her eyes gleamed fondly from the memory.

A dreamy sigh escaped Lorelei, a soft heart for love stories. “That’s beautiful. What sort of discoveries have you two made together?”

“Well.” Lena inhaled, her chest swelling with pride. “We have decisively confirmed the existence of the Insulindian Phasmid.”

“Really?” Lorelei leaned closer, genuinely curious. “How did that happen?”

“You see, sweetie, we spent quite a long time out in Martinaise, around mid March, my husband toiling through the reeds on the shoreline to find this beautiful creature.” She chuckled. “Then, two kindly officers from the RCM agreed to help us, and wouldn’t you know it, they found the thing themselves!” Another giggle. “They got a picture and everything. Unfortunately I didn’t think to bring it, since I can’t really show everyone on a radio program.”

Lorelei laughed softly. A few kilometers away, the sound traversed the radio waves, carrying tinkling laughter and cryptoconversation to the offices of the 41st, only to be drowned out by snickering and ribbing. “Sounds like somebody found a big old bug!”

Uh idk why you think ur hc of them meeting at the garrison can't work cuz shiro could have joined the program after he was 18? Lots of ppl go to college at different ages not just straight out of high school 👍

You’re right to acknowledge there’s no ‘correct’ age for college students. My own program ranges from 24 to 40+ and the freshmen classes I’ve taught have had 18 year olds and 40+ year olds as students.

That being said, there’s a few reasons why I’m questioning if they met in the Garrison as students. Minor spoilers for Season 3 I guess?

1. Can the Garrison be called a college?

I’ve never read the Garrison as necessarily equal to college in terms of their goals, average student age, etc.  Instead, I considered it a specialized government institution with two(?) purposes:

Train teenagers for military/space careers (Lance, Keith, Hunk, Pidge, possibly younger Shiro and Matt)Hub of special government projects that may or may not use Garrison students (Kerberos mission)

2. A second point in the Garrison not functioning as a college: Colleges normally don’t accept large groups of 15 year olds?

Per the guide book images floating around tumblr, we found out Lance and Hunk were 17 at the start of the show. In the pilot, Lance claims Shiro was his hero, meaning he either heard of his exploits as a former student or Shiro was around in some capacity (trainer?) before Kerberos, when Lance was 15-16. Remember, Kerberos took place over a year before the pilot. Further, Hunk and Lance seem to have an entire class of students their age (not including Pidge, who lied to get into the school), meaning the Garrison is primarily concerned with teaching teenagers. We don’t really see students older than this group (17-18) either.

3. Shiro was famous for succeeding in the Garrison while Pidge was a kid, years before Keith entered the academy.

In the first episode of season 3, Pidge reflects that Shiro was famous in her family when she was younger, as her father (who worked there) and brother (Shiro’s age and likely in his class) spoke about him frequently. This likely places Shiro as a student in the academy well before Keith joined.

There’s probably more to say or maybe I forgot something because I haven’t seen the pilot in a year but the 7 year age gap is leading me to believe Shiro and Keith didn’t meet as students, maybe student-trainer or student-mentor. Considering how deep their connection is and the ferocity of Keith’s loyalty, its also possible they met before the Garrison or maybe Shiro was the reason he joined?

To be honest, I always assumed Shiro was much younger than just proven and they met in the Garrison as students (different years but still) so this is throwing me for a loop and I’m rambling

edit 1: someone made a really valid point that its possible Keith was a prodigy and joined the Garrison when Shiro was attending, when Keith was very young. While that works because of the skills we’ve seen him display in terms of flying, Lance actually disproves that, I think? In the pilot, he considered Keith his rival and met him while they were in school together, though Keith doesn’t remember him. Lance and Hunk were also familiar with how he was dismissed before graduation, and I think with that knowledge, the timing doesn’t match up.

I could be wrong though so believe what you want to???
