Cough cough AU where Dr Rabbit and Vanny both take full control over Vanessa and Gregory's bodies and escape PQ ending style while Vanessa and Gregory consciousness' are trapped in their respective arcade machines and Vanny n Rab try to live a domestic life like 3 star fam and move on from everything they did but they know that taking over Vanessa and Gregory's bodies to try and achieve a more "normal" life style is wrong and that they need to give them control and their lives back but are scared of losing the freedom they've never had in their lives that they've just now achieved cough cough

#Chip Chatter #Vanny trying to act like everything is normal and fine and nothing is wrong with what they're doing knowing damn well that it's wrong #while Dr Rabbit is very openly aware of the fact that this isn't right and that they need to give up control and free Vanessa and Gregory #they know that this life they yearn for- a normal life outside of Glitchtraps control where they can just be normal people- wasn't meant #for them. They were created with a purpose and that purpose was to serve Glitchtrap and kill anyone who got too nosey #they weren't made to have normal lives #but now that they have *some* sense of normality #they just don't want to let go #no matter how wrong it is #maybe Vanessa and Gregory could make them little robot bodies or something after they're freed so they can still live outside the walls of #the pizzaplex<3 #sorry just- the idea of Vanny and Rab being basically just #*people*. People with thoughts and feelings and wants and goals #it's just so interesting to me..#they've never thought about life outside of their purpose for more than a fleeting moment beforehand- they knew their purpose and #everything they could ever need or want was all within the walls of the Pizzaplex. Freedom wasn't *necessary* and it wasn't for them #but after getting a taste of it- a chance at living a normal life #they'd take it out of curiosity- like a small outing before getting back to work #but then they just... get used to it #it's comfortable. It's relaxing. It's *new*. Nothing like what they were made to do- nothing they've ever experienced before #but they love it. They love it so much that they just.. don't want to look back.#normality is *nice*. It's *refreshing*. but it's so wrong at the same time.#no matter how domestic things are- they can never fully get rid of the nagging feeling in the back of their minds that this is wrong. that #what they're doing isn't right. That this life they're getting a taste of could never be permanent.#and it's so weird cause they've never given a shit about “right and wrong”. Hell- we all know what they've done- how they're parasites #created to infect Vanessa and Gregory and do Glitchtraps bidding. That isn't *right*. They always knew that. So it's so odd to them that #out of everything they've done- *this* is what feels so wrong #yet so right at the same time.#they're having one hell of a time with their confusing ass morals #hafbergujrfdsujhf okay anyways I'll shut up now I just love them<3

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

Great news for uninsured adults in the USA who want a COVID-19 booster! It now appears that ALL CVS locations are now active participants in the Bridge Access Program. The Bridge Access Program gives out free Covid-19 vaccinations to 18+ adults who otherwise can't afford one, so if you have a CVS near you, please go get one! For others who don't have a CVS near them, please go to vaccines.gov, click on "Find Covid-19 vaccines", fill out which vaccines you prefer (you can mix different vaccines if you have to so i reccomend just marking all of them for the age groups you need), and when the next page loads mark the "Bridge Access Program Participant" option to see only locations that are Bridge Access Program participants. Hopefully, other places that aren't CVS will start participating soon, so just check back every so often to see if there are any updates. The CDC Bridge Access Program website also has more details on what locations will be participating, but only CVS is appearing as an active participant on the vaccines.gov location finder at the moment.

Leo's relationship with death

Leo really doesn't like to think about death.

I mean, we all saw how much impact Karai's death had on all of Mad Dogs but Leo was the only one that had to be dragged from her, yelling after her, he really, really didn't want to lose her.

And I think when he lost her it left a deep scar.

I saw posts talking how Leo wants for things to get back to normal and pretend nothing happened, which I completely agree with. I think it's in big part because of his fear of repeating losing a close one.

He REALLY doesn't want to even acknowledge death.

Here Raph seemed to be getting through to Leo-

-but the moment he mentions possibility of his family dying?

Nope, time to deflect, joke and feign ignorance.

Leo's aware that death is a big part of being a responsible hero and that's why he'd rather goof off with his brothers and not train.

Because obviously when you ignore something it just dissapears, right? So if they ignore severity of certain situations and possibility of dying it won't happen, right?

If they don't treat it seriously they'll be fine! Totally!

Then Raph shields Leo from the Krang and sends him away.

And it's as if Karai's death stared right in his eyes.

So Leo picks up the slack of leadership in order to save Raph. He behaves carelessly during this time but can you really blame him, he desperately wants to save his brother, to stop yet another family member from death that he is so scared of.

He still tries to be positive and nonchalant, that "pfff obvioulsy everything will turn out alright!" but at the end of the day, it's not that simple.

Casey's speech had hard time to really hit Leo, he's still avoiding confronting resposibility, literally and metaphorically turning away from it. But the moment Casey says Leo's whole family died?

Now that made an impact.

And every time his family is in terrible danger he looks absolutely terrified and basically every time Leo has to be dragged away to not just return and try to save them again.

And when there's nobody to drag him away?

First thing he does is sacrifice himself. Because I don't think Leo is scared of his own death, or at least he is not as scared of him dying as his family. He'd rather give away his life than live through another grief.

Obviously I'm not sayin that the rest of the fam isn't terrified of close ones dying. But while they seem less aware (Mikey) and/or more ready for the possibility (Raph)...

Leo's wholly aware but he'd rather not be and ignore his fears until he can't anymore.
