Scout: Egg McMuffin, Hashbrown and Soda. He often inhales it before they’ve even left the parking lot.

Soldier: Keeps demanding the “American combo” despite the others repeatedly telling him that’s not a thing (what he means is a regular cheeseburger combo with fries and a coke).

Pyro: Always wants a large McFlurry and nothing else (if the ice cream machine is broken, they will cry).

Demoman: Spicy buffalo chicken wrap with chicken nuggets. Is permanently pissed that McDonald's doesn't sell alcohol.

Heavy: Orders two Bic Macs and then squishes them together to form one giant burger. “It is not Sandvich, but it will do.”

Engineer: Keeps it simple with a Quarter pounder and fries. Is always offering the rest of his fries when he inevitably can’t finish them.

Medic: Orders nothing but demands to sample a little bit of food from everyone else “for research purposes”.

Sniper: Iced coffee with the Filet-o-fish, not because he particularly enjoys it, but he knows Spy hates that sandwich with his entire being.

Spy: Judges everyone else’s choices and orders a single black coffee

Due to his professional athlete schedule, your husband regularly arrives home at a late hour. Nevertheless, this time you were the one who arrived home later than usual, and he kissed you right away.

"Oh I missed you more, I need to change my clothes. Love, prepare dinner for us." you replied

He hurriedly went to the kitchen and got some eggs, then thought to himself, "If I fry them now, they'll be done fast." When he looked at his dish waiting to get done - he immediately rushed to your bedroom to kiss and hug you. He missed you so much!

You yelled as you heard his staggering footsteps.

"Bokuto Kōtarō I'm changing my clothes, you better not look!"

"'m not looking! i don't plan to!" he answered

You continued taking off your clothes until you reached your husband's huge shirt, that you were ready to put on when you felt large hands snatching it.

"Honey not that! I'm gonna wear that tomorrow!"

"Didn't i told you not to look?" you questioned him

"B-but"

You ignored him when you smelled a burnt food.

"What's that smell?"

"Shoot! the eggs!"

Your husband rushed to the kitchen and began shouting.

"Hun, you can wear my shirt I don't mind!"

Before yelling back, you rolled your eyes and wore his shirt.

"Don't worry, I don't mind eating perfectly cooked eggs," you said emphasizing the term "perfectly" because you know he botched up cooking again.

"Perfectly toasted hell yeah!"

Your exhausted husband is lying down on your king-sized bed, eyes closed, resting after a long day.

"Dear?" you called for him

He replied with a low accented 'I'm here,' and you found him on your bed.

"Are you not going to eat?" your sweet voice sounded like heaven to his ears, and he nodded.

"Just after game, we had dinner. Have you eaten yet?"

"I did," you lied, you're actually waiting for him. But since you're not hungry, you opted to just claim you did eat.

He opened his eyes and gave you a little smile that made you smile back, and you sighed and stood up, remembering all of the chores you still had to do.

"Just rest, 'toshi. i know you're tired.."

You planted a delicate kiss on his forehead, and he reached for your face, demanding another kiss immediately then.

You smiled as you walked to your closet to change into your nightgown. Forget the housework, you need to be in your husband's arms.

"Always so stunning my dearest.."

You stopped taking off your clothing as you stared at your husband, who was laying comfortably on the bed.

"H-hey, don't look!" you managed to say in hushed tones.

He chuckled and sat up gently, reaching for your clothing on the floor and folded them.

"How can you even look majestic with or without clothes-"

You didn't have the strength to listen to what he was saying any longer, so you aggressively covered your ears.

He smiled, his fatigue dissipating. You were always his safe haven, his anchor, and his soul mate.

"I apologize for peeping," he added quietly.

You nodded, still embarrassed about what had happened.

"I love you"

Tetsurō always treats you well. He'll always ensure that he brings you presents when he gets back home. Regardless of the fact that you have already told him that he is wasting money, he will continue to give you gifts.

"You're squandering a lot of money, Tetsu."

"So? I earned em anyways."

"You really need a finance manager, should I hire one to assist you hmm?" you suggest sweetly.

"Yeah sure, whatever comes into that lovely head of yours," he yielded, kissing your cheek, then your lips tenderly.

He planted butterfly kisses on your neck as his greed grew before tenderly caressing your beautiful face, which he believes was beautifully sculpted by the Gods.

"Now put on what I gave you, wear em for me."

There's no way you could say no when he's cheekily leaning toward you. You felt a warm spell hitting your face. You've been married to him for over two years, but it appears that your eight-year relationship hasn't quite prepared you for his seduction.

"W-will do, don't you dare look!"

Taking the paper bags, you quickly made your way outside to get dressed.

It hasn't even been a minute before you heard your walk-in closet door slam shut.

"Hey, I said don't look!" you shouted

"Babe, I bought those to see you wear them."

"Yeah, and I came here to take off my clothes and wear what you purchased so you could see them, so go out now and wait for me to finish," you said, covering your exposed body.

"I want to see you wear them because I get to see you naked," he stated coolly.

You furrowed your brows and gave him a death gaze.

"What? I've seen it all— Hey, babe, why did you turn out the lights?!?"

Tōru isn't shameless about peeking when you're changing, he even stops whatever he's doing just to look at you when you're changing. You scolded him about this countless times but his reply was always the same

"I'm your husband! I saw everything under those damned-not-so-gorgeous clothes!" he snaps back at you.

You raised a brow and he rolled his eyes — what the actual fuck?!

"Look at your attitude Oikawa?! What a child! You are just too immature for your own good!"

He rolled on the bed before making this disgusting expression at you to annoy you even more.

"What do you mean by Oikawa?! There are two of them here!"

You're doing your best not to throw some of his clothes on his beautiful — but bothersome face right now, and his replies aren't making it any easier.

"Then I am talking about the pervert one"

"Oh so you're talking about yourself?" he scowled

He's going to say something stupid again when a large amount of his clothes flies over his face.

"Get out of here Oikawa Tōru! I can't keep up with your childishness" you growled

He immediately rushed to you and apologized, kissed, and hugged you. That made your butterflies in your stomach go wild, but you're outraged right now, and he's not getting away with it.

"Can you not throw me out, beautiful? please, i won't peek again.." he kissed you again

No that's not gonna work, of course not!

"Wel..uh - maybe.. you can.. just sleep on the couch"

Your husband grinned, and of course, he peeked again after a few days.

Shinsuke isn't the type to purposely look when you're changing, or so you thought..

"Shinnnn don't look, i'm changing!"

You hid your face behind your hands, embarrassed that you couldn't face him.

"You look breathtakingly beautiful my love.."

That made you blush so much that you forgot about him looking at you while you were changing. Shinsuke Kita's every word has always been about you, admiring and appreciating his wife.

"I'm sorry for staring, but I just.. can't believe that you think you're not 'beautiful enough' when you make me question every day how I ever managed to deserve you."

His words caused your heart to race at a rate only your husband can.

"I love you.." you whispered

"And I love you more"

"Move, I'm gonna change my clothes. And don't loook"

Still staring at you, he lifted his brow. Daichi is the ideal combination of a playful and sensible husband.

He knows when he can continue to be playful, and he's a real tease. He also knows when he's about to cross the line, and he's aware right now that you don't literally mean what you said. Maybe you do, but he thinks your relationship has already beyond the 'don't look because I'm changing and you can't see my body' stage because you're literally his wonderful wife, plus you were his fiancée for a year and his girlfriend for 7 years.

"Seriously, I need you to turn around because I'm going to change," you stated coldly.

He immediately turned his back on you. He realized you were serious this time, anxiously clasping his hands together, and he's now questioning his actions a while ago.

"You can now look"

"Alright, Uh, Umm - Earlier I.."

he stutters so you cocked your head and gave him a questioning look

"Sorry"

"Mmkay, kiss me love.." you stated enticingly

He smirked and walked right up to you.

You were just changing in the comfort room when Yūji's abrupt knocking interrupted you. telling you how badly he needs to pee.

you opened the door and asked him not to look since you were changing.

you were about to finish until you heard him whistling.

"What the fuck?! I told you not to look!" you smacked his arm.

He washed his hands after fixing his boxers and gently shook your shoulders.

"Dang you're a real damn hot stuff, can't believe i wifed you up"

You smacked his ass, and he groaned in response.

"Hell baby, stop, do you even have a smacking kink-"

He caught your fist when you punched his arm, kissing it afterward.

"Wifey you're into masochism huh?"

That was your final straw, you threw some frantic punches at him, which he easily avoided while cackling.

"Jackass, you need to work on your personality!"

He simply gave you a lovely grin and kissed your shoulders before fixing the strap of your garment and kissing you again.

"Such a simp.." you whispered, easily melted by his actions

You start to notice that something isn't right when you approach the suitcase's corpse, shoving the agent aside by her shoulder. You're expecting to see cracked vials of genetic material, crushed electrical equipment, reams and reams of paper cataloging a genetic sequence, maybe. Instead you see the sleeve of a sweater and a burst tube of leaking toothpaste. There's a few pairs of boxers strewn in the road, little personal odds and ends littered around. 

Oh, this moment makes me feel so bad for her. Sorry for being an asshole, will continue to be a villain and a pain in your ass tho <3

The OverSight agent is apologizing to the sedan's driver, scurrying around to gather up her stuff. she tips the suitcase's lid over with her foot, piling items in hurriedly, sloppily.

FEEDBACK SECTION Reney is such a cutie tho, she's def my fav from the demo rn. I've been wondering if we don't become a super hero can we not romance her? ALSO ALSO, I love how you did the new fight system. It's so much better than the old one, because it was annoying when you wanted to do something but couldn't because you didn't choose the right genome/parts. This system feels more fair imo. I enjoyed so much the comments about our powers/enhancements. It really makes each character we play as feel unique and totally different. I was surprised how much attention to detail you had when it comes to our powers. Of course, if I'm bored and see a fast food I'd want to look at what people ordered using my supervision. There are many little moments like that which add up and make the game a much better experience. It signals to a player that our choices actually matter and do impact the story, which is something that doesn't happen as often as it should in interactive fiction. Even though this is just the demo, I see a lot of potential. More general life stuff, Good luck with your internship this year. Try not to overwork yourself and remember to take rests. I'm super pleased that the new fight system is working out!! Good to hear that the flavor and variation from the different powers still comes through. I'll be lengthening the first Sullivan fight and changing the optional prologue combat to fit the new form.

You've already seen this many times on my page, because I really enjoyed this book and it was a window to many things I didn't know I'd enjoy in a story. So many beautiful description, beautifully emotional and sexy sex, rarely seen complex character dynamics and so much mouth watering food.

Éjféli Iskolák (Midnight Schools) by Attila Veres. lovecraftian horror set in Budapest

It's a horror short story collection by a hungarian author who I got recommended by a collegue. Attila Veres has a talent to capture that melancholic, sometimes surrelistic feeling living in Budapest which makes his work so authentic. But also very Big Ew for all the horroristic shit he created (in the best way.) My favourite one was the 'Porn After Midnight'.

Yumi and The Nightmare Painter by Brandon Sanders. M/F romance focus, sci-fi/fantasy, anime-esque

You all know I'm a Sanderson trash. And the fact I, the slowest reader on the earth, read this book in two days, proved that very much lol. It felt like watching an anime, I swear to god. There's magic, time travel kinda thing, pretty innocent humour, loads of painting in it.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickenes. christmas nostalgia, historical fiction?

We all know this, but I'm very behind on classics book-wise so I began to catch up last year. Espceially because I love the animated movie so much. It was a lovely and educative read.

Y/N by Esther Yi. litfic, kpop fandom and industry satire basically, comteporary

It was one of my favourites from last year tbh, because I couldn't put down the damn e-reader. A very strange little read, 100% unhinged, but made me realise I might enjoy litfic, so I'll read more this year. Also, the story is not "summarizable" but the fact that this is the first two review on GoodReads tells a lot I think: reading this feels like that one night when i accidentally smoked weed for the first time I sort of feel like I just hallucinated this entire thing Yeah.

Even Though I Knew The End by C. L. Polk. F/F romance, fantasy, novella

Lesbian magical detective. Done, sold. I wanted to read this a while now, and it did not disappoint. It gave exactly what it promised. Fast paced little adventure with some humour and a lovely couple. Not a life-chaning read but as I mentioned, it gave what it promised. I enjoyed it anyway.

Interview With The Vampire by Anne Rice. M/M romance kinda, supernatural, philosophical

Finally started to read the books my all time favourite movies are made of. Loved every bits of this, though sometimes it got way too wordy or I don't even know what. Overall though, it got me. Full of contemplation about human nature, God (though I could do a bit less without that) and death, plus the iconic vampire husbands and their arguments. It's just a real long broody monologue of Louis tbh. I'm fine with that it seems, though.

Legend & Lattes by Travis Baldree. F/F romance (not focus), cosy fantasy

Read pretty fast too. It's very much what it promises also. Cosy, and relaxing, and endearing. Love the concept of how a stoic warrior woman can settle finally and do something other than fighting. It was cute.

Tress of The Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson. M/F romance (not that important i think), cosy fantasy, Princess Bride-vibes

Yes, I got all the secret project, because of course I would. This one was also something like Legends & Lattes imo. In Sanderson style tho. I'm also loving when the narrator is a third person telling the story. Those are always fun. Oh and the story had many cuteness, humour and Our Flag Means Death kinda pirates.

yes im definitely in the throes thanks for noticing<3 lol. i'd be delighted to share my opinions on each member of the host club !! this will be LONG bc i have a lot to say about these binches (also this will have manga spoilers). so i'll put it under a cut

Haruhi—honestly what's not to love. she's scruffy and apathetic and grumpy and direct and 300% done with everything, including gender conformity. "these damn rich people" yes king go off. also you're so valid for being 90% motivated by food. it's such a perfect and fascinating idea to drop a person like fujioka haruhi into a group of ridiculous dramatic people like the host club and see how they fare. impressively well, actually. she cleans up nice and is surprisingly charming and intuitive underneath the apathy. but this is only what you find out in like the first episode!!! she grows so much over the course of the story, especially in the manga, and it warmed my heart so much and made me so proud of her 😭 how her relationship with the host club members changed her as a person and even enabled her to better pursue her lifelong dreams. ugh. i love how falling in love with tamaki gave haruhi such a beautiful character arc. first her resistance (which was both understandable and hilarious), because he's so STUPID and RIDICULOUS and in her mind is the last kind of person she'd want to be with, but then she realizes how much she has learned from him and how much he's opened her heart, and she's so inspired by him—to experience new things and understand people better and challenge her preconceived notions and grow to be a better, kinder person, which will make her a better lawyer too. she's actually so brave, to step out of her comfort zone, and connect with others, and to learn how to accept help, when she closed herself off as a coping mechanism when she was so young. she has so much patience to deal with the host club theatrics and a lot of patience with her dad, who is also rather theatrical lol. she had to grow up young and mature so fast and i like how through the host club she learned how to have fun and let other people support and admire her too. ugh i just love her! she has such a soft and good heart and she learns to love so deeply even though it initially went against her nature! she's soooo stray italian greyhound coded to me.

Tamaki—my favorite. one of my favorite characters of all time now actually. im just obsessed with him. i already have a weakness for blond boys with sad backstories and i blorbified him so so fast. as a longtime adrien agreste stan it was inevitable, once i learned about his existence. i saw the most pathetic drama queen loser in all of fiction and i went "yeah he's perfect." i loved him as soon as i watched an episode but i think it was this post that really sold me on him and convinced me to read the manga. i mean isn't he just the guy of all time. as a sillyguy myself i can't not adore him, because he is SO silly and SO dramatic and SO larger-than-life ridiculous, and i am just a big fan of that. but at the same time he has a surprising amount of depth, revealed little by little, that just made me fall even more in love with him as i learned more! cause the thing about tamaki is that everything about him is over-the-top and outlandish—including the size of his heart, and the way he cares about other people, and the lengths he will go to to help them. he's like incredibly narcissistic and incredibly selfless, at the same time. such a fascinating contradiction to me. he has such big feelings whether it's overwhelming grief over a stranger's sob story or unbridled excitement over a mcdonald's happy meal toy. i think all in all tamaki's character can be summed up with one word: love. he just loves everything and everyone to an incomprehensible degree, and that love is transformative. he loves his broken family to the point of wholenesss, and his lonely schoolmates the the point of chosen family, and haruhi to the point of courage—because he was just as confused and afraid as she was, and they both learned to be brave enough to love in a way they always thought was impossible for them. he just loves the whole world and it loves him back, because when you put that much love out there it's bound to be reflected back to you. i love how essentially tamaki annoyed all his friends into becoming his found family lol, because as stupid and obnoxious as he is, he cares SO much, and that's how he won each one over individually, to the point that they'd do practically anything for him. despite being pretty obtuse about himself he's very intuitive about other people and he is able to see them as they really are, in a way they couldn't even see themselves yet, and understand them to a degree that allows them to understand themself. anyway im always crying about him, cause. yeah.

Kyoya—man i love him. so calm and cool and collected and lowkey an evil genius. i love how he plays off tamaki so perfectly. they truly are a married couple lmao. but again!!! in signature ouran fashion, there is much more to him than meets the eye! they're all so much more than the "type" they are assigned! because yes kyoya is the "cool one," the genius one, the guy who always has a plan, the one who's constantly strategizing internally and weighing pros and cons and thinking 9 steps ahead, who only does things for his own benefit … but also underneath he is so passionate. he has all the emotions he tends not to show. fear and anger and grief and love. the anime did such a good job of portraying this because sometimes i think about that scene with him painting inside the golden frame and then it zooms out and he's made a giant beautiful work of art outside the frame, with every color, and i just sort of wanna cry about it. the hidden depths of kyoya ootori...i love that, like haruhi, he learned that it's important to have fun, and if your best friend is a complete idiot, it's good for you! (albeit sometimes detrimental to your health and sanity, lol.) again i loved how they handled it in the anime where in the end he shows his father how intelligent and powerful and in control he was, just to let all of that go, because he found what made him happy, and that was more important than any of it. i love a guy who forms unbreakable bonds first against his will but then puts his whole heart into them! who learns to defy expectations and forge his own path! who learns that happiness is its own end! MAN!! ok also the part in the manga where he spends his whole paris vacation searching for tamaki's mom and completely exhausts himself and falls asleep in the street because of it, just because he wanted to be able to report back to tamaki that she was alive and well. i might cry. im a tamaharu shipper but i have a very soft spot for kyotama.

Kaoru—i get emotional about him sometimes. he is sooooo 😭 ok because at first, the twins are identical both in looks and personality. but as the story progresses, their individuality becomes more obvious, and kaoru reveals himself as the more emotionally mature twin. i love the twins for being mischievous and silly and obnoxious and just a tiny bit evil sometimes, and for always making fun of tamaki (i mean SOMEONE has to), but they both have a lot a depth underneath that which makes them so dear to me 🥺 and kaoru. oh. baby boy. he's so intuitive, often seeing what hikaru is unwilling/unable to see, and so self-sacrificial, always willing to put his brother's needs over his own. the way he was developing feelings for haruhi the whole time, just like hikaru was, but he was the first to realize and admit it to himself, and he gave hikaru space to figure it out too. and then how he is honest with haruhi and confesses to her but in the same breath tells her that his relationship with hikaru is too important to jeopardize, so he bows out gracefully even as he speaks up. UGH! sometimes i just think about that part in the manga where he talks with haruhi about how he wouldn't know what to do if he and hikaru wanted the same thing and both couldn't have it, and then later they have a box of cookies and there's not enough for everyone so he saves his for hikaru, and then haruhi points out that he found the answer to his question, didn't he? about what he would do if they wanted the same thing? so then he ends up stepping back to let hikaru pursue haruhi instead of him, promising to support him, and helping him grow and mature into a better person. wahhhh...... he's a sort of tragic character to me honestly. like it makes me a little sad to think about him. but he just has a good heart, and he ends up happy because the change he was afraid would make him lose the relationships that were most important to him actually made them even stronger.

Hikaru—i think i have a slightly softer spot for kaoru, but i really really love hikaru as well, and i think his character arc is one of the best in the series. he's definitely the brasher/less mature twin in the beginning, who tends to let jealousy and anger get the better of him and he lashes out sometimes because of his frustration and confusion about his own feelings. he struggles with self-awareness and kaoru knows that, which is why he gives hikaru opportunities to self-discover and figure himself out. hikaru falling for haruhi and admitting that to himself and others, even haruhi, was so important for him as someone who always defaulted to keeping others out and viewed everyone but kaoru as an outsider. he really didn't trust anyone but kaoru with his thoughts and feelings, but being part of the club made him open up, examine himself, and consciously choose to mature. one of my favorite hikaru moments is when he dyes his hair dark to show that he's an individual who is separate from his twin and wants to be viewed as such, but at the same time he makes it clear to kaoru that being individuals doesn't mean they have to drift apart or be any less important to each other—and he's determined for them to stay just as close even as they pursue separate paths for the first time in their lives. i also love his rivalry with tamaki over haruhi and how that affects him and forces him to grow. another favorite moment is when he demands that tamaki open his eyes and encourages him to not let his trauma get the best of him. instead of letting tamaki stay ignorant of his feelings for haruhi, which would be to his advantage, he makes tamaki realize them so they could have an equal chance to pursue her. he has so many sweet moments where he feels conflicted about tamaki, wishing he was out of the picture but also feeling so much gratitude and affection for him. he just really loves tamaki, and really loves kaoru, and really loves haruhi, and that love that started out with so much hurt and jealously makes him grow into a more selfless and genuine and mature person, when he finally, like kaoru, bows out and chooses to be happy for tamaki and haruhi. ugh he's a good boy even though he acts like a turd sometimes. lol.

Honey—i don't have as strong of feelings for honey as the others i've gone over but he is still a great character! obviously he's adorable, and i just find him very sweet and enjoyable. and of course the fact that the sweets-obsessed boy lolita who carries around a stuffed bunny is actually a genius and also a martial arts master who can take down 50 guys singlehandedly...yeah it's pretty dope lmao. i love how he learned from tamaki the meaning of true inner strength��not pretending to be something your not for someone else's sake, but being unapologetically YOU and embracing what makes you happy! honey learns to comfortably live a seemingly contradictory life, because he openly loves his cake and cutesie stuff but he remains a strong and well-respected leader and master of the haninozuka martial arts. it's funny and but also very fitting to me that in the manga he ends up with the girl from the black magic club—someone who's different from him in what appears to be every way, but honey is not afraid of contradiction and appreciates people being themselves!

Mori—he's the host i least connect with, just because he doesn't get much focus and also barely speaks lol. but i still love mori! i really admire his loyalty—just the truest friend anyone could ever ask for. he and honey are such an iconic duo. his "lovely item" lol. it's really sweet how much of a natural protector he is—not just how he looks out for honey but also haruhi and the whole host club. he's a very compassionate person with strong principle. one of my favorite mori moments is when he demands a fight with honey just so he feels like he has the right to tell him what to do and remind him to brush his teeth when they're apart for college haha. also shout out to the part where tamaki desperately asks "do you ever think about kissing honey-senpai" because he's freaking out about haruhi and mori says no but later is shown worrying that he screwed tamaki up by lying, because he does actually think about kissing honey 😂

i had played one of their games before, Elevator Hitch, and i really really enjoyed it! so im very excited for this new game that theyve released

when i tell you i am frothing at the mouth reading through your metas. oh my god. obsessed with everything you have to say. we seem to have a few of similar opinions and theories regarding dazai and i love it. he’s my absolute favorite character in the series and second favorite character out of fiction overall and i just LOVE what you have to say about him so much!! your theory on him being the book’s seal? BRILLIANT oh my god so interesting. i’ve never had any real reason for it nor specific idea of why they’re wealthy, but just today i was talking to a friend about how i’ve always kind of had a feeling that he grew up wealthy, and so when i saw the one of him being the son of mafia benefactors it caught my eye so fast. i just have this image in mind?? as him as a young child, right after the war ended — maybe he’s 11 or 12? — sitting silently in the back of a full classroom, maybe at a private school (his parents are neglectful, always having had preferred to send him away rather than raise him), observing all of his classmates with an apathetic expression on his face. he doesn’t fit in with them; he never has. always excluded, and most of the time, it’s of his own accord. he doesn’t feel like them, doesn’t understand why they are just so… different from him. he often is punished by his parents for it, the purposeful seclusion and all the things that come along with it, because despite the fact that they neglect their other duties as parents, they never forget to punish him. omg i’m getting so carried away describing this i’m rambling again LOL sorry!!!! -from, frog!

Sorry this took me so long to reply! I'm really glad you're enjoying my analyses, and that you shared your thoughts with me!

Dazai is a really fascinating character. For all that we follow him in the story closely and get to see what he was like and how he changed at different ages, he's very much still a mystery. It makes it really fun to theorize.

The "he had a wealthy family who were probably associated with the Mafia" comes from three places:

He's stated to not be an orphan in Fifteen, or connected to Mori in any way before their agreement. But he had to be someone, or some random 14 year old wouldn't make any sense as a key witness whose word would be believed by the Mafia.

He clearly knew the Old Boss and vice versa, but he's apparently never seen death up close before, nor was he a part of the Mafia. That doesn't make it seem like he's the Old Boss' son or grandson or anything. Maybe he was a nephew, for Hamlet reasons. (That actually might work, considering irl Dazai wrote his own spin on Hamlet... food for thought!)

Oba Yozo's backstory in No Longer Human, as an alienated young boy who couldn't seem to feel or understand the importance of the things his wealthy family placed importance on, and so disguised his true feelings and fear of being "found out" by clowning to make everybody laugh. (Overly simplified, but I don't want to get too into it in case you haven't read it. The author also came from a wealthy family, so I feel pretty confident about this take on his backstory!)

If you enjoy Dazai backstory theorizing, @daz4i has some good headcanons. You've already read mine, but I've since written the first chapter of a fic called Clear Eye on ao3, which does kind of go into my own interpretation of it. There's also lots of other theories out there that are worth a look!

Butch mspec lesbian culture is having gone through most of the LGBTQ+ acronym before landing back on lesbian, realizing most of the crushes you had on boys as a kid were more compulsory/maybe a little bit gender envy, (aside from your partner who is transfemme, so really that was more of a pre-ordering), AND also having a couple of huge crushes of your, presumably, cis men, professors; which honestly, if I had a nickel for every time I developed a huge crush on a professor (who is a man) I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.

Basically mspec lesbian culture is being mostly lesbian but having an occasional crush on a cis man, I guess the other thing to note about the genuine crushes on men were that they were all on those who were/are unattainable/nothing would ever come from them, i.e. professor, celeb, fictional character.

Whether it's painting/drawing, or yarncraft in the form of plastic canvas, or even just trying new crafts like my very brief attempt at learning to arrange plastic flowers. Favorite foods vary so wildly depending on the time of year and whether or not I've had too much of it recently. I do love salads though. You can always change up what you put in them to make them taste different so I don't get as sick of them as fast as I do other foods! Also fruit. I loooooove fruit.

Sitting at over 400k total words, One Knight Stand is quite a sizeable game, with extensive branching. It also is a demo (prologue + 1st chapter), meant to be part of a longer series. Characterised as a mashup between Among Us and Arthurian lore, the story will twist and turn at every corner. I found one Dead End.

Spoilers ahead. It is recommended to play the game first. The review is based on my understanding/reading of the story.

The game is very much anchored in the ChoiceofGame style of interactive fiction, with its extensive, almost overwhelming, character creation, lengthy playthroughs, and variation galore. Replay value seems to be an important part of this entry, due to the many many choices available (some are even locked depending on previous choices).

While the amount of available content is impressive (400k for a single chapter is massive), the pace of the story is at times painfully slow. In part due to the extensive nature of the character creation. From requiring you to confirm every single character-building choice, to going into details about some trivial options (like the shade of your favourite colour has a dozen of option per hue), it often felt unnecessary and tiresome (be prepared for choice-fatigue here...).

The entry starts pretty intriguing, with a spooky nightmare set in an Arthurian setting, with a bone-chilling feeling that continues to follow you throughout the rest of the chapter (with creepy voices and creepy feelings)*. To balance it out, the prose strive to add humour when it can, from mentions of or punny winks about mainstream media (Knights of Our Lives, lol), to taking an almost sarcastic or parody approach to some situations**. The balance was not quite there, however, making me question whether the story was supposed to be primarily comedy or horror. *I had a bit checked-out by the time the horror started to pick up. ** It's kinda funny a fast-food server can be part of a Polo club...

While I was not particularly fan of the pronoun switch between the main text (you) and the choice list (I), as it sometimes broke the flow of reading, the formatting of the more horror-y beats (especially the ones with creepy sounds or anxious feelings) helped keeping things fresh. Another thing I hope will be used further into the game was the phone element, specifically the texting side-"game". The options of sending back messages were pretty funny (yay for creepypasta).

For a ChoiceofGame style game, it has a pretty solid base and I suspect it could become quite popular with CoG fans. But I don't think it's my kind of game (I was almost relieved when I reached the end, even if it wasn't a "good" one).

Howdy! I've been keeping an eye on this blog for a while, and I figured I'd ask a question. You mentioned that the one of post you made came after a nightmare, right? How long have you had these nightmares? Did they start happening after a notable event (like a big change in routine, or maybe around the time you started having insomnia), or did it just sort of start happening one day? I know insomnia can do a lot of weird stuff to people.

I can't remember when I first started having nightmares. I don't have them every night, it's only once or twice every few weeks. The insomnia has been a thing since I was a kid. I'm a nocturnal person at heart, I sleep better during the day. With my job (fast food, for anyone who was curious.) I tend to work late at night or in the late afternoon. I prefer nighttime anyways because there's a different vibe in the air.

Everyone jumping to suggest a fictional character being in my stratosphere is humorous, but honestly, highly unlikely. Slenderman has been confirmed as a fictional character, by the guy who created him.

Is it possible an entity has taken on the appearance of this character? I'm sure it is. Do I think this entity has any reason to stalk me and give me nightmares? No.

My insomnia and nightmares have nothing to do with the supernatural, it has more to do with my lack of healthy time management and sleeping schedule.

OPLA Review: I love it but it’s different!

Some context: I started watching One Piece when I was 19 years. So the straw hats have been part of my life for over 9 years. Nevertheless, I’m anime only. I have never read the manga. But I know about the story differences between the manga and anime.

I love the live action adaption! The characters feel in line most of the time. The pacing is quite fast, which is actually good for the story. It definitely broke the curse of bad live action adaptions. I can feel the love that is put into this series at each and every moment. Yet, it still feels different to the One Piece in my heart.

I was super excited for the series to be released. After my initial hype, I still tried to keep my expectations low. Yet while watching the first episode, I felt really conflicted. I loved it for what it is. But I wished I could love it even more. Does this even makes sense? Even after finishing the first 4 episodes, I felt every loving post and meme about it. But something was missing. And this feeling didn’t change after finishing the series.

After exploring my thoughts I noticed to main reasons for this:

First and foremost, I love One Piece for its emotions. I have goosebumps, I cry, I feel excited and motivated. With OPLA the emotions where conveyed on the conversational level a lot. A lot more than in the anime. But I was missing the emotions on the emotional level. Characters where saying what they feel. But I couldn’t sense them feeling it.

The second thing which is crucial about One Piece for me is the music! Especially reoccurring background music that also conveys a lot of the emotions. Yes, we had a little bit Bink's sake here and there. And the main theme song We are was incorporated twice if I’m not wrong. But besides that I cannot recall any music except the fishmen's background music. Most of the time I didn’t even notice the background music at all. Epic moments had no epic music.

Nevertheless, I am still very much in love with it. I see so many people engaging in my most favorite fictional world. And they get lost in it! Maybe some even start to read the manga or watch the anime. Some might won’t. But knowing the straw hats - somehow as they are - will be part of other peoples lives as well, makes me unbelievably happy!

And for everyone interested, here are some other random impressions and thoughts:

Almost all story changes where made with love and payed tribute to the original. Like having Chouchou in Orange Town or a girl offering Zoro onigiri. But making the Grand Line map the main story plot device leading to Arlong being kind of the end boss of season 1 felt off to me. It fits somehow into the story. But since Arlong is from the Grand Line, I feel like he wouldn’t be that much in need of the map anyway?!

Koby had sooo much screen time! It was an interesting choice. But I’ve admit, I liked it a lot! Yet I’m not sure if I like how Garp is portrayed. He seems a bit out of character to me personally.

I loooved how they integrated the wanted posters for each character! That was a really unique and cool idea!

We had a panda in the show!!! At this point I knew it’s just a big success haha!

There had been a lot of queer moments! So many more than in the anime at that time of the story. There will be so many fanfics lol

I loved Namis and Luffys first interaction. Even though it was different from the original , it was so cute and gave them some funny moments together. In contrast, Sanjis and Luffys first interaction felt really lame. I love how in the anime the first thing Luffy sees Sanji doing is offering someone starving food for free. This way he knows immediately Sanji is a good one. He asks him to join his crew without having tried his meals. In OPLA Luffy first sees Sanji as waiter resolving some fight. Luffy goes from "he's a good fighter" over "he's a good cook" to "he’s a good guy". And to me Sanji is a good guy first and everything else comes after!

The only time I felt emotions like in the anime, was the scene were Luffy gave his hat to Nami. I think it was almost a 1:1 adaption of the original scene and the dialogue. But somehow this scene felt also off in the live action, because it was so much heavier in emotions than the rest of the series. I’m sorry I’m really picky about the emotional stuff lol

Thanks for reading my rumbling about my favorite fictional universe! I’m really excited what OPLA can do in the future! For anyone starting to watch the anime, I have some last words for you: I’ll wait in Wano Kuni for you!!!

Idk why but I've been making little fictional pieces of media to exist WITHIN my OC universes. Like this anime(?) called Happy Harmony Fusion about college students who are assigned powers based on music genres. And they have to go fight some corporate magical bad guy who wants to turn all of humanity into soulless laborers to manufacture products for his intergalactic business. It's like a magical girl / power ranger thing. And I know this is a super bare bones sketch but I think it's kinda fun looking... Sort of reflects their dynamic well!! ^_^ LOL In order from left to right: Rhythm (R&B) Ranger, Metal Ranger, Pop Ranger, Rock Ranger. MY GIRLIES...

There's three more that are unpictured (Disco, Techno, and Country). And also their obligatory magical girl helper who is a robot isopod that can turn into a Sony CFD cassette player 😭 To disguise himself. And yes he can inexplicably float/fly to get around although he much prefers to perch himself on their shoulders and be annoying. I think his name is I-SOPOD. Sort of like i-pod. I think I-POD is his nickname. HAHA But each "magical girl" has a magic CD that they can use during fights to enhance their powers in a sense. They can also fuse powers with each other to create a fusion genre... Which gives both magical girls enhanced powers related to their fusion genre... Some genres mix better than others. Particularly harmonious fusions create stronger powers and consequently make the duo more powerful :] For example, Pop and Metal fusion would create Glam Metal. And the two's powers/outfits would change to reflect that.

However... Metal Ranger refuses to fuse with any of her other teammates and she says it's because she doesn't need their help and is strong enough on her own but it's actually because she's lying about the genre she was assigned this whole time. She was assigned to have Classical Music powers but she thought that would make her look super nerdy and uncool so she lied. So she refuses to fuse genres/powers with the others bc she knows it would reveal that she is lying. VERY CLEARLY. LOLLL. Whenever she underwent her magical girl transformations, she would rip up her magical girl outfit (which appropriately reflected her Classical music powers) to make it look more... Rugged and almost punk like I guess.

She acts really abrasive and rude and obtrusive only because she's trying to be an over the top metal-liker persona when in reality she's quite a crybaby and sensitive. And knows very little about metal in the first place. ALSO I forgot to mention that their weapons are all predictably based on musical instruments. She originally got. Idk a violin or something but grilled I-SOPOD about it and got an electric guitar magical weapon instead. And as you can imagine, she has a character arc where she finally accepts herself and embraces the Classical music swag. 🫂 It's an on-the-nose "just be yourself" moral but I think it's fitting.

And I also have this fake classic fighting game that features characters based off of food. Probably just called Food Fight, now that I'm thinking about it LOL. But I've only gotten around to designing these three fast food themed ones. Hehe.
