juyeon was really impressed by jisung when she first met him as he was only 16 at the time and was skilled in dancing, rapping, and singing

she really loved the tone of his voice and the versatility he was able to achieve, which she has always been a little envious about

however, baby jisung, who happened to be more scampish prior to debut, did not like juyeon! upon first meeting he found her soft spoken nature fake and was annoyed by her “over the top” aegyo. he felt that she was putting on an act and didn’t appreciate her dishonesty.

for a while after their initial meeting, jisung was pretty short with her and it was quite obvious he didn’t enjoy her presence. she noticed this and instead of backing off like she may have if it was changbin, juyeon used every opportunity she could to butter him up

it took a couple weeks - and a few rejections of her invitation to hang out - but juyeon finally took a step outside her comfort zone and told jisung that 1) she really liked his voice and made a beat for him based off of this, and 2) she feels that they got off on the wrong foot and would like a chance to try again

this interaction and her authenticity really touched jisung, and it was then that he realized how judge mental he was being. while she was soft spoken and radiated a naturally cute vibe, it wasn’t an act for attention from boys or a mask put on to conceal her real personality. she was really the way she presented herself. and she was good at what she did, too.

as we can see now, jisung and juyeon’s friendship significantly improved and are now very close friends.

As the comeback related schedules faded away, the usual routine of various practices found its way back into their life. Unlike some, Johnny hated the routine. Always the same three rooms every day, never-changing white walls, his mind shutting down as his body moved by muscle memory alone.

A whole month went by in a flash. One of the few things Johnny remembered were the rare times he and the other members actually had time to go out, enjoy some free time. Like one Wednesday where he went for a walk along the Han River with Yuta and Jaehyun. How the latter ended up falling into the river, Johnny couldn't remember, but it was quite a story later that night on the phone with Changbin.

The one other thing prominent in between hazy memories of dance practices and language lessons.

Stray Kids got busy with their own comeback. Their once-a-week gym sessions were the only time they could see each other. Though, Johnny did notice that Changbin was trying to talk a lot more, even if that hindered his actual workout routine. But considering that Changbin went to the gym almost every day, Johnny doubted any major impact his presence could have.

With the lack of time, he valued every late night phone call a lot more. Every text message assuring Johnny that Changbin was eating warmed his heart. It somewhat became part of the routine as well, but strangely enough, Johnny enjoyed this daily check-in. Maybe because it wasn't work related, but Johnny knew that was just an excuse to feel less guilty.

At one point, Jaehyun asked Johnny about his problem again. He reaffirmed his opinion from that night, telling Johnny to go for it, but maybe if he knew who this was about, he would have reacted differently. So many what if's, so much to consider. Johnny caught himself a few times from asking other members for their opinion. Some of them had more thought than Jaehyun though, and would definitely figure it out.

Such an urge creeped up on him again during another dance practice. He had just been texting with Changbin, the exchange burning into his skull, leaving him unable to think of anything else. The music rattled him to the bone, the floor shaking under his feet, but it couldn't drown out his wandering mind.

[Strong Bunny] 'Did you listen to our new album yet?'

[Gym Buddy] 'Of course, bunny! I love it!' 'Before you ask, my favorite is 3Racha. Your deep voice is hot~'

[Strong Bunny] 'Thank you, hyung'

Johnny had sent that message an hour ago, but there was still no answer. He stared at his phone with a million emotions rushing through his body.

Sighing deeply, he dropped his hand beside him. The floor pressed cold against his bare arms. Laying on the ground wasn't exactly comfortable, and his aching muscles were probably going to hate him for it later, but he couldn't bring himself to crawl over to the couch. There wasn't much room between Jungwoo and Donghyuck anyway.

Johnny took a deep breath. His lungs burned, throat struggling against it. He also needed to consume some water. Taeil had thankfully lost his interest in Fanta, now bothering no one but the upper dorm floor with his new feng shui obsession.

"Hyung." Mark's face appeared at the edge of Johnny's vision, peering down at him.

"Oh! My favorite boy!"

"Have you looked at Twitter today?"

The serious tone of Mark's voice had Johnny sit up immediately. He glanced down to where Mark was holding his phone, then back up at the concern-ridden face.

"No? Why?" Johnny asked carefully.

Mark looked around, stopping for a moment at the sight of Taeyong fussing over an exhausted Doyoung. With a sigh, Mark dropped down on the floor next to Johnny, turning on his phone again. He frowned at the screen, hesitating, before holding it out for Johnny to read.

"Pretty sure Taeyong hyung doesn't know yet," Mark said, as if that in any way eased the way Johnny's heart dropped into his stomach.

'Once again, the rumors about NCT Johnny and Stray Kids Seo Changbin cook hot. One fan on twitter, going by the handle @seungmoooo, uploaded multiple pictures of the two together. They appear to be quite close, figuratively and literally.'

Johnny snatched the phone from Mark, eye's growing wide. He opened the Twitter post with the actual pictures and a familiar scene appeared, just from the other side of the street from behind a car. They very clearly showed Johnny's face when he had forgotten his mask the day before. It was easy to guess Changbin, his stature too obvious. One shot depicted their hug, another the moment right after when Johnny had leaned down to whisper something in Changbin's ear. He vaguely remembered what he actually said.

"What the fuck?" Johnny yelled, scrambling to his feet.

Mark followed a little clumsily. His frown had melted into worry, but Johnny couldn't spare his feelings at that moment.

"Fans! They call themselves a fucking fan! What fan just uploads pictures like that?"

Tension crawled under Johnny's skin as he walked up and down, slowly dragging himself through the comment section. Too many 'fans' spewed trash, as if they had any idea what the fuck they were seeing.

The only thing keeping Johnny from throwing the phone against the nearest wall was the fact that the majority of comments consisted of people with common sense.

Johnny inhaled deeply, closing his eyes in the process. His free hand tightened into a fist at his side. Everyone's stares burned into his skin, and Mark's presence lingered at his side with overwhelming awkwardness. With the exhale, Johnny looked around the room. Taeyong approached with careful steps, as if approaching a feral cat.

"Do I want to know?" he asked, gesturing at the phone.

Johnny handed it over to him. "No, but you should."

Some of the other members peeked over Taeyong's shoulder. Various stages of concern twisted their faces. Johnny continued to pace, making his way over to his bag at some point. He pulled out his own phone. Some Dream members had spammed the group chat about the article, which was presumably how Mark found out.

But Johnny was more interested in the one message from Changbin.

[Strong Bunny] 'We should stop meeting'

Such simple words, but they had Johnny's stomach twisting in the most unpleasant way. He swallowed against whatever curse crawled up his throat. His thumbs hovered over the keyboard, but he couldn't find the right words in any of the languages he spoke. Any protest seemed wrong.

"Johnny," Taeyong said, drawing his attention back to the group, "why didn't you tell me you've been meeting Changbin?"

"It didn't seem important."

A very wrong conclusion in retrospect. In Johnny's defense, he really didn't want anyone telling him it was a bad idea. He was very well aware. He also didn’t think that meeting Changbin would become a regular thing. But any sort of protest seemed futile against the disappointment washing over Taeyong's face.

"Johnny-"

"Yes?"

"-I trust you, you know that, but tell me you didn't lie about not dating Changbin."

"I didn't. I met him shortly after the whole rumor started, we exchanged numbers to, you know, plan what pictures we post. Just to be safe. But we hit it off, and now we're friends."

"Just friends."

"Just friends," Johnny reaffirmed.

Taeyong sighed deeply. He gave Mark his phone back, taking in everyone else's expression. While the concern had somewhat mellowed out, Mark and Taeil especially didn't look convinced of anything. Johnny couldn't blame them. He really should have told them.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Taeyong asked.

"Honestly? No. I should have expected that someone would eventually see us at the gym together, but we don't really have any other option to meet up."

"But it's suspicious if you two get spotted alone together," Jungwoo said, as if he wasn't stating the obvious.

Maybe Changbin was right. Maybe this whole thing was a mistake. As much as Johnny didn't want to worry, the attention on the rumor still hadn't died down, and one more wrong move could ruin everything. And Johnny was sure he was going to make a wrong move. Changbin haunted his mind like Pandora's box, the temptation to open it too great.

Johnny looked down at his phone, at Changbin's message.

"I'm sorry I didn't say anything," he said, glancing back up.

"It's okay. Just don't do it again," Taeyong replied.

"That doesn't solve the issue though," Donghyuck chimed in.

"What issue?"

"That Johnny hyung can't meet Changbin safely," Donghyuk said. "Maybe if they didn't meet alone, it would be fine."

"You mean, they need a sort of decoy?" Doyoung asked.

"Yes! Someone who will go to the gym with them."

In perfect unison, everyone turned to Mark. He blinked, a cat caught in the snack cabinet, and slowly glanced behind himself. Looking back, he pointed at himself.

"Yo, what? You want me to join them?"

"Obviously," Jungwoo said.

"Changbin can invite Bang Chan. You two know each other, right?" Doyoung asked.

"Donghyuck knows him too," Mark defended, "he's more a friend to other Dreamies, anyway. Also, didn't Jaehyun hang out with him recently?"

Jaehyun scoffed. "I did, but it was Jungkook who invited him. We're not that close yet."

"Jae also a terrible workout partner," Johnny threw in. "No offense, dude."

"Same to you."

"But still…" Trailing off, Mark put his chin in his hands, eyes drifting over the floor.

"You don't have to," Johnny said.

"I know." Mark met his gaze again, a sparkle in the big doe eyes. "But I won't pass up an opportunity to see Bang Chan-hyung again."

Some laughter filled the room, the atmosphere now much lighter. New hope that everything could work out filled Johnny's chest. He only needed to convince Changbin. Perhaps involving the other members more was going to help. Fans couldn't possibly think Johnny and Changbin were dating when they didn't go out alone. Who would bring their friends on a date?

"Well," Taeyong clapped his hands together, "now that's that settled, we should continue our practice."

A collective groan hushed through the crowd, but they all followed the leader anyway. As worried as everyone had been before, the whole topic seemed to be forgotten the moment they got into formation and the first notes of music filled the space. Except Johnny caught Jaehyun's eyes in the mirror at some point, shivering at the intensity behind them. Like Jaehyun was trying to figure out the meaning of life.

Johnny ignored him. He had other things to worry about. But of course Jaehyun decided to be a pain in the ass, sticking his nose where it didn't belong.

After practice, Johnny immediately texted Changbin. He got straight to the point, explaining the plan, but the answer took a while. Johnny stared at his phone the whole car drive to the dorms, switching between biting his thumbnail and chewing his bottom lip.

From the corner of his eye, he occasionally caught a glimpse of Jaehyun next to him. He watched Johnny with hawk eyes. The pieces seemed to be falling into place for him, much to Johnny’s dismay. Though, he supposed Jaehyun wasn't the worst person who could find out. He wasn't exactly one to gossip.

Johnny's phone vibrated as they stepped into the elevator.

[Strong Bunny] 'You think this will work?'

[Gym Buddy] 'Donghyuckie can be annoying, but his advice works out most of the time, as painful as it is to admit that'

[Strong Bunny] 'I trust you' 'I also want to keep meeting you'

Johnny released a shaky breath. Taeyong raised his eyebrows, but smirked after Donghyuck whispered something into his ear. Meanwhile, Doyoung wasn’t listening to anything, but Jaehyun's attention cut as sharp as ever.

"Why are you with us, Jae?" Johnny asked, squinting.

"I forgot something in hyung's room."

"Is Taeyong still teaching you how to play that game?” Johnny knew the game full well. He played it himself, but seeing Taeyong’s eyes widen was too amusing. “What was it? Overpatch?"

"Overwatch," Taeyong mumbled, pursing his lips.

"Sure, that."

That somehow turned into a whole lecture about the value of Shooters, which lasted all the way into the dorm. Doyoung and Haechan scurried off to the hallway leading to the bedrooms while Jaehyun and Johnny pretended to listen to Taeyong. Though the moment Johnny's phone pinged with a message, he excused himself.

Donghyuck was nowhere to be found when Johnny slipped into their shared room. He probably joined Doyoung for some epic quest of avoiding any responsibility. Not that Johnny cared. His focus was only on his phone screen, where he had opened the chat with Changbin. Lost in the talk about Overwatch, Johnny had completely forgotten to answer.

[Strong Bunny] 'Channie-hyung said yes'

A grin tugged at the corners of Johnny's mouth. Success, he supposed. It was worth a try at least.

[Gym Buddy] 'Cool!'

'I'm glad you're in with this whole thing'

'I would have been sad if we couldn't meet again'

A pause. Three dots appeared at the bottom. Gone again. Johnny held his breath. They came back just to vanish once more. Nothing. Johnny dropped onto his pillows, and tugged his stuffed whale under his chin. If he had stared any harder at the screen, he might have gone blind.

A knock pulled him out of his trance.

"Come in!" he yelled, shutting off his phone.

Somewhere in the back of his mind, Johnny had expected it. The inevitable confrontation. He still startled a little as Jaehyun peeked around the corner.

"Do you have time to talk, hyung?" Jaehyun asked.

Johnny shuffled into a sitting position, whale plushie still squished against his chest.

"Do I want to have time?"

"No, but you should have it anyway."

There was no winning this one, because Jaehyun was right. Johnny was losing control over the situation. Maybe. It sounded dramatic though, and being dramatic felt right. Jaehyun quietly closed the door behind him, hesitating before stepping further into the room. He glanced over at Donghyuck's bed. Still empty, still a mess from the morning. Apparently not enough of a mess, because Jaehyun sat down on it, absently wiping away some stray crumbs of whatever snack Donghyuck had decided to eat last night.

"So…" Jaehyun leaned back on his hands, gaze firmly set on the older man, "is Changbin the one you asked me about? The one you think would be a ‘mistake to pursue’?"

Straight to the point, as expected. Just how Johnny liked it. No need to talk around the topic, draw it out, as if that would make anything easier.

"That was a month ago, why do you still remember that?"

"Why are you surprised that I remember?"

Johnny scoffed. "I wish you didn’t."

"Too bad. I've been thinking about it a lot. You're usually so confident in everything, but now you have doubts about trying to fuck someone?"

"It's not about sex."

"Right, you're obviously hopelessly in love."

"You make everything sound awful," Johnny said, shaking his head.

"So is it Changbin?"

It would have been easy to deny it. Johnny was a great liar, all poker face and commitment, but as he clung to his plushie while staring at Jaehyun's open face, his mind failed him. Right then and there, the truth seemed like an open book. His heart laid bare on a silver plate.

Johnny sighed.

"Yes."

"Makes sense." Jaehyun hummed thoughtfully, "I wondered what could possibly hold you back. Dating as an idol isn't some impossible task, and you did it before-"

"Is there a point to your rambling?"

"I'm just saying that I was confused, but I get it now. But I thought you didn't know Changbin before?"

"I told you, I met him after the rumors started. We talked a lot, even met for sushi — don't tell Taeyong — and that night when we both texted, I agreed to meet Changbin at the gym for the first time the following morning I already knew a few days into texting that I'm down bad. It's ridiculous how easily I fell for him, I know, but…" Johnny trailed off, no word good enough to describe the way Changbin captured his attention.

He looked over at Jaehyun again. A crooked smile decorated his face, that kind of shit eating grin that had anyone concerned about what plans were developing in that big head of his.

"What?" Johnny asked.

"Nothing."

"You look evil."

"It's just nice to see you like this. You really are down bad."

"Thank you, doc."

Jaehyun laughed, still looking like he won some grand prize.

"I mean it, though. Seeing you in love is nice. I'm really happy for you, hyung."

A warm metaphorical hug squeezed Johnny's heart. The sincerity stung at the corners of his eyes, but he controlled himself enough to keep it at that. He did give Jaehyun a smile, everything he possibly could have said behind the simple gesture. Jaehyun seemed to understand, smiling brighter.

"I'll stand by what I said before," Jaehyun continued, "you should go for it if you think he likes you back."

"I have no idea, I won't lie."

"Are you flirting with him?"

"Shamelessly."

Jaehyun chuckled softly. "Does he respond?"

"Yes? But it's hard to tell how genuine he is. Or if he even likes it."

"Maybe you should ask him."

"Of course," Johnny scoffed, "at that point I could just tell him my feelings directly. Dude, you don't ask a friend if flirting is okay. You just do it and stop when they seem uncomfortable. Asking about it just makes it weird."

"Yuta asked Mark if he minds the flirting," Jaehyun said.

"Yeah, but Yuta is a pervert. He gets a kick out of making things weird."

"True."

Beside Johnny, his phone vibrated again. He peeked at Jaehyun, but Jaehyun was staring at the ceiling, lost in thought. Johnny appreciated his help, really. He would have appreciated any member's help, but Jaehyun was the least annoying about it. Simple advice.

Johnny loosened his grip on the whale, opening the chat with Changbin again.

[Strong Bunny] 'I like talking to you' 'But I'm worried'

[Gym Buddy] 'I know' 'I'm worried too, but I'm ready to take the risk'

[Strong Bunny] 'I'll see you at gym next week'

That was a win, kind of. Changbin agreed to try at least, what else could Johnny ask for? But the hesitation was clear. The fear. Not that Johnny could blame him. He prayed Donghyuck's plan would work. If no other article appeared in the next month or so, they would be in the clear. Probably. Obviously, it wasn't that easy, but Johnny was a frog in a slowly heating pot.

Jaehyun huffed. "Are you texting Changbin again?"

"Yes."

"If you're so unsure about it, take some time to really observe his reactions to you. See the signs, or whatever people say."

"You should become a dating coach," Johnny sneered.

"Think about it, hyung. I've never seen you so hopeless, so you must really like him. Don't throw that away."

With that, Jaehyun pushed himself to his feet, and left. Not even a goodbye. Any other time, Johnny would have called him back to kick his ass, but he could only stare at the door. His mind struggled around Jaehyun's words, trying to break them apart and find an excuse to dismiss them.

Johnny glanced back down at his phone. Changbin had sent a selfie. Through half lidded eyes, he smiled at the camera, face barely illuminated. His curly hair was splayed out over the pillow, the only clear sign he was in bed. Changbin looked… soft. So fucking soft. Beautiful. Johnny carved every detail into his skull.

[Gym Buddy] 'Look at you~' 'What a sight for sore eyes'

Johnny added a selfie of his own, making sure to keep his whale out of the picture. He mimicked Changbin's peace sign, topping it off with a wink. Just as he sent it, the bedroom door opened again, and Donghyuck creeped inside. He stilled at the sight of Johnny, eyes wide.

"Sorry, hyung. I thought you were already asleep."

"Did Jaehyun ask you to stay out of the room?"

Donghyuck hesitated, like a deer caught in the headlights.

"Maybe?"

Johnny snorted in amusement. Of course Jaehyun did. Probably texted Donghyuck in the car or something. And Johnny thought they were a team, but no, they’d shamelessly conspired against him.

He shook his head and dropped into his pillows, rolling onto his side. A small offended huff from Donghyuck filled the room, and Johnny hid his smirk behind his plushie. At least Donghyuck didn't ask why. Maybe he was planning to exploit the debt Jaehyun owed him now. Power over the older members always seemed to outweigh his need to know everything.

One last message appeared in the chat.

random thoughts about tell me that you love me, episode six

(the rest is under the cut because i'm worried about your eyes having to read ALL OF THAT and this post might contain spoilers)

"In order to live among those who use spoken language, I had no choice but to be in need of help" So far the drama has done a tremendous job at tackling what it is like to live with a disability. The fact that jin woo has lived majority of his life being dependent on other people has taken a toll on him. He knows he's different but the fact that he is constantly reminded of his difference day in and day out, this is a lot on one person's shoulders.

I always appreciate when shows give us a backstory on how two characters met so thank you for telling us how jin woo and seo kyung met.

You can see how the way people treat jin woo ignites a different reaction in him. Despite people being kind and helpful to him, jin woo didn't like the way he was always singled out or how people were wary of him. Meanwhile you have seo kyung who has always treated him normally, as if he wasn't disabled. That's what made her stand out from the rest because she was treating him the same way she treated her friends/other classmates.

Ji yu really is the funniest character of this show. I can't with her

If my friends/family sang happy birthday to me like ji yu, jo han and mo dam did to mo eun, i would simply move to another continent, legally change my name to penelope and procede to have an entire facial plastic surgery because I wouldn't stand the embarrassment 😭

What jo han did to her was mean. I know this is common sense but acting like you're sick/in danger so your friend/family can come to you faster for such mundane things is a big no!!! Don't do that. Or else, people won't be able to trust you ever again </3

It's the little details between these two that make me want to scream into my pillow. Just like how mo eun is using her phone's light to signal she's right outside his door. It's beautiful to see her remember things about him and adapting to his disability.

Linking back to my previous posts and what I said earlier, jin woo is scared of finding love because as he saw with his friend, a "normal" person (jin woo's words) would have to go through a lot to live with him. It's sad that he's refusing to find love for that reason but I understand him. The world is not built for disabled people. They don't want to bring someone with them in their daily lives 💔 It's sad to see but it's the truth.

The look on jin woo's face 😭 His fear of being loved by someone came to life. You can see how he's torn between reciprocating her feelings and all his anxiety crashing down on him. It's a lot for him and you can clearly see how shaken he is by the confession.

I'm glad they're not rushing the seo kyung x jin woo story. Please keep on giving us hints after hints and letting them resolve what they have going on at their own pace. One thing I wouldn't understand is if the drama rushed the story into two or three episodes and left it at that. This drama has a slow pace so I don't think it'd be right to have a subplot that doesn't match the pace of the drama.

The whistling has creeped me out. I'm scared for seo kyung. I hope we know who that person is.

Oh and before i forget, I'm curious as to why jin woo is painting at night under the dino identity.

All in all, this is once again a great episode so I'm giving it a 8.9/10

This has been a journey and I loved writing this story. Thank you to everyone who showed interest in this little story of mine. This was my first written series and it's been the best time writing it. I'm sad it's ended, I probably won't be writing more True Beauty fanfic but I did love writing this very much.

Han Seo Jun couldn’t believe he was doing this. He had willingly called a class meeting. He was willingly calling these people he begrudgingly liked to discuss something. The things he did for you.

Then again, there were very few things he wouldn’t do for you. You had told him about the text and meeting Hae Sung. There was no way that Seo Jun was going to let you do this alone. You had the support of everyone in your class not just your best friends.

“So, everyone understands the plan, yes?” Seo Jun said looking at everyone in the class. They all nodded, understanding how important this was for YN and Seo Jun. It was well known how much the class hated Hae Sung and well anything they could do to help get him out of your life permanently they would do.

You were nervous going into school. Seo Jun had come all the way to your house, and you had gone to school together. Mi Soo Unnie gushing about how cute the two of you were the least of your worries at the moment.

Today was the day that you were going to confront Hae Sung. It terrified you to even think about it. But you knew it needed to happen. You couldn’t continue your life with Hae Sung in the shadows. Waiting to be let back in, knowing that he was behind so many rejections. Pulling the strings of your academic life without your knowledge. You wanted answers and you were determined to get them.

Walking into Saebom, your class and Hae Sung’s class did what they had been doing for months now. Helping you to avoid Hae Sung. You appreciated it, you knew you would not be able to handle seeing Hae Sung’s face before you needed to. As you walked into your classroom, you were surrounded by the girls giving you hugs and the boys shouting fighting. Confused you looked at Seo Jun who smirked and winked at you. Causing you to blush, making the whole class coo at how adorable you were.

The day was a slow one. For once you wouldn’t wait for the end of the day. It was the day to get answers from Hae Sung and the way the class was acting they were probably going to be around to help. Which you appreciated, then again you didn’t know how much of your personal laundry you wanted your classmates to know. In retrospect, there was too much your classmates already knew anyway, so did they know everything really matter?

That was an internal debate you could have later. You knew if you asked Seo Jun would scare your classmates into staying quiet and not saying anything about the confrontation. That made you feel bad though. Did that count as using your boyfriend? You didn’t know and for now, didn’t want to worry about it.

The end of the day came, and you were led to an empty classroom by Seo Jun, there you could see Si Woo and Hyun Ji with Jae Yi as well which was a surprise. You looked at him in shock, your mouth must’ve been open that you felt someone gently closing your mouth. You turned to look at Seo Jun and he just nodded his head.

“I would’ve told you, but Seo Jun wanted this to be a surprise Ynnie” Jae Yi told you. You looked at Seo Jun but again he wouldn’t give you an answer. You weren’t above begging Seo Jun to get answers from him but before you could, Cho Rong was heard shouting.

“Guys hurry up with the explanations Hae Sung is on his way” Looking around everyone nodded their head.

“I’m here as a witness and with the proof of what he did, plus Hyun Ji and Si Woo went through all the applications you filled in that were rejected as more proof. Our plan is to hit him with as much evidence as we can.” Jae Yi explained. You nodded your head before looking at Seo Jun and smiling at him.

He looked more nervous than you and that was saying something. To reassure him, you hugged Seo Jun tightly, just knowing he was here for you was reassuring. Seo Jun whispered in your ear, telling you that he was here and all you had to do was look out the door and wink at him. That was the sign for him to come in. Any moment you felt uncomfortable, just wink and he’ll be there.

“Well, isn’t this sweet, I didn’t come here to see you two hugging Han Seo Jun,” Hae Sung said as soon as he walked into the room. He had a smug smirk on his face like he knew this would all work out in his favour. Was he going to get the shock of his life then?

Seo Jun let go of you and gave you a peck on the lips. Then left the room, hitting Hae Sung with his shoulder on the way out of the room. That made you want to laugh but you knew that would just rile Hae Sung up and that was the last thing you wanted to do. So, you did a poor job of hiding your giggling behind a cough.

“So, you’ve kept a lot of things from me Hae Sung and I would like answers” You started strong, you were not going to let your fear of Hae Sung’s angry words get to you. That was not happening. You had a support system and sadly for Hae Sung, none of them was going to let him leave without telling you the truth of why he did what he did.

“I’ve kept nothing from you YN, my best friend. If anything, you’ve been distant. Hell, you told me that you couldn’t stand to be near me a few months ago” Hae Sung replied, looking you up and down. There was something different in the way you held yourself and he hated it. He heard Si Woo and Hyun Ji scoff at his words. He glared at them, but the two brats just smiled at him. Making him angrier. Why were the two of them even here, not to mention Jae Yi was here? Wasn’t he supposed to still be abroad? When did he come back and contact you?

“Kept nothing from me, sure I would’ve believed that last year but not anymore,” you said and then gestured for Jae Yi to start playing the video. You all turned towards the screen at the front of the classroom. Si Woo even offered you some popcorn which made you laugh but you took some anyway.

As the video played, you could see Hae Sung grow pale. His expression from a smug smirk to confusion to shock and then to disbelief at what he was watching. By the time the video ended, he was refusing to look you in the eyes. Looking anywhere in the room but at you. That was new, Hae Sung had never been afraid of confrontation but looks like being faced with the knowledge that you knew what he had done, scared him.

“Oh, that’s not all that I know Hae Sung. Jae Yi’s family were nice enough to have a Private Investigator delve into my whole academic history, to see if you and Kang So Hee had done this before and well you have. Practically my whole academic life has been controlled by the two of you” As you were saying this, Si Woo and Hyun Ji were putting papers up of all the applications that you’d filled out that had been rejected because of his mother Kang So Hee.

“I just want to know why Hae Sung, what was the point of doing all this? what did you achieve from any of this? Were my emotional breakdowns after being rejected multiple times funny to you? Did it amuse you that I was distraught over something that you had done” You cried to Hae Sung, you just wanted answers and if you were close to tears then so be it. Hae Sung is just silent. You want to shake him, anything to get answers from him.

“I had to do it YN. Do you realise how smart you are? All the applications, all these schools wanted you. It was a struggle to convince them to reject you. I hated to see the emotional breakdowns, but it was a price I had to pay. I need you close to me, all those schools, and opportunities would take you away from me and I couldn’t have that. I tried to keep you isolated from all our classmates.”

“That worked until you met Si Woo and Hyun Ji. I got used to those brats, but I couldn’t let you leave me. Jae Yi was an issue too and I had to get rid of him. It didn’t help that the summer you started dating, you had already rejected me and were pulling away. I had to do everything to keep you with me. I can’t handle anything without you and the only way I saw to keep you with me was to stop any and all opportunities you had that would mean you leave me” Hae Sung said and it took a lot out of him to admit all this to you. So much so that he just sat down in a chair.

All four of you are gobsmacked you couldn’t believe what you had heard. All of this just so you wouldn’t leave him. It didn’t make sense, nothing you had just heard made sense. You didn’t know how to react. All the things you had gone through with Hae Sung by your side, was any of it rule or just a way to make sure that you didn’t leave Hae Sung?

“All of this to make sure YN doesn’t leave you and it’s your behaviour that makes her leave you anyway. If I were you, Hae Sung, I’d go cry to your mother Kang So Hee and change schools, cause the minute this gets out, you’ll be hated more than you already are” Si Woo said calmly looking at Hae Sung with fire in his eyes.

“Too late, everyone already knows, part of the class plan was for me to call Seo Jun when Hae Sung starts confessing. No one will miss you Lee Hae Sung” Hyun Ji mentioned, pulling up her phone and nodding her head to Seo Jun who was at the door.

“Man, I knew you were messed up before and oddly territorial of YN while we were dating but this explains so much and it just makes you look so much worse” Jae Yi was disgusted, to think when he was dating YN, he did everything he could to get Hae Sung to approve of him. This guy needed help, but it was doubtful that he would get the help he needs considering his mother was already doing his bidding and covering for him.

“I never want to see you again Lee Hae Sung. Our friendship is done and dusted. Your control of my academic career is done. You’re lucky that I am not handing this stuff over to the police. Literally because of the good times but I am serious that if I see you again, I will hand this over to the police” you say peacefully. It had been long enough that you had stopped talking to Hae Sung. In the last few months, you had gotten used to not having Hae Sung in your life. You looked towards the door and winked at Seo Jun with a big smile on your face.

Seo Jun was confused but still came into the classroom, he was followed by the rest of your class and you couldn’t help but laugh at the way they all fell into the classroom. Seo Jun went to go fight with Hae Sung but seeing him in the chair looking very docile was weird. Seo Jun looked to you.

You smiled and motioned for Seo Jun to come over to you and to Seo Jun’s shock, you grabbed his collar, pulled him down to you and kissed him in front of everyone. You pulled away and laughed at the dazed look on Seo Jun’s face. Your friends were taking pictures claiming this was blackmail material.

“Last year, I wouldn’t have dared to confront you, Lee Hae Sung. If it hadn’t been for tutoring Seo Jun, I wouldn’t have grown closer to my classmates, realised just how toxic you are and literally, you’re the worst person, I don’t know how we didn’t fight before to the point of our friendship ending but my point is that I am better without you. I’m happy with my boyfriend, friends and family. I used to think that we were two idiots in a pod, platonic soulmates. I was wrong, were not soulmates, nothing you’ve ever done has been to help me. It was all to keep me with you and that hurts.”

“However, you did all of that to keep me around when just one honest conversation could’ve solved everything. Instead, you decided to go behind my back and pull the strings. I am happier without you and really, I feel sorry for you Lee Hae Sung. This is my goodbye. Were strangers from now on” After you’ve said this. You take Seo Jun’s hand and walk out of the classroom. You can hear your classmates clapping and whopping at your exit and that makes you laugh.

“So does this mean, I’m out of tutoring today,” Seo Jun asks putting his arm around your shoulders. You shake your head, even after all this time, this boy will do anything to get out of tutoring.

You’d think you would feel bad or upset. You’d just ended a friendship you had since your childhood. That’s not how you felt though. You felt free, you had been seen as Hae Sung’s best friend for so long. Now you were able to be yourself, you didn’t need to worry about how Hae Sung would react to something if there would be an argument if you had to deal with Hae Sung’s disappointment. You never thought that tutoring Han Seo Jun would lead to your freedom from the cage that had been your friendship with Hae Sung.

2. Seo Ye Ji: my first drama of her was Save me and that was it; I was a loser for her. She literally bodies every character she potrays. Psycho queen 👑

3. Shin Hye Sun: My baby from Still 17. I loved the way her portraying the character so well. Definitely needed the appreciation she has now. The queen of facial expressions 😌

4. Jung Ho Yeon: the cold girl from the Squid Game movie. I guess she sparked way too fast from other actors and actresses and I was blown away with it. I wish she walked up the stairs one by one but not with one ladder 😔

5. Park Shin Hye: the first drama I saw of her was “You’re beautiful” from 2009 and it continued. I love how she worked her ass off and climbed up throughly all the fame steps. Now she is one of the too actresses in Korea and I’m so proud of her :’)

6. Bae Suzy: I only saw 3 series of her and I dont know if she has any more shows but I loved all 3 shows. ‘Vagabond’, ‘While you were sleeping’ and 'Uncontrollably fond’ are one of my fave dramas ever. Keep going beauty 💕

He wouldn’t mind a bit, I even think he would like it, cause you know he would have someone to lean on and relax a bit, telling you stuff he can’t really tell to his members. Really mature in the relationship you guys have, treat you like the goddess you are and deserve the world and he give it to you. It doesn’t matter to him that yes you are older than him, so what ? Love is love !  Still call you babe or babygirl no matter what. 

Still have silly moments with you, like dancing weirdly in the living room and stuff, you are now SKZ’s mom, all the guys look up at you for tips and stuffs. 

Feels like your relationship is really easy for him, you support each others, and it’s so natural between the two of you. 

LEE MINHO Minho just don’t give a damn that you’re older than him, he doesn’t even talk about it, you’re his girlfriend and he is your boyfriend nothing more nothing less. But also plays a lot with you, tease you or stuff but not too much, cause he doesn’t see the big deal of you being older. Makes you use the ugly snow filters but is really mature in the relationship, which really surprised you at first but now it’s normal. 

Love your mature side, but also when you turn silly with him. 

He just want to be comfortable in a relationship and if it means a older partner he doesn’t see why not, it’s his life and no one will have a word to say. 

SEO CHANGBIN Seo Changbin is another genre of relationship, he legit doesn’t give a f about your age, but use a lot of aegyo on you to get want he wants, a kiss, a hug, or anything, aegyo is his way to get to your heart. 

He is the cutest with you, cling to you like your shadow whenever it’s just the two of you, hug you like all the time, kiss you neck and stuff. 

Changbin is just a lovely bean, age doesn’t matter to him, if he loves you he gonna do it 100%, he just love the comfort you bring to his life, isn’t scared to show you the real him, trust you a lot, and relay on you a lot. 

Loves to have silly moments with you, but also thinks he is here to protect you no matter what you still his girlfriend and it’s his role to do that, at least to him. 

HWANG HYUNJIN At first I think, he was kind of scared of being immature net to you, he still young and yeah so he was over the top when you said yes to being his girlfriend, at first he was trying to be like the older guy in the relationship, but soon see you felt weird cause he wasn’t himself, and stopped. 

Get more mature, talk to you about deep stuffs, telling you are his getaway from all of his crazy schedules and loves being with you doing nothing. 

Reminding you how breathtaking you are everyday, and just show you he loves you a lot, loves to share his passions with you, and finally all his worries are out of the frame cause your relationship is natural and he really appreciate it.  HAN JISUNG Wasn’t worried about you being older than him, his feelings are important to him and I think he is at ease with you, all his anxiety isn’t on his mind if you near, and he feels good with you no need to pretend to be someone else or a few years older. 

He just feel good, and he find his place in the relationship, cause he wasn’t the one who asked you to date, you were the one, and he was more than happy about it. He look up a lot to the older members, so he is happy you get along together and he is just happy to be with you, isn’t scared to show you his silly side, and loves to bakes with you at crazy hours in the night. 

Isn’t afraid to show the world he loves you and your age doesn’t matter to him and it shouldn’t brother people who aren’t in the relationship you guys share. KIM SEUNGMIN Seungmin as the other doesn’t really says anything about you being a few years older than him, your relationship to him is the most important, you being older or not, he never understood why people make it so weird when the girl is older. To him you are just y/n his girlfriend. 

He is mature, and don’t feel that you are older, is just you and him really. 

He is used to hang out with older people, his members and stuffs, so he doesn’t see why he should matter so much, he just feel good with you and love spending time with you, it’s just normal and feels so natural for him.

For Jeongin, i also think at first he didn’t really know what to think cause he is the youngest and in the group is the maknae and kind of the center of the attention of his older members. But in the end if he really like you and after a talk with his closest friends, age shouldn’t matter. 

Overall for him it’s a normal relationship and he doesn’t really get why people are out there saying if the boy is older is ok but if the girl is older it’s weird. 

He is just happy to finally have someone he can share with, he is mature and just really happy to have find such a adorable person like you. Always saying age is just a thing and feeling are stronger than that, it’s his life and relationship and people don’t have their words to say.
