you've posted (or maybe it wash just in tags) about the knight eddie story youve worked on before and i have not been able to get the idea out of my head

oh, nonnie. oh. (i definitely have. in tags and posts for a few months now haha)

but you know when fics get so big behind the scenes and suddenly you're scared to post it? like, you've got several full chapters written, an entire world and magic system built, and an entirely fleshed out OC, but like... the thought of sharing it with the world is just? scary? yeah. that's where i am.

knight!eddie also doesn't leave my head. i just don't want to post this monster of a fic that honestly reads more like a fantasy novel because i don't know if y'all would like it haha. it's very intense and genuinely doesn't read like just a fic. it reads like a book. it is a book at this point. if y'all really are interested, i could always post snippets and such. it's not a matter of characterization and stuff, but... i just put a lot of work into it and it's my baby lol

I'm back and it's dratchrod timeee I have a new fic in the works (it's another old one that I'm finally posting), there are a few more memes/edits to go with the chapters and I'll put them on my blog because I love them so much. Thanks again @wheerl

Grace stands up from behind her desk and grabs her bag. “That's my job, remember? You just have to sit pretty and negotiate with him until he leaves.”

“Which he will do.”

“You don't know that. Now,” she continues, “I'm driving to Tommy's office now. I told TK that I'd wait for him there so he could sign off all the rental papers. You coming?”

Carlos sighs. “Do I have any chance to refuse?”

“You know you don't.”

“Then lemme drive,” he says, snatching the car keys from her hand. “I don't trust these icy roads.”

“You mean you don't trust me driving through them,” she teases him.

“Judd would kill me if he knew I played shotgun while you drove all the way to town in this weather.”

“That's true,” comes Judd's voice from Charlie's room. Carlos chuckles; he knows Judd has listened to everything they've said, but he would never think about interrupting his wife when she's tearing someone a new one. 

Carlos remembers clearly the day they got married. He remembers feeling the love that they shared—that they still share—and thinking he wanted that in his life. He wanted someone to hold and be held by, someone to trust, someone to walk through life hand in hand with. And he thought he had it back then, slender fingers intertwined with his as Grace and Judd exchanged vows.

Life has a rude way of helping people find their way to their fate.

Preview of Basilisk, my personal favorite of my risograph comics, and the project all my other recent medieval-inspired art descends from.

Styled after medieval illuminated manuscripts and printed using a custom color palette requiring 5 risograph inks (including metallic gold), Basilisk asks the question: what would drive a teenage girl to create a monster?
