i love. buying cheap books. but this one $50 book (cheapest I can get it)...looks so rich with information on a subject I really enjoy...but that's so much money for one book can I possibly justify that...oh the decisions...

#quil's unholy underworld #it'd be 53 dollars from thriftbooks #66 from my local bookstore #for the paperback version. hardcover is like 120 #it's like 700 pages #is this. a justified purchase #i legit just got 50 bucks like an hour ago...#do I buy. the expensive book. that will make my very happy #it's not available at the library by the way #it's a little bit. a little bit niche #although there's plenty of academic papers and research on the topic #it is still. a little niche #but it's like EXACTLY my interest #idk if it's still a special interest or if it'd just become a normal interest #it's kinda in a grey area right now #but it's definitely still an interest...oh i'm gonna EXPLODE #i don't think i've ever bought a book over 30 dollars in value #and even that is RARE #it's also rare! for me to buy just like a 20 dollar book!#i buy so many used. anything over 10 and I'm debating it #and this is FIFTY #but hngghnngg herophilus of chalcedon medicine in alexandria..aoriganw

One of my cosplay traits - which extends to home decor - is to insert little details for whom I am the primary (if not only) audience, but nonetheless (I hope) inject a sense of authenticity into my projects, if not necessarily that of screen-accuracy.

And that is why an envelope of genuine business receipts from the 1940s recently arrived (Crow was very perplexed by the customs declaration), just so I could stuff one or two (which you can barely see in the back) into Siegfried's accounting system. 😅

I do not understand why HanaKou, Aoinene, and Terukane shippers always act like their ships are so unpopular when they’re some of the most popular in the fandom😭 This isn’t a callout to any single person btw bcuz I’ve seen like half the fandom do it atp, it happens every day. I know it’s harmless but like c’mon guys. Ya’ll would not survive being a Terunene or MeiAoi shipper

I’m not even joking to me it sounds exactly like if someone called SatoSugu a rarepair

#just bcuz aoinene is yuri doesn’t mean it’s not popular #it’s among the most written for ships on ao3 and unlike most yuri ships most of those fics center them #terukane is top 3 on ao3 btw and infinitely more popular than most canon ships besides hananene and mitsukou #hanakou may be a bit frowned upon but they still have tons of edits and fan arts compared to the other fanon ships #no hate to any of these ships or the shippers obvi but like guys. guys have some self-awareness #it’s okay to like popular things you don’t have to pretend you’re part of a niche #i am proud to say that my favorite ship for this fandom is one of the most popular #aoinene #hanakou #okay a little bit of hate towards them some of ya’ll piss me off #(she said affectionately)#terukane #much love towards ya’ll <3 #my girlfriend loooves terukane <3 #toilet bound hanako kun #tbhk #jibaku shounen hanako kun #jshk #shipping
