A moment to rage because this infuriates me! Lost media should be a thing of the past! It happened when studios had to keep media on giant reels of film that took up so much storage space that they’d toss or burn when they didn’t think it was needed any more. Why is it still happening now when hours of footage can be saved on a pen drive?

This is why I still buy DVDs when I can. Sure, they’ll one day break or get scratched but at least that’s on me. I hate that we’ve just relied on streaming and considered that good enough. When studios remove media from streaming, with no reruns on TV or a physical DVD release, it’s just gone forever. This boggles my mind.

Also incredibly stupid to remove OTGW at the end of August when the autumn months of September-October are the prime time to watch it.

Pirate all your favorite shows, movies, and games while you still have the chance.

September 17, 2023 - Journal under cut

Hi, this is the first entry I'm adding to this blog. I hope to post at least once a month, if not more. Overall I want this blog to serve as a personal record. A place where I can express myself without worrying about it too much. So! If you recognize me from my main blogs/other media than. Please mind your business. Thanks lmao😭 I don't care if anyone I know follows me here but like. Know I will not be filtering myself the way I typically do. Also know that a lot of my work can be eyestrain-y, it'll be tagged but yk.

Today felt really disconnected for me, I had a hard time getting my tasks (tm) done. I wanted to keep working on other collage projects but just couldn't get to it. Overall it wasn't a bad day aside from the ever present feeling of dread and anxiety. I feel better than I did earlier but still not great. I plan to watch big top burger tonight, so I might post some drawings of that. I love my traditional drawings and how bright they are, but I feel like no one else does?? 😭 like, I'm a big believer in "art is meant to be fun, it doesn't matter how it looks as long as it's fun!" But even so I find myself feeling insecure about the media I gravitate to? Which doesn't even make sense. Anyways. I'll try to include some songs I like/listened to while drawing in my entries. Thanks for reading.

PMD TIME...I think I was right in the middle of my PSMD playthrough, and of course these two had my heart and always will...it was a really fun playthrough!

ELIAS AND GIFRE’S 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! You can see them in February of 2017, too, when I drew them for the first time! My favorite kids

Ah, yes...when I finally got back into Mother 3 :’D It became Claus Time for me again essentially LMAO 

April

It’s been tradition since 2016 to draw an anniversary piece for Mom 3, so of course I had to include this year’s! Unfortunately since it’s a long vertical piece I couldn’t really fit the whole thing into that square (so Claus is cut out :’0) but it still turned out really nice I think!

YUJIKIRI TIME BABEY!! I watched season 3 of SAO and that was it. I was a goner. These two are so perfect together, please just let them be happy sOB

I didn’t actually do a lot for June other than tons of pride icon requests, so I decided to go with when I designed Ikaia!! He’s baby. 

July

I fell back into Gravity Falls HARD lmao and it was so good to come back after like three years of being away. I got really into Timestuck fics back in July and so I drew some Timestuck kids!!

August

August was when I came up with the concept for The Time Marauder, as well as my designs for Emilio and Alekos!! This is the first original thing I’ve done in a while outside of ATS, so it was really refreshing to work on something brand new. I LOVE THESE KIDS SO MUCH

September

It was REALLY hard for me to pick just one piece for September because that was a month where I did a LOT of really good art;; but I settled on Diodeshipping because 1. I love them and 2. it was appropriate since I was right in the middle of rewatching XY back then!

October

OTGW time...I redrew a really old piece (the one for October 2015, actually!) and it was crazy to see my progress!

November

The time when PnF struck, and the rest is history...this is still one of my favorite artworks, I really love Perry and the boys, so much :’0c

December

I had a lot to choose from in December as well but I settled with the Secret Santa gift I made for my pal Kourt because I REALLY liked how it turned out! I don’t do complex backgrounds like this often so it was a lot of fun to experiment. And I love Lapis and Peridot!

Anyway I’d just like to say thank you to all of you again for sticking with me and watching me grow this year...it’s meant so much, and I’m SO grateful. This year I graduated college and I hit 15k followers on here so a lot of wonderful things have happened, and I just. THANK YOU for your support! I honestly couldn’t have reached this point without you guys. I hope you stick with me in 2020 as well! New decade, new beginnings right? :’D

In terms of non-school/music related things, I am working on a The Old Guard longfic, but it’s kind of just a little here and a little there. In terms of school/music related things (being as I am a music major), I’m learning a whole bunch of music, including two movements of the Elgar cello concerto, a Popper etude, parts to various pieces of music as arranged for cello ensemble, and a bunch of orchestra music. So. That’s what I’m working on mostly.

green tea with lemon. just one of those teabags. it also needs to be in one of my tea mugs, though, and it needs to have the Correct Teaspoon for the mug

chilly air: what’s your least favorite and favorite type of weather?

least favourite is Definitely rain when i’m outside, and mostly the muggy, moist kind of rain. it’s made up for by the fact that i have an umbrella that i love

my favourite varies depending on the time of year and my mood. sometimes i like when it’s hot, and sometimes i like when it’s stormy and rainy outside while i’m indoors. i also really really really love snow, because i’m a child

the color orange: do you have a specific song that reminds you of autumn? what is it?
