I think often about how the crux of Joseph and Faith E (an oc)’s relationship is that they met in a really awful religious group home as children, aged out separately and somehow drifted back together as adults.

And I think of the Twins Mickey and Lou’s dad Vince in FC:ND - how him and his daughters are expanded upon so little and have nothing to connect them to the emotional center of the game itself, how they’re kinda just simple and unexplained and there.

And then I think: wouldn’t it be fucked up if Vince came from that same group home? That he knew Faith and Joseph in some capacity - maybe not as their friend, but he knew of them - and that his children and Joseph’s children kinda just… drifted together into violent conflict with each other after the end of the world, completely by accident? As if by divine design? That after the apocalypse Joseph prophesied, he warped himself into a violent leader of an expansive cult, like Joseph but more obvious and blunt?
