Smashing together Monster High and Mouthwashing because that’s how my autism likes to play, designed Anya and love her, went to work on Daisuke, thinking of making him an aquatic monster because of the hibiscus imagery (and I think he’d get a long with Lagoona) then realized something

This is like, so similar a character design. Aquatic monster Daisuke would not look much different than G3 Gil. Visually this is the same person
