Dear present me Yesterday, October 12th, it finally happened!! I was inside the Richard Rogers theatre, and got to watch the glorious celebration of human passion and creativity that is Hamilton. How was it? A bit jarring not to watch it with the actors I’ve become familiar with, but by the second act I was to much in love with Javilton to really care about the rest. I both laughed and cried more then I expected. I also need to watch it five more times to really see and appreciate all the marvellous things going on on stage. The choreography was amazing, but I was too lost in the main plot to really have the ability to absorb it fully. The audience was amazing in its enthusiasm, and it really added to the overall experience. When the video recording of the original cast comes out, I will have to cancel my life that week, to just watch it over and over and over again.
