I've been seeing a lot of posts about the topic of doubles or asking friends to not interact with doubles and I wanted to share how I feel

You're not and you'll never be selfish for setting boundaries and prioritizing your comfort in your own space. It's okay to ask friends not to interact with doubles if it helps you feel safe. Your boundaries are valid, and people should respect them. It’s not wrong to prioritize your own mental health, and I believe that should be respected by friends or discussed together if you're comfortable with having a tag to block.

Setting boundaries doesn’t make you mean, selfish or unreasonable, you're allowed to ask people to respect your boundaries, you deserve to feel comfortable in your own space online.

The block button should be prioritized more, and Tumblr needs to fix its problem with being able to see users you've blocked in reblogs

hearing the words “you have no idea how long I’ve waited to do this” in a moment when you’re about to share an incredibly intimate and physically affectionate experience with someone drives me absolutely crazy. Like... just thinking about the amount of pining, the absolute torture that person must’ve went through while knowing they couldn’t have you. Thinking about all the times they’ve wanted to kiss you, to touch you, their heart racing from the lightest brush of your hand. Idk man... that line really gets me... being wanted so badly for such a long period of time and finally getting to heal the heart ache that that character/person is feeling? Perfection. Sublime line that people should not stop using in life, in writing, in anything.

Personally I will never be over how amazing it is that f/os can help you learn to love yourself. Because of course your f/os love you! Yes, even the parts of yourself you don’t like or aren’t satisfied with! They love ALL of you because you’re you. Everything that makes you who you are is deserving of love and appreciation in your f/os eyes. And I think that’s beautiful 💙
