My [15M] rival [15/50M] has been weirdly aggressive towards me ever since he lost his memories for the second(?) time. Should I be worried about him trying to kill me again?

I attempted to talk to him about it, we fought again, and it turns out he's been acting aggressive because he doesn't know how to show affection so he just defaults to violence. We ended up holding hands after we physically couldn't fight anymore. It was a great night and I think we're together now.

Hi everyone, using a throwaway account to make this post because my little brother knows my main and the embarrassment would kill me if he ever saw this. 

So for context, I've known this guy for a while now, at least in the context of my life. I've got a pretty hectic life and I'm a traveler, so I've met a lot of people and he's one of the few that's been able to keep up with me. Our first meeting was during a bit of a stressful time because he kind of inadvertently framed me for thievery (we look kinda alike and the police are stupid, it's not his fault but I was pretty pissed at the time) and got me arrested, so we ended up fighting about it in the middle of the street. I'm used to fighting and pretty good at it, so it was a surprise when he turned out to be basically my equal at it, which is pretty rare even among my other rivals. He got the upper hand on me for long enough that the police were able to arrest me again. I was pretty mad but also impressed. Our second meeting was even more stressful because I had just got out of jail after being arrested for the second time, and I was still angry about it so we fought again. I was about to win but then it turned out we were both in danger along with some friends of mine so we both left as fast as we could. Both of these times I could tell he was taking the fight seriously, but I could also tell he wasn't trying to KILL ME kill me. Y'know?

Anyway, in our next meeting he was definitely trying to kill me. Outright said it to my face. I won that fight thankfully, and I'm not even angry about it because a lot of people have tried to kill me over the years and also he has some kind of goal I was getting in the way of, and he didn't even succeed. He ended up changing his mind about that goal though, and when we next saw each other we were on the same side trying to deal with a mutual threat. 

And it was at that point I kind of realized I was in love. I've never really wanted a relationship because I thought it would get in the way of my lifestyle, but with this guy specifically it wouldn't be a problem. I would have told him about it, but then I thought he died and I didn't see him for a while. I wasn't too broken up about it because we only knew each other for a couple days, but I was still sadder than I thought I would have been.

He ended up coming back to life though, and he had lost his memories for the second time in his life (long story I'm not gonna get into) and he didn't really remember me anymore. I know from a mutual friend of ours that he remembered me well enough to be annoyed by my name, which made me irrationally happy, and I think he did end up getting his memories back, but when we first saw each other he definitely didn't know who I was. We fought again, it was a tie, and then we ended up teaming up to take down a mutual enemy again. 

Things have been a bit less chaotic since then. We've fought a couple more times but nothing serious, he's saved my life, I've saved his, you know how it goes. We haven't really talked about anything that happened, but that's fine because neither of us have ever been much for verbal communication and we understand each other just fine. I've tried getting over my crush on him, but that's never really worked because we see each other a lot due to our lifestyles and we have some mutual friends in common, and I like spending time with him anyways, even if we're just beating each other up most of the time.

Personality wise, he's basically my polar opposite, but we get on pretty well despite that. I think aside from my general attraction to danger and his ability to match me in a fight and a race that might be the main thing that draws me to him. I've got a lot of friends, but never one so different from me and yet so similar. He's just always been special to me.

But the main reason I'm making this post is because despite all we've been through, he still acts like we're enemies at worst and temporary allies at best. We fight almost every time we meet unless something less serious is going on, and he's pretty grumpy and mean to me all the time. I like this about him, but it does make me question if he even sees me as anything more than a rival, and I don't know how to ask him because we don't talk about weird emotional stuff. I also think that asking him directly could maybe lead to another murder attempt, which would be fun, but it's not what I'm looking for anymore. I don't mind all the fighting, but just once I'd like to kiss him on the mouth instead of punching his teeth in, y'know?

You let a small whimper leave your lips as Chan gave your neck a soft bite, his warm hands sneak underneath your t-shirt. “Chan we don’t have enough time for this, you guys start the show in 15 minutes. We can continue this later, I should’ve been seated with yours and Felix’s family already.” You said softly. “Mm. They can wait just need to feel you, need to touch my good luck charm before the show for extra luck.” He hummed pulling away from your neck to brush his nose against yours before pressing his pink plump lips to yours. You had to admit it was incredibly sexy when he was needy for you, but in this situation you worried about the start of the show and the fact you were supposed to be in your seat by now. “Baby, as much as I’d like you to fuck me until I can’t walk, you’ll have to wait.” You said softly ghosting your lips over his. “But trust me it’ll be worth the wait. Now get you sexy ass on that stage.” You giggle before giving a teasing tap onto his butt. The action causing him to let out a soft chuckle before grabbing your chin between his thumb and index finger. “Fine, but when we get back to the hotel you better be ready for a long night.” He smirked. His expression softened leaning in to kiss you one more time before giving you a soft smile. “You really are my good luck charm. I love you little mouse.” You smiled at the silly nickname he had given not to long after you started working with him. “I love you too. I’ll see you after the show.”

As usual you loved watching the concerts the boys put on, but being able to watch it with some of their family in Sydney made it even better. Chris’ family embraced you soon after you were introduced to them. Same went for Felix’s family becoming close to both of their sisters. Though because of the flight restrictions and not enough free time it had been years since you’ve seen them, except for Hannah, so when Chris had some rare time off he had invited you to go with him to spend time with his family. Unfortunately you didn’t have any free time when it came to your own work schedule to go with him, plus you both couldn’t risk seen together in public especially without the other members. Even though you had been in a relationship with him for almost 5 years, JYP wanted to keep it secret and so did you and Chris; not wanting to make the relationship public because the both of you valued privacy.

After the concert, you were escorted to the hotel in a separate car arriving 10 minutes before the boys even left the venue. You knew that once Chan came back to the hotel he’d want to wash up, so you leaned down grabbing him some clean comfy clothes before doing the same thing for yourself and setting them on the bed. This was one of the things you liked to do when you both are home and especially when you came to stay with him on tour, you liked making sure he was properly taken care of. After setting out the clean clothes you then proceeded to the bathroom to take off your makeup and put your hair up before changing into some sleep shorts and a big t-shirt. Grabbing your laptop you walked over to the bed and climbed up so your back was against the headboard, you had left for the venue before you could finish up the bit of work you had left to do.

You had been so focused that you didn’t hear Chan walk into the room until you felt a hand on your ankle causing you to jump. “Sorry baby, didn’t mean to scare you.” He said as he laid on his side facing you, as his hand that was still on your ankle rubbed up and down your leg. You hummed closing your laptop setting it on the night stand, leaning forward to run your fingers through his hair. “I got your clothes and toiletries set up for you on the bathroom counter, I’ll order us some food as well. I’m sure you’re hungry.” You said softly giving him a small smile. He smiled at you lovingly softly grabbing your hand and placed a soft kiss to the back of it. “God how did I get so lucky.” He said softly. Chris’ lips soon turned into a seductive smile. “You know, I am hungry but I think I’m hungry for something a bit sweeter; definitely my favorite meal and the best part is only I get to enjoy this delicacy.” His soft plump lips start to slowly kiss up your leg closest to him brown eyes glued to your face, he loved pulling reactions from you especially when he would touch and kiss anywhere that wasn’t your lips. “You take such good care of me, now it’s my turn.” You blushed looking away from his heated gaze, your could feel your panties dampen and your vaginal walls flutter around nothing just aching to be filled. “Baby girl look at me.” Chris said voice deep with lust. You bit your lip looking at him but you continued to struggle to keep your eyes on him.

God he loved that after 5 years he could still make you flustered with just one look, touch or word. “Is my princess being shy?” He smirked already knowing the answer he stood up before taking off his shirt and gripped your ankles pulling you to the end off the bed kneeling between your legs and nuzzled his nose against your clothed core, the action causing you to let out a tiny whimper as you sat up on your forearms to watch him. “Damn you smell heavenly. Gonna take such good care of you baby, just like you take good care of me.” He placed kisses on each of your thighs before looking up at you for permission, his beautiful brown eyes were now darkened with lust and a hint of pure love. You bit your lip before giving a small nod, before you knew it he pressed a kiss to your center that was still covered before sliding your shorts and panties down in one swift yet gentle tug. “You ready baby girl? Because this is just the beginning of a long night.” You let a whimper in excitement and anticipation, the sound caused the already sexually charged man to smirk. This man was going to be the death of you.

In which Jatemme wants to hear you smile.

Warnings: fluff! Comfort! At work post, may be a few mistakes but I'll edit later!

You walked further into your cubicle, briefly taken aback by the cascades of oranges-reds-whites and browns bursting from your desk.

Monday was hard enough but after such a busy weekend tending to life's measures, you felt as if you had no break away from the grind before you were clocking back in again.

Here is was the last 15 or so days of the month and you haven't done a thing to celebrate....

You fussed to your man a bit but decided that it was best to just trudge through as normal. It sucked that October was the highlight of your year as a child but now that you've grown, business and life just didn't seem to make room for the autumnal wonder.

"That was here since this morning," Ida settled across from you at her own desk, eyes twinkling behind her glasses, "I wonder who's the culprit?"

You laughed a bit at her tease. You knew very well who it was and it was bold for his #1 partner in crime to pretend otherwise.

Your cubicle reminded you of a forgotten autumnal grove. Sparkling vases of dahlias, white and orange roses, purple and deep red pansies.

There were two baskets, one filled with ornate muffins and a wrapped apple fritter that filled the air with their pleasing, sweet scent. A candle that remained unlit and was surrounded by bath salts, bath bombs, and a pair of pumpkin patterned fuzzy socks you were tempted to slip into as soon as possible.

You pulled your chair from your desk and had to catch the thin bag seated there as it nearly toppled from your excitement. Inside was you're favorite wine and a familiar, slim container for another one of your favorite indulgence that you knew better than to pop open then and there.

The more you poked and prodded, the more you found. Handfuls of Hershey kisses, a pack of your favorite fruity gum, apple cider scented lip balm and hand lotions. There were even scented markers accenting the colorful sticky notes that would be perfect for your notes taking.

Your cell rang in your hand and with a quick glance at the clock, you took the call.

"You're entering the Olympic type of skill when it comes to surprising me," You smiled into the receiver as you settled down in your manmade heaven, "I don't even know what to say!"

"Sound like you're smiling, that's all I wanted to hear." Jatemme's voice carried the same tone, "Just wanted to let you know you got lunch coming, so don't get none of them nasty noodles--y'hear?"

Suddenly the day didn't seem so long or unfair as you felt your cheeks warm. "Yes, I hear you..."

"Mhmm. Still smiling. That's what I wanna hear." Jatemme praised softly, "I ain't gonna keep you, go do your thing and I'll see you at lunch. Yeah?"

"Yeah! I'll be waiting for you..."

"I'll be waiting for you too, baby."

Uncaring of the prying eyes, you angled the receiver to your mouth so Jatemme could hear all the kisses you were blowing his way. You only stopped when you hear him laugh and shoo you away from the phone.

"Keep it up and Imma come up there and get those in person, fuck them. They can't keep me out."

"No one said they could but I'll let you go since you're getting riled up."

Finally disconnecting the call, you held your cheeks as you looked around you. Heaven. You felt so loved.

Your cheeks were already starting to ache from how you grinned, looking though the splendor left for you. Others from the office meandered by as if fulfilling tasks but you met many a wandering eye through the petals and stems curling over you.

It felt silly to think of it like that, but it felt like Jatemme was right there with you. Evidence of his care wiped away all the weepy feelings that came with Monday.

Feeling stronger, you pulled up your database and cracked your knuckles. Looking over your treats and picking up a Hershey, you popped the morsel into your mouth and used the foil to block the time on the clock.

You were going to knock out these little hours with no problem at all....

Thanks so much for the tag, @lilolilyr! It seems that I did this in April, so I'm going to copy/paste any of the answers that haven't changed 😂

1. How many works do you have on AO3? 272 works total, but 110 of those are tagged with 'fanart' and have fewer than 100 words, so I have about 162 fics.

2. What's your total AO3 word count? 1,357,669

3. What fandoms do you write for? TCW and a tiny bit for the Murderbot Diaries, though I've done a handful of images for other fandoms like Arcane, Dune, Trigun, The Expanse, House of the Dragon, Malevolent...

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? A bunch of my works with the most kudos are images, but if we're talking fics, then I think it's just some of my oldest ones...

That’s Not How It Happened (This Is How It Happened) - Fives arc fix-it and my first fic.

Orbital Decay - Codywan that I haven't edited since I posted it, so I can't vouch for the quality.

Modulation - Another one I haven't touched since I posted it, but it's an 'Echo gets rescued much earlier than in canon and he and Fives reunite' fix-it of sorts.

Will You Walk With Me? - Waxer's pov from the start of the war to the (fix-it) end, and it mostly focuses on his and Boil's friendship (Waxer & Boil or Waxer/Boil pre-relationship - take your pick). Even though this certainly isn't the best thing I've written, it's my baby. 🧡

Interference - Umbara fix-it featuring minor canon characters and some necessary OCs in the first chapter, then more major canon characters later.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Probably You're Just Harder to See Than Most, which ends very sadly on its own, but it's part of a larger fix-it including Modulation above, so Fives and Echo get reunited.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Pfff like basically all of them, idk.

8. Do you get hate on fics? No, just on one sketch dump, where someone went through 6 chapters of spicy cloneshippy images and then decided they needed to complain about it being gross and immoral. I had a good laugh.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Absolutely. I'm not really sure how to interpret 'what kind,' but I generally stick to 'porn with feelings' plus some relatively 'tame' kinks.

10. Do you write crossovers? Nope.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Nope.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes! :D

14. What’s your all time favorite ship? Hm, I suppose if we're defining that as like, "what ship have you intensely shipped for the longest amount of time," it would be Destiel? I was veeeeeery into that ship for many years (though at this point, Waxer/Boil is inching closer).

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Maybe the one I'm working on now?

16. What are your writing strengths? Starting something and working on it until it's finished.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I have a lot of trouble generating ideas on my own.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I think it's fine as long as it's either A. very short and clear from context or B. for some reason, the writer is intending to confuse the reader and obfuscate what was said. I know I've said it before, but I'm not gonna scroll to the bottom of a fic every few paragraphs to find the translations for whole phrases or sentences. If the amount of 'other language' starts making the dialogue difficult to follow, I'm just gonna nope out.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Technically, I wrote one thing for Gundam Wing back in like 2000, but I can't even remember what I did with it or what it was about, exactly. Other than that, TCW.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? flsdlfg that's really difficult... idk man, if it's quality we're talking about rather than sentimentality, I'd say it's a toss-up between these three 😅:

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? N/A. All my angst is in the beginning/middle. my endings are all happy so far.

(Although, I do have a bullet point in my fic ideas file that is a Haunting of Hill House rewrite but Autumn Court/Forest house, and if you've ever read the book, you know that calling the ending "angsty" would be an understatement)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? So Reverie is very short and is sorta set after Elucien have already had their happy ending(in more ways than one ;) The ending of the Scenic Route is also happy and it took way more work to get there, so I'd say that one.

8. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I'm like the writing equivalent of a toddler right now--I'm still learning to write regular stuff haha. I want to write smut one day, but need to take my baby steps to get there. Even when i do, though i think it will not be as explicitly descriptive of the acts themselves, but more emotionally driven (I really like the style of the sex scenes in Song of Achilles if that gives you the vibe)

9. Do you write crossovers? I don't think i'm creative enough for that tbh

10. Have you ever had a fic translated? Nope. maybe one day.

11. Have you ever co-written a fic before? I have not. I don't even know how that would work esp bc i am a control freak, but i'll never say never.

I have a handful of OTPs the primary one right now is obviously Elucien, but I have a special place in my heart for The Doctor and River Song(Doctor Who) and Dramione(who i never really shipped when reading the books, but this was the ship that got me into fanfiction and now i'm addicted)

13. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? So my Current WIP is already completely drafted, i just have to edit and post it, so i'm not worried. I do have an outline of a really long High King Lucien fic started that i worry i won't finish before their book comes out (and that once their book comes out i won't be motivated to write it any more, but we'll see)

14. What are your writing strengths? This is hard because i'm so new to writing, i feel like i don't have any strengths yet, but I'm gonna say dialogue, because it's what i enjoy writing the most. most of my first drafts are very dialogue driven and i fill in the story around the conversations

15. What are your writing weaknesses?  Internal monologues/explaining characters emotions. I tend to leave out details/explanations of a character's feelings because I know what they're feeling and i just expect the reader to inherently know everything that I know even though it's impossible.

16. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I love when people do this, but my spanish and french are both so rusty i don't feel confident enough to try. Maybe some latin in future works for spells and stuff, but in terms of dialogue, probably not.

17. First fandom you wrote for? Acotar! I only just started writing in June of this year, so i haven't had the chance to write for other fandoms yet, but i'd like to eventually.

18. Favorite fic you’ve written? The Scenic Route! i mean i only have two to choose from--and i have a soft spot for Reverie since it was the first fic i ever posted--but I've put a lot of time and love into The Scenic Route, and I'm excited to finish sharing it. ❤️

so if you're involved in the conservation/shelter/etc scene in paldea then you probably alr know about this but hide-n-seek 2024 is happening from august 12th to august 16th!! hide-n-seek is basically an annual event that hideaway does every year to share updates about what we've been up to, spread awareness, fundraise, and get the community involved! all three days will have food available for purchase and for days 1-4 the sanctuary will be open for extended hours! we'll also be selling raffle tickets from the beginning of day 1 to 3:45 PM on day 5! the raffle's gonna have a shit ton of cool prizes ranging from a set of PENCHAM brand pens to a limited edition conservation themed uno deck to art pieces of the pokemon here and even game consoles!

day 2 (august 13th) is going to be themed around ride pokemon!! we're gonna have a petting zoo open with some of our most gentle pokemon, and offering short rides on certain pokemon as well. we usually close early on tuesdays, but on the 13th we'll be open all day. the petting zoo does cost 645₽ per person, as do rides, so keep that in mind. this is one of the best days to come with kids though!

days 3 and 4 (august 14th and 15th), like always, are days specifically meant for trainers who are looking to adopt a new pokemon! we have plenty of pokemon of various demeanors, shapes, and sizes, so whether this would be your first pokemon or your 50th, there's no need to worry; there'll be a pokemon for you. for these two days our adoption fees are also 25% off.

day 5 (august 16th) is our day especially designated for kids and family! while all days of hide-n-seek are family-friendly and kids of all ages are allowed to participate, day 5 is when we host a variety of educational and fun activities for elementary and middle school aged kids! the girafarig feeding is one of those, but we'll also have the petting zoo from day 2, a safari activity, a falconry workshop for older kids, and a ton more! at 4:15 we'll also be doing the raffle drawing!!

Just adding this ooc section to make it known that hide-n-seek is going to be a small arc spanning the next two weeks and ending on August 16th. While hide-n-seek is going to be very low stakes for the most part, on the 16th it will become a higher stakes event as the end of this arc converges with the end of patchwork sanctuary. As I figure things out more concretely for the end of the arcs, I might make a post that is more detailed, but for now, what I know for sure is that the ending of the arcs will involve a Pokemon attack and potentially a child getting injured. I'll be tagging with #tw animal attack and #tw child injury so feel free to block those tags if need be, as well as #patchwork sanctuary and #hide-n-seek

edit after i wrote like 4 paragraphs of this post: this is like 1 mil disjointed thoughts abt kirishima and krbk its not structured at all and most of it is really loosely related. anyways >

first off this slides presentation was like the bible to 15 year old me. please keep in mind its a relic from 2017 or something. the only reason i still even have access to it is because i still use the same gmail lol. if whoever made that ppt found out i was posting about it they'd probably shoot me in the head. so im sorry for that. but its an important piece of history. For Me. it has alllll the staples of anime shipper copium so its a valuable relic.

i'm at a point where im too balls deep in krbk because ive been obsessed w them since i was a freshman in highschool that i have a hard time determining what is and isn't a stretch. i stand by most of the takes i had about bnha when i was younger but i also recognize that a lot of my reads of the characters are colored by whatever i cooked up back then. like how people forget what the source material is like cuz theyre fanon poisoned except instead of fanon its the takes of a single 15 year old who had an ego about doing well in english class. all of this to say that slides copium aside i am really really certain kirishima is gay coded but i can't tell if im saying that because its true or because i've been reading him as gay for almost 6 years.

anyways actual post instead of preface. kirishima is ultimately a tertiary character and he gets increasingly irrelevant as the series goes on which PISSES ME THE HELL OFF cuz he's my special boy. ultimately his plot relevance was almost entirely an immediate result of his closeness to bakugou; the overhaul arc is the first and kind of only major moment he has to stand On His Own (meaning as his own person rather than Bakugou's Best Friend), but even then his relationship with bakugou still plays a decent role. bakugou has been critical to the development of kirishima's self esteem to the point where "stupid strong" is something he thinks about to conjure the strength he needs to survive a hopeless situation.

side note, i really love the overhaul arc its one of my ult faves probably second only to kamino, but i think the anime really dropped the ball SPECIFICALLY HERE and i think about this all the time

^ so a big part of the fight w rappa was that kirishima goes in thinking he;s kinda lame. like that's whats at the core of this arc for kirishima, he thinks his quirk is lame and he thinks he's worse than all his classmates and hes always sort of been a coward when it came down to it and since coming to ua every instance of brashness and bravery has been fully conscious and intentional as he forces himself out of his shell to become who he wants to be. and overhaul is the Moment where that confidence and strength is being put to the test, without his classmates to lean on.

and he LOSES against rappa. its a fucked up matchup and he loses because his quirk is defensive and fatgum's quirk is defensive and rappa's quirk is the perfect opposite. but rappa is still impressed by him and he compliments him and shows fat where he can patch kirishima up. the core of rappa's reaction is that kirishima is a KID. this kid is 15 and he put up a hell of a good fight and i know he's gonna kick ass someday! that day isn't today but that doesn't mean he sucks! and having that dumbass smirk that the anime gave him just dodges that completely compared to the bleeding broken look in the manga. he LOST. he almost DIED because he wasn't strong enough and he is aware of that? he puts on a brave face and isn't entirely disappointed in himself but at the same time he. couldn't. whatever. he got back to the dorms and told mina he still had a long way to go. whatever i don't care.

anwyays ive said it before but i think it really reallyblows that krbk gets not even sidelined but basically forgotten cuz bakugou having like. a comfortable friendship is so wildly important and it's like the major reason he was able to grow enough to get to the point he's eventually at with deku. like most of baku's character development is not a direct result of interactions with deku it's the broadstroke result of interactions with ua as a whole, and kirishima "only person who bakugou views as his equal for no apparent reason other than he's gutsy and fun to be around" eijirou is pretty explicitly the centerpiece of that. he;s the first person to reach out to bakugou and bakugou actually reaches back. like their relationship is something genuinely good and its safe and its happy and with the insane turmoil of (im gonna use bakudeku as a unit term as i am wont to do but yk its platonic) bkdk that's like!! really important to me!!! especially with a story that takes a lot of care to run the casual silly teenager antics parallel to the superhero shit, i find the fact that bakugou has this sort of weird and stupid and embarrassing first crush thing happening w this loud and sweetie pie dude w stupid ass hair to be soooooooooooooo charming and fitting and awesome. it makes the story better! to me!

literally one of my fave faaaave things abt bnha is the care taken to like. make u feel engaged w the supporting cast and like reminding u that theyre individual people with personalities and likes and dislikes and relationships with each other and close friends and whatever. the fucking!!! room tours literally just to show everyone's decoration tastes and cute little interactions between characters and hearing their opinions on each other and stuff!! kaminari plays with ojirous tail during class! kirishima wears a bandana around his head at the end of the day because the hairspray doesn't hold as well and his hair starts flopping! the teachers do karaoke and ectoplasm can make more clones after a few drinks! and because that whole backdrop is built up with so much care, the idea that yes they are risking their lives and the world is falling apart, they're also still HIGH SCHOOLERS and they are still acting like it. so bkaugou's relationships outside of deku are reaaaally important to me because like. yes bkdk is the relationship the story is built around but the gradual building of relationships with his classmates is also important, relationships that are normal and relaxed and built on something other than 15 years of ego and competition and jealousy and admiration and hate and ego again. yk??????

^this is kind of why making a bnha comic has been appealing to me lately i just think their stupid antics are soooo cute and the fact that the story directly gives attention to that aspect of their lives is rly valuable to me ..... anyways Kirishima is a hero who is popular amongst men -_- This keeps me going

What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)? nevermore! and not just for wordcount either, though maybe a little bit because i've spent so much time with it. i'm just extremely pleased with the world building i've done and the complexity and depth of the plot and how i've gotten so far into it and i don't feel like i've become wayward yet, which is what usually happens even before i reach this point. i'm so pleased. i'm so excited to reach 200k and see where i'm up to and what's ahead.

Hum, tough one. I guess being struck by lighting is pretty cool, not that I get to see it that often. Also being hit by a satellite, but I’ve literally never seen it happen in my game unless I cheat.

Alpha, obviously. Although I prefer to call my style ‘semi-realistic’.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight?

I used to, but now I’m like, nah. Let those sims have some meat on their bones!

If I only had to pick one, then Gunmod’s radiance lighting. Picked based on the fact that it’s always the first mod I get whenever I have to reinstall.

I think most things are a weakness for me. I'm told my descriptive writing is great, but I always think it needs so much improvement because of my inability to visualize anything ever. But if yall can see it, then that's fantastic. Otherwise, long scenes with dialogue. I struggle so bad with extended dialogue.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Would stress me tf out lol. I think it's great. I've almost done it. But I don't trust google translate near enough and I don't personally know anyone who speaks fluent French. So we all just gonna have to use our imaginations when Lena walks through that parking garage.

Technically, Law and Order SVU, though it was never finished or posted anywhere. I needed Katie McGrath to come grab my inspiration by the throat, evidently.

The Picture of Dorian Gray (The Original 1980 Uncensored Edition) by Oscar Wilde

well i read a book. there were some really interesting threads in this, i thought Dorian being a narcissistic weirdo was cool to read about, but other than the end of the book taking a much darker turn, i did't find much about this impressive. i don't like reading books expecting them to work harder for me to enjoy them, but i struggled to want to read this.

Must I Go by Yiyun Li

wasn't what i expected it to be, not really a fan of what it was. you give me an 88 year old woman who's survived her eldest daughter's suicide and raised her granddaughter and is looking after her greatgrandaughter and what do we do? we spend almost 200 pages of her dissecting the journal of some random man who ended up marrying his cousin and lived his whole life not knowing he had said daughter? why. i don't care! i don't care!!!!!!! and then when Lila (the character in question) did talk about herself, her mother having her dreams crushed in her marriage, her three marriages and further 4 children, it's just brushed over and kind of shrugged at. none of the "important" men in her life are alive and yet they took up so much of the book. whatever you keep dead people alive in your memory but other than being reminded how selfish and uncaring Lila was there wasn't much about this i felt positive about. wouldn't recommend, went straight in my donation pile.

Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay by Elena Ferrante

i finally did it. what a rollercoaster! i absolutely hate reading first person books when i find the character annoying. not to say a bad person, or morally defunct or anything. just plain old annoying. Elena Greco is annoying. fine in the first 2 as she's 10-22 years old and it's expected, but the third book sees her in her mid 20s early 30s and i genuinely wanted to throw this book at a wall. i struggle to see this as a tale of friendship at this point just because like. they aren't friends??? they're two women who at this point are bound by history and maybe that's the point but i want better for Lila and she remains the star of the show

The Story of the Lost Child by Elena Ferrante

i finished the quartet and feel emotionally wrung out. this was going fine but i think it's around 350 pages in there's a full blown "relationship" between Lila's 24 year old son and Elena's 15 year old daughter???? reading from the perspective of an awful mother was so jarring, too. really enjoyed the series, i just feel like i felt very untethered towards the end and i just wanted it to end

The only thing I've written for this is 'Essentially the story of different people realizing that Sakamoto is actually really hot.' I can't even say anything to defend myself, Chief.

3.Copper veins, Hands clenched tight

Kouka on Kounan fic. Follows different epithets she has throughout her life [The Blessed, The Cursed, The Lonely, The Master of Kounan, Kouka]

4. Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep 

Premise has huge spoilers so I’ll just give a sparknotes version - Takasugi fakes his death, manages to piss off Sakamoto, Zura, and the entirety of Kabukicho.

5. Digging too Deep 

Sakamoto thinks about his childhood, realizes its more messed up than he thought.

6. As Winds Pass By 

Also has huge spoilers in its premise. Sparknotes version is that this takes place in a world where the canon ending of Gintama happened, and then the second movie's premise of the epidemic happens. Somehow, in the midst of all of this, Sakamoto realizes that he's now immortal.

7. For all the stars in the universe (I was entranced into orbiting you) 

 Atmospheric 2nd person fic following Sakamoto and his unrequited love towards Gintoki. Lots of space metaphors.

8. A person by any other name would still be just as stupid 

Absolutely no clue what's it about, I have written a page though.

9. You know you have cool friends when you guys would be considered an invasive species

My Hero Academia crossover where the Joi 4 get dropped into the MHA universe, get annoyed at the league of villains and decide they're gonna create a better one. A very crack-y fic.

Sakamoto isn't quite human. follows his life from birth to just after the end of the war. I have been half-jokingly calling it my magnum opus.

11. Kakashi’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (Posted, will update)

Naruto crossover where Kakashi gets dropped into the Gintama universe. No I have not abandoned it, yes it has been like 3 years since I last updated.

 A Pacific Rim au set in the early days where Jagars where piloted by one pilot. Hal witnesses the destruction of Coast City by Cyborg Superman, but the whole thing is covered up by the board of directors. Hal lashes out at the, and as a result he is put on increasing dangerous missions to get rid of him. They also get Barry (who figured out the one person system is severely harming pilots but isn’t allowed to go public with the findings) to monitor his health and to attempt to ‘spy’ on him. They both ending up slowly realizing the other also hates the Shatterdome and try to fight the corruption of the place.

🐍- If you want to make an edit based around your relationship with your caregiver

This is the one that made me figure this was gonna take a while. I've been really into moodboards lately so I HAD to take a swing at this one!!

I'm so happy with it, I feel it gets the whoooole picture across. UDG bad ending where Shirokuma convinces me I'm sick and need to stay with him and slowly starts infantalizing me and triggering my Age Regression on purpose until I'm basically baby mode all the time, full controlling Yandere mastermind style <3

🦝. What are they like as a caregiver?

Veeeeerry sweet and cuddly. So long as I listen don't ever ever leave my room ant take my meds when he tells me too he's sweet as can be, lots and lots of affection and gifts he gets from the surface. He takes such great care of me most days I don't even feel sick! Though I aaaam always sleepy, side effect of the medicine.

At first it was just the Monokuma biased, omg sweet cutest Monokuma my beloved I thought but like... It just seems so much better with him?? He's what I thought Usami was gonna be.

Cute and sweet on the outside, completely unhinged and unfeeling on the inside. Zero emotions and a perfect facade, you'd never know. He's creepy, stalkerish, but so so cute and innocent acting. He could get away with about anything.

It was when he started creeping on Komaru that he really shot me through the heart honestly. Subtle creepy, a little clingy, the kind of guy to say "No hug?" to a stranger when they're about to leave after talking to them for like 15 minutes. And he'd GET AWAY WITH IT TOO!!! Because he's SO CUTE!!!

In my first watch of UDG I was so caught up on the Warriors of Hope and being their Dad-type that I didn't really focus on anything else. Like yeah I LIKED Shirokuma's lil creeper activity but that was a C plot to me. It wasn't until a few years later when Regressed me got into Horror that this twisted little Infantalization and Medical Gaslighting story started to bubble up, and I just rolled with it.

My little bad ending AU... something about it brings me a lot of comfort. It was also the first sign that maaaaybe I shouldn't interact with main stream regressors too much kdsjfkjdsfk

1. What’s your favorite sims death?

I can tell this is gonna be a tough list already. Lol. I don’t have a favorite sim death as I have a very hard time with letting go of my sims.  I guess the only time I’m less affected is in THE DEEP DOWN, where victims were collateral damage. Still, I had control over that. Random Sim deaths? Traumatized.

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match?

Absolutely both. Maxis mix all the way.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? 

This is an interesting question. Usually, no. But if the character tends to be fit by nature, and I come back and they’ve gained weight, I’ll cheat for story continuity. However, in gameplay mode, I’ll just have them work out.  If they are not into fitness, I just let it go and see where it leads. 

4. Do you use move objects?

 Tossup between Basemental and Wicked. Because, reasons.

Whatever the first one was. I just got the first one when it came out.

I secretly wish I was a builder, but the process stresses me out too much.  I like to decorate when I don’t have the mental bandwidth for writing (I find it calming).  Gameplay is fine, but the curveballs, get to me sometimes.

The Sims 4 is the only thing I play right now; I have the Sims 3, but only half of it on digital. So even though I loved it, I haven’t bothered  to fix it.

No, but I kick the idea round from time to time.

I’ve always loved playing with fashion and fantastical looks / characters, but as my storytelling has grown, I am enjoying making more “everyday” sims. My latest obsession is middle aged and elder sims.

I started off very alpha, but the sound of my laptop weeping softly in the distance made me reevaluate.

At least five years, probably longer. I had another Simblr a while back and then started over when I got serious about posting my story. I had one for years and didn’t even post anything; I just read stories and looked at cc (I didn’t even use it then).

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? 

That’s a tough one. I’ve always loved city living, but if I’m being honest, I do love the world of Tartosa, even though we all know the gameplay is tragic. I’m loving growing together though.

26. What expansion/games/staff pack do you want next? 

I try not to think about it; sad that every new pack elicits such anxiety. New packs = week of playing my vanilla save, then another week of rebuilding my main save, then finally seeing if the pack is even worth it. Okay, rant over.
