Leo’s probably the most relieved that his crush gets on with his family, their safety always his top priority, but at the same time he can’t help but feel that he’s lacking something with how close they seem to be versus with him

Such as he wishes that he could be more of a social butterfly like Mikey, scientifically wise in the way Donnie is, or even more of a fun risk taker like Raph

Leonardo thinks that his role as leader makes him come off as some sort of serious kill joy to his interest, and it truly does bum him out, wishing that he could step out of his introverted shell and not be so stiff around them

It would take a deep talk with Master Splinter for Leo to take the chance to talk things out with his crush, his father’s statement replaying out in his mind that he sees the whole story from his point of view rather than a few sentences on the page his son is so tunnel versioned on

Raphael:

Raph won’t ever say it aloud but he appreciates the bond his crush and brother/s have; till he realizes he’s caught feelings for them

Absolutely the most conflicted about the situation and is also the one who comes off as the most jealous, though everyone thinks he’s just being more of an ass than usual

In reality he’s masking over his deep rooted insecurities

He sure as hell isn’t wise and all mystic like Leo, or a magnet of hospitality like Mikey, and there’s a reason he’s the brawns of the team while Donnie is the brains

Raphael hates the notion that he’s intimidating to his interest; he already felt like a freak to begin with, but to feel like the non desirable one amongst his brothers is a new low he didn’t know was possible

Takes a miracle and a half to get him to speak his mind to his crush, meanwhile everyone around them is dying because of the obvious pinning from both idiots in love

Donatello:

Donnie finds comfort in the fact that the groups friend gets along so well with his brother/s, which is why it’s so frustrating to him that he also somehow really hates it

It was never an issue before and he quickly comes to the conclusion that its because he’s formed a crush on the groups friend

Tries to reason with himself that the feeling will pass but when it doesn’t is when it really starts to become a problem

Just because Donnie is the most intellectual member of the group, doesn’t mean he’s immune to in-depth emotions and is very quickly drowned in envious insecurities

Things like why can’t he be cool and collected like Leo, or as whimsy as Mikey, or as impressively strong like Raphael

He only ever even thinks about saying something to his crush after Leo has a talk with him on why he shut himself in his lab for a week while unintentionally giving his crush the cold shoulder; Leo’s statement that they were very concerned they did something wrong being what pushes Donnie because despite his overwhelming emotions he can’t sleep with the fact he made them feel so hurt

Michelangelo:

Mikey absolute adores that closeness of his brother/s and crush! Mans just keeps collecting a bigger family!

Which is why he doesn’t particularly hold anything against his bother/s for the attention they get from his crush, but more so gets too deep in his head about himself

Mikey knows he can be a lot, that he can be annoying and loud and forget others personal space

With his brothers, he’s used to it, knowing they never truly mean anything negative they say to him, and while his crush hasn’t ever said anything horrid to him, there must be some reason they spend all their time with his brother/s versus with him

Turns out it is because he’s lot, but not in the way he thinks!

It’s Raph who talks some sense into Mikey, the former being the first to notice something really bothering the youngest, and despite making a promise to their friend not to say anything, Raph admits to Mikey the reason behind his crushes apparent avoidance

It’s because they actually have the biggest crush on him as well, but unlike Mikey in all of his excitable nature, they’re much more shy and reserved

The news absolutely breaks Mikey in the best of ways, dude is on cloud nine and trying his hardest to resist running out into the lair to grab his crush into twirling hug

In conclusion, Technoblade is good at calming people down without even trying (I was literally having a breakdown and all I needed to do was listen to the silly pig man talk about Greek mythology. It must all be part of his master plan…)

Speaking of listening to his voice, here’s a scenario.

“Technoblade, can you read to me?”

“…what?”

“Read to me.”

“I’m not reading you a bedtime stor-“

“I wanted you to tell me about Greek mythology.”

“Fine. Come here.”

Long story short, he starts by reading you just one story. That one story turns into the entire history of the Greek gods and goddesses… yeah you pass out pretty quickly. But Technoblade isn’t one to stop mid-ramble. Once he notices you’re asleep, he’ll continue talking, just quieter. He’ll eventually get sleepy himself, and soon enough… you’re both asleep.

Everybody talks about failed love relationships or break up between lovers,but what about friendships?

Especially friendships that are forged since childhood.Friends who have been a significant part of each other's lives and have seen,shared and spent so much of their time together, making memories. Seen ups and downs,but still remain strong.

When those friends drift apart,what about that kind of pain?

And when you see them again after a long time ,you have that ache , longing and yearning again of the time long lost to the past. When you spend time with them again and see a new action that you aren't familiar with or when you see a change in their choice ,then you realize," Ah! I didn't knew that ,I don't know their likes and dislikes anymore.

There's so many feelings and so much to say ,but no words to join that bridge anymore..

Feng Xin and Xie Lian have known each other the longest and probably have also more shared memories of a fun childhood. Their interactions are also the most aching to see post-Xie lian's ascension. Unlike MQ whose best at hiding his feelings and saying the opposite of what he wants,FX is the kind of guy who wears his heart on his sleeves. He cannot and has never tried hiding his expression and how he feels in XL's presence. The sad kicked puppy look that we fans are amused to watch is all that amassed guilt,concern and repentance. His outright concern when XL returns injured,him defending XL when XL gets kidnapped and there's so many more moments that shows FX's feelings.FX staying in the mortal realm more then heaven is an indirect indication of his intentions.

After meeting with XL ,as Nan Feng he's definitely more comfortable in spending time with XL then as FX. There's one scene that actually pinched me was this.

It's ingrained in FX's nature to protect XL.And XL wouldn't have mind it at all ,but it's clear that when HC is around XL will lean on him rather then FX like in olden days.(ofcourse change is necessary,but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt). I don't remember it clearly because it's been a while since I read the novel,but I think they have mentioned FX's reaction when XL actually follows HC.

This scene from TGCF S2 perfectly fits the context ,so just imagining if post canon Fenglian have a talk and apologise to each other,I bet Feng Xin will be the first one to break down and cry, because XL has made peace with the way things are for a long time now ,it's only Feng Xin (and Mu Qing) in a way who couldn't let the past go.

There's an unfortunate factor about this pair.

Megatron is not a fan of organics.

He isn't anything like those Autobots.

Allying with humans as if they're so similar to a Cybertronian.

His concern is power.

I'd like to first note obvious thing...

Megatron and you have a large size difference in terms of height and build.

It takes a lot of time for Megatron to get used to an organic, let alone one so small.

Go on, look up his height.

He could crush you in his hand.

Megatron likes power and he sees humans as weak creatures.

He doesn't get how Optimus likes these things....

Not until much later when he keeps you around does he understand it in his own cruel way.

At first you're handed off to Starscream.

The usual torture for getting info out of you.

Once your throat is raw from screaming and crying, you're tossed into a cell for later use.

You're a... pitiful thing to him, really.

He almost feels bad... perhaps killing you would be merciful.

Then he sees you in the cell, on your knees and leaking from your eyes.

What's funnier? You beg to him.

You beg for the pain to stop, that you'll try to help him in anyway you can...

He doubts you can but that nature of yours fuels his ego.

If there's one thing humans can do, it's use their pathetic body to stroke your ego.

That's when Megatron begins to tolerate you.

He'll keep you just to show Autobots what humans can truly be used for.

Tricks and labor to please beings so much stronger than them.

Megatron's obsession is very slow acting.

He makes you do things for him no matter how degrading, just to please him.

The moment he does show something softer, you're too weak to acknowledge it at first.

For the most part Megatron uses you.

He feels if anything, organics can be used for his own gain.

You also happen to be a... cute one.

So easy to destroy... your life in his hands.

Safe to say most of his obsession is due to his ego.

He's sadistic and causing you pleasure and pain feeds into such desires.

Each time his red eyes look at you, dwarfing you in size alone, he sees you shake.

You're lucky he's only ever merciful towards you.

Megatron does not like others pointing out that he's enjoying an organic.

The large and feared Decepticon Lord Megatron? Holding such a small creature in his large hand?

Starscream comments on him and his new pet.

The smaller Decepticon nearly broke the ship wall with how hard he hit it, flung by his master like a toy.

Megatron never outright admits how you make him feel.

You flinch each time a metal flinger taps your head, knowing that alone could hurt you.

Megatron is struggling not to crush you.

You'd cause such a mess.

He'll never see you as an equal...

But he does feel an odd sense of care towards you.

Megatron keeps you in his ship, a large cell constructed for your enclosure.

He hides you from Autobots and Decepticons alike.

He likes to think you're his.

Megatron also likes to hear you worship and beg to him.

To see you grovel... pledging your loyalty all to him...

That's his favorite part.

Escape is nowhere near possible all on your own.

He's the leader of the Decepticons, if you fled his ship to Earth somehow he'll hunt you down.

Wherever you go, he will track and drag you back kicking and screaming.

He would hate to kill you-

But misbehave and you're on thin ice.

Megatron would have others killed for you.

Well... those he feels are a threat to you and him-

Autobots, humans, even other Decepticons will be executed if they even think of taking you.

Megatron doesn't mind keeping you on his shoulder as some sort of parrot if you don't mind the height.

Well... he tolerates it as you tend to chatter nervously to him.

He doesn't mind your voice....

Most of the time you're in your cell or in his hands.

To be an organic kept by Megatron is an odd sight.

Unfortunately you've grown on him and he plans to keep you...

No wonder those Autobots keep humans.

as for headcanons, here's a "few" i that i tend to come back to a lot! my interpretations of them are influenced from both the source material and other's fanworks, so i've linked to them as i saw fit! hcs in no particular order under the cut because oops this got long (900 word bullet point list, mentions of reload content up to 1/1)

minato's hair is dyed blue (hair originally brown, you can see it in his roots!) and he has a beauty mark on under his left eye. i like mirror imagery and there's definitely a few arts i've rb'd that portray them this way :) (e.g. this one by feliichu and this one by marasschino)

as far as i'm concerned the bathhouse scene from the manga where ryoji's hair down = similar shape to minato? that is canon to me. this art from xierru is a fun depiction of hair down ryoji :D

ryoji is homeless. everyone say thank you foxmulder_whereartthou for this awesome fic it's why i have the headcanon! but like seriously. we have no idea where ryoji lives and i could believe this.

minato dying at the end of the game is sad to an outsider's POV BUT!!! ryomina gets to be together in death for the rest of their lives (this illustration from mafuwara is a gorgeous representation of them as nyx avatar + the seal)!

speaking of the seal, they are like telepathically communicating to me in the great seal together. (mymp3 had a comic wip with this. give it a looksie :D)

ryoji likes cuddling with minato because he's warm :) (something something orpheus has fire affinity, minato is warm by extension and ryoji is cold because he's death)

ryoji's camera roll is filled with pictures of minato! ryoji... loves life, to me. and i feel that photography and journaling are perfect ways of expressing gratitude and capturing the moments in life that are most important to you :3

my other favorite activity for these two is stargazing- i feel like it's something they could appreciate either in life or death (looking at the stars from the great seal...)! they do a bit of this in the fic eurydice's vow by crescentmoontea (P5R spoilers, takes place in third sem it's a very fun fic concept).

between ryoji and minato i feel like ryoji was the one who fell in love first- and it doesn't really click in place for minato that he loves ryoji until december hits (appriser reveal + ryoji transforming into thanatos). its about the realization that ryoji was with him for his whole life and that he gets him like no one else does.

ryoji is like a sad and wet puppy who is so scared minato won't like him back. he is so scared of being rejected by minato to me like. this boy straight up deflates after he does his "i know i said i wanted us to be friends, but... i actually want to be something more." / "what about you?" on 12/1 ???

AND SPEAKING of wet puppy ryoji. ryoji is like. every animal in the world to me. he's a bird. he's a cat. etc. and also ryoji knows every language in the world ever and uses it to express his love for minato. see this fic from superheroics to see what i mean.

both of them are lactose intolerant. "this isn't lactose, it's milk!" i definitely think ryoji would make himself sick eating ice cream and milk he doesn't know what lactose is. (i made a silly poll about this once and the tags were very entertaining.)

i see minato as transmasc or nonbinary depending on the day (schrodinger's headcanons babey they're simultaneously true and not true at the same time!!). either way he's not cis to me and ryoji is like. His Gender. anyway go read this fic by nail_gun for t4t ryomina :D !

ryomina are WEIRD GUYS TO ME!!! they are so strange and they understand each other better than anyone else because of the circumstances of their relationship!!! if you asked them to do the "i wonder what i taste like" meme i think they'd start biting each other (affectionate) tbh but that's just me.

after ryoji gives minato the music box in 12/31 on reload, minato listens to the music box every night in january. this boy has insomnia and also chronic illness to me (things that housing death does to you). but i think he finds comfort in the melody and memories he made with ryoji.

in general, i think it's fun to imagine minato taking ryoji to places and show him things he's interested in! i feel that ryoji takes a lot of interest in minato's life, this isn't really a hc because in reload, minato DOES give ryoji a tour of the school (11/9) and possibly port island (11/12). but ITS CUTE OK! (tangentially related fanwork: this series of doodles from vinnigami: 1, 2, and 3)

not a hc but minato's kindness is like the backbone of their relationship and i think we would not have the ryomina we know and love today if minato wasn't such a kind soul. oh minato.... we can learn so much from you... like ryoji did!

rust — 11. Bode Leone ~ [Winter Prompts]

A/N: My newer pieces for bode don’t get as much attention so I’m writing this quickly in the sense of HC (notes I guess? my form!) s/o to the snow storm for giving me the motivation to write this 🩵

WARNINGS: childhood fears, freak accidents, and slight language?

Here is where you should have listened to your instincts and not have let your guard down.

Being back at these slopes was a triggering manner and everyone would have understood if you backed out but you didn’t want to break tradition.

You lost your (adopted) older sibling up on these slopes that the both of you snuck into during a brewing storm.

It wasn’t your idea and you were reluctant but your sibling—who was always the daredevil—convinced you that they knew these slopes well (they were dating the kid of the owner) and always did this once the colder weather came in.

They were so sure that everything would be fun and fine, despite the fact that a storm was coming in.

You told them they should have called their friends to hang out with instead, since you were not the biggest fan of snow and wasn’t the most athletic like your sibling but they chose spending their quality time with you that evening.

They were a senior, you were a sophomore and what was supposed to be, just kids being kids ultimately led to your siblings’ tragic passing.

It didn’t bother you as much until you all pulled up to the slopes and you got a good look at it. That’s when yours knees started to buckle, stomach cramped, palms sweaty beneath your thick gloves, and your chest felt tight.

“Hey, you okay?” Bode questions after his mom nudged her head in your direction, you were slowly pacing from the opposite side of the car, doing breathing exercises while the Leone family carried a conversation.

A humorless laugh slipped through your lips, “Never better, can’t you tell?”

Although you attempted to model out your all white fit in a funny manner, Bode saw right through it as he watched your elbow shake while you had your hand on your hip, with a weak pose.

He immediately grips your forearms, “You know there’s no pressure right? We’re just here to have fun and we’ll take it easy but if it’s too much…you let me know and we can get into something more chill instead.”

You simply smile, knowing this was a repeat of last night’s conversation as you lay in bed together, with Bode trying to see where your head was at. There was no way you were going to be the only party pooper and stay back at the cabin…alone.

Especially since you and Mrs. Sharon forced everyone to watch The Bodyguard last night and that scene with Niki always gave you nightmares.

You were sensitive to things like that, which is why you could never go into the medical field, although there was a time where you wanted to major in it—it ultimately did not work out in the case of your mental.

Snow tubing became more of your snow activity as you found the courage to take pictures with your new camera (that Bode surprised you with on Christmas! You hated that he spent this kind of money on you when he was just building his income back but he didn’t want to hear your concerns, he just wanted to see you smile) of Eve and Jake on their snowboards on the opposite route before you scrambled to stabilize yourself on the slope as it got bumpy towards the middle.

Everyone took turns keeping you company on the tubes but ofc the real action was with the skis and snowboards. Something you once liked participating in although you weren’t the best, you once enjoyed the freeing feeling of being on those slopes.

After browsing the photos you managed to get of Mrs. And Mr. Leone, Eve, Jake, and Bode, just examining their faces through the pictures reminded you of the feeling the slopes used to bring back when you were a child and back when your sibling was still alive.

That photo of the both of you cheesing at the end of the slopes, arms tossed over each others shoulders, that your adopted father snapped of you still sat in the entry way of your family’s home. They only came out to the slopes once a year to honor your sibling but it was no longer a place where they spent the winter anymore either.

��Wait up, I’m coming this time.” You say as the remaining faces turn to you at the lift.

Sharon and Vince were already up on the lift unaware of this decision, while Eve and Jake shared a glance and Bode waved them on to go ahead.

He waited for you as you locked up your camera and he was patient as he helped you into your skis. Exhaling your eyes meet the lift where a few were waiting in line for the next.

“Are you sure?”

“I have to,” you state meeting Bode’s sparkling eyes, “Not just for them but for me too. I can’t keep living in fear over what was lost.”

Bode gives you a slow grin, “There’s my girl. And you know I’m right there with you…if you need me that is.”

“Of course I do. I wouldn’t want anybody else beside me.”

Bode smirks, “Aw.”

“Shut up and help me.” You roll your eyes as Bode gently squeezes the back of your neck, “I haven’t been on these in ages.”

Bode laughs a little as he takes your hand, “Yes, ma’am.”

And just like that you’re above the slopes together, with you squeezing the life out of Bode’s knee but he squeezes yours back, timing it all for when it was time to let go.

In more ways than one.

Once you regain your balance on the snow, which you had to do pretty fast, you’re gliding down the slopes and although Bode can definitely pass you like you know he’s itching to, he keeps pace with you just like he promised.

It’s when there’s tears in your eyes and a carefree laugh that escapes your lips, that you realize that you found your courage again.

Bode loves to see it, encouraging you and relishing in the joy that’s on your face. It’s happy tears although you still miss your sibling, terribly, you knew this was something they always loved to do. Their bucket list was to conquer all the winter sports and you honestly believed that one day they truly would.

That joy becomes short lived as you bring your glance back over to your boyfriend, watching in horror as he stumbles over a uneven terrain, his attempts to recover from that don’t go unnoticed as he soon slips over some undercover patch of ice that sends him failing around, unable to keep his balance.

The first roll and impact, you can hear something crunch along with a crack and it isn’t the skiis. Bode keeps on tumbling and you can feel your heart struggling to beat.

Your screams are as loud as ever, catching other skiers attention and drawing the attention of his parents and your shared friends at the bottom of slope.

You’re spooked for a few seconds but bring yourself out of it as other skiers race to help.

“Bode!” You’re on your knees as you scoop his head into your arms, reminiscent to when you held your sibling’s broken body in your lap as the blizzard planned to bury you both.

He’s sweating after he tossed his insulated face mask to the side in an angry manner but he puts on a grimace of a smile as he takes in your tear stained face, “I’m alright. I—

“Don’t you dare say you promise to me right now!”

Emergency services manage to arrive about a minute later before the rest show up to strap bode in before assessing his injury.

Let’s just say the amount of blood and bone was not for the weak!

“Don’t go blamin’ yourself alright,” Jake says to you as you all stood at the car, “Bode’s strong and he wanted to be there with you when you were ready.”

Jake tried to provide you comfort before climbing into the driver’s seat but it was as if he hadn’t spoken.

Vince is in the passenger side, stressed but received the look Jake sent him, knowing that he would have to step in once you all arrived to the hospital.

The drive was certainly quiet enough compared to the initial ride up here and Eve was just happy enough to gain some feeling back in her hand once you let go.

Sharon didn’t even give the option to let you ride with Bode, which was another reason why you felt like it was your fault but she’s immediately apologetic once she gets a good look at you in the waiting room, embracing you and also taking Bode’s words into account on the ambulance ride.

“Mom, I don’t want her taking everything to heart. She’s just as scared as you, maybe even more and we got to make that right.”

Sharon’s never seen Bode love as hard as he did when he’s with you and the glint in his eye and the reassurance he had more for you than himself said enough.

“I could have responded better back there, gave the option on who should have rode with Bode here.”

You’re understanding, already knowing what the Leone family lost before as well.

“I’ll never hold that against you,” you say in Sharon’s arms, “It was probably best anyway…considering I almost upchucked as soon as the ambulance doors closed.”

“Oh yeah,” Sharon nods, “Still don’t have the best stomach huh?”

“Not in the slightest but I don’t know if I would have been able to keep it together enough for Bode so…no hard feelings.”

“Of course not, honey!”

Then you’re all in the hospital room where they’re just keeping Bode comfortable after running some tests and x-rays until the next orthopedic surgeon is available.

“Damn, Bode! I never thought I’d see the day where you would look like shit, dude.” Eve comments, earning a nudge from Jake and a glare from Sharon while Vince just shakes his head.

Bode scoffs, “Yeah, thanks Eve. Love you too.”

You’re right beside him but you won’t touch him, afraid that you’ll make it worse. Your eyes are lingering over his bandaged and covered leg and you can’t get the image out of your head.

“Hey, I’m going to be fine.”

“You don’t know that yet.” You whisper, “you’re all clammy and probably running a fever. Which I feel like…isn’t good sign.”

“That’s just my body trying to recover.” Bode shrugs although Sharon and Vince both share that knowing parent glance.

Vince leaves the room while Sharon tries not to interfere.

Bode can see that you’re not convinced and holds out a hand, “Holding your hand always makes me feel better, though.”

You scoff, “Uh uh, I’m keeping my hands to myself.”

“Please.”

At least he wasn’t too proud to beg!

You sigh, quickly slipping your hand into Bode’s clammy yet warm hand.

He gives your hand a squeeze and lets out a sigh himself as he shifts slightly uncomfortable on the bed before croaking out, “Ah, that’s better!”

Shaking your head at him, you can’t help but to brush his now curling hair back and press a quick kiss to his forehead.

It’s not long after that, the doctor comes back into the room with Mr. Leone right behind him.

He shows the x-rays up on the wall, informing that Bode experienced an open fracture and he’s definitely at risk for infection, which doesn’t settle the feeling in your chest or stomach. It’s determined that he’ll need surgery and you don’t hesitate to let them know that Bode doesn’t look the best, that he feels feverish.

The doctor takes his temperature again and checks his notes to see that his temperature has increased significantly since he got here, which never feels like a good sign.

It’s when he checks on the fracture that you all see that there’s significant swelling and it’s warm to the doctor’s touch. Immediately he’s calling on the nurses and once they arrive he tells them surgery cannot wait another hour or more. He wants to take care of it right away.

The nurses are quick at prepping and the doctor is talking in hushed tones outside the room with Sharon and Vince.

“Why don’t you take a picture?” Bode suggests now with a cap covering his hair.

Eve shakes her head and mutters to the friends, “Yeah man’s lost his mind for sure.”

Jake shrugs his shoulders, knowing what Bode is getting at as your eyes are wide with fear again.

“Are you insane?” You hiss at the foot of his bed now as the nurses work, “Sorry… it’s probably the fever rotting your brain.”

“Ouch.” Jake laughs as he stands beside you, already holding your camera for you.

Bode echoes a laugh, “I’ll take your snark anyday, baby. I mean a picture before I get rolled away into surgery is a badass story I’d love to tell our kids one day…Plus I’ll look much more cooler now than when I’m in a stupid cast.”

Your breathing hitches before you feel your own body fill with warmth. Although you and Bode took forever to get here, being an official couple, and you’ve known each other since you were kids yourselves…this was the first time kids were brought up in your relationship.

You decide with a warning in your eyes, “…Fine but just one.”

“That’s all I need,” Bode jokes while Eve groans and you match her annoyance with a roll of your eyes.

With shaky hands you take the camera from Jake. He gives your shoulders a squeeze before stepping out of the way to give you space.

Bringing the lens up to your eye, you close the other one, zooming into one focal view. Bode looks pale, forehead glimmering with sweat, body slumped, yet there’s crinkles by the corner of his sparkling eyes. He’s smiling but it’s mostly for you and it’s not a wide one by any means but it’s enough as he folds his bulging arms, showing he still has fight in him.

He was right, one picture is all that you needed.

And you find yourself staring at it for a long time while you all wait for him to get out of surgery.

It’s the hope of your lingering shared kiss in the hallway that keeps you going.

“I love you and I’ll see you when you get out. Don’t be diffcult in there.”

“Who me?” Bode smiles against your clasped hands that he brought up to his lips, “Never. I love you too, baby.”

“Until rust?”

“Until we rust.” He recites followed with a wink, giving your hand one last squeeze as you step out of the way, waving at him and hugging yourself as you watch Bode keep his eyes on you until he can’t.

Vince is the one who takes the role of steering you to follow the rest back to the waiting room.

You secretly vowed to never do this shit again but you knew the longer you stared at the photo you took of Bode and ended up showing to Vince and Sharon (Vince got a good chuckle out of this while Sharon scoffed and scolded the boy through the camera but still found herself grinning) and once Bode was well enough to fight fires again, he would be trying his damn hardest to come up with a skiing competition just between you two.

That brings a crooked smile to your face as you slouch in the chair, leg crossed over the other and you toss your head back to stare up at the ceiling.

Waiting…

How do you feel about Candy as a Character vs. The character you made? I’m honestly just interested in the character you have for Candy and her relationship with Nikki

HI THANK YOU FOR THE ASK, V GOOD ASK I'M HAPPY TO AWNSER

My version of Candy isn't actually supposed to contradict what we know of her already, more so really really build-off-from and completely take and run with what little we were given about her.

I'm fine with anyone's HCs I believe everyone should have fun and it doesn't have to match cannon! but in the same note if we're talkin' character analysis and not HCs they often don't even target what she did wrong and just go "whore." And. Uh. Yeah never been a fan of that.. Not a fan of how she was supposed to be a "golddigger joke" or something in the show either but ehh.

She's not a bad mother because she was on her phone or because she wears tank tops or because she has sex or anything else I've heard while being in this fandom dear GOD SKSKNDJN but this post will literally be 3x longer if I get into my takes on that so it's a different post if y'all want it one day.

Candy didn't remember something important, something traumatizing for Nikki and that's where her flaws lay. Their communication is lackluster. I think it makes her a flawed parent and a flawed person but it doesn't mean "she's scum of the earth condemn this woman to hell immediately," she still loves Nikki and shows she does in the same episode she tells her not to karate chop strangers and get them sued so she doesn't just let her do whatever. She refers to her as "my angel" and Nikki looks up at her when everyone is eating with this smile and they LOVE each other and raaahhh I love the sillies so much.... Cryinhng..

I've mentioned in my post about Neil's mother how I believe that the egg episode they're mirroring their own parents and Nikki being so worried about fucking up her egg and not knowing what to do and being unprepared and scared. I HC Candy had Nikki when she was like 20-21 and recently kicked out by her own mother and she had no support or knowledge of what to do or how to care for a baby and it was SO much trial and error but it bleeds into my HC about Nikki where she has all these big thoughts and emotions but gets regarded as simple minded by her peers because she can't find a way to express them verbally and comes off simple minded or stupid. This doesn't stop her from feeling complicated things it just stops her from being understood.

((literally the whole Christmas episode is her going "I love this thing so dang much!!! I can't tell you why though. I'll know it when I see it.?))

So when you have a unprepared parent who's working by trial and error and you can't verbalize to them the errors or make sense of your feelings that's where issues come in!!

Minor New episode spoilers: Nikki can't write eligibly when she writes letters to her mother. I think is some great potential to be visual storytelling about this if I ever could make a fic. Her handwriting is bad. She gets excited and doodles and scribbles. You can't make out what she's saying. Maybe her mother never even got to know about what happened in the flower scouts because she said it over letter.

Candy still sent her there and lied about it being adventure camp and I hc it was done not because she wants to force feminity on Nikki or anything (if that's the case Nikki would be dead like literally 💀 she needs dirt to live) but because she wanted her to make friends and since she had such a good time as some version of a scout herself she thought Nikki would too. She loves Nikki and supports her wolf-kinning and playing in the mud but of course is concerned she's estranging herself from other people by barking and biting them and sending her out into the woods she would've just continued to ignore people in favor of animals. Candy had a "it'll be good for her!" Type rationalization about lying.

Then next summer she wanted to make her happy and followed through with going to adventure camp for realsies and was scatterbrained about it and misremembered the previous year's sign up for that one.

A misunderstanding didn't hurt Nikki any less. You can have all the good intentions in the world and still screw up and accidentally hurt somebody you care about.

Personally I love depicting Candy as being really really affectionate with Nikki and she calls her not only "my angel" but variations of "baby/sweetie/hunny" and the biggest nickname she has for her is probably "sunshine"

Candy also can't cook lol she tries but it's the only thing in the world Nikki won't eat is her mom's cooking so Candy buys them TV dinners and premade stuff alot. They have "barbeque nights" where Candy brings home ribs and they watch TV together and live in this lil trailer home near a forest. (In the first trailer for camp camp we see Nikki using a slingshot on cans with flowers painted on them and I'm like yeah her back yard just goes directly into the woods I know it does)

I actually HC Candy's off and off boyfriend/husband Andrew is the one who'd force gender roles on Nikki if at all. Guy who jokes about "hookers and blow" ((Infront of his 9-10yo daughter)) with his friends yk that guy.

Also I wanna mention Candy isn't even her actual name she got it during her time in the adult film industry (🌽) and it's actually Caroline. She doesn't really introduce herself as that anymore. Sex work in general is often an abusive industry and highly exploitive so she's got some baggage from her time there and falls in and out of being a stripper aswell and struggles to hold down a job that can support her and her daughter and it's part of multiple reasons why she keeps going back to her ex husband bc he's well-off. ((Cannonicaly bought her a car and lawyers))

She didn't even know for sure if Andrew was the father, some AUs I have he turned out to be the father in some he didn't, but she chose to tell him because he could give her daughter the best chance in life and support her education and allthat.

-He likes being active and working with his hands. It helps him relax and deal with stress.

-he gets a lot of fan mail and artwork so he makes a lot of shelves to display it around his house.

-He fixes old furniture and donates it to people who have lost their homes or belongings in natural disasters and villain attacks

-he often repairs the dorms and the furniture in them, since things often are broken through quirk related incidents.

-he hosts a few after school clubs at UA such as the craft club and garden club.

-he has a reputation for being unusually strict around things like littering and recycling.

-he helps Izuku mend the costume his mom made him after the battle trials.

-allmight has trouble being on time for anything. He was late most of his time at UA, and he’s often late to interviews and meetings. It gave him some trouble at the start of his hero career and it’s something he’s infamous for.

Then, we see how the whole hospital starts to make fun of Mitch and even Sienna seems to think he deserves the treatment he is getting for being lazy, not taking his work or the patients seriously, and taking advantage of her good nature. Afterwards, we find out that Mitch left Edenbrook because of the bullying he was receiving and we see that Sienna feels bad about it.

This storyline always makes me feel conflicted. I think that there’s an option where MC can say that this isn’t high school or something and no one should be bullied and Sienna gets upset to see MC standing up for Mitch. I may be wrong about this since it’s been a while since the last time I replayed these chapters.

I know Mitch totally deserved to be called out and part of Sienna’s arc is to learn how to stand up for herself before it gets to the point where she cannot longer control her emotions. It happened with Wayne in book 1 and again with Mitch in book 2. Different types of relationship with each, but both were mistreating her for an extended period of time. But I’ll say that it was surprising to see a character that is as kind as Sienna be vindictive for a hot minute. What do you think about this? Does it align with your version of her?

Overall, it made little sense that the interns in second year performed so poorly. In book 1, everyone was a stellar intern and had to deal with complex cases alone. Sienna had to tell patients that they were terminal on her intern year. MC and Jackie used the defibrillator on a patient on their first day and were successful. We were told Edenbrook only accepted the best of the best only to have such lackluster interns on the second book 😐 I understand it was some kind of new program, but it bothered me regardless haha

Hello, Fellow Sienna Fan!

I have so many Sienna stories that I want to write. She's practically my second MC. But, the fandom is so dead now that I wonder, who even cares about those fics.

Writing about her relationship with Mitch is definitely on the list -- all the things we don't see in canon. While I haven't written a fic about it before, I included Sienna's thoughts and feelings about the situation in my original Maxenna series in Part 2 and end of Part 3.

Sienna was conflicted about what happened with Mitch. She put up with a lot because she genuinely thought she was helping him. After everything that happened with Cassie and Danny, she lost her patience with his laziness, but more than that, she found her voice.

While Cassie didn't agree with the bullying, she supported Sienna in public but let her know how she felt in private. Sienna knew she'd gone far too, but all the anger she felt, the helplessness during the poison attack, came out. I don't think it was vindictiveness from Sienna at all; rather her eyes finally opened to what was happening around her. Life was too short to put up with someone who didn't respect medicine or was willing to learn.

In my hc, it was almost 7 or 8 months into residency when the showdown with Mitch happened. (I believe the timeline in canon is likely close to that). Sienna always felt guilty about him leaving because she knew the bullying was her fault. She also felt that he didn't take his job seriously.

We know from canon that Mitch felt inadequate and covered it up with his attitude. But he didn't make that confession until after. So, as far as Sienna was concerned, he was not serious about being a doctor.

One of the lessons from each book is that medicine is hard, it's not predictable and requires fortitude to survive in that career. In book 1, all of the interns faced hard choices. In book 3, it's about adversity from within and without, and learning to compromise so that you don't lose right of the big picture.

In book 2, the residents become mentors to the next crop of interns and it's time to step up and lead. It's not that the interns were bad; the lesson we were expected to take, I believe, is that doctors are only as good as those who train them. Harper Emery tells Aurora the same thing. MC is good because they learned from Ethan Ramsey. And yet, despite everything, mistakes happen because medicine is uncertain.

So his original plan was just to, eating nd going around with doyoung, chatting....etc......but the company made it more like a veriety show interview where they could bring guest nd ask abt their upcoming activities!!! What haechan wanted was a relaxation, just enjoying the eating with doyoung's company, he picked doyoung coz of their reaction over foods so ppl won't get really bored just see them eating... Nd yes if it is harchan nd doyoung ofcrs they fight nd it is kinda fun to watch... But now it become more serious job, like its ok if the guests are from nct, or the person they already known.... But the guests coming from outside of the bubble makes it more visible.. The epi with minhyung, like they did well but the awkwardness was visible, minhyung was not shy seeing strangers for the first time was a plus point in that episode... I'm not criticizing, it is a great opportunity for them to make new frnds nd also a new path... Since 127 is going on a hiatus.... Nd ofcrs doyoung nd haechan were enjoying it and also doing a good job this far... But I'm just wondering how would it be it for just 2 of em to go on a show... Haechan and Doyoung eat out together a lot as it is. More like, Haechan wants a programme for himself. In the past he pitched the idea about Haechan's radio, that one lasted for some time.

Mokchu is low budget. There are only 2-3 staff members at the location, maybe, plus editors at SM. To attract non k-pop fans or non-NCT fans a restaurant-review show should have a better camerawork (i.e. cameramen at the shooting location), lighting, sound. Just look at Heechul's drinking show Do attended. There were like 10-12 staff members on the side, sitting in two rows. There is a big competition as there are many mukbaeng shows.

Therefore, I get why SM turned it into a more common format (hosts+guests). 2Dongs can shoot episodes with only two of them anytime later, as specials. I'm more concerned about another member replacing Haechan and later Doyoung. That will be a bigger deviation from the original plan, even more like work instead of doing something the two enjoy.

Fans tend to watch mostly content with their faves. And not all of them do. Even such a popular member like Taeyong gets 200-300k views for his TY vlogs. (Although I do believe that YT doesn't count many views, maybe from those who use adblocks). Therefore, I think 2Dongs show would have been watched only by their fans.

This show is a good practice though. The episode with Minhyung showed that both 2Dongs are not very good with dealing with new to them people in a situation without a prepared script, where they can rely on a professional role and don't need to decide how they should act (be more polite/be more friendly). Haechan can't even be his cheeky self (which he plays easily on variety shows). And Doyoung can't be MC easily (because their show doesn't have a structure, rules to follow, yet).

❀ the jade screen that she can summon works very well for soundproofing. standing behind one can muffle the noise on the other side so if you were completely surrounded? total silence. sometimes the stress of ningguang’s work can get to her and she just needs a moment of silence alone, but she doesn’t just use it for herself

❀ whenever you’re feeling awful or ningguang thinks you need to relax she’ll summon those screens right away, gently asking if everything’s ok

❀ the screens are rather thin to the point of having easy access to go through and to see on the other side, but with just a bit of tweaking and alterations, ningguang makes the walls surrounding you thick and non-clear to give you privacy

❀ if you wanted to be left alone she makes sure to make some sort of door before leaving so that you can get out once you’re feeling better. make sure to go find her when you’re out, she’s prepared you a nice cup of tea :)
