Why do I use Terracycle for recycling some items? To try and make a difference.
Being the end of an interesting year, and coming up on what appears to be another interesting year, Im going to tell you about Terracycle. They recycle practically everything, and as you’ve come to notice, trash is big business. I’d even say that we need trash men and people to handle trash more than we need brain surgeons or rocket scientists, because we’re all drowning in our own trash and waste. Recycling in my area is non-existent, but I do what I can.
I can’t change the world. I can’t change our government, but I can do this small thing with the hope it makes some difference in the world.
I currently have Terracycle boxes for bottle caps, candy and snack wrappers, pet food containers and packaging, and shipping waste. I need to get another container for alkaline batteries. Just waiting for another good sale.
Right now, I’m returning a filled Small: 11"x11"x20” Terracycle Zero Waste Box for Candy and Snack Wrappers. I bought it for $85.50. It took 13 months to fill it.
(11/19/2023 – 12/29/2024. I write the dates on the boxes.)
That works out to $6.576 per month. The last one I just bought was $73.50. I’ll start filling that one. If it takes 13 months to fill, that’ll be $5.65 a month.
I could cram more stuff in there over the next few weeks, but I figured I’d send it in.
Currently, the price for that particular box, size small, is $105 ÷ 13 = $8.076 per month. If it takes me longer to fill it, that means the cost is even less per month.
Yes, the boxes do seem to be quite expensive, even when you break it down to how much it might cost per month. Why are they so expensive? They are shipped to you, and when you fill them, you ship them back for free. It’s not really free, because you paid for it, but there is no additional charge. Once the box is received, they sort through them, and people have to be paid for their work. For now.
Meanwhile, I do try to use less plastic. It’s not easy. I recycle as much as I can of other items, and haul them 30 miles to the nearest recycling center. Not that I actually trust the company running the place, but it’s all we’ve got here. I take metal and aluminum cans 10 miles in the other direction to recycle those. It’s the best I can do for now.
Give Terracycle a look. They have many free programs as well as their Zero Waste boxes. They also make stuff from the plastic they recycle.

When it comes to transporting valuable equipment, whether it’s musical instruments, camera gear, or high-tech equipment, the right flight case is crucial for ensuring its safety. A flight case, or road case, is designed to protect fragile equipment during travel with reinforced materials and cushioning. However, many individuals and businesses are tempted to opt for cheaper flight cases, drawn by the lower price tags. While this may seem like an affordable option, is it truly worth it? Let’s examine the risks and advantages of choosing a cheap flight case compared to a high-quality, reliable one.
What is a Flight Case?
A flight case is a protective case used to transport delicate and expensive equipment. It’s typically constructed from strong materials such as plywood, aluminum, or plastic, with foam padding inside to cushion and secure the contents. These cases are commonly used by musicians, photographers, technicians, and anyone who frequently travels with valuable equipment that needs protection from bumps, drops, and other hazards during transit.
The Allure of Cheap Flight Cases
The attraction of cheap flight cases is clear. They are marketed as affordable solutions for protecting your equipment while offering basic features like padded interiors and secure closures. In India, for instance, a high-quality flight case can range from ₹7,000 to ₹30,000, depending on the size and level of protection required. On the other hand, budget-friendly flight cases can cost anywhere from ₹2,500 to ₹7,000, making them an appealing option for those on a tight budget.
For someone who is just starting out with gear transport or needs a case for occasional use, the idea of a cheaper option might seem like a no-brainer. After all, why spend more when a less expensive case promises similar protection at a fraction of the cost?

Clothing & Wearing Magic – Part 2
Part 1: Location.
Part 2: Materials
Just as it is emphasized that wood, an amethyst, salt, and sugar have different spiritual properties due to their physical and chemical capabilities, clothing and accessories can also have different properties based on the material they are made of.
In this post I previously talked about metals, so I won't go into details, other than remembering that a silver ring and an aluminum ring have different properties to take into account. So everything that is jewelry is included there. But it also includes belt buckles, metal buttons on jeans, zippers on clothes, and everything that is metallic. If metal exists, it can be enchanted based on its specific properties.
Materials:
Tumblr media
All the plant-based materials, like yarn, hemp, cotton, bamboo, jute, linen and their derivations, are a pure Earth element, are part of a plant that grows from the ground, fed by the Sun. That alone brings the properties of both elements and will be beneficed by spells related to both, like protection. The most commons to find in a normal cloth are cotton and linen.
Cotton: Is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll and is covered with thorns. The white color of the fiber gives its characteristic association of cleanliness and purity, just as the ability to retain vibrations, help protect from negative energies (the thorns add more aggression to it) and is known for represent simplicity and harvest. It also has properties as being static electricity resistant, absorbs water and “breathes”, can withstand heat, detergents, and bleach, so naturally act like a barrier.
Linen: Is made from the fibers of a plant, but in this case, from the “inner bark” and since is hard to make, it is also more expensive, that’s why is related to elegance, luxury and sophistication. Used by members of high class, usually priests, got the idea of be linked to the righteousness and purity, and the common use to sheets, made it corresponded to the rest. It is the second strongest fabric after the silk and also static electricity resistant.
Tumblr media
Wool, leather and silk, on the other hand, come from animal sources, which also add the Fire component to the equation, adding the life force and energy of said element.
Wool: A textile fiber obtained from sheep and other mammals, especially goats, rabbits, and camelids, with the characteristic to be insulating, temperature regulating, mold resistant and flame resistant. Since the wool grow back each season is linked to the hope and renewal, durability, comfort and warmth. Each type of wools can also bring the energy and characteristics of the specific animal to which come from, so can be useful to focus in these features at the moment to enchant it.
Leather: At difference of the wool, the leather doesn’t grow back, is the result of the death of the animal, which brings even more Fire element to the equation, just as the instinct and strength of the animal to which come from. Can be completely waterproof and hard to burn, which bring extra protection.
Silk: Is the strongest natural textile in the world, a natural protein fiber, composed mainly of fibroin and is produced by certain insect larvae to form cocoons. The process is time-consuming and delicate, which explains the high cost of this fabric but also brings the correspondence of being a symbol of wealth, luxury and prestige. In certain lighting conditions, silk produces a shimmering optical effect, which is due to the triangular prism-like structure of silk fibers. These prisms reflect light at various angles, which results in the subtle rainbow hue that has made silk so famous, which add the capacity of the transformation and magical insulation.
Tumblr media
Within the synthetic fibers you can find lycra, polyamide, neoprene, polyester, and many other mixtures of synthetic origin, most of which are derivatives of plastic. Despite the fact that it is an “artificial” product and that the environmental effects it produces are devastating, its origins remain natural in some way. But rather than focusing on where it comes from, in this case it is useful to ask the physical abilities when giving it an occult correspondence. It is waterproof and can completely nullify electricity (that ability to be completely null could be an excellent shield against magical energies, since it doesn't react at all), it can be molded into any shape (perfect for transformation spells), it doesn't oxidizes and can last thousands of years (long-term resistance). It may be the least interesting, but a good witch sees opportunity in even such a thing.
Tumblr media
In some clothes, especially excellent level jackets, we can also find an insulating feather padding, which is a primordial Air element, associated with freedom, escape, spirituality, wisdom, power, strength, trust, honor, lightness, dryness, the heavens, height, and speed.
Tumblr media
Some garments may also have wooden buttons, a powerful Earth element from which any witch can deduce its properties.
Knowing now what material a garment is made of, this knowledge can be used when potentiating enchantments, and even more if the color of said item is taken into account.
Part 3: Designs and Colors.

thivvy what's your opinions on nespresso coffee?
i will start by saying nestle is a fundamentally evil company and i try to boycott them however i can. yes, no ethical consumption under capitalism etc, but i think nestles practices are bad enough to justify trying to avoid them.
now let's separate the art from the artist:
ALL coffee pod systems carry with them the problem of sustainability. each cup you make with them generates plastic or aluminum waste from the pods. this doesn't sit right with me personally.
the machines themselves are expensive. and per cup coffee pods are more expensive than beans or grounds.
the coffee itself is bad! super stale dark roast. why pay more money for worse coffee? convenience??? you can diy pods with your own coffee inside but then why? you give up the convenience and you just end up with a keurig that thinks its an espresso machine. and its not even good espresso.
real espresso has around a 1:2 real of grounds input to coffee output. usually 20g in 40g espresso out. nespresso pods have like 4-10g of coffee but output a similar amount of liquid. nespresso is watery and weak like my cum after i started taking estrogen but i think my cum probably has better taste and more caffeine than those beans.
depending on what you want theres a lot of better choices whether you want convenience, espresso, or just coffee. also nestle is ontologically evil dont buy from them on purpose

This is a Tesla model Y battery. It takes up all of the space under the passenger compartment of the car.
To manufacture it you need:
--12 tons of rock for Lithium (can also be extracted from sea water)
-- 5 tons of cobalt minerals (Most cobalt is made as a byproduct of the processing of copper and nickel ores. It is the most difficult material to obtain for a battery and the most expensive.)
-- 3 tons nickel ore
-- 12 tons of copper ore
You must move 250 tons of soil to obtain:
-- 26.5 pounds of Lithium
-- 30 pounds of nickel
-- 48.5 pounds of manganese
-- 15 pounds of cobalt
To manufacture the battery also requires:
-- 441 pounds of aluminum, steel and/or plastic
-- 112 pounds of graphite
The Caterpillar 994A is used for the earth-moving to obtain the essential minerals. It consumes 264 gallons of diesel in 12 hours.
Finally you get a “zero emissions” car.
Presently, the bulk of the necessary minerals for manufacturing the batteries come from China or Africa. Much of the labor for getting the minerals in Africa is done by children! If we buy electric cars, it's China who profits most!
BTW, this 2021 Tesla Model Y OEM battery (the cheapest Tesla battery) is currently for sale on the Internet for $4,999 not including shipping or installation. The battery weighs 1,000 pounds (you can imagine the shipping cost). The cost of Tesla batteries is:
Model 3 -- $14,000+ (Car MSRP $38,990)
Model Y -- $5,000–$5,500 (Car MSRP $47,740)
Model S -- $13,000–$20,000 (Car MSRP $74,990)
Model X -- $13,000+ (Car MSRP $79,990)
It takes SEVEN years for an electric car to reach net-zero CO2. The life expectancy of the batteries is 10 years (average). Only in the last three years do you begin to reduce your carbon footprint. Then the batteries have to be replaced and you lose all the gains you made in those three years.
.
Tell me again, why THIS approach is supposed to be better for the ecosystem? It's amazing how the facts just don't measure up to ignorance and stupidity...

How A Ladder Can Make Your Work Easier
A ladder is a set of rungs or steps. There are two variants of the ladder: rigid ladders which are self-supporting and that may be leaned against a vertical surface such as a wall, and aluminum which may be hung from the top. Rigid ladders are generally moveable, but some types are permanently fixed to a building. They are usually made up of metal, wood, and fiberglass, but they have been known to be made of tough plastic.
Ladders are the most wanted love of every housewife. Either it is to clean spider houses or to make your child like a monkey. Every housewife loves it. And for men, it plays the role of lifesaver to climb it and find their long-lost files. The ladder plays a very crucial role in every house. Not just only in the houses but also in shops too. Ladders have all the capacity to make you go from zero to hero.
Tumblr media
Aluminum Ladders
Aluminum is the most well-liked choice for ladders used in households because the leading features of aluminium ladders are that they have a high strength-to-weight ratio which makes an aluminum model easy to transport and store as well as less expensive to produce than ladders which made from other materials. Aluminum products, such as ladders, may weigh up as much as 50% less.
Folding Ladders
A folding ladder is a ladder that is in the form of the step ladder style with one or more but generally not more than three that’s one-way hinges. For this ladder, Storage is not a problem as it is packed together once folded and be able to be easily stowed away. You can use this on rough surfaces such as a flight of stairs. As this type of ladder is lightweight, this is extremely moveable and suitable to use.
Telescopic Ladder
Telescoping ladders are a more versatile, moveable, and convenient form of the traditional ladder. As opposed to a typical adjustable ladder and extension ladder, this ladder used patented technology to extend and lock by the foot to a user's desired height, making them enormously versatile. This is convenient to store which is due to their compact nature. This is less vulnerable to the elements which are partially due to storage, and partially due to their makeup. This is lightweight because of that it is easily carried and transported. This is highly versatile which is appropriate for several jobs. This has high safety standards which are due to the sturdy build.
Multipurpose ladder
Multipurpose ladders are versatile and can be used for any purpose. It can be changeable and adjustable into a variety of positions according to how users want to use it. Users can use them as a step ladder, low platform, workbench, and an extension ladder with standoff (L-shaped bend), and that’s all in one single ladder which is an easily stored package. We can use it as the single solution for all our ladder requirements as it is very easily adjustable to any type of ladder. It is cost-effective as it eliminates the need to buy a variety of ladders for different purposes. It reduces space requirements for storage as you can buy only a single ladder and as well as you can fold multi-purpose ladders, make them compact and convenient to move at the same time.
The most common household ladders that are used for home purposes are step-ladders in which aluminum ladders are very strong and that’s why the most preferred choice for home purposes. Ladders made up of aluminum are lightweight and non-corrosive
Different kinds of industrial ladders are used for various applications. Most industrial ladders are made up of metal because they are required to be durable. Aluminum ladders become very popular because they are lighter in weight as compared to steel ladders and that is also not affected by corrosion. Some of the commonly used industrial ladders are step ladders, extension ladders, folding ladders, and platform ladders.
In my opinion, ladders are the most useful, sensible, and most importantly motivational things a person could ask for. It gives you a light, a light of path for your journey.
Quality that we all desire and it can become from those who are experienced in their work. So here for you EQUAL in which the name itself expresses the right one. EQUAL is a solution provider based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is one of the leading manufacturers in India. With Experience of 20+ years, EQUAL provides high-quality Ladders all over India at the best price. It designs ladders that are made from stainless steel and aluminum. Its ladders are durable and cost effective and they meet all the safety regulations.

Junk Hauling Is Ostensibly the Best Small Business to Start
Junk Hauling: Why It's Among the Best Businesses to Open
The best businesses for the ordinary person don't take a ton to start with. That is just because your ordinary person isn't loaded with money and can't pay to face the challenges that accompany starting a small business. The greater part of little businesses fall flat during their most memorable year of activity, and tons of individuals can't put consuming their time on earth in extreme danger savings on a 50/50 bet. The thing that makes rubbish hauling a good business to start is that it has such a low above. If you have a truck you own, your starting costs could be essentially zero. Track down a good sets of pigskins and get in the seat of your truck. Job on. These are just a couple of reasons for why rubbish hauling is simple business to start, and why it has all the likely on the planet to burden your wallet with cash.
1. The money: Junk hauling pays out the whazoo. A typical hourly rate for your rubbish hauling service is harsh to drop by. This ain't material. Every gig is remarkable. It could take you one hour to drop an entire bundle of horrible plastic grass tables from someone's storage unit into the bed of your apparatus, and it could totally top your bed off with non-paying junk. A different story is that it could require just one hour to bust up somebody's aluminum airstream trailer trapped in the ditch behind the house, and afterward Number One could get that doggy down to the piece yard and get papered good money for it. Everything thing you can manage before starting a new business is a little exploration. Realize which scrap yard has the best prices, and which is the nearest to you. May be worth the effort to drive an hour off with a unique load of scrap if they'll pay something else for it somewhere else and your apparatus doesn't chug gas like a F-450. Use the web. Search out what it costs, in dollars per cubic yard or by ton, to dump at a landfill. Before advertising your service, it's best that you know however much you can about what precisely you should make arrangements for once you leave the client's place with an enormous truck loaded with junk. Dependable guideline is metal's good, aluminum's perfect's, gold, and rubber and plastic will cost you.
2. Modest startup costs. If you don't own an apparatus, just rent one. Rent a haul-behind trailer if you have the vital hitch. If you rent an apparatus, make sure you budget your time ahead of time. Try not to get stuck cruising the roads on delayed pursuing nothing. '
3. Plan from home. Try not to be on any other individual's timetable. Haul on ends of the week.
4. Significant interest for the service. Americans, more than they at any point have, are paying for junk removal services.
5. Basically the least expensive advertising costs you can envision. View as your free of charge online: craigslist, Google, Hurray, and Howl. No paying for announcements.

How to: Refill with Plaine Products
If you’ve been around with us the past year then you know all about refilling. Through our refillery we were able to offer home good products essentially “on tap” to help reduce your single-use plastic. However, since I closed the retail store I knew the next best thing (and honestly more convenient) is introducing you to refill programs that come straight to your door.
Many years ago, I stumbled upon Plaine Products, and began ordering my shampoo and conditioner from them. In your first order you will receive the following:
Aluminum filled bottle of the product ordered
An aluminum top on that bottle
A pump
This will get you all set up and be your most expensive order. Why? Because you are making a payment down on the bottle. Once that bottle is empty, you will place an order for a new one that will be shipped to you in the same way, minus the pump since you now have one!
You will switch out your bottles and place the empty one back in the box and in the mailbox to send back to Plaine Products. They will then sanitize the empties and use them for a future order. We love this because it keeps the system closed loop!
Since expanding my Plaine Products account, I now also use their Body Lotion, Hair Repair, and Beauty Oil!

Toys for the rich that can cost less than a new Toyota Camry - before tax credits? You can get a brand new Chevy Bolt for $19k, cheaper than most sedans.
Even the cheapest Tesla, with federal tax credit, is $33k - that's $4k cheaper than a new Honda Odyssey (the classic mom van).
Electric cars give you range estimation. They also lie to you and save an extra 10-20 miles after their range estimates hit zero- after this you can't drive at highway speed and the car will drive slower and slower until you stop. You don't just run out. It depends on the manufacturer how exactly this is handled, but the car should be giving you tons of warnings well before you're in trouble. (And in OP's hypothetical, if you're on a mountain, driving downhill will recharge the battery.)
Yes, PV panels are not practical. This is largely because, as OP acknowledges, the area available vs the power density of sunlight is not great. Realistically, you can get about 200 W/m2 in strong sun and warm temps at solar noon with the panel facing the sun directly (which the panel on a roof of a car can't do unless many other things have gone wrong already). That's enough for - depending on the car - up to about one mile per hour per meter of panel in the best possible conditions. Which is something! Sometimes!
BUT it also costs money, adds reliability issues, introduces another potential expensive repair, only can help in some circumstances, and addresses an issue that (1) few drivers should be encountering and (2) the car tries quite hard to prevent you from reaching, which is why it's mainly super-luxury EVs that do it. It's flashy, expensive, and mostly useless.
1) Money. Normal solar panels that go on houses or in solar farms are mass-produced in standard shapes and sizes with standard frames and connections. They have standard quality and testing benchmarks that they've passed and they can more or less be made by the multimillions per year for barely more than the cost of raw materials. It's possible to shape thin solar cells to the roof of a car, which is, y'know, how some EVs do it, but it's far more expensive. The tools are bespoke and low-volume, you can't use the same cheap flat glass and standard aluminum framing, you have to re-test that it can stand up to rain and small hail and heat and high wind and all the other onslaughts that come with being on the roof of a car. The (optional) solar roof on a Hyundai Ioniq 5 adds >$1,000 to the purchase price while returning to you - at best - a whopping 3 miles per day if parked in full sun. Hyundai also offers solar cells on the most expensive Sonata hybrid - which will get you less than half a mile ler hour in full sun, but will set you back an extra $5,000. Cars that offer more than a few miles' worth per day are generally concept cars that'll set you back $100k or more, total, for up to ~40 miles. Cells are expensive and they don't gain you much.
2) Reliability and repair. On top of the purchase price, it's way more expensive to replace a panel with busted cells than to swap out a plastic body panel. There's more that can go wrong in assembly, it's harder to get replacement parts if you're in a crash, etc.
3) Solar panels are less effective when hot. When they're in the desert with free air circulation, that's one thing - if they're on top of the heat box that's a parked car? That's another. Much of the heating of a parked car happens through the windshields/windows (that's why putting a reflector up can drop the interior temps by 20 deg F or more). A parked car has the virtues of making the panels less efficient by tilting them away from the sun and heating them up. Batteries also cannot (safely) charge when over or under a limit temperature which varies with their chemistry. If you've heard a parked EV gently humming in the cold or heat, it's running its heat or AC to keep the battery at a safe temperature. This uses energy. So no, you may not even have more range at the end of a day of sitting in the sun - because energy is being used to keep the battery in its safe temperature range.
4) Many current consumer-affordable EVs can regain >100 miles of charge in less than 20 min on a fast charger and even >50 in 5 minutes.
5) If you're regularly cutting it that close on charging, you're really hurting your battery. You should not be doing that. Batteries degrade much faster when discharged to 0% than they do when discharged down to 20%. This has to do with the chemistry of the batteries and I can't go into huge detail here, but it's a similar phenomenon as why draining your regular car battery beyond its min state can destroy it permanently. Your battery will last far longer if you charge and discharge it small amounts more frequently than if you take it down to 0 and back to 100%. This is also true for e.g. laptop and phone batteries.
6) you CAN get electricity and bring it back. it's called a portable battery. some roadside service providers carry them. you can buy one. if your roadside service provider doesn't offer this, they can tow you home, which is far less expensive than a whole solar roof and far faster than waiting for two days for your car to charge.
even though people regularly have to get gas cars jumpstarted because they left the headlights on and the starting battery died - or because it got cold - and even though gas cars get hot in the sun, we do not cover gas cars in solar panels. because it's far more expensive and technically troublesome than it's worth.
Okay also I’ve been driving electric cars long enough now to be really emphatic that the fact that they’re not all automatically built with solar panels in the roofs is a scandal.
And somehow almost every time I tell anyone this they roll their eyes and attempt to explain to me that this would not create a perpetual motion machine because of the limitations of the area relative to the power draw of the motor, which is incredibly annoying because that’s not the point.
Yes it’s possible that driving in the sunshine with a solar collector dripping into the battery would net you a little more mileage on that trip before needing recharge, but the usefulness of a solar-topped electric car is that if you drive it someplace–say, to work–and leave it outside in the sun all day, you’ll definitely have more range available by the time you’re ready to head home.
Also if you fuck up your calculations because of the inefficiency induced by cold weather or something and get yourself stranded without anywhere to charge, like halfway up a mountain or, more likely, six miles from home, you can call for rescue or walk away, come back later, and it’ll be able to move again.
This is important because unlike running out of gas you can’t really go get some electricity.

Echoes of Home: 89 - Steve ("pictures")
Echoes of Home: FFXIV AU OC – WoLs on Earth
Engine's still not here yet.  Might be another week.  Or three.  It's leaving me itching to do something.  There's still the frame, which means there's still the aluminum, which means there's still the bauxite, which means there's still Arkansas.  Maybe on Sunday.  I'll need to scope out camping areas we can map from.
Tsu'na was kind of quiet after her corn-gathering, but not arms-length quiet.  We haven't really talked about all the thinking she did; I suspected we needed to, but I'm letting her pick the time.
In the meantime I thought I'd broaden her cuisine exposure a little.  "How about I introduce you to barbecue for lunch?"
"What is barbecue?"
"Classic meaning is stuff cooked on a grill, but it also includes pulled pork, which is slow-cooked until it can be pulled off the bone."
She contemplated my face. "Are you giving me a choice, Husband?"
Wasn't sure where that came from.  "Of course, my love.  Whatever you want."
"Guiseppe's?"
"If you want."
"Burger King?"
She must have seen one from the bus. "If you want."
"Japanese steak house?"
Highway billboard, maybe? "A little expensive, but if you want."
She nodded, still studying my face.  "I think I want to try barbecue today."
"Excellent choice, my love."
I searched for barbecue in Tulsa and came up with a place called Knuckle Sandwich BBQ (which, oddly enough, didn't have pig knuckles on the menu, but did feature a pig in boxing gear on the sign).  On the bus ride over, we talked about greenhouses and plexiglass.  I haven't tried any of Tsu'na's plastic recipes yet; I really should, to make sure they work for me.
I ordered us a little of everything when we got there.  We talked about how to make recipes for it all.  Pulled pork looked like a good use for the pork we got from the pig culling.  Brisket was more of a question…it's beef, yes, but a particular cut of beef.  I don't know if the beef we get from cows can work as "proto-beef" to synthesize brisket, or if we needed to buy some, make a recipe, and then see if it started dropping from cows.
"Are you thinking of a pulled pork pie, Husband?"
"Maybe.  Maybe pulled chicken too.  Brisket might be weird as a pie."
"Must everything we make be pies?  Could we not cook meals?"
"For the diner crowd?  That feels like it'd encroach on the Hartmans.  Besides, this is shtick.  We're the people who do the pies.  Gives it a sort of food-truck vibe."
"What is a food truck?"
"That'll be tomorrow's lunch."
We hadn't really targeted food crops in our harvesting, but it seems we can find cabbage and beans fairly easily, so cole slaw and baked beans wouldn't be a problem.  Tsu'na demonstrated yesterday that corn is still gatherable out of planting season, though she'd already gotten started on converting all her corn to corn oil, so cornbread would have to wait.
After lunch we visited Sunny Side Up Garden Shop to look at greenhouses.  I've heard of improvised (dare I say "redneck"?) greenhouses made from PVC pipe and mylar.  I was expecting to need to make a steel frame for plexiglass panels.  Cedar was a surprise.  It's sturdy, it stands up to weather like treated pine, it's bug-repelling, and it apparently grows all over most of Oklahoma.  Except the part immediately surrounding Wyatt, which is why we hadn't found it before.
I got out my phone and took pictures of how the greenhouse at the shop went together, especially how the plexiglass panels fit in the frame.
"What are you doing, Husband?"
"Taking pictures of the walls and stuff so we can build our own."
"Taking…pictures?"
"Yeah, see?  I point the back of the phone at what I want a picture of, then I press this button on the screen and it takes a picture.  I can open up the gallery and see the pictures I've taken."
"Can my phone do this too?"
I must have taken tens of thousands of screenshots in FF14, but Tsu'na had never seen or used a camera.  I walked her through opening the photo app and checking the gallery.  I set her phone up to backup to Google Photos and linked our accounts so we could see each other's pictures.  I showed her how to add captions in Photos and how to group pictures into albums.
She took a couple practice pictures, including one of me, then wandered through the center taking pictures of some of the flowers and statuary while I checked out the seed selection.  When we finished and Returned to Wyatt, she said, "I want to explore.  I will meet you for dinner," and headed toward town.
I camped at the Pit while I researched construction.  The frame looks easy enough, though it'll need to be anchored.  I want to avoid a concrete pad if we're putting it near the Pit or on the Hartmans' property, and a flagstone-and-gravel base would be better for drainage. And we might need lights and water…more wiring, and now plumbing as well.  But probably nothing we can't handle.
Between looking at materials and reading websites and watching how-to videos, I didn't really think about what Tsu'na might be up to for a couple hours.  Not until Sam came out of the back and asked me, "There a reason yer wife took a picture of me?"
Exploring.  Huh.  "I showed her how to take pictures with her phone.  Guess she's going a little nuts with it."
"Might wanna tell her some people don't like gettin' their pictures taken."
"I'll pass that on, yeah."
I checked my phone.  Sure enough, there were 53 alerts about new pictures added to Tsu'na's Photos account.  I pulled up her images, starting with the garden center ones.  After that were shots from around town.  I recognized most of the buildings -- May's market, the thrift store, the post office, the library -- but needed her captions to know the town had a doctor I hadn't met.
She took some pictures inside the library, including one of Mrs. Hobbes at her desk.  Then there was a picture of her with a smiling little girl…seems Tsu'na was being taught how to do a selfie.  The next picture had her with two little girls, the next one four; apparently all the kids wanted pictures with the Cat Lady.  Hope that doesn't spook the parents.
After that she worked her way back across town, getting a couple shots of the diner with Mrs. Hartman behind the counter.  Then the front of the Pit, then the workshop, and then, yes, there was Sam at the bar's back door holding a beer keg and looking surprised.
The last pictures were of a two-story house I didn't know, a set of exterior stairs leading to a door, and a sleepy-looking fat calico cat on a couch with the caption "Snuggles".  She'd mentioned Snuggles before…it meant she went back to May's place.
There was a bit of a gap after that one.  I checked the map and saw she'd gone home, maybe to wash up before the night's work, so I packed up and headed to the diner.
She showed up a few minutes after I got there, looking impishly happy. "Taking pictures is fun."
"Glad you enjoyed it.  How'd you get into May's place?"
"I followed her in again."
"And taking pictures doesn't break Stealth?"
"No, though Snuggles saw me again.  May did not seem to.  Perhaps we could be spies.  Are spies paid well?"
"Depends on who and what they're spying for.  But for now I'd rather avoid causing people to spy on us."
"Then perhaps I can…"  She typed a bit on her phone.  "...become a paparazzo?  What is a paparazzo?"
"It's like a spy but more obnoxious."
"I suppose I will continue to throw men around in cages, then."
"Good to keep your day job."

Because they can exert extreme force by use of hydraulic systems, these machines have found their ways into almost every form of industry. One company that has firmly grasped this technology and is now taking hydraulic press manufacturing to new heights is Veenus Hydraulics.
Understanding Hydraulic Presses
A hydraulic press is an apparatus making use of hydraulic cylinders to develop the compressive force required in its operation. The principle behind the working of a hydraulic press is quite simple and based on the theory of the hydraulic system, applying pressure on a fluid and then transmitting it to give a high magnitude of force within a confined space. Through this process, producers are able to create and form materials with both accuracy and uniformity.
Hydraulic presses are applied in applications like metal forming, plastic molding, die cutting, and compression molding. It is mainly used in applications with high precision and force levels. Most of the automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industries apply this product.
But it is not design that makes a hydraulic press successful; good parts and competence at manufacturing do. For such a job, Veenus Hydraulics comes up as a real professional.
