Villain: You're seeing this right?

Justice league: *turns around to find all the ghostly stuff gone* oh that's Danny *waves* hi Danny!

Villain: ...are you being serious right now?

It's not even that he's doing it on purpose, it's just anytime he does ghost things none of the heros are looking, and when they do have him in their sights he's just a normal person.

It probably wouldn't work for batman and his thousand cameras, but let's just say that it never got his attention cause no one in the league thought to mention it and the one time he did check it was just regular dude hours.

To the Justice league Danny is the humanist human to ever human.

Which is why they are so confused as to why this small branch of the government (mad scientist parents optional) is so sure he isn't.

Ideas and feedback welcome.#The core idea behind this AU is that LWJ goes to study with the Yunmeng Jiang sect instead of JC and WWX going to Cloud Recess #But why? Well I imagine Lan Xichen set it up to give LWJ a challenge (more social than skill based) and LWJ rose to it (begrudgingly)#Sort of a 'You've mastered so many Lan techniques but Other Sects have styles that are worth learning.' set up.#Lan Qiren agrees mostly on the basis that...well it's LWJ. Yunmeng Jiang is unruly but LWJ is beyond that riff-raff. He'll rise above it.#This is the story of a boy who thrives on routine and rules spending time in a place that is his apparent antithesis.#Also it is so warm there. He is used to it being cold and what do you MEAN just take off some of my layers?#I just want to see him struggle and flail in many situations. And get him in Jiang Purple. I simply think this fandom doesn't give Wei Wuxian enough credit for the various ways in which he saved Lan Wangji

#mdzs #mo dao zu shi #wangxian #idk man- i just see a lot of “Lan Wangji has always been protecting Wei Wuxian” posts and its like...#I mean... Lan Wangji has always certainly been trying to protect Wei Wuxian #it took him a long time to figure how to successfully do that though #rereading the books rn and noticing theres a lot of instances that could be read as lwj being frustrated over his inability to protect wwx #like he seemed ready to cry when wwx went missing for a while and then came back with the cursed leg #lwj has always been great at protecting wwx from physical threats (ex: waterborn abyss) but had no idea how to protect him from himself #meanwhile wwx has always been instictually good at saving lwj from both #like I'm 100% lwj would've become like Jiang Cheng if wwx hadn't snapped him out of the blindly following authority thing #and also like... 15 y/o lwj wasnt happy with his life. he was lonely and stressed and literally signing up to be flogged whenever he goofed #wwx is who allowed lwj to grow up by showing him what it was like to actually be a kid (shown in story whenever lwj gets drunk)#he led lwj to having a more flexible mindset. and it both let lwj relax and set lwj up to be a better parent #looking into lwj's dynamic with the juniors- he lets them break a fuck ton of the petty rules and encourages them to question authority #he also teaches them to not be married to any one meathod of problem solving #wwx is also able to save lwj from his own stubbornness #ex: carrying lwj when he broke his leg. getting lwj to cough up bad blood. getting lwj to keep the rabbits #wwx also tends to give lwj the words he has trouble saying himself. helps him communicate #wwx also protects lwj in fights a lot but thats narratively less important #except the various times wwx puts himself in danger to help lwj. those times are what made it so lwj could never move on from wwx #like with the cave incident #or when wwx helped surpress the arm instead of using the chaos to escape cloud recesses #tldr i guess: i think this fandom tends to treat lwj being the best like its natural to him when really wwx accidentaly rewired his brain #I'm looking directly at fanfic writers who act like the Lans would've treated wwx better than the Jiangs #lwj had to do so much work and self reflection post meeting wwx to be the way he is. he is not the sole product of the Lan teachings

Tango has a massive soft spot for mole rats. hates killing them and thinks that they’re absolutely adorable! they would #rather be electrocuted than to admire that they have feelings though!#Murphy is the second eldest of 5siblings with her twin brother Tom being marginally older #they all look very similar (freckles. light brown hair. tanned #and front teeth gaps) and they have the youngest is tallest / oldest is shortest height variants haha!#they grew up together and stuck together even after the youngest was killed in a battle on Aus soil against fallout china. they all decided #to move to America and enlist (as was common) but we’re all put into seperate squads). the bombs fell and she lost track of her 3 brothers #after the whole being frozen for 210years.. perhaps they are still out there ..#Libby is just over 100 and remembers back when the super mutants actually were an organised threat.. rather than small groups #slick is only an average shot but his tactics are excellent and he has very steady hands as well as enough medical knowledge to be a useful #field doctor! he would much rather be helping than shooting anyway #Thorn is part of tangos timeline/au and because she convinces Kellogg to take her directly to the institute #none of the usual teleporter run around missions happen as well as reunions happening in almost a second time.. that has a lot of #impact on how the story changes for everyone involved!#while nathan is the present time is barely a husk of his former self albeit in a much more dangerous body #he has retains enough of his subconscious memeories to be increasingly dangerous to power armour users.. imagine if when a deathclaw picks #you up it also knows how to operate the release latch rip #typos! ocs tag #typos! tango tag #typos! i get into hi fi rush and then proceed to make the most TOXIC ASS hfr oc. this is seltzer (he/they). he is Hashtag Problematic.

hes a precanon character who i created for the main purpose of exploring chais backstory which is FREE REAL ESTATE and subject chai to wretched things. making up a reason why chai is such a lonely ass independent guy at the start of the game AND SELF INDULGING AT THE SAME TIME (i love emotional whump). seltzer is red flag ass emotionally manipulative motherfucker. lmao

he is uhh. chais ex-"friend" that chai met at a venue during a local band performance in college. in quotes bc its a kinda complicated one sided deal. hes in a band called acid scale thats just a group of friends fucking around with instruments. their skills are mediocre and their music is DOGSHIT
