had a long and detailed dream about seeing a play that doesn’t exist
#kind of a modern staging of julius caesar or oedipus rex by way of kyoto and the tv adaptation of a spy among friends#staged in my university. i genuinely dreamt about having a scholarly discussion about it afterwards too#i dreamt about a text i used in my dissertation having a chapter on it….#i think i even recall the detail that the play was called ‘waves’ but when i found it online it was under a different name#à la the new labour documentary out of the shadows (1996) being under the name#‘emerging from the penumbra’ on youtube. so peculiar. so fascinating#and i was caught in the rain on my way there and a book i had got sodden and then expanded when it dried in exactly the way#it’d do in real life….. fantastic. i need to drink black coffee in a brutalist research building
