is just fucking bigotry.

And even if you want your story to start off as the latter and then the character reclaims those pronouns and wears them with pride, you still have to show the character going out of its way to choose them for itself.

you cannot just show us a character being constantly dehumanized and degendered to other them and never give them any say in the matter.

especially because most of the people writing the latter scenario are literally unaware that people who use it/its pronouns on purpose exist. They're literally just trying to dehumanize the characters.

Yes, this includes if you also use it/its pronouns and think being an elderitch abomination is cool. You need to also have human or else "normal" people who use it/its pronouns too.

its so crazy that for the last 5 years a small but annoyingly vocal online group has been acting like mob movies of all things are pretentious and inaccessible cinema. yeah the godfather is kinda slow but these are movies about criminals who shoot people
