i've got you under my skin (where the rain can't get in) - chapter two
The chemistry between them still just as electric as it had been that first night Paul had played for him. John’s knee would knock into his and he’d lean into his space, close enough that his breath would puff out against Paul’s cheek as he reached for another vinyl and Paul would think this was it, but he’d just lean back again like nothing had happened.
While John launched into a spiel about the newest Queen album, one hand braced behind him and his pinkie finger brushing against Paul’s thigh, Paul wondered if he felt it too.

Happy STS Elli!
What inspires you to write? Are there things that you know that you can get inspiration from or does it just come randomly?
Happy STS!
For me, inspiration doesn't mean "to write".
There are, and always have been, a lot of stories floating around in my mind - ideas, scenes, vibes, outlines. I get inspiration from literally everywhere, from talking to my friends, and video games, and scrolling past images or prompts, and reading books, and spending too much time on reddit, and…
Many remain daydreams, or character backstories, eventually lost to time.
Now for actually being able to sit my ass down and get words on the page? I don't know. It comes and goes as it pleases. Having a beehive where a brain should be does NOT help, let me tell you that.
I just. Can't focus on shit lately. Can barely make it through a chapter when reading. Every day is just suddenly over, and I got nothing done, and I am so tired. I have a completely outlined short thing I have been trying to write since Nov, and it's like pulling teeth.
I could do with several months off work while everyone leaves me the fuck alone. How would that be.

okay I think that maybe it's okay actually to be part of fandom without actively following the source material. there are definitely corners of fandom where the source material is little more than a loose recommendation, or it's just set and setting, and people celebrate pushing its boundaries. that is an okay thing to do I'm sorry I'm not sorry. there will ALWAYS be interpretations of canon that you disagree with, whether they come from Content Watchers or Content Ignorers, so why does so much energy get wasted on berating the Ignorers?
do you get your panties in this much a twist about the die hard, by the text, no wiggle room interpretations? because that's the alternative. what about AUs? do you know that you can't have your coffee shop AU or childhood friends AU or whatever without basically kicking canon out the window in favor of reinterpretation?
I just
it's not lazy to engage with fandom like that. it's not wrong to seek community in fandom even though you're behind on the Content, or even if you never intend to consume the Content. it's not a given that creators disengaged from source content don't do any research.
There Is No Wrong Way To Be A Fan Of A Thing and maybe we all need to fucking relax

a very stressful week of noodle acting extremely lethargic, having no appetite, and having really itchy paws has resulted in two trips to the vet and some meds but no obvious answer as to what's wrong. but he seems to be doing a bit better now so that's. good

Temporary Etsy Closing
Hey yall, I'm temporarily closing the Etsy for a day or two because I sold stuff at the sale.
I just
Don't know what got sold.
(Basically I know how many sets of earrings sold but not WHICH sets which... I had like ~70 sets on sale and they were also managing selling ceramics from ~ 20 other artists so I GET IT)
So until I figure out which ones got sold I'm just putting the shop in vacation mode bc my biggest fear is someone buying a set that's already sold.
