omg i also met an 82 year old man at work tonight (he told me his age multiple times) who had like, the exact same personality as my grandfather. it was like he had come back to life, this guy stood at the desk for 10 literal entire minutes telling me about how he had just bought a smartphone and couldn't figure out how to use it. i said maybe 3-5 words the entire time. it was glorious.

#my grandpa did that exact thing then he decided to buy an ipad??? so we went through the whole thing again #it was like deja vu <3 #my grandpa was such a specific type of old man it's honestly so fun to spot other ones of his kind out in the wild #if u see a guy in his 80s wearing a short sleeve button up shirt khakis and white grandpa sneakers well then that's a gramps #if he's either monologuing at a young service worker or complaining about something banal... well that's also a gramps #you know the old men who like to hang out and watch construction sites?#yeah that is not a gramps. if he only walks up to construction sites to give them criticism and/or chat for way too long that's a gramps #like i said it's very specific but it's also an entire genre of man #bri babbles

Haha, understandable concern, although you should have no fear! Dreams are just that, stories made up by the subconscious when the brain is cleaning things up. Seems kinda wild to see jellyfish washed up on beaches, in general! What if you step on one!?

#i think ive only had a dream that came true once #although it wasnt really a dream. i think it was a dream. it was akin to a deja vu but i had like… an opinion on the likelihood of it -#happening before it happened which is unlike a normal deja vu where you feel it as it happens #maybe two weeks before the actual deja vu i suddenly had knowledge of this event and thought “hmmm probably wont happen”#it was a weird timeless sort of sleep where im not exactly sure when i dreamt it but i suddenly recalled it again as the deja vu occurred #is this making sense? anyway. the point is that i would know #my dreams are weird and funny but they are only dreams! deja vu is another can of worms as no one knows what causes those #my dreams have discernible common themes and features which become pretty clear when you observe them all #hence why i could make a universe out of them pretty easily :3 #asks #nikkikan

i think i hyped up this album too much tbh

#like don't get me wrong i actually like it a lot #and the concept is one of my favorites so far for sure #but for comparison when freefall came out it was literally the only thing i listened to for like . 4 or 5 days #and freefall wasn't even THAT strong imo #but with tomorrow i listened to it a lot yesterday and then i was like... yeah ok that was fun <3 moving on #and now i'm back to my regular playlist #daklsjdhsad #like i said i do like it and quarter life definitely did something to my brain #and the anemoia remix of deja vu is one of my fav txt tracks #but other than that i ended up feeling a little underwhelmed i guess??#but then again it could be the mental illness bc i've been struggling to feel interested in literally anything lately so who knows #rant cw #🌙.txt

the editing they do on these shows works wonders bc the fancams im seeing of p7 round 2 are not looking great

#im gonna be a hater for a second #prefacing this by admitting i have a HEAVY bias towards fun fresh concepts so regardless of all the things i mention i wouldnt-#-have been totally satisfied anyway #ive grown out of liking hard hitting noisy performances #anyway #first of all some of these song choices suck #secondly its a little obvious that some groups were made bc theyre relying on certain trainees being popular #and third even if the songs werent questionable there are hardly any trainees who could pull them off #bc in what world does A2 suit monsta x there are actual children in that group??#A1 with riize is probably the only team with songs that (mostly) make sense for them #so seated for gunwoo and seokhee in memories but theyre literally the only two im looking forward to this entire round #another thing idk why they would give them deja vu of all txt songs like i think i can name 3 trainees who would actually suit that song #and neither of them are in that group so.#none of this is even the trainees' fault they just chose the wrong songs for this #part 1726728 of the chronicles of p7s producers making the worst possible choices #dabae speaks #project 7
