Muted ( The Outsiders) Chapter 15 Love Is Hard For Everybody
Tumblr media
I can tell Alley wants soda. Its hard you know, hes my best friend and my brother, and when we were kids we used to do everything together. but as he's gotten older, he's gotton more focused on girls, and im not saying that as a brat way, im saying that as i want to have fun with my brother without having some brat of a girlfriend ruin it. Im not saying Alley is a brat, im saying, that sandy was a brat, and i dont want to have soda have another heartbreak. again not saying Alley would do that but still.
I had a realtionship once. It was so bad, i mean the worst. His name was William. Very basic to everybody. He pressured me into having sex, and then he left me the next day. he was an ass-hole. he told me and i quote, " It was fun last night, but your not the type, too protective." yeah, he's on my hit list. for sure.
I could feel myself fadeing from the gang, in a way i did not want, but i didn't know how to stop myself. I felt like if i didn't do something, i would loose soda, and if i did do something, i would loose Alley, neither of which i wanted to do, so i guess i would loose both of them in their love game. God love is hard. I found myself hanging out more, with Johnny or Two-bit or even Steve. Which almost everybody was confused with because we had a love hate realtionship if you know what i mean. but soda didn't seem to mind, neither did Alley, and that made me sad.
i've always been a very low self-esteem kind of person, i didn't have any. and i would get most of it from soda, so i guess thats part of the reason that i have been falling away from the gang. and you might think im jealous. nope, not at all. Soda has the right to have anybody he wants, thats why i didn't say anything about him and sandy. its not my place, to put him in his place. thats darry's job. i really dont know what i am going to do.
the door slammed shut, and that brought me out of my trance.
Dallas winston, of course, the one the only. We have come to terms actually, which is kinda hard to believe.
Flashback:
"Hey baby, can i talk to you, in private?" dallas asked
i nodded.
" listen i know that what i did was wrong, and i want another chance. i want us to forget what happened, so we can be friends. i want to try this. please."
I nodded
" awesome!"
end of flashback
to you it might seem, like it was really stupid of me, to just asume that he was gonna be nice. but im one to give second chances. so deal with it.
" Hey baby, wanna go to a party with me?" he asked sitting down besides me, and grinning like a cheshire cat.
I pretended to think about it, and then i nodded.
" Really, your gonna go out to a party with the dude who raped you??" Alley came in from the kitchen, probably kissing soda.
I nodded. yes i was, maybe i could get drunk and forget about all this crap going on in my life.
" thats litterally the worst thing you could do right now, do you know that?" Alley screamed.
I cocked my eyebrows. i could think of worse.
" oooooooooh, Millie's going on a date tonight!!" Two-bit smiled as he pointed that out.
 i went up and smacked him upside the head.
" it's not a date two, its a little thing for friends." dallas pointed out THAT fact.
" then why am i not going?" he asked
" ew, you think that you are our friends?? you got to be drunk two-bit" steve butted in.
This was gonna be fun. with alley fuming, soda trying to calm her down, two-bit laughing, steve joking, and dallas being dirty, yes it was gonna be one hell of a night.

Thinking of you today- 03.17.23
Thinking about you again. Thinking about you always. I need you tonight. Bent over my lap. Panties pushed to the side. Fingers in your mouth while I dig out your ass. Spank you. Taste you. Feel how wet I can make it. I’m hard just thinking about you. You been bad and I need to punish you. You hit me. Hurt me. I don’t care why. Even if you think I deserved it. You put your hands on me and now it’s my turn. Beg me to forgive you while I’m eating you out. Tell me you’re sorry while I have one hand around your neck and one spreading your legs for me as I rub my penis anywhere I please. Tell me you love me over and over. Each time you say it, a slap in your face. I love you, Gil. Slap. I’m sorry, Gil. Slap. Please forgive me, Gil. Slap. Please rape me, Gil. Slap. I’m your dirty little slut, Gil. Slap. Because I don’t care what you say. You’re mine because I want you to be. Dangerous little girl.
Dangerous love. Are we really bad for one another? Or are we so good for each other that if we let ourselves just go for it, we’d consume one another entirely? Risk it all. Lose it all. I see it in your eyes. You devour me the same way I devour you. Dangerous. That’s why we fight. That’s why we’ll always fight. We want something we can’t have. I told you. You can’t have both. You said you know. But it doesn’t matter, does it? If you’re honest with yourself, that’s what you want. You do want both.
Safe, sweet boys to bring home to Mom and Dad. To go on precious little dates with. To kiss on the lips, make cute little promises to, plan your perfect future with. So easy, so simple, so secure. That gentle kind of love. You don’t question it. You just know. It’ll last forever if you let it. Like Ashley and I. Even when it’s bad, it’ll be good, Worth it. Comfortable. Will it keep you satisfied? I wonder.
Because then there’s me. What are we, and why do you feel this way? Chaotic, explosive, the highs and the lows. The fights, the feelings. Half the time you hate me. But you still can’t get me off your mind. There’s no future for us but you can’t let go. You know I can’t either. When we go out I just wanna finger you under the table while you watch those stupid TikTok videos. I’ll kiss you everywhere except the lips. That’s asking for trouble. But I am trouble. Drunk, high, and I want you bent over in the backseat of your car again. I love the way your skin feels against mine. I want to get closer. I’d climb inside your skin if I could.
Look me in the eye. Those mesmerizing eyes of yours. No one has ever looked at me like that before. I’ve never felt this way before. This is different and I don’t understand it either. More than friends. Less than lovers. But somehow more than that too. This is why we fight. Because my soulmate is temporary. Because there will never be another you. Because I’m losing you. You want to pretend it’s not happening. Happy, understanding, simple. You want to keep playing the game. And I will. I love the game. I love pretending too. That it’ll last forever. That it can. But that’s why we fight. Because of the little reminders that it’s not the same.
What happened to that independent, headstrong girl? She’s got a bedtime now? By some kid who was still in grade school when I was already in college? It blows my mind that that’s who I have to give you up to. That’s why I said those things. I know it hurts your feelings. I know. But it hurts mine too. I know I can be mean and I’m sorry. I’m hurt and I know you are too. Your anger comes out in screams and fists. Mine in those short, slick comments. Because I see these glimmers out of the old days, the old you, but then bam! Reality is back and it’s not fair.
None of it is fair. It’s not fair that I love you. It’s not fair that you love me. It’s not fair that you love him. It’s not fair that you and I can never be anything more than this, but you and he can. That’s not fair. It’s not fair that you get both. It’s. It is not fair that I would do anything for you. Buy you anything, take you anywhere, give you everything. Die for you should it be required. Anything. But it’s still not enough. It’s not your fault. It’s not mine. We just can’t be anything other than part-time. And it’s not fair because I want you so, so badly. I sit here all day and night and think about you. What do I even want from you? What can to do with you? But you aren’t mine to keep. And neither am I. And that is just so unfair.
I’m an artist. You’re my muse. You’re my disaster. My hurt. My heart. No one will ever love you the way I do. I think you know that. Crazy and obsessive. Weird. I immortalize you with each word; you become a poem, a picture, a piece of art. I have an artist’s heart and don’t you know?  Artists are the saddest people in the world but the greatest lovers. No one will ever look at me the way you do. There’s fear in your eyes. Love, lust, joy, sadness, but just a little bit of fear too. Are you afraid of me? Afraid of losing me? Afraid of the way I make you feel?
The fights will continue. I’m not fighting you though. I’m not even fighting myself. I’m fighting our fate. Our tragedy. We do fit. In some strange way, our puzzle pieces are an exact match. The problem is that they don’t make a picture. Matching pieces, different puzzles. I hate that. It’s not fair. None of this is. We’re not fighting each other. I don’t mean to hurt you. You don’t mean to hurt me. But it hurts. I know you feel it too. The other night you told me you don’t know what to do because you love a man who doesn’t want change. And that just next level broke my heart. Because it’s true. I won’t change. I love who I am. You love who I am. Even if I did change, I don’t think you’d like it because then I wouldn’t be me anymore.
I was too upset at the time, but I wanted to tell you that I don’t know what do to because I love a girl who thinks she has to change. All that plastic surgery stuff. All that back and forth between “I’m gonna do what I want”, and “I’m never doing that again.” That flip-flop between “I wanna have fun”, and “I want to live this strict disciplined life.” You are more than one thing. You are a woman of god, but you do also know how to have a good time. I love that about you. I respect that about you. I’m sorry when I make quips about it. You’d never say it but I know that’s one of the main reasons it would never work. Because I’m not a Jesus-guy.
I’m going to write this once and I will never admit it again. But I tried. When you started getting more into that stuff again, I bought myself this bible on Amazon because I was like let me see if I can understand. Let me connect with you in this way too. But it’s just not for me. Faith is felt, not learned. And that’s okay, I’m not faithless. My beliefs are just less organized I suppose. And it’s very embarrassing to even be writing this, but I did try. For you. Like I said. Anything for you.
My eye hurts so bad today. The one you punched me in. It’s my bad eye. Every time I blink it aches and I have such a bad headache. It’s kinda getting like this white puss in it too.  Anyways. It’s Sunday morning now. Sunday Funday. I meant to finish this last night, but I was too tired. I love writing for you. To you. You’re my number one fan. You’re a writer too you know. I think that’s so beautiful and impressive since English isn’t even your first language. You never cease to impress me.
It’s part of our connection. Words. Especially when we’ve had a few drinks. Our conversations are weird, and lyrical. We speak to each other in poems sometimes. Do you peep that too? In little verses and sentences that could be written down and published someday. Even through text. You match me. You meet me. No one has ever been able to do that before. The things we talk about, and the way we talk about them. Most people don’t understand what I’m saying half the time, so they just agree and change the subject. But not you. From day one you challenged me. Questioned me. I love that. Yes, I love to argue. But I also love it because that means you listen. Maybe I’m just too much of an artsy-farsty guy so I romanticize everything. But that’s art too. Our conversations. Our back and forth. Delicate wordplay. Weaving verbal masterpieces that only we can appreciate.
I’ll never find another you, but you’ll never find another me either.
The way I touch you is art, too. It’s like you said, it’s not about sex. I think I said something like that too, last time when I was on mushrooms. I could have sex with any girl. You could do it with any guy. You and me though. It’s different. It is about the intimacy. There’s an inexplicable passion to it. I can’t hold you. I can’t kiss you. Yeah, it’s rough. Yeah, it gets crazy. Yeah, sometimes it’s overwhelming. But I can only do those things to you because I love you. I can only touch you that way because I love you. And you can only let me because, in your own way, you love me too. Because you trust me. One time you had your shirt off and I was running my hands down your body. Yes, I was horny as hell but I thought for a moment how happy I was that you show yourself to me. That you open yourself to me. To be vulnerable and soft. Even just for a while. That’s why I don’t like when you get upset afterward. I do it out of love. I wanna make you feel good. Just be with me sometimes. However, we are, just be. And when it’s over don’t feel guilty or disgusted. Because I’m giving myself to you too in those moments. There’s a vulnerability on my end too. To treat you rough, to make you mine, to say those things. It takes an incredible amount of trust from me too.
Anyway, it’s after 1pm now. I’m in and out of sleep and writing this in between. I keep dreaming of you. I’m horny for you and every time I wake up, my dick is hard again. Sunday Funday. We used to be together then. Peach Valley in the morning. Millenia Mall. Cheesecake Factory. The Outlets. America Social. Pretty sure I know where you are today. At least partially. I don’t bother checking anymore. I’ll never ask “wyd” again. The truth is, I don’t like texting you anymore. Because you’re right. Part of me is still crazy, and obsessed. So if we’re texting and you don’t answer for a while, I know it’s going to hurt my feelings. Better to just leave you alone. See you in person, or wait for you to call. When you have time for me.
I want to run away with you. We used to joke that I’d kidnap you one day, but now it’s true. Tie your hands and feet, put you in the trunk of my car, and just drive. To Colorado or maybe Arizona. Somewhere with a lot of trees. Along the way, I’ll open the trunk and fuck you when I feel like it, but I won’t let you out. I bought you a house just like I said I would. Drained my saving for a cottage in the middle of nowhere. No wi-fi. No phones. You’ll hate it at first. There’s nothing to do but spread your legs for me whenever I want. You’ll have to write in your free time. Or draw. Read. In the middle of the wilderness, where I keep you, my precious prisoner.
Time doesn’t matter there. We don’t have an expiration date. It doesn’t matter that we’re dangerous for one another out there. No one to impress. Nothing to distract. I’m yours and you’re mine, however we want. For however long we want. You’d probably write a book that’s better than mine. We could take walks in the woods and talk about everything. Life. The universe. God. Maybe you’d even make a believer out of me. I’d fuck you in the woods. Against a tree. Or on the ground, in the dirt. Dirty. Naked. Free. Just you and me. Doing whatever we want. No label needed. No other girls or boys. I’m your favorite guy. Your only guy. I’d cook for you. You can teach me how to make rice. Teach me to speak Creole, or like at least like kinda. I’ll teach you to play ukulele and write songs for you. I’ll teach you how to squirt for me. When we need stuff we’ll go into town. You can pick out whatever you want. Clothes. Shoes. Bags. Food. I’ll take care of you. You’ll take care of me. You don’t have to feel guilty. You didn’t run away. I stole you. Will I ever give you back to the world? Who can say? That’s my true fantasy right there. Space and time. Alone with you.
It's 5pm now and I haven’t left my bed. I miss you. I’m grumpy and tired. My feet hurt. My face hurts. You’re sending me dirty messages on Tumblr. It’s turning me on. I love it when you tease me. I hate when you tease me. You need to be punished. I need to taste you. I’ve already cum three times to you today. I used to wish I was taller but I love how short I am next to you. Titty level. So that I can suck them with my hand between your legs while you stand there and pretend it’s not driving you crazy. I like that post you relogged. Next time you Facetime me wear my shirt until I tell you to take it off and then rub your pussy with it. Nasty girl. I love everything about you.
Secrets. My secret is that I like that you’re just a girl. You’ve always been just a girl. My favorite one, but I’ve always known. You’re not soft, but you’re so gentle, so sweet. You’re a good girl. I don’t like when people call you rough or mean. You were never like that with me. Never. Even from day one, you were sweet with me. Sure you were a bit more closed, but I never thought you were rough. The first time we went to Kobe’s you surprised me. You were so giggly and bubbly, and you were wearing that blue dress. Just a pretty, funny girl.
Secrets. We all have them. I’m yours, but you’re mine too. I wonder what they say about us at work nowadays?  Steven tried to ask me about you last week. Not directly but I knew what he was getting at. They know better than to talk about you to me. Every so often someone still makes a slick comment or something, but at this point, I pretend like we don’t even talk outside of work. They probably look at you, then look at me and think there’s no way it’s anything like “that”.
Shoot, I barely believe it myself. I used to think you were a virgin, or close to it at least. I remember the first time you sent me a video on Snapchat. I thought, there’s no way. I didn’t believe it was you. You were so innocent, so proper, too bubbly for all that. Plus, I had really only seen you in the work uniform up until then. And yeah your ass was poppin’, but imagine my surprise to find out you had the craziest body underneath it the whole time. Mind-blowing. But I’d never tell a soul. I think that would ruin it too. You and I, we exist in our own little private world somewhere no one else can see. I like it like that.
But I do hate when anyone tries to call you rough. It like, offends me. I remember that one night we were at STP with ATL. That random guy was sitting with us trying to talk to you. He was trying to argue with you about some bull crap and you were tearing him up. It turned me on so much. I remember that I was rubbing your leg the whole time you were talking to him because I wanted you so bad. You were so hot for that. And then you went to the bathroom and he called you difficult, or hard-up, or something like that. I remember I shrugged my shoulders and he asked if I would “hit it.” He said it’d be too much work. I just laughed. Tough little girl but you were always so sweet to me. Just a girl but it’s okay. You’ve been my favorite one since that day.
I absolutely fell for you at STP. There are three specific times we went there that led to that. That was the first one. The second was before when it was just you and me. I think I wrote about it before. Where we sat in your car afterward and you were so upset about something that you started crying, and all I could do was rub your back and think to myself, “Who is this girl!?”. I was messed up over you ever since. The third time was when I came back from Texas from having my surgery. I was on all those painkillers, and could barely drive, but you begged me to go out there. Tykeah was there and you made me wait so you could take her home and it could be just us. I loved that. Because you knew I wanted you all to myself. Ashley was so mad that I left that night. Hadn’t even unpacked our bags yet. But it was so worth it. That was the first time we kissed. I couldn’t help it. I had missed you so much that week and a half.
But now we can never go back there again. Lol.
Today is St. Patrick’s Day. I was going to go out but I’m so tired now. I have to go grocery shopping. Tomorrow I have to turn in the keys at my old place. I’m still so exhausted and there’s still so much to do. To think about. But I’m lying in bed with my hand on my balls wondering if I can bust another one right now. I wonder what you’re doing. Like I said, I don’t want to think about it anymore. I don’t want to know. What I want you to be doing is lying in bed with your pants off, fingering yourself thinking about how much you want me to eat you. How much you want me to nut all over you. To make you rub yourself with it. I want you to suck my fingers like you’re hungry. Show me you want it and then maybe I’ll give it to you.
Now it's 7pm and I’m as awake as I’m going to Bar Louie because they have cheap, green beer. I’ll think of you while I’m there. I’ll wish you were there with me instead of the idiots I’ll be hanging out with. If I’m drunk enough, I’ll probably even call you on the way home. I wonder if you’ll answer or if you’ll be “busy.” I would insert the rolling eyes emoji here, but I’m on a Word doc. I could keep writing. For some reason, I never run out of things to say to you. New things to tell you, new words to express my feelings, old memories to recall. New nasty things I want to do with you. But this is already 5 going on 6 pages long, so I’ll wrap it up here.
I don’t know. I will say that. Things feel good right now. I miss you. I want you. I’m horny for you. But how long can this last? How long will it? I am deeply afraid of the future because I fear I will lose my mind if I lose any more of you than I already have. I’m scared, to be honest. You always ask if I feel better after we have one of our talks. Sometimes I do. But then the next day, it just feels sad again because I know. I know there’s nothing we can do but hold onto each other the best we can. I just feel like… Well, that’ll have to be another short novel later.
I would say I hope you’re having a good day, but that’s not true. I hope you had a decent day but you spent it wishing that you were with me instead. So have a mid-rest of your day, pretty girl.

Now Professor Perseus Malfoy is looking for revenge, and Daisy is looking for forgiveness.
Notes: Warning Main Male Character is what you consider bad, or some may say a "villain." We tagged as many warnings as we saw fit. If you think there should be other tags, please let us know. This story follows another main female character from our dungeons and dragons game based in the Harry Potter universe. We will be putting her with other male oc's as well as time goes on as separate stories, and if you wanna read about her best friend Adelia's journey we will be actively keeping up with both of them.
Chapter 1: Her pain is his Pleasure
Daisy was miserable. She was able to avoid Perseus Malfoy for a good 6 years after his father professor Malfoy died. She truly blamed herself for it really, if she hadn’t gone to the forbidden forest that day to collect ingredients, if she hadn’t cried to professor Malfoy and told him what she saw, if she had pleaded with him not to go in or perhaps if she had simply stayed in the forbidden forest and accepted her fate instead of running… but it was too late for that now he was dead and it was all her fault. She knew he hated her… resented her… hell she was pretty sure his brothers blamed her too. Now in her seventh year it was officially impossible to avoid him, with his 6-year age gap he is now the new potions professor at Hogwarts… his father’s previous position. Every class she felt his eyes piercing through her. She would always be the last to arrive and first to leave the class, never wanting to be alone with him. She had always loved potions class, and now she dreaded it! One day unfortunately she had to stay behind in potions. She had to make multiple star salve potions for her friend Fredric, quidditch season was starting, and that boy attracted danger like no other. She did her best to be accurate while rushing at the same time. In her clumsiness and rush she dropped a flask shattering it on the ground, gasping, she froze…. Oh god oh god oh god this was it… he’d kill her, he'd stand up and just cast the killing curse right then and there! Shaking violently tears streamed down her face, this was pure hell; her ears seemed to be ringing so loud that she couldn’t hear her new professor say her name and get up going over to grip her shoulder tightly.
“You have always been a thorn in my side, you know that?” he hissed in her ear. Spinning her around he slammed her against the wall and pinned her arms against the wall “You know… even after 6 years… I still see your 11-year-old face stained with crocodile tears… pretending to be sad about my father’s death… you may have fooled the others, but you can’t fool me” he sneered, Daisy’s hands were turning purple from how tightly he was gripping her wrists. Tears continued to spill down her cheeks “I- I’m not lying when I say I feel awful! I blame myself every single day! If I could’ve taken his place I would have! I don’t deserve your forgiveness” she cried. Perseus smirked “You truly don’t deserve my forgiveness, but perhaps you can atone for your crimes in another way…” he whispered in her ear. Daisy’s eyes grew wide… What did he mean? What was he going to do? He released her wrists and she let out a breath she didn’t realize she was holding as feeling returned to her fingers. Soon however she was holding her breath again as he gripped her waist and pressed her body closer to him “so plump and soft…” he purred, running his hands up and down her body. Daisy had certainly grown in the past 6 years; her thighs and hips grew round and soft, but not only that, her breasts had quadrupled in size “you have such a slutty body… I want to see it writhe in pain” he confessed, and Daisy felt heat begin to pool into her core “p-pain? she asked sheepishly. “Yes, pain” he confirmed “I want you to feel the agony my family felt… I want to give you the exact same pain….” Daisy looked down and back up at him… she wanted so badly for him to forgive her maybe it was selfish of her to refuse…after a moment of silence she nodded “O-okay… okay I'll do it” she said just loud enough that he could hear it. Without even letting her prepare for the pain he pressed his wand to her stomach,
“Crucio.”
She tried to hold back her screams, not wanting to alert anyone nearby, but it seemed like her professor would rather her not “scream for me, no one will hear you, I made sure of that” he said as he cast a spell on the door locking it tight. No longer holding back her screams of pain her body gave out and collapsed against him. The pain was overwhelming, she held onto him for dear life as the pain radiated through her but something else ran through her as well…pleasure? Her body was in pain. She couldn’t believe what he had just done to her. That was a fucking curse. A Fucking Curse?! The anger from her quickly escaped, though she knew deep down she deserved it. He was right. His father was dead, and it was her fault. The pain was overwhelming though. After a few moments, the pain started to get weird. Do I like this feeling? No, that's wrong. Right?
"I deserved that. Are we even no…." Before she could even finish, he grabs her by the neck and slams her to the wall. "Not even close, you filthy little mudblood."
His body still pressed up against her. Her giant breasts pressed up against his body hard. His hand firmly around her neck just enough for her to be able to still breath. The pain still radiated through Daisy's body. She didn’t know whether to fear for her life right now or enjoy it, because she couldn’t lie to herself. It didn't feel horrible. I don't think I deserve all of this much though. He already casted a curse on me, and that was far enough.
Perseus slams his lips to her mouth and without his tongue even asking for permission his tongue enters exploring every inch. Daisy lets out a small moan.
"That’s right you little whore. Of course you like it. I knew you would. " he says. His eyes looking at her like she is only his now.
Daisy raises her two arms and uses her hands to push him away.
"No, you don’t get to do all of this. This isn't right." He pushes himself back up against her. "But you feel bad for what you did right? So you have to make up for it.” Daisy looked away biting her lip, of course she did… but this seemed extreme!
Daisy feels his cock through his pants immediately up against her center. Quickly before Daisy can even try to do something. He moves his hands down to her waist and picks her up. Daisy tries to escape his grasp from her waist, but his grip gets harder as he walks over to his desk. With one hand he slides off all of the things on his desk. Glass breaks on the desk and onto the floor and papers scatter everywhere. He throws her onto the desk and a sharp pain shoots into her back.
"Fuck! Maybe we should clean this off a bit mo…"Daisy screams out. "Remember you deserve everything that's going to happen tonight. Daisy immediately slaps him across the face. His face was slightly shocked but still angry. "No, I may deserve to be punished but this is just too far."
His hands grab her at the waist of her pants as he rips them off in one swoop. He undoes his pants and exposes his hard throbbing cock to her. Daisy never thought she would be in this position, that she can't look away from it. She watches as he pushes aside her panties. His hands move to pin her wrist to the table. She wasn't going to slap him again.
"Here's what's not going to happen. You, telling me what to do." Before she could fight back, he slams his cock into her, and Daisy lets out a whimper trying to hold back any noises, but she simply didn't expect him to move so fast. Daisy starts to raise her knees up to push him off, but when he notices he slams himself into her again. She can't hold back a moan in the mix of pain and pleasure...
"Don’t act like you don’t like this. " He starts to move in and out of her rapidly now at a steady pace and keeps holding her hands down. "I just don’t thin…" "Shut up. Just give in to me. You can't deny how good this feels. Daisy starts warming up down to her center and knows exactly what's going to happen.
Perseus finally lets out a groan as he feels her get tighter. "Mmmm see? You are doing so good right now. Your tight cunt around my cock is already making me start to forgive you." "R-really? Are you sure?'' She asked breathily, feeling even closer now. "I-I'm going t-to.." her voice is getting unsteady now. He releases one of his hands from her wrists and moves it down to play with her clit. That does it for her. Daisy lets out one last loud moan and with one free hand quickly grabs his hair and pulls hard, as she releases all over his cock. For a moment Perseus enjoys how good it feels before getting there himself and immediately pulls out, cumming all over her breasts.
"That’s a good girl. You're still not forgiven; you still have many more sessions to go before I forgive you."
Perseus buttons his pants back up and walks out of the classroom.
Daisy lays there on the desk still a mess and in slight shock at what just happened. If I keep doing this, I’ll make it up to him. After all, I do deserve it… right?

Life was almost normal with Hoodie. You’d wake up, he’d bring you an omelette or scrambled eggs—it turns out that he enjoyed cooking—and he’d ask you if you were ready to talk. Your response had maintained the same throughout. You’d shake your head no, and try to insist on your innocence, which always led to him sighing, followed by a shrug of his shoulders. He’d then move on to sit in the chair he had across from the desk, a plush, cushioned chair. Far cozier than the one you were allowed to sit on. You could only sigh, knowing that chair was for him, not his prisoner.
Walking over to the bed, you lied down, your eyes floating upwards to the ceiling. If you shut your eyes, you could almost pretend that this was normal. You could allow yourself to feel the foam of the mattress sink underneath your weight, the blanket’s soft fabric brush against your bare legs, and the warmth of the oversized sweater covering your upper half.
Hoodie had gone out to buy you panties, like you had requested. It was appreciated, but it only reminded you of the fact that they really did intend to keep you here for a while.
The sunlight that shone in through the window felt warm and comforting on your skin. Masky usually kept the windows closed—he didn’t like the light. It really did almost feel normal, save for the weight of the metal cuff clasped around your ankle, and the jingle of chains that constantly followed you wherever you walked. It also didn’t help that you hadn’t been outside in quite some time, you had lost your sense of time, and neither of the two were kind enough to tell you how long you’d been here for. Perhaps it was for the better that you didn’t know.
“What are you reading?” you cautiously asked your captor, who was leaning into the side of the sofa chair, a book loosely held in his hands. He paused his reading, instead looking over towards you.
“Wuthering Heights.” he replied.
“I read that for English class.” you commented, and you didn’t mean for it to come out as judgemental, but it seemed to have, as his next response felt somewhat defensive to you.
“I enjoy classics.” he explained.
“I see.” you answered, unsure what else to reply, settling for simply acknowledging what he had said.
“Do you read?” he decided to ask you a question of his own. Hoodie didn’t talk often; he only spoke to you when it was necessary to. Masky, however, was far more talkative, although his words were solely there to demean and taunt you. You could appreciate a good conversation right now.
“Not really,” you admitted. “I mostly play video games in my spare time, if I’m honest.”
“What do you like to play?” You had to think about that question for a second.
“Well, I mostly play PC games nowadays,” you told him, “but I used to enjoy console games more. Stuff like Animal Crossing—oh, and I played a lot of Smash Bros with my friends back then.” You felt nostalgic at the thought of that. You played Smash often with Tim and Brian, and only with them. You were sure if they hadn’t disappeared, you’d still be playing to this day.
You heard him chuckle. You thought for a split second that he was making fun of you, maybe he thought your taste in games was too juvenile, but then he said, “I used to play that a lot too.”
You smiled, it was nice, the feeling of being able to relate. Even if it was to your kidnapper.
“Tell me about your family.” he requested, changing the topic of the conversation.
This had to be about the forest seal again. You’d gathered from a few things that Masky had said, that the symbol would have been passed down through your family, or something akin to that. But your family had nothing of the sort.
You felt disappointed, but irrationally so. Why did you ever expect someone who literally kidnapped you to have genuine interest in your life? From the very beginning, it was never about you, just what you supposedly knew.
He seemed to be able to read the displeased expression on your face, because he then said, “Hey, it’s not that I’m uninterested in what you have to say. I just also have to get the information I need. And if you genuinely don’t understand, like you’ve said, then I have to help you figure it out.” Right. Of course.
“Sure,” you sighed, “my parents are pretty normal people. My dad works a lot, so he isn’t home very often. Usually, he’s on some kind of business trip. My mom made up for it, though. As a kid, I spent a lot of time with her. Not so much after my late teenage years, but I think that’s pretty normal. Believe it or not, they never told me about anything related to a ‘symbol’, or a ‘forest seal.’” You noticed then that your tone had become rather passive aggressive, and you felt guilty, seeing as Hoodie hadn’t technically done anything wrong. The two of you were just talking.
You turned away from the man, choosing to instead look out the window. It was a good day outside, the sky bright and the clouds fluffy.
If only you could unclasp the chain from your ankle, or somehow take it off. You’d be able to jump out of that window, and then you’d have your freedom returned. Maybe I could knock him out, you thought. Maybe I could wait until he’s asleep, then steal the keys from his pocket. If you were careful enough to not rouse him from his sleep, you surely could do it. Even if he did wake up, as long as it was after you had unlocked the cuff, you’d still be able to escape. You just had to be fast.
Sometimes, you wondered if Hoodie could read minds. Now was one of those times.
“I don’t like having to be mean.” he began, and even through the black cloth covering his face, you could feel him looking directly at you, causing you to shiver. “I just want you to know that. But…” he reached into the pocket of his hoodie, and your eyes widened when you saw what he pulled out.
It was a gun. A small pistol.
You hadn’t known until now that it was there, and you froze instantly, instinctively. You watched in terror as he raised the gun, pointing the barrel directly at you.
“If you try to run, escape, or cause any kind of problems for me, it won’t end well.”
You were so afraid that you couldn’t even bring yourself to nod. You only stared at him with wide open eyes, until he lowered his arm, sliding the pistol back into his pocket.
“It’s not that I want to scare you,” he said, “but I need to make sure we’re clear on this.”
You could only nod.
He sighed, visibly frustrated. You weren’t sure why. You could only hope that his frustration wouldn’t be directed at you. Hoodie had been ‘kind’ with you, so to speak, but you had no idea if it was just a façade, or how long it would last for. You didn’t know if at any point, he would just snap and hurt you, or even worse—
You tried not to think about the gun.
It was only there as a safety measure, you told yourself. It was only if you acted up or caused any issues for him. You wouldn’t do that. You’d behave well like you have been doing so far, and nothing bad would happen to you. You’d make sure to behave. You’d be good.
Your captor sighed again. You noticed that he tended to sigh often, for unknown reasons. You were debating with yourself on whether you should ask him if something was wrong, perhaps try to get yourself on his good side as much as possible. As you were thinking, something caught your attention.
The creak of a door, accompanied by familiar footsteps. It could only be one other person.
Masky.
“How’s our princess doing?” he asked, walking in, making sure to lock the door behind him.
“Good afternoon to you too.” muttered Hoodie. “What is it?”
Masky chuckled darkly; this was already a bad sign. You sat up in the bed, bringing your knees close to your chest, hugging them tightly. You were already beginning to quiver, goosebumps prickling on the surface of your skin.
“I’m just here to have some fun with our little pet.” he snickered, his words instantly causing your heart to stop in your chest. “Well, actually, I had a brilliant idea, and I just couldn't wait to try it out.”
Hoodie had already stopped listening, his body turned away from the both of you, no longer watching the scene that was currently unfolding before him. You knew then that you were on your own. He wouldn’t intervene, but he never has before, so you’d be foolish to assume that this time would be different.
Tearfully, you cast a glance at Masky. In his hands were a roll of duct tape, likely the same one that had covered your mouth when you first awakened. He walked towards you, and at the same time you crawled backwards away from him, inch by inch until your back pressed against the wall. Masky then crawled onto the bed, slowly closing in on you, deliberately taking his time as he trapped you between himself and the wall.
“Why don’t you hold out your arms for me, sweetheart?”
You weren’t sure what to do. You didn’t want to just hand over yourself to him; you knew what he was about to inflict upon you would be nothing short of suffering. But what other choice did you have? You could maybe try to fight him right now, but then what? Best case scenario, he would beat you black and blue. Worst case scenario, Hoodie would pull out that pistol, point it to your head, and—
You held your arms out for him.
“Good girl.” he praised, evidently mocking you.
Masky pulled out some of the tape, wrapping it around your wrists, tightly binding them together. He then took hold of your free leg, bringing it close to the cuffed one before taping them together by the ankles. You were quickly rendered immobile with all your limbs bound, as he moved to push you towards the centre of the bed. Climbing on top of you, he straddled your waist, the weight of his body crushing down your hips as he held both of your arms above your head by the wrists with just one hand. With the other hand, he reached into his pant pocket, pulling out a small switchblade. Your eyes immediately widened in fear, and since your mouth was uncovered, you took advantage of that to beg him to stop.
“Please, Masky, no—” you cried out “don’t do this.”
He simply laughed in return, before asking, “Are you ready to talk then, princess?”
You went silent, knowing that there was nothing you could say to stop him at this point. Tears were already flowing down your face, and he hadn’t even grazed your skin yet.
“Sorry, darling.” he sniggered. “No can do.”
As soon as he said those words, he reached over to make a brief incision on your cheek, which instantly started to sting as you felt your salty tears mix with the blossoming droplets of blood, a concoction of blood and tears sliding down your cheek. You could feel the warmth of the liquid as it dripped down your face, painting it with a stream of red. You didn’t even have the time to plead with him again before he made another cut across the exposed skin of your collarbones, the blade of the knife quickly slicing through your tender flesh like butter. You hissed in pain, this time trying to rush words out of your mouth before he could cut down again.
“P-Please, please stop, I—” Masky didn’t waste time on letting you finish, he ignored your pleas and sliced down the front of your sweater—Hoodie’s sweater. You presumed that he didn’t care that it was his partner’s clothing. The fabric split open, as did the skin underneath, in form of a straight, vertical slit, starting from in between your collarbones and ending at your sternum. Blood was already soaking through the fabric of the sweater, and you felt feverishly sick just from the thought. You’d already firmly clamped your eyes closed, trying to shut out what was happening to you.
There was so much adrenaline coursing through you that the pain wasn’t yet so noticeable, but you could still hear the rip of the fabric, you could still feel the sharp sensation of the blade sliding across your chest. You hiccupped and gasped, your entire face stained with your tears, and from the corner of your sight you were able to see where the blood had smeared onto your nose.
You were able to successfully shut it out, pretend it wasn’t happening as Masky continued to drag the knife along your body, tearing through your skin at places random to you, but intentional and planned to him.
Masky went on for a while. How long, you weren’t sure. It definitely felt like an eternity had passed when he finally plunged the knife into your side, the fierce metal sinking into the softness of your flesh as you screeched in pain; not even the adrenaline was enough to save you from the agony of that stab. You cried out loudly, Masky cackling as he got off of you, climbing off the bed and standing back up on his feet.
“Nothing to say, still, sunshine?” he asked, and you didn’t bother responding, he already knew the answer. You sobbed earnestly as you squirmed in the bed, hands trying to reach for your side and stop the blood loss but the bindings preventing you from doing so.
“Well, that’s alright. I had my fun.” he continued laughing. “Thank you for the good time, princess.”
And with that, he left, leaving you to weep and bleed out over the once untainted bedsheets, now splattered with your blood. The sweater you had been dressed in was now shredded, reduced to mere tatters of fabric, and your eyes were bloodshot from crying, face puffy and flushed scarlet.
Eventually, after Masky had left, you saw Hoodie finally turn back around, getting up from where he had been silently sitting. He moved to exit the room, but it wasn’t long until he returned, carrying a few towels under his arm, and in his hands a plastic basin filled with water.
Placing both the items down on the nightstand, he opened another drawer, and from it took out a first aid kid.
None of this was improvised, you thought. They had planned to torture you for the information from the start. Why else would there be a first aid kit ready at his disposal?
Just how important could this information be? What information could be so vital that they had to abduct you, hold you hostage, and physically abuse you for?
Retrieving a pair of small scissors from the first aid kid, Hoodie began cutting through the duct tape that held your wrists together. You shifted your hands, slowly turning your wrists to get some blood circulation flowing in them, before dropping them back onto the bed. Following that, he took to cutting through his own sweater, a long vertical line that allowed the fabric to fall apart on each of your sides. You hadn’t gotten your bra back yet, so your chest was bare, but there was so much crimson that had been smeared over your skin that you didn’t feel entirely nude. Not that it mattered too much, Hoodie was simply here to treat your wounds, and any sense of shame you had was put to rest by knowing that you would at least get medical attention.
You laid there, exhausted, suffering—just watching Hoodie dip one of the towels in the basin of water, before squeezing some of the water back out. He dutifully began working on wiping away the sanguine liquids that sullied the surface of your skin, some of the incisions still oozing fresh red fluids. With a gentle hand, he took off the slick layer of blood that rested upon you, the white towel he was using slowly staining with red. You let the warmth of the water and softness of the towel sooth your skin, alternating between hisses of pain and sighs of relief each time he pressed it softly to your chest. It was a slow process, he’d clear off some of the blood, before returning the towel to the basin of water and rinsing the scarlet liquid out of the fabric. He repeated that each time he took off some blood, and slowly, layer by layer, he had erased the sticky fluid that had been coating your torso. You noticed that the basin of water no longer was clear, but instead a watered-down red.
After he was done with cleaning you up, he took out antiseptic wipes from the first aid kit, ripping the small packaging open.
“This is going to hurt.” he stated, and it did indeed. You instantly felt the burn wherever the wipe made contact with your wounds, along with the lingering sting even after it left your skin. You squirmed at his touches, whining in pain, causing Hoodie to mumble a quick ‘sorry’, but not straying from his work.
He then retrieved bandages and gauze from the first aid kit. Now done with the wipes, he discarded them aside and took to covering up your injuries, bandaging all the cuts that Masky had left you with. He repeated the same action for your cheek, first cleansing your face with the towel, then another antiseptic wipe, before putting a bandage over the laceration. It made no sense to you, the way he took care of you so tenderly, so carefully, when his own partner was the one who had inflicted these upon you to begin with.
“Why do you bother?” you asked, no paying any mind to whether you sounded ungrateful or not. “You can still interrogate me regardless of whether or not I’m bandaged.”
Hoodie shrugged his shoulders.
“Well, I can’t have you dying on me.” he explained. “Plus, I told you already. I’m not him. I have no reason to want to hurt you.”
“Neither does he,” you pointed out, “but he does it anyway.”
You could feel Hoodie staring at you, unmoving. It seemed to you like he was trying to think of a response, but ultimately, he said nothing.
Getting out of bed, he gathered up all the supplies, before turning towards the door.
“I’ll get you a new shirt.” he said, his voice once again taking on an apathetic tone.
You didn’t talk for the rest of the day.
You were lucky. You were lucky, you thought. You had spent the day with Masky—it was the day for them to swap again—and so far, you hadn’t been wounded in any way, shape, or form. However, he hadn’t eased up on you. You were still bound by rope, uncomfortably seated in the chair as he loomed over you.
You suspected that he simply changed tactics. Maybe he got bored of slapping you around, although you doubted that was the case. Instead, he seemed to have moved on to simply terrorizing you.
Once again, you heard the flock of his switchblade, as he pressed it to your throat for the fourth time that day. He trailed the sharp end against your skin, just enough so that you could feel the threat, but not enough to actually cut you. You kept yourself still as a statue, not wanting to accidentally nick yourself on the blade or worse, impale your neck on it.
“Say, princess,” Masky started, all the while trailing the tip of the knife alongside your jawline. “Hoodie’s awfully nice to you, isn’t he?”
He flicked the blade up and against your cheek. You could feel a slight sting, but you weren’t sure if it was just because the blade had pressed against the area where he last cut you, or if he had created a new wound. The bandage remained on, so you assumed that he hadn’t reopened the gash. You weren’t certain on how to respond to Masky though. He hated when you didn’t reply, in fact, he’d been doing this all day due to your refusal to speak to him.
“Oh, sunshine, you’re so stubborn today.” he taunted. “Just the other day you were crying and begging for me to stop— Please stop!” he made a shrill, high-pitched voice, in mimicry of how you sounded, mocking you. “And now today you won’t even talk to me.”
He finished his sentence with a dramatic sigh, as he simultaneously slid the blade from your cheek back down to your throat. Drawing swirls downwards, he let the blade rest at your collarbones, hovering just above your skin.
“Hoodie really has been treating you well though. Look at all these little bandages. How cute.” he sneered, suddenly bringing the knife up, sliding the sharp tip into the padding of the bandage, before he flicked his wrist, his switchblade picking up the bandage and ripping it off your face. The bandage, now unstuck from your skin, floated to the ground. You yelped in surprise, the blade being so close to your skin terrified you even though he hadn’t punctured anything yet.
“You wanna know something, princess?” he asked, a rhetorical question as always, snapping his knife shut and instead replacing it with his hand to your cheek. He brushed his thumb over the still healing slash on your cheek.
“I’m not even that mean. Hoodie’s just way too fucking nice to you. Guess he has a soft spot for your pretty little face, wouldn’t you agree?”
You continued to remain silent.
Masky then started putting more pressure on the wound, his thumb pressing into the still unhealed injury, causing a droplet of blood to break out of the newly split open gash, staining his finger. Bringing his hand to his face, he lifted his mask up sightly with his other hand, just enough to lick off the blood—your blood—that had been on his thumb.
“Unfortunately for you, I’m not as soft as him. Unlike him, I’m able to actually do my job, and not turn into a fucking pussy the second some girl starts crying.” he snapped, his mood violently shifting for the worse.
“And you wanna know something else—” (you did not) “—it’s been really fucking pissing me off. The better he is to you, the worse I want to treat you.” You gulped. Your pulse picked up speed in anticipation of what he was to do next. Masky’s treatment of you was already abhorrent, but it had always been out of his amusement, mild frustration at most. You had never seen him genuinely angry, and you suspected he was bordering it right now.
You felt the temperature in the room drop, chilling you to the core and sending a shiver running down your spine. You quivered, unsure what he was about to do next.
Shutting your eyes, you couldn’t do anything but wait there, trembling against your bindings. You braced yourself for pain, for perhaps something to strike, to stab, to hurt you—
But nothing came.
Hesitantly, you opened your eyes. Masky was still standing where he stood before.
“Whoops, did I scare you, darling?” he tauntingly questioned. “I just love that terrified expression of yours.” You listened, frightened, as his voice took on an even darker tone. “I just want to keep seeing it.”
But then he paused, and he stepped back.
“Unluckily for me, and luckily for you, princess, I’m actually quite tired. I’ll be going to bed.”
And then he suddenly turned away from you, walking over to the bed and lying down on it, making himself comfortable. You felt the tension in your shoulders release, as you leaned backwards into the chair, trying to catch your breath and calm your breathing.
You weren’t sure how long you sat there for, just looking out the window, wondering just what you could’ve done for God to curse you with this fate. This could only be explained with you having committed a multitude of sins in a past life, or something of the sort. But you didn’t believe in God, nor did you believe in having a past life. You were simply misfortunate.
Indeed, you were truly misfortunate. Your thoughts were confirmed when you began feeling the first of your joints start to ache from having remained seated in the same position for so long. Your extremities were growing numb, on the verge of falling asleep, yet you were unable to get up. Your ankles were still bound together as per the usual circumstances with Masky, and you knew you would fall the second you’d try to get up. And with your hands tied behind your back, you wouldn’t be able to get back up, either.
You didn’t have much of a choice, you’d need to call for Masky, in hopes that he’d untie you and allow you to get some rest as well. You knew he was still awake—you could hear him type on his laptop that he had at some unknown point brought into this room. The thought of the laptop inadvertently made you come to the realization of just how much you missed your friends. You hadn’t been able to type to them in God knows how long. They were likely worried sick about you. And your parents—
You hadn’t even thought about your parents until now. You hadn’t had the time to think about much besides your own safety and wellbeing, but now that the thought appeared in your mind, it persisted, and you were unable to rid it, although you didn’t really try to, either.
The thought of your parents caused an overwhelming sense of sorrow and despair to sink upon you. You were sure that your parents must’ve been suffering. They for sure knew by now that you hadn’t just gone for a longer walk than usual, nor had you gotten upset over something and run off, like you had done a few times in the past. They for sure knew by now that something horrible must’ve happened to you, and there was no possibility in which they’d be handling it well.
You remembered just how worried they had been when Tim and Brian disappeared. They’d been restless, constantly checking up with their parents, the police, and anyone and everyone that could possibly have any leads on the case. And now that it was you, their own flesh and blood, you were sure that the situation was tearing them apart. You recalled the anguish and heartbreak Tim and Brian’s parents were going through at the time of losing their children, and it pained you to even think about your parents suffering in the same way. You wanted to text them, call them, anything just so they would know that you’re still alive, that you’re okay—at least to some extent.
God, you just wanted to talk to them. You just wanted to have some kind of contact with anyone, just anyone besides these two monsters holding you captive.
“Masky?” you called out, trying to take your thoughts away from the horrific idea of how your own parents must be absolutely wrecked right now.
“At your service, princess.” Masky’s sarcastic words briefly broke through your moping. He was sat up on his bed, laptop placed to the side, waiting for what you had to say.
“Can you untie me please?” you asked, subserviently. “I need to get to bed.”
Despite how cruel he had already been to you, he still managed to catch you off guard with his next sentences.
“Do you now?” he asked. “Well, if you need to so badly, then why don’t you beg for it and maybe I’ll consider it?”
Tears, hot and full of humiliation prickled at the corner of your eyes. Curse him, you thought, seething. Curse him.
Not only was he physically abusing you, but now he wanted to emotionally abuse you, humiliate you, as well? You considered just staying in your chair. But the chance of you being able to fall asleep here was slim, and you desperately coveted sleep—it was the only time where you could escape the harshness of your reality.
“Please.” you mumbled, barely audible.
“Sorry sweetheart, didn’t quite catch that. What did you say?” You fucking hated this man.
“Please.” you said, this time louder.
“Please what, princess?” he was truly determined on making a joke out of your pride, out of you.
“Please... Please let me get in bed.” you whimpered, the tears of shame and fury that had welled up in your eyes now threatening to spill over. You held them back this time; you didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of seeing you cry, not after having disgraced you like this.
“You can do better than this. I’ve heard you beg before.” the masked man continued to taunt you.
Don’t cry, you thought.
Don’t cry. “Please let me get in bed, Masky. I’m begging you, please, I just want to sleep.”
Don’t cry. Masky finally got up, swinging his legs over the side of the bed and walking over to you. Roughly grabbing you by your shoulders and your knees, he picked you up in his arms, carrying you over to the bed and placing you down on the mattress.
Don’t cry. You rolled over to the other side of the bed, putting yourself as far away as you could from him.
Don’t cry. You were still tied up, your limbs crying for a release that they wouldn’t receive. You had to try to fall asleep in your restricted state, your body still tightly bound as you managed to rest your head on the pillow. The blanket was just underneath your legs, but you were unable to grab it and pull it over your body. You had already begged Masky to simply allow you to be in bed, you knew he’d make you do it again for the blanket, so you grit your teeth, and resigned to having to sleep without it.
Don’t cry. You buried your face into the pillow, not making a sound as your tears soaked into the flimsy fabric.

This Game of Yours
Father of Mine – Part 1 and Part 2
Tumblr media
Jason was beautiful.
And somehow that scar that went from the right corner of his mouth up to his temple only made him that much more beautiful to Y/N.
Those blue eyes were the same color of water on a stormy day in the Irish sea. And somehow Y/N knew they held the same tempestuousness.
The white streak weaved with his jet black hair so naturally that Y/N would’ve believed he was born with it.
His shoulders were so broad, making his 6’3 height feel even more imposing. He had a presence. People noticed every time he walked into a room. It made Y/N wonder how he was ever able to sneak up on people as Red Hood.
He was wearing a black hoodie underneath his black moto jacket.
Y/N knew Jason didn’t give a shit about fashion. Yet he was well-dressed without any effort – more so than most of the models Y/N had shot throughout her career.
Not being able to control herself any longer, Y/N raised her camera and took a photo.
Jason stopped surveying their surroundings and his gaze snapped to her.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
But his growl didn’t scare her in the slightest.
“Anyone who’s by me when I have a camera is at risk of getting their picture taken. No one is safe. Not even you,” she answered his question unapologetically.
Y/N was working on a personal passion project for her next show. Her collection would be about the poverty and crime of Gotham. Half of the photos would show the heaviest crime areas of the city. And the other half would expose the lifestyles of the wealthiest people in Gotham.
Why did so many suffer from the same system that helped the rich get even richer?
When Bruce found out Y/N was going to Crime Alley and the Bowery by herself, he was visibly upset.
But he realized that Y/N would do as she pleased, so his plan b was to give her protective detail.
However, Y/N didn’t know that Jason had volunteered, almost immediately.
Instead, all she heard was Jason grimly telling her, “You’re lucky you haven’t been fucking murdered yet.”
She had only responded with a roll of her eyes.
“I’m not your escort so you can take my picture. I’m here so you don’t get raped or murdered.”
“Has anyone ever told you that you have a way with words?”
His only response was a glare.
Jason loved playing this game. The game of pretending to be irritated with her when actually he was absolutely infatuated with Y/F/N Y/L/N.
“The easiest way to stop getting your picture taken is to always be the one holding the camera,” Y/N added with a smirk and wink.
Jason didn’t answer, only thinking what a shame it was that no one got to photograph her.
Suddenly, the sunlight hit the top of his head perfectly, creating a halo around that thick and messy hair of his.
Y/N snapped another photo.
“Will you stop?” He warned.
It only succeeded in making her laugh.
And that just excited his heart even more.
“Jason, you were born to get your photo taken.”
There was no joke underneath her words, only sincerity.
“Whatever,” he mumbled.
Jason had a hard time believing that. His skin was riddled with scars. And he was convinced that she’d be singing a different song if she saw his chest, with its thick autopsy scar amongst the so many others. The absolute last word he’d use to describe himself was beautiful. Strong and imposing? Yes. But never beautiful – or any other positive adjective, for that matter.
“I’m not kidding. If you ever want to stop the whole vigilante thing, you can easily become a model.”
Y/N had noticed it as soon as Jason took of his helmet that night. His domino mask had done nothing to prevent her from noting the obvious.
It didn’t take long for Y/N to realize Jason wasn’t like his “brothers.”
“Brothers.” What a strange word.
Should she consider all of them as hers?
Only Damian was actually related to her – and technically he was only her half-brother.
Y/N had watched Jason get on his motorcycle and leave the cave that night she’d almost died.
She’d agreed to stay for dinner and get to know everyone. And a part of her brain was excited to get a better read on the masked man that sat by her bedside as she’d recovered.
“He’s not staying?” Y/N had asked Bruce as he guided her to the stairs that led back up to the manor.
He only shook his head, but she noticed the disappointed expression.
Soon she found out that Jason was the black sheep of this strange family that had taken her in.
Dick was the one who told her about Jason’s dark past. All of it seemed unbelievable: murdered by Joker and brought back to life from a mysterious pit. Only to return to the family who appeared to have replaced him and never sought vengeance on Jason’s behalf.
But it was true; Y/N had seen no lie in Dick’s eyes when he filled her in.
Suddenly there was yelling coming from around the corner.
Without hesitation, Jason shoved Y/N behind him.
He reached for one of his guns and then realized that he didn’t have any.
Y/N was rather vocal about hating them, claiming they made her extremely uncomfortable.
Her expression alone as she said it was enough for Jason to swallow his stubbornness and leave the things at home.
Bruce was rather taken aback by the gesture. Nothing he’d ever said was enough to get Jason to do that.
A gang of young men came marching around the corner like they owned the place…because they did. This was their territory.
Jason immediately recognized them as some of the Russian mob.
Despite pulling Y/N behind him, they still caught sight of her and looked her up and down without an ounce of shame.
“Hey, beautiful. How you doing?”
“Продолжай идти, придурки,” Jason growled at them.
He was outnumbered. But there must’ve been something about his body language that made the gang realize they shouldn’t pick a fight with him. Maybe it was the muscles or his height or that he looked like he wouldn’t even blink before murdering them.
So they just…walked away. Some of them mumbled threats or insults at him. But they realized they shouldn’t even so much as look at Y/N.
A split second before they were gone, Y/N took a picture of Jason.
“Really?” He asked.
She shrugged. “You look like a different person when you’re protective.”
Tumblr media
Y/N was beautiful.
Jason watched as she passionately explained her work to a potential buyer.
He recognized the man as a local politician – luckily, one of the few that hadn’t been corrupted from this shitty city.
Y/N had the intimidating energy of her father, but the kind eyes of her mother. At least, that was what Bruce had told everyone, and they all took his word for it.
She wore a stylish white jumpsuit that made her look like a 1980s villain and black stiletto heels.
Jason watched as men cowered in her presence, hating the fact that she proudly stood taller than them. She was just one less woman they could intimidate or manipulate – and they couldn’t stand it.
But Jason loved watching the emasculation in real time.
The bastards didn’t deserve her anyway.
Dick was one of the very few men Jason knew who didn’t blink at a woman towering over him. In fact, his older brother had a track record of preferring it.
“Surprised to see you here,” Bruce said beside him, catching Jason watching Y/N.
“Well, I was her personal bodyguard through all this. Figured I should see if it was worth me wasting my time or not.” Then he tossed back his champagne and slammed it on the tray of a waiter passing by. “Plus, free alcohol.”
Bruce just quirked an eyebrow, silently telling Jason that he knew he was lying.
“Are you buying something?” Jason asked, trying to change the subject.
“I have been strictly forbidden,” Bruce sighed.
Jason chuckled.
He knew if Bruce had his way, he’d buy every single on of Y/N’s pieces.
“I have to know,” Bruce began. “What exactly is holding you back?”
Jason finally ripped his gaze away from Y/N to give Bruce a questioning look.
“What are you talking about?”
“Y/N. You care about her.”
“All of us do,” Jason brushed off. “Even the demon spawn.”
Bruce knew there wasn’t a chance Jason would admit his feelings – especially to him.
“Not that I think you care…but you have my approval.”
Little did Bruce know, Jason did care.
Jason had convinced himself that their rocky relationship and past fights meant that Bruce would die before he let Jason be anywhere near his daughter.
And Jason could hardly blame him.
He didn’t deserve to be loved. He lost that right after he died and came back a monster. And that was the story Jason told himself over and over again.
So he would love Y/N from afar. And hope she would pick someone who was worthy of her love.
“She’s basically my sister,” Jason groaned in fake disgust.
It was quite the performance.
Bruce narrowed his eyes. “We both know that isn’t what’s stopping you. And you’ve made it clear you don’t consider us your family.”
“Whatever, Bruce.”
Jason walked away, having enough of the subject.
“What was that about?” Clark asked as he joined Bruce’s side.
“Jason refusing to let himself be happy,” Bruce sighed.
Clark already knew what Bruce was talking about. He’d seen Y/N and Jason dancing around each other for months now. He’d never really seen Y/N take an interest in anyone before, so it was all new for Clark.
“Don’t worry. Y/N won’t let him get away with it for much longer,” Clark said through a smirk. “She gets what she wants.”
And Bruce believed him.
“It doesn’t bother you – the two of them together?” Clark asked with genuine curiosity.
“Jason reminds me every day that I’m not his father. And I’m hardly Y/N’s.” A soft smile formed on Bruce’s lips. “He’ll look after her. And she…I think she’d be good for him. I just want them to be happy. Both of them.”
——
Jason headed home rather early.
He’d never actually went to say congratulations or even hello to Y/N.
Every time he was about to go over, someone else stole her attention. He didn’t want to get in the way of her talking to potential buyers or even just friends.
Jason was just about to make himself something to eat when there was a knock at his door.
He froze.
Very few people knew where his apartment was.
Jason grabbed a gun and tiptoed to his front door.
With a peak through the peephole, he let out a irritated sigh.
Jason whipped the door open, “You’re lucky I didn’t shoot your head off.”
“Maybe don’t own guns and you wouldn’t have to worry about shit like that,” Y/N snapped back.
“What are you doing here?”
“You come to my gallery opening and don’t even say hi?” Y/N accused as she stepped around him and into the apartment, not waiting for an invitation.
Jason eyed the paper bag that was in one of her hands.
“By all means, come on in,” he called sarcastically as he slammed the door behind her.
Y/N started searching through his cabinets. “Where are your glasses?”
“The one to your right. What are you doing here?”
Y/N had the brightest and almost mischievous smile as she pulled a bottle of champagne from the paper bag.
“I brought this as my thanks for you making sure I don’t – and I quote – ‘get raped and murdered.’”
Jason glared at her.
Here was the game again.
Y/N being charming and hilariously provoking..and Jason pretending like he hadn’t fallen for her.
She poured them both a glass. They weren’t flutes or coupes, but she couldn’t care less.
“We’re chugging these, by the way,” Y/N informed Jason as she handed him a glass.
He sighed, but obediently clinked his glass with hers and tossed it back.
Barely giving them a second, Y/N immediately refilled them.
“So, why didn’t you come over and say hi?” She repeated.
“Didn’t want to bother you,” Jason mumbled with a shrug.
She narrowed her eyes at his answer. “You’ve never bothered me before, Jason.”
Now he felt guilty.
Jason bowed his head. “I should’ve come and talked to you,” he agreed. “Your work…it looked – it’s amazing, Y/N. Congratulations.”
Apparently Y/N hadn’t expected such a sincere compliment from him, and she was stunned to silence.
“Thank you,” she managed to whisper once she’d recovered.
She cleared her throat, trying to maintain her edge. “And really…thank you for being my own little security detail.”
If Jason was healthy about expressing is thoughts and feelings, he would’ve told her that it was the highlight of his weeks. That he looked forward to her calls or texts, telling him that she was going to photograph another shady area. “Be there or don’t. I’m going no matter what,” she’d text him with her usual snark.
But Jason didn’t express his thoughts and feelings.
He kept them bottled up – with the same energy he used to keep Y/N at a distance.
So instead, Jason said, “If it wasn’t me, one of the others would’ve done it.”
Y/N winced slightly at that.
‘You’re such a fucking asshole,’ Jason told himself.
“You know…we can see each other even you’re not my bodyguard.”
Jason was impressed by her boldness. But she didn’t know what she was doing. She didn’t understand that he wasn’t good. He couldn’t play the loving boyfriend role. She belonged with someone like Dick or Clark – or literally anyone but him. And Jason was willing to be an asshole to make sure she understood that.
Y/N took a step closer to him, invading his personal space.
Without breaking eye contact, she threw back her second glass of champagne and then placed it on the nearest counter space.
She stepped even closer.
This was simultaneously Jason’s worst nightmare and most desired dream.
Her eyes moved from his eyes to his lips.
But before she could make her final push, Jason took a step back and cleared his throat.
He looked down at the ground as he said, “You should go.”
When he looked up, he expected to find Y/N heartbroken or embarrassed.
But she was neither.
No. She looked irritated.
Not because she wasn’t getting what she wanted, but because she was sick of his games.
Y/N sighed and stepped back. “Fine.”
Jason rubbed his face in frustration as she grabbed her purse and started for the door she had walked through only minutes ago.
She opened it and paused.
“You know what? No. Fuck that,” Y/N snapped before slamming the door closed.
She whipped around and strutted back to him with purpose.
Jason was suspended with both fervor and awe.
Y/N grabbed his face and pulled him down to her lips.
All self control went out the window. Jason couldn’t continue his game. It was all over for him.
He kissed her back almost immediately. How could he not?
Y/N bit his lip slightly, making him hiss in surprise. It was his punishment for making her wait all this time.
Eventually they needed a moment to breathe.
But Y/N didn’t let go of his face when their lips finally parted.
“Choose your next words very carefully,” she breathed.
He swallowed nervously. “You’re kind of fucking terrifying. You know that?”
Her smile was pure evil.
Apparently this was the right response.
“Are you done being an idiot?” She asked.
He nodded quickly.
Her hands moved down and then lingered on his neck, tracing the bottom lines of his jaw.
She smiled again and then looked him up and down.
“What?” He questioned.
“Nothing,” she laughed. “I’m just…I’m not used to being shorter than men.”
“Is that the only reason you like me? Huh? My height?” Jason goaded.
“Of course not,” Y/N scoffed. “It was the whole ‘I look like I could murder everyone and I can, but deep down I’m a big softie’ that did it for me.”
Jason’s grip tightened on her waist. “Oh, yeah? You’re one to talk…”
“Me?!” She yelped. “I couldn’t kill anyone, even if my life depended on it.”
“Maybe. But your terrifying in basically every other way.”
Y/N laughed at that.
Jason couldn’t stop himself from smiling at the sound
“So…still want me to leave?” She asked.
And this time, she would if that’s really what he wanted.
“Fuck no,” Jason answered, almost threateningly.
Then, for good measure, he picked her up by the back of her thighs and carried her to the couch, before he started to kiss her once again.
Y/N knew things weren’t always going to be this simple.
Jason had his demons.
And honestly, so did she. They were nothing like his. And maybe they were silly in comparison. But she wouldn’t be the perfect partner. Just like he wouldn’t be.
They’d drive each other crazy. But it would be the good kind of crazy.

MY BROTHERS FRIEND (PART THREE)
Pairing: Tommy Shelby x Reader
Warning: Smut, Angst, Mention of Attempted Rape, Blood, Violence
Words: 5230
-----------
Pantry Time
It has been two weeks since you agreed to marry Joseph Kruger, just as Tommy had requested, and today was the day of your engagement party.
You had only met Joseph once and you were fairly certain that he was not interested in marrying you just as you weren’t interested in marrying him. In fact, you didn’t believe that he was interested in women at all. He was attractive and had good manners. There was no reason for him not to be married already at his age.
His four brothers on the other hand were savages. You had encounters with them before and you could understand why Tommy wouldn’t trust them.
You still were unsure what Tommy’s plan was but, for some reason, you trusted him and played a long.
As such, you attended the engagement party willingly and with a smile across your face. The smile wasn’t because of the marriage proposal, but because you knew that you would see Tommy again. It has been a week since you last seen him and had a chance to be intimate with him.
There was no denying it, you were falling for him and it was painfully sweet. There was no future for you and him, but yet you tried to deny this fact and dreamed about being with him, one day.
Your father didn’t know about your involvement with Tommy. He certainly wouldn’t approve.
Arthur walked in on you once, but kept the secret. Lizzie and Polly had their suspicions, but no more than that.
‘You look beautiful Y/N’ Tommy said quietly as he approached you from behind with a smile across his face.
‘Good Evening Tommy’ you said, equally happy to see him.
Tommy was joined by his sister Ada and took the time to engage into some conversation with you as you were getting to know Joseph Kruger.
You played the game well, getting to know all of Joseph’s family and pretending to show a genuine interest in him.
Even Tommy was impressed by your skills of deception.
After your initial encounter with Tommy that evening, you didn’t see much of him and were rather disappointed until, finally, he asked you to dance after the jazz band began to play.
‘I missed you’ he whispered as he was leading you to the dancefloor.
‘I missed you too Tommy’ you whispered in return, following his lead.
You were terrible at dancing and Tommy was well aware of that. You tried hard to maintain a conversation with Tommy without falling over your own two feet.
‘Come with me’ Tommy said with a chuckle about your efforts to not injure yourself.
‘Tommy, we cannot be seen together. You know that’ you said with a slight worry.
‘They are all drunk and dancing, no one will notice us gone’ Tommy smirked as he took your hand and you followed him through the crowd.
He walked with you up the corridor towards a room at the end of the hallway.
Tommy opened the door of the mysterious room and swiftly pushed you inside before closing the door behind him.
Within seconds, Tommy’s hand reaches behind your head and he pulled you to him for a passionate kiss.
‘Tommy, this is the pantry’ you said as you took a quick breath.
‘And? Food has been served. No one will come looking in here’ Tommy smirked before leaning in for another desperate kiss.
‘Did I already tell you that I missed you’ he whispered as his hands made their way over your breasts.
‘You did’ you said, biting your lip and running your hand in between his leg over his already hard cock, poking beneath his pants.
‘Good’ he said just before you exchanged one more passionate and urgent kiss before you turned around and Tommy bent you over the small table inside the pantry.
You both wished that you had more time but you were certain that people would be looking for the bride to be any time soon.
Tommy stood behind you, lifted up your dress and pulled down your panties. He undid his belt, button and fly and pushed his pants and underwear down halfway to his knees, freeing his engorged arousal.
Crouching a little, he placed the head of his cock against the hottest spot underneath your naked bum. He lifted upwards and he could feel your treasure open up and slowly absorb the top two inches of his hard cock.
‘Hmm Tommy’ you moaned quietly as he grabbed your soft hips.
Tommy pushed himself up inside you. Inch after inch invaded your intense heat and with one final and hard push he was inside of you all the way. An inferno engulfed him, squeezing around his entire length.
‘Oh god Tommy’ you moaned, closing your eyes and arching your head back.
‘You feel so fucking good’ Tommy groaned as he kissed the back of your neck.
Holding your hips, he began sliding in and out of you from behind, his groin gently slapping against your ass.
His thrusts soon became harder and faster and you loved the feeling of his hard member poking against the depths of your core again and again.
As he was increasing his speed, Tommy ran his hands over your soft belly, holding the flesh for a moment as he slid into her heat over and over.
He then slid his hands further up your body and cupped your breasts over your dress while kissing the skin on the back of your neck. He wanted to kiss your mouth -- badly.
He pulled his cock out of you and you quickly spun around before stepping out of your panties.
Tommy lifted up your dress before lifting up one of your legs and leaning your back against the table.
Tommy kissed you passionately as you ran your hand over his cheek. Then he entered you again and you both watched intently as he placed the head of his cock against your entrance.
‘Fuck’ Tommy moaned as he watched you open up for him and allow his hard cock to squeeze inside of you, inch by inch.
Your heat slowly embraced him, welcoming him. He thrust forward, jamming his entire manhood inside of you.
Holding himself against you, Tommy looked down at your beautiful face as he began thrusting in and out of you.
Tommy slipped his arms around your back and you stopped leaning back on your elbows and put your arms around his neck. Breathing heavily, your eyes mere slits as you were in ecstasy, your lips found his and you kissed him deeply.
Your tongue shot into his mouth hungrily as he continued to thrust into you deeply.
Tommy then sent his own tongue deep into your mouth, thrusting in and out of you even faster. Your tightness pulled at him, coaxing him.
Tommy continued to thrust up into you as hard as he could a few more times, kissing you equally as hard.
‘Tommy, don’t stop’ you moaned loudly, feeling your orgasm approaching.
Your walls clenched around him and Tommy could feel his engorged shaft pulsing.
Just as you let out another loud moan as your orgasm washed over you and your body began to shake, Tommy released. His sticky rope of hot cum shot out the end of his manhood and into your hungry treasure.
You could feel the warmth inside of you as you exchanged a passionate kiss while you both were coming down from your high.
‘I fucking missed this’ Tommy said as he pulled out of you carefully.
‘As did I’ you smiled as you pulled your panties up beneath your dress.
‘But we better get back to the party’ you said as you fixed up your hair.
‘I am sure your father is ready and waiting to make a speech’ Tommy said before giving you another kiss, causing you to smile. There was some sudden awkwardness between you.
You both straightened yourself up and you opened the pantry door carefully.
Just as Tommy opened the door, Finn approached.
‘Finn’ Tommy said surprised just as Finn barged inside. He must have stood there for a while and listened to your sweet moans.
‘It’s not what it looks like Finn’ Tommy said just as you were speechless, starring at them both.
‘Oh yeah? Isn’t it?’ Finn said angrily. ‘Out of all women in this town Tommy… you are my fucking brother’ Finn added.
‘Finn, listen to me…’ Tommy said as Finn walked off.
Tommy followed Finn while you had to return to the party so that you wouldn’t raise any suspicions.
After you joined your father and Joseph for a thank you speech, you hadn’t had another chance to speak to Tommy or Finn and were worried about if and how Tommy managed to resolve the issue.
Trouble Ahead
Without the air having been cleared between Tommy and Finn and Tommy largely ignoring Finn’s feelings, Tommy called a meeting between the brothers and Uncle Charlie, without the presence of Polly.
With his plan, he went behind Polly’s back and he needed man power to take over the Kruger’s family business. As one would expect, he trusted his brothers to keep his plan a secret from others.
The meeting took place at Uncle Charlie’s junk yard and went on for about an hour. Arthur was in favour of Tommy’s plan while Finn and Uncle Charlie considered the plan to be too dangerous. Nonetheless, they agreed to follow Tommy’s orders.
After his meeting with Tommy, Arthur and Uncle Charlie, Finn downed his anger with Whiskey and cocaine at the Garrison where, later that evening, he met a young woman named Esmeralda.
With ignorance and naiveness, he confided in Esmeralda. He told her what happened between you and his brother Thomas and how upset he was about it. He considered you to be the love of his life which Tommy has now taken away from him.
Finn also told Esmeralda about Tommy’s plan. Finn was of the view that Tommy was using you for his own advantage, ignoring the fact that Finn had strong feelings for you.
Little did Finn know that Esmeralda knew the Kruger Family and that, soon, word would come to Manual Kruger, Joseph’s father.
And, as it happened, after Esmeralda comforted Finn for the night, she arranged a meeting with Manuel Kruger and his brother.
During this meeting, Esmeralda explained that Tommy was liaising with Joseph in order to take over the Kruger’s Family Business, making Joseph an acquaintance of the Peaky Blinders.
What you and Finn didn’t know was that Joseph Kruger despised his father and uncle and had been gathering men for two years now to work against them. But Esmeralda was very well aware of the situation and so was Tommy.
For many years, Joseph had been discriminated against by his own father and uncle because of his sexual orientation. He was excluded from family dealings and his brothers worked against him. However, neither of them realised that Joseph did, in fact, have strong ties to certain night club owners in London which was perfect for the distribution of narcotics.
Of course, Tommy saw the potential in this. It was a win win situation for him to help Joseph to take out his father, uncle and brothers and work with him to distribute cocaine throughout London’s nightclubs. In addition, the need for marriage between your family and the Kruger family would be diminished.
It was clear to Esmeralda that this information would create a war between the Shelby family and the Kruger family and this was exactly what she wanted to achieve.
She had a vested interest in seeing the Shelbys lose their fortune. After all, it was Arthur Shelby who killed her brother in a boxing match several years ago. What she wanted was revenge. But of course, Finn didn’t know that, nor did he know that he had put your life in danger when he told Esmeralda about your romantic involvement with his brother and his brother’s plan.
Later that evening, unbeknownst to you, you were to realise how dire this situation had become. The Kruger family was determined to send a message to both, your father and Tommy.
That evening, just as you said goodbye to Tommy and walked out of the office building, you noticed both lights on the street were broken.
This was unusual but you didn’t think anything about it until you also noticed a blood-stained hat on the pavement outside.
‘Karl?’ you spoke loudly. Karl was the man who normally drove you home and, usually, he would already been waiting for you at the front door.
You walked around the corner, following the stains on the pavement.
‘Karl?’ you asked again until, all of a sudden, you stumbled over something. As you looked down, you noticed Karl’s dead body, blood running from his head and chest.
‘Oh my god’ you said, shivers running over your back as you stepped backwards until, all of a sudden, you were grabbed by a man from behind.
‘Shh Love’ the man laughed as he covered your mouth while you tried to escape his strong hold on you.
‘Miss Gold, what a lovely surprise’ another man said as, all of a sudden, a total of three more men approached you from each corner of the street.
‘We know about your man’s plan Love’ the attacker then went onto say as he stood right in front of you, running his dirty hands over your blouse.
You tried hard to escape and reach for your gun in your bag, but the men held onto you tightly.
‘I think it’s time for us to send him and your father a little message’ one of the men said just as he ripped open your blouse.
By that time tears were running down your face and you tried to kick your legs up in protest.
‘You know Love, we will all take our turn and it will be over quick if you hold still, yeah?’ he went on to say just as you leaped out and kicked him into his crotch with your heels.
‘You fucking bitch’ he yelled as he reached for your skirt. In this moment you took your chance and bit harshly into the hand of the man who was restraining you while continuing to kick your legs forward.
‘Tommy’ you yelled loudly as your mouth was freed for a brief second, knowing that he was still in the office.
But, the men wouldn’t back off and began to further tare on your clothes while holding you back down, letting you scream for help.
‘No one is coming Love’ one of the men said as he began kissing your neck.
Just as you felt the man’s tongue run over your ear and heard him unbuckling his belt, you heard a shot.
‘Get the fuck off her’ Tommy yelled harshly, firing again.
The next thing you saw was blood streaming down the pavement. One of the men had been shot into his knee. It was dark and difficult for Tommy to aim.
With a limited view, Tommy approached the attackers while they briefly halted their assault on you.
‘Mr Shelby, nice of you to join us. You can watch while we fuck your little girlfriend’ one of the men said as, suddenly, Tommy could feel a knife against his neck from one of the other men.
With one of the men on the ground and the other keeping Tommy at bay, the other two proceeded with their plan as they tore apart your skirt, leaving your underwear exposed to them.
‘Now Love, we will continue where we left of and your boyfriend gets to watch us’ the man said as he pulled down his pants.
You continued to scream in protest as the man was trying to push down your panties.
Just as he grabbed hold of the hem, you heard a loud scream coming from the man standing behind Tommy.
As you looked over, you observed Tommy slamming a large and sharp piece of metal from the floor besides him into the man’s throat.
You took this opportunity to reach for your gun in your purse and, within a split second, you shot the man who, at this point, still had hold of your panties.
This allowed you to free yourself but, as you stepped backwards, you fell down to the floor. You had never shot someone before and were in shock, trembling at the sight of the dead man in front of you.
By the time you collected your thoughts, Tommy had already shot the other man who attacked you. It was almost like an execution, without mercy. Tommy’s face expressionless.
Tommy decided not to kill the fourth man but, instead, shot him into his other knee so that he couldn’t run away. He was to be questioned and then used to send a message to the Kruger Family.
‘Are you alright?’ Tommy asked as he raced over to you and placed his jacket around your half naked body.
You nodded while you were shivering and crying and your heart was pounding.
‘You are safe now’ Tommy said as he took you into his arms.
His white shirt was stained with blood and he had a large cut on his neck that would soon need some attention. But for now, he just wanted to comfort you.
With the man screaming in pain across the pavement, it wasn’t long for police to arrive.
Tommy didn’t leave your side as police assessed the scene.
‘What would you like us to do with this one Mr Shelby?’ the policeman asked after he instructed his other men to clean up the scene.
‘Take him to 5 Birmingham Avenue and chain him up. I will deal with him later’ Tommy said, causing the policeman to nod while Tommy helped you up from the pavement.
‘Common, let’s get you cleaned up ey?’ Tommy said as he walked you to his car, covering as much of your naked flesh as he could with his jacket.
Tommy helped you inside of his Bentley, which is when you noticed his wound. It was draining a lot of blood down his neck.
‘Tommy, you are hurt’ you said, looking at him concerned.
‘It’s just a scratch Y/N’ Tommy smirked as placed some pressure onto his open wound before driving off.
You didn’t know where he was taking you until he pulled up in front of a large house.
Love and Desire
‘Where are we?’ you asked.
‘My house. You will be safe here’ Tommy said as he parked the car.
Two maids were waiting for you as you walked inside the house. They must have seen the car pull up.
‘Mr Shelby, are you alright?’ Francis asked concerned.
‘Yes Francis. Could you please look after Ms Gold for me while I make a phone call?’ Tommy asked while he continued to press onto his wound firmly with his hands.
‘Yes Mr Shelby, of course. Shall I arrange a bath?’ Francis asked as you were clearly covered in mud and dirt.
‘Yes please. And some clean clothes and whatever else she needs’ Tommy said.
‘I do not think that we have clothes other than…’ Francis said and, before she could finish her sentence, Tommy interrupted her.
‘My wife’s clothes should fit her’ Tommy said.
‘Of course, Mr Shelby’ Francis responded before she helped you upstairs.
Francis ran a bath for you before she helped you undress and get rid of your dirty clothes.
She was kind and welcoming, almost like a mother.
As you then finally sank into the bath you could feel your bruised skin burn. Your legs hurt terribly and small cuts were covering your arms and knees.
Francis gave you some privacy at this point. But she had also given you three nightgowns to choose from before she left and prepared the guestroom for you.
You soaked in the bath for at least 20 minutes and scrubbed your skin. You felt disgusted and embarrassed.
When you stepped out of the bath, you dried yourself off with the soft white towel that Francis had given you before putting on one of the nightgowns. It was white, made out of soft and shiny satin. It covered some of your bruises but not all.
As you walked outside the bathroom, you could hear grunts coming from the kitchen.
You followed the noises to see Tommy being held down onto the kitchen table by Arthur and Finn while a nurse was using tweezers to remove fragments of gravel from the wound on his neck.
Tommy glanced over to you briefly before indicating to one of the maids that he wanted you to leave.
‘Can’t it just be stitched up?’ you asked, causing the maid to shake her head before asking you to follow her.
‘The wound has to be cleaned out, its quite deep’ the maid said as she showed you to your room.
You sat down on the bed in your room but couldn’t help it but worry about Tommy. All that you could hear from your otherwise quiet room were the occasional grunts. He was clearly in pain.
Then, after about ten minutes, there was dead silence and you became even more concerned and worried.
Finally, after 20 minutes, you heard a knock on the door.
‘Come in’ you said.
You were relieved to see Tommy when he opened the door.
You were quick to get off the bed and walk over to him, pressing your lips onto his in a haste.
He had been stitched up and his wound was covered by a large gauze.
Tommy didn’t say anything after the kiss but simply looked at you wearing Grace’s nightgown.
It was almost like he was assessing you and all of the small bruises and cuts that covered your body.
His hands then caressed your face before he kissed you again.
Silence. There was nothing but silence and kisses.
After about ten minutes of this, Tommy caressed your face again and looked into your eyes.
‘I am sorry this happened to you’ Tommy said.
‘It’s not your fault Tommy’ you responded.
‘You will stay here for a while until I sort this out, alright? You will be safe here and no one will ever hurt you again like this, I promise.’ Tommy said.
‘Alright Tommy’ you said as your hands ran over his bare chest. You wanted to tell him what you were feeling for him in that moment but couldn’t bring it over your lips.
At this point you pulled him onto the bed with you, kissing him gently, before reaching in between his legs.
‘Not tonight Y/N’ Tommy said as he could feel his hand run over his crotch.
‘Tommy, please, I need you’ you said, knowing how good it always makes you feel.
Tommy chuckled at your comment and nodded before leaning over you another kiss.
‘Alright’ he said, before he slowly removed your nightgown. It wasn’t long before his hands were touching you everywhere, lingering on your breasts, tracing the sharp curves of your hips.
Tommy’s lips followed his hands, planting gentle kisses against every inch of your bruised skin. His head moved back up to your chest and his full lips closed over the tips of first one breast and then the other. He began sucking your nipples gently, causing you to moan loudly.
‘Tell me if I'm hurting you’ he murmured as his hand reached down between your legs where most of your bruises had surfaced.
You nodded, breathless. You reached for his belt but your hands were shaking so much that you couldn't even maneuver the clasp. You were still wound up by what had happened that night.
Tommy eased your hands away and took over. In no more than ten seconds, he was as completely naked as were you.
He embraced you, holding you tightly against his chest. You ran your fingers up and down the length of his back, scraping your short nails against his smooth skin.
Tommy shifted his position and began suckling at your breasts once more. A moan of pleasure escaped your lips. You could feel his hard member pressing against your thigh. And you could feel moisture seeping out from between your legs.
Tommy reached between your thighs, parted them gently, and slowly swirled two fingers around your wet vaginal lips.
Tommy removed his fingers. His body slithered down the length of yours. He took hold of your hips, placed his mouth between your legs and nibbled at your sensitive flesh. Then the tip of his tongue began flicking against your clit, tracing circles around the hardened nub.
‘Oh god, Tommy’ you cried as you grabbed hold of his muscular shoulders as the shivers and shudders of an approaching orgasm wracked at your weak body.
The arching of your back was sending bolts of pain shooting down your spine. But you didn't care. Pain and pleasure were colliding and you chose the pleasure.
‘Don’t stop Tommy’ you urged him, tangling your fingers in his hair.
Tommy pressed his mouth to your wet entrance once again and used his tongue to toy with your clit some more.
‘Oh god yes’ you moaned as your orgasm was consuming you, fast and hard.
Tommy crawled up the length of your body and held you tightly as you lost all control. You were shaking and moaning. You grabbed onto him for dear life until the final shudder released you from the joint grasp of ecstasy and agony.
He kissed her hungrily, devouring your lips with his own. You could taste your own juices as you returned his kiss with every ounce of passion you possessed.
Though satiated and struggling with the pain, you parted your legs again and reached down to guide Tommy’s hard cock into your soaking wet pussy. Tommy groaned immediately. He propped himself up on his hands and began pushing into you gently.
‘It's okay’ you whispered as Tommy looked at you as if he was seeking approval.
‘Push harder’ you moaned, giving your body to him.
Tommy accepted your invitation and began thrusting into you more forcefully. He lowered his head to kiss you as he was pumping into you with increased speed and force.
The tip of his cock was grazing against your sweet spot as he thrusted into you and you felt another climax approaching.
At the same time, you also felt Tommy’s body begin to tremble with his own approaching release.
‘Oh god Tommy’ you moaned as your orgasm washed over you.
At the same time, guttural groans escaped his throat and, with one final convulsive thrust, he erupted inside of you, flooding you with a rush of hot cum.
After you both came down from your high, Tommy rolled away from you and collapsed next to you.
He took you into his arms and held you against his body as, all of a sudden, Arthur barged through the door.
‘Fucking hell Arthur’ Tommy said just as you covered your bare breasts with the sheets.
‘Abraham Gold is here’ Arthur said, trying hard to look away from you.
‘I thought Finn was full of shit when he told me that you two were still fucking’ Arthur said as you quickly reached for your nightgown and Tommy put on his pants.
‘This stays between us’ Tommy instructed as he walked out of your room and downstairs.
‘Mr Gold’ Tommy said, greeting your father.
‘Where is my daughter’ Abrahama asked.
‘Upstairs, having a rest’ Tommy responded, causing Finn to sigh and Arthur to laugh.
You made your way downstairs after five minutes to greet your father before Tommy took him into his office to discuss the matter.
All you could hear from outside Tommy’s offices were arguments and yelling.
Your father didn’t know about your involvement with Tommy but soon learned about his plan. In your father’s opinion, Tommy was going behind his back and put your life at risk for financial gain and had now created a war with the Kruger family, especially after killing three of Manuel Kruger’s five sons.
‘These were men you wanted to be in business with, ey? Men who tried to force themselves on your daughter’ Tommy said angrily as your father stormed out of his office.
‘Carful Mr Shelby’ your father yelled before telling Tommy that it would have never come that far if he wouldn’t had interfered with the arrangement.
Your father took a hold of your hand told you to get into the car as he left Tommy’s office, the yelling continuing.
‘Mr Gold, it’s not safe’ Tommy tried to argue while your father forced you to leave with him.
‘My daughter’s safety is not your concern Mr Shelby’ Abrahama said and you had no choice but to follow him back to the commune.
You spent the next few days there, not being allowed to work or go on with your usual activities. You knew that your father regularly talked to Tommy. He had no choice but to work with him now after all this. But, you had no idea where things were heading from here on and you knew that Tommy’s actions made your father despise him.
Finally, five days later, your father arranged another meeting with Tommy and Arthur at the factory to which you were invited. It was Tommy who insisted that you were part of this meeting and gain an understanding of the plan. Tommy argued that this was for your own safety.
You appreciated Tommy’s efforts to have you included but, that particular morning, you could have very well stayed in bed.
You have been unwell for two days now and didn’t want to see Tommy looking the way you did.
You forced yourself to put on a nice dress and some make up before joining your father and brother in the car.
Just as you arrived at the factory building, you barged out of the car and towards the lavatory.
‘Excuse me’ you said as you stormed into the men’s lavatory on the ground floor. There was no female lavatory in close proximity.
‘You realise that this is the fucking men’s lavatory, right?’ Arthur said while taking a leek as, all of a sudden, he heard a loud choking noise.
‘Are you alright, Love?’ he asked as you were in the cubicle, with the door open, your head hanging over the toilet seat.
‘Yes, I am fine, thank you Arthur’ you said as you straightened yourself up and walked to the basin to wash your hands.
There was an awkward silence between you and Arthur.
‘Ate something bad, ey?’ Arthur said as he handed you his handkerchief.
‘Yes, probably. It’s been like this for two days’ you said. ‘I will return it, washed of course’ you added after you wiped your mouth with the handkerchief.
‘Don’t worry Love. Keep it’ Arthur said as you both left the bathroom and headed to the meeting.

anything with jin zixuan marrying into the jiang sect, instead of jiang yanli marrying out?
ao3
It wasn’t that Jin Zixuan didn’t love his mother – he did, he truly did. He loved her, he supported her, he stood by her side in every argument. He would do anything within his power to help her get everything that she wanted.
It was only that he took a very reasonable look at the circumstances and realized he couldn’t. He couldn’t get her the one thing she’d always counted for.
He couldn’t win the right of succession to be Sect Leader Jin.
Maybe if his mother had managed to stop his father from bringing home all his bastards – there were nineteen of them, all together, and those were just the ones that were willing to admit it so who even knew – he might’ve had a better chance, given that he was after all the sole legitimate son. But legitimacy only took you so far: he was neither the oldest of the children, nor the most capable, nor the most cunning. He wasn’t even the best connected, despite his maternal family’s support; that honor went to another one of his siblings, born to an especially well-connected family through unspecified circumstances that might or might not involve rape but which sufficient money had plastered over.
The only thing Jin Zixuan had going for him was his legitimacy, but his father had long ago taught him - however inadvertently - that there wasn’t anything magical about a wedding ceremony that made him better suited to the role of sect leader.
What’s more, in his heart of hearts, Jin Zixuan didn’t even want it.
He wasn’t – he didn’t really like fighting. Or politics, or scheming, or any of it. It just wasn’t his personality. He didn’t like games of influence, he didn’t like backstabbing people that trusted him, he didn’t like gossiping and slandering and not being able to believe in people’s good faith and any of that, and no matter how much his mom pushed him, he didn’t think he’d ever like it.
But that was what Lanling Jin did, what Jilin Tower was like, and if he wanted to take up the Sect Leader’s seat and reside in the Fragrant Palace, he had to get over himself and accept that that’s what the rest of his life would be like.
Forever.
Until someone murdered him and took his place, anyway. It almost felt inevitable, sometimes.
Or, because he really truly didn’t want the job, because he really truly didn’t want to die, he could try to think of something else. Some way out.
For example, he could, and did, go to Jin Ziyao and ask him for help.
Jin Ziyao stared at him, eyes narrow and calculating as they so rarely were – he was very good at keeping a bland polite smile on his face, the best at it of all the people Jin Zixuan had ever met, and he’d met a lot.
“That’s an interesting thing to say, brother,” he said, gently eliding as always the fact that they were the same age, born on the same day to different mothers. “Very interesting indeed. I must ask, though - why are you saying it to me?”
“Because you’d be the best at the job,” Jin Zixuan said honestly. He really thought so: Jin Ziyao was smart and clever, cunning enough to wear a kind face and tricky enough to actually pull off the impression of actually being kind, since people were more willing to forgive kind people, but also ambitious and ruthless enough to survive and maybe even thrive in the political world the way Jin Zixuan wasn’t. “And because you’re smart enough to come up with a way for me to get out of this without dying, if you wanted to.”
“Flattery will get you nowhere. Why would I want to?”
And that was the rub, wasn’t it? Jin Zixuan was the legitimate son, the rightful heir, and his father, their father, was just as likely to name Jin Zixuan as the next sect leader no matter how unfit for the role he was on nothing more than that basis as he was to name anyone else with a much stronger claim.
It was in everyone else’s best interest to kill him, if they were ambitious.
Maybe not his sisters. They wouldn’t inherit no matter what happened to him.
(Sometimes Jin Zixuan wished he was lucky enough to be born a nobody, little Jin Ziyu, who just wanted to play with make-up and avoid all contact with his maternal Mo family. Nobody cared about Jin Ziyu, and everyone liked it that way.)
“You know my position,” Jin Zixuan explained. He didn’t need to say it out loud; he was bitterly aware that it was basically his only personality trait: legitimate heir of Jin Guangshan, the rich boy everyone thought would be the next sect leader unless someone else got in the way. “My support could be worth something to you.”
“Especially if it’s sincere,” Jin Ziyao murmured, looking thoughtful, contemplative. It wasn’t an outright no, anyway, or at least not yet. “And you would be sincere, wouldn’t you?”
“There’s a reason I said that I’m not fit for the role,” Jin Zixuan replied, his voice dry to hide the fact that his heart was in his throat. Jin Ziyao was the one most likely to succeed in finding a way to get him out of this mess, but he was also the most likely to figure out a way to kill him without being blamed for it, too.  There was a reason he’d come to him, but that reason was the danger - who was to say that Jin Ziyao wouldn’t decide it’d be safer to kill him, and to use this to accomplish it? He could be signing his own death warrant. “And even if you’re smart, competent, good at managing things, well-connected, and well-liked, you can still use my help.”
Jin Ziyao had only a single fault: his mother had been a prostitute. People still judged him for that, something which made no sense to Jin Zixuan whatsoever – it wasn’t Jin Ziyao’s fault what his mother did before he was born – but it meant he lacked legitimacy even more than the others.
Having the legitimate son backing his claim would be a strong argument in favor of overlooking that.
“You know your mother won’t like it,” Jin Ziyao said. Testing, probing; he hadn’t agreed yet.
“I know,” Jin Zixuan said simply. “But I hope that she’d like me being dead less.”
He wasn’t actually sure about that. His mother loved him, yes, but he had never entirely determined if she loved him for himself or as an extension of herself – a symbol of what she would be fighting towards. A sign that her struggles with her husband had a purpose, that all her humiliation would one day be worth it.
That one day, when he was sect leader, she would become the true power in Lanling through him.
(Jin Zixuan didn’t know what she imagined would happen to all his illegitimate brothers and sisters in that situation, and he didn’t want to; it put a sick feeling in his gut to think about it – which he supposed meant he did know, after all, what she would want, but was instead choosing to ignore it.)
Jin Ziyao studied him for a long moment, presumably trying to analyze his sincerity and how firm he was on the idea.
Jin Zixuan didn’t rush him, knowing it was a gamble on his side as well: it would be worse for him to help Jin Zixuan out of the line of succession only for Jin Zixuan to change his mind down the road. It would make him look bad, make him a target for the others, and the backstabbing nature of Lanling politics meant that luring someone in with a request for aid was exactly the sort of trap someone might lay out.
Sometimes, Jin Zixuan was really, really tired of Lanling.
Maybe something of that showed on his face, because just when he was starting to lose hope, Jin Ziyao abruptly nodded – almost to himself – and said, “All right. How about your marriage?”
“What about my marriage?” Jin Zixuan asked, puzzled.
He’d been engaged to his mother’s best friend’s daughter since before he was born, and amazingly enough the engagement had held despite everything – probably because they had barely met, to be perfectly honest. And also the fact that being surrounded by brothers that hid daggers in their smiles gave Jin Zixuan enough experience to realize that he was being deliberately incited when his so-called friends started telling him that he deserved better than a girl most often described simply as being nice.
After all, he’d already started doubting by that time that he even deserved the accident of his legitimate birth, so forget deserving any girl.
Also, being nice sounded…rather nice, actually. Certainly a relief, assuming she was actually nice rather than just pretending to be the way so many of his sisters were.
(None of them liked her, which suggested she might be.)
“You should get to know your intended better,” Jin Ziyao said. “Visit her more often.”
Jin Zixuan really wasn’t seeing the connection between that and his request for assistance, and Jin Ziyao’s gaze softened a little bit, though Jin Zixuan wasn’t sure if it was with sympathy or merely pity.
“It’ll make it easier for you,” he clarified. “For when you marry in.”
Marry in?
Marry in. The Jiang sect was a Great Sect, with enough power and influence to make unreasonable demands – and his father desperately wanted the alliance with them. If they could be convinced to demand that he marry in rather than having Jiang Yanli marry out, pointing to their smaller numbers or the tragedies that had befallen their sect…
Jiang Cheng would like having his sister around. He was also notoriously standoffish around women, and had viciously rejected any effort to be matched with one of the illegitimate Jin girls; it might even be possible to suggest to his father that allowing Jin Zixuan to marry in would mean that there was a chance that Jiang Cheng would be willing to leave his sect to a nephew surnamed Jiang, winning the Jin sect both an alliance and inheritance all at once.
Best of all, it had to be him. The Jiang sect had only agreed to the engagement because of Madame Yu’s friendship with his mother, not for any political reason; if his father tried to substitute him with someone else, they might break it entirely…
And someone who married out couldn’t be the heir.
“You’re a genius,” Jin Zixuan told his brother, who smiled crookedly in acknowledgement. “What should I do? Do I just – go over there? Send a letter? I can’t write letters…”
“Let me think about it,” Jin Ziyao said. “I’m sure I can come up with something more subtle than you.”

Your neck was aching, collar heavy around it. The feeling of the leather suffocating, chaffing, and burning like a brand.
A Brand on livestock, A brand on an animal.
You aren't an animal. At least at one point, you hadn't been.
Now you were... what were you?
Yumeko says you're her favorite toy, always so sweet-so kind with her praises, even when she's bringing the belt down on your backside for the tenth time. " Such a good kitty, taking your lashes so well." But mary insist you're a dirty whore, " Why do you insist on babying the little bitch for doing what filthy whores like her are supposed to do"
Even now as Mary wraps another tie around your ankle you can't quite wrap your head around what you are.
Sharp pain from how tight the ties are rings through your wrist and makes you jerk away, earning you a hard slap to the face.
" Hold fucking still waste." Mary hisses. Yumeko jabs lightly at mary with her elbow " Why are you always so mean to her?" Yumeko sighs, rubbing at your thigh. Her voice sounds sincere, caring even but You know all too well that she's only pretending to care, pretending to scold mary for being rough with you.
" The little shit wouldn't have to get tied down if she hadn't had fucking kicked me last time." Mary snaps, yellow eyes glaring at the brunette.
You hadn't meant to kick Mary, but to be fair you had told her that you couldn't handle another orgasm, Yet she persisted, keeping the vibrator on your clit, sneering about how " little shits like you need to serve your purpose." and " If you know whats fucking good for you you'll come again." Your're tenth-or something orgasm had wrecked through your body, sending spasms and jerks- spasms and jerks that had caused your leg to launch out, smacking Mary in her nose.
You had already been punished, of course, mary had made sure to bruise your ass raw, make sure you could sit regularly for weeks, but she still insisted on tying you down before they went on with their regular routine anyways.
Yumeko busies herself unbuttoning her school blouse and stepping out of her skirt
It's not right, twisted how stunning Yumeko's Body is.
Sick people who keep other human beings tied down in empty classrooms shouldn't be allowed to so....beautiful. Sharp collarbone above perfectly round breast that melt into a sharply defined waist. No matter how much you despised Yumeko Jabami you would never be able to call her ugly. And the fact sickened you.
" Aw, you're drooling, am I that pretty kitten," Yumeko giggles, leaning down to smooth your hair back. " Does my good little kitty want something to plug up that sweet little mouth?"
Your stomach tightens knowing exactly what it is she's hinting at. "Open wide for me kitty." Yumeko coos, pushing two of her digits inside your mouth. You know better than to bite down on her fingers, the first and last time you had, mary broke one of yours, and you hadn't been able to bend it correctly for months. So you let the long, slender digits slide past your lips and suck, to avoid punishment.
Mary snorts as she fastens the last tie on your ankle, sitting up. "Ts really fucking gross how you stick your fingers in the little shits mouth like that, how the fuck do you get off on that?" She sneers Yumeko just smiles, pushing her fingers deeper into your mouth, hitting the back of your throat triggering your gag reflex. "If that little fuckface pukes, I swear to fucking god I'll kill you Yumeko." Mary frowns
" 'Sides, there are better ways to put her mouth to use anyways," she mumbles. Yumeko lets out a boisterous laugh " If you wanted a turn with kitty's mouth, all you needed was to say so." Mary doesn't answer, instead motions for Yumeko to take her fingers out of your mouth, to which Yumeko obliges with a sad whimper, letting her now slimy digits drop from your mouth.
"Now, you'll put that whinny little mouth to good use," Mary smirks, positioning herself to hover over your face. You start up your usual protest, about how you don't want her to ride your face, that you'd rather just eat her out on your stomach to avoid her suffocating you, but your pleading is in vain, Mary lets her legs give out anyway, pushing her cunt directly onto your mouth.
You almost panic at the sudden loss of air, but you know better to try and struggle against her, it only ever results in some form of physical assault. And it's not like you could push her off of you, in your current state. So you let your tongue loll out of your mouth to take a swipe at her folds.
" Aww, you're being so good kitten, you deserve an award." Yumeko sings.
" She's not-Fuck- Not being fucking good, the little fucking shit's just doing what housepets are supposed to do." Mary whimpers out, thighs quivering around your head.
Houspet.
Hearing Her say the word- the title is almost foreign since they often call you anything but. Kitten, Toy, Little shit, but still it's a reminder of what you are now. No longer human, and below any animal. A Housepet. A failed gambler.
It all comes pouring back to you like rain, everything you had been, what you were before.
Master gambler, Highroller extraordinaire. You had been on top of the world, winning game after game and match after match, well on your way to becoming an esteemed member of the student body council. Maybe even president of the student body council until-Until you had lost.
It had all happened so fast, you were so certain- still certain that you should've won that game, that it had been rigged and you deserved a rematch - a recount, anything- yet your cries of foul-play had fallen on death ears. Your status as a high-ranking gambler had been revoked, replaced with that of a disgusting, low-ranking rat.
The transition had been slow, yet persistent. The looks of fear and admiration people once gazed at you with turned to disgust and superiority. Where once people had flocked to be around you they had started to avoid you like the plague.
The last and final declaration of your dehumanization had come in the form of a notice from the student council, a notice stating that if you couldn't repay your debt from losing, you would be demoted to the lowest student ranking at Hyakkaou Private Academy. You had begged, on your knees almost for a second chance, but the president had refused, issuing you a collar.
Yumeko and Mary had cornered you a few days after that, forced you to become their personal little plaything.
"No point in resisting, shitty little housepets like you go missing all the time, no one would look for you." Mary had whispered
Yumeko jerking your thighs further apart pulls you out of your moment of self-realization.
"You're doing so well for Mary kitten, I just can't help but reward you." she beams.
Yumeko's rewards always leave you overstimulated and crying, so you don't feel any relief at the mention of receiving one. Still despite how you tense up, clearly uncomfortable with her rewarding you, Yumeko slots herself between your legs, flicking a vibrator on and pressing it against your clit. The sudden sensation causing your hips to buck up, much to the distaste of Mary.
" Be fucking still" the blonde hisses, " Just fucked up my c-climax."
You don't bother to object or tell mary that Yumeko's the reason you moved so suddenly, you know she won't care either way. "s' fucking close" Mary whimpers grinding down against your tongue harder. Her hips stutter, once, twice, before she's shaking, squirting all over your face. You want to gag, cry out, push her off you, but you know you can't, so you let her ride the rest of her orgasm off on your face, sticky, sweaty thighs clamped around your head.
Mary finishes after what seems like forever, standing up on quivering legs, looking around for her clothes.
" Were gonna be fucking late for our next class, fucking c'mon Yumeko" She sighs.
Yumeko pouts from between your legs, two fingers buried in your swollen cunt. "But I didn't get to finish kittens reward, she's been so good we can't just leave her all pent up like this."
you can almost hear Mary roll her eyes." If I have to fucking drag you outta here by your fucking hair Yume-
"Fine, Fine" Yumeko stands up, cutting her off. She slowly reassembles her uniform, grumbling almost like a child who just had a toy ripped away from her.
"Sides you can come back and finish the little shit off after school" Mary shouts, already halfway out of the door. Yumeko smiles down out you, winking before following her friend into the hall.
--
Long after they've left you find yourself sobbing, wishing they had untied you before going back to class.
A sick feeling rises in your stomach as you realize you're not crying about being tied up because the position you're in is uncomfortable or even because you might have been able to find a way out if they had let you free of the ties.
You're crying because You wished they had let you go before leaving so you could stuff a finger into your aching cunt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I really want Yumeko and mary to bully me. 😪
Anyways, as usual, if you enjoyed this don't be afraid to reblog!

Seasons of PD: Season 1: Lonnie Rodiger (A Jay Halstead + Halstead! Sister Imagine)
Any quotes from season one that I put in here, credit obviously goes to the writers of PD. For the sake of my story, Ben Corson was killed when he was 11 so you would've been 10.
Trigger warning for mentions of rape and murder.
Jay's age: 27
Your age: 13
Jay walked up the steps of the front porch of his childhood home. With how crazy gangs have become the past few weeks, it was hard for him to get a good night's sleep without his phone going off, let alone keep track of what day it was. So, when he walked into the district this morning and learned that it was the day of what would've been Ben Corson's fourteenth birthday, he was crushed. He'd learned how to deal with the pain because it wasn't his best friend, it was the little brother of his ex-girlfriend. But, he was your best friend and, despite the saying that time heals all wounds, this day was still hard on you. It was a bit better than when the night he was killed rolled around each year, but it was hard nonetheless. It was also hard because Jay had to see his dad, even if it was just for a few minutes.
"Hey, Jay. How's work?" Pat Halstead asked as his youngest son entered the house. He was seated in the recliner in the living room, catching the highlights of the Blackhawks game from last night.
"Please don't do that," Jay stated.
"Do what?" Pat asked as he muted the tv.
"Pretend like you care. Pretend like you were there for me when I was Y/N's age because we both know you weren't. Remember that fight I got--"
"Jay? Are we going to the Corsons?" you asked, popping into the living room and stopping your dad and Jay's conversation in its tracks.
"Uh, yeah, c'mon let's go," Jay faltered.
You smiled, but it was more of just tipping one side of your lips upward. Today was a day that didn't warrant full smiles, only half-smiles and maybe a few quiet giggles like when you, Jay, Gail, Danny, and occasionally Allie if she was home, told stories about yours and Ben's escapades when you were younger...when Ben was alive.
"Thanks. I made a card, too." You turned to your dad before you left. "Bye, Dad. See you tonight."
"Bye, don't let her eat too much cake, Jay," your dad replied.
"And just for that, you're getting two pieces," Jay whispered in your ear as soon as you were out on the front porch. You rolled your eyes. "Hey, don't use that teenage sass with me, missy."
"Shut up," you joked. "It's just funny because every time Dad tells you not to do something, you do it anyway. It's probably because it's more fun when you're not allowed to do it."
"Okay, fine, I guess you're right about that."
"Ha, you're wrong about something!"
"Technically, I wasn't wrong. I just said you were right. But, do not tell Will."
"No promises."
You walked up the porch steps and Jay rapped on the door of the Corson's. You took a deep breath, trying to forget the many afternoons after school that you'd do the same exact thing, impatiently waiting for Ben to emerge so that you could both play in the backyard together until one of you got called inside for dinner, not without promises to play with each other the next day.
"You okay?" Jay asked, noticing your change in demeanor from joking with him to solemn in a matter of seconds.
You shrugged, not knowing what to say.
"Jay, Y/N," Gail Corson said as she answered the door after you and Jay had each given her a hug.
You walked inside to the kitchen table, where Ben's dad, Danny, was just sitting, staring into space. "Hey, Danny," Jay said.
"Hi, Jay. Y/N," he replied.
You never knew what to say when it came to this day, so you just handed Danny the envelope. "I, uh, I made a card for Ben," you said. "I don't know if you want to open it and read it or just put it somewhere, I just--"
"I'll open it, sweetheart," Gail interrupted and then took the card from her husband.
You had made the card out of light blue construction paper and had used a navy blue pen to write in your best cursive handwriting, Happy 14th birthday, Ben!, since blue was Ben's favorite color. You hadn't known what else to write, because, what else could you write? Tell him what he was missing out on with being gone and cry so hard while making the card that that marker smudged and bled through the other side of the construction paper? No, you couldn't do that. So, you had resorted to printing out some pictures of you and Ben (some with you, Ben, Jay, Allie, and the occasional one with Will) on computer paper, cut them out, and glued them inside the card. You wanted the card to be filled with happy, funny memories, not sad, sappy writing.
Gail let out a sad laugh. "When was this one taken?"
You looked at the picture she was pointing at. It was a selfie no doubt taken on Allie's old flip phone. In it, Jay and Allie were making funny faces and you and Ben were both smiling proudly because of the work you had done.
Jay was supposed to be babysitting you and Allie was supposed to be babysitting Ben since your parents and his parents had gone out for dinner together. You both should have been in bed in your own separate houses since there was a rule about Allie and Jay not hanging out alone together at home when there were no parents around, but you had lost count of how many times they had broken that rule.
It was around 11 at night when Ben had woken you up with two black, Crayola markers in his hand and had told you that both Jay and Allie were asleep on the couch. So, as quiet as you could, you both tip-toed into the living room, uncapped your markers, and got to work.
You knew they had seen the trouble you two had gotten into when you heard running. You and Ben giggled to yourselves as you heard the water running from the bathroom.
Soon enough, Jay flung your door open. And, you guys just couldn't help yourselves and started to laugh even harder.
Then, to get you back, Jay had tickled you and Allie tickled Ben. Once you had all calmed down, Allie suggested that the four of you take a picture. And, the next time Allie and Ben came over when Jay was babysitting, he was sure to hide all the markers on the top shelf of his bookshelf in his bedroom where there was no way either of you would be able to find them, let alone reach them.
"So, you and Allie did hang out together with no parental supervision," Danny chirped. "Don't do stupid things like your brother here, Y/N."
"Hey," Jay started to defend himself. "We learned our lesson...to hide the markers."
"Do you remember when he got in trouble for pushing some kid on the playground, Gail?" Danny asked his wife.
"Oh, how could I forget that! I got a call from the school saying that Ben was in trouble and I knew on my way over there that he'd be grounded from the tv for weeks. But, then in the car on the ride home, he explained to me that some kid in his grade was telling Y/N she couldn't play with them since she was a grade below them. Then, he pushed him down and said that, yes, she could play."
"You never told me the full story of that, Y/N. What's this kid's name?" Jay asked.
"Jay, it was years ago! Give the overprotective big brother thing a rest, would you?"
"Would you kids like some cake?" Gail asked.
You swallowed. Chocolate on chocolate cake, Ben's favorite and yours. But, now on your birthday, you'd switched to marble just so that you wouldn't be reminded of how Ben would never see you on your birthday again.
Jay noticed your discomfort and how you probably didn't want to start bawling your eyes out just because you didn't want Gail and Danny to start crying, as well. Even though they'd probably done enough crying today as it was.
"Actually, we gotta run. I have to get Y/N home because she has homework to do and I have some police business to tend to," Jay answered, sensing your discomfort as the good detective he was.
"At least let me give you a slice to go," Gail suggested.
Abruptly, Danny stood up and shoved his chair under the table, and left the kitchen. You heard a door slam.
You widened your eyes for a split second and then quickly regained your composure. His son was dead and his killer was still on the loose; he had every right to lash out.
"This is always a tough day for him," Gail started. "He won't eat it. I just end up throwing it out."
Jay nodded. "Small slice." He turned to look at you. "And an even bigger slice for her."
Gail went over to a cupboard and pulled out two Tupperware containers and then two plastic forks from a drawer. Then, she cut two slices of cake and placed them inside the containers, handing you the one that contained the bigger slice.
"Thank you," you said.
"Yes, thank you," Jay agreed. "And, if there's anything either you or Danny need, please don't hesitate to call me."
Gail nodded and the two of you left the Corson's house, cake in hand.
"Happy birthday, Ben," you whispered when you were walking down the steps.
Then, when you got back to your house, Jay pulled out his keys and unlocked his car. "Hop in," he told you.
"Where are we going?" you asked. "I thought you had some police stuff to do?"
"You know how on Mom's birthday, we always go to the cemetery and plant flowers?" he asked. You nodded. That day was always full of crying despite how old you got. Hell, even Jay cried. It was one of the only times that he'd let his guard down and let his emotions take over in full force. "Look in the backseat."
There, sitting on the backseat on a towel so that dirt wouldn't get everywhere, was a carton full of Morning Glories. "Blue. Ben's favorite color."
"Yeah," Jay said, the volume of his voice almost a whisper. "We just have to make a quick pitstop first and then we'll go and plant them." You both buckled up and then Jay actually realized that he might have overlooked something. "You don't actually have a ton of homework to get done, do you?"
"No, even if I did, I wouldn't be able to focus on it." You took a bite of the birthday cake. "Does it get any easier?"
"Does what get any easier?" he asked, while still keeping his eyes on the road, his cake forgotten.
"You know, losing people. I know it'll be hard every year for Mom because she was our mom--"
"First of all, she's still our mom, Y/N. No one is going to replace her. Second of all, continue."
"Sorry, I know you got more time with her and knew her better than I did--"
"Listen, if you ever want to hear stories about Mom or Mom and Dad or anything like that, just ask me. I know you were just a kid, hell you are still just a kid, but you can always ask me about her. Always, okay?"
You nodded, feeling grateful that you at least had one brother who looked out for you. Lord knows Will didn't since he was barely home. You didn't hold a grudge against him or anything like Jay did, you just felt like he wasn't there. And, you knew that him not being there had hurt Jay, so it was hard for the three of you to all act like siblings when you felt like you'd need to jump in and stop a fight between your brothers at any moment. If it was just you and Will or just you and Jay, your relationship was great. But, when it was the three of you together, you could practically feel the tension between Will and Jay.
"So, does it get easier? Losing friends I mean. Like, when their birthdays come around or the day they died, does your heart feel like it isn't being ripped out of your chest every second of those days?"
You assumed that Jay had lost friends when he was overseas, which was why he came home from his second tour a year earlier than scheduled. That and your mom was sick.
"That's how you're feeling with Ben? Why didn't you tell me?" he asked.
"I knew you had your own stuff going on with being a detective and all and I know you think you know who did it and I don't want you going to prison."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. My job will never be more important than you." It might be more important than Will, he thought to himself. But, you didn't need to know that piece of information. "But, to answer your question, no it doesn't get any easier. I mean it kinda does, because the pain of losing them isn't as fresh as the years go by, but the day still sucks no matter how many years it's been."
"Then how do you deal with? When those days of the year roll around?"
"Distract yourself to try and forget. But, pretend I didn't tell you that. Go talk to someone instead."
"That's not what you do though, is it? Talk to someone?"
"Do as I say, kid. Do as I say, not as I do."
"Will you ever stop calling me kid? I'm thirteen, Jay!"
"Nope, in my head you're still that four-year-old with the Build-A-Bear."
He pulled the car up to the curb. You looked up as Jay put it in the park. "Why are we here?"
"Just, stay in the car, okay? I'm gonna be right outside, but I just have something I need to take care of."
"Okay."
You knew this house. You weren't going to tell Jay, but you walked past it every day when going to school because it was shorter than taking the route your parents had taught you to take. Jay was the one who actually taught you to take this route three years ago when he had walked you to school after Ben's death. But, he told you never to take this way to or from school when you were alone. But, seeing as it was five minutes faster and you were a teenager and cherished every second of sleep, you didn't listen and took this way every single school day.
Jay got out of the car and leaned up against it. Then, he opened his container of chocolate on chocolate birthday cake and began to eat it. You knew what he was doing. It was the reason he had taken this route to school with you. He told you it was because it was faster, but you knew it was because he wanted to tail Lonnie Rodiger...which you assumed was the reason why he didn't want you walking here alone. Because a pedophile lived here. Well, technically he wasn't a pedophile yet because he wasn't convicted, but you had heard enough conversations between Jay, Gail, and Danny when they all thought you were out of earshot to know that Lonnie was the one who killed your childhood best friend.
You saw Lonnie peak out through the curtains of one of the windows. And, if it weren't for Jay's water bottle that was sitting in the cupholder that you quickly took a swig of, you would've choked on your bite of cake.
A patrol car pulled up across the street and a uniformed cop came out. It was the same kind of uniform that Jay had been wearing the night you ran over to the Corson's house when it became a crime scene. You quickly wiped the few tears away at the memory of that night. If Jay got arrested, you knew you'd have to go with him because you couldn't drive. And, you didn't want to be crying in the back of a cop car while Jay was trying to talk his way out of an arrest.
Jay resisted the urge to roll his eyes. Of course, they called the cops! Of course, they did! They'd call the cops and arrest him for harassing a pedophile and a killer, but they wouldn't arrest Lonnie for being a pedophile and a killer.
"Can I see your driver's license?" the patrolman asked.
Jay lifted his shirt, revealing his badge and gun. Despite being off duty, he had it. He always had it when he came around the Rodiger house. If Lonnie struck first, then he'd have him on assaulting an officer...and have an excuse to kill the son of a bitch. It would be in self-defense after all. He feared serious bodily harm.
But, of course, that wasn't going to happen, not today anyway.
"Halstead. Intelligence," Jay answered.
"This is harassment!" Phil Rodiger yelled as marched outside and pointed at Jay, Lonnie right behind him.
"Just eating some birthday cake," Jay said, poking the cake with his plastic fork. "Today would've been a birthday."
You felt your lip begin to tremble.
Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry, you kept telling yourself.
But, it was no use. It was just those three words: would have been.
It would have been Ben's fourteenth birthday if he was still here and if he wasn't buried in the ground in the cemetery, a high collared shirt on to hide the strangulation marks that Lonnie gave him when he wrapped a rope around his neck and pulled, choking him to death.
If he were still here, he would've had a birthday party. It might have been small with only a few people. You might not even have been invited because you're in middle school and middle schoolers like to talk. And, maybe, if you had been invited, people would have said that he had a crush on you and teased him about it.
Maybe, the early stages of puberty would have hit Ben by now and he would have become what you deemed to be cute. Maybe, he would've had a crush on you and you would've had a crush on him if he was still around. But, he would forever be stuck in your head as your best friend, no romantic feelings whatsoever, since he only lived to be eleven years old.
"Arrest him!" Phil Rodiger yelled, snapping you out of your thoughts. "Get him out of here!"
This was it. Maybe the patrolman wouldn't notice you were in the car and you could sneak back home in a few minutes and call Erin, get her to talk to Voight about getting your brother out of lockup. (Yes, you had Erin's number because you needed questions answered that would make your dad and Jay uncomfortable. Even though Will was a doctor, there was no way you would ask him about girl stuff, even though you were pretty sure he had heard and seen it all in New York.)
"Sorry, pal," the patrolman said.
Okay, so you wouldn't be dragged into the back of a patrol car and also wouldn't have to help Jay beat a charge. Thank god your brother was a part of Chicago's famous Intelligence Unit.
You set your cake on the dashboard. You couldn't take it anymore. If Jay wasn't going to say it, you would.
Jay heard the passenger side door open and whipped his head around. "Y/N," he warned. "Get back in the car."
"He killed my best friend, Jay!" you yelled, tears running down your cheeks. "What do you want me to do? Sit in the car and watch him just get away with it?"
The patrolman's eyes grew wide. Seeing that made you realize what you had just said.
You just accused Lonnie of murder.
"Y/N!" Jay yelled. You looked up to see that he had thrown his cake on the ground. "Get back in the car!"
Okay, so Jay's scary when he's angry, noted.
You made your way around the car and into the passenger seat. Then, you just watched as Jay talked to the patrolman, trying to sort this all out.
You didn't mean to do it. It just came out.
You fucked up. Maybe you were going to be the one arrested this time. And, since you weren't a cop, there'd be no way to easily get out of those handcuffs.
You put your head in your hands and changed the radio station, trying your best to make sure you didn't hear the conversation between Jay and the patrolman.
Soon, the patrolman sped off. You were safe. But, Lonnie and Phil were still standing across the street, outside, watching Jay, watching you.
"Get outta here!" Phil yelled.
Jay was almost to the car when he turned around, rage painted on his freckled face. "Three years ago today, Lonnie! Three years! He would've been fourteen! Fourteen!"
"I'm gonna call my lawyer! I'm getting a restraining order!" Phil promised.
"Yeah? Well, I'm gonna give you a reason to need one someday! You and your sick-ass son!"
He slammed the door shut, but you didn't look at him, just kept your gaze on the world outside the passenger side. Jay turned the key and his car roared to life. You heard him sigh, but didn't say a word.
"Look, I'm sorry," he began as he started driving.
"So you get to confront him but when I try it's all get back in the car, Y/N?" you quoted his words from earlier using a mocking tone.
"Lonnie's fu- he's messed up in the head, okay? I don't want him to have any reason to come after you. We both know what he did to Ben and I wish we could nail him on that, but right now, with the evidence that there is, it just can't happen. I'm sorry, I just wanted to keep you safe. I couldn't live with myself if that psycho did anything to you."
"I guess you have a point."
"I always have a point."
Ten minutes later you pulled up to the cemetery. Jay grabbed the small bag of tools and you carried the flowers, not without being warned every thirty seconds not to tip them at all so that they didn't fall out. It was the same thing as when you'd plant them at your mom's grave: you'd always be the one to carry the flowers, but they'd always warn you to be careful with them and then say that you weren't carrying them next year...and then they'd forget they'd said that and the process would repeat itself.
"I'll dig up the first bit of dirt and then you can help me. The top part's always the hardest," Jay said once you had made it to Ben's grave and he started rummaging through the tools.
"Okay." You didn't know what else to say. You just stared at the headstone. You wished he'd just come back to as a ghost or spirit or something for a minute--literally just sixty seconds--so that he could tell you that Lonnie did it.
Twenty minutes later, you and Jay stood up and admired your work. There were flowers there already from the Corson family, but the blue gave even more color to the normally dismal place.
"I'm gonna go find a trash can," Jay said as he picked up the empty plastic pots that the flowers came in. "Give you some time alone."
You nodded, not knowing what to say. Even when Jay left you had no idea what to say. It had been three years, so you didn't feel like you needed to talk to Ben. After all, if he was in heaven, he was looking down on you and knew what was going on in your life, so there was no reason to tell him about it. And, he was a kid, so he had to have gone to heaven, right?
"I'm sorry," you whispered. "I'm so, so sorry."
You heard thunder rumble from above, which drowned out the sound of your choked sobs. The grass beside you started to get wet from the drizzle that had just started, but by how many seconds there were between each clap of thunder, you knew a downpour was just a matter of minutes away.
So many things could have gone differently that night. If Ben had come over to your house to spend the night, he'd still be here. You knew you couldn't change anything. Hell, you didn't even talk about having a sleepover that night, that week, or even that weekend. And, the night he was murdered was a school night, so your dad wouldn't have let Ben spend the night anyway. There was nothing you could have done.
Despite how many years passed, you wondered if you wouldn't have fallen asleep so fast that night if you would have been able to hear screams and called 911 for help. Maybe he'd still be alive if you couldn't fall asleep that night. Maybe, if Jay was off-duty that day and if there was a Blackhawks game on that night, he would've come over and you would've insisted on staying up late and ended up falling asleep on the couch. But, because of Jay being very observant, maybe he would've seen something, heard something, or even just felt that something was very wrong and could've stopped it and arrested Lonnie before it ended tragically.
You felt something wrap around your arms and looked up to see that Jay was back. You felt goosebumps on your body and that's when you realized your hair was sopping wet and water was dripping down the side of your face and was soaking your jeans and shirt.
You heard the pitter-patter of raindrops hitting the large umbrella that Jay usually stowed in his trunk and pulled Jay's jean jacket that he just laid over your shoulders tighter around yourself.
He picked up his tools and turned to you. "You ready? Can't have you getting sick."
"How long have I just been crouched here?" you asked. You knew your thoughts sometimes got the best of you and before you knew it, an hour could've passed when your mind was focused on one subject.
"Until I thought you were going to freeze to death and get sick. And, it's only been about fifteen minutes. I ran to the bathroom and then grabbed the umbrella out of the car. You ready?" he repeated.
You wiped your eyes, not knowing if it was dried tears or dried raindrops on your cheeks. "Uh, yeah."
Jay picked up the bag of tools and you walked back to the car, the umbrella being big enough for both of you to fit underneath.
Once in the car, you slipped off Jay's jean jacket and tried to hand it back to him. "No, at least wear it until we get home. Dad'll kill me if he sees that you're sopping wet and then he'll think that I just left you out in the rain."
"Brother of the year." And, despite the circumstances, both of you laughed.

Math homework is due tomorrow...why does math have letters anyway? I'm never gonna need this in life. Snap out of it, Y/N. You can focus on that later. Just focus on the walk home. You have to be careful now since you're walking by their house.
You tried to turn your attention to the world ahead of you, or more accurately, the road and houses in front of you. You needed to be on high alert since you were about to walk past the Rodiger house. And, they saw you now...hopefully, they hadn't filed a restraining order against you, too. As far as you knew, it was just Jay, but you didn't need to have Jay get you out of trouble today.
Your eyes darted across the street to the house, while you tried to make sure you didn't cast your glance there too long as to be suspicious. It was Jay's job to be suspicious while walking past this house. It was your job to get to and from school safely when walking past this house. You'd leave the detective/spying/surveillance stuff to Jay.
You tried to focus on the road straight ahead of you, but it was no use when you saw movement out of the left side of your peripheral vision.
You turned and gasped. They turned too, and now you were frozen in place.
He widened his creepy eyes and stared back at you, like a deer caught in the headlights, like a criminal caught in the act because right now, that's what you assumed he was.
You felt your breath catch in your throat, neither of you breaking eye contact.
Then, you took off running. No way in hell were you telling your dad what just happened. One time he caught you walking home this way and said if he found out that you walked to or from school this way again that you'd be grounded for an undisclosed amount of time.
No one needed to know that you had just seen Lonnie Rodiger with duct tape and rope, the two things everyone assumed he had used to kill Ben Corson. No one needed to know. Just shut your mouth and don't tell anyone and everything would be fine. You would be fine.

Jay was sitting across from Antonio at Molly's, slowly sipping on the bit of whiskey left in his glass. "You knew the family?" Antonio asked him.
"He's the younger brother of a girl I dated in high school. Was Y/N's best friend, too. And his parents, Danny and Gail, they came to my graduation from the academy." When my dad wouldn't because he hates all my life choices. Probably hates me, too, Jay wanted to add but stopped himself. "I still see 'em on what would be Ben's birthday. Y/N comes too and god, you know what she asked me this year, Antonio?" Antonio shook his head. "She asked me if their birthdays or the day they died gets easier when it rolls around every year. She's thirteen! She shouldn't have to remember his birthday. Ben should be alive and Y/N should be seeing him on his birthday. But now all she probably remembers on his birthday is seeing his lifeless body lying in the grass...that's probably what she remembers." He took another sip of whiskey.
"Wait, you're saying your little sister saw the body at the crime scene?" Antonio asked.
"Uh, yeah. Me and my partner were first on scene. And...I see a shoe. I push the reeds back because Gail used to have this huge garden with really nice grass, reeds, flowers, other things. And, now she doesn't because it reminds her too much of that night.
"But uh, anyway, I pushed those reeds back..." He swallowed and tried to keep the tears at bay. He couldn't cry. Not in front of his mentor; not in front of the detective who got him into Intelligence in the first place, even if it was only because he caught a bullet in the process of trying to help Gabby and everyone's favorite after-shift hangout spot, Molly's. "And there he is. I still see his face."
Antonio took a swig of his beer. "How'd your sister find him?"
"My dad told me later that she had heard and seen the sirens and went to wake him up and then they came over to see what was going on. She was only nine, hell, she even had her teddy bear with her when they came outside. She was small and easy to miss. Before anyone could stop her...she, uh, she ducked under the crime scene tape and she saw him. I will never forget how she screamed out Ben's name.
"Then, I ran over to her and tried to block him from view, but you know as well as I do, Antonio, that seeing a body like that, well the damage is already done. So, then I just took her home and my partner explained the situation to my sergeant so that I didn't get in trouble for just leaving a crime scene. I never told her about the rape, just that he was dead. She probably put the pieces together that he was raped since she's gotten older, but I didn't heave the heart to tell her."
Antonio nodded. If he was in the same position as Jay was and Gabby was in your position, he knew he'd do the same exact thing. "I remember his dad alibied him out," Antonio stated. "But, they never had anything on Lonnie. Nothing?"
"No," Jay scoffed. "They caught him jerkin' it outside an elementary school a week prior to finding Ben. They found fucking kiddie porn on his computer. A-And secret pictures that he'd taken of Ben."
"You gotta be kidding me."
"Nuh-uh. We all knew Lonnie did it. But, you know, his dad lied." Jay shrugged. "And, uh, they got a good lawyer for that sick of a bitch."
Jay took a sip of his whiskey, blinking back tears. Antonio sighed and looked at the young detective. "Hey, be careful. You hear me?"
"I know, I just--" Jay was cut off by his phone ringing. He looked at it. Why's Dad calling at 11 o'clock at night? Why is Dad calling me at all?
He declined the call.
"Who was that?" Antonio asked.
"Not important. Anyway, I'll be care--" His phone started ringing again. "Dammit," he muttered and then pressed the answer icon. "Yeah?"
"J-Jay?"
"Y/N? What are you still doing up? Don't you have school tomorrow?"
"I didn't want to tell you because you and Dad always tell me not to walk there by myself, but I saw him and he saw me and I thought I'd be fine but now I can't sleep and--"
"Whoa, whoa. Take a breath, okay?"
You took a deep, shaky breath as few tears slipped down your face. You tried not to think about your encounter with Lonnie earlier today, but as you tried to sleep and the darkness took over the world, you couldn't stop your thoughts from running rampant. What if he was going to use that duct tape and rope on you now because he had seen you? Kill all the witnesses so that there wouldn't be a trial and he wouldn't get convicted?
"Now, tell me again what happened," Jay said calmly, all his cop instincts taking over and talking to as if you were a victim for the time being. "This time slower."
"I took the way home from school that you taught me to take and tell me to never take alone--"
"Y/N," Jay wiped a hand over his face. "Me and Dad told you not to go that way by yourself."
"I know, but I saw Lonnie and he had supplies and he saw me. I thought it was fine but now I can't sleep and--"
"Y/N," Jay started again. "Slow. Down. You saw Lonnie?"
At the mention of that name, Antonio looked up.
"Yeah," you answered, trying to slow your rate of speaking. "He had- he had rope and duct tape. And- and he saw me. I'm scared. I'm so scared, Jay. What if he comes after me now?" You covered your mouth with your hand to stop your dad from hearing your sobs. You assumed he was sleeping, and if he wasn't you hoped he didn't notice that you were on the phone. All he had to do was pick it up and see line in use and then you'd be in trouble for walking that way.
"Y/N, listen to me. I'm not gonna let that happen. I'm gonna leave Molly's right now and then be over there. Are you in your room?"
"Yeah."
"Is Dad still up?" Jay asked.
"I-I don't know."
"Okay, just stay put and I'll be there as soon as I can. And, we can explain it to Dad together, alright?"
"Okay. You promise you'll be here soon?"
"I promise. I'm leaving Molly's right now."
"Okay."
"I'm gonna hang up now."
"Okay, bye Jay."
Jay ended the call and started putting on his jacket. "What was that all about?" Antonio asked.
"Y/N took the fastest route home from school today, which goes by the Rodiger place. She said she saw Lonnie and he had duct tape and rope with him. He saw her, Antonio."
"Shit." Antonio pulled out his wallet and threw a few bills on the table. "I got it. I'll be right behind you."
"Thanks, man."
***
Jay slowly turned the key in the lock and opened the door, Antonio following him. "Dad?" Jay asked.
"Jay?" he answered from the living room, sounding as if he had just woken up from falling asleep in front of the tv. "What are you doing here?"
"I can explain if you wanna go check on Y/N, Jay," Antonio suggested.
"Yeah, yeah that'd be great. Thanks, man."
You heard knocking at your door, causing you to draw in a deep breath. "Y/N? Open up, it's Jay."
You set Beary down--yes when you were scared you still liked to have your Build-A-Bear in your hand because it gave you comfort--and then stood up from your bed to open the door.
"Jay." You launched yourself into his arms before he could even comprehend what was happening. "I'm so scared. What if he comes after me?"
Jay wrapped his arms around you and ran his hand up and down your back, just like he had done a few years ago when he had brought you back home after you had seen Ben's lifeless body lying in the grass. "Shhh, shhh it's okay. You're okay." Now he was most definitely using the tone he used when talking to child victims.
"What if he- what if he comes after me though, Jay?" you asked, soaking his shirt with tears of fright.
"Hey," he pulled away. "Look at me." You looked up at your older brother. "I will not let that happen. Ever. You understand me?" You nodded. "Now, how about you pack a bag, and then you can stay at my place until this all blows over."
"Why?"
Jay sighed. "Just, please do it."
You pulled out a peach-colored duffle from your closet.
"I'll be right downstairs if you need me."
He walked downstairs to see your dad still sitting on the living room couch with Antonio sitting in the chair across from him. "I'm taking Y/N to my place for a few days until this whole thing gets sorted out," Jay announced.
"She was walking that way because you taught her how to take it!" Pat Halstead bellowed as he stood up off the couch and pointed an accusing finger at his youngest son. "If you had never walked that way when you took her to school, then we would never be in this position!"
"We?" Jay asked rhetorically. "I don't recall Y/N telling me that you were with her when she saw that sick son of bitch walking home with his weapons of choice! It's Y/N that's in this position! Not me, not you, not us, Y/N."
"She's my daughter!"
"Yeah, I gathered that," Jay scoffed. "At least you care about her...unlike how you weren't there for me and Will. Or, if my memory serves me correctly, it was when I was in my early teens when you stopped caring. So, I expect in the next two years that you'll stop taking good care of Y/N and stop showing up to her games, like you did for me and Will. Oh, and you'll start questioning her life choices, just like you did almost every damn day to both me and Will."
"It's not my fault that you made a stupid decision with your life and Will decided to leave and waste all his money and to do what? To go to Sudan and then to New York?"
"There you go again, same old same old. You want us to be here, but whenever we are, we just end up fighting."
"Okay, okay," Antonio butted in. "How about we all take a breath and then talk about what's gonna happen next."
Jay took a deep breath and rolled his eyes. Your dad sat back down on the couch and crossed his arms in front of him.
"Good," Antonio began. "Y/N give you anything else about what she saw upstairs other than what she told you over the phone?"
"No," Jay answered. "She just told me that she's really scared that Lonnie's gonna come after her. Noting more about what she saw."
"Jay?" you asked as you poked your head into the living room, duffle bag slung over your shoulder. "I'm ready."
You said goodbye to your dad and then followed Jay to your car. He explained that Antonio was going to come to his apartment just for a little while so that they could discuss how they were going to proceed with the information you had given them. But, that you should go to sleep when you got to his apartment because it was a school night.
"Do I have to go to school tomorrow?" you whined as you set your bag down next to the couch...which would also be your bed until all this was cleared up.
"I know you're not going to get a lot of sleep, but yeah, as much as it sucks, you have to go to school tomorrow."
It was nearing 12:30 and you had to be up for school at 6:00 since school started before 7:30 in the morning. You'd be lucky if you managed five hours of sleep.
"Please, Jay," you begged. "My first two classes are just choir and gym, so I can miss those. And, I'm pretty sure if you called me in it'd count as an excused absence. Please?"
"Fine," Jay conceded. "But just because I think it's stupid how early school starts."
You heard a knock on the door. "Be right there, Antonio!" Jay said, trying to keep his yelling voice at somewhat of a normal level since people in the other apartments were sleeping.
"I'm gonna go grab a blanket," you told Jay.
You grabbed a blanket and threw it on the couch as Jay went to answer the door and let Antonio inside.
"Jay, I'm stealing one of your pillows," you told him as you entered his bedroom area.
"Actually, you can take my bed for tonight," he suggested.
You cocked an eyebrow at him. In all the nights you had spent at Jay's apartment in the past few years when your dad had to work late or went out, you had always slept on that couch. And, it was because it was actually comfortable. (Jay's reasoning was that he didn't want to get one of his nightmares that happened a handful of times per year and break his hand from hitting the coffee table in his sleep because he was thinking that it was an enemy because he thought he was back in Afghanistan. But, of course, you didn't know that.)
"It's just because I need to talk to Antonio and I don't need you having easy access to the conversation."
You nodded, tiredness overtaking you. "Alright." You yawned. "I'm going to bed. 'Night guys."
Jay and Antonio both said goodnight and then you walked into Jay's bedroom area and slid the sliding doors closed. During that time, the two detectives each took a seat at the kitchen table.
"We can put a patrol car out in front of Lonnie's house," Jay suggested.
"You know we can't do that," Antonio told him.
"Well, why not? You know he's gonna kill again!" Jay resisted the urge to slam his fist down on the table.
"You have no solid proof. I know you believe Y/N, and I do, too, but we don't have proof. If we had cam or pod footage, we might be able to do that. But, as far as we know, we don't have that. Nothing's been reported or called in. Hell, for all we know Lonnie's doing a DIY project."
"So get his credit card records and security footage from the store," Jay growled.
"You know as well as I do Halstead, that we can't do that without a warrant. And for a warrant, we're gonna need sufficient evidence. And, the word of your sister just isn't gonna cut it this time. Sorry, man."
Jay sighed and put his head in his hands, then looked back up at Antonio. "I just can't let him do it. I can't let him kill another kid."
"I know. Believe me, neither you nor me want that, but for now, we just need to wait until the right time. And you, need to get some sleep."
"I guess you're right. Maybe sleep would help me figure out how to solve this thing."

Jay had just dropped you off at school--he had called the school and excused your absences from your first two classes--and was walking out of a small coffee shop a few blocks away from the district when his phone rang.
"What do you got, Jin?" Jay asked. Benefits of working in Intelligence and having a tech guy for the unit: getting him to dig into things under the table.
"That Lonnie Rodiger credit card you wanted me to track," Jin started on the other end of the line, "Just got a hit from a toy store downtown."
"Text me the address."
A few seconds later, Jin had texted Jay the address and he jumped in his car and made his way into the heart of downtown Chicago.
Then, he sat in his car and stared at the store, waiting for the scrawny, creepy-ass pedophile slash murderer to make his way out of it.
When Lonnie walked out, Jay just stared at him. If he got made, so what? He was in his car. He could say he was doing surveillance for another case that he couldn't talk about right now because it was an open investigation. But, he wouldn't be able to blame surveillance of an ongoing investigation for strangling Lonnie to death, killing him the exact same way as he had killed Ben Corson three years ago.
Lonnie was carrying a bag full of what Jay assumed were toys. The toys, the rope, the duct tape, Lonnie was going to strike again. And, Jay had to act fast to ensure that another kid didn't get their life taken away just because this bastard had sick, twisted fantasies.
Jay was about to call Jin back, see what else he could pull up on him, anything that gave him an excuse to call Atwater and Burgess to arrest him. But, his phone rang.
"Go for Jay," he answered.
"Where you at?" Voight asked on the other end of the line. "I know you came in late because of your sister, but I need you now."
"I'm on my way in," he lied.
"Good. We're in Chinatown. I'll send you the address."
"Oh, Sarge?"
"Yes, Halstead?"
"Do you mind if I leave for a bit around 2:15ish? It's just, Y/N has a doctor's appointment and my dad's working and I don't want her taking the bus--"
"Jay," Voight interrupted, "Take your sister to her appointment. I'll just send the address of where we're gonna be if we aren't at the district. Just, keep your phone on."
"Thanks, Sarge."
Of course, that appointment was a lie; Jay just wanted to pick you up from school and then drop you off at his apartment while he went back to work so that you wouldn't be at home where Lonnie could find you. But, Jay had to push that out of his mind right now because he was on another case with his unit that needed solving, his side case on Lonnie Rodiger needed to be put on the backburner...at least for the next few hours.
***
"Lonnie Rodiger's credit card," Jin said as Jay entered the tech room.
"Yeah, I know, I'm working on a court order so I don't get my ass handed to me by Voight, I know," Jay replied.
"Okay...you deal with that. All I was gonna say was that another hit came up from his card at a Home Depot in Humboldt Park. He bought..." Jin clicked some keys on his computer until the list of things Lonnie purchased popped up. "A two-person tent, a kerosene lamp, and some bug spray. A rapist-murderer planning a camping trip? Not much you can get him on with just that."
"Any chance he purchased rope and duct tape?" Jay asked.
Jin scrolled through the list of items again. "Not that I see here. Why?"
"Not important. Thanks for the help, Jin."
Jay walked back into the bullpen, about to grab his jacket and head into the locker room when Voight emerged from his office at the same time. "Halstead, my office."
"I told you to let the Rodiger thing go months ago," Voight told Jay when the door was securely shut.
"I have...for the most part." I have...until my sister got involved and told me he bought duct tape and rope and now she's staying at my place so that I can protect her from that sick-ass son of a bitch.
"If you're not straight with me, I can't protect you."
"You? Protect me? I don't need protecting, Sarge, but thanks for the offer. I'll keep it in mind if I  ever go off the rails and kill someone."
"Jay, listen to me! What the hell is going on with you? You got here later than usual today, which I know you said is because of your sister, but you look exhausted like you haven't slept in days. And don't think I didn't notice that you've been constantly checking your phone when we weren't out in the field."
Jay sighed. "I think Lonnie's gonna kill another kid."
"Jay, I know that kid's family was like your own. But, you gotta be careful. You've got eyes on you. And, it's not just me this time."
"Copy that." Then, Jay exited his sergeant's office, grabbed his jacket off his chair, and headed to the locker room. Damn, did he really want to go home after that conversation with his boss.
"You headin' to Molly's, Jay?" Adam asked as they grabbed their stuff from the locker room.
"Nah, man. I got some stuff I gotta take care of," Jay replied. "Maybe another night."
"If you say so."
***
You were sitting on the couch reading a book when you heard a knock at Jay's apartment door. "Y/N, it's Jay, open up."
You got up and unlocked the door, letting him into his own apartment. "Why didn't you just unlock it yourself? Or, did I get your only key?
"Nope, you got my spare. I have mine." He pulled his keyring out of the front pocket of his jeans and set it down on the counter. "Just didn't want to scare you is all."
"Thanks, greatly appreciated. What are you hiding behind your back? And what smells so good?" you asked, seeing as Jay hadn't moved his left hand from behind his back and was trying really hard to make sure you didn't see what was there. Even when he had walked inside the apartment from the hallway, he still somehow hid it behind his back and out of your view. And, the smell of greasy food was starting to waft around the apartment so you had a pretty good idea what he was hiding.
He pulled a takeout bag from behind his back. "I got us Arby's!"
"Really? Did you get me mozzarella sticks?" you asked trying to grab the bag from him, but he held it out of your reach.
Jay chuckled at your excitement. "Yes, I got you mozzarella sticks. Now, let me get this out of the bag and you can get the game set up?"
"Okay!" You sat on the couch and turned on the Blackhawks game that was going to start in five minutes. "It's ready!"
"Be right there!"
A minute later, Jay passed you a plate which contained an original roast beef and cheddar sandwich and of course, your precious mozzarella sticks and a few packs of Arby's and marinara sauce.
"Uh," Jay groaned as he lowered himself onto the couch.
"You're getting old," you laughed.
"I am not!" he protested.
"Yes, you are! Only old people sigh like that when they go to sit down!"
"Well, excuse me for having to chase psychos around the city for a living." You reached over and grabbed a few curly fries off his plate, hoping he was distracted enough by your old Jay comment that he didn't notice...he did. "Hey!"
"Oops." You squirted some Arby's sauce on your plate and dipped a curly fry in it. "Good." Jay just continued to stare at you. "Fine, here," you said as you handed him a mozzarella stick.
"You're not gonna offer me any marinara?"
You tossed him a pack. "Better?"
"Better." Both he and you turned your attention to the tv. "Remember, end of the second period, it's bedtime."
"Jay," you whined. "Please can I stay up and watch the entire game?"
"No, because I am not calling you in late tomorrow and getting to work later than usual because of it." Luckily today we didn't catch a case until around 10 o'clock this morning, so it didn't matter that I was late and tailing Lonnie anyway. "And, you're gonna be a grouch if you don't enough sleep."
"Jay! I am not grouchy!"
"Yes, Y/N, you are! Whoa, a fight!" And while your attention was quickly focused on the tv, Jay stole some of his curly fries back.
***
Jay walked into the district the next morning to be met with Erin and Alvin. "Did you guys catch the game last night?" he asked them as he slipped off his jacket and slung it over his desk chair. "Eighteen seconds into overtime, Kane scores a backhander. Guy's on fire this season."
Despite Jay telling you that you needed to go to bed after the end of the second period, the game was so good that he let you stay up to watch it all...the one caveat being that you had to get up in the morning with no complaint. And, you didn't complain one single time even though you almost fell asleep with your toothbrush hanging out of your mouth when you were getting ready this morning.
Neither Erin nor Alvin had said anything, they just stared at Jay with worried looks on both their faces. "What's with you two?" Jay furrowed his eyebrows and walked closer to them.
"Halstead," Voight said after he opened his office door.
Jay's eyes widened. Shit, what'd I do now?
"Commander," Jay said as he saw Commander Perry standing in Voight's office. So, even when I'm a grown man, there's still a version of the principal's office. Who knew? Except, this principal controls my job...which means he controls my money. Whatever he thinks I did, it wasn't me.
"Halstead. Have a seat," Commander Perry told the detective.
"I'll stand." Jay placed his hands on his hips.
"Okay then. Where were you last night after shift?"
"Home. Why?"
"So, you're telling me you didn't go out at all last night?"
"I started to drive home from work, but then I turned around because I thought my little sister might want Arby's for dinner. If you want to count a drive-thru as going out, then yes I went out."
"And after that?" Commander Perry prodded.
"Me and my sister watched the Hawks game and I was in bed by midnight."
Commander Perry picked up some black and white photos that were taken from traffic cam footage and held them out to Jay, pointing at specific a specific car. "This was taken last night, right as you pulled into that Arby's. That's Rodiger and that's you, right behind him."
"Okay, so I happened to be getting my takeout behind a pedophile. Maybe he just wanted some curly fries, Lord knows Y/N did when she stole some of mine last night."
"Halstead!" Voight barked. "This isn't a laughing matter! Now shut up and listen!"
Jay clasped his hands behind his back.
"Well, Detective, your alleged pedophile was found dead this morning."
"What?"
"So until this is straightened out, I suggest you find a better excuse than just watching a hockey game and eating fries with your impressionable little sister. Until then, you are officially stripped. Expect a call from Internal Affairs. They'll want to interview you as soon as possible."
"You mean they'll want to interrogate me as soon as possible."
"Jay!" Voight's voice boomed off the walls of the small office.
"I'm the one who wanted to stop that freak! And now I'm the target? Unbelievable!"
Jay flung open the door and was about to storm out when the Commander stopped him. "Halstead!"
"What? I tried to save my sister from this psycho because she saw him buy duct tape and rope and he knows that she saw him! So, excuse me for trying to make sure that my sister stays safe and doesn't end up like Ben Corson!"
"Y/N saw something?" Voight asked. "Why didn't you tell me? I could've helped you."
"I told Antonio, but that's only because we were at Molly's when Y/N called me freaking out. And that's why she's staying with me because Lonnie knows where we live and I didn't want to get a call saying that my sister was murdered and--"
"Halstead, if that's the truth then this isn't just based on your word. We have a witness now. So, I'll talk to Detective Dawson and you go pick up your sister from school. We need her here for questioning. But, you are still stripped until we get this all sorted out."
***
"Can you please send Y/N Halstead to the office please?" the office secretary's voice came over your classroom intercom. "She'll be leaving for the rest of the day."
You furrowed your eyebrows. Leaving for the rest of the day? What? The last time you had to leave for the rest of the day unexpectedly was when your mom died.
"I'll send her down," your teacher replied.
"Alright, thank you." Then, she turned to you. "I'll have your missed work ready for you on Monday, Y/N, and I can email the other teachers you have today that you'll be missing their classes as well if you'd like?"
"That'd be great. Thank you."
"Have a great weekend, Y/N."
"Thank you. You too."
Then, you grabbed your books and made your way to your locker. Once you put everything you needed into your backpack, you made your way to the office. At least you were missing math and science class...you hated both of those subjects. Will got the brains when it came to those two.
But, your relief was short-lived when you saw Kim Burgess and Kevin Atwater standing in the office. You frantically pulled the door open. "Did something happen to Jay? Is he okay? Did he get hurt?"
"No, no, nothing like that," Kim quickly reassured you. "We just need to bring you down to the district is all."
"Why?" you asked, drawing out the word.
"It's better if your brother and Voight explain this to you. But, you are not in any trouble, Jay's not in any trouble, and he's fine," Kevin answered.
"Okay..."
They quickly signed you out and the three of you made your way to the parking lot where their squad car was parked. "Ever been in a patrol car, Y/N?" Kevin asked.
"No," you answered, opening the door to the backseat and throwing your backpack in.
"Well, today's your lucky day. We'll even let you control the music." The three of you got in and Kevin turned on the car and started fiddling with the controls on the radio. "Just tell me to stop when you hear a song you like."
***
"Jay!" you yelled as you ran up the stairs to Intelligence, your backpack bouncing up and down with every step you took. Jay walked out of the break room. You ran to him, narrowly missing Commander Perry. "What's going on? I didn't know I'd need to leave school and then Kim and Kevin came to pick me up and I thought you might be hurt but they said you weren't and--"
"Whoa, whoa," Jay cut you off. "Y/N, slow down. I'm okay. Everything's okay. Voight and Commander Perry here just need to ask you a couple of questions."
"But, I didn't do anything wrong."
"You're not in trouble, kid," Voight said. "Like your brother said, we just need to ask you a few questions and Jay will be with you the whole time."
Since neither Jay nor Voight could get ahold of your dad to get permission to talk to you, they had allowed Jay to sign off on it. And, since you were a minor, the person who signed that paperwork had to be in the room with you the entire time they were talking to you.
"You hungry?" Commander Perry asked as you sat down and Jay stood behind you. "You can grab a snack from the vending machine before we start if you'd like."
It was only 9:00 am. "No thank you," you replied. "I had breakfast a few hours ago and I'm still full from that. Thank you, though."
"You're welcome." He and Voight sat down across from you. "Now, you're probably wondering why you're here," Commander Perry started. "Your brother mentioned that you saw Lonnie Rodiger buy rope and duct tape?"
Your eyes widened and you drew in a breath. "Is he after me? Did he try and break into mine and Dad's house, Jay, because he was looking for me?"
"No, it's nothing like that," the commander interjected before you got worked up even more. "We just wanted to ask you what you saw is all."
You looked to Jay and he nodded, giving you the go-ahead to tell the two men what you had seen when you were walking home from school a few days ago. So, you did just that. You told them about walking home from school and seeing Lonnie with rope and duct tape and him seeing you.
"And you told your brother this?" Commander Perry asked.
"Uh, yeah, I wasn't going to tell him because I didn't want him to freak out or anything, but he always told me that if I saw anything off with Lonnie to tell him. And, I couldn't sleep that night, so I called him really late and he and Antonio came over."
"And what happened next?"
"Jay said that he wanted me to stay at his house until this all blew over because Lonnie saw me. He saw me. And, he knows where I live."
"So, Jay was trying to keep you safe?"
You nodded. "He's even been picking me up from school because he doesn't want me going home--to mine and my dad's place that is--to wait for him to pick me up after he's done with work. He's worried about me."
"Did he do anything else? Take you anywhere in the two days you've been staying with him?"
"No, nowhere other than school."
"Do anything fun?"
"He brought home Arby's last night and he let me stay up late and finish the Blackhawks game! Dad never lets me do that! And, they even won in overtime! And, I stole some of his curly fries."
"Do you know if he left last night after you went to bed?" Commander Perry asked.
"No, he didn't."
"And how can you be so sure about that? You were sleeping weren't you?"
Jay clenched his fists at his sides. You were a kid and this wasn't a trial, it was just getting a statement from you, not putting you on the witness stand.
"Jay never leaves me when he watches me at night. Never has and probably never will. Even when his girlfriend called when he watched me when I was little, he'd either make her come over to our house or would tell her that he was playing with me."
Voight chuckled at how you were spilling bits and pieces of Jay's life before he became a cop and entered his unit. He knew that Jay would never tell him these things, so it was funny hearing how protective and soft the big-shot detective of one of the most elite units of Chicago was with his little sister.
"Okay, thank you," Commander Perry said. "Do you know why we're asking you these questions?"
You shook your head, no.
"Halstead, you want to explain this. We'll butt in if needed," he said. He didn't know how much you knew about this alleged pedophile and murderer, so he figured it would be best to hand Jay the lead on the explanation portion.
Jay sat down in the chair next to you. "Y/N, you're not in trouble. I promise you that."
"You already told me that," you pointed out.
"I know, but I wanted to tell you again."
You furrowed your eyebrows and cocked your head to the side. "Then, why are they asking me questions about Lonnie and about you? Did he kill someone again? Like he did to Ben?"
Jay swallowed. He wasn't about to tell you the details of how someone murdered Lonnie Rodiger. Despite knowing the details of Ben's murder, you didn't need more gruesome pictures of murder in your teenage mind. "Um, Lonnie was found dead last night."
"And they think you did it, don't they?"
Jay's jaw dropped, all his years of being a stone-faced Army ranger and detective flying out the window as you quickly put the pieces together of why you were being talked to by his sergeant and commander. "What? How- Why would you assume that?"
"Dad's not good with turning his Law and Order down when he watches it at night so sometimes when I can't fall asleep, I'll listen to it and I'll hear the interrogation or trial scenes." You shrugged. Then, you turned your attention to Sergeant Voight and Commander Perry. "If you think my brother did it, I can tell you that he didn't because he was home with me all night. I even woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and he was asleep on the couch with his mouth open and he was drooling." You scrunched up your nose in disgust at Jay's sleeping position last night.
"Alright, Sergeant, your unit can investigate this one. But, Halstead, not that I don't believe your sister, but you're still stripped until this gets all sorted out. Go home."
Jay nodded. "C'mon, Y/N. We can go grab lunch or something."
Jay ushered you out of the break room and you grabbed your backpack. "Halstead, what's going on?" Antonio asked, catching you and Jay on your way down the stairs.
"Just, give this case hell for me, Antonio, will you?"
***
"Is it wrong?" you asked Jay when you were driving away from the district. "That I'm glad Lonnie's dead that is?"
Jay sighed. "Listen, I know we shouldn't be glad about someone being dead, but in all honesty, kid, I'm glad he's dead, too."
"Because the world's a safer place?"
"Yeah." And because justice was served for the Corson family, but I'm not gonna talk to my little sister about killing someone for justice...I don't need her to turn into the female version of Hank Voight in twenty years.
"So, were you and Mouse glad when you killed the bad guys over in Afghanistan?"
Oh no, no, no, no, no. I am not about to have this conversation with her. I'm not about to have this conversation with anyone for that matter, much less with my very impressionable, middle-schooler, little sister. "What do you want for lunch? Mcdonalds? Burger King? Wendy's? Pizza Hut?"
"You never answered my question," you told him.
"And you never answered mine. So, what do you want for lunch?"
"Hmmm...I really like the chicken alfredo from Pizza Hut, so can we go there?"
"Pizza Hut it is."
"What are you gonna get? Wait, lemme guess...meat lover's pizza?"
"And, you would be correct."
You arrived at Pizza Hut, which was only half a block away from the Corson's. And, since it was also so close to your school, some high school seniors would come here for lunch...not that you had an open campus at school, but they'd dip out for lunch and then get back unnoticed before their next class. You wondered if you'd be brave enough to do that in high school. You didn't know and you had a few more years until you got to that grade anyway.
"Hey Detective Halstead," a woman greeted Jay.
"Oh, hey Rachelle," Jay said as you both walked up to the counter at Pizza Hut. "How's school going?"
"It's going great actually. And who's this?" she asked, motioning to you.
"This is my little sister, Y/N. Y/N, this is one of my best CIs, Rachelle."
"You're a CI? That's so cool! So you help my brother solve cases? He never tells me about anything he does, so what do you help him with?"
Jay placed a hand on your shoulder. "That's confidential information, kiddo. And don't go blabbing about her being a CI either, because she could get in trouble."
"Got it. She's just someone I know from coming here so much. I have no idea what you're talking about, Jay."
Jay laughed. "Alright, what can I get started for you two?" Rachelle asked.
"Actually, since you're here, I have a quick question for you."
"Okay, let's go around back," she replied, thinking he was going to ask her if she knew anything that might help them with a case.
"No, it's nothing like that. I was just wondering if you'd watch Y/N for a bit while I go run a quick errand? It'd be for twenty, thirty minutes tops."
She looked around the restaurant, it was practically empty. "Yeah, no problem. I can keep an eye on her."
"Awesome thanks. And, uh, she'll have the chicken alfredo and I'll have the meat lover's pizza."
Rachelle rang it up and then told Jay the total. He pulled out his wallet and paid for their food, not without placing a ten-dollar bill in the tip jar. "You didn't have to do that," Rachelle said.
"You're watching Trouble here for a bit, so yeah, I do."
"I am not trouble!" you protested. "Where are you going anyway?"
"Don't worry about it. I'll be back soon."
"But--"
"Hey, Y/N. You want a chocolate chip cookie? I think they just came out of the oven." You frantically nodded your head up and down. "Well, c'mon back here and I'll grab it for you."
She opened the piece of the counter that flipped up and you walked through. Then, she motioned for Jay to leave before you pressed him for more answers on where he was going.
***
"To be honest, I don't feel any sympathy," Danny Corson told Jay as he sat at the kitchen table next to his wife with Jay across from him. "Do the police have any idea who did it?"
Jay had come to the Corson household to tell them the news that Lonnie Rodiger was dead...and to ask Danny some questions that would not go on record.
"We're still trying to piece that together." Jay turned to the red-haired woman. "Gail, do you have ay milk for this?" he asked, holding out his coffee cup."
"Oh, yeah. Let me get it for you," Gail answered.
"Thank you," Jay said to Gail's retreating back as she left the table. Jay turned back to Danny. "They suspended me. They think I did it. So, if you did something, Danny, I need you to tell me now so that we can figure this out together."
"Jay, I have been fantasizing about it for years, but I didn't do it. After all you've done for this family though, if you need me to confess, then I will."
"No, no you will not. I will not let you, or me for that matter, go down for something neither of us did."
"So, you have no idea who did it?"
"At the moment, no."
Jay's phone rang and he held up a finger to tell Danny he'd just be a second. But, then he looked at who was calling him and he practically froze.
"Jay, you okay?" Danny asked.
"Uh, yeah, yeah, I'm fine." He accepted the call and placed his phone to his ear. "Rachelle? What's going on? Is Y/N okay?"
"Physically she's fine," she answered. "But, there's this guy yelling at her asking where you are and--"
"Tell me where he is! Your brother! My son is dead because of him!" Jay heard through the phone.
Phil Rodiger.
Jay drew in a breath. "I'm on my way."
He hung up and then turned to Danny and Gail. "I gotta go, I'm sorry. If I find out anything, you'll be the first to know." And then he ran out the door and ran as fast as he ever has to the Pizza Hut half a block away.
***
"He didn't do it!" you yelled. "He was home with me all night!"
"Yeah right! He probably told you to say that!"
"Y/N! Don't say another word!" Jay sprinted over to the booth where you were sitting, your pasta halfway eaten.
"You! You killed him!"
"Phil, we're in a public place. The cops can get called for a disturbance." Jay flicked his eyes to Rachelle and she nodded, picking up her phone.
"Fine! Then let them call the cops! I'll tell them that you killed him! You killed my son!"
He took a step closer to the side of the booth that you were sitting in and Jay quickly placed himself between you and Lonnie Rodiger's father. "You know what? I may have not killed him, but whoever did, did everyone in this world a real favor! Killing a pedophile and a murderer? I'd like to give the guy who killed your sick-ass bastard of a son a medal when they find him!"
"Jay!" you yelled, grabbing the back of his shirt and tugging it so that he would turn his attention back to you.
"Y/N, this is grown-up stuff. Butt out!" He turned back to Phil. "Lonnie brought this on himself and you know it!"
You saw a few people from the Intelligence Unit walking up to the building out of the corner of your eye. "Jay, shut the hell up!"
"You killed him!"
"For the last time, I didn't kill your sorry excuse for a son!"
"Police! Break it up!"
Jay was yanked away from you by none other than Antonio Dawson. Adam and Voight had each grabbed one of Phil's shoulders to keep him at bay. Erin knelt in front of you.
"Are you alright, Y/N?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine."
"What the hell, Halstead?" Antonio yelled.
"Wre're taking you in," Voight told Phil Rodiger.
"Am I under arrest?"
"No, we just have some questions about last night we want to ask you is all. Why? Should you be under arrest?"
"No, but he should! I know you did it--"
"We'll talk to him," Voight said. "Don't you worry about that." He turned to Antonio. "You and Lindsay got this, bro?"
"Yeah, we got this," Antonio answered.
Voight nodded and then he and Ruzek escorted Phil Rodiger out of the building.
Antonio waited until Voight's car was safely out of the parking lot, before trying to lead Jay out of the building.
"Dude, I don't need a police escort. I can drive my car back home just fine," Jay protested.
"Jay, just come on. Or do I need to put you in cuffs?" He pulled his handcuffs out of his pocket and allowed them to dangle off his pointer finger.
"Tony, not here," Erin warned. "Not with Y/N watching."
You gasped. They weren't going to arrest Jay, were they? No, they wouldn't. They couldn't.
"Let's just go out to the car," Antonio said.
Once you were all in the car, Antonio driving, Erin in the passenger seat, and you and Jay in the back, did Jay finally address the elephant in the room...or, well, the elephant in the car. "Just so we're clear, I didn't kill Lonnie Rodiger. If I was gonna kill him, I would've done it the night he raped and murdered an eleven-year-old Ben Corson! I was this close, too!"
Your breath caught in your throat. You had assumed he had been raped, hell you had heard Jay talk about it with Gail and Danny, once with your dad, when they thought you were too far out of earshot to hear or thought that you were asleep. But, hearing Jay say it out loud, right in front of you, made it more real than hearing it when you weren't supposed to. And, hearing Jay say that had thoughts about killing Lonnie before...you didn't know how to feel about that. You had wanted him dead, just like Jay had (and how the Corson's probably did as well) but you never thought Jay would actually admit to wanting to kill him, much less say that he had been close to doing it.
"Shit, Y/N, I'm sorry I never told you about that," Jay said, his voice much quieter now. "I just, I didn't know how to tell you and you were ten, so you shouldn't have even known what rape was and I didn't want to explain it to you under those circumstances--"
"I knew," you told him.
"What?" he gasped as he furrowed his eyebrows. "How?"
"I heard you talking to the Corson's once when you thought I couldn't hear you and once when you were talking to Dad when you  both thought that I was asleep."
"Well, either way, I'm sorry you had to hear it from me like this. And, I'm sorry he had to go through that."
"Me too," you whispered.
Erin leaned back and handed Jay a file folder. He raised an eyebrow.
"Lonnie Rodiger's homicide file," Antonio told him. "If anyone asks, no ones knows how you got that."
"That goes for you, too, Y/N. As far as you're concerned, you don't know what a homicide file is."
"What's homicide?" you joked. "I don't even know what that is."
"Works for me," Erin said as Jay flipped open the file.
***
"What'd he say? Jay asked, cornering Antonio in the locker room.
"Not here," Antonio told him and led him to the basement.
Once the two detectives were safely in the basement, Antonio let Jay in on the statement that Phil Rodiger had just given the Intelligence Unit about Lonnie Rodiger's murder.
"Can I run something by you?" Jay asked.
"Shoot."
"So, Phil Rodiger gives his statement, and he says...that his son never came home that night," Jay took a deep breath, hoping he wasn't going to get in trouble for saying this. "But I know he did. I may have not gone straight to my apartment after I got takeout for me and Y/N before we watched the Hawks game together."
"I'll talk to Voight. But, I think Y/N needs some help with homework, so go be the good big brother and do that." Antonio clapped Jay on the back and then started up the stairs.
***
"We're good to go," Antonio told him. "But, we got a problem."
"Which is?" Jay asked, raising an eyebrow.
"They kicked him."
"The hell do you mean they kicked him?"
"I mean, they don't think he did it. But, Jin's getting a location on him." Antonio's phone binged. "And here is that location. Erin, you riding with me? Halstead will follow. I got the photos."
Erin picked up her coat. "Ruzek, watch the kid, okay?"
"You got it," he answered, walking over to the break room.
"Ruz, please do not corrupt my sister."
"I'm hurt Jay, really. That hurt, man," he joked.
The three detectives left the district and made their way to a bar where Phil Rodiger was sitting and drinking alone. The three had agreed that only Jay should go in so that he wouldn't get spooked and try to run off.
Jay entered the bar and took a seat next to Phil. He sighed and rolled his eyes, but started Jay on his reasoning anyway. "In the statement you gave the detectives, you said that you didn't see Lonnie after 10:00 pm, that he went for a drive and he never came back." Jay placed a photo on the bar in front of Phil. "I was following Lonnie that night, and not long after these pictures were taken, I watched him walk into your house. Lonnie got tired of hunting, so he went home. And according to the time of death, he was killed an hour after I took this photo." Phil Rodiger just stared at the photo as Jay turned his attention away from it and onto Phil. "Your son wasn't killed in the park, was he?"
Phil stood up and brought his face close to Jay's. "You got no idea what you're talking about."
Then, he started to walk away, but Jay got up and followed him. Jay was pretty sure his cop instincts were right once again. "Phil, where you going?" Jay paused and looked at him. Phil was looking at the floor and avoiding eye contact the way only a guilty man would. "You killed him."
"He was sick."
Yeah, we all knew that. Took you long enough, Jay thought to himself.
Then, Erin and Antonio rushed in and put Phil in cuffs.
***
Half an hour later, Jay was standing in front of the one-way window with Voight, watching Erin do her thing in the interrogation room.
"I found some pictures on his computer," Phil told Erin. "Boys, same age as the Corson kid. Then I- I confronted him."
"How did you kill Lonnie?" Erin asked, straight to the point. The faster this got straightened out, the faster Jay'd get his badge and gun back.
"We fought. I picked up a belt, and I just- I just kept choking him." Phil tried to keep the tears back, but he couldn't. What kind of father would kill their own son? But then again, most fathers didn't have sons who were monsters.
"And then you dropped his body in the park?"
"Yes."
Jay walked out of the interrogation room the minute he heard those words. He knew Voight had heard the same things he had. So, when Voight motioned for Jay to step into his office, this time, Jay didn't hesitate.
Voight pulled open a drawer and grabbed Jay's badge and gun. "Good to have you back."
"Thanks, Sarge."
"Now, go and get your sister out of here. I think she's bored out of her mind."
Jay chuckled and clipped his badge onto his jeans and holstered his gun. "His dad did it?" you asked, exiting the break room.
"How did you know that?"
"Ruzek told me!"
"Dude! I told you not to corrupt her!"
"Technically, I didn't corrupt her. I told her the truth," he defended.
"Fine, whatever. Mind giving us a ride so we can go get my car back from Pizza Hut?"
"Yeah, no problem."
"I call shotgun!" you yelled and started to race down the stairs.
"No fair!" Jay exclaimed as he chased after you.
***
You and Jay were crouched in front of Ben's grave, the flowers you had planted four days ago brightening the dismal place up a bit. "They got him, Ben, they got him," you explained. "Jay almost got in trouble for it, but it turns out that Lonnie's dad did it." You paused as if waiting for Ben's reaction. You knew he would be saying something along the lines of no way where he was. "I know, no way, right?"
"You okay?" Jay asked as he placed a hand on your shoulder.
You had stopped talking after you asked that rhetorical question. You had no idea what to say now. Ben was still gone.
"I guess it doesn't feel as good as I thought it would," you said, turning your attention to Jay. "It's as if I thought that finding who did this would bring Ben back. I feel relief, but that's it."
"Hey, no matter what you're feeling, it's okay. The way this went down today and the past few days don't matter. We got justice for Ben and that's all that matters. You got justice for Ben. You were the one who saw Lonnie with that rope and duct tape and told me. You were the reason this entire case got off the ground."
"Really?"
"Really," Jay confirmed.
"Well, at least it's justice."
"At least it's justice," Jay echoed.
A/N: Thank you for the amazing feedback on the first installment of this series I posted a few days ago! Your comments really got me motivated to write this one! But, I have some bad news, which is that since I have exams in a week and a half, I won't be posting for at least two weeks, probably closer to two and a half.
Anyway, thank you for reading, and please vote and comment! Reading your comments really gets me motivated to write...even though the next chapter will have to wait a while since I have exams.

I Hate Everything About You - Dabi
Tumblr media
warnings: ANGST, smut, daddy kink, mentions of rape,violence, AND swearing (cause im a potty mouth)
author’s note: this lil story is inspired by my favorite song I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace. im a lil emo bitch ok? I recommend listening to the song to get a better perspective of how the emotions of the lyrics and the story goes hand in hand. the chorus goes like “I hate everything about you. why do i love you?” and I immediately thought of something angsty and raw to write. hope yall enjoy! this one might be a little long.
summary: You and Dabi have worked together as villians for as long as you can remember but you two don’t get along at all. is this truly hatred or is this repressed feelings coming to surface?
You hated heroism. You viewed it as weak and meaningless. When both of your parents were murdered by an anonymous killer and no one came to their rescue when they could very well have been saved, something dark took over your spirit. You snapped. At the tender age of 17, your parents did not receive justice for the act of violence committed against them. The police told you there “wasn’t enough evidence” and that the killer had most likely killed himself.
There were simply too many holes in the case for it to be solved. Obviously this infuriated you. So much in fact that you planned to blow up the entire police precinct.
And you did.
Now being on the run at only 17 you fell into a life of crime, committing yourself to being a villain who killed police officers off duty earning yourself the villain name “Cop Killer” from the authorities. Not to mention your very dangerous quirk called “Leech”. You were able drain anyone you gazed at of their blood, the gaze having to be completely focused on the person’s eyes. Once concentrated enough it becomes hard for the person to look away from you. To trigger your quirk, you have to say the word “leech” in order to essentially stop the flow of someone’s blood to their heart; their blood being extracted from their veins to yours. The blood only made your quirk stronger as you can now manipulate it and use it in combat. You had enough control to where you could take a little or take it all. The stolen blood was also good for increasing your stamina and speed for a short period, manifesting a weapon with the blood you stole and of course leeching the person of their blood entirely, instantly killing them. The murders you committed granted you the number one spot of Japan’s wanted list. You were also the youngest assasin in Japan at the time so you had to move around a lot. You spent your teenage years living in abandoned buildings and sketchy motels; robbing, stealing and of course murdering for survival.
The day you met the League of Villains was your 23rd birthday. As a treat to yourself, you had cornered one of the dirtiest cops you had ever encountered. He was a known sex trafficker, a thief as well as a disgusting rapist. You had him right where you wanted him; wearing a disguise to hide your true visage in order to avoid being recognized. You had pretended to be a love interest to the cop, sitting in the seedy hotel room he rented to have a little “privacy” with you.
“Oh baby, you don’t know what you do to me. I wanna see that pretty little mouth of yours around my cock. Get on your knees for me.” The police man said, the sleazy bastard unbuckling his belt. You nod, secretly being disgusted by this man. But you had to keep your cool. You got down on your knees and took his hard cock into your hands and pumped, looking him directly in the eyes as you did so.
“Yeah, baby. You’re so hot.” He groaned, keeping his eyes locked on yours almost instinctively as sweat collected on his brow.
“Thanks.. but your time’s up, you sick fuck.” you say, standing up on your feet. You straddle him, watching the cop’s eyes become terrified as he finally realizes who you really are.
“Leech.” You say as you watched your quirk take effect. The reaction was instant as he starts to gasp and grab at his heart, clinging onto his last minutes of life as he died on the hotel bed. You moan as his blood is transferred into yours, creating a dagger out of his blood. You slice his neck, licking whatever was left off of his cold throat. You laugh, searching his dead body to take whatever he had on his person; money, personal possessions and his gun. Just as you’re about to get up and leave you get the feeling that you aren’t alone. You turn and see none other than the villain you had seen all over local news.
Shigaraki.
He chuckles dryly, admiring your work at killing the cop underneath you.
“Well done, little girl.” He said, peering over your shoulder to get a good look at the mess you made of him. You go to ask how the hell he got into the room until you hear the sound of police sirens blaring outside.
“We have the entire hotel surrounded. There are Heros on the way to assist us. Surrender now or face the consequences.” You hear the cops say on a megaphone.
“Shit.” You mumble, quickly grabbing your things; planning your escape in your head.
“Listen, I’ve admired your work since your attack on that police station, Cop Killer.” Shigaraki said. “We could use someone like you in the League of Villains. My friend Kurogiri here can get us both out of here in one piece. But only with your consent of course.”
You think for a moment. You’d rather make a smooth escape than risk being arrested. So you agree.
“We’ll explain everything once we get back to base.” Kurogiri says, morphing himself through the cracks of the door.
Kurogiri takes both you and Shigaraki and consumed you both into his portals, leading you to the secret hide-out of the League of Villains. You look around, your vision a little hazy from being in the dark portal. You see a few other people standing in the lobby. A guy with a weird mask on with two sides on it eagerly introduced himself as Twice. You see a cute girl that looked a little young to be in a place like this.
“Toga Himiko. Nice to meet ya. Hey, you’re way prettier in person. The police drawing of you is really unflattering.” She says, waving at you. You smile meekly as you turn away to see this guy standing at the corner of the bar. He had burn scars all over his face and neck, dark hair and the most mysterious eyes you’ve ever seen. You met his gaze when you noticed him staring at you, sizing you up. You found his stare threatening and kind of alluring. You almost couldn’t look away.
“Don’t stare at me for too long, Cop Killer. I know what those eyes can do.” He said sarcastically, not even caring to introduce himself. He felt familiar, like you’ve known him for a long time. You rolled your eyes and walked over to Shigaraki.
“Look, if you think just because you got me out of a tight spot that I’m just gonna beg to work for you, you’re wrong. I work alone.” You said, adjusting the top of your outfit.
“I know. But today that changes. You see, we’ve been watching you, Cop Kill-” He says, interrupted by your loud groan.
“My name is Y/N. Please just call me by my name. My mother didn’t name me Cop Killer.” You demand, folding your arms in protest.
“But that’s what you are, Y/N. Don’t be ashamed.” Shigaraki says, inching closer to you. “Look, the services of the League of Villains aren’t free. We helped you. Now you help us. You understand don’t you, Y/N?”
You sigh, wishing you had just leapt out of a nearby window back at the hotel instead of taking help from this creep.
“Fine.” You say, looking down at your shoes.
“Wonderful.” Shigaraki says, walking away from you. “Oh and one more thing. I hate back talkers.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A few months pass and you’re well acquainted with all the villains of the organization. You were all usually partnered up for missions; you always alternating between Toga and Dabi, who had finally told you his “name”. You grew to be pestered by Dabi. You’d much rather be paired up with Toga than Dabi any day since you and Dabi just could not get along, you both arguing like an old married couple at every mission. You couldn’t stand him. His cockiness, his elitist attitude, his aloofness. He hated you because of your attitude, you thinking you knew better than everyone else. He thought you were a spoiled brat who hasn’t done anything remarkable to even earn a spot in the League. To you, he was everything you despised about some men.
One night you were all playing a friendly game of Blackjack; which seemed to be a ritual between the members. Shigaraki didn’t bother playing but Kurogiri always seemed to watch.
“Ugh.. Fold. What do I have to do to get a decent fucking hand, huh?” Twice said, his two voices seeming to contrast in differing personality. You laugh, slamming down a perfect hand worth 21.
“I stand, bitches.” You say, winning yet another round.
“I’m bored.” Dabi says, standing up and leaving the table.
“Oh don’t be like that, Dabi. Come back!” Toga says, throwing her cards down. She sighs and stands up from the table. “Well, I guess that’s it. I’m goin to bed. Nighty night, Y/N. Twice.” Everyone went their separate ways. You walk into your room and change into something more comfortable and walk outside to get some air. To your dismay, Dabi was already standing outside in the same spot you liked to chill and think.
“Yo.” He says, referring to you. You roll your eyes and walk over to him.
“What?” You say, annoyed to the point where you just want to turn around and go back inside.
“Aw, what’s wrong, Cop Killer? Don’t like me?” He asks, inching closer to you to whisper in your ear. You stand still for a moment and lunge at him, grabbing his throat and pushing him against the wall.
“Stop fucking testing me.” You say sternly, looking him deeply in the eyes with the intention to kill.
“Careful, little girl. You might just turn me on.” He says, grabbing your arm and pushing you back. You freeze, stunned at the sudden harsh movement from the tall man in front of you. ”You’re 5′4′’, sweetheart. If I wanted to, I could end you without even using my quirk. You ‘oughta be nicer to me.”
You get angrier by the second, yelling and screaming about how much you hate him all while trying to take jabs at him, throwing punches at his face. Dabi dodges every swing, smirking at your abilities. He was impressed, but he’d never tell you that.
“Huh. Keep it up and you might actually hit me.” He teased, swinging back at you, landing right on your jaw. You stumble and collect yourself, charging towards him once more. You were certain you’d hit him, the blood from someone you’ve killed earlier that day increasing your speed.
“Fuck you.” You hiss, taking another swing at him and connect, landing right on his cheek. He smirks, wiping blood from his mouth. You get cocky and go for another punch only for him to dodge you. He grabbed your arm and twisted it, pinning you against the brick wall in front of him with your back facing him.
“When?” He asked in your ear, sending shivers down your spine. You hated that he could so easily overpower you, making you despise him even more. He releases you from his grip and stands close to you; you feeling the warmth of his skin radiating from his body.
“Listen. You hate me and quite frankly I can’t stand you either. But you don’t see me attacking you. Try it again and I won’t be so nice next time, little girl.” Dabi said, grabbing your face to daringly look into your poisonous eyes to mock your quirk. You focus, ready to end this asshole. Suddenly his lips crash into yours. At first, you’re disgusted and fucking pissed. But then you feel yourself start involuntarily melting into his kiss. So you kiss him back with no shame, all bitter feelings leaving your mind as the kiss gets more intense. You feel his hands groping and caressing your body, his hands exploring to stop at your neck; wrapping it around. You gasp, feeling yourself get hot.
“The first time I saw you, I thought you were the hottest girl I’ve ever seen. And then you spoke. And I couldn’t stand you. But I couldn’t shake this feeling of wanting to bend you over and punish you for your slick mouth. You need a good hard dicking to keep your mouth shut and I’m the one to give it to you. That’s what you want too, isn’t it?” He asked, starting to kiss your neck harshly. You moan, embarrassed at his words. He was right. You found him attractive as soon as you saw him but his attitude rubbed you the wrong way. But right here and now, you realize that you might have been hiding your true feelings behind a façade of hatred. You wanted him too and you couldn’t stand it.
“I’m talking to you, Y/N.” He persists, biting into your neck. You mewl, shocked at how good he was making you feel. You almost couldn’t believe you were in this situation. It was confusing but formalities could come later. You wanted him now.
“Yes, Dabi. I wanted you to fuck me the first time I saw you.” You say quietly, feeling him reach under your shirt and bra to grab at your naked breast. You bit your lip, feeling slick pool between your legs as you fall victim to his touch.
“Get inside and go in my room. I expect you to have nothing on when I get there. Understood?” He demands, pinching your nipple lightly. You gasp, nodding at his request.
“Words. You’ve already made me angry with that stunt you pulled punching me in the face. I wouldn’t try me further.” He said, grabbing your hair and pulling it to expose more of your neck. You moan, unable to control yourself suddenly. It’s like he knew exactly what to do to turn you on. Fucking asshole.
“Y-Yes, daddy- I-I mean Dabi.” You flush. Damn. You couldn’t believe you let that slip. He laughs, kissing your lips once more as he lets you go.
“Daddy works just fine.” Dabi says smirking, watching you stumble towards the door to go back inside. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. You knew you should just go into your own room but, God you wanted to see what he’d do to you for almost punching him. You wondered how rough he’d be, your panties soaking at the thought as you gulp and open his room door. You sat on his bed and took off your clothes, leaving your underwear on to tease him. Suddenly his door opens and it’s him. He looked you up and down, loving what he saw. But to his dismay you had on too many clothes still.
“I thought I told you to get naked, little girl.” Dabi said, pushing you onto his bed. He stood above you, running his fingers down your stomach and stopping at the waistband of your panties. You shudder at his cold fingers.
“You never said naked.” You tease, looking back at him. He frowns, shaking his head.
“Man, you just love pushing my buttons don’t you? You’re gonna regret teasing me so much.” He says, pulling your panties down roughly, holding them up to his face. He smirked at the wet spot he saw on them, throwing them onto the ground. “This is gonna be fun.”
You hiss as he slid one measly finger inside you while rubbing your bundle of nerves with his thumb, the single finger not being enough to satisfy your craving for that certain pleasurable stretch. Somehow though, Dabi was making you feel good with that one finger. You roll your hips for more friction only to have Dabi hold you down with his other hand.
“Stop squirming so much. It makes you look desperate, doll.” He teased earning a whine from you. As if to be a little forgiving he adds another finger, watching your face twist up in pleasure. You were visually trying to hide your moans, Dabi not liking that at all.
“Come on now. It’s no fun if you don’t scream for me. Let everyone here know how good I make you feel.” He said, halting his movements. You nod, moaning loudly as he adds a third finger. Any shame or embarrassment is gone as he worked you up to your first orgasm. You grab at his sheets, trying to move for more friction only to once more be overpowered by Dabi.
“You don’t listen too well do you? I said stop squirming. You’ll have your fill but good girls wait to cum. Understand? I expect you to address me correctly this time.” He says, grabbing your face to make you look at him. Something about knowing you could kill him with your eyes turned him on, because he knew he could keep you from doing so. All he had to do was please you, knowing you won’t be able to focus on anything but screaming his name let alone his eyes.
“Y-Yes daddy.” You mewl, your eyes rolling back as he pulled out one of your breasts, sucking on your nipple harshly. The sound of your moans was music to Dabi’s ears, the only thing he ever wanted to hear come out of your mouth. He cooed praises into your ear, telling you hot sexy you are and how et your pussy is just for him. He crawls on top of you, pulling his fingers out of you as you whine at the sudden loss. He kissed you, ripping your bra off. He sat up and stared at the gorgeous naked woman underneath him.
“You’re so hot when you’re not talking shit.” He says, playing with your boobs. He was unsure of where to start. He wanted to please every inch of your lovely curves, his eyes drinking in your hips up to your beautiful breasts. He nearly drooled at the sight of them, your nipples seeming to perk up when he looked at them. You stare back at the man on top of you, his scars almost complimenting his skin as you watched him take off his shirt. You bit your lip as you feel a nice sized bulge grind up against your dripping core. You didn’t even notice that his pants were off, drooling at the sight of his body overpowering yours. He grinded up against you, leaning in close to your ear.
“Ready to get fucked, sweetheart?” He asked, nibbling on your ear lobe.
“Yes, god, yes!” You gasp, feeling him take off his boxers. He positioned his dick at your entrance, tapping it against you to tease you. You moan, going to grab his cock and shove it inside you but you think twice, already in trouble with him. Dabi smirks, excited to break you as he shoved himself inside you and started to rut his hips into you. You moan sinfully at the sudden stretch, loving how he filled you. You feel him speed up, not even fully adjusted to his length as you clawed at his back for dear life.
“You’re takin me so well, doll.” He said, grabbing your neck to lightly choke you. Your eyes roll back as you reveal a sinful ahegao face while he pounds you senseless. You’re moaning his name and telling him how good he feels inside you, cussing and screaming into the air as you feel yourself coming close to cumming.
“C-Can I-?” You ask, unable to finish your sentence as you feel yourself clenching around him. Dabi is relentlessly prodding at your g-spot, causing you to see stars as he notices he’s hitting that special spot. He smirks and angles himself so that he’s repeatedly hitting that spot, watching you cover your mouth as you scream. He snatched your hand away from your mouth and pinned it above your head.
“Tell me you’re sorry for punching me, kitten.” He demands, harshly pinching your nipples. You shake your head no to tease him. “No? Must need more convincing, huh brat?” He pulls out of you, you letting out a pathetic sob at the loss. He roughly flips you on your stomach and plants a hard smack on your ass. You yelp, your pussy aggravated as it throbs at the feeling of pleasure. He yanks you towards him and shoves himself back inside you, you laying flat on your stomach. You kick and scream under him, feeling him so deep it blinds you.
“Oh my god, daddy!” You whine, shoving your face into your pillow as he assaults your g-spot.
“Say it.” He demands, landing another hard smack on your ass this one sure to leave a mark.
“I-I’m sorry! Fuck, I’m sorry!” You scream, desperate for release.
“Good girl.” He hisses. Dabi grabs your hair and lifts your head off the pillow wanting to hear the last moans you can give before you cum.
“Go ‘head and cum for me. You’ve earned it.” He says. And just like that you clench around him hard, your orgasm washing over your body as you cum all over his dick. He rides out your orgasm, only to continue pounding you earning a sharp yelp from you as you throw your head into the pillow again.
“You didn’t think it was over did you? That’s cute.” He said, taking you further. At this point you’re overstimulated, the pleasure almost painful as he worked you to another orgasm.
“God, I love you!” You scream to his delight as you cum quicker than your mind can keep up.
“I love you too. Even though you’re fucking annoying.” He hisses, unable to hold himself back anymore. He cums hot inside you, grunting as he slaps your ass one last time before pulling himself out. You moan softly, breathing heavily as he cleaned you up. He kissed up your body, you unable to move from being completely fucked out of your mind.
“When you socked me, I knew you were a keeper.” He laughed.
“Shut up.” You say, smiling into your pillow.
“HEY, YOU TWO DONE IN THERE? YOU COULD HAVE WOKEN UP THE ENITRE CITY WITH ALL THAT RACKET!” Twice shouted through the walls, turning your face red with shame.
“SHUT UP AND MIND YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS!” Dabi yelled back, rubbing soft circles on your ass to soothe his harsh marks on both cheeks.
bitch i.. i’m sick.
Ugh.
I've thought about this for a bit now, and that's really the best, most succinct, answer I can provide. However, this is a blog about me ranting about things, so we can't have that.
 I suppose to start with I'll say that Dramione is a popular ship not just in Harry Potter. You see Dramione's in disguise all the time across every fandom. It's the ship in which our intelligent, female, lead who often masquerades as an SI ends up with the male somewhat villain who's spicy but not too spicy.
 It's enemies to lovers, sometimes mixed in with betrayal, and a whole lot of taboo attraction.
 And it kills something inside me every time I come across it.
I think it's very damning evidence that on the HP rec list the other day, while I had Tomione which I also loathe, there was not one Dramione fic. Not a single, damn, one.
So, why does it bother me?
Well, I guess to break it down, it comes down to both Hermione and Draco.
Obviously, I mean, they are the heart of the ship, right? Hermione falls into the usual fanfiction Hermione trap: she becomes the fandom bicycle to profess who the author admires and often wants to be. She's softened down into "film Hermione", where her hard edges and frankly horrifying decisions disappear, we're told over and over again how wonderfully brilliant she is and how nobody understands or respects how brilliant she is, she becomes very pretty and loses that obnoxious personality edge that drove everyone away in canon, and she's usually just this feel good protagonist who is smarter than everyone else.
The author may try to convince me Hermione's edgy and perhaps in some cases a little dark, they may try a little too hard in fact, but Hermione usually becomes so palatable she's practically tasteless. Granted, this isn't a problem solely in the realm of Dramione, it's actually nearly every fic with Hermione, but it does come up there a lot.
Then we get to Draco, oh Draco. Draco usually loses all sight of his original personality.
Remember that ridiculous kid who pretended he couldn't use his arm for months because he was convinced this would help his father get Hagrid fired (bitch, Lucius doesn't need that to get Hagrid fired)? Remember the guy who dressed up as a dementor because he was terrified Harry would win a stupid quidditch game? Remember that kid who did pretty much anything ever in the books, had "wait until my father hears about this!" as a catch phrase, and just sneers at everything? Remember that guy?
Congrats, he's now your sexy love interest. Enjoy.
Dramione authors to a tee completely forget what Draco was like in the books. His pinched features are gone (indeed, he is now the most beautiful man to ever grace Hogwarts), his sneering jeering attitude is gone and he's somehow managed to become witty, his constant stupidity and propensity to get into mischief in his endless quest to goad Harry Potter is gone. Instead we usually get this guy who's one cool, dark, dude who is attracted to Sexy Hermione despite himself. He's surrounded by edgy, dark, friends who are suddenly not the Pansy Parkinson we know and love from the books. Draco is made even blander and more tasteless than Hermione.
So we have these two bland people, mixed together like porridge, where one is sexy smart female lead and the other is sexy dark bad boy racist (if the author doesn't wipe that away completely) domestic terrorist (if the author doesn't wipe that away completely either).
Granted, I do think if Hermione and Draco stayed the way they were in canon they probably wouldn't end up together. Hermione would never deign to date Death Eater scum and Draco would never rock the boat by dating Hermione even if he wanted to. Which he wouldn't, because ew muggleborn.
That said, the fic of book!Hermione and book!Draco having a brief dating period would be hilarious. And probably end in Hermione's terrifying vengeance upon Draco that I can't even imagine but will be probably 500 years of endless pain and torment. This is the girl who gets Umbridge raped by centaurs gleefully, I can't imagine what she'd do as a jilted lover. Just that it would be out of this world.
taglist: @njrwifey @danietoww04 [If you want to be added, just let me know :)]
You ran away from the man who tried to take an advantage of you. You stabbed him and escaped. Escaped to the arms of the handsome captain who was even worse than the man you just killed.
Part 1 // Part 2 // Part 3 // Part 4
Tumblr media
What will happen if you try to leave the ship? Only Jungkook and the two men that brought you here know about you. If you pretend to be a prostitute saying you want to leave, there is no way they would say no. All you needed to do was use your charm. You doubted you had it but still. You had to try. You walked towards the few men you saw on board while unbuttoning the shirt you borrowed. “Hello there!” You tried to put on the sweetest smile. When men noticed your presence, the serious frowns turned into smirks. The confidence you almost had disappeared once you saw them coming closer. “The captain Jeon asked me to leave the boat after I get dressed but as you see, he was very rough last night and I had to borrow his clothes.” You tried to sound calm but provocative, just like a prostitute would be. The men were looking at your body hungrily but knew better than to touch something that belonged to their captain. They bowed their head and the shortest of them made his way towards the opening through which you could finally go out, to find the freedom. The man lent you his hand for you to stand steadily on the ground and you exhaled deeply. Finally. He asked you if you wanted him to walk you home but you refused. You did not want him or Jungkook to know where you went. You did not want him to find you. You asked him to find you a carry, he smiled and nodded running towards the closest one. You were relieved that he came soon and smiled at him. “Thank you.” That was all you said and sat into the carry that man ordered. You told the carter the address and felt the swift move of the carry pulling you towards the direction you did not want to go to but had no other place to go to. At least you were going away from this place. Away from him.
You decided to go back to your aunt until you find yourself a job, that would ensure you can leave her forever. For the first time, you were glad that your aunt did not live exactly in the town. You sighed knowing that you should leave the town as soon as possible, while Jungkook is still there with his ship. The memories of the day before came haunting you. You tried to think that you did not intentionally kill the man. You killed that man by accident, trying to protect yourself from being raped but you did not get away from that fate and went into bed with a man who was way worse. At least in your head, because you wished for him to be different. You hope that handsome Jungkook was not the same as the man who jumped at the knife you were holding in front of yourself as protection. The memory of the knife sticking out of the man’s shoulder brought back the unsettling feeling and you as a coping mechanism wrapped the arms around yourself.
Now you had to think of the reason why you came back. You slowly opened the door to the carry and stepped down walking towards the door of the small house your aunt owned. You knocked on the door gently while saying, “It is me, Y/N. Please open the door.“ The sound coming from inside was loud, you were hoping that it was your uncle who opened the door, but you were wrong. Your aunt slightly opened them smirking. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be in the town, making money?” You were about to answer but she stopped you. “They told you to leave, right? You weren’t good enough for them. See? I told you. You are never good enough, you slut.” She backed away making the room for you to come in. Your steps were slow, you really did not want to come back but there was no other way. Your aunt shut the door behind you and turned to leave. “Get ready, you will start working tomorrow in the morning. As always, you slut.”
Tumblr media
It has been 6 weeks since you ran away from the horrible place, but the memories stayed with you, returning mostly at night as the worst nightmares. You woke up trying to finish all the work you have been given but once again your aunt found the reason to cuss at you. The tears were threatening to fall down once you felt the harsh slap on your cheek. For the past few days you were not feeling good and most of the time you were feeling like you were about to throw up. If before were the nights cold, then during these nights one would freeze now if they were to walk or stay outside. Soon would be the time for the hog-killing. Just the idea of it made you shiver. It was probably because of the bad stomachache you felt these days. Every morning when you woke up all weak and tired, you went to the bathroom to let out everything you did not know you had in. You thought it was because of the stress from all the work your aunt gave you. You tried to hide it from her, wanting her to never find out you but it was hard. Sometimes you were feeling too weak to stand and sometimes you felt like you were about to faint. It was exactly the cause why you got slapped just now. You were cleaning the dishes but suddenly you felt dizzy. Trying to protect yourself from falling you let go of the dish you were holding to support yourself with one hand. It was your aunt’s favourite dish and when she heard it breaking, her hand reacted quickly, not letting you explain everything. “Go and bring the wood and heat up the water. I want to take a bath. After I am done, you can use the water.” She mumbled the last sentence and sat down waiting for you to finish yet another chore she gave you.
Once your aunt was out of the bath, she waited till you wiped every part of her body and then she wore the bathrobe sitting back again on the sofa, looking at you. She was waiting for you to take off the clothes. You would like it more if she left because you liked taking a bath in the peace. And that was something she did not give you. Your aunt was not moving and kept waiting for you to take off your clothes. You sighed softly and took off the dirty clothes you were wearing. The water was nicely warm, you realised that once you stood up into the tub. You kept on standing still, letting your body adjust to the warmth and when you were about to sit down you heard your aunt choking on the cake she took from the table earlier. With a scream, she stood up from the sofa and ran to you. You looked at her worried wondering what was going on. The aunt’s eyes were wide open as she kept on staring at your belly. When she was about to jump at you, you reflexively pulled away but she grabbed your shoulders making you turn to her and once again she started at the slightly bigger tummy. “Who is the father? Who is the father, you slut?“  You opened your mouth listening to her yet to be answered question. You never thought about that. You were too innocent to realise you were pregnant. As you were not answering her question, the aunt got mad and was about to slap you but noticed the tears that were about to fall down your cheek. She screamed once again the question about who was the father of the child you were carrying. “The captain of the ship,” you whispered trying to breathe calmly. You took her hands off your shoulders and sat down to the tub hugging your knees closer to your body. “His men took me in and he raped me. And even if you do not trust me, I am telling the truth.” Even if you wanted to not tell the whole truth, it really happened. Soon enough people would notice that you were pregnant and not married, well, in case your aunt would not keep you locked inside your entire life. The aunt frowned. “What are you saying? When did they take you? Where was it?” You were not ready to tell her the whole truth, not about the murder. “I got lost and his crew found me,” you said, looking into the fire that was near you, in the fireplace. “They took me in and brought me to their captain for entertainment and he did not want to let me go. When he left for a bit, I threatened his servant with a gun and like that he let me go. I came here straight away.” The aunt frowned and stepped away. She started scratching her double chin thinking about the possible solution. “You know his name, right?” You let the hot tears fall down your cheeks remembering the night, Jeon Jungkook took your virginity away. You nodded softly. The aunt who was watching you smirked once again and was about to tell you her plan but you cut her off. “He will not marry me. He does whatever he wants with whoever he wants, and for sure will not be happy to marry me.” Your aunt had still a smirk on her face even after you told her what is Jungkook’s personality like. “I will take care of that. Oh, by the way, didn’t your father have a friend who was a judge in the town? Lord Black, was his name? I remember him taking care of smuggling on the ships,” You weren’t sure what she was talking about. You were confused and answered her wearily. “Yes, Lord Black. I think he is still the judge in the town but why?” The grin on the aunt’s face grew wider. “Do not think about why I am asking that. Tell me about lord Black. Were he a good friend of your father?“ You nodded trying to remember the last time you met the mentioned man. “I think he was my father’s best friend. He came over to our house often. I have known him since I was little.“ The aunt clapped her hands and walked towards you and pulled you up to stand up. You were still confused. “He will help you and you will get married to the captain.” The aunt said coldly not caring about the shivers that went down your spine. “In the morning we will go to find him. Now go prepare yourself and go to sleep,” With that, she left the room leaving you alone with your thoughts.
You wiped your body with a towel. You did not know what did your aunt want to do with all the information about the lord Black. She told you to get prepared and with that you listen to her once again, gathering all the clothes that you might need later. Suddenly you felt a strange feeling in your tummy, the reality finally hitting you. You were pregnant and he was the father. There was nothing else to be expected from that person. Your thoughts started coming back to the last time he touched you. That one time you actually did not hate his hands on your body. How is it possible that there are some men, who try to impregnate their wives for months but are unsuccessful and here I am pregnant after… well, one night? You thought that you were really unlucky. A quiet sob escaped your lips. You knew his temper but was not sure what he would do once he finds out that they are going to try to force him into marrying you. You knew one thing for sure. It would be your end but your child would at least have the father and his name. At least something good would come out of it. You wandered in your thoughts to your unborn child and instinctively placed your hand on the small belly. It could have dark hair like his father and it could have his eyes too. Most likely your child will be beautiful, just like his father. But what if it will be a daughter? You thought for a second about how it would hurt the captain’s pride. For sure you will hope from now on that it would be a girl. You sighed again. You weren’t sure how is your aunt going to take in the fact, that captain Jeon would never marry you. Even if they found him, there is no way he would willingly marry you. He did not look like the type of man, that would do what others want from him.
Tumblr media
When you arrived in town with your aunt, she chose the hostel where you would be staying. She sent a letter to the lord Black and asked him to meet you. You both stayed in the hostel, waiting for a reply. When the letter finally came back, you were too scared to ask what was its content. She never told you what was in it, but according to her smirking face, you knew that lord Black decided to help you. In the evening, the aunt told you to go to sleep early because in the morning you would go to meet the friend of your father. You heard your aunt’s mumbling after she laid in next to you. “He has to find out if you are telling the truth and then he will help us. The captain will not say no to the marriage, not when he might end up in the prison because of it.“ You did not understand anything she was saying. There is no way to throw someone in prison just because he does not want to marry a woman he made pregnant. Otherwise, there would not be as many illegitimate children out there. No. I bet they will force him to do it with something else and I am sure, it is going to be even worse for me. You were not sure what was worse, to raise your child alone or to marry the man who took away your virginity by force. It was almost midnight when you finally closed your eyes to sleep but was awaken by your aunt soon enough. It was still deep night when she shook you by the shoulders to wake you up.  You sat up in a daze and looked at your aunt who was fully clothed already walking from one side of the room to another. “Wake up, you slut! We don’t have time!” She screamed and left out of the room. You blinked a few times to get rid of the sleepiness. You pouted as you moved the blanket to the side which caused you to feel the cold air on your petite body. For the first time in many weeks, there were no nightmares to haunt your dreams but you weren’t sure if it was because the memory is becoming the reality or because you did not sleep long enough to let them come through. Sleepily you stood up from the warmth and took your aunts huge dress and pulled them on yourself. You did not even try to tie them up. There was no reason to since you knew you would be naked soon, showing them the proof of the most embarrassing moment of your life. You knew what it meant to actually visit the judge. He needs proofs to judge and the only proof was your growing belly. You were ready to listen to them explaining that captain Jeon denied everything and refused to marry you. It honestly did not surprise you. They did not have to go to town just to listen to that. They could have sent the letter saying what Jungkook told them. When you were ready, you knocked on the door and from the other side, your aunt opened them and pulled you to the hallway. She huffed and kept pulling you by the hand towards the other side of the hall to the wooden door in the far corner.
When you walked into the room, it was dark. The only source of the light was the fire that was making the crackling sound in the fireplace. You walked further inside, to see the man standing close to the fireplace and when you realised who you were seeing, you smiled brightly. It was no stranger, it was the man you loved as much as you loved your father. With a little yell, you run to him and wrapped your arms around his body. “Y/N!” The elder man, lord Black smiled and hugged you tightly, glad that he finally saw you after many years. “My little Y/N.” Soon enough the hot tears started falling down your cheeks knowing that you indeed missed the man in front of you. After the death of your parents, lord Black wanted you to live with him, but your aunt said no. She said you should live with your closest family. Sadly, the closest family did not mean people who actually cared about you. “I haven’t seen you in ages,” he whispered while caressing your cheeks wiping the tears away. “I remember when you were a little kid, just so small and always looking for sweets.” He smiled and lifted your chin to look at you. “And now you look beautiful, you are more beautiful than your mother. She was the most beautiful woman in the town but you for sure are prettier. I always wanted you to marry into my family but I don’t have a son.” You stood up to your toes and pressed a light kiss on the older man’s cheek. “That is a pity, it would have been my pleasure.“ You smiled as he started to lead you towards the chair so you could sit down. Before you could do that, your aunt pushed you to the side and sat on it herself. “Just let her stand, not like she deserves anything anyway.” Lord Black frowned at her action, seeing that your aunt was no gentle woman. Then he pointed at the chair at the other end of the table. “Maybe you will like it better over there, Y/N.” You simply nodded ignoring what your aunt did, knowing that is was not the first or the last time she behaved like that. When you walked towards the other chair, the aunt laughed and said coldly. “The other chair is for him.” She pointed at the dark corner of the room and your eyes grew wider. Before, you did not see the person standing in there, but as you went closer, the details of his face were sharper and you knew who it was. Jeon Jungkook.
Part 6
a/n: So they gonna make Y/N marry Jungkook who took her by force? I do not stan the aunt. Never did and never will. Eww her. (>o<) ALSO did you notice me being creative and using colour for the last names? YEAH. How creative of me.
When I was new to fandom I was bored by Dany and Jon story. Dany for me was typical fantasy heroine who was winning and getting everything and Jon has basically underdog story which wasn't that new. When I saw the so hyped boatsex I was like eh? I found Arya more interesting and Sansa started to grow on me. It's through jonsa I started admiring Jon and loving Sansa. Also through Sansa and jonsa fandom I realised Dany is a villain which is better than savior of world.
Hi nonny, well you were not alone in seeing Dany as a fantasy heroine (lots and lots and lots of people saw her this way). I suppose I’d disagree with the idea that she is typical...mainly because she isn’t the heroine, and her story is one fantastic inversion of the hero’s journey. I love Dany’s storyline for what it’s doing. Unfortunately, many people don’t see it. I also love Jon’s story, especially as this wonderful parallel to Dany’s, except where Dany’s experiences only heighten her sense of “specialness”, Jon’s experiences are constantly forcing him to see and even “live in” other people’s perspectives. Dany’s arc is about hubris and upholding this idea that she alone deserves unbridled power, while Jon’s is about humility and seeing the inherent value in other people’s lives. He pays dearly for his mistakes, especially when he tries to push his friends away and take on the burden of leadership alone (but that’s getting way ahead of what I want to talk about today).
Almost immediately, Dany’s chapters are infused with the language of “specialness”. She is the “blood of the dragon”, she is the khaleesi, a princess, a queen...and almost immediately, Jon Snow is disabused about any such notions he may have had, even as a bastard.
Jon stared sullenly at the smoke rising from the brazier, until Noye took him under the chin, thick fingers twisting his head around. "Look at me when I'm talking to you, boy."
Jon looked. The armorer had a chest like a keg of ale and a gut to match. His nose was flat and broad, and he always seemed in need of a shave. The left sleeve of his black wool tunic was fastened at the shoulder with a silver pin in the shape of a longsword. "Words won't make your mother a whore. She was what she was, and nothing Toad says can change that. You know, we have men on the Wall whose mothers were whores."
Not my mother, Jon thought stubbornly. He knew nothing of his mother; Eddard Stark would not talk of her. Yet he dreamed of her at times, so often that he could almost see her face. In his dreams, she was beautiful, and highborn, and her eyes were kind.
"You think you had it hard, being a high lord's bastard?" the armorer went on. "That boy Jeren is a septon's get, and Cotter Pyke is the baseborn son of a tavern wench. Now he commands Eastwatch by the Sea."
"I don't care," Jon said. "I don't care about them and I don't care about you or Thorne or Benjen Stark or any of it. I hate it here. It's too … it's cold."
"Yes. Cold and hard and mean, that's the Wall, and the men who walk it. Not like the stories your wet nurse told you. Well, piss on the stories and piss on your wet nurse. This is the way it is, and you're here for life, same as the rest of us."
A Game of Thrones - Jon III
As soon as Jon arrives at the Wall, his uncle gives him the cold shoulder and goes so far as to verbally reprimand Jon for believing he’d get special favor for being Ned Stark’s son, and then Donal Noye also knocks him down a few more pegs, calling him boy and reminding him that he is no better than anyone else at the Wall.
"Yes, life," Noye said. "A long life or a short one, it's up to you, Snow. The road you're walking, one of your brothers will slit your throat for you one night."
"They're not my brothers," Jon snapped. "They hate me because I'm better than they are."
"No. They hate you because you act like you're better than they are. They look at you and see a castle-bred bastard who thinks he's a lordling." The armorer leaned close. “You're no lordling. Remember that. You're a Snow, not a Stark. You're a bastard and a bully."
A Game of Thrones - Jon III
Two chapters later, Dany is a married woman and riding in Khal Drogo’s khalasar. While she is miserable at the start (and rightly so. She is sold and raped. I’m in no way pretending that Dany’s life doesn’t start out horrible. It’s far more horrible than Jon’s start to life), she is in a position of power for the first time ever, and lets just say she takes to it just fine.
Jorah tells her about ghost grass (that passage deserves its own meta - the writing was on the wall from book one, people), and Dany doesn’t want to hear it:
"I don't want to talk about that now," she said. "It's so beautiful here, I don't want to think about everything dying."
"As you will, Khaleesi," Ser Jorah said respectfully.
A Game of Thrones - Daenerys III
Jon doesn’t want to hear people calling his mother a whore = Tough luck kid, your mother was who she was. Face reality.
Dany doesn’t want to hear about ghost grass murdering all life = conversation ends and Dany gets to enjoy the beautiful day without others spoiling it.
"Wait here," Dany told Ser Jorah. "Tell them all to stay. Tell them I command it."
The knight smiled. Ser Jorah was not a handsome man. He had a neck and shoulders like a bull, and coarse black hair covered his arms and chest so thickly that there was none left for his head. Yet his smiles gave Dany comfort. "You are learning to talk like a queen, Daenerys."
"Not a queen," said Dany. "A khaleesi." She wheeled her horse about and galloped down the ridge alone.
The descent was steep and rocky, but Dany rode fearlessly, and the joy and the danger of it were a song in her heart. All her life Viserys had told her she was a princess, but not until she rode her silver had Daenerys Targaryen ever felt like one.
A Game of Thrones - Daenerys III
Their stories are inversions of each other from their very first pages in AGOT and it culminates in ADWD which is this wonderful deep dive into how these divergent viewpoints color their leadership styles.
I don’t have time to go on and on about this, but I find Dany and Jon’s stories fascinating and I love them as foils. They just don’t make any sense from a shipping perspective.
That being said, for the show, I totally bought into the pol!jon theory. That was the only thing that made season 7 fit any kind of narrative sense, and with that lens I didn’t mind the season or the boat sex scene, because I thought the lack of chemistry was the point. LOL. I’m a clown.
However you came to Jonsa, I’m glad you did! I agree. Dany makes a much more interesting villain than she does a heroine. We don’t need any more white savior stories. Blech.
can you write some protective Steve when they run into a bad ex of Tony's at an event? that would be amazing, I love your fics so much, thank you :D
Thank you so much for this lovely ask, Anon! I got so many great prompts for this event (and I am such a slow writer) that I decided to roll them together into a little mash-up. So this fic is inspired by four amazing asks:
- stevetony roommates who are pining after each other :) - protective Steve when they run into a bad ex of Tony's at an event - dialogue prompt: "I really want to kiss you right now." :))) - dialogue prompt - "kiss me, you fool" + stevetony? ty! :))
I really hope that the generous prompters (and all you other lovely readers) enjoy the results!!!
CW: This fic includes non-consensual drug use and an episode of attempted non-con (not in the Steve/Tony pairing). The furthest that attempt proceeds is an unwanted touch on the arm, but please be very careful with yourselves, and if that content is potentially triggering, the full fic on AO3 contains a note about which section you can skip to avoid direct representation.
“I’m going to make a fool of myself,” Steve muttered, staring at his reflection in the mirror with an expression that could only be described as morose.
Well, morose and hot, Tony allowed. But the “hot” part kind of went without saying at this point: it was the unspoken subtext of every sentence his brain generated about Steve Rogers. “This is my (hot) roommate, Steve.” “Where’s Steve? Oh, he’s at football practice (being hot).” Or, if it was a day ending in “y,” “stop looking so judgy (and hot), Rogers. I already told you: I ate dinner yesterday.”
Frankly, it was a sign of how dire Tony’s situation had become that he’d noticed “morose” before “hot” — identifying the sad little wrinkle in the middle of Steve’s forehead even before he checked out how criminally good Steve’s ass was managing to look in a pair of second-hand jeans. Being attracted to your roommate was bad enough without starting to feel anxious about whether he was dreading going to this party with you. Or maybe worrying about him a tiny bit when he took a hard hit during that afternoon’s game and came up holding his wrist awkwardly. Or maybe one time — just one time — dealing with that worry by paying a small fortune on Ebay for a set of his favorite, discontinued colored pencils so that you could pretend you accidentally found them at GoodWill.
Or okay, fine: maybe Tony was completely fucked.
It had taken a while for him to admit the extent of the damage, because it was the opposite of the problem he’d expected to have when the two of them had gotten thrown into living together senior year. Before that August, Steve and Tony hadn’t really moved in the same circles. Steve had lived in a cheap, off-campus apartment for the first three years of college with two fellow athletes, Bucky and Sam, and Tony had stayed in the dorm rooms with his best friend Rhodey — largely in an effort to choose the living situation that would irritate his father the most. But then Bucky and Sam had gone from the occasional hook-up to what Steve (not at all adorably) called “going steady,” and Rhodey had been selected for a cadet exchange program in Germany. And so just at the moment when Steve had decided to move out and give his best friends more privacy, Tony found himself down a roommate.
Initially, when Natasha — one of the few friends Tony and Steve had had in common before this year — had suggested they could help each other out, Tony had reminded her that Steve would never go for it, because Steve Rogers thought Tony Stark was an irresponsible, conceited, grade-A floozy. Tony knew this, because the first time he’d run into Steve his freshman year, Tony had been at a house party letting some truly terrible people do body shots off his stomach, and Steve had been frowning at him with a look that seemed to say, “you’re making more bad decisions in this single minute than I will make in my entire life.”
But then the worst of Tony’s bad decisions — a blonde, abusive cheater of an ex-boyfriend named Tiberius Stone — had started dropping hints about Tony giving up his room on campus and moving downtown to live near the college’s wealthier set, and suddenly Steve had started looking like a safe option.
So much for that theory, Tony thought ruefully, his stomach doing an utterly unforgivable somersault when Steve’s eyes caught his in the mirror.
“You’ll be fine, Rogers,” he said out loud, his voice draped in the off-hand tone he’d been carefully knitting together for months. “Everybody’s going to be at least three drinks in by the time we get there, so their world is going to be shrouded in the forgiving haze of those horrible Pink Panty Droppers that Barton always insists on making. Besides, you’re coming in on the wings of glory. No one’s going to be able to see anything other than the star quarterback, recently returned victorious from the field of the state, national, regional championship — or the Nestlé Hot Pockets Bowl — or whatever it was you won today.”
It had been the big rivalry game against Liberty University, of course, and Tony had been in the stands the whole time. But he was glad he didn’t voice that embarrassing addition aloud, because Steve’s expression had somehow grown even more moody as he spoke.
“That’s what I’m worried about,” Steve replied finally, so softly that Tony wasn’t sure whether the words were meant for him or not.
“Hey, losers,” Natasha said, popping her head in the doorway. “Clint’s already texting me photos of ‘the Leaning Tower of Pizza,’ so if we want to get there before he’s puking in the bushes and singing ‘Single Ladies’ to regurgitated pepperoni, we better get this show on the road.”
She left to go rally the rest of their caravan (how she’d managed to coax Bruce Banner away from his textbooks and houseplants every Friday that fall Tony didn’t know and didn’t care to learn), and Tony heard Steve take a deep breath, as if he were readying himself for battle.
“You don’t have to come, you know,” Tony said, ignoring the part of his mind that was already shriveling at the possibility that Steve would take the out. “I know big parties aren’t really your thing. If you’d rather just catch up with Sam and Bucky —”
“I’m where I want to be,” Steve replied firmly, and when he turned to look at Tony there was a determination in his eyes that almost made Tony’s knees buckle on the spot.
Pull yourself together, Tony told himself firmly. You can make it through one party without ruining this.
Family game night was well underway in the Wayne Manor when Y/N got a phone call from the prison that Justine Wong, her high school friend who went to jail protecting her, was incarcerated in until her trial or the man who attempted to assault Y/N dropped the charges.
She excused herself and went outside in the Autumn weather to take the call.
“Hello.”
“This is an automated call from Gotham County Prison from Inmate ‘Justine Wong’, to accept this call please press 1.”
She did as such.
“Thank you for your cooperation. All inmate calls are recorded. Your account balance is $50.69.”
“Hello?” Justine asked into the phone.
“Hey, it’s me. Why are you calling? Are you alright?” Y/N asked.
“I need you to come here and get me a lawyer.”
“You’re up my ass right now, aren’t you? I thought he was dropping the charges?”
“He isn’t. Christopher, Thomas, Kaitlin and I seriously need your help now.”
“Are you all in the same prison?”
“Yes, they transferred over the boys yesterday because of this. We can all meet in a recorded room while you get us a lawyer.”
“Fuck, dude. Uh,” she thought about game night, but decided this was more important, “Do you need me now?”
“Yes, we can all get into the room and then you can meet us, I think the jail is 10-20 minutes of a walk away from the Manor?”
“Fuck. Okay. I’ll be there.”
Click. She thought about going back inside and asking someone to drive her to the jail, but she was also just not prepared to answer anyone’s questions about it. It was cold outside, but if she ran she could get there in 10 minutes. But that’s when Bruce joined her outside, she assumed Jason sent him because he was crushing his siblings in Monopoly at the moment.
“So, I’m friends with the commissioner of the county, Jim Gordon,” Bruce said, “And I know what your friends are dealing with.”
“Well, it’s not like it’s plastered all over the news or anything,” she said to Bruce, with a slight [massive] amount of sarcasm tinged in her voice.
“Do your parents know?”
“If they did I wouldn’t be in Gotham anymore.”
“Do you need a ride to the jail?”
“Yes.”
“I can do that, no issue.”
“Thank you, Bruce.”
“Anytime,” he said before leading her to one of his cars.
------------------------------------------
In the car, Y/N tried to keep up conversation with Bruce, it was a short drive but the time seemed to slow and he could tell she wasn’t talkative. This was, what he thought was likely, very, very stressful for her. He was used to this, the court dates, the police station, but he knew that her attackers’ court dates were coming up and she was going to need emotional support, since her parents weren’t in the city.
He didn’t know how to support her as the dad of her boyfriend, he’d probably just mention it in passing to Jason and Jason would deal with her. ‘Deal with’ probably was not the way to describe the girl that his son was dating, especially when she’s in as much emotional distress as Y/N clearly was in that moment, but Bruce was terrible with wording.
She didn’t even want him to bother with her emotions about it all, because she didn't know how she felt. She didn’t know anything about the situation and how it made her feel, she just froze in the sight of this confrontation and hid from it all behind a mask of seeming to know what she was doing.
They pulled up to the prison, and she got out of the car and waved off Bruce before walking to the front desk and saying who she was and why she was there, providing her ID if need be. They led her into the backrooms, and told her that the room was being recorded and that she couldn’t touch them before letting her in the room.
She looked at the 4 of her friends who were all being charged with assault and battery.
“Y/N?” Thomas asked.
“This... this is surreal. Didn’t think we’d ever end up like this,” she said, looking at the floor before crossing her arms.
“What do we do now?” Kaitlin asked.
“Do any of your parents have enough money to pay for a lawyer? I can call them for you,” Y/N said.
“You didn’t already call them?” Christopher asked.
“No, I didn’t. I’ve been pretending this entire thing doesn’t exist, I don’t want it to exist.”
“But we need a lawyer,” Justine snapped.
“No fucking shit, Sherlock Holmes.”
“Well you should have gotten us a lawyer!” Justine snapped again, raising her voice.
“Now is not the time to yell at her, Justine,” Thomas interrupted.
“Shut up, Thomas! You,” she turned to Y/N, “Look at me! Look what you made us do and you can’t even look us in the eyes!”
“I didn’t make you do anything, Justine.”
“You’re the one who’s a fucking alcoholic and can’t handle her drinks so she almost got raped! You’re pathetic.”
“Now is not the time to victim shame me, Justine” Y/N sighed, “What you’re saying is very hurtful and makes me not wish to help you anymore, understood? You can lash out at me to get the anger out, but this isn’t my fault and you know it,” she said, finally locking eyes with Justine.
“I’m sorry.”
“You should be.”
They continued talking about what to do for hours, with Y/N ignoring most advances Justine made to prove the point that yes, she was pissed at Justine about what she had said to Y/N.
Y/N wasn’t taking anyone’s shit anymore. Ever since she met Jason, and pissed off the press, she stopped letting people get away with everyone, she stopped telling people what they wanted to hear.
And people were noticing, especially her 4 friends in that room. She was trying to get better, to recover so she wouldn't relapse, and it was obvious.
“Y/N?” Justine said.
“Justine?”
“I’m sorry.”
“I am aware. I’ll be calling your parents when we’re done here.”
“So do you forgive me?”
“I’ll consider forgiving you.”
“You’ve changed.”
“Good,” she turned to the other 3, “Anything you 3 want before I leave?”
“Nope, that’s it,” Thomas said, “Thank you, Y/N.”
“That’s everything yeah,” Kaitlin said, “Thanks, man.”
“What they said,” Christopher joked, “Thanks.”
“Alright, I love you 3, I’ll try to arrange phone calls with you 3,” she said putting emphasis on the word 3. Oh yeah, she was pissed.
She would leave the room without even saying ‘goodbye’ to Justine. She would tell the police she was done with the meeting. They asked who would be handling getting lawyers to the 4 kids, she said she would call their parents. Commissioner Gordon walked up to her and held out his hand, “You must be Jason’s girlfriend. I’ve know that kid all his life basically, I’m Commissioner Jim Gordon,” he said.
“Y/N,” she said, shaking his hand.
“I know these last 2 weeks have been extremely stressful for you, Y/N,” he said.
“I think everyone’s caught onto that.”
“I called Bruce to come get you.”
“Thank you, sir.”
-----------------------------------
Meeting new people filled her with a lot of life after the hell she was pulled through. From stabbing, to head injuries, to friendships crumbling, to court, Y/N was being strewn through the wringer.
She knew it would calm down eventually, she was just being put through a few bad weeks for a lifetime of happiness, and she hoped that happiness was with Jason.
She couldn’t think much longer when Bruce pulled up and she got to the car.
“How was it?” he asked.
“Do you really want to know, Bruce?”
“I do. The justice system can be draining.”
“You could say that again,” she joked, “So, where do I start? Well, I get in there and tensions are high, obviously. I’m sure prison sucks when they shouldn’t really be there, they did the job the vigilantes here do, and we all let them do it. Anyway... my friend I guess, she comes at my throat about my attack,” she paused, trying to swallow her pain, “Starts blaming me for it, uses my alcoholic past against me, you know, the stuff you shouldn’t do. I don’t care if she’s right and I shouldn’t have drank, but she fucking led me to the bar.”
She fumbled with her hands a bit, still trying to not cry, “Anyway, I told her that she can’t talk to me like that, that I won’t let her talk to me like that and she apologized. Guess what? I said ‘You should be.’ and I know that might not mean much to you, Bruce, but I would have never stood up for myself like that had I not met your son, you did something right with that boy, Bruce, I swear,” she joked, “But that was about it, I have to call everyone’s parents to get them lawyers, but that’s it.”
“I figured you had a backbone from the start, kid,” Bruce said in response.
“You kidding? I had to ask Jason if you would hate me for flipping off the press? I’ve never, ever had a backbone.”
“Well maybe, besides the lack of protection,” he joked, “Maybe Jason and you are a good couple.”
“You think so?”
“I think so.”
“Thanks, Bruce. Really. Your kids are a hoot to hang out with and you’re not half-bad yourself, old man.”
“Are you going to start calling me that, too?”
“Maybe jokingly.”
“I’m not that old, kiddo.”
“You just called me kiddo and you think I don’t deserve to say you’re old? Really? Bruce, c’mon, you’re smarter than that.”
“You don’t deserve it. You’re just going to do it.”
She laughed, “About the protection lecture, I wouldn't have done it if I wasn’t on the pill, Bruce. I appreciate the concern, but you were so wrong about us ‘not being prepared’.”
He laughed, “Maybe you should have said something.”
“You never asked me, Bruce.”
“I wouldn't make a good detective, then.”
“That’s why Commissioner Gordon is on the cases I’m involved in, and not you.”
He paused, “Isn’t your head-butting buddy’s trial starting tomorrow?”
“It is.”
“Are you going to watch it?” he asked, off-handedly, “I think Dick might, just to see what the ‘sicko’ looks like.”
“I’m definitely going to watch it,” she laughed, “Might even make it an essay for school.”
“Well that’s one way to handle it.”
“Might as well turn the sick fuck who tried to turn me into a ransom note be turned into a 100% in my classes. Call it; Classy Revenge.”
They pulled into the driveway together, while Bruce was laughing at the comment Y/N made. She laughed, too. It helped heal some of the wounds she experienced over the 2 weeks of knowing Jason, even some of the prior wounds. Bruce told her that the kids were still playing Monopoly, none of them had apparently gone bankrupt yet, it was 12:00am.
To say she was impressed with Jason and his siblings would be an understatement, she remembered playing Monopoly with her family, and they’d all always declare bankruptcy within an hour or so, and thee was never a back-to-back winner when they all played.
Maybe they were bad at managing money, maybe thee Wanes just were too stubborn to declare bankruptcy and they bent the rules of Monopoly a little bit to suit their family, she didn’t know.
They walked into the house and sat back down, Y/N at Jason’s side where she had been the 4, or-so, hours before. Everyone seemed to acknowledge her presence and wished to ask her what happened, but no one knew how to bring it up to her. They knew she wasn’t used to the life of court and trials, the needing to talk to police, it was really one the Waynes and the kids of police officers that were used to tat stuff.
She pretended to not notice them wanting to ask her and opened her phone while Jason tried to negotiate for the 4th railroad from Tim, to see her mother texted her.
How are you, sweetheart? Her mum had asked.
I’m fine, mum. Shouldn’t you be sleeping?
I should, but I can’t sleep thinking about the trial of your attacker
Same. It’s such a stressful situation.
I can’t even imagine how you’re feeling through all of this.
She couldn’t put how she felt into words. How the way that the moments she was in the alleyway made her feel. the way that man’s face was burned into her memory to be a constant reminder tat she wasn’t safe wherever she went. It was something she had never experienced before.
Maybe it was fear. Maybe it was pain.
I don’t know how I’m feeling either, Mum.
How’s your nose?
It’s healed basically. No more nosebleeds at random intervals.
You didn’t tell me about the nosebleeds.
I didn’t tell anyone about the nosebleeds, Mum.
Why not?
I don’t need people to worry about me, to feel for me, to make their times and schedules molded to fit me. Good intentions or not, I don’t need charity hand outs.
Then do we stop paying your rent?
Well, I mean you could. I wouldn’t stop you from stopping paying my rent, but the difference is that you giving me money is to keep me at the top of the school, to make myself the best I can be.
How badly would your studies be impacted if we stopped paying your bills?
Probably massively. Don’t worry, mum. It’s a two-year program and then I can get my own job and make enough money. I’ll get you a little house on a hill and you can be the Queen of the Hill.
That’s nice of you honey. We should both try to sleep if we’re trying ot catch the trial today.
Goodnight, Mum.
they were all still glued to the game, when Barbara chose she would  take the risk and ask Y/N about the meeting.
“So, how was it?” she asked, innocently.
“How much time do you have?”
“We have pretty much all night, the others can go at this till the trial tomorrow,” she joked.
“I mean, challenge accepted,” Y/N laughed, “So, we pull up to the county jail, right. I wave off Bruce, no big deal, everything was going to plan, which should have honestly been my first sign that things were going to be fucked, but I digress,” she paused, “I walk in, give the lady my ID and she looks at m funny, like she knew that I had been drinking underage in that moment and was disappointed in me, as she should be.”
She fiddled with her hands, “So they lead me to the back and before they do they tell me the usual, I can’t touch any of them and my conversation with them will be recorded, then they let me in. I greet everyone like the good friend I am but tensions are high and everyone’s on edge, which is understandable, but.”
Jason perked up when she put emphasis on but, knowing the story was about to get real, really quickly.
“My friend Justine, she called me to get me there, she starts going at me about how this is my fault for being an ex-alcoholic and drinking, which, yes, i should not have been drinking. But she lead me to the bar,” she paused, “She starts blaming me for how I almost got raped and putting them all in there, whatever,” she paused again, “I basically told her that if she wanted my help she was going to have to behave and be nice to me, to which, she apologized,” she paused.
“You didn’t accept that apology, right?” Stephanie asked.
“God, no. I said I’d consider forgiving her. Everyone else was fine though. anyway, I have to call their parents and get them in contact with a lawyer soon.”
“You’re still doing that even after that whore victim-shamed you?” Jason said, he seemed in awe that Y/N would be so kind to someone who did her so wrong.
“Jay, I’m borderline legally obligated to do that,” Y/N said, “I wouldn’t do it if she hadn’t saved me.”
“I think you still shouldn’t do it,” Damien said.
“And you seem very vengeful, Damien. But that’s only sometimes me.”
“Look, thou shalt not sin or whatever, love thy neighbor or whatever, but that girl wronged you in that conversation, do you really owe it to her to call her parents?” Tim asked.
“You know, for a family who’s known for being the ‘Nice Billionaires’ you all tend to really hate my choices,” she joked.
“Don’t make dumb ones, and we wouldn’t judge,” Tim retorted.
”Okay, smartass. I hope you go bankrupt.”
-------------------------------------------
Waking up next to Jason on the day of her attacker’s trial was something to her. The comforting aura of the room seemed to be stripped away because the sun hadn’t risen, the blinds didn’t need to be closed, and Jason wasn’t cuddled up next to her.
She would find him already dressed, pacing back and forth in his room. For her 3 back-to-back days of being in Jason’s house without going home, she never saw him this actively distressed about anything. But given the situation they found themselves in, it was understandable.
Someone actively threatened her life for an attempt at a ransom on her name, because she was now tied to Bruce Wayne, and Bruce had money. Of course, for the Wayne household, the kids and Bruce were used to ransom attempts on themselves, with some of them actually being taken hostage before, but Y/N wasn’t.
She defended herself, and since it was, thankfully, caught on camera unlike the attack on her attempted-rapist, she didn’t have to appear in court, she didn’t even need to video her side of the story, she wrote it in a letter and sent it to the District Attorney's office. The District Attorney, being the prosecutor, was obligated to give her statement to the defense, so she was curious as to how her words would be spun to fit their narrative.
Jason and Y/N were both in the criminal psychology major at their college, they both knew what they were in store for, and they both had the ability to tear the defendant into pieces the minute he spoke. If, he spoke, that is.
Jason didn’t seem to notice that she was awake. He was really lost in his own thoughts, his own concerns. He stopped pacing though, and he was just staring at his laptop, possibly zoned out from the situation.
She got up as quietly as she could and went to hug him from, she could hear him let out a little chuckle, so she greeted him, “Good morning, Jay.”
“I thought you were still sleeping,” he turned to look at her.
“I was, but I woke up, that’s how that works,” she joked.
“That’s insane I would have never thought people wake up after they sleep,” he said with heavy sarcasm, “The more you know.”
“Insane, I know,” she said, “I still don’t even have clothes here,” she laughed, “I really need to go home eventually.”
“No you don’t, what?” he said with more sarcasm, “You can just wear my clothes, baby.”
“I don’t think they’ll fit, Jay, I think you forget you are literally massive.”
He laughed, “Listen, being massive is not my fault.”
“How is it not your fault?”
“Don’t ask questions.”
“I am asking questions, I am curious now.”
“Shhh,” he joked, “No need to worry.”
“Billionaire, playboy, philanthropist and he’s got rippling abs? But zero cause for concern? Where do you even find the time?”
“Well, when you’re not over it’s during my downtime.”
“Can’t believe you won’t work out in front of me,” she laughed, “That’s just rude.”
“You already have free entertainment here,” he joked.
----------------------------------------------
Somehow she found clothes that somewhat fit her so she could go downstairs and watch the start of the trial. She didn’t know if she could sit through the entire trial, she was victim. No one expected her to be able to sit through the entire thing. It was a lot different from studying trials to actually being a part of the trial.
There was more of an all-seeing-eye presence in the living room of the Wayne Manor that morning before the trial began. The sounds of reporters through the television while everyone sat and waited for it to begin, it was not something many would enjoy.
There would be an ending to this story, to this court case, whether it was a month from that moment on that couch or a year from that moment. There would be justice for that bullshit.
Part of her didn’t even want the trial. She wanted the man to take a plea deal. She didn’t want to be in the spotlight when murders were happening. But no one would let it go, a beautiful woman being hurt in an attack against her? It was the kind of stuff that the news sources wanted, craved, from every court case.
And that was the thing about it. She didn’t want to be the tabloids newest escapade into being more and more corrupt, broken, deceitful.
She looked to the television as Jason put his arm around her, bracing for any sort of reaction to the news. No one really knew how she was going to react. And then it started.
Cameras were being let into the courtroom and panning over to him. The man who had attacked her in the alleyway. She subconsciously brought her hand up to her nose and felt it. For a moment, it was like she was back in that alleyway, head-butting that man and then running to the Manor. But she wasn’t there and she knew that, trying to snap herself out o that state brought nothing, though. It took the Judge having to shush the entirety of the courtroom to get her attention back to the real world.
The Judge would introduce himself to the press, but mainly to the court, and then request opening statement. Or at least, Y/N thought that was what he was doing. She didn’t really know what was going on, something pulled her away from the court trial she was witnessing for the man who attacked her.
To the outside, the people surveying her to make sure she was okay, her eyes seemed to glaze over and she seemed to just disconnect from the situation. But they didn’t realize she had disconnected. She just looked to be in thought.
She saw colours fade in and out of her sight, people showing up in front of her, him showing up in her sights, the images dancing in her mind as if she was there in that courtroom.
The time began to slur in her mind. Hours became minutes to her. And before she knew it, court had ceased fro the day. She was snapped out of it by Jason letting her go. He offered to drive her home, she agreed.
-----------------------------------
“Y/N?” Jason asked while they were in the car.
“Uh huh?”
“Are you alright?”
“Good question,” she answered, flatly.
“Are you?” he asked, seeming more concerned.
“Probably not.”
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“Uh-uh.”
“Is that a no?”
“Mhm.”
He reached to place a hand on her thigh, attempting to comfort her, “That’s okay,” he said, “You don’t need to talk about it.”
“Mhm.”
He sighed, “I’ve decided something,” he said, “I’m going to spend the night at yours, just to make sure you’re okay.”
“Okay.”
“You still don’t have to talk about it.”
“I know.”
“Okay, here,” he smiled, “Have I told you the full story about the time that we did chair-racing in the halls of Wayne Manor?” he asked.
“No, you haven’t.”
“Well, what happened was we ended up flying down the halls at like 4 in the morning, right? Well,” he paused, “Dick used to be an acrobat, so when he almost went flying off the stairs, he actually caught himself on a handstand on the rails. Chair still went flying,” he said.
She smiled a little bit. He knew he was doing something right.
“We ended up breaking a vase. Bruce was okay with it because it wasn’t his parents, but Alfred was pissed at us for it. Grounded us all for weeks about it.”
“As he should.”
“Look at me go, getting multiple word answers out of you, and I even got you to crack a smile,” he laughed and grabbed her hand to hold it, “I’m just so good at this boyfriend thing.”
She smiled again. The smiles wouldn’t last for long, but they did happen. He knew the trial was traumatic for her. He could tell. Just from the way she drooped after the trial ended, she could normally not shut up when it came to Jason, so this was out of character.
When they got to her house, he would walk, basically lead her, to her house. She was so far disconnected from everything, that he even just let her rest in her bed with his clothes on and her shoes still on, because she wasn’t functioning.
He would crawl into bed with her and let her rest her head on his chest.
