ok all u need to know is that sevika and reader had a whole enemies to lovers thing when reader got hired as jinx's (age 11ish in this blurb) nanny. they're madly in love now, and sevika has learned to tolerate (love) jinx too.

what sevika doesn't know is that you've been in on it from the start.

jinx was teasing you, about the kisses you're always pressing on sevika's cheeks and the way you're always tucking her loose hairs behind her ears, and you got flustered and blurted "at least i'm not as bad as sevika!"

jinx, of course, cackled and agreed with you, then she asked, "you think you can get her to buy us jericho's tonight?"

you giggled and ruffled her hair. "probably. you wanna have some fun with it though?" you asked.

which is how you're here.

jinx made a bet with sevika that she couldn't last more than a day without kissing you. sevika, of course, took the bait-- desperate to prove jinx wrong without thinking through the consequences.

consequences being, of course, your pout when she dodges your kiss at lunch. (jinx is hiding her giggles behind her hand. sevika is hiding her own pout behind hers.)

you try again when she helps you and lock clear the plates after the gang eats. (jinx tags along, carrying a singular fork as her version of 'helping'-- just to see if sevika fails on her bet) sevika ignores your attempted forehead kiss, making a u-turn and practically running back out into the bar.

and then, you bring out the puppy eyes.

standing just outside of jinx's room while she 'reads her books' you confront sevika. she cringes the moment she sees you, and you just sigh. "sev..."

"baby, c'mere." she sighs, wrapping her arms around you, folding immediately. if you focus, you think you can hear jinx hyperventilating from holding her laughs in her room. "i made this dumbass bet with jinx that i could go the whole day without kissing you, and i didn't get the chance to let you in on it without the brat around." she pouts. you blink up at her, trying to make your eyes as big as possible.

before you can speak, sevika darts down to kiss you. you can't help but giggle against her lips. when she pulls away, you finally sigh.

"i guess that's alright."

"it's not." she kisses you again. "i felt like i was stubbing my toe each time i dodged you." she pecks you once more. you start to giggle. "what can i do to make it up to you?" she asks.

in her room, you hear jinx's muffled "fuck yes!"

you just bat your eyes at sevika. "wanna take me to jericho's for dinner tonight?"

sevika nods. "do we have to bring the brat?"

you chuckle. "duh. it's her favorite, she'd kill us if we went without her."

"fine." sevika sighs, kissing you one last time before turning around and marching away-- off to do whatever job silco's got her on today.

jinx's door flies open, and the girl comes flying out, cackling manically. "we did it!"

"i told you we could." you say, ruffling her bangs. you pull her to your side and start walking the pair of you toward the stairs. "c'mon. dinner's not 'til late and i'm hungry. wanna share some flamers?" you ask. jinx nods, giving you a quick hug before darting off and scrambling down the stairs toward the kitchen.

He finds it quite ridiculous how you keep the newspaper of when he saved a cat and his bare forearms were visible on the front page. You shamelessly stare when he comes home taking off his jacket, leaving only his bare chest to ogle at. He catches you every time, resulting in him blushing which he hopes you don't see. So he effortlessly picks you up with your legs hooked around his waist in his strong, beefy arms and wonders, what is he gonna do with you?

Racer!Diluc who always shows up on time at the end of class/work to pick you up in his sports car. He waits for you leaning on his vehicle, until he takes your hand and opens the passenger door for you before kissing your hand like the gentleman he is. He kisses your forehead and caresses your cheek sweetly before departing to start his race. And after a long night of you cheering for his win (which he claims is because of you), he doesn't fail to notice you getting sleepy. He coos as how you try to stay awake, but he once he carries you to the car, he bringing your head to rest on his shoulder, lightly lulling you to sleep.

Prince!Diluc who, despite his high status, treats you like absolute royalty. There is always gossip about the young prince, how handsome and eligible he would be to marry another heir of a neighbouring kingdom. But he pays it no mind- for he is already happily together with you. When it is time for the ball, his eyes go soft, when he sees you in your gown. You ask if you look okay and Diluc can only bury his head in your shoulder, telling you how beautiful you are in between kisses. Every kiss, every dance, every flower- it's yours.

Vampire!Diluc who curses himself for being so greedy with you. Despite him being a supernatural and dangerous being, he retains his gentleness when it comes to you, and you only. When it's time to feed, he feels his heart sink every time because it hurts you. He kisses the spot where he bit as a way to relieve the pain, and brings you whatever you need to relax again. Because of that he clings to you dearly, and is willing to do anything to protect you.

His prosthetic hand finds its way into your hair, cold metal scratching over your scalp. It's a much needed relief from the heat of your fever.

He chuckles softly as you lean against his touch, working his fingers over your head before he presses the back of it to your forehead.

You finally open your bleary eyes, and instead of pain flooding your mind from the bright light, slight relief washing over you as you see Nagito's angelic face.

Kokichi catches onto your theatrics almost immediately, scoffing as he looks away. "Yeah, yeah. I can tell you're lying!" He winks, smiling cheekily as if he wasn't neglecting his very poor sickly partner.

Alright. That's it.

With as much strength as you can manage through your sick stupor, you leap forward, arms latching around his waist.

Kokichi yelps. Loud.

"Ghh-! Dammit, [name]! Let go!" He squirms with small grunts, wriggling like a rat caught in a trap.

Despite this, you easily notice he's not putting his full effort into it. Kokichi may be small, but he could pack a punch when he wanted, especially against a sick person.

He wasn't making a real effort to get away from you.

Content with your efforts, you simply keep yourself latched around him until he stops, pouting. "You're so mean..."

Even as he complains, he huffs while sliding down into the bed with you.

His arms wrap around you too, head resting against your tangled strands of hair.

a dead stare pierces the back of his head. the dead stare of his lover.

"do you need something, dear?" ikki's voice is low and gentle as he turns to face you.

"that doesn't sound very sure." he tilts his head slightly. you just know his eyes are burning into you now as you laugh sheepishly.

"well..." you bring yourself closer to him. you feel a hand rest on your own. "you know you don't need to ask, right? i don't mind when it's you."

"well, your boyfriend loves that, i'm sure he would express his feelings if he would ever feel uncomfortable." his lips twitch into a small smile. "i appreciate the thought. although, why would you like to touch my hair so much?" you feel his hands rest on your waist, tugging you closer to him. you yelp when you feel his cold fingers just under your shirt and brushing against your skin.

he revels in how flustered you look while you stammer out a response, "it just looks really fluffy and this is my version of self care."

"yes." you place your hands on the back of his neck and slowly move them up to brush his hair. and it's much softer than it looks. "i really thought your hair would be more knotty..." you mutter.

you can't see his eyes, but you know that smile of his anywhere. he's completely lovesick as he guides you to sit on the edge of his lap. your hands eventually travel to the front of his face and brush his overly grown bangs back. his eyes are closed, clearly pleased with the attention you're giving him.

not sure if you've been asked already but i am very interested in your theory on the s13 vs s17 generational fashion trends etc that you mentioned in a previous ask x

ok bear with me this gets long lmao

every single solitary thing i am about to say is a broad generalization; there are always individual preferences and variances within "generations" and the "rules", such as they are, do not apply to every single solitary person born during a certain time period. it's a useful metric to talk about broad trends but none of this is like. gospel. it's just generalities.

so the thing about fashion trends is they're cyclical. a trend is often a response to something else - the over the top glitz of the 80s gives way to 90s grunge and then swings back toward some of the hallmarks of the 80s with bright colors and a billion accessories in the early 00s settles into something a little more polished in the 10s and then in the 20s we are seeing a lot of 90s trends coming back as a pushback against the 10s look. the fact that trends come back is important to an argument i'm gonna make later on i just wanted to establish that first lol

so s13 liv. 2011. the millennial generation is at that point between 15-30 years old. hair with body, with layers, side bangs is in, and so is the eyeliner, the smokey, dramatic eyes. the bulk of the millennials are in their 20s, and they've left behind the trends that dominated their teenage years and are starting to settle into their understanding of themselves and what they want. style is constantly evolving, both individually and on a broader cultural scale, but the median and up aged millennial are at a point in their lives when they're starting to figure themselves out, figure out what they like, settling into their aesthetic - informed, of course, by the fashion trends they've lived through so far, and the trends of the day. liv in each season (mostly) reflects the style of the time, and s13 is no exception. her look is something that most millennials will identify with, and will have at some point emulated for themselves, in one way or another. that hair is the hair. the clothes, too; the button downs, especially, have this blend of 90s masculine but make it sexy that is familiar to the millennials.

style evolves, moves on, but at that point in time most of the 25+ crowd has figured out what they like, what they're comfortable with, and it's that look. it's not the glitzy glam of middle school, and it's not the messy grunge the cool older kids were wearing when millennials were young. it's put together, with soft hair framing the face, approachable. it's the Rachel but grown up.

now you move forward to s17. the hair is sleek, and flat, the makeup is more like instagram "we're gonna call this natural but it definitely isn't" the clothes are more tailored. now at this point, most - not all! again! this is general! - millennials have spent a good chunk of their lives trying not to have flat hair. crimp that shit, perm that shit, do a snooki pouf with your messy bun, don't let 'em see your forehead, that's what millennials are used to. they've been practicing their eyeliner for years. so the pared down doesn't resonate as much.

enter the svu resurgance of 2021, and gen z.

gen z at this point is basically ages 0-24. the younger crowd, doing what the younger crowd does, and rebelling against the trends that exist around them. a lot of 90s shit is making a comeback - wider leg pants, bucket hats, scrunchies, and crucially the center part.

that bane of the millennial existence is desirable once again.

so the younger crowd is either furiously catching up on svu or have been steeped in svu all their lives but now they're being online about it, and which liv most accurately reflects the aesthetics they prefer?

s17.

so it's my theory that the 30-40 year old crowd prefers s13 bc the Look is so definitive of what was popular during their most formative years, and the under 30s gravitate towards the s17 look for the same reason.

but there's a catch.

trends are cyclical. and so i've noticed that a lot of the 40+ crowd also prefers s17. the ones who were coming into their own when babydoll dresses and curtain bangs and sharp, straight lines in haircuts were big in the 90s also look at that haircut and identify with it.

there's plenty of people who are cusp-y age-wise or whose personal preferences don't match up with the broader trends of their "generation" but this is my going theory.

Alice Whiterose is a second-year student at Night Raven College and a member of Heartslabyul Dorm. A shy and introverted girl, she often got anxious if there are too many strangers around her. However, she can be very passionate and devotional when it comes to working.

APPEARANCE: Alice is a young girl with shoulder length white hair that tied into twintails styles, wavy bangs covering her forehead and long side bangs. She have droopy blue eyes with a small red rose patch under her right eyes and wear a pair of dark blue glasses. Often got misunderstood as a first year because of her height and petite figures, though she doesn't show her uncomfortableness outside on her face. Alice also doesn't like to let her hair down naturally because it's easily got disheveled. Alisa state that she jealous because she have a "greater body" than her (which Alice quickly debase this but it's actually the truth)

In her Dorm uniform, she wear a white collar shirt with black-and-red striped necktie under a red vest. Over the vest she wears the blazer that others in her dorm wear ( except for Riddle ). She wear a white skirt with a black and yellow ribbon and a chain of 4 keys around her waist, black-and-red tights with heart patterns and red-and-white high tops.

PERSONALITY: Alice usually seen as a shy girl with somewhat gentle aura around her (as stated by others). A little clumsy and easily got scared, she usually got teased for being "jumpy" whenever something scares her. As a child, Alice got taught to not talking to strangers unless they're her friend's acquaintance, so it's understandable why she's bad with open up a conversation. If she found someone have the the same hobby/like the same things as her, she'll talk with them non-stop about it and even forgot about the time. Sometimes, people got weirded out by her strange habit of talking to plants and magical creatures during classes. The reason is that she think they're also like human, they need someone to understand them. Her gestures are very gentle and delicate, you could see this clearly whenever she take care of the plants in the school's garden. She also often talk with a soft and respectful voice, even at underclassmen. You might think she's slow, but the truth is that she actually have short stamina, so she can't run fast or holding heavy things. Part of it is also because she have a fragile body at birth, so her mother become very strict about her movements (hence why her gestures are very gentle).

It might make you think "She should be in Pomefiore instead!", but, the reason she got sorted into Heartslaybul is simple. Her passion and ambition towards works. She also doesn't like to live by her own rules, she think that "rules" are part of people's live, and sometimes, you have to follow it to have a better live. While she adore beautiful things, to her, anything that good at heart is beautiful, hence why she doesn't got sorted into Pomefiore. Another reason is that she doesn't strike to be the best in beauty, to be honest, she doesn't want to be the best in anything at all. Trey did comment that: “You sure are a suitable member of Heartslabyul huh Alice? Although Riddle doesn't admit it himself, but I'm sure he must've think the same way about you too.”

“I-I actually did used to play piano... B-But, that hobby of mine used to hurt someone, so I've quit for a long time now...” - Alice's initial SSR personal story (part 3)

Used to be a piano prodigy when she's was a child, she started playing at 8 but quit after 5 years because of an accident. Ever since then, she got anxious and sweating unconsciously whenever she saw a piano. Because of that accident, she also have fear of breaking/ruining things, hence why she always have a tight grip despite the gentle gestures on things she hold (even things like doorknob). If she accidentally grab on the hem of your shirt, you'll clearly notice it. (Though don't tell it out loud or else her face will become red as Riddle's hair). And when she's on verge of getting(?) anxious, she will immediately run away to wherever her feet take her, which usually ended up at the school's Botanical Garden. To her, it's the most quiet and peaceful place at NRC, it's warm atmosphere also help her to quickly calm down as well.

UNIQUE MAGIC: "Gift of Card Suits" - ( 魔法の上書の鍵 "Magic Overwrite Keys" ) To be able to use one of the key that she carried around on other people's magic. Each key have a specific effect:

♥️ Heart: To change the effect/chosen target of anyone's magic (for example, if someone use fire magic, she can use this key to change it to other type of magic or switch the target to anyone she chose)

♠️ Spade: To be immune to any effect of anyone's magic

♣️ Clover: To dispel any effect of anyone's magic

♦️ Diamond: To double the effect of someone's magic (basically, a magic buffer)

However, she can't use Heart, Spade and Clover keys to Unique Magic(s) because it took too much mana to do so. She can also only be able to use 1 key per day, meaning if she use more than 2 keys then it'll reach the limit of her strength, and her Unique Magic will become useless if she doesn't have the keys with her (hence why she even bring it when wearing the Ceremonial Robe). Alice also stated that out of the 4 keys, Heart is the one that consume most mana so she doesn't use it usually like other keys.

BACKSTORY ( just a small part of it ):

The first thing she saw was the ground. Everything was quiet. Too quiet. She couldn't felt anything except for the cold, hard ground right beneath her feet and the broken wall on her back. Her small shoulders unconsciously shivering from the cold but she doesn't even try to warm herself. She just sit there, like a broken doll waiting for someone to notice it. Her blue orbs doesn't have any lights reflect on, as if they're dead. The only sound was ominous wind blowing on the dead trees. Her white, ripped dress were dirty as well as her used-to-be pure white hair.

Everything around her is dead.

"Oh my, what do we have here?"

A strange, deep voice suddenly speak up and break the dead silence. When she grown up, she couldn't remember much who was that, but she knows, that person was the one that changed her life. Her lifeless eyes slowly look up. Everything around her was a blur, even that person become a black silhouette. But she remembered it well.

A pair of glowing emerald orbs.

"Hmm? What's the matter, _____?"

"A human child. It seems like she's still alive..."

"Nfufu~ You sure are interested in human huh, _____?"

"...Want to bring her along?"

"...Haha! I guess that look is a "yes" then! Go on and pick her up~ If she still alive, that's it."

Then slowly, a large silhouette appeared in front of her. The little girl still sit there lifelessly, only until that person pick her up and place her into their chest, a faint shock expression slowly form on her pale face, a sign that she's still alive. For a few seconds, she panicked, and it seems like she also made that person panicked too.

"Hey now, don't panick along with her! You were supposed to comfort the child, _____!"

Slowly, a large hand awkwardly pat on her back, making the small child flinch due to the sudden contact. But after a while, her body relaxed and gradually melted into their chest. The little girl unconsciously rest her head on their shoulder while slowly drifted to sleep, a peaceful expressions reflected on her face.

The last thing she saw behind their back was a pair of glowing magenta orbs before everything went black.

+ *: Goma stands for ゴマフビロードウミウシ "Gomafubirodoumiushi" which is a type of sea slug that known for its fluffiness and cuteness in Japan and other Asia countries. It can also be called "Sea bunny" in English.

+ **: "Shiro" mean white in Japanese, Cater probably referencing to her hair color

+ ***: This is not her actual birthday. It's the day when she was found in the backstory. Her real birthday is unknown ( She doesn't even remembered when she was born )

+ Her name, "Alice" is a reference to "Alice Liddell" - the main character of "Alice in Wonderland" series while her last name is a reference to the (supposedly) white roses in the Rose Maze

+ While her profile stated that her homeland is Rose Kingdom, her backstory actually revealed that it's not her true origin.

+ In Alice's school uniform R card's personal story, she stated that the Heart key was a gift of someone she cherished until now.

+ She actually joined the Science club just to be able to take care of the school's garden easier

...And that's it! I actually decided to redesign one of my first child, Alice and give her a more detailed backstory!
