most of the time requests/asks are made by us, it is not by the same alter (89%). and while it has the same emoji combo and/or same writing style, it is various alters. If reqs are made too soon or back to back, it is because alters may not know something has already been sent, so they send a different thing. the same thing with the mlp neogender series. the schedule was made so things like that didn’t happen, but some alters see the flags and go “ooo!!! flag. now i can make a new req :3”

this system is crazy. hard to manage. Tag made the Rarity req, but twilight and A.J were from Angel, Fluttershy was from Astro, Pinkie and Rainbow dash were from Jay.

Anyway, just wanted to clear that up because we get reaaaallyyy worried about unnecessary stuff and think it can be annoying OR just make it a lot of work but we know it probably isn’t that bad🙏

Crumpled up papers which might've been all too convenient in terms of placement, if you asked him... No. If he were that much of a skeptic.

But lo, in this auspicious moment — Ozzie could be one to consider it divine timing and his quick eye that caught a glimpse of hesitant strokes that made up the sketches he discovered. He'd smoothed them out, far too curious to just dismiss it as most would: trash. Yet here he is, sifting through and admiring what he's seeing.

Ozzie always took a keen interest with the arts. All types, all varieties. There's art in what he does, art in what music he hosts at his club, art in bespoke pieces of lux fabrics, art in images that decorated his halls and told the richest stories. Including the prized piece which hung from above with him in his office!

A true admirer with anything created by hand and with passion. He's no stranger amongst artists as he's made a name for himself in the alleys by commissioning almost every single piece in his home and around his clubs. Much to his disappointment, there's nothing to go by with sketches alone.

Surely — hopefully — he'll manage to locate them. Either by some sleuthing or mere observation of his surroundings. Looks an awful lot like a type of secret admirer based on the angles and different style choices. How fun. How divine. How exciting.

what the hell??? there's been a common occurrence of hate anons being sent to other authors. although i'm quite lucky that i've only received one so far, the others have it far worse (quite literally), receiving death/rape threats, racist insults, and all that terrible shit from bitter cowards who waste away at their life hating for nothing.

and due to me frequenting the yandere tags quite often, it only happens specifically to the y!batfam tag. i speculate it comes from one person because of the god awful grammar, but it's come to a point that it might just be more than that. so for all my fellow writers out there, to avoid further harassment, possibly even doxxing, please block (and especially report) the anonymous people who send it because it blocks them from sending anymore asks, and if push comes to shove, close off your anon submissions because the sudden influx of not just hate comments but straight up crime, is harrowing.

Pardon me for the time I took to write this, but I wasn’t sure whether to write a gossip post, or a eulogy, for some people’s common sense, that is.

Want to hear a story? Once upon a time, Mary had a little lamb, then the lamb grew up, gave birth, and that explains some people on this app. They follow each other, like sheep, one by one.

and that’s exactly what some of you are doing.

But when there’s so much smoke, who cares if there’s fire? Liars, Liars, Liars. I’m running out of fingers here, there’s too many to count!

But who’s talking? Oh wait, the lack of belief some people have in themselves. Like the great gossip girl I am, I decided to open my inbox to answer some pending success stories that have been sent to me. Instead, one anon said “slit your wrists”. I don’t usually like being told how to do things but if you’re going to tell me to do something, at least give me a physical demonstration. Maybe a…tutorial? Funny that you give me advice in a field you’re so specialised in…at least we have one thing in common. Someone give this one a pay rise. Since everything else in their life seems to be at an all time low.

As usual, it doesn’t end there. Another desperate lower east sider sent me: “You write things to yourself in your anonymous messages, come on, they're already realizing it.” Darling, just because you would, doesn’t mean I would. My blog runs on authenticity, not so-called tumblr “fame”. But of course, that’s just one concept your head’s too thick to wrap around.

Anyway, let’s move onto the bigger picture here. But…you might want to wear a gas mask. I’m afraid there are too many pants on fire! Allegedly. I’m sorry, that wasn’t clear? Let me say it again. Allegedly. Maybe if you listened as much as you’d spoke, you’d hear me, and I wouldn’t have to say it again.

It’s funny to say, but usually I’M the one gossiping, not the one gossiped about. But somehow, people have magically found a way to drag me through the dirt. No that’s not a tear in my eye, it’s disappointment. Disappointment that Mary’s little lamb turned out to be the mother of such…fuckers. Motherfuckers.

But back to the point, just found it flying right over your head. Listen closely so it doesn’t happen again. SPOTTED: A few lower east siders attempting to create their own little success story debunking club. They’re running in…circles? If there’s two things we know about circles, it’s that one, they are pointless (literally), and two, running in them, gets you nowhere (also literally).

Unluckily for them, a conclusion is something they’ll never come to, but to picture proof? They might just.

Picking and choosing which success stories are fake, and then asking them to send picture proof when you don’t believe? Please, there’s only so much laughs the upper east side can hold. Since your common sense seems to be searching for the divorce papers, i’ll break it down for you. Nobody owes you picture proof of their manifestations. But just like the many previous and countless times, people would just find a way to accuse them of getting their photos/videos on Pinterest, or the good old photoshop. Well I know a shop where you can’t buy photos, and it’s called your imagination, and when you use it, not only do you find your common sense in there, but you also get exactly what you want. Not such a difficult concept to grasp is it? Keep talking and i’ll see your head peeking over the empire state building soon enough.

Now once again, onto the next idiotic attempted claim. “These success stories have such similar desires”. Oh i’m sorry? But we live in a generation full of trends. And with trends come followers. And we call those followers sheep. I’ve counted sheep so many times so far, I might just fall asleep. This might sound crazy but…people get inspired…wait for it…by other people’s…don’t scream just yet…IDEAS! I know, it’s hard to believe. Crazy right.

But in my lovely consideration of not hurting your ego, I do acknowledge the rare valid points some of you’ve made. Like bloggers suddenly having each others accounts. Like bloggers saying they’ve manifested their dream lives, yet still staying on tumblr to argue with anons who call them liars. That doesn’t really make sense, honestly, even to me. But what gets me is the idea of picking and choosing certain success stories that have common desires, similar “typing” styles, and not enough enthusiasm. Apparently that’s the criteria you need to meet, in order to have a “fake success story”…Who the actual fuck are you to decide what’s not enthusiastic enough? So just because someone’s success story doesn’t sound like how you imagine your own to turn out, therefore it’s fake? If someone isn’t freaking out and smashing their keyboard whilst writing their success story then it’s fake? Are you fucking dumb? Let me answer that for you, first of all yes, you are fucking dumb. Second of all, you look for YOUR idea of success in THEIR success stories, so when you don’t see your ideal version of success, and your ideal reaction to success, you immediately assume it’s fake, because you cannot relate to it because “it’s not how you would react or what you would manifest”. Because your dumb fucking arse cannot comprehend the world beyond your own perception. Why? Because you’re a fucking dumbarse.

Call me crazy, but if one word comes to mind, it’s projection. And yes there are liars here and there, but the struggle to believe in others successes is just the struggle to believe in yourself. If you were reading those success stories from your mansion, with your desired appearance, in your desired city, with everything you could possibly want, reading other people’s success stories wouldn’t be so difficult would it. Why? Because humans learn from experience. But some of them are just too ignorant to consider, that with every person, comes a different experience. “Oh I didn’t succeed, therefore there’s no way they could have, they’re lying!!!!” Poor babies, may I ask where this desire to look for inconsistencies in success stories came from? I think we ALL know…it’s pretty easy to disbelieve in something that you believe you can never have. What was that word again…projection.

Yet again, I can’t believe I have to remind you that it’s not you against the world. Nobody is out to get you. Loablr is not some plot to make you believe in something that isn’t real. I don’t know what level of delusion that takes but usually it’s enough to put you in a straight jacket. Get off the app and touch grass. No one will notice if you leave, trust me. But in all fairness, I’ve read a few success stories that have seemed ingenuine to me. But do I have proof of that? No. So do I make a blog “calling them out” when I have no way of 100% knowing that, or do I move on with my life and focus on my own successes instead of their alleged fake ones? You think it hasn’t occurred to people that other people could be lying? If you think otherwise, boy have I got news for you. And most IMPORTANTLY, like I said before, YOU cannot define what ingenuine is, because YOU cannot predict other people’s reactions, nor can you see them from behind their screens. And since some of you are so obsessed with “real life” proof, you still decide to ignore success stories OUTSIDE of tumblr. Especially, Celebrity success stories. So CLEARLY there’s not much we can do for you here. You claim to believe in the law of assumption, then go and fucking apply it, instead of thinking you have some valid point to “prove”. You’re not as “woke” as you think you are. I don’t care if you can’t control your suspicions of others, i’m not telling you to stop feeling suspicious, but it’s the way you go about it that matters. And the way some of you do it, is disgusting.

If there’s anyone who is currently reading this who has lied about any successes whatsoever, you’re pathetic. And I hope you feel ashamed. And yes, no one actually knows who you are, but that’s not where the consequence lies honey, the consequence lies in the fact that you don’t have anything you want. Think about that for a second. Bitch. Instead of louboutin red bottoms, you literally have a red bottom. Don’t break your knuckles trying to get the extinguisher out.

Anyway. There’s so much more I could say about how unfathomably stupid some of you are but if I were to, then I’d be here all day. So i’ll leave it at that. And keep in mind, when I don’t reply to you, or when I block you, it’s not because i’ve got nothing to say or that i’m “defeated”, it just means that you are not worth my time and that i’ve probably already made a point that yet again flew over your head that you therefore missed.

November 13: Fandom Love Day (Secret Admirer Day)

This is sort of like secret Santa but just for kind messages. You do not need to create, buy, or gift anyone anything. This is open to anyone in the fandom (creator, reader, supporter, anyone!)

All that is required is that you write the person you’ve been assigned a kind, encouraging, supportive message for November 13th. It can be generic, but I do encourage you to take a few minutes to look over the person's blog and see if you can give them a compliment specific to them that might be more meaningful.

To participate, message me here (@choicesfandomappreciation) or @lovealexhunt and let me know you want to join by November 4th. *If there is someone you absolutely cannot be paired with please let me know that too, no judgement and it will be kept private.

On November 5th, I will randomize everyone who is interested in participating and send you one person’s name. On November 13th, send your message to this blog anonymously (@choicesfandomappreciation ).

I will tag your person so they see your message.

So, without further ado, I give you, some quality Tactical Mike...

Koala'd

Koala'd

He was out again. On mission. And as the leader of the tactical team, he almost always ended up in the most dangerous and scariest position.

For years, even as his bestie, he had forbidden you to watch the body cams at Don’s security desk- even if Splinter was right there. 

But ever since six months ago, when you'd finally found the courage to tell the elderly rat of your long-time feelings for the tactical leader, he had allowed you to sit with him and watch.

Although he made you SWEAR not to breathe a word of it to Michelangelo.

So here you sat, side by side with Splinter, chewing on your fingernails, gasping every few moments with your eyes wide and glued to his body cam. 

You watched as his weapon was knocked from his hand, and he was knocked to the ground. 

You listened as he screamed in pain. Your hand jutting out and grabbing onto Splinter's arm.

You heard the unmistakable sound of a cracking shell.

“OH GOD NO!” You yelled, tears streaming down your cheeks.

“Hey! What's going on?!”

You gasped, releasing Splinter's arm to spin towards the familiar voice coming from behind you.

“MIKE?!” Your voice trembled as you glanced over his clean, tactical gear, not a scratch on him.

You took off at a run, his arms open with a look of concern laced into his expression.

Leaping into his welcoming embrace, your arms moved around his neck in a tight squeeze, and your thighs squeezed his hips.

“Sunflower, what's wrong? What's going on?” He asked, one hand on a thigh to keep you in place, the other holding you tight against him.

“Mike, it's so dangerous. Oh my God, why do you do this?” You fretted, squeezing him harder. 

He let out a hard sigh. “Because if I didn't, then innocent beings would get hurt or die,” he said softly, his thumb rubbing small lines up and down your spine between your shoulder blades.

“Who cares! What about you? You need to stay safe, too! You don't need to go into situations that are so incredibly dangerous!” You scolded him excitedly.

Mike laughed softly, “Are you referring to the footage you were just watching?” 

You pulled back and looked at him, nodding.

“If I hadn't gone into that incredibly dangerous situation, I wouldn't have you here now, stuck to me like a baby koala.” His voice was soft and kind as his eyes roamed your face.

“What?” You whispered, looking confusedly from him to Splinter, who was smirking slyly, and back to him again.

“That’s the night I saved you in that warehouse from the wolves.”

Your face sobered, eyes going wide with realization. 

“We take the bad with the good, Sunflower. And despite being cracked open like a nut, that was the best night of my life. Because I found you.”

Your hands moved to his face, and you crashed your lips into his. Between fervid kisses, you managed a soft, “I love you, Michelangelo.”

“I've loved you for a long time, my Sunflower.” The long, passionate kisses he indulged spoke volumes more than his words had.

“Ahem.” The old rat’s feigned throat clearing brought the pair of you back to the moment.

Huffing out a small, embarrassed giggle, you shifted and attempted to slide back onto your feet.

Attempted.

When Michelangelo held you tight in place, you looked up at him, brows furrowed.

“If you think I'm letting you slip out of my arms just because my sneaky father over there is clearing his throat, you have another thing coming,” voice firm, gaze deadly serious.

“Wha-”

He didn't let you finish your thought. Instead, you heard a click followed by some sort of restraint coming between your thighs and up across your back. Snapping the restraint up over your shoulder and clipping it to his, he does the same with the other side.

“I'm not letting you escape now that I've finally got you where I want you - especially now!” exaggerating his exasperation with a comical eye-bulging expression.

“You want me glued to you like a baby Koala?” You laughed at his intentional idiocy. 

A face-splitting smile was accompanied by frantic nodding, making you laugh harder.

“And what the hell do you mean, ‘especially now’?!” You questioned him, your curiosity getting the better of you.

He did an about-face, walking towards the door with you now strapped to him. A naughty grin crossed his face as he pressed your core against him. Lips to your ear, he whispered, “Because you're concealing a deadly weapon.”

Here's a tip: if you're going to say something bold, be bold and say it to me non-anonymously.

2. When I have time to read fanfiction, I read the stories that call to my attention, whether they're my mutual or not, whether they're my good friend or not, whether they're well-known around here or not.

You can verify this by checking out my @zepskiesreads side blog, which I started recently, or for an even longer archive, search "#zepskies reads" in my main blog. Why? Because whatever I read and enjoy, I reblog. Simple as that.

I also credit other writers (and readers) for giving me ideas and helping me work through a plot line behind the scenes. I support my friends whenever I can, however I am able.

3. Recently, I have been catching up in my TBR reading with some of my friends, since I haven't had as much time to read due to my full-time job and other demanding things happening in my life.

So who specifically do you think I'm not supporting? If there's a writer that you want to bring to my attention, you could've just said that respectfully.

However, if it's any business of yours what I choose to read and reblog, I'll be sure to let you know. 😉

Can we just take it down a few notches… try and be ✨ positive ✨

I almost never respond to anonymous hate, and I certainly don’t let faceless comments bully me into silence by turning off Anon. However, I do have a low tolerance for spam.

If you have an issue with me, my stories, my characters, or my artistic choices, I encourage you to address me directly. I have a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and film, as well as a master’s in English. I’m well-versed in criticism and understand its role in the creative process. That said, sending multiple messages in quick succession under Anon isn’t the way to engage in meaningful discussion. Certainly when one openly was mean spirited.

I’m always open to conversations about my work, and I don’t think I’m above criticism. But this approach doesn’t foster understanding—it just creates negativity. As a result, I plan to block this account after giving them time to see this and have temporarily disabled Anon. Not because I’m hurt, but because I don’t want this kind of behavior to be left in my inbox unanswered. Some people might not be as thick skinned as I am, and words—especially when sent in anger—can leave lasting wounds.

That said, I don’t want people commenting on this person’s English or the fact that they used Anon. Those details aren’t the issue here. I also don’t need reassurance or validation—I’m addressing this because these kinds of interactions can be harmful, and I’d rather try to shift the conversation in a better direction.

If you are the anon, I hope you’ll take a moment to reflect on why you felt the need to send those messages. If you’re frustrated with my work, I welcome thoughtful discussion. But if this is coming from a place of personal pain, I want to gently remind you that being hurtful to others won’t make that pain go away. It just puts more negativity into the world. Instead, I encourage you to find an outlet that helps—whether it’s talking to someone you trust, writing your feelings down, or finding another way to process those emotions in a way that brings you peace rather than more negativity. You are also a person with feelings, and I want you to know that I respect you both as an individual and recognize there may be more to the story than surface level shows.

At the end of the day, we all have feelings and struggles. I hope you find a way to express yours that leads to life of peace and joy.

That being said, I planned on leaving it be but after talking it out with my friend @strawberrypinky I realized I don’t want to sit by and leave this kind of behavior go without a different perspective. I want to thank both her and @leenathegreengirl for both being ready to “ride at dawn” so to speak but that’s not my style…

I would like to take this opportunity as a chance to address my concern and then spread positivity. I encourage anyone who sees this to comment below with a story or art piece they really like. Maybe tag a creator they love. Share something good from their life right now. Anything your heart desires. I personally prefer to drown out negativity with positivity.
