Black Clover ch365
Sealing off the Black Bullâs pain is great but what about us huh?? It hurts me seeing everyone getting thrashed so badly! And this chapter has got a copious amount of suffering!
Seeing Charmy go all out with her Food magic and bring the wolf back out is one of the few nice things this chapter gave us. Seems to be quite successful with eating up the angelâs attacks, but Damnatio finds another way to counter as usual.
Now, I may be stupid, but I donât remember if we heard of the supreme devil Baal before? Atmosphere magic definitely seems new though so perhaps this is the first time we hear of both. Either way, itâs doing numbers on our precious Bulls and eliminating them real quick.
Weâve seen all of Secreâs past but this is the moment where it all hit me kinda hard. Living alone for one year seems tough enough, I canât even begin to imagine what 500 could be like. To not interact with anyone, to just be haunted by your own actions and thoughts while you wait around for the perfect opportunity to make things right.. aahh. Gotta give her credit for holding on so long for the sake of her mission and how deep her love of Lumiere was, but Iâm so happy the Bulls were able to provide her with happiness. She truly deserves the world after enduring everything she went through.Â
Itâs so bittersweet to see Luck defend Magna like that, but Iâm very surprised to see Manga attempt the soul chain deathmatch spell again! I thought it was gonna be a one time thing since it took him so long to create it, but here we are! Damnatio wasnât impressed as we were unfortunately and remains completely unfazed.
What hurts my heart the most though is seeing Vanessa get attacked. I was a bit relieved her and Finral were focused on preparing the door of fate and therefore away from the onslaught outside, but shame on me for thinking that tiny moment of peace would last long. Quite surprised even the Witch Queen gets knocked so easily. I was honestly hoping to see her do more this arc since she finally returned after so long.
This moment is very reminiscent of when Sakura calls out for Naruto during Painâs assault on Konoha, mostly because the cry for help actually works.
But daammnn, what an epic entrance this is! I love how comforting that wholesome head pat to Secre is and yet our boy looks so freakinâ serious at the same time.. amazing. That bastard Damnation better be prepared. Ainât no one harms the Bulls and gets away with it!
I hope with Asta now here, it means the Bulls, Dorothy, the Witch Queen & the other forest witches can take a moment to heal up and assist. As much as I wanna see Asta go completely feral against Damnatio, I wanna see everyone else in action again too. (Also, where the hell is Finral at? I know he was working on the fate door as well but I didnât see him when the whole squad was getting tossed around like rags dolls.. unless Iâm blind)

castle 6x19 the greater good
the gates sister episode liveblog (the gateser good)
wow yucky table wow bloody man wow girl taking a pic!
That's actually a cool idea
RC: Câmon! How much fun would that be? (her jaw drops) And talk about an appropriate, if not slightly on the nose, metaphor. A bride and groom together, side by side, as they go through the ups and downs, the twists and turns, and the loopty-loops of life? KB: Castle, I love you. But I will not marry you on a ride or up in space or on a slide. RC: I bet Dr. Seuss got married somewhere fun. (DID he get married in his wife's livingroom?"
Oh no the wedding list episode. My parents got married in the slavic hall of our town, I think it was abt 50 people? 500? No it was 50. Yeah. I kind of wish I could have been there bc it was a lot of fun but I was years away from being born. Well ig I can see my step-mom's wedding. haha. divorced parents.
RC: That way we can determine exactly how big a rollercoaster car we need to build.
Lol "& I will get the phone"
Hey it's one of the other detectives!
RC: Iâm being serious. Getting married is an intimate act and our ceremony should reflect that intimacy. (pause) And that way we can all fit in one car. Ryan, how do you feel about rollercoasters? KR: *walks over and screws up his face.* Ooh, make me nauseous. Why? At least we know ryan's getting invited. & some ryan trivia for ya, rollercoasters make him nauseous. That's also just a thing that happens as you become an adult tho.
Gee ess wed or gunshotwound are both much faster than gee ess doubellyuw. I vote we switch w to being pronounced dubbellyeuw to being pronounced wed.
lol cash taped to his chest *ryan considers it* Maybe he doesn't have a landline & she didn't want to use her cell. anonymity. She is after all a woman just like the one who took the pic of him. The pic makes me think proof; contract killer
it is a crappy photo tbh Ah venezuela my beloved. Maria: He was a scholarship kid, so everything that he got was through hard work. Except for the scholarship money. (Well still, getting a scholarship IS hard work)
KB: This place is either the engine of capitalism or the poster child of greed and corruption Me: Uh yeah that's kind of how it works. Of course we are not talking about meritocracy here. There is no "or" there. Beckett: depending on the paper you read Me: oh
The invisible hand of hte market lmao
KB: Wait, he owns his own island? We should definitely invite him to the wedding. you're already married to a man who owns land on the moon.
Jamie Burman: Killing. Are you capable of it? Because if you are, I will make you rich. Open hunting season! Holy crap I hate these people
Yeah man... sure would get results... Ooh wait beckett's jacket is nice! (Also nice shirt) to the 65th floor from which floor? I mean that would be good exercise but... are you starting one or two floors down? (or up) or are you starting 5 or 10 flights away?
Yay big. Love it. Yeah man! You keep walking you don't think a thing! Dear god the amphetamines you put on this earth for people torun 40 clicks an hour are being used to look at spreadsheets faster. (but yeah I have definitely moved around my medications to get through the work day before.)
On the PALM of his hand? that is not 5-4 days that is 4-5 hours!
my man was wired up!? Is the rest of the cops in on nthis? Oh Lord! She says! I love gates sm! Oh yeah gates is married she probs changed her name. (unless the audio commentary was right & she IS married to a woman. Then who knows) My sister!
Title card!
Love it, the sister rivalry. hatred. family. ELIZABETH WESTON sry capslock. Has the same "look" gates gave to castle
Ah it was recording not streaming! Oh yeah capitalist like that? Yeah man EW: Weâve been trying to mount a case against him for years. Insider trading, securities fraud. We know heâs doing it, we just havenât been able to get proof.
EW: Victoria, this investigation is ongoing and exposing it to Mr. Burman or anyone at J.P Harding would break federal statutes. But I thought that this something that you and your team needed to know. VG: Iâd certainly say so. Yeah y'all r right... Only significant. Which sis is older? Gates right? VG: Oh, well, now you do. *coldly* LOVE IT LOVE IT.
RC: A subtle chill? More like a polar vortex. Iâm guessing something happened between them in the past. Something deeply personal that Gates does not want us to know about. RC: Iâll give you a dollar if you ask her. only a dollar? & can't she get you to uy her a coffee anyway?
Wow outfits!
"had words" is such a way of saying things. RC: How is it not relevant? The video shows you leaving together. Two hours later heâs dead. JB: Itâs not relevant because I didnât kill him. Yeah man! You might say "I have to disclose to you information that would cause me to become a suspect, however I would rather you hear it from me instead of finding it out yourselves. I had a discussion with him. We were at odds. I did not kill him." Or not because never tell the cops anything.
Worked up for a business deal? didn't you see him earlier yelling at his money individuals to make another company bleed? he has a usual table at le cirque
Hire someone sure but hiring killers is expensive, even for a rich guy like him. HOLD ON I JUST REMEMBERED TWO EPISODES AGO. SARA MASKI OR ENOLA MARKOV OR W/E HER NAME WAS-- SHE WAS A CONTRACT KILLER FOR BRACKEN/SIMMONS/LOKSAT & SHE USUALLY USED A KNIFE TO KILL. DICK COONAN ALSO FAVOURED HIS KNIVES & KILLED FOR BRACKEN/SIMMONS/LOKSAT!
RC: Speaking of your sister-- VG: let's not.
Hm, becks' desk buddy has stuff on it. Hector Nunez doesn't have a ~ over the second n tho... they saw him buy a package from this guy & at some point they also caught him with cocaine on him & they said you do what you have to do to get thru the work day
Are you sure? He was a devil he'd never get mixed up with even if you loved him as a kid?
Ooh love the music! bring esposito he speaks spanish. Hey which countries speak portugese (& I know a few speak french) as their colonial language? I mean in the americas. well besides quebec which by a linguistic standard is latin america. I do know that a lot of ppl still speak their native languages which is awesome (up here in canada even us natives barely speak any most of the time, & some places esp the caribbean have lost their languages almost entirely. only a few words that have been adopted into local dialects or other languages. rly sad.)
Clipping hairy Ah dancing my beloved I learned how to play pool the other day. My little brother is SO good at math & has such long arms that we were ahead most of hte time & even on a team with me (I SUCK) we lost by literally one ball to my older bro (who plays a lot of online pool) & my uncle's gf (who doesn't play much but knows how).
Whatever it is: I didn't do it. My man looks genuinely torn up abt this. HN: Who did this? RC: Well we were thinking you. HN: RC: ...might be able to tell us.
Maria said hector nunez tried to get peter in the gang, but hector said he didn't let the gang take peter.
Oh yeah this is all about money. Suisse federal smth. Yeah ofc. HN: I wrote it down in case something went wrong. Smart man! lol becks is taking a pic of som1's phone!?
Gates looks so nice. It was very need-to-know in the first place bros. oOH ESPOSITO OUTFIT! RC: seems kind of passwordy to me! RC: Hacker voice, "We're in!" Castle you've done it again! JE: :| Won't clip
wow $25m is a lot. JE: some expensive sand
Another way? Going to talk to your sis. Oof. Love how they have similar enough looking gals to be sisters. We know she's Black, but she's like,, north african black not sub saharan. She has those awesome cheekbones. Ooh AG! that's what beckett worked under! Oh greater good episode title. Hey isn't the point of not playing the game.. gates' entire thing? Isn't that why she went into internal affairs? Ah letter vs spirit. Another one? This has happened before?
(was she EVER going to be on the list?)
Why would you sit there with the headphones only half on? Do they.. hurt your head? KR: (sighs) I feel bad for Gates. My sisters can never work together. I tell you, when the two of them went at it, oof. (I thought he had 3 sisters... unless he was talking about victoria & elizabeth.) JE: I wouldnât mind going at it with Gatesâs sister. BRO. (reminds me of the audio commentary JE/JH: "I'll win her over. I keep winking at her & blowing her kisses.") & ryan also only puts the headphones half on! (at least they are headphones, not playing this out for the whole world.)
Let me hear the spanish. I am hard of hearing Let Me Read The Spanish! I always love it when russian or spanish or apparently mandarin show up & the characters can speak it. We should have gotten more of alexis speaking french tho. Also I loooove esposito's tie (& his tie & outfit mix) & ryan too rly pretty <3.
over 100! OVER 400! world famous ISH but you don't need to invite your international fans castle! & there is bound to be some crossover. I REMEMBER THE FACT THAT AUNT THERESA POSTED CRAP ABT HIM ON FACEBOOK I LOVE HOW THEY BROUGHT IT BACK Martha my beloved. To clip or not to clip? That's why I have a baby brother (or sometimes big brother) beside me to keep me in line. Alas neither is here. Well I decided to clip apparently.
pic of her & her sis in the desk. how RECENT was their falling-out? (also they are way more Black in that photo than they are as adults wow)
ONLY THREE? Martha u know this is HIS wedding not yours... Btw has castle ever had any step-dads or really good mom's boyfriends? like uncle chet who was uncle to both alexis & rick bc he is not quite family but he is also married in so he is family in law... Nearly 600...
KR: (he thinks) I have a lot of relatives that hate me now. (clipping this lmao) & grabbing a pic of some outfits.
Of COURSE I've heard of armando garcia! I love this consolate guy Mexico city?
Is it really that easy to change your identity? No way. He also totally would have been found.
Find the truth. Are internet cafes real?
Ooh also really nice slightly purple colour & green shirt I like castle's look. & you can see ryan's phone in his pocket /pos Ew watching ppl's dealing in internet cafes? gross.
Why would she blame you? you're just doing your job. Like when becks was in the ag's office & everyonne was mad.
Gates backstory moments: He skimmed a few eight balls off the very boss Elizabeth was building her case around. When my office caught him reselling it, she came to me. Begged me not to file charges. Asked me to think of the greater good. (she pauses) I did my job that day, too. IT HAS BEEN THAT LONG?
you're not telling her that he compromised her case, you're saving her from him having sabotaged your case!
Jamie Burman stole it bc he knew where it was now? Stephanie goldmark, did you really just... leave your computer like that? & did the rest of you have permission to search her computer? unless it is a work computer in which case you can do anything you want ig. HOLD ON THE CAPTIONS CALL IT BERMAN THE TRANSCRIPT SAYS BURMAN IDK WHAT IS GOING ON.
Does he not know abt the investigation or is he faking?
*deletes you forever!!!!* *you still exist as metadata*
Peter/armando: I came to the US believing in the American dream, so I worked hard and tried to be honest in a corrupt government, plants drugs on me, threatens to destroy my future, all because you need someone to testify? How am I supposed to still believe? I did everything I could to play by the rules, but no one else does. So by the time you hear this, Iâll be gone. Remember that one cop who was doing a demonstration at a school on, well basically how to plant drugs on someone? & then he had two kids volunteer to do a demo & the kids pretended one was in labour? Yeah I'm just thinking about them.
Oh no she's going to blame herself for goldie doing that
following our captain's lead! Beckett & Gates are the best. I love them. I love their relationship.
Weston: but at least I wonât embarrass myself in court presenting evidence that is untrue.
THEY LOVE EACH OTHER AGAIN!
KB: I think we have to decide why weâre actually having this wedding. I mean, are we doing this not to insult hundreds of people or are we doing this for us? some of those people would go only bc they don't want to offend you. You should get a wedding photoshoot done now, send a photo & a non-invitation saying "sorry we missed you. We don't have the space for everyone we want to invite, but we still wanted you to have some wedding pics. luv u bye." "We're getting married! *both of them dressed up in wedding gear blowing a kiss to the reader*." On the inside it says, "We're getting married in (season). If you would like photos, please let us know." & then don't invite them. Idk. Idk! screw this, the only reason he's inviting half those ppl is so they don't feel left out that he's inviting their mutual friends.
just "you" no name? Not "me & you" why did one write on the left & the other on the right? Weird. Also totally expected rick to write alexis & stop there. HEY I REMEMBER MADDIE! you don't need to invite gates' family. Just her & a plus-one. & that is just one, not her sister & kids!
I would invite: my parents, my bros, my step-mom (but none of her kids unless the one son wants to come which he probably wouldn't bc it's loud & boring & he's autistic so like.. noise), two friends from culinary school, maybe a third, possibly a fourth but then I'd get into the "If I invite them I have to invite them" trap so only those two, my crew from jr high (& the parents of only one), a family friends 1, family friends 2, no other family friends bc I'm not close w them, & then I started writing it down. My grandparents & aunt & uncles. No family past that, partially bc they live not-close, or at least that's my excuse. & then my 3 martial arts instructors & that's it. Not my older bro's friends I like, nobody from work, none of my second cousins or mom's cousins or dad's cousins, even tho I'd love to invite a lot of them. Probably not that new friend I made. Nobody online. I could get more martial arts friends, my violin teachers, & my old educational assistants- actually yeah I'd invite the person I used to consider my best friend+ until it moved away for college, but tbh probably not our other friend or anyone from the pride club any year, not my hot/cold friend, you know what? I definitely WOULD invite my ed assistants. Not the most recent ta tho, none of my other fave teachers. This stuff is easy. I'm sure after I post this I'd remember so many ppl I need to invite or could invite but wouldn't if I was keeping the list small. Like mu bus friends. All the ppl I included in my "note" a few years back. Actually yeah no yeah that was a very similar experience. I didn't have a lot to say to a lot of people, but I wanted to get everybody sometimes I gave ppl their own pages bc I included a specific person from the group they were in & didn't want to exclude them. I wouldn't invite my childhood best friend. (tho I did invite my jr high crew). None of my international friends-- actually yk what I WOULD invite them. Let them take a vacation here at the same time! Well no I wouldn't. but still. Not my inuit/dutch high school friend. Anyone I had a sleepover with? Not that friend, she was a little bit physically abusive, not those family friends but I like them for sure, not the childhood one, already the middleschool ones, nobody from Camp... Yeah. (just finished the below paragraph) I remembered some more family friends... & forgot them. ig they weren't important enough to invite. choire? no. Moved south? no. mum's friends? no. Crud I can't remember.
edit: I forgot my best friend from late jr high
Moving on, that's the end of the ep. They are just going to re-up their lists. You know what they should do? Whitelist each other's lists. say "yes these people, the rest can be cut" w/o saying "no these people, & we still have to cut more"
fudge I shouldn't have done that, now I feel like writing down every person I have ever fricking met & labelling them yes or no. Oh. I'm so frustrated because I'm not on my meds. but i'm too fucked up to get up & take em. I'm fucking stuck & I don't want to get up until I remember the thing. Adhd based issue here but I need my mood stabilizers. fuck & the typing of my bro is so loud & annoying & hell even I'm struggling to type rn.
just let me end the post idk how to end the post in a way that sounds complete & good to post.
Yes.
that was me being messed up.
amen.
yes that was castle episode. amen. all good.
love you bye.
edit: I realize why I was so messed up. I was late taking my meds & starting my period. Speaking of which, I need to take my testosterone shot today

Youâre Not Alone
(Read on AO3) (TW: reference/light description of a Panic attack)Â
(prompt:Â Can you write one about Simon forgetting to take care of himself and have him like, run avoid the institute and Shadowhunters like the plague because he and Clary got into a fight about something. He goes running to Magnus for support once Alec accidentally runs into him while on patrol. In the end Alec and Magnus become super overprotective of Simon and don't allow anyone to talk to him unless he okays it first. (Also Simon has panic/anxiety attacks caused by thinking about his fight with Clary)
âLet me come with you!â Simon offered eagerly, by Claryâs side before anyone else in the room had the opportunity to even blink.
âSimon, this isnât exactly vampire business,â Jace pointed out.
âSo?â
âWe canât risk that mark on your head acting up and drawing attention on this one.â Isabelle chimed in this time, placing a gentle hand on his arm.
âGood thing it isnât like you can stop me. Iâm free to go wherever I want in the city, after all. If that just happens to be towards Time SquareâŚâ He turned to Clary for support, because he didnât want to leave her side, and surely she wouldnât mind him tagging along.
The hesitation he saw in her expression told him otherwise.
â...Clary?â
âJust sit this one out, okay Simon? Iâve got it. I donât need your help.â
---
Itâs the first day that week that Simon actually feels like heâs doing alright. Sure, heâs gone out of his way to avoid anything within a 30 minute radius of the New York Institute. Sure, heâs even avoiding the Dumort just in case Alec and the others show up there on Clave business. Sure, his family doesnât think heâs alive, and he hasnât spoken to a single person who knows him outside of Jordan Kyle (who got him the temporary residence heâs currently hiding out at) in approximately 6 days, 12 hours, and 39 minutes. Not that heâs counting, because heâs doing alright.
Or he thinks he is, until he sees the flash of red hair in the crowd of people in front of him. Fight or flight. He should run - heâs faster than the girl approaching him, he could be gone in the blink of an eye, before she even realizes heâs there. But instead heâs paralyzed, rooted to the sidewalk, jostled to and fro from the passersby trying to move around his sudden obstructive presence.
Sheâs laughing with Jace and Alec; the blonde has an arm around her and the other rolls his eyes, but looks down at the two of them with a hint of fondness. Simon lets out a choked noise he doesnât mean to, but he canât help it. After going so out of his way to avoid her, to avoid all of them , of course theyâd end up crossing paths in one of the neighboring boroughs he traveled to keep this very scenario from happening.
He doesnât realize heâs crying until theyâre close enough to see him - Jace first, and then the others. Their faces drop one at a time at the sight of him, first surprise, then confusion, and then concern. Simon blinks. He feels his chest contracting as if he canât breathe, a phantom symptom of something heâs grown to know far too intimately the past week. Â
Simonâs having another panic attack.
It happened the first time he saw her after their fight, and a few times after when some of the others tried to talk to him about it. Jace had been with Clary the first time it happened, and he tracked Simon down right after. Izzy and Alec tried to get him to talk about it, and finally Jordan, when he needed help finding a place to live. Too many people. Too much concern he doesnât deserve. He knows theyâre only trying to help, but thinking about it is too much and he decided it would be easier to hide than to run the risk of seeing her again right now.
Some good that did.
âSi--â her voice is quiet, lost in the noise of the people around them even as she takes a few hesitant steps away from the Shadowhunters and toward him. He knows itâs his name because heâs seen it leave her lips enough times to know the shape it takes.
Before she gets a full word out heâs off, stumbling in his haste, nearly barreling himself into a dozen pedestrians in his rush to get away. He doesnât know where heâs going and he doesnât care - he just needs to not be here .
Simon doesnât make it far before he spills out into an alley, tucking himself behind a large dumpster, doing his best to ignore the stench of it while trying to calm himself down. Heâs useless like this. He canât focus enough to remember the way back to his new place. He canât focus on anything except the last time he spoke with Clary, unable to stop the flashes of memory that come. Â
---
âSo, what are we doing today, Fray?â Simon asked, dropping himself onto her bed. âMovie marathon? Chinese? Walk through Prospect Park? Itâs gorgeous out, and...â
âSimon, stop. I canât⌠I canât keep doing this.â
âWalks? If you donât want to go out we can always-â âNo, not walks, Simon. This. Us. You . I knowâŚâ she frowned. âWhat happened wasnât your fault. You donât have to be so clingy now that Iâm back. Iâm fine.â
âI know you are. But I thought I lost you, Clary. I thought I lost you, and all I could think of was all the time we missed out on the past few months.â
âI know. I get it, really I do. But youâre smothering me, Si. I feel like I can barely breathe since I got back. Can you just take a break from constant Clary duty for a little bit?â
âOh. Wow. Okay.â
âI just need some space.â
âAnd what about what I need? I thought you were dead , Clary. Sorry if wanting to be around the one person I have left in my life is a burden to you.â
â You canât just have one friend the rest of your life. I canât keep you busy 24/7.â
â...is that what this is? Iâm sorry, I thought you were my best friend, not my babysitter.â Â Â Â
âYou know I donât mean it like that.â
âDidnât you? Weâve always had each otherâs backs, Fray. Iâve never needed anyone else as long as Iâve had you around.â
âWell, we arenât kids growing up any more, Simon. Things are different now. Weâre different, and Iâm not going to be here forever, so you better get used to that.â To Claryâs credit, she at least managed to look guilty the moment the words, pent up for so long, flood out of her mouth. â... Iâm sorry, itâs just-â
âItâs fine. You made it perfectly clear you donât want me around.â
---
Heâs brought back to the present by a touch on his shoulder. He reacts instinctively, startled into a fight-or-flight response that has his fangs out and in the neck of the unfortunate soul who came to see if heâs alright. Simon drinks from the girl for 15 seconds before the blood in his system works to clear his thoughts, grounding him enough that the panic fades and he realizes what heâs doing, pulling back abruptly.
The girl looks young - 16? Maybe 17? - and wearing an apron. The bag of trash sitting in front of the dumpster tells him she works here, and only came out to get rid of the trash when she found him there.
Simon tenses, immediately channeling his encanto. âYou were attacked by someone who tried to mug you. They were wearing a ski mask so you canât identify them. They cut your neck in the attempt, but youâre going to be fine. You arenât even shaken up by it - youâre surprisingly calm.â
That makes one of us , Simon thinks before taking off again.
He needs help.
---
...but that doesnât mean he has the sense to go seek it out, not at first. He spends another day on his own until he sees a familiar face again - itâs Alec, alone. And he isnât in his Shadowhunter gear. Simon knows thereâs no reason for him to be all the way out here like this, and heâs nervous. Simon can hear alecâs heartbeat racing from where he stands.
âSimon. Simon, please donât run again.â Simon hesitates, looking at the Shadowhunter closely, and it occurs to him that Alec didnât run into him here by accident when he sees the tracking rune (recently drawn) glowing gently on his arm.
Are they hunting him now? He knows that heâs a threat with the Mark on his forehead, and that heâs supposed to be keeping track of everything with the Praetor at the very least, but heâs been off the radar for days now. What if they thought heâd gone entirely Rogue? What if Alec is here to take him in?
He canât let that happen. He canât go back right now, not with Clary there. Simon winces, and gives Alec a look thatâs only half-heartedly apologetic, before taking off.
He doesnât know where heâs going until heâs there, coming to an abrupt halt outside of Magnusâ Loft. If Alec is halfway across town when he left him then itâd be quite a few minutes before heâd make his way back here, so he has time. Hopefully. Then again, if Alec is looking for him, would Magnus just turn him right over anyway? Magnus once told him that he could come to him for help, but⌠well, that was before, and just in general. This is Shadowhunter business his boyfriend is directly involved in.
Simon is still hesitating outside of the Loft several minutes later when the door opens, and Magnus pokes his head out into the hallway.
âAre you coming in, or are you just going to pace out there all day?â He asks, leaving the door open as he disappears back inside.
Simon bites down on his lower lip for a moment longer before following him inside.
âIâm glad youâre here. Did Alec talk to you, then?â
Simon shakes his head. âNo⌠I saw him and took off. You can tell him Iâm sorry about that. But I just couldnât⌠I canât go back there right now.â
âBack where?â Magnus questions.
âBack to the Institute. He was sent to take me in for going AWOL, right?â
âNo. We wanted to find you to make sure everything was alright. After the other day we were worried. I havenât heard a lot about what happened, but⌠well, not to sound too much like a doting guardian, but I know you donât have a lot of people you can turn to if you arenât turning to us. I just wanted you to know that weâre here. If you need us.â
âWe?â Simon asks, not sure who else Magnus is referring to. Raphael wouldnât want anything to do with him, heâs certain...
âMe and Alec. You can trust us. You shouldnât be out there alone, especially not in your condition.â
Simon gives a bitter laugh. âDo I look that bad?â
Magnus looks rueful. â...and I was being nice about it.â
Thereâs the sound of the door handle turning and Simon tenses, getting ready to take off out the balcony, when he sees the height of the man walking through the door and immediately registers it as Alec. The Shadowhunter is speaking before heâs even through the door.
âI found him, but he ran before I could--â Alec sees Simon and trails off abruptly. âOh, youâre here.â
Part of Simon is tempted to run anyway, despite what Magnus told him. It must be pretty obvious by the way Alec hesitates in the doorframe, frozen as if afraid another step will send Simon fleeing again like a startled cat. He isnât half wrong.
âI can leaveâŚâ Alec begins, and Simon is surprised to find itâs sincere. Alec is willing to turn around and leave his own home (is  he living here permanently? Simon realizes that he isnât entirely positive about that, but it sure seems like he spends most of his time here at least, not that that little detail is the most important thing at the moment) just to keep Simon there. Simonâs eyes are wide, thinking fast.
âPerhaps itâs best if you should-â Magnus starts before Simon cuts him off.
âNo, I couldnât-- itâs fine.â He looks from Magnus to Alec. âIâm fine. Stay.â He isnât fine, and they all know it. And he isnât entirely sure if he is really fine with Alec being there, either, but Alec did go through all that trouble to try and find him earlier, so the least Simon can do now in return is not kick the poor guy right back out of his own apartment.
Alec comes into the room fully, shutting the door behind him, and both he and Magnus share a look that questions where to go from here.
âCan I use your shower?â Simon asks. He spent a lot of the past few days on the streets - he is kind of filthy, his hair in knots, his skin and clothing darkened with patches of dirt.
âOf course. There are towels in the closet in the bathroom, right down the hall.â Magnus says without missing a beat.
Simon nods and leaves, using the borrowed time to take a longer than necessary shower, thinking of what heâs going to do, or say, when he gets back out there. He stays in the bathroom until he thinks heâs fine, which clearly isnât the case when he opens the door quietly and hears the conversation from the living room.
â-I just donât know what weâre going to do now that heâs here . It isnât like we can force her to talk to him.â
âI donât think thatâs a good idea, anyway. Poor Biscuit is still recovering from everything she went through on her ownâŚâ
âHe doesnât even know the half of it. Maybe if I could tell him-â
âTell me what?â Simon asks, making his presence known with a confidence he doesnât feel.
â...you were listening.â Alec states the obvious. âWhich means you know I canât tell you. It isnât my story to tell.â
âRight. Itâs herâs.â Simon canât even bring himself to say Claryâs name. âAnd she never wants to speak to me again, so I might as well just leave the city because it isnât like Iâll ever have another person to talk to here, will I? Not with my family glamoured and Raphael gone and now the lot of you hiding things from me and Clary--â
The words tumble out of Simonâs mouth in a rush, but the moment he says her name itâs too much. His eyes screw shut against the tears he canât afford to shed again, not here, not in front of Magnus and Alec. It doesnât matter, because soon his whole body is shaking, hands balled into fists at his side in an effort to hold back the wave of panic he feels over the idea of losing Clary forever.
Alec hesitates, but Magnus is by his side a moment later, hands gently coming to rest on his heaving shoulders. âItâs alright. Weâre here for you. We arenât going anywhere.â
It takes three minutes for those words to calm Simon, so that his thoughts clear enough to process them.
âItâs all my fault,â Simon says at last, the words half-spoken, half-sobbed. âI pushed her too hard⌠I pushed her away. She hates me now.â
âShe doesnât hate you. She just needs some space,â Alec says, but not before looking Simon up and down with serious consideration. â...have you always gotten panic attacks?â Alec asks, voice low and full of concern.
It isnât a question Simon expects. He doesnât realize heâs been so obvious about it and doesnât have an answer at first.
âI used to get them sometimes. I could usually hide it, or take it out on the punching bag before they got too bad.â Alec offers the explanation freely to fill the silence.
âYou?â Simon asks. He runs the entire Institute of Shadowhunters. He kills demons for a living . Simon canât imagine a world where Alec Lightwood might be brought out of commission by panic or anxiety. He canât imagine an Alec that isnât full of eyerolls and snarky confidence.
âYeah,â Alec huffs out a breath of a laugh, not quite making eye contact. Itâs obvious this isnât something he speaks of often⌠or at all.  âMe. So I get it. If you, you know⌠wanted to talk or something.â
Magnus is there to talk about his Downworlder problems. Alec is there to talk about his panic attacks, and maybe even about Clary a little. The offers are there, if he can bring himself to take them.
And what option does he have other than going back out onto the streets, alone?
â...do you think I could crash here for a little?â
---
The first test of this newfound, tentative friendship with Alec and Magnus is when thereâs a knock at the door the following morning. Simon, asleep on the sofa, hears the insistent banging first. He knows that it can be any number of people before itâd be Clary, but that doesnât stop the thought from crossing his mind. The next thing he knows heâs down the hall, pressed against the farthest wall from the front door that isnât barging straight into Magnus and Alecâs bedroom.
âAlec? You in there?!â A voice sounds from the other side of the door now, loud enough to be heard through it and from where Simon hides. Jace. The next to last person he wants to see, aside from the obvious.
Thereâs rustling from the bedroom and Alec padds out in sweatpants and socks and nothing else, wiping at his eyes. It takes him a moment to notice Simon but when he does his brow furrows. âIâll get rid of him,â Alec promises with zero hesitation, and Simon looks after him as he hurries the rest of the way to the front door, speaking in hushed whispers that Simon can still pick up on.
âI said itâs under control, Jace.â
âIt isnât safe to keep him here. We donât know what heâs--â
âMagnus and I got this. Iâll see you at the Institute.â
The door shuts again, and when the sound of footsteps comes back towards him itâs just one set: Alecâs.
âHeâs gone, donât worry. Iâll talk to the others later, let them know youâre alright.â
Simon makes a noise that sounds like it can almost be a laugh, if not for how bitter it is. âI wish I was.â He does, however, ease up off the wall. âThanks, though.â
âDo you want to talk about it?â âNo.â The word is instinctive. He isnât ready. Even just thinking about it-- no, he canât talk about it yet.
âWeâre here if you do,â Magnus reassures Simon, making his way out of the bedroom after the early wake-up before heading to the kitchen to start breakfast and coffee. Simon settles back in on the sofa while they go about their morning routines, not needing any of that, and not having anywhere else to go.
Magnus lingers after Alec is gone for the day, and looks like heâs debating whether to do whatever it is he has planned at all. Simon can tell heâs stalling.
âIâll be fine. Really. You guys are already doing more than enough for me, I owe you. Enough to not run away the second you turn your head, I swear.â Heâs enough of a burden to Clary and the others⌠he knows how much trouble heâll cause if he runs off now. He doesnât want to be the reason for any more worry than he already has been.
âAlright.â Magnus finally agrees. âHelp yourself to the blood. And if you do leave - youâre not a prisoner here, after all - itâd make me feel better if you at least let me know.â
âOkay.â Simon can promise that much. He doesnât go anywhere, though. He watches some movie on tv, has a little blood to keep his energy up and his head clear, and eventually grabs a book off of Magnusâ shelf to read. He pretends not to catch the flicker of relief in Magnus and Alecâs eyes when they both portal home together later that afternoon and find him still there.
---
Itâs several hours after dinner when thereâs another knock at the door. The three of them are in the living room, winding down with some mindless reality TV that Simon insists they have to experience at least once, and all three of them tense at the sound.
âYou arenât expecting anyone, are you?â Alec asks Magnus, who only shakes his head.
âI need a less popular place to lay low,â Simon groans, deflecting the spike of fear he feels with humor. If he can joke, heâs fine, right? Good old Simon, up to his normal tricks?
He almost has himself convinced that he is actually okay after Jaceâs sudden arrival yesterday, until Magnus goes to answer the door, stopping to look through the peephole.
âItâs Clary.â
That, Simon isnât ready for.
âNo.â He shakes his head, the motion gaining speed with each back-and-forth. Just the thought of her brings their fight back to the front of his mind. He canât think of her without thinking that she wonât be by his side forever. He hates how much that thought gets under his skin and into his head - he despises how much itâs ruining not only him, but his and Claryâs friendship.
âShe knows youâre here, so she has to be here for you. You donât want to work things through, maybe just hear her out?â Alec tries, but is only met with more vehement headshaking.
âNo.â Simon canât put into words why not. He knows that he should want to, that talking to her again, being her friend again, is obviously something he still wants and needs in his life. But he also knows that if he tries to now itâll all go wrong. He can barely form a coherent thought about Clary without thinking of an eternity without her since their fight. He almost lost her once, and now he is going to lose her forever , and somehow he doesnât think he can face her without breaking down entirely.
âIâll take care of it,â Magnus says, sliding the lock out of place and cracking the door open just enough to slide through.
âMagnus, hey. Is Simon still here?â Simon feels himself ache at the sound of her concern.
âBiscuit, how about we talk out here for a second.â Magnus is gone a moment later, and Simon strains to hear whatâs said behind the closed door.
âItâll be best if you donât come around for a little while, at least not unannounced, okay? Tell the others, too.â
There is a pause, but the definitive tone of Magnusâ voice makes it clear that it isnât up for debate. The tension in Simonâs shoulders only fades when he hears the door shut again, followed by the soft sound of retreating footsteps.
âShe wonât come back. No one will besides the two of us, not unless you say you want them here. Deal?â
âWhy are you doing this for me?â Simon asks instead of replying.
âBecause we all deserve a safe space to cope, Simon. Iâve been where you are. Losing the people you love, facing your own immortalityâŚâ Magnus trails off with a small, sad smile. âIâm still there, every time I get attached to someone I know will be taken from me one day.â He casts a forlorn look in Alecâs direction that nearly breaks Simonâs heart. âIf being alone is what you need right now, itâs what youâll get. Iâd rather kick a few people out of the Loft for a while than have you suffering alone on the streets.â
âThank you. And yeah, Iâd appreciate that. Not forever. I just need some time to process. I hadnât consideredâŚâ Simon looks from Magnus, to Alec, and back, before deciding to talk. âWe had a fight because after she got back I got too clingy. But I already lost her once, and I wanted to make sure we spent as much time together as we could now that sheâs back. But when she pointed out she wouldnât be around forever, I just⌠I donât know. Something snapped. I just lost my family, Maia left town, Clary is the only constant I have left, exceptâŚâ
âExcept she isnât. Because no mortal person will ever be a constant for you anymore.â Magnus supplies, nodding slowly. âItâs a lot to accept for someone you love, especially as early on in your immortality as you are. Itâs natural, Simon. You donât have to be ashamed of it.â
Simon huffs. âYeah, okay, well is it normal to not even be able to look at the one person you actually want to spend time with?â
Magnus sighs, his voice full of the sort of patience that comes with decades - no, Simon reminds himself, centuries - of life experience when he speaks again. âIt is when youâre hyper-fixating on the bad, the inevitable, instead of the potential good of the present. It wonât be forever.â
Simon nods, though he isnât sure he believes him. After all, forever is exactly what he has stretched out in front of him. Why shouldnât it last forever?
---
Magnus is right, though. Simon stays at the Loft for the following week. It takes him another day to really start talking about it, mostly with Magnus, but eventually with Alec, too. After losing his family, and then Maia, Clary is all he has left. Or so he thinks. Magnus and Alec are both far more understanding than he deserves, and after a few talks with Magnus about how he dealt with this the first few times he faced it Simon starts to think that he might be able to face people again. He starts to realize that, as much as he needs Clary in his life, she mightâve had a point -- he needs more than just her, no matter what he thought before. And maybe he had more all along without realizing it.
The others ask about Simon, Clary in particular, but Alec always checks in with him first to see if heâs ready to talk to any of them. Simon starts by allowing Jordan to come over, if only to spare Alec the duty of reporting about Simon to the Praetor in Jordanâs absence.
âAre you certain?â Alec asks, and where Simon expects to see nothing but relief that he wouldnât have to worry about that any more, there is only concern.
Simon nods. âYeah. I can talk to Jordan, stay on his radar again. Youâve done more than enough for me already, you donât need to keep checking in with the Praetor, that isnât your job. I owe him an explanation for taking off like that, anyway.â
Alec gives him a once-over before nodding. âOkay.â The werewolf is the first person in the Loft besides the three of them in a week. After that itâs Izzy, and thenâŚ
âClary wants to know if she can come over,â Alec says slowly, a little while after his return home from the Institute one day. Simonâs jaw clenches instinctively. He doesnât reply for a few moments that stretch into seconds, and then a full minute before he makes a decision.
âYeah. I want to -- I need to talk to her. But do you think you could stay this time?â With the others Alec and Magnus had made excuses to leave. He appreciated it, but that isnât what he needs this time around. âJust in case...?â He doesnât need to say what the âjust in caseâ is. He thinks heâs ready. Magnus said as much days ago, even if Simon made a point of talking to everyone else before Clary. But if he isnât⌠he doesnât want to be alone with her if he is wrong. Would she understand? Would he be able to explain?
âOf course, Si. Weâll be in Magnusâ workroom.â
âThanks.â Simon exhales a sigh of relief his body doesnât strictly need, but he feels better regardless.
An hour later the knock on the door sounds, soft and hesitant. Itâs Alec, not Simon, who goes to answer it, pausing with his hand on the knob to give Simon one last questioning glance - a last chance to change his mind.
Simon only nods, getting ready to face Clary again for the first time in the nearly two weeks since their fight. Itâs been about a week since his last panic attack, and he only teared up a little while talking to Isabelle the other day. He can do this, he thinks to himself. And if he canât, then Alec and Magnus will be there to help, an unexpected safety net in this current chapter of his immortal life.
Whatever happens next, he knows he isnât alone. Not anymore.

Obey me
Scenario: You're a child angel who accidentally fell from heaven and can't go back since You still haven't learned how to fly, so you somehow met the brothers, and they just can't stop gushing about how adorable you are
This is fluff all the wayđ¤
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh" you screamed as you were falling down, you tried to flap your wings really hard but it's just not working. You regret skipping all those flying lessons just to go play
After 10 minutes of falling down, you somehow got a view of the ground and you feel like you'll really die but there are people down there and it looks like they're arguing
"Mammon, pay back the money you owe me right now" Levi glared at the white haired demon
"huh, i told you I'll pay you soon"
"you said that 500 years ago" Levi shouted as a matter of factly "I wish you get hit by a meteor" levi added
Mammon was about to retort back but was stop by a nearing shout from above. It wasn't just mammon who heard it, on cue, all the demon brothers looked up to see a squishy white furball crying and falling straight towards them
Beel was the first to act fast, turning into his demon form and soaring through the air to catch you even before you touch the ground
10 ft above the air, beel caught you and after realizing you were safe you just cried even more, you were thanking the glutton in mid air but what came out of your mouth was incoherent babbles that no one can understand
Beel thought you looked cute but i think it would be best to get you to stop crying first. He lowered his altitude until his feet touch the ground, he have no idea how to make you stop crying so he just held you out to lucifer
Lucifer doesn't know what to do either, the last time he nursed a child was when satan was a child and children normally cry seeing him so are you sure I'm the right person for this
Your tears and snot were becoming one and asmo was quick to prevent such disaster, he took you from beel, cradled you in his arms and took the handkerchief he always has to wipe your nose
While you were staring at the beautiful demon, you felt a poke on your back, more precisely on your wings
"Hey, this child's an angel" Mammon stated while poking your wings
You slapped mammon's hand away hard but it just felt like a tap to the demon
"dwon't do twhat, it hwurts" you said trying to cover your wings
Your whole demeanour just screams cuteness and your messed up pronunciation was like a cherry on top, The boys were definitely starting to melt inside
Seeing how everyone was just staring at you, lucifer spoke up
"Let's go inside first, we'll ask the explanation there"
Everyone wasted no time to go inside except belphie
"but what about school, aren't we going there"
"that's funny coming from you belphie" mammon teased
Their childish banter came to a halt when lucifer gave them a stern look. Asmo sat down on the couch and was about to place you on his lap but was stopped when satan put you on the coffee table between the couches
Now you were surrounded by the brothers and you didn't know where to look but you just opted to look at your savior and properly thank him this time
"Twhank you mwister" you said slightly bowing your head towards beel
Asmo was about to squish the life out of you when satan pulled him back to his seat, he was just jealous how asmo can openly express his feelings about your cuteness
"Child, may i ask the reason why you fell from heaven" lucifer asked trying to sound as gentle as he can
"I...I was plwaying" you played with the hem of your white dress/shirt "I was plwaying by jwumping in the clwouds but i swlipped" the moment you finished your explanation, your eyes became teary again
Satan quickly came to hoist you up from the table unto his arms, rubbing your back soothingly saying it's ok
"And you can't fly?" Mammon stupidly asked, this earned a good smack from levi, and a glare from the rest
"i cwan't fly yet" you sadly admitted
"of course you can't, your wings as tiny as a chick's wings" Belphegor bluntly stated
A vase coming from another direction came flying towards the sloth but he was quick to dodge, eyeing the culprit of that throw, satan
The brothers came to an understanding that they will soon contact the angels from purgatory hall to help you be brought back to the celestial realm
But for now, the brothers are taking turns from taking care of you
.....
"Lwook, a kwitty" you showed satan the cat that was sleeping in your arms, damn he feels like his in heaven, what is this creature that is bursting with cuteness
.....
"you can just sit on my lap you know" lucifer said eyeing your small frame that's running around stacking papers in his office, what did he do to deserve such a cute little helper, but do be careful of papercuts little one
......
"say money"
"mwoney" you beamed
"no money" he corrected
"mwoney" you huffed
Lucifer gave Mammon a day long lecture after he heard you repeat those words during dinner, you should've seen the horror on his face when all of the brothers face turned into glares directed to him
.....
"why awre you cwryin?" you said wiping levi's tears
"ruri chan is so pretty isn't she" levi said slightly pinching your cheeks
"ywes she is, bwut ywou're pwettier" you beamed as you touched him in the face
He immediately covered his face muttering you're just like that one anime protagonist
.....
"come on sweetie, give me a pose"
"bwut i dwon't know how two" you pouted
"yes, just like that, perfect" asmo squeled, taking the 100th pic for that hour alone
He basically has 10 albums full of your pictures
....
"beel stop giving her candies"
"beel, no chocolates"
"that's enough ice cream for her"
Beel always spoil you with any kinds of foods even if he ends up getting a lecture about how your teeth will rot because of too much sweets
....
"sleep"
"bwut, i wanna pway" you squirmed under his tight hug
"play in your dreams"
"that's nwot pwossible"
"kid, you need to stop playing, remember why you fell in the first place?"...... "yeah it's because you played, so sleep" belphie added
We all have that one mean uncle and belphie's definitely that one, but eventhough he doesn't say it out loud, he definitely cares for you, like how he makes sure to catch you with his tail when you trip
MEANWHILE IN PURGATORY HALL
"simeon your back" luke chirped greeting the other angel
"I'm tired, it's been a week and we still haven't found MC" simeon sighed
"why don't we ask for help with the brothers, I'm sure they'll help somehow" solomon added
"yeah, i guess I'll do that"
The next day simeon trudged towards the house of lamentation, when he opened the door, he was stunned by the situation
You on mammon's back, yelling faster horsey and beel on the back making sure to catch you if you fall, levi gushing at how cute you were, satan laughing at mammon's state, asmo taking pictures, belphie encouraging you to go faster, and lucifer scolding belphie
Wait, that child, that's the angel that went missing. Simeon could feel all his fatigue washing over him, why in the world are there an angel child in this house
Simeon was quick to apprehend lucifer, he should've reported it to him the moment you fell down
"i was going to"
"you were going to?" simeon sternly said " almost every angel up there searched for that kid in weeks worth" he added
You and the rest of the brothers were outside lucifer's office door just listening but you suddenly opened the door making levi fall on top of mammon who also fell
"Mwister pwease dwon't be mad at Luci, it's my fwault, i fwell from heaven because i was plwaying too much" you pleaded to the angel while fidgeting
Simeon's anger quickly melted seeing you, he can understand why the brothers kept you here, as much as he would like to have you stay, you don't belong here at the devildom
With a lot of tears, you said goodbye to the brothers and went back to heaven, You missed them and they missed you
A few years later
"are you sure about this"
"of course i am"
"but do you really have to fall, you can just fly you know" Michael said
"but where's the fun in that"
You jumped on a cloud and completely dive down towards devildom cause now you are the new exchange student from the celestial realm
A/N: This idea came to me while i was having a staring contest with the gecko in our house haha
Also credits for the pic goes all to the owner

Good afternoon, I have some anti capitalist propaganda for everyone.
I recently got a new boss. He sucks ass for a multitude of reasons, including but not limited to:
Owing at least 3 of my coworkers money for multiple weeks; he owes one $2500+ and another $500+. He keeps saying he'll pay them [insert day] and then doesn't. He has actively refused to pay the one he owes $2500+, even telling her "you make too much," when he made her district manager of all 3 of our stores because he can't take any responsibility for himself.
He requires prepay for a service. Aka you are paying upfront when it's not guaranteed your product (dry cleaning) will come back cleaned right, unruined, or unlost.
He put a fee on our credit card machine so he doesn't have to worry about it with his taxes. He took down the sign he put up to notify customers of said fee, and told us not to tell customers, aka he doesn't want us telling customers we're charging them more than we're saying, and to lie to them. He claimed two weeks ago he'd remove this fee and hasn't.
He said he won't be paying us overtime or sick days. Not paying us overtime is illegal in our state. And dare I mention he said something about making the full time employees (ie: my mother) work 66 hours a week?
He only wants us to have $40 in singles at the end and beginning of each day. Aka we have no change ever for many of our customers who pay in cash, which forces them to use their card on the machine with a fee. When we run low on singles, he makes us walk across our mall's parking lot to the bank where ""he has one million dollars in an account"" to get singles. Yesterday he made me do this in a blizzard and negative temperatures, and the bank was closed because of the Midwest's current deadly weather. So I did it for nothing. When I called and informed him, he said he would come bring me singles to my store. 15 minutes later he called again and said he wouldn't make it because of the snow. I had to ask for exact change or force them to use the machine with a fee.
One morning he straight up forgot to give me any cash at all and took 2 hours to make a 15 minute drive from the main store to my store to give me said cash.
Another time he was supposed to come to my location to collect the day's money. Again, 15 minute drive. He never showed up. Then returned to the main store 5 minutes before it was supposed to close. We have no fucking idea where he was that whole time.
His changes have chased away regular customers who have been coming to us 20+/30+/50+ years. And other less long-time regulars too. We told him all 3 stores are getting several complaints DAILY and being told by SEVERAL customers that they're not coming to our cleaners anymore. He quite literally told me to my face "oh well."
He ignores any and all feedback employees and customers alike give him. He blatantly ignored me to my face twice. Related, he can't get it through his thick fucking head that we're a business in the suburbs, not the city, so things don't work the same as his shitty cleaners in Chicago.
We're a small mom and pop business who's been struggling since the pandemic. This is part of why my previous absolute saint of a boss sold the 3 stores to this douchebag. This ignorant moron said we'd probably lose 10% of our business and "it'd be fine," when we're struggling as it is.
We have 9 employees for 3 stores. He tried to make my coworker he dumped all responsibility on fire 5 of us (rather than doing it himself), including the one that trained her for the job years ago. He called all of us replaceable, even the one he dumped all responsibility on. He also took down all Help Wanted signs and said we definitely have enough staff.
We've caught him in MULTIPLE lies ranging from white lies about his personal life to MAJOR lies about our business and how he wants us to run the stores. We've also witnessed him lie to customers.
He doesn't communicate at all, he's told all 3 stores 3 separate things. There's no reasoning for this, all 3 stores do the same shit. All 3 stores have always done everything the same way before now. He just literally doesn't communicate properly. He changed store hours, and was shocked to find that my store didn't change them weeks later. We didn't change them because he didn't tell us to, he didn't tell us when the change was supposed to go into effect.
He's impossible to contact. If you call and he doesn't answer, his voicemail box is full. He doesn't call back. If you don't have his cell number to text him, you're screwed. There's no guarantee he'll answer texts either.
He's trying to change our entire system that keeps track of customers and implement a text system that will tell the customer their cleaning is done. I told him many customers we get are elderly people who don't text and don't even have smartphones and can't get that notification. He said he didn't care, and that they'd just have to remember their cleaning or forget it. Might I mention that after 60 days or more, he plans on selling the clothes on eBay?
He has a fake service dog (he told my coworker himself) that he brings to our main store every day and forces my coworker to babysit while she does her work. Work that you can't do and watch a dog at the same time. This is the one he owes $2500+ to btw.
That coworker looked up his full legal name (which she has access to since she had all his responsibilities dumped on her, including his personal emails) and found an article that strongly suggests he has a criminal history, if it's definitely him and a credible source. The kicker is, he has a very unique non-White name that we'd be very shocked to hear more than one person has. I can't confirm if the article is legit even so, because I obviously don't have his legal name. But she sent me a screenshot of the article and the crime was gun related. My coworker also saw emails of his that she, a recovering addict, is confident are drug dealing related.
The heat in my specific store hasn't worked properly in months. My previous boss was too tight on money to fix it. He was literally maintaining just enough to pay all employees and the essentials for the stores. He cared way more about us than money.
And the heat not working is what brings me to my real post, despite those reasons being more than enough to birth a new anti capitalist. Here's my REAL post:
So that deadly Midwestern weather right now? -20°F to -70°F in some parts? For my non-Americans, that's -20°C to -56°C. Without "RealFeel"/Wind Chill included. Those are daytime temperatures, not how cold it gets at night.
It was snowing SIDEWAYS almost the entire day yesterday, and he didn't close the stores. I had to work. My car is small and light, it slides and gets stuck super easily. Our roads are not plowed right now. I'm relying on the grooves from traffic to avoid driving in snow that'll get me stuck. I have to drive 20mph at the fastest on roads where the limit is 40-45mph.
Today it's-3°F (-19°C). For the high. RealFeel/Wind Chill is -27°F (-32°C). There are wind gusts up to 55mph. Visibility on the road is almost nonexistent, snow is blowing everywhere in massive walls across the streets, which still aren't properly plowed.
He still had my mom work today from 7am to 3pm, in our store that has no working heating. The inside of our store has been about 50°F (10°C) at the warmest all day. We're relying on two small and unhelpful space heaters, one at the front of the store and one at the back, to keep any form of heat in the store, which is all immediately sucked out the second our door opens for even a second. He also had the audacity to ask my mom to walk across the parking lot in this weather, to the bank as soon as they opened (which isn't even open) to get singles again, rather than bringing them despite there no longer being any snow preventing him from coming in his big ass definitely snow-safe truck.
It's still so cold in this store that my mom and I have our coats, hats, gloves and scarves on. I'm currently wearing 4 layers, a scarf and gloves sitting literally inches from one of our space heaters to keep myself warm. We have had maybe 5 customers since 7am. It's now 4pm.
Normally I would be working until 6pm today. At 6pm, it will be -6°F (-21°C), RealFeel/Wind Chill -40°F (-40°C according to my converter. It's so fucking cold our temperatures are syncing). My mom called our boss to see if we can close early, even mentioning that we've had no business today to try and persuade him further. He said we can. At 4:30pm, which was 2 hours from when she called him.
He's so greedy, he'd rather leave us in these conditions for a little longer despite there being 0 benefit to anyone rather than just sensibly closing right then and there. I've been here an hour and we've had no customers. At 4:30pm, it'll be dark outside on top of the already poor visibility outside, on top of rush-hour traffic, on top of roads in garbage condition.
He's quite literally choosing profit he's not going to make over my and my mom's lives, because if the worst happens as we're driving in those conditions, with the car that slides and gets stuck easily that I mentioned before, we could die if we crash or slide off the road.
Fuck capitalism, eat the fucking rich.
#anti capitalism#anti capitalist#rant#eat the rich#dont worry im ofc going to do my best to stay safe. im not worried but theres Always a possibility things will go wrong#slim likelihood doesnt make what hes doing not shitty

2022 has been, well, let's say a continuation of the pandemic years for me. I'm a little lacking in emotional resilience these days, and I'm dragging myself over the line with the hopes that next year will be kinder. But it hasn't all been bad. I've had some amazing times with friends and family, I paddled in the sea with my nephew, I finally saw @bethanyactually again after so fucking long, and I've learned a few things. So I thought I'd do the counting my blessings thing, and look back on the good things this year.
2022 was the year that IâŚ
Wrote nearly 200k words. That's over 500 words a day. That is two full-length novels. And I finished and posted about 130k of it on AO3, whichâlook, I've not been tracking it this way before now so I don't have the stats, but it's DEFINITELY a higher rate of finishing than I've had before. And @wheresmytowel deserves all my thanks for, oh, so much of that. I'm gradually figuring out what works for me in terms of completing stories, and I'm really happy with my progress on that front.
Discovered that armpit hair is cute. I'm serious. Look, I've given up shaving before, but I don't think I've stuck to my guns for this long, well, ever. But this summer, after my last trip to the beach with the family, I decided, to hell with it. And now it's all grown past the spiky stubble stage, and the beard-on-someone-who-can't-really-grow-a-beard stage, and it's kind of luxuriant andâŚgoddamn it, it's fluffy. It is cute. Why is it always seen as a Statement or an insult, something strident and unfeminine and unkempt, when long hair is otherwise seen as an ultra-feminine attribute? I love my fluffy little pits, and legs, and bits. It's possible I'll chicken out when summer comes around againâbut until then, I'll get a fond little 'yay' moment, every time I see the kitten fluff under my arms.
Decided that I didn't want the career I've got. This is a difficult one, but it's been a long time coming. A large part of why I am where I am comes from me trying to live up to the (impossible) legacy of my mother, andâŚokay, yes, I am also a firm believer in the value of public sector work and everyone pitching in to make the country and the world a better place. But I've been doing something along those lines for nearly 20 years now, and I'm kind of burnt out, ngl. And I'm sad to say, I might be done with the NHS. I truly believe in it, and I am loyal through and through, butâŚit's an increasingly hard place to work, and I don't think I have the mental stamina for it any more. Maybe once I've stepped away, and regrouped for a few years, I will come back. But at the moment, it's a really bad place to be for my mental health, and as a result of that, I'm doing an increasingly poor job of things that I used to find easy. So, I just need to stop, really, for everyone's sake, and do something different.
Started painting again. Slowly and cautiously. I started to think about it in the summer, and took some reference photos of some stuff I might like to paintâthen a few months after that I got my easel down from dad's attic and took stock of my paint and brushesâthen I dragged out one of my old canvases that never got properly usedâand a couple of months ago I ordered some new paintâand applied a base layer to wipe off a painting that was haunting me with bad memoriesâand then applied another base layer to start building it up into something newâŚand, yeah, that's where I'm at. But it's a start, and it's more painting than I've done in a very, very long time, and I'mâŚcautiously excited.
Put some other tentative stakes in the ground for things I might want to doâjob stuff, writing stuff, house stuffâŚall too much to do all at once, and it probably won't all happen next year, because I don't think I could handle that, but at least it feels like I'm not stagnating. Even if I need to remind myself of that, sometimes.
Jesus, I sound fragile. I am fragile, honestly, my confidence is easily knocked, and I'm anxious about a lot of stuff, and I feel like I keep having to gently lead myself along like a 90yo with a broken hip, and I've got things in the new year that I'm dreading (particularly job hunting, god help usâbut I'm on a temp contract at the moment, so I don't have a choice). ButâŚI'm getting there.
Here's to 2023.

My Tasha
Word count: 7334
Genre: Mostly angst but the ending is fluffy
Pairing: Natasha x fem!reader
Warnings: A sort of suggestive scene? I think that's all (let me know if I need to add any)
Request: congrats on those 500â love!!! they are well deserved for all of your amazing words 𼺠i was just thinking how cute it be for nat to take a liking to reader, so she tries all those âseductiveâ tricks the red room taught her, but r just reads it as a cocky fuckboy thing and rejects her? soft!nat appearing later to ask her out? đĽş
Summary: Natasha tries to seduce you at a party but you misunderstand, assuming she's just using you. Both of you mope before realizing what happened.
A/n: Finally I finished this! It was supposed to be 2000 words max but I got carried away and @teenwonder I blame you since you were the one who sent in this idea. I actually really like how this turned out, even if it differs from the prompt slightly so I hope you guys like it too because this probably took at least ten hours to write and I have lost way too much sleep over it. Enjoy!
Natasha looks in the mirror and lifts the corner of her mouth into a slight smile. She looks hot and she knows it, spending hours in front of the mirror perfecting the look. Her eyeshadow screams seduction and her lipstick highlights and colours the natural shape of her lips. Her lashes are curled to perfection and her makeup is applied with the technique she learned years ago that was guaranteed to make people stare. Her hair is straightened because it matches the look and also the last time she straightened it you had complimented her hair so she knows you like it.
Her dress is black, the colour that looks best on her, with a neckline that is dangerously low and the bottom riding dangerously high on her thigh. Her heels are her go to ones for anytime she wants to seduce anyone, they manage to work every time and have become a small symbol of luck for her and tonight she needs all the luck she can get for tonightâs party.
Usually people are easy to seduce, she just has to figure out the likes and dislikes of her target and play up to them. Tonight shouldnât be much different except for the big added aspect of her actually caring. Sheâs never had to seduce someone sheâs wanted to before so she knows itâs going to be harder than normal. Taking a deep breath she pushes the nerves away and smirks at her own reflection before going to meet everyone in the main room.
Your breath hitches when she walks in and you quickly look away so it doesnât seem like youâve been waiting for her arrival. Sheâs gorgeous, she always is, but tonight thereâs something about her thatâs different, like she put more effort than usual. You force yourself to stay calm and look away, pretending to still be interested in the conversation you had been having with Carol that you zoned out of the moment Natasha entered the room.
Carolâs looking at you strangely. âWhat?â
She gives a half laugh. âYou think I didnât notice you drooling over Natasha.â
âThat obvious?â you ask and she nods. âDamn.â
âDamn is right, sheâs smoking!â Carol whisper-yells, glancing over quickly and then back to you.
âCarol!â you exclaim aghast.
She laughs again. âDonât worry Iâm not trying to steal your girl, after all I have Valkyrie.â
âYes and you constantly remind me of that.â you mumble which she ignores.
âIâm just saying that some people are already staring at her and are going to be all over her soon, you need to make your move quickly.â she finishes.
âI will.â you tell her, with no real intention of going to talk to her.
âSure you will,â she says quietly at first before yelling in Natashaâs direction, âHey Romanoff! Come here.â
Natasha is surprised and she hopes Carol isnât calling her over because she noticed her staring. Logically she knows that Carol doesnât want to date you and is dating Valkyrie but it looked far too much like flirting in her opinion. There were whispers and giggles and at one point you got all flustered and embarrassed. She doesnât like how possessive she feels over you when she has no right to but somehow when it comes to you she canât quite control herself.
Showing none of the inner thoughts that go through her head she weaves her way over to you. At first some of the team is staring because they got startled by Carolâs yell but a small glare gets them to look away again.
âHey.â Carol greets when she walks over.
âHey.â she says back with a smile and itâs not her fault if the smile is a little flirtier than normal and directed more towards where youâre standing. âWhatâs up?â
âI want to go find Valkyrie and see whatâs taking so long for her to come back from the bar but didnât want to leave Y/n all alone at a party and since you were alone too I thought it would be a great idea for you guys to spend the party together!â she explains quickly. âIâll come back soon!â
With that she leaves and you and Natasha are left looking at each other awkwardly. She wants to say something to break the silence but all her earlier confidence is gone and she feels like a schoolgirl with her first crush. Which is half true, she is definitely not a schoolgirl but sheâs never had feelings like this for anybody before.
âYou donât have to stay here.â you offer, feeling bad that she was forced to come here and babysit you. Carol is your best friend but sometimes you just canât stand her. This is so uncomfortable and Natasha is looking at you weirdly and you just know that sheâll apologize and leave so she can spend the party with people who actually know how to have fun.
âI know but I want to.â she says and you canât help looking away shyly and smiling. She smiles herself at your cuteness, now slightly more confident knowing that she can make you react like that.
---
She smirks as for the thousandth time that night you struggle to keep your gaze from dipping below her neck. The dress was a good choice and judging based on your lack of eye contact you appreciate it. She knows you find her attractive, itâs hard not to know that with you staring at her boobs every few seconds but as the night goes on sheâs more and more hopefully that you want to date her. Your flushed cheeks and occasional stuttering give you away.
Some guy interrupts your conversation and she resists the urge to punch him. She doesnât know what heâs here for and shouldnât punch people for interrupting a conversation with a girl she really really likes (she doesnât allow herself to consider love just yet).
âHey beautiful.â he greets her, stepping into her space and ignoring you. Against her better judgment she does punch him and giggles as he staggers backwards muttering about bitches under his breath. Really the punch shouldnât have affected him that much, it was light and not in an area that would cause serious injury, he was just weak.
âHoly fuck.â you whisper under your breath.
âThat didnât bother you, did it?â she rushes to confirm, not wanting to have upset you by resorting to violence. She wasnât quite sure how to take your holy fuck, whether you meant it in a good way or not.
âIt was so hot.â you breath and then immediately clamp a hand over your mouth once youâve realized what youâve said out loud.
Youâre about to apologize but she speaks first. âReally?â
You donât understand how she makes her voice sound so smooth and seductive but it makes your knees weak. Youâre nervous but thereâs no point in taking it back now and it does seem like sheâs flirting with you so you continue.
âYeah, what can I say I like strong women who donât take shit from men.â you say, moving closer to her. You havenât flirted very much before but judging based on how her eyes darken slightly you think itâs working.
She reaches out and runs her hand down the side of your face slowly, making you shiver. âLooks like we have the same type.â
She keeps her hand there for a second then leans in slowly, giving you time to pull away. Youâre frustrated by how long itâs taking and try to take a small step towards her so you can kiss her. It doesnât work well since you forgot youâre wearing heels and lose your balance, making her laugh, her breaths dancing over your lips. And then suddenly sheâs not moving slowly anymore and her lips are on yours and itâs all you can think about. Your other senses are all dulled and you kiss her harder to prove that this is real.
After a few seconds she pulls back. âI didnât want people to see,â she explains when she sees your pout, âhallway?â
Youâre not sure if itâs even possible for you to do anything but nod and take her hand as she leads you out. Inside of taking you to the main hall she takes you to a side one that doesnât get used often and only the avengers have access to. Glancing around again to make sure nobody notices she pulls you inside and immediately youâre kissing again.
She presses you against the wall and you grip her shoulders tightly, your nails dipping into her bare skin. When she pulls back again she notes in satisfaction that your lips are smeared with her lipstick and she applauds her choice of bright red. Inside of going back to your mouth she kisses along your jaw and your neck, the lipstick marking you. Happy with her work she moves back to your lips, humming happily at the feeling.
She likes it even more when she feels your mouth open to let her in, taking the opportunity to explore your mouth with her tongue. You let out a small whine and the noise reminds her of where you are.
âCome up to my room?â she asks, smirking. Youâre about to say yes when you notice her smirk. It bugs you for some reason, it makes it seem like sheâs winning some sort of prize. Breathing heavily you look more closely at her and notice her heels. Itâs her seductive mission heels. And then you realize she often wears a black dress to seduce people as well. You feel like a complete idiot, she doesnât want you for anything more than a quick fling. This was a calculated move on her part.
âNo.â you tell her firmly, only able to hold back your tears due to sheer anger. You thought that you were friends, how dare she try to play with your feelings just because she knew she could. Taking advantage of her shock you push past her, running out of the hall and back into the party. You look like a disaster so as quickly as possibly to rush to the doors and leave, running to your room, thankful that everyone seems too invested in their own conversations to notice you going.
You keep running until you reach your room. It didnât look like she was following you but you donât want to take any chances. Flinging off your heels because theyâre uncomfortable you launch yourself onto your bed and curl up, pulling the covers over your head and putting your face into a pillow. Youâre probably getting her lipstick all over right now but you donât care, you donât have enough energy to care right now.
You berate yourself again for how stupid you are. You got so caught up in your own emotions that you didnât even consider that it didnât mean the same to her as it did to you. Itâs so obvious in hindsight. How after one kiss she wanted to sneak away so nobody saw, her glance back at the room before you entered the hall. She wasnât looking for a relationship that much was clear. She invited you to her bedroom, not on a date.
You try to reason with yourself to make the pain go away but it doesnât. You werenât super close but you considered her a friend. Apparently she didnât consider you one if she was willing to put your friendship aside for sex. You briefly consider that maybe she didnât know about your feelings but you shake that thought off. Sheâs smart and reads people easily, she knew she just didnât care.
You hate the tears that roll down your face. You canât tell if theyâre from sadness or anger and it doesnât matter. Nothing seems to matter right now. Sobs wrack your body harder and you scream silently into your pillow. You hate this so much, you hate crying and you wish you could hate Natasha but you canât. You hate yourself for letting yourself get hurt like this though.
---
Natasha watches you leave. She wants to run after you but the look on your face when you pushed by her stops her. You looked so disgusted that you had just made out with her and she can feel her heart breaking into a million pieces just thinking about it. She doesn't know what she did to get it. Itâs obvious that you regretted kissing her but it hurts that you seem disgusted by it.
She allows herself a few moments to stand there and try to comprehend what just went on, a single tear dripping down her face. Swallowing hard she wipes it away and takes a breath to collect herself. She makes sure her dress is straight and runs her fingers through her hair so it doesnât look too wild.
It doesnât really matter what she looks like, sheâs planning to slip out the back of the hall, the opposite way that you went, so itâs unlikely anyone will see her but she wants to be prepared on the off chance that the halls arenât empty. Biting her lip to stay calm she walks out the end of the hall and slowly makes her way to her room.
She feels so stupid. Sheâs not even mad at you for feeling disgusted sheâs mad at herself. She got so caught up in her own feeling that she never stopped to think about the fact that you donât like her back. For a moment it seemed like you did but that was probably you being too nice to say no to her.
Her heels seem to mock her as she walks up the stairs with the way they clip clop. So much for lucky heels, sheâll never be able to use them again without remembering how badly she failed. She tugs on her dress from both the top and the bottom, trying to pull it longer in both directions. She felt so confident in it earlier in the mirror and especially when she caught you staring but now she just feels dirty and slutty.
âYouâre a fucking idiot.â she mutters out loud to herself when she finally gets to her room. Looking in her mirror upon entry only makes things worse. Sheâs lucky that she didnât see anyone in the halls because even after her attempts at cleaning up she looks like a mess. Her makeup is smudged all over and she can see the upset written plainly on her face.
Usually itâs easy to hide her emotions but usually she doesnât feel such strong ones. You make her feel and she hates it. Only earlier today she loved that you made her feel. She loved the way her heart fluttered thinking about you and how she wasnât always perfectly composed. You made her feel normal. But now she hates the way her heart betrays her, happy at even the thought of you.
Her only option right now is to forget and she thanks herself for always keeping a bottle of vodka in her room. A bad habit perhaps, but she rarely drinks from it and it is perfect for this situation. Drinking doesnât help much, even after a while the hurt is still fresh in her mind, but it stops her from overthinking. When she eventually leaves the bottle and slips into bed itâs nobodyâs business but hers if she cries herself to sleep.
---
You bury yourself deeper into your covers when you hear knocks at your door, hoping that whoever it is will go away soon.
âY/n open up!â you hear Carol shout, still pounding on the door. âUnless Natashaâs with you, donât think I didnât notice you left the party earlier.â
Carolâs mention of Natasha makes a lump form in your throat and suddenly you feel the sudden urge to take a shower and wash all of her off you. You must have stayed silent for too long because Carolâs knocking stops and she speaks again.
âIf you donât say anything in five seconds Iâm coming in.â she tells you.
You donât know if you want her here or not. Carol is always good at making you cheer up but you feel embarrassed to tell anybody what happened.
âFour.â
Carol would understand though, sheâs never been one to judge people for things and she was the one who helped push you towards Natasha, telling you she liked you back.
âThree.â
You realize that Natashaâs lipstick is still all over you and youâre still wearing the dress from last night. Itâs too late to fix the clothes but you try to wipe the lipstick from your neck as quickly as possible (spoiler, it doesnât go very well).
âTwo.â
Youâre still not sure if you want her to come in so you open your mouth to try to tell her to go away but the lump in your throat prevents you from speaking.
âOne, Iâm coming in now.â she says, opening the door. âIs that Natashaâs lipstick?â
Itâs too much and you get overwhelmed, bursting into tears. Her grin of triumph from when she saw the lipstick quickly disappears and she rushes over to comfort you, wrapping you in a big hug.
âDo I have to kill her?â she asks, when youâve calmed down a little bit. If you didnât know Carol enough to know sheâs actually a huge softy you would think she is dead serious.
âNo,â you tell her, managing a weak smile at how quickly Carol comes to your defense.
âAre you sure?â she asks. âYou have her lipstick all over you and youâre crying because of her. What did she do wrong?â
âItâs not her fault,â you protest. Natasha and Carol are friends and you donât want them to stop being close because of you.
âItâs not her fault youâre crying?â Carol asks skeptically.
âI-um, she,â you stumble over your words because technically it is her fault youâre crying. âShe didnât mean to.â you finally settle on saying.
Carol doesnât look any happier with the situation than she did before. âPlease tell me what happened Y/n so I can go beat her up for you. Did she try to force herself on you or do anything you didnât want?â
âNo.â you say, shaking your head. Natasha may have only been looking for a one night stand or short fling but you can confidently say that she would never do that.
âOkay, then what did she do to make you so upset? It doesnât look like she rejected you.â Carol is both stubborn and curious and you sigh knowing youâre not going to be able to get out of this conversation without telling her what happened.
âAt first it was really nice, we were talking and then we were kissing. But then-â you pause and take a deep breath as Carol rubs a hand comfortingly on your back. âBut then she asked if I wanted to go up to her room.â you pause again, trying not to cry for the second time this morning.
âWhat did you say?â Carol asks softly, knowing this is hard for you.
âI almost said yes, I was planning to say yes,â you tell her, âbut then I looked down at her heels.â
âHer heels?â
âShe was wearing the heels she always wears for missions where she has to seduce shady old men.â you explain. âAnd her dress seemed different than normal, like one sheâd wear on a mission and she was smirking at me, like she got exactly what she wanted.â
âShe treated you like a mission.â Carol states, a hard look in her eye. âThat bitch.â
âCarol,â you warn, âyouâre her friend too.â
âAnd as her friend Iâm going to give her some friendly advice.â She emphasizes the word friendly giving the impression that it wasnât going to be friendly at all.
âIt will only make things worse.â you tell her. âI just want to forget about it.â
Carol keeps the hard look but softens a little, smiling at you. âOkay, whatever you want. We could spend the day watching movies and eating ice cream?â
âOkay.â you tell her. Youâve never been heartbroken before but youâve seen movies and apparently this is what everyone does.
âIâll go get the ice cream while you pick a movie.â she tells you, standing up. âIâll even watch a disney one if youâd like.â
You give a halfhearted cheer, trying to convince Carol that youâre excited. She frowns as she leaves the room, that cheer was obviously fake. Any other time and you would be beyond happy that she was agreeing to watch Disney movies with you, youâve been begging her to for almost a year. She canât help but feel anger at Natasha and anger at herself. Anger at Natasha for playing with your feelings but anger at herself for pushing you to be with Natasha. She should have realized Natasha wouldnât treat you right but she was so caught up in trying to pair you together that she didnât see it.
---
Natasha wakes up as normal, feeling a headache forming already. Glancing towards her alarm clock she sits up in shock when she reads how late it is. Sheâs never in bed after noon. She groans when she realizes sitting up that quickly was not a good idea and makes her feel nauseous. She takes a few breaths, in and out, to calm herself and tries to remember why she drank so much. She was upset, she remembers that. She was upset because her plan didnât work.
She feels a sharp pain in her heart when her mental blocks seem to go away and she remembers everything that happened, how the night had been going so perfectly and she had felt so happy only for it to all come crashing down when you ran away, disgusted that you kissed her.
âStupid.â she tells herself, getting out of bed. She reminds herself of that as she goes about her normal morning routine, washing her face, brushing her teeth and getting dressed. She was so stupid to risk your friendship for something more, now it would be a miracle if you still wanted to be around her. Even if it hurt to pretend you hadnât kissed she would go back to being friends with you in an instant if you still wanted her. She tries not to think about how big of an if that is.
When she is presentable she decides to head down the kitchen and grab some food. Itâs been awhile since she last ate and thereâs no use in trying to hide away and avoid her problems; she will either see you and have to confront them or you wonât be there. She knows that hiding away will only make things worse and appear weak, if she leaves her room and pretends everything is normal it will make her seem less hurt than she is.
âHi Natasha.â Tony says in a weird voice when she enters the kitchen, waggling his eyebrows. She does her best not to show her obvious disappointment that almost everybody is here. The one upside is that youâre not.
âHi Tony.â she says tiredly, walking over to grab a piece of bread and plopping it in the toaster.
âSo Natasha,â he starts, oblivious to her unrelaxed mood, âhow was last night?â
Natasha whips around lightning fast, staring at him. âWhat do you mean?â
He couldnât possibly have heard, could he? She had hoped to talk to you before word got out about the rejection, to try to keep it on the down-low because the guys would never let her live it down. She assumed you wouldnât tell anyone but you did leave the hall in the direction of the party so maybe you decided to stay.
âI mean with Y/n.â he says casually as Natasha fights to keep a straight face as her heart beats wildly in her chest. âDonât think we didnât notice how you both left early.â
Natasha lets out an almost unnoticeable sigh of relief. He didnât know anything important.
âWell that may be the case but I can assure you nothing happened.â she tells him.
âThen where is she now?â Tony challenges.
âI donât know, if you havenât seen her sheâs probably in her room.â Natasha responds smoothly. Itâs just her luck that after being rejected by the girl of her dreams Tony thinks they got together.
âAnd where were you?â
Natasha gives him a deadpan stare. âMy own room.â
He scoffs. âFirst of all you could be lying to us, I know you spies are good at that. But if you arenât you need to get some balls and ask her out already.â
Natasha scowls. âA manâs balls are the weakest part of his body, I am good without them.â
Tony has enough self preservation to step back for a second. Natasha lets him think that her annoyance is solely over his sexist statement but really it wasnât that bad and sheâs just upset that she canât have you so she really doesnât want to be talking about asking you out.
âYou should.â Clint speaks up.
Natasha rolls her eyes. âNot you too.â
âSee Clint agrees with me and I bet the others do too.â Tony says smugly. Natasha lets her eyes move slowly around the room and one but one they all look away when she catches their eye, showing her that while they are too nervous to outright say it, Tony is right and they do agree.
âI donât care about that,â she says, âI am not and thatâs the end of the story.â
âWhat not?â Tony persists. âYou like her, you canât deny that, so give me one good reason not to.â
âBecause she wouldnât want to and I respect that.â Natasha says calmly. Inside she feels her stomach twisting and she wants to break something. She may be good at hiding her emotions but this conversation is proving to be next to impossible.
Tony scoffs again. âThereâs no way, that girl is so in love with you itâs ridiculous.â
âWhatâs ridiculous is that you assume things about other people and canât let this go.â Natasha tells him icily. âYou donât know what sheâd say.â
âThen you donât know either.â Tony counters.
âThen why did she say no when I asked her out last night?â Natasha snaps at him. There are gasps all around the room and to her mortification she is barely holding in the tears that spring to her eyes.
âWhat?â Sam asks in disbelief.
âI asked her out, she said no and thatâs that.â Natasha explains, trying to keep her composure but failing when a tear falls down her cheek. âExcuse me.â
She hurries out of the room, no longer able to handle the talk of asking you out and the disbelieving stares. As she gets back to her room and lies in bed once more she notes in annoyance that she never got her toast. Not that sheâs hungry anymore anyway. She doesnât feel anything anymore except sadness and emptiness. She knew her feelings for you were strong but now that she knows for sure that you donât want her they feel even stronger and it makes her realize just how much this meant to her and how much she lost.

âHey.â Carol greets as she walks in the kitchen and heads straight for the freezer.
âMorning Carol.â Bruce says, looking shocked when he sees the amount of ice cream sheâs holding. âIce cream for breakfast?â
âItâs for Y/n.â Carol explains.
Tonyâs expression turns dark. âWhat on earth does she need it for?â
âGirl problems, also known as none of your business.â Carols says, in an admittedly sassy voice.
Tony glares. âBy girl problems do you mean what happened with Romanoff last night.â
He may tease Natasha but she was like family to him and he would not allow your feelings to be coddled while you stomped all over hers. He doesnât care if you feel bad for rejecting her, you had flirted and let her on for too long and feeling bad was the least you deserve.
In an instant Carol is across the kitchen and inches from his face. âHow do you know?â
âHey, calm down.â Bruce says, stepping in when he notices Clint and Sam have both tensed up, presumably to defend Natashaâs honor. Even though heâs a man himself he doesnât understand them sometimes, Natasha was more than capable of taking care of herself and starting a fight between Tony and Carol, the two most stubborn on the team, would only be a headache for weeks to come.
âHow do you know?â Carol asks Bruce, thankfully stepping back from Tony.
âShe was here a few minutes ago and told us.â
Carol curses under her breath. âThat bitch.â
âHey!â Clint says loudly. âIf anyone is a bitch here itâs Y/n.â
âYes because itâs all Y/nâs fault.â Carol says sarcastically.
Sam decides heâs had enough of Carol. âYes actually, it is.â
âBullshit.â
The three of them go back and forth with Carol, mainly cursing and getting a little off topic.
Itâs when Carol calls Tony an idiot that Bruce speaks up. âYou werenât here to see Natasha cry.â
âWhat?â Carol turned to face Bruce, shocked. He isnât one for petty arguments so she believes what comes out of his mouth. But why would Natasha cry? It doesnât make sense, she was the one who broke your heart, not the other way around. âNatasha never cries.â
âWell she just did.â Tony says but itâs not in a confrontational tone anymore. Heâs not sure what Carol knows but itâs obvious she didnât know fully what happened.
âWhy?â
âIt was partly my fault,â Tony admits, âI was teasing her about asking out Y/n and she kept saying no and eventually snapped and told us that she did last night but Y/n rejected her.â
Carol scrunches her brow in confusion. âThatâs not what Y/n told me- OHHH.â
âWhat?â The voice comes simultaneously from all four men at once.
âThey are both idiots.â Carol says, smiling and laughing for the first time since entering the kitchen. âThey are both huge idiots that donât know shit about feelings.â
âWhat?â Tony asks again, wanting to know what Carolâs thinking.
âOkay Iâll tell you but donât interrupt.â Carol warns and looks at all of them to make sure they nod in agreement. Once she is satisfied she starts. âSo this morning I found Y/n in tears and covered in Natashaâs lipstick. Apparently they had fun at the party last night and then snuck away to makeout. Y/n was upset because Natasha asked her up to her room instead of on a date and she noticed that Natasha was wearing her mission heels, do you know them?â
âThe ones that she uses to seduce old men for Shield?â Sam asks just to make sure.
âYep.â Carol confirms. âSo anyways Y/n is upset because she thinks that she was just some sort of challenge to Natasha so she left her thereâŚâ
â...but Natasha was actually serious about her.â Clint finishes.
Tony laughs. âThey really are idiots.â
âI am definitely telling this story at their wedding and to their future kids.â Sam says, also laughing.
âWell first they need to actually talk to each other about this.â Bruce points out, lowering the happy mood of the room. âRight now theyâre both in their rooms miserable and feelings like the other doesnât want them.â
âWe should get Natasha to talk to Y/n,â Carol suggests, âbecause I know that Y/n wonât believe us unless Natasha is the one to tell her.â
âOkay I volunteer to talk to Natasha.â Tony suggests.
âNo.â Carol tells him.
âWell youâre Y/nâs best friend so she wonât want to talk to you either right now.â he counters.
âYes but youâre also a horrible option, I think Bruce would be best for this.â
Bruce looks around the room. âMe?â
âThat does make sense,â Clint agrees with Carol, âout of all of us youâre the best at calming people down and sheâd be most likely to believe you quicker.â
âBut-â
âNo buts Brucie, donât you want to see them together?â Tony pleads.
âYeah come on Brucie,â Sam mocks Tony, âdo it for love.â
Bruce sighs as he watches Tony pout and Sam flutter his eyelashes ridiculously. âFine.â
âGet straight to the point,â Clint advises, âbecause she will kick you out if you donât.â
âOkay.â
Bruce leaves the kitchen to head to Natashaâs room. It took ages for him to be convinced to join the avengers and every day he canât tell if he regrets his choice or loves his choice. Certainly no other job in the world would force him to go talk to his scary assassin coworker so she and his other coworker can get together. He really isnât paid enough for this.
A knock startles Natasha. She didnât think anyone would come after her because she assumed they would all be too scared when sheâs in a bad mood.
âWho is it?â she calls out.
âBruce.â
âBruce,â she sighs, âIâm sorry but I need to be alone right now, I hope you of all people can understand that.â
âNo.â he responds, surprising both her and himself with how determined his voice sounds.
âBruce-â she starts but he interrupts.
âHear me out first Natasha,â he begs, âplease.â
She thinks about it for a moment before giving up and sighing, sheâs not in the mood to spend time arguing. âFine, but you have to stay outside the door.â
âIf thatâs what you want.â he agrees, pausing a second to figure out how he wants to word things. âI just came back from an interesting conversation with Carol in the kitchen.â he settles on saying.
âOh?â She tries not to think about what that means. Carol is your best friend and after her scene in the kitchen this morning she doesnât think there would be any other reason he would bring her up.
âShe was getting ice cream for Y/n because apparently sheâs upset.â he offers as a means of explanation.
âOh.â she says again and itâs so quiet she doesnât think he heard her. âYou can tell Carol that Iâll apologize to Y/n tomorrow, I need to gain control of myself first.â
She never thought about how it would be from your end of things. She forced you into more than you wanted and tried to ask you out and she selfishly focused on her own feelings when you probably were upset that she kissed you. Or you thought you would lose her as a friend. She doesn't think she is capable of talking to you without breaking down right now but in a few days sheâll be fine and able to pretend nothing changed.
âThatâs not what she was upset about,â Bruce tells her, âCarol says she was upset because she thought it didnât mean anything to you.â
âWhat, why?â Natasha canât help but let her interest be taken. She doesnât want to get her hopes up, what Bruce said could mean a lot of different things.
âI feel like Iâm in middle school and thereâs broken telephone being played between two crushes.â Bruce jokes.
âBruce, tell me why.â Natasha demands. Her voice is soft but they both know if Bruce stalls any longer sheâll drop the sweet act.
âWell Carol said she said that it seemed like you were acting as if she was your mission to seduce and not like you actually wanted to be with her.â Bruce says, relaying the information.
âCrap.â
Bruce waits for Natasha to elaborate but she doesnât say anything. âAre you okay in there?â
âYes, thank you Bruce,â she says, âI need to go fix this, you can leave now.â
He canât help but feel relieved as he speeds away down the hall. He is never going to do anything like that again, it was way too awkward. He still doesnât understand how the others forced him to do this, damn his heart for being persuaded it was a good cause. The one upside is that talking to Natasha did seem to work and with any luck sheâd be able to fix her mistakes with you. If she didnât he did all this for nothing and may very well hulk out.
---
Natasha paces back and forth in her room. If Bruce was right (and she has no reason to believe he would lie) you didnât run away because you didnât like her, you ran away because you thought she didnât like you. She winces when she thinks about it. Looking back she can see why you were mistaken and thought she didnât have true feelings for you because she did treat you like a mark. She analyzed what hairstyle and dress you would like and wore her good luck heels. Even the way she talked and acted was calculated to be exactly what youâd like.
Sheâs stupid, so stupid and if she had just asked you out in a normal way instead of trying to seduce you she could be on a brunch date with you right now. It had never occurred to her to try it any other way, she was taught that seducing was the easiest way to get people to like you so why should it be different for a normal date? In hindsight using red room techniques to get a date is a horrible idea and she canât believe she didnât see it before. Maybe she hasnât shaken off the red room ideals as much as she thought she had.
The thought scares her, her entire life upon leaving the red room has been dedicated to being a force for good, the opposite of everything the red room stood for so to realize that they still have their claws in deeper than she thought is terrifying. She takes a deep breath and tries to make it go away, which is mostly successful as the thought is reduced to the back of her mind. She can take her thoughts and analyze them later, which is another thing the red room taught her to do she notes, but right now she has to focus on the thing thatâs most important, fixing her mistake.
As she walks through the halls to your room she runs through things she should say in her head but nothing sounds right. Perhaps itâs for the best though, that way you can tell sheâs genuine and not performing another script. She pauses as she reaches your door, finding herself almost shaking with nerves. What if you donât want her anymore or Bruce misunderstood or worst of all you still think she doesnât care?
She almost turns around and goes back, unfamiliar with this type of fear but she knows that if she does all chances of fixing things and having a relationship with you will be reduced to zero. Taking a deep breath she turns the knob and pushes the door open.
You donât look right away when you hear the door open, too lazy to care. âWhat took you so long, you were supposed to be back with the ice cream ages ago.â
âI-â
You spin around quickly. âYouâre not Carol.â
âNor do I have ice cream.â She tries to joke but it falls flat.
âWhy are you here?â you ask and she winces. Itâs blunt and straight to the point, your tone quiet but practically screaming at her to get out.
Since you got straight to the point she decides to do the same. âTo ask you out.â
You must look even more shocked than you feel because she quickly jumps in to explain. âThatâs what I was trying to do at the party last night, although I know you assumed that I didnât mean it. I know you noticed the heels and I know I was smirking and it seemed like I was playing you but it really was genuine, I was just trying to do it the wrong way. I was always taught in the red room that to get people to like you romantically the best way to do that is to seduce them but obviously that is wrong and I didnât realize until too late.â
Thereâs a lot of information to take in but your mind gets stuck on one question. âHow do you know all that about how I felt?â
âCarol talked to Bruce who talked to me.â she says, looking slightly embarrassed at how elementary that sounds. âSo?â
âSo what?â You know she wants to know if youâll go out with her for real and you really want to immediately say yes but you also want to hear her ask you properly.
She seems to understand. âWill you go on a date with me Y/n?â
You hesitate one moment before responding. Itâs unnecessarily mean but you just spent a good portion of last night and this morning crying over her and besides, she looks absolutely adorable as she shifts her weight from side to side nervously. She looks exactly how you want her to look, no makeup and wearing sweatpants. Itâs natural and genuine and everything you would have loved to see last night.
âYes.â
âOh thank god.â she laughs in relief, the pitch of it breathier than normal.
âI like it when you do that.â you tell her.
She furrows her brow, confused. âDo what?â
âWhen you laugh like that or wear old clothes, like youâre not trying to impress me.â you explain.
âSo when I do the opposite of what I did last night?â she asks, laughing at herself for being so stupid. Of course you didnât fall for all the acts, if you did she wouldnât like you as much as she does. You make her feel different and thatâs a good thing, she shouldnât have to act around you.
âYeah, donât get me wrong last night was hot,â you tell her, âbut itâs not you. Thatâs agent Romanoff putting on whatever mask she needs to be for the night, this here is my Tasha.â
âYour Tasha, huh,â she teases, âpossessive much?â
âSorry.â
âNo,â she tells you, âI like it. I donât need to put a mask on around you because youâre you and I am your Tasha. But youâre also mine.â
âAll yours.â you confirm and she visibly shivers. âApparently Iâm not the only possessive one.â
âApparently.â she says looking at you in a way that makes heat rise to your cheeks.
âSince we wasted time last night maybe we could start with a movie date right now?â you suggest shyly, changing the topic.
âWell we do have time to make up for.â she agrees, sitting down on the bed beside you. âWhat movie?â
âMulan.â you tell her pressing the remote to drop the tv down into your room. There were definitely benefits to living with Tony.
âA disney movie?â she asks skeptically.
âHave you seen it?â you ask already knowing the answer before she shakes her head. âThen donât knock it, itâs a great movie.â
âIf you say so.â she says, still slightly skeptical but much more open to it. Even if the movie is garbage she doesnât think sheâd mind watching it with you. She definitely doesnât mind it when your head drops onto your shoulder and you fall asleep, tired from the emotional rollercoaster you just went on. And when the movie ends she doesnât move, happy to have you there, even when hours later her shoulder is all tense and cramped. It scares her how much she feels for you already but it also feels freeing, she knows she is not just the product of the red room because their biggest rule is to not fall in love and sheâs definitely going to break that soon, if she hasnât already.

Time for the annual year post lads
I am so glad 2022 is over. Going no contact with my mum is one of the most painful things Iâve ever gone through. I frantically had to find somewhere new to live after my landlord decided he wanted me out (presumably because I refused to pay more rent during my fixed term) and the communication from his office was confusing and appalling. I spent a lot of last year with a tense body and just about surviving. I really, really hope that 2023 is kind to me.Â
But, as always, this is about pulling out the good things that happened.
1. I adopted a cat! I picked her up two days after my birthday and she is asleep in my lap as Iâm writing this. She is so affectionate. She comes to meet me at the door whenever I return. Her walking towards me with a crooked tail and slow blinking is maybe my favourite thing in the world.
2. I feel a lot more confident in my abilities at work and I feel more comfortable giving my opinions. I was elected co-chair of the LGBT staff network and I like being in a leadership role. Iâm good at it, because Iâm organised and Iâm responsive when people need me.Â
3. I went on a bikepacking weekend for people of colour. It was my first time cycling off road and I definitely underestimated how challenging it would be, but it was also so much fun. We got to ride on top of a cliff with the sea below.
4. I cycled from London to Brighton and raised nearly ÂŁ500 for the National Association of People Abused in Childhood. The scenery was beautiful and I actually really enjoyed the ride.
5. I went to Butch Please a bunch and helped host meet ups for people who needed a group to go with. I met and had some great conversations with queer people a couple of decades older than me.
6. I took on more responsibility in the mutual aid group I volunteer with and had relationships transition from acquaintance level to friend level.Â
7. I made new friends through my cycling club including with someone who actively pursued being my friend! One of my fave evenings was a different friendâs birthday at the velodrome they work at. We did silly games around the track, hung out on the steps as the sun was setting and cycled under the moon. I spent a lot of time at the velodrome either getting my ass kicked at track or helping out with races and it was always fun. Itâs nice to have a place that feels like a second home in a way.Â
8. I was more vulnerable including disclosing some things about my childhood with a person I was dating. While that relationship didnât work out, Iâm proud of myself for trusting someone and turning away from shame.
9. I completed a counselling skills course which affirmed that I do want to be a therapist and Iâve been able to use some of the skills in conversations with friends.Â
10. I saw Self Esteem and MUNA live and had a lovely and meaningful time at their gigs.Â

You could still vividly remember the first time you met Sirius Black.
Boarding the train to Hogwarts the first time, you managed to find a compartment with your brother, Remus, before it was descended upon by two rowdy boys with large grins.
James Potter and Sirius Black had, with no hesitation, introduced themselves to you and you quickly became friends, especially when you pulled your money together and bought a various selection of chocolates from the trolley. When the sorting hat placed all of you in Gryffindor, it only reaffirmed your friendship.
It wasn't just the four of you in your little group though, the boys were placed in a dormitory with another boy, Peter, and you shared a dorm with two other girls who also became fierce friends of yours; Lily Evans and Marlene McKinnon.
Of course, growing up together through Hogwarts had it's arguments and fall outs, though somehow you always seemed to remain friends.
It wasn't until your seventh, and final year of Hogwarts did the surprising pair of Lily and James get together which solidified your friendship group even further. Between Sirius and you, the bet you had made in your fourth year regarding when the pair would get together, finally came to an end where you had happily took your winnings with a smile and paid for a bottle of Firewhiskey to celebrate.
After graduating, you ended up moving in with Marlene, finding a perfect two bedroom flat for you to share, close to Diagon Alley. The boys had taken a page from your book with Sirius using some of his inheritance from his great uncle and buying a flat directly across the Leaky Cauldron.
Whilst he had invited Peter to also live with him and Remus, the boy politely refused with the intention to stay with his parents for a while.
James however, had asked Lily to move in with him almost the second they graduated and the pair had moved to a little cottage in Godricâs Hollow. It wasnât long afterwards that James had proposed to Lily which led to the current series of events.
About an hour before, you and Marlene had walked down the aisle in the gardens of Potter Manor in your bridesmaids dresses, while Lily had donned a white dress and followed you. Standing opposite your brother and Sirius, the latter caught your eye when your friends said their wedding vows.
With a wink, Sirius had your attention and you weren't exactly sure what it was that felt different, but something definitely did.
As the reception started, you watched Lily and James take some of their wedding photos together. The smile on your face was something you couldn't help as Remus appeared at your side, a similar expression on his own face.
"Remember when Lily hexed James so hard he vomited out of his nose because he proposed to her?"
"I'm pretty sure it made him like her even more to be honest, James is weird like that." You snickered, accepting the drink from your brother. "Who would've thought we'd be here not even four years later?"
"Tell me about it. If you plan on getting married anytime soon though, please give me some warning." Remus joked, nudging his shoulder against yours.
"I think I need to actually date someone before I marry them, but thanks for being so optimistic about my dating life." You grinned at him before seeing Sirius making his way over to the two of you.
"Well well, if it isn't the Lupin twins." Sirius laid an arm over both your shoulders. "How long do you reckon it'll be before Lily's creepy uncle makes a move on Marlene?"
"At least after two more drinks." Remus chuckled. "Which reminds me, I promised I'd save her from any men tonight who wanted to dance with her that, and I quote, looked like they had to use a stamina charm in bed."
"Good luck with that." You snickered, waving your brother off as he disappeared in the direction of the blonde.
Sirius didn't say anything else as he took a seat at one of the tables and pulled you down into his lap. It wasn't uncommon for the two of you to hug or cuddle, having done so numerous times in the Gryffindor common room, much to Remus' annoyance. This only really resulted in Sirius being more affectionate.
Being twins, the two of you were naturally closer than normal siblings which resulted in Remus being protective over you since the only blood family you both had left was each other. Your parents, especially your father, had grown fearsome and disgusted at what Remus was, despite it not being his fault when Greyback bit him all those years ago. Your father began to resent you after you constantly took Remus' side and played his constant advocate.
"Hey, what're you thinking about?" Sirius nudged you, grabbing your attention. His expression was unreadable as he watched you watch Lily and James interact with each other.
"I don't know, it's nothing." Sirius nudged you again, looking for a proper answer. "I look at them and I just wonder if I'll ever have that, you know? Someone who looks at you like you're their whole world."
Sirius didn't say anything at first, but pulled you closer. He wouldn't admit it but he often had the same thought cross his mind.
"You'll find them."
"Are they fucking hiding from me?!"
"If they've already met you, then probably."
Smacking his chest, you couldn't help the contagious laughter that bubbled from you, echoing that from the wizard.
"Being serious though," Sirius grinned at the pun he just made, "who wouldn't want you?"
You smiled at him warmly, not knowing what to say. It wasn't often that Sirius was, well serious. The boy loved a joke, but he also loved his friends and knew exactly what to say to them to cheer them up, especially you.
"Thanks, Siri."
"Hey, James and Lily are about to head off for their honeymoon." Remus said, knocking on Sirius' bedroom door at Potter Manor, stepping inside to see Sirius rush back out from the ensuite bathroom only in his shirt and boxers. "What happened to you? You disappeared from the reception."
"Uh, dropped cake down myself, had to come and change." Sirius told him quickly.
"You do realise you're a wizard right? You could've just vanished the mess?"
"Ah yeah, of course, how stupid, sure could've. Anyway, I just need to put on some clean trousers and I'll be right down."
Remus frowned. Something was off but he couldn't work out what it was. Putting it down to Sirius drinking too much, he waved the man off, exiting the room.
"Alright well, hurry down, James was asking for you."
Remus exited the room and Sirius quickly closed the door behind him. Turning back to the bathroom, he watched as you opened the door with a tentative expression, trying to zip your dress back up but failing.
"Do you think he knew I was here?"
"Don't think so, here, turn around, I'll do it." Sirius turned you around, quickly zipping up your dress before resting his hands on your waist. "So, we haven't done that before."
"That is correct."
It was slightly awkward between the two of you, why was it awkward? Oh, maybe because you were both fucking like rabbits not even moments before your brother knocked on the door. It had never been awkward between you before though and you didn't like it.
"Why is it so awkward?" Sirius chuckled as you spun around before him.
"Right! It's like I don't know what to say!"
"We're just two friends who've had sex one time, there doesn't have to be anything awkward about that!"
"Exactly, it doesn't have to be a big deal, it was a one time thing, we can just go back to the party and no one will know!"
"Yes, good plan, lets go!" Turning towards the door, Sirius started towards it with a new determination, completely forgetting one issue.
"Sirius?" He paused, looking back at you, "maybe you should put on some trousers before we go down though."
"Good idea."
Waving James and Lily off, you stood alongside the rest of your friends as Marlene appeared, pulling you towards her by your waist.
"Ugh, please tell me we're going to get some good booze and continue to get fucked up at ours?"
"Is that an open invite?" Remus asked with a grin, "Think I spied an extra bottle of Firewhiskey knocking about near the top table."
"100%," Marlene grinned at him, "after all, it's the least I could do after you saved me from so many creeps tonight. I will thank you in the form of hosting a small afterparty with the inner circle. Right, Y/N?"
"I'm up for it, I'll go see if I can grab that extra bottle you mentioned."
Taking off towards the top table, your eyes scanned the tables one by one until you felt a presence behind you. Already knowing who it was, you didn't bother looking back at them.
"I've got a fresh bottle stashed under my bed upstairs if we wanna grab that one?" Sirius said lowly in your ear.
"That sounds like a plan," you said slowly, "though I thought we said it was only a one time thing?"
"Weddings don't count, right? I swear that's a rule somewhere."
"...How long do you think we can be before the others get suspicious?"
"10 minutes?"
"Sounds good, lets go."
The pair of you said nothing more the entire night on the matter and ended up just having a good time with your friends. The boys ended up sleeping on your sofas, not trusting themselves to apparate safely considering the amount they each had to drink.
It wasn't until mid morning when everyone started to rouse, that you offered to make everyone a cup of tea to help with the hangovers that had started to form.
"Hey, make mine extra strong, will you?"
You laughed, turning to face Sirius.
"You need the caffeine that much?"
"That answer is a strong yes."
Pouring the boiling water into the mugs, you passed Sirius' over to him as he smiled at you in thanks.
"So, yesterday was something." You smiled, taking a sip of your own drink.
"Yeah... something stupid, right?"
"Yeah, totally stupid." There was a brief silence between you as you weren't exactly sure what to say next. "Look as much as I enjoyed it, I don't want us to become awkward or ruin our friendship or anything because of it."
"Good, because I was going to say the same thing." Sirius nodded, leaning against the kitchen counter top. "As good as the sex was, and trust me it was good, it's not worth making our friendship awkward or anything not knowing where we stand with the other."
"Right, yes, that makes a lot of sense." You both took another sip of tea as you listened to Marlene and Remus in the living room laugh about something. "Unless... wait no, it's nothing."
"No, what it is?" Sirius asked.
"Unless... I don't know, we keep fucking in secret and just don't tell the others?"
You stared at the tea in your cup before raising your eyes to meet Sirius' grey ones which were wide, a grin on his face.
"I guess that would work too?"
"Yeah... anyway on a totally unrelated note, Marlene's visiting her family tomorrow night at like 7."
"Noted."
"Where's my bloody tea, Y/N!" The blonde in question strode into the kitchen sluggishly. "I swear you've been in here for 4 hours making it."
"If you were a little more patient, Mar, I was just about to bring it out for you." You rolled your eyes but handed the mug over to her anyway.
"Thanks, how're you two feeling this morning?"
"Rough." Sirius grunted out as the three of you headed back into the living room. "But what's new there, really?!"
"You should really try cut back on your drinking, Pads." Remus mentioned, taking the cup of tea from you with a smile.
"You should cut back on your chocolate."
"Chocolate doesn't give you hangovers." Remus countered with a smirk causing Sirius to just roll his eyes as he sunk down into an armchair.
"Either way, I hope Lils and James are having fun." Marlene stretched out on the other sofa, placing her legs over your own. "I know James will be with the things Y/N and I packed as a surprise in Lily's bags."
You snorted into your cup as you remembered the countless lacy items you'd snuck into Lily's normally conservative wardrobe.
"Well, James might be happy about what you packed, but he certainly won't be happy with what we packed." Sirius snickered as Remus held back a laugh.
"What did you do?!"
"We might've exchanged his entire bag of clothes for an entire bag of Cornish Pixies." Sirius grinned. "I'm already expecting a howler from Lily at some point in the near future."
Sirius didnât have to wait long for Lilyâs reaction as only moments later he heard an angry shout through his two way mirror he shared with James.
As planned, Marlene visited her family the next day and no later after she flooed away, Sirius appeared at the front door of your flat. The same happened after Marlene was picked by Dumbledore for an order mission and Sirius happily flooed into your flat only moments later. You were convinced heâd bugged your flat somehow.
James and Lily returned from their honeymoon a week later, effectively surprising you as they flooed into your flat with no warning, causing you to stuff a naked Sirius into your closet. It was safe to say he wasnât impressed after Lily insisted she make a pot of tea to âcatch upâ, and ended up staying round for several hours.Â
You barely managed to hide the snicker which escaped your lips when James asked if you knew where Sirius was.
With the newly married pair being back, the two of you decided to come up with a plan as how to sneak around without the others knowing.
Somehow, it didnât really go to plan.
Sirius insisted that you should come over and take a bath with him one night, especially as Remus was due to be out. You couldnât help but agree to the idea, mostly because you got to spend time with your very sexy male friend who looked very good in bubbles... and also the fact his bathtub was a lot better than your own.
The bathtub in question was a massive claw-foot tub which could fit the two of you and your two roommates if you so desired. Compared against the shitty little tub Marlene and you had in your flat, it was a no brainer.
Which is why as you sat in between Siriusâ legs, your back against his chest, you couldnât help but feel more relaxed than you had done all week.Â
Sirius was leant back against the tub, his arm around your waist with a glass of Firewhiskey in his other hand. The two of you had nicked this particular bottle from Jamesâ âsecret stashâ which everyone knew he hid under his cloak, under the stairs. It was all too easy for the two of you to sneak in and borrow it for the time being.Â
âYou know, Prongs must be real blind if he canât see how many people actually know about his hiding spots.â You snickered as you took the glass from Sirius and took a sip.
âI think it might be all the brain damage after getting hit in the head so many times.â He grinned.
âHow long do you think itâll be until he notices the actual bottle being gone? A few days?â
âGive him some credit, itâll be at least a week.â
The two of you chuckled before you heard the fireplace roar with flames. Footsteps quickly made their way towards Siriusâ room before heading towards the bathroom.
A panicked look between the two of you was exchanged as a knock was heard on the door.Â
âPads? Itâs me, Iâm coming in.â
Sirius quickly took the glass of Firewhiskey back from you as you dived underwater, praying the bubbles would cover up the fact you were there.Â
The door opened and James stepped in about to say something, before he stopped and observed the scene before him. Sirius was sat covered in bubbles with candles lit around him. Despite the calm expression on his face, the fact you were lying between his legs in the water had his heart racing.Â
âDid you need something, Prongs?â
âUh, yeah, have you seen the bottle of Firewhiskey which I was given as a gift for my wedding?â James asked, very obviously looking at the opened bottle on the side of the bath.Â
âDidnât even know you got given one, mate. This was from Y/N.â
âAnd if I ask her, will she give me the same story?â
âPositively. Anything else?â
âYeah, you want to order some Chinese?âÂ
âI mean I- NO!âÂ
His outburst was a surprise to both James and himself after you had pinched him underwater signalling you were running out of air.
âReally? Lilyâs got me on this diet and-â
âJames! Get out!â
âFine! Okay! No need to shout at me, Iâve seen you in weirder scenarios.â
James left and shut the door behind him just as soon as you jolted up, gasping for breath.Â
âIâm sorry, he wouldnât leave! He wanted to ask me if I fancied some Chinese.â
âChinese?â You asked, turning to look at him over your shoulder with a contemplative look on your face. âI could go for some chow mein.â
âProngs!â Taking a deep breath, you disappeared underwater again just before James appeared once more. âIâll have a large chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, some of those prawn cracker things and the spring rolls.â
âSpring rolls? I swear only Y/N likes them.â
âThought Iâd try them out since as sheâs always yapping on about them.â
âAlright, back in a bit.â
James left and shut the door again. You emerged from the water, leaning back on Sirius again as he relayed off what heâd ordered.Â
âYou ordered me spring rolls?!â
âYeah, I remembered you liked them.â Sirius shrugged, wrapping his arm around your waist again. âEven if they taste like arse.â
The group had gathered at Marlene and Y/Nâs for an evening where despite Lilyâs constant health kicks, she relented into ordering pizza for the group.Â
âHey, you guys will never guess what I found out today.â Marlene grinned.
âYouâre secretly a guy?â Sirius snickered from the armchair, only to receive a cushion being thrown at his face by the blonde.Â
âNo,â Marlene scowled at him, âAlice and Frank got engaged!âÂ
âWhat?! Howâd you find out?â Lily asked as she cuddled up to James in the other armchair.Â
âI ran into Alice at Headquarters earlier and she showed me her ring.â Marlene leant back into the sofa as she brought her legs up to lay them over Remusâ lap. âWe best be getting ready for another wedding soon.â
âIâm sure weâll hear more at the meeting tomorrow.â James said grinning. âWho knew Longbottom had it in him?!â
âAlice certainly did.â You snickered, leaning onto Remusâ other shoulder. The comment got another round of chuckles from everyone present as Lily shot you a less than impressed look.Â
âAlright, I say letâs call it a night if we have to be at the meeting early tomorrow morning.â The redhead rolled her eyes at you all before standing up and brushing her dress down.Â
Everyone else seemed to follow her lead as Marlene and you stood to show everyone out.Â
âYeah, I need to sleep as much as I can with Moonyâs snoring keeping me up all night.â Sirius grinned, stepping up beside you and Remus.Â
What no one expected to happen was for Sirius to dip and find your lips in a kiss, his hand wrapping around the back of your neck to pull you closer, just as he had done for the last few weeks.Â
The rest of the group stood with slack jaws as they took in the scene before them as they watched Sirius kiss you. Pulling away, you caught each otherâs eyes as realisation set in and your own eyes went wide.Â
âMarls,â Sirius shook off his slight hesitation before heading straight over to Marlene and pulling her in for a kiss of her own. âLily.â
Stepping forward to give Lily a kiss goodbye, Sirius couldnât help but notice the wide eyed look from both James at kissing his wife and Remus at kissing his sister.Â
âPleasure to spend time with you all.â Sirius grinned at everyoneâs expressions before entering the fireplace to floo back to his own flat.Â
âWhat the hell was that?!â Remus asked with wide eyes, securely on you.Â
âProbably some leftover greeting from Lily and Jamesâ wedding. Lils did have some french cousins, perhaps he picked it up from them?â You chuckled, trying to play down the laugh you so wanted to let out.Â
âYeah, it did feel french.â Marlene snickered. âIâm not sure if I feel happy about saying that Iâve kissed Sirius Black though.â
âWell, he can keep his lips to himself and not on my wife.â James scowled at the fireplace where Sirius had disappeared moments before.Â

Episode 22
âHello, I am NCT Mark and I am 22 years old,â a smile adorns his lips as the boy next to you bow at the camera.
âHello, I am Markâs wife, Y/N, and I am 21 years old,â you greet, bowing politely at the camera.
âThis is the first time we have very young guests coming to our show,â one of them said.
âI think many fans are wondering why you had gotten married at such a young age?â one asked.
Another continued, âyeah, I donât think itâs common in Korea,â they said, âI heard that Mark used to live in Canada for some time, is it common to get married at such a young age, there?âÂ
Mark chuckles, shaking his head, âNo, no, we both decided to get married young because we have always talked about spending our 20s together.â
âHow long have the both of you been married?â
Mark looks at you before answering, âWe got married just a few months ago, actually.â
âTo be exact, it has been about 4 months now,â you continued.
âHow long did you guys date?â
âWe dated for about 3 years, before we both decided that we wanted to get married straight away,â your husband answers.
âWait, 3 years? But the news of you guys dating came out a year ago, though?â
âWe dated secretly~â Mark replied shyly.
âYou guys are the youngest couple to be on our show, has anyone been opposed to the idea of you guys getting married at such a young age?â
Your hand lands on your husbands shoulders, âto start, of course we received a lot of hate comments online when the news came out, but we knew this was what we wanted, so we never really doubted for a second.â
Mark agrees with your words, âyeah, our parents were also a little skeptical by our plans but we were adults and had explained clearly why we wanted to get married at such a young age.â
You hum along with Markâs words.Â
âTell us honestly, was it hard dating someone when you are one of the biggest boy group in Korea?â one of them asked Mark.
Mark though for a moment, he wasnât sure if he should spill out the truth or just butter everything up. âWell, of course it was. I knew what I was getting into and so did Y/N,â he says, âand as expected we knew that if we get caught, there would be tons of comments about us.â
âHow did you overcome the mean comments?â
âOf course, we had both shared tears because of those comments, but we promised to never leave each other because of what others think.â
The scene started with the both of you eating breakfast at the dinner table.Â
The casts of We Got Married started laughing at the sight of Markâs bed head.
âYou know, we really need to go grocery shopping,â you tell your husband who was sitting before you.Â
He hums, âweâll go this afternoon, I need to get some things too,â
You swallow your food, âwhat things, babe?â
âDoyoungieâs birthday is just around the corner, and I wanna bake him a cake,â he tells you.Â
You squint your eyes at the boy, âbake? Are you sure you wonât burn down our kitchen?â
He rolls his eyes at your words, âIâm a grown up, babe, I definitely know how to bake,â
âDidnât Mark went trending for a while when he cooked eggs?â the members laugh.Â
âI remember that!â
.â˘Â° ⿠°â˘.
The scene changed to the both of you in the grocery store. You were searching for ingredients that you had written down in your phone.Â
You would often forget items, so before you leave the house, you would type down all the things you would need in your phone.
Mark on the other hand, would get food on impulse- mostly snacks and instant food. You donât mind, but space is limited, every time your husband joins you, he would overspend and in the end, you wouldnât have space to keep all the extra food.
âBaby, you know we donât need all these,â you sigh tiredly, your hand gesturing to the different types of chips laying in the cart. âJust pick one, honey, we canât have everything from the store,â you say exasperatedly.Â
Mark pouts at you but quickly removes most of the chips until there was 2 left. You decided to close an eye since you saw one of the new chips that you had been dying to try out.Â
âHave you gotten the ingredients for the cake?â
Mark raises his eyebrows at your words, his hands digging through the pile of food in the cart before pulling out a box of cake mix.Â
Episode 27
âLetâs welcome the couple who has received good remarks after coming to our show!â one of them said, followed by a series of claps.Â
âWah~ I really did not expect to receive so much nice comments,â Mark says with his hands placed on his chest, âThank you so much everyone, y/n and I spent the whole night reading all of your comments.â
âActually, Iâm curious,â one of them quickly adds in, âhow did the baking go for your memberâs birthday?â
âI ended up burning the cake, so Y/N helped me from scratch,â he says sheepishly.
The casts laugh in unison.Â
âDid Doyoung know?â
Mark shakes his head, âI lied and told him that I was the one who made the cake, but he didnât believed me, so I ended up telling him the truth,â Mark says, flustered.
The scene started with the both of you walking in the park. Strings of coos left the casts lips when they saw you wearing a dress with your hair braided to one side.Â
With squinted eyes, the both of you tried to find a good shaded spot in the park before putting down a disposable picnic mat, placing each of your shoes on each corner to prevent it from flying around.
You place the picnic basket in the middle of the mat while Mark took a seat, enjoying the view. You took out all the food that you had prepared a few hours prior.Â
âDo you need help, babe?â you hear your husband ask from beside you.Â
You shake your head, âIâm good,â
After you had settled all the food down, you finally let your legs stretch before you, leaning your head on your husbandâs shoulder.Â
Markâs hand that was previously resting on the plastic picnic mat, finds yours, lacing his fingers with you, âthis is nice isnât it?âÂ
You nod, letting out a satisfied hum. You point towards his phone, âI think you have some songs prepared for this particular moment, am I right?â
âOh, Mark do you actually have multiple playlists for different occasion?â one of the cast asks.Â
Mark nods sheepishly, âI think it just became a habit of mine,â
âIâm not surprised though- he is in the music industry after all, I think it is pretty common, right?â
âI suppose so? It just doesnât feel right to me if the music doesnât match with the vibes.â
Mark reaches out for his phone, clicking on a particular playlist called âwhen the sunâs outâ. Soon, the first song started playing softly in the background.Â
A content sigh leaves your lips, âyou know, if I had to choose one thing Iâm grateful for you, it has to be your taste in music,â you tell him, quickly pressing your lips against his cheeks softly.Â
Mark turns red at your gesture, his hand clutching yours tighter.
âNow Iâm curious, what is your favourite song at the moment,â one of them asks, turning to face Mark.
âI really like Justin Bieber a lot,â he answers, âBut right now, I canât stop listening to Good Days by SZA.â
An hour has past by, most of the food already gobbled up by you two.Â
âBabe,â Mark calls, poking you on the arm.Â
âHm?â
âArenât you tired?â he asks you, âyou woke up super early to make food.â
A soft smile spreads across your lips, âa little, why?â
Your husband softly pats his lap, âcome lie down and nap a little. The wind feels really good right now,â
You cleaned everything up and made space for yourself. You comfortably laid your head on Markâs lap.Â
âYou know,â you started, âI really wish I could look at you right now, but the sunâs too bright.â
Mark rolls his eyes, âdonât be annoying and go to sleep,â he says, his finger softly flicking your cheek.Â
A soft laughter left you before you finally shut your eyes, dozing off quietly while laying in your loverâs lap.Â
Once Mark realises that you were asleep, he quietly raises his hands to cover your face from the sun.Â
âAwww! You are such a romantic, Mark!â
When you realise the bright light was gone, you open an eye to look at your lover who was looking at his phone, with his hand still high up to cover you from the bright sun.Â
A smirk adorns your lips, your eyes shutting close. You grab his hands, startling your husband. Lacing your fingers with his, you bring them down to your chest.Â
âI donât want your arms to be in pain,â you mumble, stroking his hands with your thumb.Â
You hear Mark scoff at your statement, âI think I can handle it, babe. But, whatever you say.â
A few moments later, you feel his sculpted hands playing with your hair. He would occasionally massage your scalp or tangle your hair between his fingers.Â
You didnât say a word, feeling comfortable.Â
The episode ended with Mark pressing a long kiss on your forehead, before pulling away.Â
âThis couple is too cute!âÂ
âItâs really unfair that Iâm still single, this couple makes me want to get married so bad!â one of them agrees.
Episode 35
âAfter a long time, the couple is finally back again for another episode!â the cast says excitedly, âthe last time they were here, the couple went on a romantic picnic date, leaving us all with envy!â
Mark laughs at their comment.
The scene started with the both of you entering the SM building. You had a cap and a mask on, hopefully to cover your identity from the fans waiting outside.
Although the news of you guys being a married couple had came out a few months ago, there were times where you did not feel like getting your pictures taken. Which, to be honest, was a rare moment for you and Mark since he is one of the biggest boy group.
You held onto your husbandâs hands who was leading the way to the practice room.Â
Once he finds an available room, Mark quickly puts his things down on an empty table.Â
âOkay, so first we need to do some stretching so we donât hurt ourselves when we dance later,â Mark tells you.
âWhy did you want to dance?â
âTo be honest, I really hate working out,â you tell them truthfully, âso I asked Mark if he could teach me some dance choreography,â
âAre you good at dancing?â
You laugh, âabsolutely not! I have never danced in my life, so this is my first time.â
âSheâs too adorable!â
âBabe, can we do something super easy?â you request, taking off your cap since it was covering your vision.Â
Your husband nods, âyeah, weâre gonna do Kick It today.â
You wince at that. Kick It is the easiest he could think of? You didnât say anything, following whatever your husband says.Â
âOkay, so, we wonât do like- the whole choreography,â your husband enunciate. Just as you were about to let out a relieved sigh, Mark continues, âweâll do from the first chorus onwards.â
Your mouth went wide.Â
The casts laugh at your reaction.
âOkay, so the chorus kinda goes like this-â he shows you, looking at you through the mirror, âyou know it right? youâve done it before,â
You were at a loss of words, âI mean- I guess? But itâs not perfect so you still have to teach me!â you whine.Â
Why is he going so fast? you though to yourself.
âOkay, okay,â he chuckles.Â
For the next few hours, Mark teaches you the choreography step by step.Â
Your husband was standing behind you, his hands resting on yours, positioning your hands at the right position.Â
However, you ruined the romantic moment by stepping away from the male and turning to face him with furrowed eyebrows.Â
The casts let out a series of grumbled sighs.Â
âWhy did Y/N step out? It was such a romantic moment!â
âExactly!â the other adds on.
âCan we please take a break?â you whine, wiping the sweat that was rolling down your forehead, âIâm so tired,â you huff out, throwing yourself at your husband as he captures you in his arms.Â
Mark chuckles, agreeing. He grabs your hand, pulling you to sit down on the empty chair. He quickly runs to the other side of the room to grab two bottles of water, opening one of them and passing it to you.Â
He opens one for himself before gulping half of the bottle down his throat.
After you had gulped the whole bottle down, you tried to catch your breath. âI didnât know it would be this tiring,â you confess, âis this what you go through everyday?â
The boy chuckles, âyeah, but a shorter period.â
You roll your eyes at his statement, âOkay, show-off,â you joke.Â
Meanwhile, in the background, Kick It was playing on repeat. An idea pop in your head.Â
âWanna know something?â you asked your boyfriend.Â
He nods.
âIâve been practicing your rap part of this song,â you tell him, âI can rap your part word for word without any mistakes,â you say arrogantly, a smirk forming on your lips.Â
âOh yeah?â he challenges, âmy part is coming up, I would love to see you try, babe.â
You stand up from your sitting position with your bottle of water in hand. Getting ready for the verse, you bring your hand that was holding the bottle to your mouth- pretending it was a mic.Â
âIâm really excited to see Y/N rap,â
âMe too, she seems so confident,â the other adds on.
When the verse started playing, you rapped your husbandâs part.Â
Mark started laughing hysterically when you started mumbling random words. âDude!â your husband laughs, his hand slapping his knee multiple times when you rap incoherently.Â
His laughter only ceased when the music stopped. âOh my god,â he says breathlessly, his fingers wiping the tears from his eyes. âI think you should replace me in NCT,â he jokes.Â
Just as you were about to reply, you heard a group come in. You turn around swiftly, your eyes widening when you see the familiar girls walk in.Â
âOh, oh,â Wendy cheers, âwhatâs the couple doing in the practice room alone?â
âOh my god, is that Red Velvet?â one of them asks, looking over at Mark with widened eyes.Â
Mark laughs and nods his head.Â
âOh.. perhaps, you could ask them for their autograph the next time you see them,â they ask sheepishly, âmy bias is Seulgi,â they quickly add on.
Mark laughs harder at that, âsure, if I see them around, Iâll make sure to ask for their autograph,â
âOh hello,â you greet the girls, they bow politely back at you.Â
Your husband chuckles awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck as he greets the girls. âIâm just practicing with Y/Nâ
Mark never got the chance to properly meet them in private- it was either with his members or never. Hence, he felt a little nervous seeing them in private.
Irene raises her eyebrows, âare you guys performing for something?â she asks, pointing at the both of you.Â
You shake your head, âI just wanted to learn for fun,âÂ
Wendy nods, âare you guys going to practice some more?â she asks, looking at the both you expectantly, âcauseâ, if you guys want to, go ahead. Our choreographer is going to be late so we have time to spare.â
Mark checks the time on his watch before shaking his head, realising it was already pretty late and didnât want to disturb the girls with their schedule.Â
âNo, itâs fine, we have to go anyway. I donât want to steal your hour,â he says politely.
Ever since Mark had debut years ago, it was very hard for this group to book the practice room. So, whenever they managed to get the room, they would often use the room until the next person comes in.
You and Mark start packing up your things as the girls settle down and starts stretching.Â
The girls bid the both of you goodbyes as you quickly left the room.Â
âOh my god,â you gasped, your hands clutching onto your husbandâs arm as he looks at you in astonishment. âI just met Red Velvet,â you say to the boy next to you.Â
You hit his arm multiple times, âI literally met Red Velvet! I even talked to them, babe!â you squealed, hitting his arms harder. That was until Mark grabbed your hands for you to stop hitting his poor arm.Â
âY/N hasnât met Red Velvet?â they ask. Mark shakes his head, no. âWhy not?â
âI knew she liked Red Velvet but she never really asked me if she could meet them,â Mark explains, âand we had this conversation before- meeting the other people in my company,â
âWhat about?â
âY/N told me that she didnât want to take advantage of my privilege, even though when I told her it was fine,â Mark explains. âSo she never really asked about wanting to meet Red Velvet, or any of the other people in my company.â
âJeez- babe,â he chuckles, putting your hand down and instead wrapping his arm around your shoulder, tugging you closer to him. âYou were never that excited when you see me,â he jokes.Â
The both of you reach the ground floor, stepping out of the elevator.Â
âThatâs because youâre not the prettiest girl group in the world!â you reply cheekily, a smirk playing on your lips.
âHow long have you been a fan of Red Velvet?â
You hum, thinking back all the years you have been listening to their songs and collecting their PC Cards.Â
âI think it was a few months after debut?â you doubtfully reply. âIt was when I had just came to Korea for school and one of their music was playing in a store, and I really liked it!â
Episode 43
âAh, our Mark Lee! Where did you go?â the cast whined, tugging on his arms.Â
Mark cackle shyly, hiding his face slightly, âIâve been very busy these days~â he says shyly, âmy group had just finished promoting our recent full album,â he explains.
The casts cheers.Â
âI heard you guys won first for many awards!â one of them says, âcongratulations to NCT! As expected, our talented group with many talents and visuals,â they compliment.
âThank you,â Mark gives his signature grin, âactually, I felt bad for not being able to come on here for so long, so I actually brought our albums to gift it to you guys,â Mark says, reaching for the stacks of albums in the bag.Â
He hands each one of them the signed and personalised albums to the casts.Â
âI canât wait to listen to this!â
âIs Y/N featuring in any of the songs?â they joke.
This time, the show started with you in the kitchen. You were cooking dinner since some of his members were coming over.Â
Mark on the other hand was sitting in the living room. He was seated on the floor, with papers spread all over the table. He had one of his hand holding a pen, swirling it around, while the other was pressed against his cheek.Â
âI wanted to produce a song with my own lyrics for this upcoming album,â Mark explains to the cast since they seemed to be a little confused.Â
âHave you produced a song with your own lyrics before?â
He nods, âI have, but I received help from others. This time I want to make a song that only has my own lyrics,â Mark explains.
âI never really got to ask an idol this question- but, is it hard to have your songs to be featured in an album?â one of them asks.Â
The spotlight was on Mark.Â
Mark nods, âit really depends. They usually focus on the music itself- since lyrics can be changed, but if the lyrics are too personal, most of the time they donât really let you put it in a group album.â
âDid your song manage to be in the album?â one asks.Â
âNope,â mark chuckles.Â
The casts laughs with Mark.Â
âBecause it was too personal?â
Mark simply shrugs, and points at the screen to continue watching.Â
A heavy sigh leaves past the boyâs lips. He was staring blankly at the piece of paper.Â
The camera manages to capture everything that was written on the piece of paper. Messy scribbles was the only thing that could be seen.Â
âBabe,â you called. Mark quickly looks up at you, a pout on his lips. âMake sure you clean the table before the guys come,â you tell him, pointing to the mess on the coffee table.Â
This morning, Johnny had contacted Mark saying that he misses him and wants to visit. You quickly agreed, since you havenât seen the boys in so long.
He hums, slamming his head softly on the coffee table, a groan coming out of him when he hit his forehead a little too hard.Â
A small chuckle left your lips when you heard his groans, âinspiration will come, babe,â you advise as you wipe the plates, âbe patient.â
Mark turns his head so his cheek was pressed against the table as he stares at you.Â
âYou look so pretty,â Mark mumbles, but you hear him clearly.Â
âDoes Mark compliment you often?â
You nod slightly, âI wouldnât say, all the time,â you exaggerate, âbut it was definitely enough for me to know he loves me,â you giggle.
Mark continues to stare at you as you work on the food you were making. He was so deeply in love with you that sometimes he wonders what life would be like if he never met you.Â
He lays his eyes on you for the next 15 minutes. It definitely didnât go unnoticed by you- but you had forgotten about it once you were properly focused on cutting the onions.Â
With heart eyes, a sweet smile spreads across your husbands lips.Â
The casts all coo at the romantic scene.Â
Mark finally sits up straight. With a grin plastered on his face, he grabs a clean sheet of paper and starts writing his feelings down. Surprisingly, he didnât need a break, he continued writing for the next 30 minutes, satisfied with the lyrics.Â
âDid you write a song about Y/N?â
Mark nods, âI did, it was mostly how I felt about being with her.â
âEarlier you said that the song didnât manage to be in the album, will you be posting the song on another platform?â
Mark scratches his head, uncertain, âIâll have to ask my company about that,â he jokes.
Episode 47
âWeâre finally back with our favourite couple! How are you, Mark?â
âJust fine, Iâm preparing some things with my group, so I have been a little busy now a days,â Mark replies.Â
The casts sighs, âyouâve been working really hard, Mark.â
Mark simply chuckles awkwardly, unsure of what to say.Â
The show started with you sitting on the familiar chair in the building.Â
âOh? The chair seems familiar?â
You had one of your legs crossed over the other with your right hand, holding your phone. You were scrolling through Instagram, hoping it would lessen your boredom.Â
After a few minutes, you put your phone down when you realised youâve been scrolling for minutes now, but nothing had caught your eye on your feed. You let out an exhausted sigh, resting the palm of your hand against your cheek.Â
15 minutes later, your eyes widen when you see the familiar boys step out of the elevator.Â
You quickly stand up, walking up to the boys.Â
âY/N!â they called, âoh my god, it has been forever since I last saw you!â
You giggle. Your eyes search for your husband but he was no where to be seen.Â
âHeâs still upstairs, talking to the producer,â Johnny says when he notices you looking around.Â
You send him a smile, âI see. Are you guys going back home now?â
The rest of the boys were already walking away after tapping your shoulder to bid you goodbye without interrupting your conversation with Johnny.Â
âJungwoo and Yuta are going to get dinner, the rest of us are heading home- it has been a long day, weâre all exhausted,â Johnny says dramatically.
The boy never fails to make you smile, âI know, Mark told me about your schedule.â
Johnny smiles, âalso, Mark had a rough day,â he tells you. Your eyebrows raised in curiosity. You wondered what had happen.Â
âDid you know that Johnny had told Y/N about your day?â
He shakes his head, âI didnât know, but I am thankful for him for always looking out for me.â
It was only 30 minutes later when you saw your husband step out of the elevator. Instead of his usual jog, he was stomping towards your direction. With the way he was walking and the all black outfit- it made him look even more intimidating then he already was.
Johnny was right, he definitely had a bad day today.
âHi, baby,â you say softly, when he finally stands in front of you. You softly rub his arm, hoping it would calm him down a little, âyou okay?â
Mark only hums, tugging on his bag when you attempt to take it from him. âiâll carry it,â he says. You kept quiet, not wanting to worsen his temper.Â
The both of you quietly walk out of the building.Â
âCan we take a walk?â you ask, looking up at your husband.
He looks down at you and raises his eyebrows. Truthfully, he was already exhausted, but he would do anything you wanted. Mark shrugs, going with the flow.
The both of you started your walk in silence. Your husband had both hands tucked in his pockets with his lips pursed. You took multiple glances at the boy, wondering how you should comfort him.Â
After hesitating for a while, you wait until he has his hands out of his pockets. When you notice that he finally has his warm hands untucked, you instantly grab it in yours.Â
A smile form on your lips, when you hold on tightly onto his hands.Â
âAw, she was trying to comfort you!â
âWanna talk about it?â you speak up, tightening your grip on his hands.Â
Mark smiles, ânot really, just thankful that I have you,â he says. You feel his thumb softly stroke the back of your hand, âyouâre too good to me, Y/N.â
You scoff, âwhat do you mean? You are literally my soulmate, whenever you fall, I go down with you,â you reassure him. You nudge his shoulder with yours, âIâll always be the shoulder you can lean on. No matter how bad it is, Iâll always be by your side.â
âHow do you usually comfort Mark during his bad days?â
âHe doesnât talk about his feelings often,â you say, letting out a short chuckle. âBut itâs pretty obvious, he isnât very discreet with his emotions,â you laugh, nudging the boy next to you.Â
âDepending on how bad it is, I would try to leave him alone until he calls out for me.â
âWhy wonât you talk about how you feel?â
âI have always grown up with this mindset- never give off negative energy to anyone who hasnât done anything wrong,â he blurts out. âI feel like a burden whenever I would talk about my problems to anyone- not just Y/N.â
âI feel very thankful whenever he talks about his problems,â you say to the camera. âI feel proud that I am the one he could lean on.â
Episode 50
âMark Lee is back!âÂ
Series of claps could be heard from the room.Â
âI heard you had received multiple awards from MAMA!â
Another agrees, âthatâs right! NCT won Favourite Male Group and Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10! Congratulations to NCT!âÂ
Another series of claps filled the room.Â
âThank you so much! My group wouldnât have received the award without all the loving support from all my fans,â Mark expresses his gratitude.Â
The show started with you sitting on the couch comfortably. You were deeply concentrated on watching something in front of you.Â
âWhat is she watching?â
The camera zooms out until the casts takes notice the television planted on the wall. The casts recognizes the ceremony playing on the television.Â
You were waiting for your husbandâs group to start performing so you can take videos and pictures.Â
After watching the ceremony, you recognize the introduction to one of your husbandâs songs. You sit up straight in excitement, fishing out your phone, ready to film his performance.Â
You had purposely took bad photos of your husband so you could laugh at them later with him.Â
15 minutes later, the performance ended. Even though youâre backstage, you still softly clapped at the end of his performance.Â
âEverytime I see Mark perform, I feel so shocked that we have such a talented guy on our show,â one of them says, making Mark chuckle.Â
âHe was born to be a star,â another comments.
After a few more performances by other groups, it was time for the award ceremony.Â
You were extremely anxious for this. You hoped all the times that Mark had came home in the middle of the night only to leave again early in the morning or how he would injure himself but would still perform with full energy for his fans would be worth it.Â
You bit your lip anxiously, your palms had turned sweaty from the long wait of the awaited name.Â
âThe Best Male Group of 2020 goes to...â the announcer trails off, opening the card that held the winner.Â
âCongratulations to BTS for being the Best Male Group of the year!â
You let out a huff, throwing your head back tiredly.Â
âYou seemed really stressed,â
You nod, agreeing with them, âtruthfully, I have seen Mark work really hard this year. It pained me to see him suffer so much and not being able to tell anyone.â
âNext, letâs see the nominated groups for Favourite Male Group!â says the announcer. The screen fills with different groups with their names.Â
You take a deep breath, sitting up again to watch the ceremony. Your lips purse in concentration.
âThe Favourite Male Group of 2020 goes to...â the announcer trails off, opening the golden card.Â
A smile forms on their lips, âCongratulations to NCT for being the Favourite Male Group of 2020!â
You let out a gasp, looking at the stylists who was also watching the ceremony.Â
âOh my god!â you squeal, âthey said NCT, right? I didnât hear it wrongly, right?â you ask everyone in the room.Â
The stylists nods, âits NCT!â
Your hand goes over your mouth in shock.Â
âHer reaction is so adorable,â
You watch the boys walk up on stage. Taeyong is the one to step forward to give his speech, followed by Johnny in english.Â
Finally your husband steps up.Â
âWow,â he starts, his fans starts to scream louder. âthis is so crazy. I want to start by thanking Lee Sooman for giving me the opportunity to be part of NCT. Next, thank you to our stylist and coordinator for the awesome outfits- we would never be able to win this award without the unique outfits and make up!âÂ
He takes a deep breathe, âand of course, our dearest fans. Thank you for always supporting us, and giving us the opportunity to be on stage with this award,â he smiles when he hears his fans cheers. âLastly, my wife who has always been by my side even during my ugliest side. Thank you for never giving up on me always bringing the best out of me.â
A grin forms on your lips, you soon became flustered from the coos coming from around you.Â
âI canât wait to meet our little one soon. I love you, Y/N. Thank you,â he ends his speech, stepping off stage.Â
âWait! What do you mean little one?!â
âI have been pregnant for 15 weeks now,â you say happily. âWe have been trying for a baby for a while now, and we are officially having a kid soon!â
The whole casts starts freaking out.Â
âWhy didnât you tell us?!â they scolded Mark.Â
âWe would like to ask the fans for the upmost support,â Mark adds. âWith that, this would be our last episode as a We Got Married Couple.â
âThis is a huge surprise!â
âWe had so much memories on the show,â Mark admits.Â
âI had such a fun time on here, but for now, Mark and I had agreed that we want to put all of our focus on our baby,â you added.
âWow... this is a happy ending,â the casts says.Â
âWe would like to thank Mark Lee and Y/N for their contribution to the show,â they added.Â
âWe really enjoyed watching you and Y/N being cute!â
âThank you so much,â Mark bow, âit was an honour to come on this show,â Mark says, âI had so much fun, thank you so much for everything.â
âThank you so much Mark. We hope you have a wonderful journey from now on and congratulations to your first child!â

AROMA
Pairing- Sebastian Stan(ceo) x reader(cafĂŠ owner)
Summary- Funny how a complete stranger is enough to add a little aroma to your life...
Warnings- I think there are none but if you fall for a soft Seb thenâ¤
REQUEST OPEN
____________________________đ¤_____________________________
"Write it down..two bags of Arabica, 500 gms of cinnamon sticks and .."
you placed your monthly order over phone and after you were done a female voice from the other side of the phone repeated your order to confirm. "Is that all it?" the voice enquired. "Yes that will be all for now and please Danielle send me two bags only. You know what trouble you had put me through when you sent me twenty bags of coffee."
Oh how could you forget, three weeks..it took three weeks to get over that problem when Danielle has messed up the order. Anyways that was around four months ago but would stop rubbing her nose on it? Definitely not. "Oh would you stop already please? The new head of the facility is pretty hot." expressed Danielle.
"Excuse me did you say hot?" you repeated the sentence as you chuckled. "I-I m-mean hot tempered. There is no room for any mistakes." she corrected.
Danielle, who happened to be your best friend worked in SIPHON the best facility which stored coffee which was imported and exported from and all around the world. When your grandfather had opened this cafĂŠ, he wanted nothing less than the best quality of coffee for his customers and SIPHON was the best place to choose from.
"Well isn't that satisfactory." you smiled as you thanked her and cut the call, to receive a notification from SIPHON that your order was confirmed and will be arriving in four days.
You sighed as you looked at the sky which appeared to be shy around you as it was changing its colors from a soft blue to a shade of orange marking the end of the day. As the sun was setting, the natural light ran along the walls giving life to all of the photographs that hung. "Are you happy pabby?" you asked the question to your grandfather's picture, wishing for it to answer. But as always it stayed quiet as it did for the past three years when you had taken over the cafĂŠ to keep your grandfather's dream alive.
It was a Sunday, the one day where you could open up your cafĂŠ a little late than usual. You groaned as you crawled from your bed and freshened up. Unlike every Sunday, you bought flower bouquets and headed towards the orphanage.
"Sister Amelia?" you stood near the gate and waited. "Y/N, oh!" Sister Amelia exclaimed you could feel the restlessness in her voice. Upon questioning she mentioned that some wealthy guy had come to talk to the children at the orphanage. It was not the number of people that scared Sister Amelia, it was the children. The sudden intrusion scared the children.
"Where is he?" you questioned as you handed over the bouquet. "Inside..but be careful" Sister Amelia warned as you stepped inside. You couldn't see the man at first but when he stood up from his crouched position, you were overwhelmed by his aura. His beautiful face was tensed up in confusion and awkwardness. You couldn't help but smile at his demeanor. He was dressed in a three piece suit stood like a child being punished as he was trying to get the children comfortable around him. It was so endearing and so was he.
"Sister y/n?" exclaimed Miguel, a five year old boy, as he came running to you. All the children seemed to have let go of their agony when they saw your face and hurdled around you. Funny what miracles a comforting smile from a person you know can do.
The man's tension disappeared when you walked the children towards him and introduced every single one of them. He spent around an hour with them before he finally spoke to you.
"Thank you" you flinched at his heavy voice. "What for?" you asked innocently. "Thank you for getting them comfortable. Its not a very usual sight to see. Anyways, my name is Sebastian Stan." he said as he extended his hands towards you. "Well its a shame that people find you intimidating Mr.Stan. My name is Y/L/N" you said as you accepted his greeting.
"Please call me Sebastian, Ms.Y/N" he said as both of you started walking down the stairs. "Please call me Y/N." The sudden mimicry caused him to laugh and you chuckled. It was a small town and almost everyone knew about one another. It was nice to talk to someone new like him.
"So Sebastian, what business do you have here?" you asked him as the both of you decided to sit on one of the stairs. He whipped his head in your direction when you said his name but you couldn't see that as the children and their playful laughter had attracted your attention. He looked at how beautifully the sun rays decorated your skin and how the shadow of the leaves hid your skin from the sun rays. How beautiful your eyes looked every time you smiled. It made him smile too.
The sudden silence shifted your attention back to Sebastian and you caught him staring at you. He realized that the question was left attended for, "I took over the facility here. SIPHON" he cleared his throat. "So you are the new head?" you asked causing him to frown.
"How did.." he questioned.
"Oh I have a cafĂŠ and all my coffee based orders are from SIPHON" you explained to which he nodded. You talked about how you took over the cafĂŠ and about your grandfather. He heard everything silently, how passionately you talked about your work and your family.
"You must really like your job, I mean taking over an entire facility..its a great deal" you spoke to which he lowered his glance. "Its complicated, I was forced to take over the facility. I thought maybe if I make myself familiar to the surroundings, I would like this place so we visited the orphanage" he said looking at the children. "To be honest I know my business but its just business for me, its not something that I like to do. I can't even differentiate between different types of coffees and here I am running an entire facility." the way his face fell while he expressed about his situation, you knew he didn't want this kind of life. His earlier sentence of people being uncomfortable around him made sense. He never let him be himself around people because he was forced and he was afraid.
Both of you got up and walked down the remaining stairs and reached the gate. He thanked you for your gesture and sat in his car and just then, "You know what, every kind of coffee is unique and has different characteristics but the main difference comes from the aroma. So the next time you look at a coffee bag, observe the aroma" you spoke. He sighed and looked at your reassuring smile. You started walking away after bidding him goodbye and he looked at your figure getting smaller as you walked away from him.
"Sir may we leave for the facility?" his secretary questioned him from the front sit.
"Yes and also please keep me updated about Ms. Y/N" he said your name with a smile plastered on his face as his car made its way towards the facility.
Finally you received your delivery from SIPHON and the correct number of bags made you chuckle. But there happened to be a letter on top of the cinnamon packet which was beautifully decorated in the colors of white and gold. As you picked up the letter and began reading it, you smiled.
"You were right, the aromas are different and so are you." it read.

Finding You (Bucky Barnes x Reader) 3/?
A/N: Hey everyone, sorry this took so long!! This chapter was kinda hard to write, I felt like there wasnât much that I could add but I did my best! I wanna get to Bucky as much as you all do! đđŠ
Summary: Youâve been one of SHIELDâs top spies for years but what happens when the organisation youâve put your trust in crumbles and Captain America gives you a mission to help him find his best friend? The last thing you expected to happen was to fall in love with your assignment and become best friends with a witch.
Taglist ~ just comment if you wanna be added

Chapter 1 ~ Chapter 2 ~
Warnings: none
Chapter Summary: You and Steve run from HYDRA
Chapter 3: TOMORROW ISNâT PROMISED TO ANYBODY
I enter a shopping mall where I buy a hoodie for myself and a jacket, glasses and a hat for Rogers using cash. I pass by JD sports and see some Supra Vaders I know the Captain will just love so I go in and grab a pair, and get a pair of Nike Dunk Sky His for myself. I leave and meet him where he waits, away from any crowds and we put on our simple yet effective disguises.
âFirst rule of going on the run, is donât run. Walk,â I say, recalling my operations training.
âIf I run in these shoes theyâre gonna fall off.â
I smirk. âSorry, thought youâd be bigger.â
Ignoring my innuendo, Steve huffs. âTheyâre ridiculous, why canât I lace them up?â
âItâs a fashion statement.â I glance at a map as we pass by. âApple storeâs upstairs.â We ride the escalator and enter the store.
Finding an empty laptop, I get to work. âThe drive has a Level 6 homing program so as soon as we boot up, SHIELD will know exactly where we are.â
âHow much time will we have?â he asks, surveying the area not so subtly.
âAbout 9 minutes fromâŚâ I insert the drive. ânow.â I enter the coding commands to unlock the intel but something inverts each one⌠now comes in my training from the Academy of Science and Technology. âFury was right about that ship. Somebodyâs trying to hide something.â As I look through the coding script my inputs are rewritten to counter the commands. âThis drive is protected by some sort of AI.â
âLike Starkâs robot voice? Can you override it?â
I raise a brow as I type away. âThe person who developed this is slightly smarter than me. Slightly. Iâm gonna try running a tracer. This is a program that SHIELD developed to track hostile malware, so if we canât read the file, maybe we can find out its origin.â The map tracks a location and pinpoints it as we are approached by a store employee.
âCan I help you guys with anything?â
I react quickly and give him my best charming smile. âOh, no. My fiancĂŠ was just helping me with some honeymoon destinations,â I giggle, placing my hands on Rogersâ shoulders.
âRight,â he adds awkwardly. âWeâre gettinâ married.â
âCongratulations! Where are you guys thinkinâ about goinâ?â
I go back to the laptop and the state has been pinpointed.
âNew Jersey,â the Captain reads aloud.
âHuh,â the employee lets out, surprised. âI have the exact same glasses,â he says after a pause.
âWow, you two are practically twins,â I remark as I type away.
âYeah, I wish!â he chuckles. âSpecimen. Uh, if you guys need anything⌠Iâve been Aaron.â
âThank you,â Rogers rushes out. âYou said 9 minutes,â he checks his watch. âCome on.â
I shush him. âRelax⌠Iâm working.â The screen reads Wheaton, New Jersey. âDone.â I look up at him and he has a frown on his face. âYou know it?â
âI used to. Letâs go.â He pulls the hard drive out of the laptop and we walk out of the store. âStandard tac team. Two behind, two across,â he turns to face forward. âtwo cominâ straight at us. If they make us, Iâll engage, you hit the south escalator to the metro.â
As he speaks I roll my eyes, this guy was definitely not meant for the spy world. âPut your arm around me and laugh at something I said,â I say.
âWhat?â he sounds utterly confused.
âDo it.â I feel his arm rest on my shoulder and he gives the most awkward laugh I have ever heard come from a person. âSee, Captain? No need to make such a scene.â We work our way to the escalator and I spot Rumlow on the escalator coming up. I turn to look up at Rogers. âKiss me.â
âWhat?â he says again, flustered.
âPublic displays of affection make people very uncomfortable.â
âYes they do!â he whispers.
I put my hand to the back of his neck and push him towards me so our lips meet and I feel his hand fall on my waist. I open my eyes and pull away slowly after enough time has passed.
âYou still uncomfortable?â I ask turning and walking down the escalator.
âThatâs not exactly a word I would use,â he murmurs and quiets down as we get to the parking lot.
âWe could get bus tickets to New Jersey, think Iâve got enough cash for the trip,â I suggest.
âKeep a look out,â he says approaching a truck as I frown but do as he says. In no time I hear the start of an engine and whirl to look at him. âCome on, we donât have all day,â he says smugly.
I get into the passengerâs side and he starts to drive to the Garden State.
âCanât believe Captain America can steal carsâŚâ I say striking up a conversation.
He chuckles. âKind of a necessary skill when youâre fighting a World War and youâre in enemy territory.â
I hum and he glances at me. âAnd itâs not stealing if we give it back so get your feet off the dash.â
âBossy,â I remark but do as he says. âI like that,â
Thereâs a pink tint to his cheeks and his jaw clenches but he doesnât say anything.
âSo I have a question for youâŚâ I start with a raised brow. âBut you donât have to answer if you donât want to, although no answer is an answer in itself so-â
âGet to it, L/N,â he interrupts authoritatively.
âWas that your first kiss since 1945?â I smirk.
âThat bad, huh?â
âI didnât say that!â I laugh.
âWell it kinda sounds like thatâs what youâre saying.â
âI was just⌠wondering if youâve had practice⌠since going⌠into the ice,â for a super secret agent, that answer lacked finesse. âItâs just, I donât know how you did it in 1945 but guys normally move their mouths for a long kiss like that,â I shrug.
âI donât need practice.â
âEveryone needs practice.â
âIt was not my first kiss since 1945. Iâm 95, not dead.â
âOh?â I say, curiosity piqued. âWhoâs been kissing Captain America then?â
âWouldnât you like to know?â
âSomeone special?â
He chuckles. âIt might come as a surprise to you but itâs hard to find someone with shared life experience,â he says sarcastically.
âThatâs okay, you just make stuff up.â
âWhat, like you?â I know he doesnât intend for it to sound mean so I shrug it off.
âNot everyone can handle the truth, can they? I wouldnât mind a few white lies to keep something good going⌠and you donât need shared life experience, right? Not really⌠thereâs that whole opposites attract notion, after all.â
âBut itâs good to have someone who understands what youâre going through, right?â
I shrug⌠sometimes not knowing is better. Safer. âMaybe. But in this occupationâŚâ I sigh. âWell I wouldnât know. Iâve never been in love.â
âYouâve â you never had someone?â Looks like I threw him for a loop.
Shaking my head I turn to look out my window at the trees we pass by. âI donât hate love or anything⌠itâs just dangerous to love someone like⌠us. Isnât it? Theyâd either get hurt by people we go after or⌠ya know, if we donât come back⌠it hurts them too.â
âBut tomorrow isnât promised to anybody,â he reasons. âSo why deprive yourself of something as great as love on the off chance you die?â
âBecause itâs easier.â
âFor who?â
âWhy the interest Rogers? You wanna fill that spot? Play a little house? Imagine we donât have to save the world from domestic terrorists?â
He hums at my decision to not answer the question. âNo, thatâs not what I need right now.â
âAnd what do you need?â
âJustâŚâ he sighs. âa friend.â
Of course. âWell, thereâs a chance you might be in the wrong business, RogersâŚâ
âMaybe we could start with not calling each other our last names?â he offers.
I smile. âMaybe.â
We arrive at the location the tracer indicated as the sun is setting.
Camp Lehigh is on a sign but it seems to be long abandoned.
âThe file came from these coordinates,â I say as I pick the lock on the chained fence.
âSo did IâŚâ Steve says looking up at the sign in nostalgia. âThis camp is where I was trained.â
âChange much?â
âA littleâŚâ
I wonder around, scanning the area for any thing to indicate a power source. âThis is a dead end. Zero heat signatures, zero waves. Not even radio. Whoever created the file must have used a router to throw people off.â I tuck the scanner in my back pocket and the Captain looks up at me then shifts his gaze to behind me, frowning. âWhat is it?â
He starts walking and I follow. âArmy regulations forbid storing munitions within 500 yards of the barracks. This buildingâs in the wrong place.â He breaks the lock with his shield and we enter as it leads us underground.
I turn on the lights and it reveals the insignia painted on the wall. âThis was SHIELD. The early days, after it evolved from the Strategic Scientific Reserve,â I say, recognizing the outdated logo.
We wander around, finding a wall of three portraits. âThe three founders.â He looks at me. âWhat? The history is one of the things they teach at the academies. Colonel Philips, Howard Stark and Margaret Carter.â
âThere are academies?â
âThree. Very tough admission.â
Rogers spots something and looks closer. âIf youâre already working in a secret officeâŚâ he pushes the shelves apart. âWhy do you need to hide the elevator?â
Using my SHIELD issued code breaking device I type in the code for the elevator which takes us down even further to a room of computers, monitors and servers.
âThis canât be right⌠this equipment is ancient how could it be used to make the files?â
There was one place that looked like it came from this century and I decide to take a risk and plug in the usb drive. The servers whir and more lights come on.
âInitiate system?â a computerized voice says.
Yes, I type. âCreepy.â As we wait for the system to boot up I smirk. âShall we play a game?â I laugh at myself. âItâs from a movie that was really pop-â
âI know,â he interrupts. âI saw it.â
A camera moves to Rogers and a voice recites his name and year of birth. Then it turns to me and does the same.
âIs this the AI that was blocking my commands back at the mall?â I say looking closer.
âI may not be the man I was back when the Captain took me in 1945 but I am.â A photo appears on one of the other screens.
âYou know this⌠thing?â
âArnim Zola was a German Scientist who worked for the Red Skull.â
âHeâs been dead for years,â I add, remember something of the history lessons.
âFirst correction, I am Swiss. Second, look around you. I have never been more alive.â The robot voice recounts his end of life story and how he uploaded his consciousness into databanks.
âHow did you get here?â
âBy invitation.â
âIt was Operation Paperclip after World War II. SHIELD recruited German scientists with strategic value. Always thought they shoulda just locked them all up⌠we probably wouldnât be in this mess if they did.â
âHYDRA would have died with the Red Skull.â
âCut off one head⌠two more shall take its place,â I recite their mantra aloud.
âWhen history did not cooperate⌠history was changed.â A flurry of photos of the Winter Soldier in the back ground of significant political events appear on the screens.
âThatâs impossible, SHIELD would have stopped you,â I say, moving closer.
âAccidents would happen.â News of Howard and Maria Starkâs car accident shows up next.
Rogers punches the screen as Zola provokes him.
Does that meanâŚ? I donât finish the thought as the mad scientist explains what the drive contains.
âWhat kind of algorithm? What does it do?â I ask.
The doors begin to close as Steve is too late to throw his shield. A beeping comes from my communicator, detecting something. âSteve, we got a bogey. Short range ballistic 30 seconds tops.â
âWho fired it?â
âSHIELD.â I pull out the drive and Steve pulls a grate from the floor. I jump in and he follows, putting the shield up above us as rubble rains down on us. He strains against the weight of it all and the debris settles.

A Little Party Never Killed Nobody...
               1700 Follower Drabble!
A/N: Oh goodness gracious!! Iâve hit 1700 beautiful and loving followers. Everyone of you bringing more and more light into my world:â) In honor of you all helping me fulfill my dream as a writer and supporting me along the way, here is a little drabble for all you sweet humans. I canât thank you enough, and I canât express my love for each of you enough as well...Â
-So, I stole from my prompt list on an old challenge I did and created a drabble of my own with them! Hope you enjoy my lovelies<3
Pairing: Bucky x Reader
Word Count: 5000+
Prompts:
âI actually did my hair for the first time in 3 months. I think I deserve a medal for this. â
âDude, itâs 3 in the morning.â
____________
The banging was loud and profusely consistent as Y/N sat up from sleep with a groan. She sent a death glare to the door as if it was the culprit to waking her, but she knew it was one of her teammates that would soon be dead...
âWhat?!â she said bitterly, quickly tearing open the door.Â
Bucky was on the other side with a slick grin showing his amusement to the situation. Her hair disheveled from sleep and eyes filled with hatred, but the sports bra and tight sleep shorts were doing something for her in her annoyed state.
âMission. Be in the helicarrier in bay 3 in 20 minutes,â he said with a smirk before turning in his step to walk away.
âDude, itâs 3 in the morning!â she shouted after him.
âEvil doesnât sleep,â he responded without looking back.
All he heard from behind him was a strangled groan mixed with a muffled scream as she went back in her room and slammed the door.Â
____________
The last to board the helicarrier, Y/N walked in throwing her things to the side, and sat in a seat immediately falling to her side to fall asleep again.
âWake up, Y/N. We have to do a briefing,â Bucky said, slapping her boot.Â
âI swear to God. Do you have a deathwish?â she growled, begrudgingly sitting up and rubbing her eyes.Â
âReally not a morning person this one,â Nat laughed coming around the corner. Y/N sending her a glare as well, but not nearly as deadly as the one she saved specifically for Bucky. âCome on. Weâll make it quick, and then we have a 4 hour flight. You can sleep then,â she nodded toward the briefing area of the giant plane.Â
Taking a deep breath she stood up following the rest of the team with Bucky behind her.Â
âCicely Rosmarie DeLuca. Daughter of Ramone DeLuca who is a well known crime boss in Italy. Seems to run in the family as Cicely has taken over the control of her family's business within the last 2 years,â Steve explained pulling up pictures on the screen as everyone sat with informational packets on the group in front of them.
âSince when did we start handling crime bosses?â Sam spoke up.
Everyone who had been on this particular mission included; Nat, Sam, Bucky, Steve, Y/N, and Wanda. So if this many Avengers were needed, clearly something much bigger than just crime bosses were involved.Â
âBecause the DeLucaâs are working with a division group of Hydra. We think they arenât really in it for what Hydra wants, but more so gaining the alli and making some money on the side,â Steve sighed. âIt looks like they have a means to steal plans that could wreak havoc on confidential equipment that we have in the works. Stuff that could easily be modified to become world wide dangers.â
âI have an idea,â Y/N spoke up. The whole crew turned to her. âLetâs just stop creating things that can destroy planet Earth. I feel like thatâs a healthy start to creating the safe environment weâve been fighting so hard to preserve over all these years.â The grin on her face was big and sarcastic and quickly dropped to a bitch face.Â
âYou canât help but be a smartass all hours of the day, can you sweetheart?â Bucky groaned a few seats ahead of her. The pet name only there because he knew how much it annoyed her.
âAnd you canât help but be a nuisance to my life all hours of the day, can you jackass?â she retorted.Â
âYou guys. Focus,â Steve interrupted, sending the two his Captain look. âYouâre going to have to get along for this mission because weâre going undercover, and we only have one night to get this right.â
âUndercover how?â Wanda asked.Â
âThereâs a gala in Venice. From what weâve gathered, the information will be swapped there. We need to hunt it down discreetly and capture the agents working with Hydra. From there, weâll bring them in for questioning and figure out where exactly they are getting their information from. We believe we have a spy within our facility thatâs leaking all the confidential knowledge.â
âAnd if these Hydra agents happen to do what Hydra does best and kill themselves before we can get anything out of them, then what?â Y/N asked.Â
âEver the optimist,â Bucky mumbled. No one else paid mind to it, but Y/N kicked the back of his chair making him turn and send yet another glare at her.
âWeâve prepared for that,â Steve said, nodding to Nat to go to the next slide. âWe have devices, drugs, and antidotes in case cyanide becomes involved. The capsules of drug and equipment being used incapacitates them long enough to get them back to our base and keep in holding. From there, we will take other precautions to keep them from doing anything stupid that involves cyanide. Again, we donât know if that will be the case, but with our history with Hydra, they have yet to prove us wrong.â
âSo basically, youâre bringing us to go to a party to roofie Hydra agents. I gotta say, not what I was expecting from our high tech division,â Y/N nodded with a small laugh.
âItâs the best way to keep discrete and not cause a scene or hopefully any fatalities at the gala. They are using a charity for cover, and I rather not actual good people get hurt in the end,â Steve sighed. âNow, we land in 3 and a half hours. Once landed get your gear ready, look over your profiles, and get prepared for the gala. Like I said we are going undercover, so look your best.â
âThis doesnât happen to be a black tie gala, does it?â Bucky asked.Â
âWhat gala isnât?â Sam retorted.Â
âSuits are already ready to go in the other room. Ladies, our dresses are in section 11 of the ship,â Nat explained, standing and gathering her things. âY/N, that means you're going to figure out how to walk in heels,â she smirked.Â
âI think weâll need more time than youâre giving us for that to ever be convincing,â Bucky snickered. Sam laughed too.Â
âOh, shut the fuck up. Iâve done missions like this before. Just because I donât wear an evening gown everyday, doesnât mean I canât pull one off,â she stood, walking by and flicking the back of Buckyâs head.Â
Her, Nat, and Wanda leaving the room while Bucky held the crown of his head in vexation.Â
âSon of a-â he started going to stand and retaliate.Â
âBuck, Iâm going to need you to pull it together for one night,â Steve said, cutting him off from his path to harass Y/N. âYou and Y/N are teammates. So either put on a face or suck it up for the night.â
âIâm not the one you need to be telling that too. The she-witch in there is going to be the one to mess it up if any of us,â Bucky argued.
âY/N is a well trained spy and the best marksman on the team as of right now. She will do her job and youâll do yours. You have to let the petty fighting go for one night, ok?â
âCome on Cap. You know itâs more than just petty arguments. Bucks gotta crush,â Sam said singing the last words.
With wide eyes, Bucky turned to Sam. âI do not! Sheâs nothing but an annoying headache added to my life... Scratch that. Migraine.â
âThatâs what someone with a crush would say,â Sam said with a grin and squinted eyes.Â
âI donât have a-â Bucky started.
âHey Cap. Nat needs you real quick,â Y/N said poking her head back in. Everyone turned to her as if they just got caught doing an illegal act and stayed silent. âDid I walk in on something?â
âNo,â Steve shook his head. âIâll be there in a second.âÂ
She nodded before giving everyone a furrowed eyebrow in confusion as she left. âWeirdos,â she mumbled walking away.
Steve let out a deep sigh. âJust behave yourself tonight. If you do, Y/N will too.â He walked to leave the room.Â
âYeah, right,â Bucky scoffed.Â
âYeah, your 100% smitten,â Sam laughed walking past him out of the room.
âNo, Iâm not!â
__________________
The time had come. Everyone was prepared. Lookouts were in their designated spots, any tech that was being used was up and live, and everyone was about to meet at the Gala.Â
âOk, Nat, youâre with me tonight. Sam and Wanda you two will be with each other. And Bucky and Y/N, you two will be partners as well,â Steve explained over the coms.Â
All the women had arrived just a few minutes later and the men were already scoping out the place.
âWait, what?â Bucky responded back. Sam standing next to him.
âOh, he definitely did that on purpose,â Sam chuckled.Â
âWhy the hell would he? We donât work well together,â Bucky groaned, looking around for her.Â
âWell, you better figure it out. At least for tonight,â Sam patted his back, taking a champagne glass from the passing waiter and moving to find his chosen partner.Â
Bucky rolled his eyes into another dimension thinking about the all annoying arguments that he was sure would be apart of the night.
âFine, Y/N what are you wearing?â Bucky asked in the comms.
âJames, Iâm flattered, but I donât really like you in that way,â her sass came back through the ear piece.Â
âSteve,â Bucky groaned.Â
âGuyâs stop it. Y/N tell Bucky what you're wearing so we can start this mission. We donât have all night,â Steve instructed with irritation.Â
âA black dress,â she sighed.Â
âWow, real descriptive. Let me just search through all 500 of them I see,â Bucky said sarcastically.Â
âIâm by the rip off Vincent van Gogh painting on the east side. Next to the waterfall,â she explained.Â
Bucky took a deep breath walking over in her direction. It was a really crowded place, so maneuvering through people to find her became difficult. That was until he reached the fountain she was talking about, and the people had thinned out some.Â
Glancing all around, he couldnât pick her out from all the black dresses heâd seen.Â
âY/N, where the hell are you?â he whisper shouted in the comms. No answer. âOf fucking course no answer,â he said to himself.Â
But upon sharper inspection, he noticed her face in the distance.Â
And holy shit.Â
That did not look like the Y/N he was used to. I mean it did, but she was usually a natural beauty. Not that she wasnât right now, but done up the way she was was a whole different kind of beauty.Â
Her dress was a black off the shoulder evening gown. The middle section of it was a see through mesh, and the top part of it looked as if it she had a bra on full display. Only bringing more attention to her perfectly modeled torso. Her hair was done in an elegant, but messy, kind of braid. The whole ensemble flowing together and creating an refined and formal Y/N that Bucky had never got the chance before tonight to see.Â
Having looking that stunning, Bucky wasnât surprised to see the men around her glance her way. However, the man that was only a few feet into her space and talking up a storm looked to be making Y/N uncomfortable. She had on a fake smile trying not to bring attention to herself, but disgust to the older and space invading man, was showing in her eyes.
Quickly, Bucky maneuvered to her.
âThere you are, doll,â he smiled widely at her, putting his arm out and wrapping it around her waist as he pulled her side into him. âI must have gone to the wrong fountain looking for you,â he winked.Â
As if in instinct, she leaned into his side and brought her hand to his chest lightly patting it.Â
âOh dear, you and your directionally challenged self. I canât take you anywhere,â she laughed in a surprisingly domestic way.Â
âOh, is this your-?â the older, and now looking at him closer, creepy man started looking Bucky up and down.Â
âMy date, yes,â she answered. âIf youâll excuse us, we have some other friends that we were supposed to be meeting with,â she patted Buckyâs chest. âRight, honey?â
Lost while staring down at Y/N, he didnât answer right away, but when he looked back at the old man who had a suspicious look on his face, he snapped out of it.Â
âUh, yes. If youâll excuse us,â he said offering his arm, which she took and intertwined herself into him.Â
They walked away quickly before the man could say anything else and once a good distance away, Y/N let out a deep sigh.Â
âTake it you werenât the one that approached him?â Bucky chuckled.Â
â99% of the time itâs not the woman doing the approaching. Itâs the sexually frustrated, overcompensating, and egotistic assholes that do,â she shook her head.Â
Ok that made him chuckle a little.
âWell, glad I could be of service,â Bucky nodded looking around them. If he was going to stay focused on the mission, he couldnât be looking at her. She had proven herself to be a distraction for the night while looking like that.Â
âYes, thank you. I would have done something about it, but I donât think throat punching someone in the middle of a gala would have been normal entertainment for these people,â she said almost in disgust at the crowd around them. All prissy and rich, donating only a 164th of their wealth to try and not come off as greedy.Â
âIâm sorry, I donât think I heard that right. Did you just say⌠Thank you?â Bucky teased.Â
âDonât push your luck, Barnes,â she countered, but when she looked up at him there was a small smile on her dark maroon lips. A look Bucky had never really been on the receiving end of.Â
He returned it in surprise and noticed just how devastatingly gorgeous she looked up close. Had she always been this stunning and Bucky never noticed. Ok, well he had noticed, but with the constant fighting and bickering they did, it was hard to focus on it.Â
Without thinking, his thoughts spilled out. âYou look very nice tonight,â he said to her. Instantly blushing and looking away.
âA compliment? I didnât know you knew how to use those,â she gasped teasingly.Â
âDonât push your luck, Y/L/N,â he retorted back. The smile still stuck on his face.Â
âTime out. Are we being civil right now?â she asked, halting her steps. Bucky stopped and looked back at her.Â
âItâs possible if you just learn how to be less aggravating,â he smirked.Â
âThere it is. Whew, I was worried we were getting along for a second,â she laughed, continuing their walk.
Bucky hadnât heard that laugh ever. At least not directed to something he had said. And damn, he liked it. Why the hell did he have to like it?
âYou know? I actually did my hair for the first time in 3 months. I think I deserve a medal for this,â she added.Â
âI donât think they give out medals for that,â Bucky couldnât help himself, but laugh with her.Â
âWell, they should. It took quite a bit of effort. Doing hair could be an olympic spot in itself,â she shrugged.Â
âOk, everyone in their sections?â Steveâs voice came through the comms.
âGood here,â Sam spoke up.Â
âWeâre set here,â Y/N checked in.
âGreat. Keep an eye out for the individuals weâre here for. Y/N, Bucky, you guys keep an eye on the DeLucaâs. If they venture off from the party, it could be the meeting weâre here for. So follow and keep us updated,â Steve instructed.Â
âGot it, Cap,â Bucky voiced in. âAlright, shall we mingle?â he asked, looking down at Y/N.
âI mean, if we must,â she deflated some on his arm, but quickly put on a mask straightening and acting as if she went to an event like this every weekend.Â
______________
They conversed, they faked life stories with the rich, they drank, and they easily convinced everyone around them they were just another pair of investors. The mission was doing fine other than the fact, nothing suspicious had happened yet.Â
The was until, Y/N was getting her 4th drink and Bucky noticed Cicely DeLuca was conversing with someone they had kept an eye on all night. And now, was headed off to another room with them.Â
âY/N,â Bucky said coming up behind her. âThey're moving.â
Y/N took a long sip of the wine in her hand. She squinted toward the group and nodded.Â
âOk, letâs get to business,â she nodded, walking straight to them.
âY/N!â Bucky shouted quickly, grabbing her arm before she got to far, and she fell into him some.Â
âOops,â she giggled, stumbling on her feet.Â
âWait a second. Are you drunk?â he asked in a concerned voice.Â
âNo, no,â she brushed off. Clearing her throat. âNo⌠Ok, a little tipsy, but not drunk,â she waved off. âI lost count of the champagne, and Iâm pretty sure they have a high proof brand.â
âDear God. We're on a mission, Y/N. What were you thinking?!âÂ
âI was thinking, free alcohol,â she smirked before standing straighter. âNo time to talk about it. We need to go.â
She turned and quietly marched to follow. Bucky close behind caught up to her and wrapped a hand her arm.
âYouâre a mess. Just let me lead,â he groaned pulling her arm through his and keeping her close.
âYou smell good,â she noted.Â
He looked down at her and saw she was giving him a soft sincere smile. Really? Out of all times, this is when she decided to make Buckyâs head all fuzzy.Â
âCome on,â he sighed, pulling her gently to the corridor the suspicious group disappeared into.Â
Discreetly they stayed around the corner and watched the DeLucaâs and guests go into a secluded room. No one else was in the halls but them and a few guards posted at the doors.Â
âShit,â Bucky whispered.Â
âWhat?â Y/N asked peeking her head around to see what Bucky saw, but she peeked out a little too much and the guard heard them. He quickly pulled her back from view.
âDamn it, Y/N,â Bucky whispered to her in a frustrated way.Â
He was going to pull her away down another hallway to try and keep from being fully caught, but he wasnât fast enough, and the guard started to come around the corner.Â
Without getting a second to prepare, Y/N crashed her lips into Buckyâs and wrapped her arms around his shoulders behind his neck. A little stunned at first, Bucky froze, but it didnât take him long to fall into the action with her. He slowly brought his hands around her waist and pulled her flush to him. The kiss hard and frenzied.
âHey, you two arenât supposed to be here!â The guard shouted.Â
Y/N pulled away and faked shock.Â
âOh, goodness! Iâm so sorry,â she blushed, adding a fake british accent and pushing herself into Bucky in embarrassment. âWe were just trying to find a quiet place to⌠Well, I wonât get too graphic,â she giggled.Â
The man who at first had a hard glare on his face eased up and sighed.Â
âItâs fine. Iâm just going to need you two go back to the party. This section is closed off,â he instructed coming closer.Â
âOf course, of course. Youâre only doing your job. I get it,â she smiled a captivating and warm smile untangling herself from Bucky who had yet to be able to form a coherent thought since her surprise make out session. âLet me just grab my clutch real fast- Oop!â She dropped the purse that had opened and the contents of it spilling out. âOh God. Iâm such a clutz,â she laughed. The alcohol created a tint of red in her cheeks only making her little act more convincing.Â
âHere, let me help,â the large guard offered, bending to help her grap the loose items.Â
âEver the gentleman,â she beamed up at him. Before he knew it though, the tiny bottle of perfume she had in the clutch let out a spritz in his face.Â
He coughed at first, but in seconds fell over asleep. Before he could hit the floor with a thud, Bucky moved to ease him down.Â
âWhat the fuck?â Bucky said with wide eyes as he looked back at her.Â
âWhat? Iâm doing my job,â she answered, calmly and collectively putting her things back in her clutch and smoothing out her dress. Her behavior was completely different from 2 seconds ago. âTipsy doesnât mean Iâm completely incompetent.â
The footsteps of the second guard coming around the corner were getting closer.Â
âMove him,â Y/N directed before walking toward the other threat.Â
By the time Bucky had placed the other man in a closet nearby and turned the corner where Y/N had gone, he saw her dragging the second guard back his way.
âA little help, muscles?â she groaned at the heavy set guy in her hands.Â
Bucky quickly did the same with the second guard placing them in closets and blocking the door with a heavy decorative table.Â
âCap, weâre at the meeting room. Both guards taken care of and about to put the listening device on. You ready?â
âNat?â Steve asked.
âOn itâ, Nat replied. âY/N, if you canât get into the room, stick it to the door. I can get feedback that way too,â she instructed.Â
Bucky looked at Y/N. âWhereâs the device?â he asked.
âOne second,â she exhaled. She placed her hand on his shoulder for support as she lifted her foot and dug out a small mechanism from her heel. âFor once, heels are useful in my life,â she sighed, putting her foot back down and activating it. âKeep watch.â She moved to the double doors the suspects were in and placed it on the outside as Bucky kept an eye down the hallway.Â
âWhy do I feel like a sidekick in this and not an actual agent?â Bucky mumbled.Â
âBecause you're Robin and Iâm the Batman in this scenario, didnât you know?â she said with a wink and her sarcasm coming back.Â
He rolled his eyes before looking back down the hall.Â
âOk, weâre in,â Nat explained. âSam and Wanda head to their location for stand by in case they need backup.â
âCopy that,â Wanda spoke up.Â
They all listened in on the conversation but so far it had just been exchanging casualties and nothing having to do with evil plans.Â
âGod, talk about a boring party,â Y/N sighed next to Bucky as they waited for something to happen.Â
âWasnât boring 5 minutes ago,â Bucky thought to himself.Â
He couldnât help but look over to her and study her again. She was focused on the view from the balcony off to the side. You could see the party happening down there, but it was a private spot where the people below couldnât really see them up where they were.
She fidgeted with the small mesh strap that wrapped around her arms creating the off the shoulder look. Her eyes darting around as if some form of danger was down there and not behind her.
âWhat are you seeing?â he asked.Â
âDonât know. But something about this seems off,â she said softly.Â
âOff how?â he went on.Â
âItâs been 5 minutes of small talk and nothing about what we came here for. Itâs usually straight to dirty business with these things.â She looked back at him, but the look in his eye wasnât showing interest in the mission. He looked like he was thinking about something else. Turning back to the balcony she spoke up. âWhatâs going on in that head of yours Barnes? You catching something Iâm not?â
âWhyâd you kiss me?â he said bluntly.Â
She stiffened and turned back to him. âWhat?â
âYou could of easily just acted drunk and done something with that to throw him off, but you kissed me. And not just a fake, âIâm trying to act kissâ That was a full on kiss,â he said taking a step to her.Â
âWeâre on a job Bucky. I have to make it as convincing as possible,â she said, but there was a weird hesitancy in her voice. âThat or we would have been caught and dealing with two highly trained security guards, possibly causing a ruckus that would have brought attention to us.â
He paused. He was looking too far into it, wasnât he? He just made an awkward situation out of nothing.Â
âThough, I canât not say you in that suit had something to do with it,â she mumbled to herself, but the super soldier hearing beat out her quiet confession.
âIâm sorry, what was that?â Bucky grinned shocked and stood behind her.Â
âYou look good in a suit, ok? It made it a little easier kissing you,â she huffed not making eye contact with him. âDonât get too big an ego there, bud.â
Though he could come up with about 30 different things to say and push her buttons with that confession, thatâs not where his mind went.Â
When she turned, not hearing a witty response for the co-worker, she didnât expect to see him right behind her and almost chest to chest at the movement.Â
âWhat are you-â she started, but looking up into his eyes, she didnât see irritation this time. No, she saw lust. His eyes dilated to where the blues of his eyes just covered the rims. âBucky,â she said in a hushed whisper not being able to break her gaze from his lips.
But before she could question him, he lowered himself to her level and connected their lips once again that evening. His hand going from her cheek to behind her neck pulling her in. Her hands at first on his chest nervous at the closeness, but now grabbing the lapels of his coat and pulling him closer.Â
Frantic and starved was the best way to describe that kiss. As if it had been a long time coming, and tasted oh so much sweeter after marinating all this time.Â
They eventually pulled away from the intoxicating and dizzying action. Both of their eyes practically black looking at the other.Â
âIâve wanted to do that for a long time,â Bucky confessed.Â
âCouldâve fooled me,â she said, still trying to catch her breath.Â
Breaking the moment up, they heard a crash come from the other side of the doors they were monitoring.Â
âShit,â Y/N said, quickly making haste to the room. Bucky two steps behind her.Â
Bucky kicked open the doors and saw Hydra agents pointing their gun at the DeLucaâs. Though their job wasnât to take care of the crime boss family, no one needed to get hurt.Â
The gun quickly turned on Bucky, but before the shot could be made, a knife flew into the man's shoulder causing him to grasp it and fall to the ground in agony.
âNice shot,â Bucky smirked.Â
âThanks, now focus!â She smiled back before the two went in and a whole fight scene evolved.Â
Sam and Wanda were there seconds later, and as if the easiest task in the world, all the bad guys were in the hands of the Avengers.
No one died, and everyone that was needed for questioning was put to sleep somehow and brought back to the helicarrier.Â
________________
âNice work, Y/L/N,â Steve patted her shoulder that hadnât been injured.Â
At some point in the fight, the sleeves she had been fiddling with on her shoulders had restricted her to defend herself from a knife. In the act of cutting her though, it also cut the sash off and Y/N used it to her advantage. She had used the fabric as a way to tie up the man who assaulted her and render him defenseless after some light manipulation with the sash made his weaponless. Crazy the things you can make dangerous when your a trained spy.Â
âThanks Cap,â she smiled, hissing as the nurse on board put a disinfectant on the wounds.Â
âHey, coming out with just one injury is a win when you use a ribbon as your weapon,â Bucky chuckled walking over. Hands in his pockets and a smile taking over his features.Â
âYouâre not wrong,â she laughed before hissing again at another round of alcohol to the open cut.
âI donât think youâll need stitches, but we are going to wrap this up to keep from infection. Let me go grab the gauze,â the nurse informed her, heading to the medical bay.Â
âNice work tonight,â Bucky said, sitting next to her. âI guess working side by side isnât as horrible as I suspected.â
âEh, it wasnât horrible, but it wasnât great,â she said shrugging. Bucky sent her a blank stare and slowly blinked, not amused. âOh, lighten up. Iâm just pulling your leg,â she laughed, shoving his shoulder lightly. âYouâre not that bad of a partner.â
He eased up and a soft smile formed on his lips before he looked back down.Â
âListen,â he started.Â
âHow do you feel about getting coffee when we get back?â she cut him off.Â
âWhat?â Bucky said sitting straighter.Â
âCoffee. You know that drink that gives people energy. Itâs usually served around breakfast time, but in Europe they actually-â
âI know what coffee is,â he shook his head with a chuckle. âIâm just a little shocked.â
The nurse came back around the corner and motioned for Y/N to come with her. She got up and turned back to Bucky before she followed.Â
âYou shouldnât be, considering what happened on that balcony,â she winked, making him blush as she disappeared around the corner.Â
âDamn,â Bucky eventually said to himself when he could form a thought. âSheâs going to be the death of meâŚâ

Hey ive been swamped with ACT studying latley, i was wondering if you can do head canons on what Benimaru would be like as a dad (x mother wife) where the two of you have kids? Since he is a proto nationalist I totally see him wanting a big traditional family. How would he react to pregnancy news? What would he be like when his s/o is in labor, or his reaction to babys first steps or first word. So much fluff!!
If, while reading this, you get the feeling that it was wirtten by some caveman who doesn't know shiet about children or words, know that this caveman tried her best to make it as cute and fun as possible, and that really is the pinnacle of her abilities. Okay?
+ As always, sorry for delay, I know how nerve wracking can exams be (just finished my midterms) and I hope you will achieve the highest possible results. Unfortunately you asked an author who is what she is ... Please take these 1 500 words as compensation.
Enjoy!
News
Benimaru took the news of your first pregnancy in silence. In a silence so deaf and long that every passing second tightened the hoop around your heart tighter and tighter.
It took you three days to get ready to say it to his face, and yet the stress was still eating you from the inside. His lack of response as you fumbled the ends of your T-shirt in your hands did not make it easier nor better.
You looked up sharply, preferring to face his anger rather than spending another second in uncertainty, and you found that Benimaru was looking over your shoulder, present body, but definitely not mind.
After a few calls and waving in front of his face, Benimaru seemed to wake up and shifted his lost gaze to you.
"We will have a kid?"
"Yes, we will." You repeated, stressing each word, trying to get through to him this time. You expected many things, but not so much confusion.
"A kid." He repeated, and his crimson eyes lit up the glow. "A kid!"
Benimaru cuped your checks and kissed every inch of your face. Lips, checks, temples, forehead, nose, eyelids.
"A kid."
The next person to hear the happy news was Konro, and then the whole city somehow. The residents' mouths did not close for the next 9 months.
Each time he took it better and better. Each time he almost went out of his skin showering you with kisses or dancing around the room with you in his arms. Only this first stage of the shock was shortened.
Pregnancy
Benimaru didn't know at first what a pregnant woman could and couldn't do, so it was best if you didn't do anything. After long interpretations from the midwife, the range of your allowable activities extended beyond sitting and breathing, but there was no question of any use of force.
After a while, you even stopped trying to lift anything above the bowl of rice. Every time Benimaru saw that you were carrying a package, you happened to get the slightest rebuke. It was worse for all Hikeshi within 100 meters for not-helping. After that, you didn't want to trouble the innocent firefighters anymore.
As you can't even look at sake, your evening drinking has turned into making up names over tea. (Not that Shinmon suddenly stopped drinking. He doesn't want to drink in front of you when you couldn't, and after every news of the next baby, the alcohol flows in streams, so he can't complain about abstinence.) He loves holding you in his arms, with one hand for growing belly. Once he felt a kick, he literally melted.
With time, as the family began to grow, it was his duty to make sure that the older children did not tire you and find them to do something.
Childbirth
The first time he had no idea what to do. He literally turned to Konro saying:
"Konro, [Y / N], labor, what do I do ?!" Sould he wreck some buildings?
Konro, as a loving friend aware that there was no time to explain it to him with words, kicked his composite ass to the hospital.
While the whole city was celebrating the birth of another Shinmon, Benimaru was sitting next to you, holding a small bundle in his stiff hands.
"You can hug them, you know?"
"They are too tiny!" he muttered, afraid to raise his voice so as not to wake the sleeping figure.
âThey are stronger than you think, Love. They're Shinmon after all, âyou recalled with a chuckle.
Since then, every time the inhabitants of the viewer of Benimaru running to the hospital (have you ever seen Benimaru running? Me neither.), they immediately reach for alcohol.
Begginings
Benimaru has experience and no major problems in taking care of children, especially since they are his. In his time off work, you can see him sitting in front of the Guardhouse, giving his toothless child to chew on his forearms, and sometimes making a tour around the city together, to the joy of all the residents. Other times, he will sit in front of the little one trying to teach him the first words.
*
"Câmon kid, da-d." Benimaru tried to keep the child's attention who was much more interested in chewing a wooden puppet.
"Daaa ~"
"Close enough, da-d." Some time ago he made a bet with [Y/N] that their first word would be dad, and the rules did not exclude support. "Da-d."
"Maaa ~"
"No, DA-D." He sighed softly and looked up sharply for the approaching steps.
Konro stepped into the yard, gloomy, looking around until he found the Captain.
âOi Waka, have you seen Hika and Hina? I canât find them anywhere. "
The red-eyed man shrugged, pointing to the street.
"Maybe they are terrorizing the candy seller again."
Konro sighed heavily and disappeared behind the building, leaving them alone again, and Benimaru returned his attention to the child, already scrambling onto his lap.
"Wanna sleep?" He helped them climb a little higher and leaned in as they held out a small hand at him. He was expecting an awkward slap on the nose, but instead got a tug on his hair almost to the floor. "Ack! What the⌠"
"Waka ~"
"What?" He froze as he tried to untangle the strands from his impossibly grasping fingers.
âWaka ~â The child repeated, tugging again, and giggled smugly.
Waka? Does it count as a dad? Did he win?
The next achievement was to make sure they didn't repeat all those curses after him, or at least so [Y/N] wouldn't hear.
Beni with big family
You probably expected that just as with twins, the whole Guardhouse will look after them ? Hah, ya wrong.
ENTIRE CITIES WATCH OVER THE MINI MIXES OF BENI-CHAN WITH [Y/N] -CHAN. They are so spoiled that sometimes it feels like only you and Benimaru have any rules. On the other hand, there are no problems with finding your children, just call them by name and half the street will indicate their whereabouts.
⢠Maybe you can't see it, but Benimaru doesn't know what to do with himself out of happiness. Even when he comes home in the evenings after a really long day, the sight of all those faces looking at him as the center of the world makes him smile. At such moments, he will always find some strength to play.
⢠The fun begins when they are old enough to help him with his work, not putting the Infernals to rest or blowing up houses, but just making a errands around the city where he can show them what Hikeshi's job is and teach them about his core beliefs.
He doesn't always succeed, but he knows he can rely on you and your ability to use words if he does.
⢠Benimaru has no problem with cases when one of his children doesn't want to follow in his footsteps, he knows that he has raised them well and that when he is gone, they will take care of his city regardless of his position or profession.
⢠BUT NOTHING RELATED TO THE EMPIRE!
You had to use force to stop him from throwing your daughter's boyfriend out the door when he heard he was with the empire.
Play time
Benimaru's favorite form of spending time together is, of course, teaching his children everything he can. Regardless of their gender, they all have inherited above-average amounts of fire power and a love to destruction.
After several dozen problems with stopping his own children from killing their siblings, Benimaru created a game called: "dad agains everyone"
Itâs fun to watch Benimaru surroded by figures half his height, who try to collapse him to the ground.
Rest of the family
Grandpa Konro
This man survived small Benimaru and the Twins. There is nothing this man havenât seen. Which makes him the best grandfather in the empire. At this stage, Koro already has a separate locker for everything from his numerous grandchildren.
He is also your kids safe place when the parent's fury rages outside.
Aunt Hika and Hina
There were times when you had to entrust your older children to the care of twins (if your children were several years old, Hika and Hina were also older, donât get me wrong). The girls made sure that the younger members of the family learned everything they needed to know about Asakusa, the inhabitants and their usual behavior.
In fact, at some point they were considered to be part of their siblings, and so were treated like ones (read: regular bloodshed).
Nevertheless, every time one of the stepsiblings messed up with someone they shouldn't (manga readers know perfectly well that kids have it after their dad), the two fire foxes turned into two bloodthirsty beasts, ready to chase away any problematic individual.

Call Me Mother, Chapter One
I languidly drained the last breath from my cigarette, the drag filling my lungs. My garter straps hung down lazily, tickling my thighs, as they awaited their purpose. Music thumped rapidly, and whoops of delight resounded through the hall. The dressing room door swung open; a small, but curvaceous woman behind it.
Her eyebrows were tweezed to perfection, eyes deeply shadowed, eyelashes false and curled into large feathery swoops; her mouth was like a plump strawberry. Iâd always harbored a mild curiosity about how it tasted.
âMary, youâre up in 10 minutes. I want you at the curtain in five," Cristella said, her hispanic accent thick.
âIs that a new corset?â I asked. Cristella turned me around, and yanked the laces of my corset together. Thank god I havenât needed to breathe for the last 150 years, I thought. I floated a small influence her way. Gentler, please. She complied, unwittingly. They always do.
I donât normally use my influence on people I like, but Iâm far too hungry to risk her pinching me with this corset. I couldnât forgive myself if I lost control. She was far too kind to die a death that violent.
âIt is. This papĂ chulo Iâve been seeing said he wanted me to wear it for him. Maybe heâll tip better," she said, carefully pulling the slack out of the lower half of my corset. I placed my hands over my belly, holding everything in place.
âWhatâs the crowd looking like?â I tucked the ties away. She jutted a hip out, and began counting off on her impeccably manicured fingers.
âThe usual crowd. Old Man Carraway, that one divorcee who drinks like a fish. College kids. Oh, thereâs also these dudes in silver masks. Low-key kind of demonic. And some weird guy in like, face paint? Heâs painted up like a calavera. I figured they came from that concert that was in town. You know, the one that church was protesting? Say they like worship Satan or something?â
âSounds about right." I bent down to attach my straps to the garters of my stockings.
âTheyâre probably here for a private room, so I figured Iâd put you on now. Youâre good at handling the weirdos." Cristella giggled, watching me struggle to get the backs of my stockings attached. She and I broke into fits of giggles, as she chased me in circles, trying to help me attach my stockings.
âLet me get that. Hurry up and get on stage!â she said, giving me a playful smack on the ass. I pranced out of the room, trying to avoid her grasping mitts.
âHey! No bruising the merchandise!â I giggled, linking arms with her as we strutted backstage, perfectly in step with one another. She grabbed the microphone from Mike the Mic Guy, gave me a wink, and stepped through the curtain.
âAaaaand weâre back! Now, this next lady Iâve got lined up for you is quite a treat. Sheâs as pale as cream, thicker than a bowl of oatmeal, and will definitely step on you. Well, she might if you tip well. For legal reasons, we canât call her âElvira,â so I guess weâll settle for⌠MOTHER! MARY!â That was my cue. I sauntered through the curtain, my hips moving like a figure eight. I moved across the stage, âLullabyâ by the Cure playing. I always chose various genres of rock for my acts. Not that I have anything against the other girlsâ music choices⌠but thereâs only so much female rap you can play in one night. As I began to dance, I noticed the group that Cristella had mentioned earlier. They were sitting front and center, near the edge of the stage.
Seven of the masked figures sat around the Painted Man, as I had labeled him. Two of the masked figures seemed effeminate, and the other five seemed more masculine. They all ranged in different shapes and sizes. Maybe the masks are a fetish thing? Cristella did say that they came from a concert⌠Something about them seemed off. I did a swing around the pole, dropping into a fireman, trying to catch a scent. It was a whirlwind of scents, none of them too out of the ordinary. Except the beefy one. He smelled like midnight. I donât know how to explain it. What really caught my interest though was the Painted Man. Specifically, his eyes. One of them was grey, the iris almost black. The other eye had a pale, white iris. It suited him, and it was beautiful, in an eerie way. Those eyes looked at me, as I danced around the stage, and they knew me. If I had a working heart still, it would be racing.
As Robert Smith crooned, I descended the stairs of the stage as sensually as one could in Pleaser heels, making my way to the Painted Man. If I wanted to know what these people were, Iâd have to get a closer look. The Painted Man patted one of his legs with a gloved hand, and cocked his head to the side. I took the invitation, but not before I teased him. I crouched between his legs, running my hands up his thighs. As I rose, I walked my hands up his thighs, bringing my face closer to his. His breath graced my skin, smelling faintly of licorice. As he leaned in, for what I could only assume was a kiss, I rose again, strutting over to one of the masked beings. It was the smaller of the male ones. I sat in his lap, letting him run his hands over me as I began to grind on his lap. His growing erection told me I was going to have a busy night.
âYour boss is a little too eager," I whispered, getting a good whiff of him. He smelled faintly of smoke. I put my hands on his chest, trying to keep my balance. No heartbeat.
âWhat makes you think heâs my boss?â The being asked petulantly. He grabbed onto my waist, as he began to grind with me. I moved his hand to the small of my back, and leaned back in a dip. The being ran his other hand over my belly, in between my breasts, and up to my throat, bringing me back up to his masked face.
âYouâre the one wearing a uniform." I darted my tongue out to lick my lips. What is he? My mind raced as I tried to run through every supernatural creature Iâd ever known. But then I heard it. I barely even understood it. All I picked up was price and one night. It was Ghoulish. The taller female ghoul was asking about what I can only assume was my hourly rate. Most strip clubs in this part of Vegas were just fronts for brothels. However, itâs hard to sell the idea of prostitution to Mid-Western vanilla tourists. So most of my income was made from stripping. I usually had one or two clients I went to bed with a night. It wasnât very stable, but then again, I had less expenses than the average stripper, considering my âcondition."
âTell your friend my basic hourly rate is $500. My Ghoulish isnât any good." I stood up, and made my way to the female ghoulâs lap.
âHow do you know Ghoulish?â she asked, a bit of surprise in her tone. I bent over in front of her, shaking my ass for her. She put a couple of bills in the waistband of my panties, punching my previous ghoul in the arm. He forked over some cash as well.
âIâm not human. Iâll leave it at that," I said, stuffing the cash into the top of my corset. Dear lord⌠All hundreds⌠The female ghoul rubbed my thighs, turning me back around slowly, so as to admire my ass.
âCould we get a room after your number? I think a private dance is in order," she said, in broken Ghoulish. I nodded, and as if on cue, the lights and music began to fade out. As I began to walk back up the stairs to the stage past the Painted Man, his hand darted forward to smack my ass. God, it really is not the night for this shit. My more animalistic nature took over, and before I could stop it, a hiss left my lips. As if of their own accord, my fangs sprung painfully through my gums. I heard a snap, and looked over to see the largest ghoul stand up. He shook his head. Thank god the lights were low. Embarrassed, I covered my mouth, and made my way across the stage.
âWhat the fuck was that all about?â Mike the Mic Guy asked, handing a mic to Cristella. I still had my hand over my mouth. Cristella looked worried.
âAre you okay Mary? I can get you some tea if youâre keyed up." I shook my head.
âPlease get a room ready. The Freak Parade wants a private dance," I said as I walked away, silently cursing myself. Once back in the dressing room, I threw open the mini-fridge I normally kept padlocked. I looked to the last bottle I had left in my stash. Hopefully it hasnât clotted, I thought, throwing the bottle back. This wouldnât end my thirst, but it would certainly quell the burning in my throat. You nearly lost it. You need to bag one of these stupid fucks tonight, or else. I hadnât had a bad case of blood lust in decades, but the combination of winter holidays, my strict schedule, and FOSTA-SESTA had really cut off my food supply.
The door opened, and Cristella came in with a cup of tea. She looked at the flask in her hand and cocked a brow.
âAnd you didnât offer to share. What is that? Cuervo? Henny?â she said, reaching for the flask. I shook my head, and put it back in the fridge, closing the padlock.
âItâs cough syrup. I keep it under lock and key because of that bitch Ronnie. Sheâs not fooling anybody. You ever see how much her hands shake? Too much caffeine? Yeah, right. We all know what the DTs look like." I began changing into a burgundy velvet bra and panty set, pairing it with some burgundy gloves and stockings. Finally, I found a pair of sparkly Loboutins Lydia had left me. My mind rolled back through the streets of Paris to 1991, when Louboutin opened its first salon. Lydia smiled, as I kissed her shin, helping her into the heel. She looked down at me, her eyes full of love, and the corner of her mouth hiding a kiss just for me.
âYeah, she is pretty suspish. What happened with those weirdos out there?â Cristella interrupted my memory. I shook my head. Are you just imagining your heartache?
âOh the big guy was just mad because I didnât get around to him. Thatâs why I wanted you to get the room. Plus, I might be able to secure a nice check from these guys. They all seemed absolutely randy," I said. Cristella shook her head, giggling. The gloss in my hand made a popping noise, as I pulled the wand from the bottle. It was my favorite flavor, watermelon.
âI can ask one of the boys to sit in, to keep them from getting too handsy," Cristella said. I shook my head. It would only keep me from getting too handsy, I thought to myself. Bless her heart. I could never make a kill here. I loved the crew here far too much. Plus, I didnât have a coven. No one to protect me when I fucked up. They kicked me out long ago. Itâs the main reason I ended up in Vegas, avoiding the sun when I could, doing my best to keep a legal and convenient profession. Where else could get a job with only night shifts, and a never-ending supply of useless assholes no one cared about?
âIâll be okay Crissy. Even if they do try something, we have a panic button in there. Donât worry." I gave her a slimy, glossy kiss on the cheek, earning a shriek from her strawberry mouth. She batted at me, narrowly missing me as I bounded out of the room.
As I approached the bigger of our three private rooms, I noticed two of the larger male ghouls standing outside the door. All of the ghouls dressed similarly, including the female ghouls. But I now noticed the alchemical symbols dangling from their belt chains. The shorter one had a quintessence symbol, the other larger one, an earth symbol. The earth one opened the door, and the quintessence one escorted me in.
âThank you, Aether. Back to the door with you. Come, have a seat. Dewdrop says there is more to you than meets the eye. Let me pour you a glass of wine, cara," a thick, Italian accent beckoned to me. I walked to the ottoman in the middle of the room, where I usually found myself during private dances.
âI donât drink during work hours, love. Now, what should I call you?â I looked into the mismatched eyes of the Painted Man.
âYou can call me Papa. Iâm Papa Emeritus, the fourth. My close friends call me Copia, but I suppose we are not quite there yet, sĂ?â he said, leaning forward to take my chin in his hand. I nodded.
âWhile I would love to marvel at your undoubtedly exquisite body, There is some business we should take care of first, piccolina. Do you like Type O Negative?â Cue the record scratching. The dreamy look I normally adopt when with my clients evaporated.
âExcuse me?â I whispered. Papa laughed.
âThe band, cara. I was going to have you dance for me later. However, you must have a preference."
âI really donât understand what you mean," I whispered. Papa laughed again, a big booming laugh.
âI know your secret cara. The ghouls told me. One of my predecessors, Papa Nihil, told me if I were to ever come across your kind, I should try to win your allegiance. Your kind have interesting abilities, specifically the power of influence." Of course thatâs what heâs after.
âI donât do that," I said, looking down to avoid his gaze. Papa tsked.
âI think you will. The ghouls say you smell lonely. Where is your famiglia?â He asked. I shook my head. Lydiaâs pained screams echoed in my ears, our last moment together wrenching my heart out of my chest decades later.
âWe split because of artistic differences," I said softly. Dewdrop and his companions giggled behind me.
âForcing people to allow you to exsanguinate them for sport is not âartistic differences,ââ Dewdrop hissed. The other ghouls laughed. Papa shook his head, and raised a hand to silence them.
âNow now, Dewdrop. It is hard to control oneâs basic nature. SĂ, tesoro? Tell me, how long has it been since your last drink?â He looked at me with concern. I couldnât meet his eyes. I knew what he saw. Weak, pathetic, useless⌠The words were like a disgusting mantra, swirling through my mind, angry and acidic.
âWeeks⌠Itâs been weeks," I whispered. He tsked again. I heard the ghouls chatter amongst themselves. Their pity made me feel disgusting, like a child with sweaty, clammy hands, and odorous armpits.
âWhat if I told you I could offer you a job and a home? A home where you wouldnât have to hide your nature. A home where youâd never go hungry again?â I looked up at him.
âWhat kind of job?â I asked. The ghouls laughed again. Papa shot them a glare.
âI would make use of your gifts occasionally. Nobody would get hurt. You would warm my bed whenever I asked. Maybe pick up a trade or two once back with the Clergy. And in turn, you would get protection, and all the blood you could ever need," he said. I finally mustered the courage to look him in the eyes. What do you have to lose? Besides, youâve done infinitely worse things.
âYou swear on your life, nobody will get hurt? Not a single person?â I asked. Papa nodded.
âIâll do it. Iâll also require a salary as well," I said, extending my hand. Papa nodded, taking my hand in both of his.
âAnything you need, cara. But first, I think you need a drink. And then we will get the night I paid for," he said. He waved his hand towards the door, which the shorter female ghoul scurried to open. I noticed she sported a pocket chain with an air symbol.
âBring in one of the more rosy siblings, Cumulus. I suspect our new friend will need the sustenance before we get too far into our plans for the night," Cumulus nodded, and shut the door behind her. Papa stood up, and began removing his suit jacket and gloves; rolling up his sleeves. I could see his blue veins pulsating, causing me to become aroused in a way I cannot quite explain. Involuntarily, my pussy throbbed, and my mouth watered.
âNow now, little one. Be patient. Your drink will be here soon enough. But for now, you will seal our little deal with a kiss, so to speak. On your knees," Papa ordered, gesturing to the floor. I slipped from the ottoman to the floor, crawling on all fours to him. His breath hitched as I slid my hands up his thighs. I didnât break eye contact as I unbuckled his trousers, nor when I reached into his pants to pull out his sizeable cock.
The door opened, and I heard mumbles, as well as a struggle, and a thud. Of course, both my hands and mouth were preoccupied. I watched Papa intently as I sucked him off. His eyes were rolled back, his mouth slack, and his hands threaded into his hair, as he let out an ungodly moan. I kitten licked his frenulum, stroking his shaft, earning another moan. He bucked his hips into my throat. Sit still, I whispered in the back of my mind. Papa grabbed my hair, and pulled me off his cock.
âNever again, my little bat. Continue," he said, grabbing either side of my face as he began to fuck my throat rigourously. Someone behind me cleared their throat. I wasnât able to look up, due to my current predicament.
âCanât you see Iâm busy, Cirrus? What is it?â Papa let out a grunt, as his cock twitched in my mouth. I began to fellate him with my hands, wrenching more breathy sighs and groans from him. Within seconds, his warm seed was flooding my throat. I heard Dewdrop cheer, and then a slap, which I assumed was a high five. Papa rolled his eyes and smiled, as I dabbed away the bit of cum that had spilled over my bottom lip.
âJust in time. I needed something to wash down all that salt," I stood, and walked over to the person Cumulus and Cirrus stood in front of. It looked like a plumper woman. She was wearing what looked like a nunâs habit, her red ringlets spilling out from under her wimple.
âAll for you cara. Come find me when you have finished your meal," Papa walked out, which left me with the ghouls and my prey. Dewdrop, and the other male ghoul, who sported a water symbol, helped the little nun onto the couch.
âYouâre going to let me fuck that tight ass later, right? Nearly busted watching you and Copia earlier," Dewdrop said to me, softly enough for just me to hear. I giggled and nodded, batting him away after he began nibbling on my neck. He patted my ass, and began to pull the wimple from the nunâs head.
âIâve got this. Why donât you and the rest of the ghouls get started? Iâll be done pretty quickly." Dewdrop nodded.
âCâmon, Rainy. Come play with my cock, while we watch Mary drink," The water ghoul nodded, grabbing Dewdropâs hand. I turned my attention back to the nun. She began to stir. I pushed back her hair.
âThis is going to hurt a little bit. But I will make this quick and painless. You deserve an easy death." The nun, barely awake, nodded, and turned her head. I cradled her head, and brought her throat to my mouth. With a final kiss to her soft, peachy flesh, I sank my teeth into her throat, not letting a single drop of her blood go to waste.
It felt like drinking water after being stuck in a desert for a week. Her blood was sweet, clean, and thick, and it quenched my thirst quickly. Her body began to go limp in my arms, and her skin turned cold. Itâs still not enough. I had to force myself to stop. Never drink the last drop. It might just be the last thing you do, my old mentorâs voice reminded me. I let the little nun drop back to the couch, and turned to face the ghouls. Cirrus sat with Cumulus, each with a hand in the otherâs pants. Rain was bobbing his head up and down slowly, as Dewdrop played with his hair. Dewdrop looked up at me.
âHot," he said. Cirrus nodded, and refocused her attention on Cumulus. Rain moaned, causing Dewdrop to hiss. I looked at them all, lust clouding my gaze.
âMake room. Itâs my turn," I said. Dewdrop pulled my mouth to his, not fazed one bit by the blood coating my lips. Cirrus began to explore the space between my thighs with her long, gorgeous fingers. Rain held my hair, kissing and nipping at my neck. A girl really could get used to this...
Hours later, after all of the ghouls had had their turn, even the two from the door, I was back in the dressing room. I opened the envelope the earth ghoul, Mountain, had handed me on the way out. My eyes grew like saucers as I counted the money inside. I had only expected eight grand; two hours, eight clients, multiplied by $500. But as I counted, I realized I had 15 grand in my hands. The door opened, breaking my wealth-induced trance. It was Papa.
âIf you would really like the job, come to this address in two weeks. Bring only what you must. Put everything else in storage," he said, handing me a card. I was confused.
âWhy two weeks?â I asked. Papa smiled.
âBecause itâs polite, cara. Donât forget your letter of resignation."

Companions react to Danse stepping out of power armor for the first time!
Cait:Â
She would look Danse up and down very obviously and grin which would make him extremely uncomfortable.Â
âYaâoutgha get out of that thing more often Dansey. Who knew there were cookies in that tin can of yours.â
She obviously isnât actually interested in Danse. Way too boring. But sheâs not one to toss out eye candy just cause it isnât her favorite flavor. She wouldnât actively follow him but for fun and also to get on his nerves she would definitely cat-call him everytime he was in hearing range. Deacon and Hancock might join in for a few comments if they donât have anything better to do.
She would not stop unless sole made a convincing plea or reason for why she should and maybe not even then.
Danse would not respond or look at Cait but he would be very red and never get out of his suit in front of her again.
Codsworth:Â
âWhy Paladin Danse I dare say youâve been keeping up your workout routine! Cheers to your excellent health whether in or out of your power armor!â Codsworth is reassured that his owner is traveling with someone so equipped for the struggles of the wasteland.
âUh, thank you, Codsworth.â Danse would feel a bit awkward but he would appreciate the compliment.Â
âMight I polish that for you while you're otherwise engaged? It seems to be in a just dreadful state and I would like nothing more than for you to be looking your best in your wasteland escapades!â Though he is reassured by Danseâs physical state and abilities, he is mortified by the state his armor is in. All the scratches, dings, and dirt? Itâs just horrible. Codsworth has always wanted an opportunity to fix that suit up and is pretty happy that the day has finally arrived.
âI- If youâd like to you can.â
âOh good! I do so love a difficult task!â With that Codsworth would zoom away to procure the necessary supplies to return Danseâs armor to itâs original state. Danse didnât really know whether or not he should be offended at the robotâs comments but he decided to just continue about his business and not think about it too much.Â
Curie:
âOh Monsieur Danse, you are quite zee lovely specimen! I would be eager to do a physical examination if you would allow me to.â Ever since leaving the vault, Curie has been astounded at how many different sorts of humans there are. Danse is particularly interesting to her because of the amazing athletic feats he does so regularly. She is also interested in studying the effects of constant power armor usage on the human body. When she sees him step out of his suit for the first time and sees his overly muscular physique, it just tacks on another reason she wants to study him.Â
Before Blind Betrayal:
âThe only specimen that needs examining is you, synth. Donât talk to me unless youâre submitting yourself to the Brotherhood.â The only reason Curie isnât already on the Prydwen is because Sole thinks itâs their friend. It bothers Danse immensely that Sole hasnât destroyed or used this inhuman thing already.
(Donât get mad at me he literally says this in game.)
Curie is very hurt, she expected this reaction but it still hurt. She was still getting used to feelings such as the pained ones she felt in moments like these.
After Blind Betrayal:
âNo. Thank you.â Danseâs words were strained. Being around Curie was pretty awful for him. He had treated her so terribly before and he still had strong feelings of disgust towards her despite what he knows now. Everytime he sees her and has those feelings of hate and disgust, he remembers that he and Curie are the same. Heâs still struggling to overcome the years of propaganda that were drilled into him.Â
Curie is disappointed. Did Danse not see they are the same? If he didnât believe in her humanity then he would have to not believe in his own. It is very confusing for Curie. She hopes that he will eventually go back on his denial of her offer. He would be a very interesting specimen.
Deacon:
He would be surprised that Danse would be able to wear that clunky thing so much in the first place. He wouldnât be surprised at how muscular he is under the suit though. It takes a lot of strength to operate those suits. Heâd read that before they were fully developed, a lot of trial runs had resulted in really terrible accidents. The kind of accidents that crush all of your bones at once or remove your top half from your bottom.
Deacon would definitely make a few jokes. âHey the sardineâs outta the can!â âIsnât getting out of that bulldozer against Brotherhood policy or something?â âAnd I thought it was glued on! Learn something new everyday.â
Danse would scowl at his comments but say nothing. He did not like Deacon one bit. That manâs hiding something and if it turns out what heâs hiding will harm Sole or the Brotherhoodâs mission, there was gonna be hell to pay. Danse couldâve sworn heâd seen him on the Prydwen a few times but whenever he looked back again to check, he was gone. Danse didnât much like the idea of leaving his power armor alone with Deacon around but Sole assured him heâs harmless. Weâll see...
Whenever Danse returned to his suit Deacon would stand suspiciously close to it and act like he was trying to play cool after almost being caught doing something nefarious. He would never get tired of watching Danse carefully inspect every part of the armor before apprehensively getting in. Man that guyâs fun to mess with.
Dogmeat:Â
He was so surprised! He thought this human was just made of metal! But now Dogmeat can play and jump and lick! Yes!!
Danse has no idea how to deal with a dog he wasnât allowed to kick so he would just try to awkwardly push the pup off until Sole took care of it.
Hancock:Â
Oh HELL YES! Hancock has wanted to punch this fucker since he first laid eyes on him. âHEY SOLDIER BOY, TIME TO SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO OUT OF YOUR DAMN COWARD COFFIN!â He would make a beeline towards the paladin and the paladin would speed walk towards the ghoul as well. Sole barely let him insult the damn freak but this was a direct attack of which he was most definitely gonna defend himself from.
Sole would freak out a bit and try to get in between the two. They would both try to get Sole out of the way so they could pummel each other. A brief alliance in order to facilitate their battle. This was too sweet of an opportunity to miss.Â
âSorry Sunshine, this is happening.â
âSole, it has directly started an altercation with me and I intend to see it through.â
If they both had a great relationship with Sole after a bit of panicked begging to both parties, the men would begrudgingly back off. They would, however, insult each other viciously despite Soleâs protests.Â
âYou have no fucking idea how lucky you are meathead. I swear to god if they werenât hereâŚâ
âYou call me a meathead but youâre the one whoâs rotting, ghoul.â
They would continue to jab each other until Sole dragged Danse off to do what he got out of his suit to do in the first place.Â
If one or both of them didnât have a close relationship with Sole, well, it wouldnât be pretty. They would forcibly move Sole out of the way and fight for a while. Though Danse is much bigger than Hancock, Hancock is quicker and better at hand to hand. Danse, being unused to fighting outside of his armor, was ultimately unable to beat the ghoul. Hancock landed one final blow to his face, knocking Danse flat. When he stayed down Hancock laughed loudly and spit at him.
âDone in by the best, lucky you.â It would be a huge blow to Danseâs ego and heâd resent Hancock even more now. Hancock would gloat constantly when Danse was around. âHeyyy, thereâs my favorite punching bag!â âCome on over Dansey I wonât bite!â He wouldnât out of shame, but if Danse ever did try to retort, Hancock would just taunt him. Saying something like âOh yeah? Ya know my favorite way to settle conflicts is by beating the other asshole into the dirt. Hop outta that suit and we can go for round two.â
MacCready:
Macâs always thought of Danse as an annoying asshole. He still thinks of him this way but when he stepped out of that armor for the first time. Ho lee sh-crap. MacCready might have to look into joining the Brotherhood if the rest of those guys looked the same as Danse. He had expected him to be strong cause of the whole carrying 500 pounds of steel everywhere but his body was something Mac was not expecting and something he could look at for a while.Â
If Danse came near the merc he would probably clam up and blush a bit. If Danse caught him staring, he would annoyedly ask, âIs there a problem, civilian?â
âI- uh no.â any other day he wouldâve fired back some snide remark but he couldnât quite seem to think of one right now.Â
Nick:
Nick really couldnât give less of a damn. He hated Danse, Danse hated him, and the two did their best to ignore each other.Â
Piper: Piper didnât really care either. Sure he was muscular but she was very turned off by the everything else about him. All she really payed attention to was the possibility of an exclusive interview or an inside look at the Brotherhoodâs workings. Danse would never agree to either of those though. Preston: Preston didnât care. He already knew you had to be strong to wear power armor especially if you wore them as much as Brotherhood Paladins did. He didnât like the Brotherhood and by extension, he didnât trust Danse. Preston was mannerly of course, for Sole, but he knows Danse thinks very little of the Minutemen so he didnât try too hard to be kind. Strong: Strong thinks this is good time to smash strong human. He has killed many brothers but he wears metal suit. He is weak without metal suit. Human friend tells Strong that if Strong smash, Strong will not find milk of human kindness. Strong angry, Strong want to smash, but Strong not smash.
Danse would never get out of his suit near Strong unless he absolutely had to. Sole insisted that the abomination wasnât going to be a problem but he didnât believe it for a second. It took all of his willpower to not open fire on the thing whenever he saw it. Sole has poor taste in companions...
X6:
X6 wouldnât care. He would consider taking this opportunity to get rid of the high ranking Brotherhood soldier, but it would make Sole upset and would do relatively little to the Brotherhood as a whole.Â
Ask and ye shall recieve! I decide the winner on Hancockâs one by their special stats. How the hell does Hancock have such good stats and heâs still terrible in a fight??
