i love think tank honestly i think he would have been better than a one-episode arch like his design? first of all is so fun. love his hover chair! love having another huge-head character (i wonder if billy knows of him at all). he such an emotive guy

he seems to really love teaching his non-interested students, and it's honestly very sweet imo how he reaches out to dean and suggests he avoid the tower during the time of his father's arch, and i mean you could interpret it as him saving his own reputation, but i think it's because he doesn't wish for dean to be harmed. and its funny and genuine to me the way he says to dean the essay is shit but he is one of the best students of the semester. ik when i went from home school to real school i struggled hard at first with writing papers, so i wonder if dean is the same like he's enjoying the class and is kind of grasping the concepts but he is plagiarizing by accident and has lots of run-on sentences (like this one). but it's sweet that nidaba still calls dean "one of the brightest" (even if you interpret this to be buttering up which i do not)

and he seems to be a moriarty without a sherlock from this little scene where he deducts dean's home life from different clues. i like that he says "i interpret the data" because that's much less wishy-washy then bbc sherlock. he's so handsome here genuinely

and his nietzsche quote "all great things must first wear terrifying and monstrous masks in order to inscribe themselves on the hearts of humanity." honestly is so relavent to the show and the way he is so exasperated no one knew that. professor dr. nidaba, i swear you just need a tumblr girlie in your class.

his first encounter with water is with peele who tries to get him on a boat for what farfa says is a verrrrryyyy important verrrryy big boy mission for him (literally just chopping down wood from trees). he sees the ocean and is just like yeah nope and makes a run for it.

he won’t ever admit it bc he’s SAPNAP pfft he’s not afraid of water who do u think he is??? cue to him screaming and clinging onto shadoune like a koala when shadoune tries to have a little swimming lesson with him. he even has little floaties on his arms but babynap is NOT entertaining it. screeches of “PUTO SHADOUNE” can be heard even from sylvees base.

i think team mafia would find it funny at first, he deffo gets teased by spreen and cris about it but then one night he wakes them up with tears in his eyes bc there’s a thunderstorm and his little baby brain doesn’t understand why it’s so loud and there’s so much rain everywhere :(((

maybe that’s when they decide to add lava in their base, just like they did irl when their main base was on the ground and sapnap wanted to decorate it by adding lava. except this time they do it for babynap bc it reminds him of the nether and the heat and sound of the crackling lava drowns out the rain just enough for babynap to fall asleep in their cuddle pile :(

from then on they spend every thunderstorm together until he’s left alone with no one to hold him when there’s a storm

I was TERRIFIED taking swimming classes as a kid (I mustve been like 6 yrs old) so I understand this too well. I wouldn't even let my toes touch the water....I was a crying mess it was so awful

The poor baby seeing water for the first time and it's kind freaked out cause....it's just nothing like he's seen before. It almost looks like the sky? But the surreal panic he feels as peele is bringing him closer to it. It's so overwhelming for this baby. Refusing and crying and running away with a frantic peele trying to catch up!!!

Cut to Shadoune trying to get him to in a 2x2 tiny water pool, just to get him used to touching the water. He's got every swim floaty available on him. But he's just SCREECHING. He is NOT going in. (Why did they teach him all those curse words?????)

One of the members will occasionally need a glass bottle full of water and they'll just wet their hands and flick water at sapnao which constantly freaks him out, he hates it >:'( why are they so mean!!!

And then it's raining. Then it's /loud/. And they have a crying baby in their hands. He's so terrified he can't even scream, just the smallest whimpers and sobs. He's never looked smaller. He's not a loud annoying lil gremlin at this moment, just a scared tiny baby. He's clinging to whoever scooped him up first as the rest of them are discussing how to solve it. Cause this isn't the Sapnal they know they're not gonna have the stupid thunderstorm scare their tiny baby warrior!!

Once the lava is put down and Sapnap hears such familiar crackles and pops, it's a complete 180 for him. He's so soothed by it. He's exhausted, but does grabby hands towards the lava. It's shallow, but they don't trust the baby falling asleep in the tiny puddle of lava and accidently inhaling it...so one of them will drink a fire resistance potion and get settled in it. They'll hold the baby close as he falls asleep close to the familiar and cozy lava. He's out basically instantly. Soft and cozy dreams.

(The baby will try to sleep in lava all the time once they're gone. He wants the soft and cozy dreams. Because they're always there, all together again. Anything to be together again.)

Barnabas stares at you, brows furrowed as he studies you. There is something strange about you, something so familiar that he can’t place his finger on it. He slowly moved toward you, a clawed finger pointing at you, and your eyes looked up at him with innocence. “What? Have I done something wrong?” You ask, feeling disappointed that you seemed to already upset the older man in the short time you’ve been here. You’ve noticed that he keeps staring at you, possibly judging your appearance. 

“You. You’re a vampire. How?” He glares, circling you as he takes in your paleness and features that are similar to his. He watches you pout and look at him, confused.

“I’m not a… Vampire?” 

“Do not lie to me, child.” He growls, straightening his back as he stares down at you. “Your paleness, your claws and the fangs prodding your bottom lip. Show me that you are, in fact, a vampire.” You shake your head, feeling your mind become fuzzy as you can’t believe what you hear. “If you do not believe me, go into the sun.” 

You look at him, confused, a brow raised as you wonder why the sun. “How would going into the sun prove that what you are saying is true?” 

“When vampires go into the sun, they set on fire. So, go.” Barnabas shoos you, pushing you softly to the curtains. You carefully move it, and the moment the sun hits your flesh, it sizzles before setting aflame. “Ah, huh! I knew it!” You jump back from the sun with a scream, staring at your charred hand in confusion. “Now tell me, how did you become a vampire? Did you steal my blood?!” 

You look between him and your hand before shaking your head. “I–I don’t know… All I remember is that I was being chased through the woods by something… I felt terrified. It was huge and scary… I remember my flesh being clawed into and ripped apart, and I remember lying there, feeling myself bleed out as I was left for dead… There was someone….” You sit as you continue. “I remember waking, blinded by a bright light, and I was hooked to something. But before I could investigate, I fell asleep, too exhausted to keep my eyes open. Which, I guess, brings me to now. I woke, and I looked different and felt different.” 

Barnabas rolls his eyes, “Must’ve been that darn therapist. She has a knack for stealing my blood to try something.” He stares at you again, “I guess I can help you.”

It can ultimately be considered karma though. Nobody was around to save him either. Financier saw to it that clotted cream made it out safely. It was the last he saw of her so her fate was left ambiguous. In the end, the republic collapsing was probably a mercy to everyone who survived

do you ever like think about how terrifying mephones plan for a season 4 would have been to cabby specifically? out of all of the final 3 she has been hurt by the game the most (with no closure mind you unlike balloon), i think having to go through everything again would genuinely break her. even if shes less misunderstood the game still puts pressure onto her to be a facts machine, a strategist. when shes literally the kindest person ever, trying to comfort silver (despite his constant mistreatment of her), and sacrificing almost every post merge challenge for the sake of somebody else (i.e giving up her inani-mate for yinyang, sacrificing herself in episode 13 to put herself on the line with yinyang even if she was manipulating them out of obligation, AND EPISODE 15 SHE DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE WON IF SHE HAD USED HER FILES and completely foiling blueberrys plan, but she didnt because she cared about bot)

in the episode when shes reading the file, the screen actually starts shaking a little. implying she was absolutely horrified at what she was reading. and she had every single right, especially considering what shes gone through.

the other thing that’s absolutely insane to me is the fact that this information was conveyed to her via a file. aka her disability aid, something she relies on. that mustve been horrifying to see something so person to her used against her in such a way.

😭 I was for real thinking about that earlier today like hasn’t she been through enough… Yes Cabby is a very competitive person but after everything that happened to her in this season and the fact that she’s Still in a vulnerable place right now I don’t think she would find it particularly enjoyable to not receive a prize and then immediately be thrust into a new season of competition— and as a team leader, no less.

Test Tube thanking her for apologising was,,, weird to me. I literally rolled my eyes. It gave me the impression that she (and Paintbrush) think Cabby *should* be apologising to everyone for making some of them uncomfortable? And I just don’t agree. As polite as it is, I think it’s way overstating her actions. Like… why is it “right” to apologise to the entire jury for her past behaviour making “some of them uncomfortable” pre episode 7 when she had never even worked with half of them when said behaviour was supposedly occurring? It’s so frustrating to me, like… how much smaller does she have to make herself for them to be satisfied? I don’t get it.

And of course, “making them uncomfortable” thing again comes back to her files. It’s basically impossible for her not to internalise the idea that keeping information is bad because she Might get things wrong (which. Is another thing. As far as we’ve seen, her writing is almost always correct, barring Bot which is an obvious outlier, and erroneously attributing Suitcase turning on her alliance in season 2 to Balloon’s manipulation.) In episode 15 too, aka the worst Test Tube episode to me, she says Cabby thinks everyone is just “what she happened to write down” as if Cabby is careless and doesn’t do her due diligence when writing her files. Which to me directly contradicts her calling Cabby’s Fan file “impeccable” and having “so many notes” back in episode 2?

And as for Test Tube’s assertion that Cabby would turn on her the moment she stopped being useful, and that she treated everyone like chess pieces on her little board, it really felt like her jumping to conclusions because of what happened with Fan. Because she has done that to no other member of the Pinkers. And there is way less manipulation on Cabby’s part in the show than Test Tube’s irritation would have it seem.

I’m not sure if the writers intentions were to make Cabby as manipulative as Silver from the beginning, but if it was and that’s why this is all going on, well. Mission status isn’t exactly a success to me— the only manipulation she does is in episode 2, when she tries to get Bot to vote out Fan (and presumably the rest of the team as well), and episode 7, where she makes a big show of approaching Silver about how it would be better for him to stack the ice cream because, knowing him to be lazy and careless, it would increase the odds of him screwing up the challenge and make it easier to vote him out.

I’m at least relieved that Test Tube seems to have been thinking about things whenever Cabby says something self-effacing or seems to be nice, because it gives me hope that she may finally realise she’s been taking it too far and maybe Cabby will get an apology, but the fact that she’s been just sitting on it for like 3 episodes by now is killing me,

i'm disconnected enough from mainstream fandom that i actually have no idea which characters are unpopular to them... i think amelia is pretty widely hated but i like her well enough especially as an arc for sam. i liked michael in s15 (and not a second before). him and adam's relationship was really fascinating they shouldve done more with it.

as for within my mutuals/samblr.... i honestly have no idea. i love the leviathans in s7 because i just think theyre fun but does that count as an unpopular character? sadly i am a hater to my core and there are far more popular characters i dislike a little....

Augustine ran to her room asking her what's wrong, worried as fuck, then she pulls him close, hugging him, terrified he'd suddenly disappear, her hands were trembling as she's going on how she'll make sure nothing happens to him and to everyone. Like, mfer is so confused but he's like really trying to calm her down. Imagine how paranoid she'd be, always having one of her mons (yes ofc its Gengar bc I still love this hc) watch over Augustine in Lumiose, making sure Lysandre doesn't get near him, and even spy on Lysandre. Then when she gets to the League she even tries to confront Malva abt it, and ofc that kinda shocked everyone and even Malva bc holy shit they haven't seen Diantha this pissed and terrified. Like, her hands are legit shaking, grabbing Malva by her shoulders, glaring at her, it got to the point Diantha ended up calling her Tyrantrum, the imposing dragon fossil glaring down at everyone. Malva eventually fesses up, she knows damn well Diantha's too pissed to mess w, and despite her always wanting to spite Diantha, she knows if she did rn she'll be the one dying bc she knows the lengths Diantha will go through to make things right.

And god just chdmdb Diantha explaining to them what her dream was, that she was so goddamn sure it was a premonition, and the others were sceptical at first but then again, she managed to find out abt Malva being part of Flare bc of that dream, even told them of Lysandre's plans and him being the head of Flare, and Diantha's starting to spiral again Drasna had to calm her down.

Then ofc, Dia calls in the other Champions, said it was an emergency, and y'know, they came as soon as the call ended bc Dia honestly sounded like she's abt to experience her fifth meltdown for the day and it's only 10 in the am, tbf she is on her fourth meltdown for the day—

When the others got there, Diantha is trying so so hard to calm herself bc Jesus Christ homegirl did not eat anything today bc she was hurrying to the league in a panic and that dream still continues to haunt her, so yeah she's like, at her limit

So she's there, taking deep breaths, and then looks at the other Champions, telling her of the dream, of the premonition she had. And ofc some of them couldn't believe her, especially w how detailed she is abt their deaths and the events that's gonna happen, but like, y'know, even Leon himself said that Rose really acting suspicious lately, even more so than usual, he's been more demanding, more isolated, as if he's planning smth. And ofc, that kinda surprised the other Champions too bc Leon and Diantha don't even get along well, they don't even agree on almost everything, but w Leon showing that he actually believes in what Diantha is saying is enough for the other sceptics to actually believe her, and they should start planning on what to do now bc if not then they're all gonna die

🌫️ how does this character feel about lying? Oh they feel bad about it, it generally feels like a failure to have to lie, theyll always find a way to spin it around into 'i wouldnt have to be lying if i was doing a better job right now' but they definitely DO lie, and quite a lot! in fact a lot of their life right now is built on some Big Fucking Lies that he's terrified will get out soon.

Some small lies they have told:

"oh my boss present mic? he's fine, of course he will be on time to do the speech, he just stepped outside the venue to take a call"

(in reality mic is So Ill from overdoing it and game shark feels guilty for not controlling him at the party but WILL manage to get him on stage just in time)

"i took a poll amongst the staff to make sure the break room was full of foods everyone likes <3" (in reality half of them are foods no one likes-- including him-- because if no one ever takes them he can just eat all his meals at work and have them all be free)

generalized social anxiety, nothing else can really compare. He is able to push past it for other people (he makes SO MANY calls related to Present Mic and his agency, organizing other peoples business) but if he had to call for anything for himself he'd be jsut petrified

He got second place in the last year of his school and was SO RELIEVED he didnt have to give the farewell adress that he cried. He also almost never says a single audible word on Mics radio show, despite him being fully in control of the engineering aspect of it

He actually has a somewhat normal face, that Snouty look just shows up when he's anxious, and my little dude is stressed/anxious/worried about something ALL the time.
