Steve had been clinging to your side like a baby duck the entire night, never wandering farther than arm's length. A warm hand on the small of your back as you made your way through the crowded frat house, a warm lap to sit on when your feet started aching and the ugly leather couch started calling your name.

“You don’t have to babysit tonight,” you murmured after you sat down in the , pressing a soft kiss on his jaw.

“I know,” he replied. His hand was warm on your inner thigh, protective and comfortable. His thumb rubbed soothing circles on the plush skin as he looked at you. “I trust you, I just don’t trust these college guys.”

“You’re so adorable when you’re all protective,” you teased, poking his side. “Are you even having a little fun?” His guilty expression and lack of response said all you needed to know.

You stood and pulled him off the couch with a scheming grin. “We’re going to go slam a beer, and then you’re going to dance with me to whatever shitty music they have playing. Then we’re going to try the jungle juice, dance a little more, and after that we’ll bail and go make out in your car.” You raised a brow. “Any questions?”

“No questions. But you’re really sexy when you boss me around,” he said, leaning down to place a chaste kiss on your lips. You grinned at his words and guided him through the packed house to find the nearest cooler.

Things were going pretty well until your first cup of jungle juice. There was definitely some sort of mixer there, but, by taste alone, you would’ve guessed it was just food coloring to turn all the liquor red.

“We’re gonna have to call Robin to drive us home,” Steve shouted over the music as he downed the last swill in his red solo cup. You nodded and poured a little more in your cup, which you easily chugged down.

You wiped your mouth with the back of your hand and stood on tiptoes to press a messy kiss to Steve’s lips. As soon as you pulled away, a smile spread across your lips. “Let’s go dance! I love this song!”

Despite the crowd, you managed to pull him through the crowd on clumsy footing. Everyone was in similar states of carefree and giddy drunkenness, so no one really cared if you bumped into them. You guided him until you were practically back to back with the sound system and started dancing.

You really didn’t love this song. You didn’t even think you’d heard it before. But there was a good beat, and Steve’s hands were warm on your exposed skin, pulling your back right against him.

He was planting clumsy kisses along your jaw and throat as he held you tight, letting you move and sway against him. You relished in the feeling of his fingertips toying with the hem of your shirt just itching to slip beneath.

Your hands settled atop his, guiding them to your hips as you moved. You spared a glance back and felt your heart flutter at the sight of him— hair plastered to his forehead, cheeks flushed.

A few songs later, his hands were back under your shirt and you were itching to escape the crowd. Which is how you wound up down the block in the backseat of the Beamer.

Warm hands splayed across your ass as you straddled his lap, lips barely leaving his except for very necessary gasps for breath. He tasted like jungle juice, but you didn’t care.

“See?” You gasped between kisses. He held you firm on his lap, guiding you as you ground against him. “Told you that we needed to get out for once.”

“Mhmm.” He nodded, chasing your lips, tongue licking into your mouth with a needy desperation. Occasionally, passing cars would light up the interior, but you were both too drunk on each other to care.

Distantly, you could hear the bass shaking the frat house off the foundations, and cheers as someone broke the keg stand record for the night. But after a while, the sounds of Steve’s lips smacking against yours, and soft moans slipping past his lips when you moved against him took over your entire brain.

It could’ve been fifteen minutes or an hour. Time got a little fuzzy when you both got drunk and touchy. His hands were so tight on your hips that it might have actually left bruises, which would’ve been a problem for tomorrow.

You had only just started toying with his hair when he pulled back from the kiss with a muffled whimper, panting softly.

“Did I pull your hair too hard?” You asked sheepishly, giving his scalp a soothing scratch.

“No! No it felt nice,” he insisted. His cheeks were a burning pink, which matched his kiss-swollen lips. You leaned in and gave one chaste kiss, before leaning in to start up the make-out session again. You rolled your hips against his briefly before he grabbed your hips in his hands, keeping them still. “Can we just take a… I dunno… five minute breather?”

You raised a brow and moved your hands between the two of you, only to find a wet patch on his jeans. You bit your lip in an attempt to hide your grin, but it was too late. “Aww… you came from a bit of kissing?” His cheeks flushed impossibly deeper, as you pecked kisses along his cheek. “That is… surprisingly sexy.”

“It’s so not my fault,” he insisted, practically pouting until your words registered. “Wait— it is?”

“Mhmm…” You replied as you began stroking him teasingly over his denim. “Actually… I kind of want to make you do it again.”

So as I was reading chapter 14 in the scene "A snake-like form." It got me thinking on the mer boy's anatomy yet again😅 how tough are the boys? Like their scales I mean because they kinda remind me of armored porgy's from totk & botw🤔 And you've shown it throughout the fic that Meryn's weapons don't really hurt them but they can harm each other.(i.e. when Sun & Moon got into their little fight & Meryn herself didn't even really hurt Sun he said so himself in ch 12) So it makes me think Meryn must have some horse legs to be able to leave bruises on Sun's body😀🐎 then it got me about Eclipse again because if the boys are already pretty tough to begin with how tough is he? I'm probably reading to much into it but I just love the structural build-up you do with the interactions with the mer boys and little hints you do on how neat their anatomy is it's all just so neato and I absolutely love it and I eat it up every time.😍

cool! i haven't played botw or totk so that was fun to look up, btw apologies if there's armoured porgy-related context i'm missing. all mers are pretty tough bc of their scaled skin, and Eclipse even more so as he's so large, the thickness of his skin would increase with his size. Eclipse is pretty much impervious to any harm a human could do alone

a regular sized mermaid like Sun or Moon wouldn't be harmed by scratching with your nails at full force, but something like a knife could pierce through if used with a great deal of strength. let's not stab them tho :( areas like their fins are more delicate than their skin as fins are softer and thinner, and their gills are a massive weak zone. Sun's facial fins are sensitive and so are Moon's, although the bulb of his esca doesn't have much sensation. Eclipse evolved stiffer facial fins that aren't as weak or sensitive

HP Rec Fest, Day 16

Full disclosure: I don’t really read crack fic very often but the ones I’ve loved left a big, lasting impression on me so choosing recs for today’s @hprecfest was the easiest thing ever! I’ve def mentioned both fics before but I still consider them lowkey hidden gems so I’m taking every opportunity to give them a shoutout again. If you haven’t come across these before run don’t walk! I guarantee they will make you feel light and cheerful after a rough day. I love finding joy and comfort in fics that make me laugh, they make me remember why I love these two sassy idiots so much. A massive thank you to both authors who I admire so much especially when it comes to their brand of humour - it’s right up my alley and never fails to make my day better. one of my top favourite feel-good fics, this is absolutely hilarious and so very charming! flux is the epistolary queen and I’ve had sooo much fun with the porn identity element here. their voices are spot on, the relentless banter is just hysterical and the slow burn is so surprisingly sweet I had a huge smile on my face the entire time. this story leaves you giddy and full of joy, the jokes and mutual pining and the whole crew coming together as chaotic Drarry supporters is 👨‍🍳💋 epistolary can be tricky but flux nailed it in an effortlessly light and organic way.

sardines will always be an iconic fic for me, it’s a shame it’s still underrated because it’s not only hilarious - it’s also hot af and a brilliant piece of writing overall, clever and genuinely endearing. idk how shifty was able to create this unique atmosphere, light and playful, carefully toeing the line between what’s appropriate and inappropriate brotherly teasing between four walls 🌝 the dialogue and characterization are top notch as always: James being a little shit, Albus pure confusion and horny exasperation, while Teddy and Scorp are simply indulging their better half and going for the ride as the disasters they are 🤣 truly impressive work with sexy, fun and sweet dynamics all around!

ugh haha now this question is pure evil. Surprise tickles give more of a shock factor and act more on reflexes while expected tickles build anticipation and let the mind build up hype. So they are both bad as in good in their own way. But I think expected tickles are more vulnerable and comforting as you can prepare yourself and feel like you’re more in control. Since a surprise tickle can come at a time you don’t want to be tickled🫠

like I said anticipation is key and I think it’s a good way to prepare the mind and body. Since if you tickle right away the mind can dissociate a bit so you’re in a deeper lee mood. I really liked how Miggy told SG at least half of the truth, it would have been so easy to lie. This really shows how he feels about her, that even though he is obsessed with her he does not want to build a relationship of off mistrust.

Tom being just a friend is craaazy, i loved it. Especially because all of us (and Miguel) were so ready to fight that man. (Ngl I still am after that ending)

I’m really excited to see where you’ll take us with the story and the characters!!!

Now, seeing The Scene fleshed out and integrated into the story, I think no one could’ve sone it better. The way SG just nonchalantly brushes Miguel off like: "No it’s okay i just wanted to see it" was peak and better than I imagined.

So, I had an idea about Andy (as usual, this time it is smutty tho) and I wanted to know if you would be willing to do it, so I was thinking of a very angry Dark!Andromache thing (it's weird to think about her as dark, I know, but hear me out) where reader is a new immortal, she has a very bubbly personality and wears cute fluffy clothes (tiny flower skirts and dresses, cloud thigh highs, bows in her hair, flower tiaras, all that adorable thing that makes everyone coo), Andy is the first one to meet her (let's say reader became immortal during the group's apart time) and reader starts to fear Andy because of her murdering talents and all that jazz, Andy doesn't like that one bit something among the lines of "You are like me, you'll become a murderer too" and reader is absolutely terrified, cying and doing her best to run and deny and after some time of stalking and screaming Andy loses her patience and decides to break the stubbornness out of the reader by making her absolutely mind-broken, I saw one of your imagines had dubious consent, that's kind off what I am going for here she takes reader to a place (that will depend on you, you can make it a house or a hotel, or something else entirely, go wild) and starts overstimulating the reader, using her to pleasure herself, once again GO WILD. She makes reader promise and repeat that shes gonna obey Andy and makes her pass out of exhaustion, and when reader wakes up she's all snuggled up and Andy (very manipulatively) reminds her of her promises and reader (being the adorable little thing she is) submits to Andy completely.

What do you think? I know it has a lot of serious stuff on it, so if you don't feel comfortable to write it, it's completely chill, I read your message about how your not in a good place right now and I wanted to tell you that your writing is absolutely amazing, your words are so well placed and every paragraph makes me feel butterflies dance on my stomach, in a summary, your writing is absolutely amazing!!!

📥 What is your fave fic to receive comments/messages on?

This is a loaded question because to out myself here I have 86 stories on AO3 and I love receiving comments/messages on all of them even the really old ones I did. I love when a person discovers something that’s new to them and they get excited about reading something for the first time. When someone really gets into it, it makes me smile and giddy knowing that it made an impact on someone else. So really any comments/messages are nice.

That being said currently stories that make me smile a tiny bit harder recently are: 1. the Scott/Logan fic I wrote called Damaged because it’s a LONG fic I started when I first went into quarantine during the pandemic. I love knowing that people have stuck it out with me all this time on this epic journey and are still with me. It’s a long story so if someone is still reading, then it shows I did something right! 2. Another story that I get giddy on feedback over is the Better Together series I started writing that is a Scott/Tony fic series. It’s something that spawned a life of its own and words cannot express how hard I love seeing people who are curious about the idea of the pairing read it and get excited. It makes me excited to write more! It took me completely by surprise and anyone who enjoys it and lets me know is awesome to hear from!

3. I’m also writing a companion piece where I put Logan/Emma together in the Better Together series called Secret Exchange and this one took me by surprise completely. Because it’s a het ship I don’t anticipate much response from it so when someone reads it and likes it, this one means a lot because I’ll be honest, I didn’t think anyone would take a look. Plus, for those who have I’ve given them little teasers along the way for the Scott/Tony too so its been fun to tie it all together.

Because my readers have waited for a bit, I’ll post two. One from Damaged and one from Better Together.

1. Damaged:

“I heard about Jeanie and Hank,” Logan’s raspy voice whispered above the music through the night, cutting Scott to the core. He felt the light massage over his scalp, stroking the tender skin at the root of his thick, dark hair with gentle ease, “She’s a fool Slim.”

“I’m the fool,” Scott choked on the words, too broken by emotion to reveal himself to Logan after their dirty exchange. Instead, he held onto Logan’s thighs, nestling in further over the hair-dusted muscle with Logan’s fingers caressing the back of his neck, tapering off over his shoulder in a tender brush, “I should’ve known that I’d never be good enough for someone like her.”

“She’s not good enough for you Slim,” Logan sighed tracing his fingers over Scott’s damp skin, keeping them connected with each other behind the dumpster, tucked away from the rest of the world, “She never was.”

“She’s perfect Logan,” Scott revealed with a pained breath, hating himself even more for never measuring up to be the man Jean wanted him to be for so very long.

“No Slim,” Logan’s finger curled underneath Scott’s chin, guiding his glasses covered eyes up to the man he’d recklessly taken out back on a whim, armed with a need to feel something after Jean had shattered his heart. He’d behaved on impulse, knowing that Logan was attracted to him and looking for an intimate exchange between them. It was his way of hurting Jean, of hurting himself, but what he hadn’t planned for was the way that Logan’s slow-moving fingers guided him up off his knees, carefully pressing him against the wall and twisting their positioning so that Logan was gazing down at him with love behind his eyes. His palm caressed the sharp jawline before him, taking the time to trace each line and contour before he dipped in closer to invade Scott’s space, “you’re perfect.”

“No,” Scott shook his head in refusal, dismissing Logan’s claims when his thumb skimmed over Scott’s plump bottom lip, teasing the tiny synapses within in his deliberate touch, “I’m not.”

“Yes,” Logan’s commanding voice grew darker, overrun by a hint of desire when he pushed against Scott’s bottom lip, nudging the space between his lips to widen and invite Logan into the damp warmth that once swallowed down his urgency. With a curve of his finger, Logan’s touch brought tiny impulses carrying over Scott’s body, stealing his grief and rage from within when Logan’s free hand worked over Scott’s belt to open the clasp. For a second Scott’s eyes darted upward, to see the hunger burning behind Logan’s eyes when Logan’s finger fell from his lips. Instead, the damp pad traced over Scott’s cheekbone coaxing Scott closer to where Logan was before him beneath the moonlight. For a long time, they said nothing, simply stood together in stillness, listening to the sounds of AC/DC from within the walls of the bar. Smiling down at Scott, Logan pushed his fingers of one hand down into the front of Scott’s now open pants when the other caressed the lines of his face, “you are to me.”

2. Better Together:

“It’s good to see you Bruce,” Scott’s hoarse voice interrupted Bruce’s explosive response to the news of his awakening. With the color drained from his face, Scott attempted to detangle himself from Tony’s loving arms and tried to pull himself up on the bed, but the efforts were wasted in the exhaustion that carried over his limbs. He let out a frustrated breath, practically falling back onto the bed when another sound spilled over his lips.

“Don’t move,” Tony cautioned gripping his arms around Scott’s all too slender form, “You don’t need to think about moving just yet. We just need to pace ourselves in…”

“I’ve got it,” Scott mouthed obstinately attempting to pull himself up again when the challenge proved to be too overwhelming in its delivery. With a small, uneasy sound, he was once again laid out over the bed. With Tony’s hand over his chest and coaxing him to simply stay still, the tension in the room thickened, creating a stressful situation that none of them had anticipated upon Scott’s awakening.

“Just take it easy gorgeous,” Tony whispered over the back of Scott’s ear, attempting to soothe him in his awakening. However, it seemed with the knowledge of his body’s weakness, Scott’s frustrations mounted causing the glow that carried over his cheeks to return to a stubborn determination when his fingers lightly tapped over the blanket to get them to return to full mobility.

“I think Scott’s had more than enough activity for the afternoon,” Bruce noted taking a bold step forward and focusing on the man on the bed before him, “He’s my patient and I want you all out of here.”

😈 Is there anything you enjoy doing that you think your readers hate?

Um…probably writing more than one story at a time. Not that I don’t think people aren’t happy with all the different plotlines, but I think everyone has a favorite story they like more than the others. When I do a rotation in the updates, I think sometimes people miss one story over another and it makes me feel bad for not being able to update them all at once. I just hope they don’t mind the wait it takes to get it out there.

🌝 Who is one character you haven’t yet written for that you would like to?

Thanks to all the wonderful challenges that I’ve been getting lately, I’ve had a whole new series of characters I’ve explored. For the longest time I thought about Kurt, but technically I introduced him in an ongoing fic. Bruce Banner was one I never thought I would write, and I’ve had a blast with him in my Better Together story. That’s been the best character I haven’t written before recently, but was so excited to give it a go lately. As for who is next, I really don’t know at this point. I'm thinking maybe Rhodey in an upcoming chapter of Better Together. I’ve technically written Loki in a few pieces before, but I’m looking forward to writing him a bit in Damaged as Tony’s partner and a new addition to the story. Does that count?

New crush alert! Lin Yi is the man ♡ This drama is so refreshing to watch. Like it's both funny and kilig together. Love watching every minute of it. The main female lead is so natural and she's also cute. I just wished she has longer legs tho so she won't look like a highschool girl and will be a perfect match for the male lead. Speaking of.. the male lead is sooo perfect for his role! I super love his character here---a weird genius + loyal boyfriend and not to mention super handsome. He's so adorable when he goes all Einstein and all "baby" as well haha. And yeah, it is the first time I've encountered him so he's a new crush alert for me like I said. He looks so young tho, probably the youngest among my Chinese actor crushes. But holymacarole, I didn't expect to have ved scenes here. Like it wasn't a serious SPG thing but it still has them! Yes, like not only once but many times haha. Well anyways, this drama won't let you down if you're looking for a light and giddy drama to watch. ♡♡♡

Yang Yang is back! And it's the first time for me watching him in a historical drama! Not to mention being paired up with her, a very "in-demand" actress as well, Zhao Lusi! THE PERFECT PAIRING! I was super excited upon learning about this drama, like wth these two together?! An OTP come true! Face card galore! Plus I love adventure/historical dramas so it's a super thumbs up! And guess what, it didn't fail me. I love it when there's a new "thing" in a drama--makes me wanna watch it til the end. And for me the wuxia + royalty here is a big check! They're like perfect for their roles. Just finished watching the whole 40 episodes tonight actually and I was super happy with the ending.. BUT then again, disappointed on how they didn't end up having kids! Like hello writer, what is wrong with you?! And to think that he has only 10 years to live.. why not give her something she can be with.. for her to still have a family even if he pass away. Like.. WHAT THE HECK LANG! I cried as well when the kid died.. yes, literal tears..

This drama is amazing, super love the costumes, cinematography, casts, effects, editing, and the actors. Super check! Yang yang is soooo handsome here. And not to mention the very beautiful Zhao Lusi! They're sooo perfect here! Kudos to the glam team! And omg it's my first time to see some formation during a war (see photo) and how they signal from the royalty commander to the general to the troupe. It was sooo dope! Okay, time to look for another drama worth watching!
