hey kels i was scrolling through my dash and then i caught a glimpse of your new fallon drawing and i want you to know that i went absolutely buckwild and then i scrolled further to see the whole drawing and i'm pretty sure i squealed. kels ever since ive started following you and your art and fallon have slowly nestled yourself inside my brain its amazing how excited i get whenever u upload a new drawing. also ive noticed that i'm slowly but surely starting to sound more and more unhinged and wild like you. how the fuck do you have so much influence on me.
ALSO i love the new fallon drawing!! you are so right blue gold and white are just her colours they fit her v well!! and i love how much texture you used throughout the whole drawing and her shoes are AWESOME!! also love the whole winter fairy-ish vibe <3
ALSO i was wondering if you could like sort of,, idk explain your drawing process on this drawing? like if you did the colouring first or the lineart and stuff bc i just love how it turned out and id love to try something similar!!
AW!!! i am so hype for my awful girl to be Enjoyed so much!! she is my favorite dressup doll i love to play barbies with her most of all heheh. also i am THRILLED that my Unhinged and Unwell nature have rubbed off on u. i know i am a Strong personality and it makes me V POLARIZING (i am either LOVED or LOATHED i havent met many ppl who are just like meh abt me. i am an Experience) and its always a DELIGHT when someone finds my feral animal traits endearing or positive and kind of picks up on them. i think because life is short that we should all be as bananas as we please at any point in time. PURE ID HERE BABY
AND TY TY!! my girl has a strong aesthetic and this piece kind of went a liiiiittle against some of that (its a lot of hard angles vs i normally give her a lot of ovals and rounded edges) but for the setting its appropriate bc im trying to give her a bit more of a """"harsh"""" or """"severe"""" vibe (like as harsh and severe as she can possibly look which isnt very). i LOVE to use texture brushes they are such an easy way to get out of drawing details myself because i am SO lazy!!
okay i “”answered”” this i GUESS technically because i typed words in response but its a whole lot of jack shit so like. here ya go. SORRY PAL.
here are some more shoes as u can see i basically draw her in the same ones always except when i draw her in a plugsuit
OKAY THE DRAW IN QUESTION i kind of cheated on bc i literally just traced over one of my older draws i did for a very obscure au i made of who made me a princess (i am always doing such ridiculously niche shit i love to sit in my little sandbox and have no one else understand my barbie rps) BUT the process is the same as basically every draw i do like this. it is very simple so dont worry (or do, maybe)
i use 1-3 layers at a time and then immediately merge when i feel like im done and LIVE W MY MISTAKES if not!! anyway prepare to be massively underwhelmed heh
this is so funny i cant believe i literally traced my own drawing im a fuckin FRAUD im the laziest bitch i know. anyway. my sketches are way messier than this but it always starts out either scratch ass lines or color blocking w this bright ass magenta bc thats what feels right!!!!!!
HERES THE LAYERS I USED LOL i do all textures n shit as a clipping mask so actually i used 4 layers for this bc id set down one texture or pattern that was gonna overlap on a diff layer so i wouldnt have to work harder to erase and then BLINDLY MERGED to make things more difficult if actually i fucked up before that!!! work smarter not harder except when it is absolutely braindead to do otherwise is my motto
IF IM DOIN SMTH NICER like this then i usually make sure all my lines connect (this is also why i do a lot of angles and simple clear shapes when i draw) so i can set that layer as reference and USE THE FUCKING FILL TOOL BAYBEEEEE!!!!! this also makes it easier to fuck around with COLOR imho bc you can just rapidly swatch with zero efforts. i Love to take shortcuts. i Love to be lazy. i HIGHLY rec this, if i have colored smth that stays in the lines then its bc i connected the lineart and used the bucket fill underneath. if my lines dont connect sometimes ill make a temp line and erase after i filled. im dedicated. ALSO u can see here that my patterns layer is all overlapping and fucked up bc i didnt check and erase fully but i use p limited palettes in general so... IT DIDNT MATTER THIS TIME!!!!!!!!.
anyway after all that i lock the lineart layer if i havent already and color some of the lines for some PIZAZZ. easy way to immediately fake effort i do love to do that
HERES AN ACTUALLY MESSY SKETCH:
i do all of my fucking draws on the same canvas bc im a horrible little beast, so the only reason i didnt erase the sketch and use it for the colors layer was bc there were others on that layer already and i didnt wanna scoot them so i could cap the finished draw. i did NOT connect my lines for this one i colored like a toddler. who gives a shit we all die in the end anyway!!!
YOU DIDNT ASK FOR THIS BUT LINELESS MY LOVE... i just color blocked for this one alas i do not have process caps, i will do that next time i draw i guess if anyone wants that!!? i typically only use a single layer for lineless- block out the shape, alpha lock, then color and carve from there. EASY PEASY!! ive shown it before but i spent all my formative draw years on v limited feature programs (mspaint, oekaki, TEGAKI MOST OF ALL) so i dont explore tools much and do what seems easiest and most intuitive to me... im sorry i dont have any sick tricks or real process i am but a feral little clown drawing in the DIRT. also here is the tegaki overlay i use whenever i am Blocked or fatigued w procreate layout. it makes me feel NOSTALGIC and INSPIRED so i do this instead of like, actually getting on tegs2
this ended up long as fuck and FOR WHAT?? its just 10 images and several paragraphs of “sorry im the laziest fucker ALIVE”
#idk what to say here every time i type anything i thnk it makes me seem just completely detached from reality#its not untrue i GUESS. im Unwell but in a stable SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THERAPY AND HAVING FUN WITH IT kind of way#kels talks#damn sorry anon this was a whole lot of not answering you at all

Polar Opposites [Spencer Reid]
masterlist
pairing - spencer reid x fem!alt!reader
type - fluff
note - hey, guys! this was a request! hope you enjoy it!
summary - spencer takes you out to meet his friends and they learn how different you are from him.
————
*gif isnt mine*
I looked at myself in the mirror, trying to decide if I liked this outfit better, or the one I had just tried on. Tonight my boyfriend, Spencer, was taking me out clubbing to meet his friends. And right now, I was looking for an outfit.
The one I had on right now was a long t-shirt that I sewed together to be a romper. Fishnet tights, a belt that went along my waist with chains hanging from the sides, a necklace Spencer had given me, and Doc Martens. The other outfit I put together consisted of red and black plaid pants, a regular belt that I put a chain through, a black cami top that had a rose on it, and a black jean jacket.
My style was... different to say the least. A lot more alternative than what a usual adult wears. But, I loved it. I was able to express myself better this way.
I heard Spencer and I’s apartment door open. Spencer called my name and I told him I was in the bedroom. He walked in and his eyes widened.
“Woah, who told you you could look that good?” He smirked.
I smiled and walked over to him. “I did.”
I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him in for a kiss. He put his hands on my back, pulling me closer. I pulled away after a few moments, wanting to catch my breath.
“Is that your final outfit decision?” He asked. I smiled as he knew that I probably picked a out bunch of outfits before this.
“Hm, I’m not sure. You like it?” I asked and twirled around.
“I love it!” He exclaimed and eyed my body and the curves that the belt accentuated. My cheeks burned slightly and I led him to the bedroom to see the other outfit.
“Well, if we are gonna dance you might get too hot in the jacket and pants. But other than that, it’s your choice,” he shrugged.
I thought for a moment. “You’re right. I’ll stick with this.”
“Sounds good! I’m gonna go get ready,” he said.
I nodded and he turned his head before he left to the bathroom.
“Have I told you you looked good yet?” He asked.
“Hm... not in those exact words, no,” I chuckled. He laughed, “Well, you look ravishing.”
“Thank you, lover boy,” I winked. He chuckled again and then left to go to the bathroom.
I sighed happily and sat down on our bed. I truly felt like the luckiest girl in the world to be dating Dr. Spencer Reid. Us two were so different and due to that, a lot of people wouldn’t picture us together. But we ran into each other on the street - five months ago - , me accidentally spilling my coffee on him. I apologized profusely, but he said it was his fault and offered to buy me a cup sometime. I, of course, said yes and the rest was history.
I think what made us work was, well, I found him incredibly attractive. His fluffy hair, soft eyes, inncocent nature, and intelligent mind. We also shared a similar childhood it seemed. I was bullied for being different and knowing every word to My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park songs. And Spencer was bullied for being a child prodigy. But in my eyes, I didn’t understand who would bully him. He was a true gentleman, best friend, and incredibly sexy fact-spitter.
While thinking, Spencer’s hands wrapped around me. I smiled and turned to kiss his cheek.
“Ready to go?” He asked.
“Mhm,” I hummed. We both got up and I took a look at him.
His hair fell around his eyes and his lips held his perfect smile. He was wearing a dark-purple dress shirt and black pants.
“You look handsome,” I smiled.
“Thanks, babe,” he said and entertwined his hand with mine. Butterflies flew around my stomach and my knees went weak. Even after being together for almost half a year, he still had the same affects on me as he did from the beginning.
He grabbed his car keys and we went to the car. As we drove to the bar, I sang along to my MCR CD. Even though Spencer didn’t like this type of music, I still found him mouthing the lyrics.
We arrived at the bar and my palms started to get sweaty. Spencer opened the door for me and I thanked him and slowly started walking to the door. A wave of anxiety washed over me as I saw his friends sitting and talking at the bar.
“Hey, they’ll love you,” Spencer said, reading my mind.
“I hope so,” I said and took a deep breath.
Spencer led me over, saying hi first.
“Hey, guys! This is my girlfriend, Y/n,” Spencer smiled.
They all looked at you with friendly smiles and wide eyes.
“Hi, it’s so nice to meet you!” I smiled. “You must be Emily, Derek, Penelope, and JJ?” I guessed.
“Spot on! I see Spencer has talked a lot about us,” Emily smiled.
“Yeah,” I laughed. “I wanted to be prepared.”
She nodded and then Penelope went to speak.
“I love your outfit and style!” She exclaimed.
I smiled and felt myself relax slightly. “Thank you! I’ve always been one for being different.”
“Oh, me too. Hence all the bright colors and green eyeshadow,” she giggled.
“Oh, awesome! And the eyeshadow looks great!”
“Why thank you. I think we are gonna be great friends.”
“Me, too,” I giggled.
“So, Y/n,” JJ started. “How did you two meet?”
“Oh, I spilled my coffee all over him and he offered to buy me another sometime,” I explained.
Derek smiled and clapped him on the back. “My man! You know, pretty boy here used to be all books, but now he has some game!”
Spencer blushed and muttered a ‘thanks’.
“Really? He’s always had game,” I chuckled.
“If you knew me a couple years ago, you wouldn’t have thought so,” Spencer chuckled.
“Well I would’ve loved you either way,” I smiled and kissed his cheek.
“Oh you guys are adorable!” Penelope gushed.
“Thank you,” I smiled.
“Do you want some drinks?” Emily asked.
“Yeah, sure!” I smiled.
“Great, what would you like?”
“Um, a Manhattan,” I answered.
“Sounds good. And an Old Fashioned for you, Spence?” Emily asked.
Spencer nodded. I got out my credit card but they stopped me.
“We invited you out. It’s on us,” JJ smiled.
“Oh, uh... you sure? We can split the bill,” I suggested.
“Yeah, we’re sure. Next time you can pay for all of us,” Emily winked.
I laughed, “Okay, deal.”
“Let’s go find a seat,” JJ said. We all nodded and followed Derek and JJ while Emily and Penelope ordered our drinks.
“So, what’re your interests?” JJ asked.
“Oh, I’m interested in art. I’m actually an Art Gallery Dealer, and I paint and draw, too. I love music, that’s also another big part of my life. I’m kind of in a band, too,” I answered.
“Oh, really? You any good?” Derek asked.
“Eh,” I shrugged. Spencer rolled his eyes and smiled. “She’s being modest. She’s the lead singer and guitarist. She’s amazing.”
I blushed and held Spencer’s hand under the table.
“Wow, mind if we see you sometime?” JJ asked.
“Not at all,” I shook my head.
“Great!”
Emily and Penleope came over with all of our drinks.
“So, what did we miss?” Emily asked.
“Y/n, here, is in a band!” JJ exclaimed.
“Oh, really? That’s fun,” Emily smiled and took a sip of her beer.
“What kind of music do you play?” Penelope asked.
“Alternative Rock,” I said. “Ah, I should’ve known,” Penelope laughed.
“So have you ever liked the alternative style?” Derek asked.
“Ever since middle school. I guess you could call it emo, too. But it’s a fun way to express myself. I was bullied, but I always knew that it’s good to be different,” I explained.
They all smiled.
“Wow, that really cool,” Emily said.
“Thanks,” I chuckled.
“Hey, there’s karaoke here! I know your band isn’t here, but we’d love to hear you,” JJ smiled, changing the subject.
I laughed nervously and Spencer squeezed my hand for support.
“Sure,” I said. I downed my drink and stood up.
“You’ll do great!” Spencer said and gave me thunbs up. I laughed and went up to the DJ.
“Hey, are you doing karaoke right now?” I asked.
“Yeah! Wanna be the first contestant?” She asked.
“Yeah, sure,” I smiled.
“What song, sweetie?”
“Helena by My Chemical Romance,” I said.
“You got it. Here’s the mic, good luck!”
I thanked her and grabbed the mic. I went on the stage and immediately looked for Spencer. My eyes locked with his and he gave me another thumbs up. I smiled at his support.
The intro started and I took a deep breath and put my hand on my stomach.
“Long ago, just like the Hearse you die to get in again. we are so far from you, burning on.” I sang.
As I went on, people came in front of the stage, crowding around. Spencer and his friends came up. Penelope and Emily were singing along even.
“Well I've been holding on tonight. What's the worst that I can say? Things are better if I stay. So long and goodnight. So long and goodnight,” I sang and loosened up. I moved my head and body with the music.
As I sang onto the next verse, almost the whole club was jumping around and singing the lyrics. I smiled and I felt my confidence build up.
“Can you hear me? Are you near me? Can we pretend to leave and then. We'll meet again. When both our cars collide,” I sang into the mic, getting louder with each word.
“What's the worst that I can say? Things are better if I stay. So long and goodnight. So long and goodnight!” I jumped around. “And if you carry on this way. Things are better if I stay. So long and goodnight. So long and goodnight!”
I finsihed the song and inhaled loudly, catching my breath. Everyone clapped. Derek, Emily, and Spencer whistled. I smiled and went off the stage. The group met me back at our table.
“Wow! You are talented!” Emiy laughed.
“Thank you. I took voice lessons for 12 years,” I chuckled.
“It payed off,” Derek smiled.
The rest of the night consisted of dancing and talking more. I felt myself grow tired and decided to go home with Spencer.
“Well, it was nice meeting you, Y/n,” JJ smiled.
“You, too,” I said and returned the smile.
“See you at work, guys,” Spencer said.

The Next Day *2nd POV*
“So, you met Reid’s girlfriend?” Rossi asked.
Emily nodded and sat down. “They are like polar opposites, but she’s so sweet.”
“How so?” Hotch asked. “She’s more alternative,” JJ explained.
“Hm... wait, is that her over there?” Hotch asked and pointed to the conference room’s window.
The team saw you giving Spencer his lunch. You were dressed in a blue bad black plaid skirt, crop top, with tights and your boots.
“Wow, she is different,” Rossi said.
“But he looks happy,” Hotch grinned slightly.
“He deserves it,” JJ smiled.
They all looked at the two of you, smiling fondly.
“I’m glad he found her,” Emily said.
“Me, too, Em,” Derek smiled.

Bright morning sun, warm sand, flesh breeze and the smell of the ocean...
This is the best that the beach has to offer, and no doubt our crew is enjoying to the max.. Well, most of them. Some just cant stand the Sun or will literally die if a single ray of sunshine hits them. Nonetheless, they still have fun alltogether.
Here we have our team, our protagonists: Future Hope is what they called themselves, because they are the hope of the future (corny but still a good message).
Eitch one is doing something different. Our big and buffy WereRabbit himself, Griff, is happily making a sandcastle along with the baby of the group, Muffin the Fairy, using her magic to make the little detaila of the castle. Meanwhile Rooko/Rooki, Spike, Blinkachu and Kip are having a volleyball tournament, and watching them are Spooks, Togekiss and the leader of the team.
Maria, but everyone refers to her as Queen. While she may not be an actual Queen, her actions and leadership replicate the same ones of an actual Queen, always loyal to those who care and help her, and isnt afraid to speak her mind.
Maria was sipping on a soda, watching the game, while Togekiss read a book and Spooks played Animal Crossing on her Switch.
"When the bubblegum pops..~ I want you to smile..~" Spooks sang along to the game's iconic tune, Maria looked at her and smiled. "I know you cant go out in the Sun." She said "But Im sure your cloak can protect you, you should go have fun too"
Spooks smiled softly. "Thanks but I am having fun, look I just got Marshall to move into my island!"
"Aw damn, I havent even got Ankha yet!" Maria said, the two girls giggling.
"HAHA!!! SUCK IT KITTY CAT!!!"
They turn back to the game to see Blink running in circles, celebrating another win between her and Spike, who were both a team. Kip was shaking her head.
"We get it dude, you won for a third time in a row" She said with a slight smile.
"And it was a remarcable victory indeed! You have such a wonderful jump!" "Ooh man why did we even bother playing? We suck at every kind of sport out there, we were destined to lose ever since we touched the ball!" Said the witch bird Rook, with her split personalities Rooki and Rooko. Polar opposites, one being a ray of sunshine and the other being a drag in the mud.
"Hey dont sweat it birbie" said Spike, brushing his hair back. "You werent so bad, too bad your height didnt help your jumps much" He playfully scoffed.
"Ohoho! See my dear? Even our friends know that we did our very best in this game!" "Why did we even bother? We were doomed to fail since our very birth with our stupid height, why are we even here? Just to suffer?!" "Oh dear me.. Let's get you some icecream, shall we?"
The witch birb along with the blonde kitty cat went together to get some icecream, meanwhile Spike and Blink went over to Griff and Muffin, who just finished their sand castle
Griff laughed out proudly "This is awesome! It's so pretty! And these details are so.. Detailed!"
Muffin twirled in the air "Im so happy too! Fit for a King!" She shouted proudly
"Or a Queen" Griff added, looking at Maria as she laughed along with Spooks about their conversation. He sighed.
"Our Queen hasnt been doing anything but stay in that tent with Togekiss and Spooks. While I get Spooks cant go out in the Sun and Togekiss is, well... Not really into beaches, I think Maria deserves to have some fun..." He added, Muffin looked at Maria and nodded in agreement. "You're right.." She responded.
"So how's the sandcastle?" Said Spike, chewing on a piece of gum. "Aw hey it looks nice. Why do ya'll look so down?" He then noticed that their looking at Maria, and imediatly knew what they were talking about. "Ooh I see. Queen aint doing much huh?"
"It was her idea for us to come to the beach, yet she isnt having any fun? What's the damn point then?" Blink added to the conversation, just as puzzled as the rest. "Is she just gonna sit around under the tent all day? I mean I get Spooks because she cant go to the Sun and Togekiss-"
"I literally said the same thing" Griff interrupted, seeming annoyed that the conversation isnt really doing anything to get Maria to have fun under the Sun.
"Well, what do you suggest Bunny Boy?" Spike asked, blowing a bubble with his gum. Griff's floppy ears twitched as he pondered a bit, then his ears perked as he got an idea, smirking.
"I got an idea."
A little bit more into the day, Maria noticed it was quiet. Looking up from her phone, she noticed that no one was in her view. Getting worried, she put on her flipflops, tied a swimming cloth around her waist, matching her swimsuit and walked out of the tent. She looked around and couldnt find her friends, beginning to worry.
"Griff?! Spike?! Muffin?! You guys?! Where did you-" "Woah!!!"
She was suddenly picked up by the WereRabbit, and by her side she saw all of her friends, and they were all running.
"What the hell are you-" "AAAH!!!"
"SPLASH!!!"
With a sudden movement, Griff threw her into the ocean, as the others laughed at her. "We came to the beach cause you wanted Maria! Why dont'cha cool off?" Spike added, making the laughter escalate harder.
As she submerged from the water with her back turned, panting, her voice changed..
"You... You..."
They stopped laughing, instantly knowing they were fucked.. Until she turned around with the widest smile they've ever seen, laughing her heart out.
"You damn rascals! This water is so freaking cold!" She laughed out loud
They sighed in relief, knowing they'll live for another day. And laughed once again. Until Griff got rudely splashed in the face with the sea water.
"Blegh!! Aye!! What was that?!" He sneered at her, who was giggling at his reaction.
"I know it was your idea to throw me in here, Im just returning the favor!" She said, showing her tongue.
The WereRabbit growled with a smirk "ooh now you're gonna get it, Lass!" He dived in the water, swimming after her as Maria ran laughing.
"Alright!! Cannonball bitches!!!" Shouted Spike, cannonballing into the ocean along with Blink and Muffin. Kip and Rook, who came back from getting icecream, saw the entire scene play out.
"I may be a cat, but Im down for a swim!" Kip said, running towards the ocean.
"Ohoho! Come on dear!" "Nooo I dont like the taste of salt water!!" Shouted Rooko as her body flunged towards the water.
Spooks and Togekiss, watching from afar, smiled at the fun mess that was happening in the ocean, Blink and Spike splashing eitch other, Griff was holding Maria in the air as she laughed, Kip was floating in peace as Rook twirled and spun around with Muffin.
"Such children.." Togekiss said. "Im so proud to be their friends" They said with a soft smile.
"Yeah.." Responded Spooks. "No doubt the future will be bright, as long as we're together.."
"I agree my dear Royal Of Darkness. Now, want to visit my island?" Said Togekiss, pulling out their Switch as well.
"Oh heck yeah!" Spooks smiled.
And so they enjoyed the rest of their beach day, as a well-deserved break from saving the day, changing the world..
Giving Hope, to the Future...

I was asked and ask, and in my flu causing feverish state, I deleted it. So if you’re out there and recognize this question (and I’m paraphrasing) please reblog and @ me.
So If i remember, the question was along the lines of
“Why isnt there huge amounts of stuff, for shows like She -Ra and TDP, are they not as popular?”
Lets go for a ride...
I think the reason why we dont get the same amount of content generated for shows such as The Dragon Prince and She-ra, say in comparison to shows like RWBY.
And by content, I mean, theories, memes, art and in depth analysis, boils down to 3 things.
1) Time to Generate.
Both The Dragon Prince and She-Ra have only recently dropped their first season. Now both have their second season coming rather swiftly, esp in the case of The Dragon Prince. Season 2 is dropping tomorrow: Feb 15 2019 over on Netflix.
She-Ra’s is set to be released April 26th 2019, again on Netflix.
The Dragon Prince S1 was released on Sept 14th 2018, and She-Ra: Princesses of Power, Nov, 13th 2018.
In TDP case, that is a 5 month and 1 day turn around and SPOP, 5 months and 13 days turn around.
It is rather unheard of for an animation to have their Second season be ready in under 6 months. Usually it is anywhere from 10 months minimum to a year or in some cases, even longer.
I put this down to the success of the two series and how the audience received them, and Netflix wishing to capitalize on it, and the hype generated.
Lets just hope that the both properties dont feel rushed as a result.
So with such little time, and a very short hiatus in terms of tv shows, (which is when most of fandom generated content tends to be created), that gives very little time for their respective fandoms to leave their senses and devolve into some sort of animeesque Lord of the Flies in a matter of weeks, in a bid to cope.
(RWBY FNDM, I’m looking at you with your ‘Beehaw’s’ and YORSE, and ‘Scheehaw’s’. I still cant believe you made Arryn read that with her own eyes!!)
(You can tumblr search Yorse yourself, I aint making anyone look at that cursed image without their consent. You’ve been warned! ;p @hammertime-rwby i shake my head in your general direction... ;D )
Time to generate can also be reflected in how long a show has been on air, thereby garnering a wider and much larger fanbase with a broader set of creative skills, which in turn results in more fandom content generated, esp if there is the potential of shipping.
And bloody hell does SPOP have some crazy potential on the shipping front,
2) Time to Mature and Fandom Engagement.
As a show matures and the audience leans learn more about the characters and the world that they inhabit, the nature of fandom created content evolves. It also depends on the verve of the show itself.
The way in which a show is presented, the topics and themes they cover, the way the characters and the world are presented, can vicariously dictate how the fandom engages with the property, go forth and multiply.
For example:
Sherlock is very meme worthy and that tends to be reflected in the content that is generated by the Sherlockians.
RWBY has been out for 6 volumes and has a very dedicated and passionate FNDM, but it is also broad, large and incredibly diverse.
It is also rather vocal and has very strong differing opinions from one end of the spectrum to the other, which in turn creates YT reviews, reactions and rebuttals and heated retorts.
These polarising pov’s can then go on to permeate to other branches of social media, such as twitter, tumblr, discord etc etc
Same with fandom accepted headcanons and lore...
(I’m still on the fence about you Renora Rodeo Round up... You’re on thin ice! ;p )
But it has taken a number of years to cultivate.
Neither The Dragon Prince or She-Ra has had the time to do that, yet!
But I’m certain that will change in the coming future.
She-Ra has already generated quite the buzz on both the positive and negative sides, due to being based on a much loved, older, property, ‘She-Ra 1985′, but that is a mine field which I covered on my previous blog before some asshat decided to axe it.
Also, the themes that Netflix She-Ra seems to be covering, which helped generate a lot of the negative backlash towards the show, will most definitely continue to be polarizing... So I would keep an eye out if YT and people picking stuff apart is your jam.
On the other side, what SPOP seems to be trying to deliver will also generate lots of awesome content. Just look at how this took off,
“Hey Adora”
And this cinnamon roll’s preoccupation with ‘force captain orientation’,
The Dragon Prince strikes me as a show that would generate deep reflective analysis of world and characters as well as theories, much like its older cousin, Avatar Last Airbender, once there is more to comb over and speculate on.
These two shows are presented differently and they way they are tackling certain themes in their respective narratives are also vastly different, which could also have a lot to do with their respective target audience and intended demographic, so it stands to reason that the results of fandom generated content would be different.
3) Platform and Format.
This I believe is one of the most important aspects which ties the previous points above.
If a property is delivered week by week, such as RWBY, there is time, for the FNDM, after they make amazing screen shots and insta analysis and excited speculations, to go over it again and allow the episode to sink in.
(which both TDP and SPOP could do, as they have episodic episodes but that is an entirely different post)
There is time for the fans to go sit back and react to what they have seen, whether that is creating beautiful fan art, crafting in depth theories, character analysis, extrapolate potential world building.
A week by week delivery culminates in an emotional impact that is allowed to foster and grow, thereby gives space and time for the individual to go off and create content for their respective fandom.
Fanart takes time, fics take time.
The not knowing what could happen next opens up the avenues of thought out speculations.
Having a week to go over everything to that point and process new info. Being able to take your time to research and prep before you put it out there, results in good, in depth analysis and well crafted work.
Time gives breeding ground.
(Some wait years for lore.. Overwatch fandom, I dont know how we do it! But we all cant be Tracer!)
Because, we are so salivating at the the mouth for insta gratification and ‘binge’ culture has become so prevalent where media is concerned.
When a property is delivered all at once, it gives no breathing space for speculation and wild theories.
For a particular scene or interaction between characters to have an emotional impact and thereby create emotionally significant fan art, that is reblogged and shared in that moment, give it time to resonate with its respective fandoms.
And there for have time for other members of the fandom to be inspired to go off and create their own stuff in what ever medium is their forte.
Because we are on this fast paced ride, not only from the start of the chapter 1 to end of the first ‘book’, so to speak, but also the social media need to be the first to create the content for the fandom, the type of content generated, how and why, is hugely different and may not at first glance look like it is forth coming..
It just takes time to sink in.. To go back through and re-evaluate.
Being inspired by a particular interaction between two characters , or a certain facet of the world that an fan may have noticed and wishes to expand on, art wise, fic wish or theroise, loses its validity when you know that the next episode could answer your burning questions in less than 5 seconds.
And so you stave off for the dreaded nine episode when your eye balls are nearly gumming together and you know you have work in 4 hours but you need answers to the burning questions..
and so results.
This is not the content creators fault, in anyway. This is quite literally the way in which it is delivered.
Its is pretty much,
II) However, in Conclusion
The perceived lack of fandom interaction/generated content, in the social media platforms that a fan chooses to consume, or is available to them, does not mean that a show isn't popular.
The ties to previous projects, such as SPOP to She-Ra 1985 and The Dragon Prince to Avatar Last Airbender are vastly different.
Expectations are vastly different.
Fandom interaction and generation of fandom content, is not a measure made of how popular a show is.
Also, politely, remember the demographic of which these shows are aimed at.
Be respectful of the show creators, the property, the characters and the narrative that the show creators have painstakingly crafted and put out into the world.
The story that they want to tell.
Again,
a reminder,
Tomorrow, 15th Feb 2019 , Season 2 of The Dragon Prince.

Reacting to Batman vs TMNT
Part 3:
-huh, look at that, I miscalculated:
Hufflepuff is on the lead with 55 points, Slytherin follows with 35, then gryffindor with 30 and ravenclaw with 20.
Come on, Donnie you can do better!
-so. Mikey pulls out an awesome chart.
-(me) you are awesome.
-oh wow. Did you see it? Did you see that? Donnie kind of has a turtle beak.
Un like the others, who have a more human face design, and who's expressions are more highlited. Maybe he got the genes from that part of the tree (so to say) fascinating.
+5 points for ravenclaw
-wait. Counterpart the mutagen? Like, retromutagen? ...shit
-this movie's got blood. And issues.
...I like it.
10 points for slytherin just for the threat to demutate the turtles.
-nobody cares? NOBODY CARES!?
-DONNIE, SINGLEHANDEDLY, JUST FIGURED OUT THE POSITION OF THE BATCAVE... IN A DAY
-and nobody cares?
- 10 points less for griffindor.
-and you know what? This is awesome, but even more by the fact that I am not so shocked. Donnie is just that good. Its his thing. It makes sense.
-Donnie, you are the MVP 10 points for Ravenclaw
-and 5 points for Mikey's grubby paws, and for Donnie's eyes when he saw the computer
-Mikey, on Batman's suit, on a t-rex, playing with the cape.
-"Mikey, get down"
-"nah man, I live here now"
-those plus points to both huffs and griffs
-Mikey's reaction to Robin.
-I love that Robin doesn't seem to be able to beat them, but they are not fighting seriously, and get hurt.
-pfff Mikey and Robin fighting for the cape
-just Robin's personality
-and Mikey and Robin again
-and I can't explain how they do it, but I like that they can get in theyr shells
-Donnie I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
-just so you know, Im counting the house's points with crossed lines now, 'cause Im running out of paper
-they finally explain themselves
-Raph's sneaky gesture
-security guy didn't back up when he saw the sword. Perhaps he didnt see the sword.
-uh! A chopped head. That angle got me by surprise!
-ARKAHAM
-the effect of Shreder's knifes on the security guy
-noooo the guy with the 'gotham's best dad' mug!
-oooh so cool all the villians here...
-THANK YOU, SCRIPT WRITERS FOR THE SCENE WITH HARLEY QUEEN. THANK YOU
-(guys, its Harley Queen, and the Shreder. Interacting. And funny!!)
-Mikey skateboarding down the Wayne house stairs, and ruining them for the sound of it. And runing over Alfred, who is bikering about teenagers, 'cause he offered to cook, but they preffer pizza.
-Leo so proud 'cause fucking Batman recognices his father taught him well.
While training with Batman
-how much does this movie cost? ITS PRICELESS
-lets be realistic, how did that picture get there? Was there a camera right in front of the guy when he turned inmortal? The design is nice, I guess its trying to be um, sexy and dramatic?
-kudos for creativity, thoug
-Raph doesn't like the idea of an inmortal Shreder. Neither did the other raphs who lived in a dimension where he actually was.
-I kind of like the human shreder. Its closer to the original concept from the comic, and its more vulnerable, but also more threatening 'cause its freaking human!!! How does he keep coming back? Where will he stop? Can't trust him, he's human!!
-shit careful with that shit!
-yeahlisten to Raph thats dangerous guys!
-oooh the retromutagen only works withing 12 hours of the mutation... For reasons
-... 10 points less from Ravenclaw
-ok, its untested, so, dangerous side efects. Good. I will take that. Thats good, thats... 10 points back to Ravs
-oh uff I was worried we would not get to see Splinter here, but at the very least we get a nice japanese style drawing.
Still hoping to see him.
-Alfred and Mikey~~
-they each eat two pizzas. TWO PIZZAS
-come on man, let the kids eat!
Like, literaly kids. Working. For you. For the city too but, let them fucking eat!
-yeah Mikey...
-no shit he did not. HE DID NOOOT
-Donnie knows just how to calm Mikey. Shove pizza in his mouth and cuddle him.
-shreder, kill him. Kill him!
Nooo nonono dont give the Joker fucking ooze. Killit killit!!
-they turtles show themselves to the inspector and he is just so done with everything
-Mikey's still here!
And he's got his rollskater back
-and he rides it
-HAHAHA
-DOCTOR Harley Queen
-ok the transformation secuence is cool too
-ok, one cool detail: up close, Harley Queen's teeth look quite realistic. I just like it when they look like that, not like anime or other shows, where they are just triangles.
-and Batman's greet to Harley is "what have they done to you?"
Thats becouse Batman's character is one that cares a lot for people, even villians, sometimes.
-this is all just GOOOD SHIT
-Mikey reacts to being inside a scary movie with 'this is so cool' just like me with the movie
-oooh Leo's been gassed!!! What will he see? In this cool ass movie with blood and insults!?
-well, that is nightmare fuel
-the fight with the polar bear. Like, Raph deeps his zai in his arm, and he has to shake it to get him off!
-and Mikey. Just, all Mikey
-Mikey's buuurn!
-yeah, who's fastest now, Robin?
-oh wow that is long, isnt it? Yeah, I will continue in the next post. Upsie!!

Like a Tree (Jeremiah 17:5-10)
My family recently returned from a trip to Florida. We went primarily to visit family – my grandparents are in the process of moving out of their Florida home there as we speak – and we wanted to visit them, to enjoy some sunshine together and to swim in their awesome pool, one more time before they sold. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. Our visit was overcast and cold – not “polar vortex in Michigan” cold, but still, Florida cold, 50-and-drizzly cold, too cold even for little girls to go in the pool. Fortunately, even though the girls missed the pool, we had a lovely visit with grandma and grandpa, and we also had a surprise in store: the girls didn’t know it, but we were going to Disney World. So there was this one beautiful day. It was one day when the sun actually came out – and I tell you, I think I am at least partly solar powered, because when the sun came out that afternoon, it was like my soul woke up – and the sun was shining and it was in the 70s, probably the most beautiful day of our whole trip. And I remember so vividly sitting that afternoon on a bench in the sun, with my eyes closed, the light on my face, letting the crowds bustle right on by, taking a break in the sun in the happiest place on earth... and my hands are like this (up in front of me, fists almost closed), one hand tightly wrapped around each wrist of my four-year-old, who is in the middle of one of the most epic and out of control temper tantrums of her life. You see, Disney is a wonderful place. And my kids got to go on a lot of amazing rides and meet a lot of fantastic characters. Along the way we learned that both of my girls love roller coasters. They love the thrill rides, the dips and the swoops and the big drops and the wind in their faces... they both love the roller coasters, but many of those rides for safety reasons require you to be a certain height to ride. And for a lot of those rides, in order to be safe, in order to get on the ride, you need to be at least 44 inches tall.
I can now tell you with absolute certainty that, with her sneakers on, when she stands up as tall as she knows how – B is exactly 43 and 3/4 inches tall. And sometimes life is hard when you’re 43-and-not-quite-another-whole-inch tall. Sometimes it means your sister and daddy go ride Space Mountain, and you get left behind.
B and I did a lot of fun and special things while daddy and big sister stood in line. We rode the People Mover – which is a really nice ride, but it’s not Space Mountain. We met Buzz Lightyear – and he’s a really cool guy, but he’s no Space Mountain. We went on the Carousel of Progress, which has the voice of Tom Hanks and a catchy song and lots of educational value and a rotating theater and absolutely no waiting at all... but it’s no Space Mountain. And now we had to wait just ten more minutes, ten more minutes for daddy and sister to finally ride their ride and come meet us. Ten minutes until our family was back together and we made our way to dinner with Cinderella. And those ten minutes were the longest ten minutes of our lives. I told B how lucky we were; we did all those things while daddy and sissy just stood in line. I reminded her we were at Disney World, and the sun was shining and we were on our way to meet Prince Charming. I explained to her about lap bars and rules that are meant to keep her safe. I told all the things that were right. I told her why. But all she could see was that it didn’t feel fair. And she screamed at me. And she cried. And she stomped. And she kicked. And when she started hitting, that’s when I held her hands and didn’t let go. We were past the point of reason. We were neck deep in the disappointment and anger of a not-quite-44-inch-tall four-year-old who was hot for the first time in days and who was tired and overstimulated and who didn’t want to be the little sister any more. And all I could do was hold on. It’s easy in those moments to let it get to you. Too often, I do. Too often, I forget that’ I’m the adult, and when the kid starts yelling, I yell right back. Too often, I start thinking: we never should have come. This is why we can’t do nice things. I start to feel like a lousy mom. I should have found a better way to keep her happy. I should have taught her how to manage her feelings. And when she’s yelling, “You’re mean” and “You’re a bad mom” and “I don’t like you” – sometimes, it feels like she means it. And in that moment maybe she does. So I hold on. I hold on to her, literally, so she doesn’t hurt herself or anybody else. And I hold onto the knowledge that this too will pass – and the amazing thing is, it does. And I hold onto how much I love her, and how much she loves me. And the sun shines. And the tantrum ends. And life goes on. B probably doesn’t even remember that tantrum. But I do. And what I remember most is the calm that I had – which isn’t like me at all – the calm, the peace, that helped me hold on.
At a recent gathering of moms, a speaker talked about grace – specifically in the context of marriage and parenting. They said, grace as a state that you’re in, a state that God puts you in, a state of being where you are loved and valued just as you are now, with no conditions or changes – and if you’re in that state of grace, if you know who you are, and you know that who you are is someone who is beloved and valued by God, and you know that nothing can change that – then you can weather the storms that come.
And the speaker never used this imagery, but I wish they would have – because that’s what comes to mind when I read our scripture for today:
Blessed are those who trust in the LORD, whose trust is in the LORD.
They shall be like a tree planted by water,
sending out its roots by the stream.
It shall not fear when heat comes,
and its leaves shall stay green;
in the year of drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit.
Blessed are those who are rooted in the LORD – who are planted by deep water, who can weather the drought and the heat and the storm. Blessed are those who know that your value doesn’t depend on whether or not your kids throw tantrums, or if they get into the best schools, or your house is a mess, or how your job is going, or if you’re married or single or widowed or divorced – your value doesn’t change when you have a bad day, when you mess up, when you get completely overwhelmed… you can keep going, because your roots run much, much deeper than that.
There is something powerful about being rooted in God’s love. There is something powerful that comes from knowing that you are beloved by God, that God values you so highly that God would trade God’s own life for yours – and nothing that happens to you, nothing that you do, nothing that you don’t do – nothing can change who you really are: you are beloved by God.
It’s a powerful truth. It’s a powerful image, and it’s one I need to hold onto more often – I wish I could tell you that every time my day spirals out of control, every time my kids lose their tempers, I manage to hold onto mine. I wish I could tell you that I always draw on those deep roots, that I turn my face to the sunshine until the storm passes. I don’t. But I’m working on it… and the good news is that, even when I blow my top, those deep roots of God’s love still don’t let me go.
But this imagery, this scripture, runs even deeper than that; it’s about more than just the strength that helps us get through our lousy days. Even in the middle of that miserable tantrum, when B was fighting and screaming and railing with all her might, part of the reason I could keep holding on is because I knew: I was right. I knew that, no matter how much she yelled, she couldn’t go on that ride. And even if I broke all the rules and found a way to smuggle her onto that ride, even though it might make her happy for a few moments – it wouldn’t be the most loving thing I could do for her. She couldn’t go on the ride, because she wouldn’t be safe on that ride; it wasn’t made for her, and as much as she wanted it, it wasn’t right for her. And no matter how much, in that moment, she screamed that I was mean and life was unfair – I knew that I still loved her, and eventually, she’d know that all I was doing was acting out of that love.
When you know what you’re doing is right, when you know it’s rooted in love – even when that love doesn’t look the way people want it to, even when those decisions are hard and your voice is unpopular – when you know, then it’s so much easier to keep holding on.
There’s a reason that this image – of the tree, by the water, that will not be moved – there’s a reason that it became an anthem for the civil rights movement. Because when you know what you’re doing is right, you can weather the storm, you can weather the drought, you can hold on through the violence and the hatred and the anger – because you know, deep down, love will prevail, and if you keep holding on, if you just don’t give in, sooner or later, justice will roll down.
I’ve been thinking a lot about temper tantrums and the deep roots of justice lately. We find ourselves, as a nation, guided by leaders who are willing to bend the rules and abuse their power and manufacture a crisis in order to get their way. And sometimes it seems easier to just give in to the tantruming todder – but in the long run, all that does is hurt them and everyone else. If our leaders want to address a real national emergency, then let’s talk about the 1 in 5 children who go hungry in America.[1] Let’s talk about the 1 in 5 Americans who can’t afford or access the health care they need.[2] Let’s talk about the 100 Americans who are shot and killed every single day – and the hundreds more who survive being shot and have to live with the trauma and the fear.[3] Let’s talk about the fact that our national infrastructure has been reviewed by the American Society of Civil Engineers and given a grade of D+.[4] Our airports, our dams, our water pipes, our roads and bridges are literally crumbling out from under us. Let’s talk about the real global threat of climate change, and the reality that we are running out of time to do something about it – if we haven’t already.[5] Let’s talk about the fact that, here in Michigan, hate crimes are on the rise,[6] and the people of Flint still don’t have clean water three years after a federal state of emergency was declared.[7]
One of the other scripture readings suggested for today is from the gospel of Luke, from Jesus’ sermon on the plain. Jesus sees the crowds, the multitude who have come to him for healing and for hope, and he goes down to a level place – he goes and stands with the people on level ground. And Jesus says,
Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you will be filled.
Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh…
But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.
Woe to you who are full now, for you will be hungry.
Woe to you who are laughing now, for you will mourn and weep.[8]
Jesus’ words challenge us – but this, this is the root of his message, and this is where we are meant to be rooted, too. Are we content to be a people who speak comfort to the rich, who stay silent in the face of abuses, who rob from the starving to fill the pockets of the powerful? Or do we, like Christ, put ourselves on level ground with the community around us? Are we proclaiming good news to the poor? Are we healing the sick, and feeding the hungry? Do we weep with those who are weeping – and work to bring them peace?
It’s a lot. But Jesus never promised that discipleship would be an easy road. And it’s more than any one person can do together. But if enough of us keep holding on – if we refuse to be silent – if we don’t give up the fight – then there is always hope.
Holding on is exhausting. But I keep holding on, because I know what’s right, and I am rooted in God’s love, and I believe that – if we keep speaking up, if we keep holding on, if we refuse to give up, then we will keep bearing fruit – and in the end, when the chaff is withered and blown away, justice will prevail and love is going to win.
In the coming days, the United Methodist Church is going to make some important decisions. They’re the same decisions the church has been facing since the very beginning: are we going to be about laws, or are we going to be about love? And many of us are anxious, because those decisions are going to impact the kind of ministry we do, together. But here’s the thing: I may be anxious, but I am not afraid. I am not afraid, because I know what God has called me to do. I know where God has called me to serve. I know that God’s love is for everyone, everywhere – and the sin that God is calling us confront is greed, is the love of power, is injustice and prejudice and racism and fear. And I am going do all I can to keep speaking hope, to keep speaking truth, to keep following that calling God has given me, regardless of what the General Conference decides. I am going to keep doing justice, and loving mercy, and walking humbly with God – no matter what.
I, for one, by God’s grace, am going to keep holding on. I’m going to choose what’s right, even when it’s hard. I’m going to turn my face towards the sunshine, and I’m going to put my roots down deep. I am going to trust that the truth can set us free. And I am going to trust that God’s grace is sufficient even for me.
Oh God, help us to be trees planted by your waters. Give us roots that run down deep in your love. The icy storms around us are turning us brittle and cold; give us tender spirits and warm our hearts again. Help us, even in dry and difficult seasons, to bear fruit of your grace. Make us people who do justice, who love mercy, and who walk humbly by your side. In Jesus’ name we pray; amen.

Yes, cabin fever is real—here's how to prevent it
New Post has been published on https://nexcraft.co/yes-cabin-fever-is-real-heres-how-to-prevent-it/
Yes, cabin fever is real—here's how to prevent it
We know winter can endanger to your physical health, but it’s bad for your mental health too. As the weather becomes more intense, we huddle indoors, reluctant to go out because of cold or snow—and thus cut off from other people.
This isolation can trigger cabin fever, an extremely unpleasant state of mind. But you can fight it off if you know what to do.
What is cabin fever?
Cabin fever is a folk term, not an official medical diagnosis. In fact, even people trained in psychological analysis have overlapping but not precise definitions of this term. Still, researchers have determined some common symptoms that tend to go along with being trapped in the house during a winter storm (or otherwise stuck indoors). These include irritability, restlessness, boredom, excessive sleepiness, and a feeling of dissatisfaction.
These feelings might sound relatively innocuous, but they can lead humans to act out in frightening ways. Polar researchers and their support staff—who often work isolated together for months—offer some examples of how cabin fever drives people to scary extremes. Over the years, various explorers and scientists have attacked each other with hammers, poisoned a colleague to death, and quit by burning a research station to the ground. On a less violent level, it’s not unheard of for scientific missions to nearly collapse over minor disputes, to the point where neutral arbitrators have to fly in.
True, you and I are unlikely to grab axes if we get snowed in for a weekend. But this still demonstrates the degree to which cabin fever can affect you.
What causes it?
What seems to induce cabin fever is isolation, whether a person is entirely alone or stuck with a small group of people, such as a family. It also seems to get worse when everybody marooned in the building with you has to follow a specific routine. One study subject noted that his frustration wasn’t due so much to the routine as it was to the fact that he couldn’t escape his home.
The season only exacerbates these effects. Winter is already hard on the mind, disrupting our biological clocks, as well as causing the notorious seasonal affective disorder. So many people are already in an unhappy mental state before they start staying in.
Why does isolation seem to grate our nerves to shreds? Researchers have found two culprits: lack of socialization and boredom.
Spending time with others is important for our health; even self-proclaimed introverts need a small number of awesome friends to stay happy. For example, solitary confinement is a point of ethical concern for prison doctors due to its ability to aggravate and possibly even cause mental illness.
What if you’re snowed in with a couple friends and see those familiar faces every day? This contact might not be enough: In the 1800s, pioneers on the American frontier often had their families with them, but they still developed so-called prairie madness.
We can blame our social needs on evolution. The rising scientific consensus is that our brains are wired for the kind of stimulation that being with other people gives us. This is actually an evolutionary advantage; our ability to work together and empathize with each other helps us gather resources and coordinate efforts in a way few other species do.
Beyond the social aspect, boredom is dangerous. Long periods of time with nothing to do—or when we’re following the same exact routine over and over again—will wear on the mind. This drives people to seek distraction in any way, shape, or form. Psychologists have found this state makes risky behaviors seem fun, and it can drive us to political extremes just because the brain craves something, anything to do. That’s why ennui can swing us from sleepiness to leg-jittering and back again.
Combine boredom with the absence of social stimulus, and we have a potent and nasty state of mind. That makes preparing for it particularly important.
How can you fight it?
Maybe you can’t import additional human company. In that case, the key to avoiding cabin fever is to deal with its other root cause: boredom. Staying busy, whether it’s with fun or work, and changing up your daily routine will help.
Put in a large supply of new books, board games, crafting projects, and other things to keep yourself amused and productive. Make sure you’ve got plenty of entertainments that work without electricity, to avoid problems with power outages. Speaking of which, keeping a power bank or two on hand isn’t a bad idea, either.
If you’ll be with a group, look for things you can do together; submariners face cabin fever-like conditions, but have relatively few problems because they work closely together and have strong shared bonds. Putting together a craft project may not be the same as running a nuclear reactor, but it’s the teamwork that matters.
Vary a few aspects of your daily routine, especially if you’ll stay indoors for a long period of time. Switching up the order of what you do and how you do it, like working out at different times of day or swapping around different activities, can help stave off boredom and re-engage your mind. If this a snow day turns into a snow weekend, avoid behaviors like binge watching, which can affect your sleep patterns and overall emotional well-being. Instead, watch one episode, then do something else.
That said, you need to maintain certain routines as well. For example, you should stick to your usual sleep patterns and avoid napping or staying up too late. Keeping your body on a regular schedule is already tricky when the snow flies, so setting a specific bedtime and a regular morning alarm will make it easier to fall asleep and wake up. Another way to maintain your body’s schedule is to work out regularly, because physical activity helps keep your circadian rhythms on track.
While you’re caring for your body, lay in a stock of healthy foods. and remember to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Chowing down on junk food rather than regular meals can mess with your mood. Eating to amuse yourself isn’t great for either your brain or your waistline.
Finally, remember that this will end sooner or later. Even polar researchers go home eventually, and most cities manage to clear the roads within a day or so. So take heart; your cabin fever will soon break.

New York Yankees Thumbs Down Shirt
Do you love it? https://kuteeboutique.com/shop/new-york-yankees-thumbs-shirt/
New York Yankees Thumbs Down Shirt
And thats what happens when u sell ur soul do the devil. Wakeup peeps!! Hes an illuminati look whats on his chest??? A pyramid tattoo with an eye inside. If ur acknowledged enough u ll know what im talkin bout. This is no joke no ordinary person can ever do that. Even in the beginning u can clearly see him makin satanic symbols with his fingers which pretty much means hes Goin to start with bowing satan/devil and with his name. Her first trick and the second trick was quiet simple and easy. All the New York Yankees Thumbs Down Shirt it was used with an gadget called invisible rope which is used by many magician for invisible movements.
New York Yankees Thumbs Down Shirt, Hoodie, Sweater, Ladies T-Shirt
New York Yankees Thumbs Hoodie
The last trick was not at all amaze or extra ordinary. She did clicked for real but the frame was already filled with ghost filter. Thumbs up and comments if u support my notion tutorial. What if she isnt faking or acting. Maybe she has a disability maybe she is gifted in many ways! They make me angry.
New York Yankees Thumbs Sweatshirt
Long exposure shot. She put the camera on the table opened the lense an paused while behind the judge when she walked behind her. Burning her image into the film slightly. Then when she uses the flash a brighter image is burned onto the same piece of film. I really awesome style of photography used in a really amusing manner.
New York Yankees Thumbs Ladies
New York Yankees Thumbs Down Shirt V-Neck, Tank-Top, Long Sleeve T-Shirt
New York Yankees Thumbs Vneck
All you assholes making fun of her because of the twitch…it’s called Tourette’s syndrome it’s a disability that causes twitching…you should be giving this girl props for using her disability to her advantage..she’s making everyone scared and creeped out in her performance with it while doing magic tricks.
New York Yankees Thumbs Tanktop
Think before you write your comment, ppl are waaay to critical and waaaay to judging when its only a talent show. Fuc’ers.. please. Its not kindergarden anymore. What is she has a problem thats why she twitches her head like that.. so at the end wouldn’t it be offensive. I think she’s brilliant! A completely different way of performing magic. Incorporating performance art that is so polarizing. If she is incorporating her disability into her act it’s very smart, none the less she keeps you captivated and mesmerized at the same time.
New York Yankees Thumbs Longsleeve
She tilted her hand while she had it extremely stiff (blatantly obvious) to make the New York Yankees Thumbs Down Shirt fall over! And her “twitch” also helped…. and if you look at the cards it’s also blatantly obviously where they are separated! This was not at all scary…. If anything an insult to people that have to live with actual twitches or Tourette’s syndrome! Don’t let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba “Spare Tire” Dixon.

Milky Way no longer visible to one third of humanity, light pollution atlas shows
Scientists describe cultural lack of unparalleled magnitude as global atlas reveals extent of sunshine pollution within the worlds skies
It’s inspired astronomers, artists, musicians and poets however the Milky Way turn into a remote memory for a lot of humanity, a brand new global atlas of sunshine pollution suggests.
The research reveals that 60% of Europeans and almost 80% of Americans cannot begin to see the glowing gang of our universe due to the results of artificial lighting, even though it is imperceptible towards the entire populations of Singapore, Kuwait and Malta.
Overall, the Milky Way is not visible to several third from the worlds population.
Lead author Fabio Falchi in the Light Pollution Science Institute in Italia stated the problem would be a cultural lack of unparalleled magnitude.
Chris Elvidge of america National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration along with a co-author from the study, added the occasions he’s seen the Milky Way happen to be magical encounters.
Through our technology weve stop that possibility for big figures of individuals for multiple generations now, he stated. Weve lost something – but how can we place value onto it?
Explained John Milton like a broad and ample road whose dust is gold, and pavement stars, the Milky Strategy is so obscured through the results of modern lighting that it’s no more visible to 77% from the United kingdom population, using the universe masked from view across nearly 14% of the nation, including regions stretching from London to Liverpool and Leeds.
Further afield, areas round the metropolitan areas of Hong Kong, Beijing along with a large stretch from the New England of the usa are among individuals in which a peek at the galactic band is unthinkable – a scenario also found across a lot of Qatar, holland and Israel. In Belgium, it can’t be viewed in 51% of the nation.
Humanity has surrounded our world inside a luminous fog that stops the majority of Earths population from getting the chance to look at our universe, the authors write.

Published in the journal Science Advances by an worldwide group of scientists, the study is dependant on data collected from space through the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership satellite, along with computer types of sky luminescence and professional and citizen science measurements of sky brightness obtained from the floor.
The resulting global atlas reveals that giant swaths of humanity experience light pollution, including greater than 99% of individuals living in america and also the Eu. People living near Paris would need to travel 900km to areas as a result central Scotland, Corsica or central The country to locate a region with night skies almost unpolluted by light, the authors add.
By comparison, Central African Republic and Madagascar are some of the countries least impacted by light pollution, with nearly the whole of Greenland boasting pristine skies.
Before the creation of night-time lighting grew to become really prominent within the 19th and 20th centuries, everyone could have been acquainted with the Milky Way, stated Marek Kukula, public astronomer in the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, who had been not active in the study. We have seen it in mythology concerning the sky, in most cultures all over the world. It is among the apparent aspects of heaven combined with the stars, the planets and also the moon.
When light from your streetlamps, homes and illuminations is tossed up in to the sky it bounces off particles and moisture tiny droplets within the atmosphere and it is scattered, leading to artificial sky glow – among the important aspects adding to light pollution. The upshot is the fact that spectacles such as the Milky Way may become obscured from view.
The night time sky belongs to our natural heritage. It’s beautiful, it’s awe-inspiring or being able to see it’s a method for us to connect with the broader world and understand our devote natural world, stated Kukula. When we lose that it’s a shame because we’ve lost that direct reference to something larger than us then one that’s very beautiful.
The problem turn into worse. Based on the new study, if all sodium lighting is substituted for awesome white-colored Brought lighting, artificial sky brightness seen across Europe could greater than double because of the rise in blue-light emission.
Also it isnt only our look at the night time sky that’s impacted by light pollution. There’s also biological consequences, not just on wild birds and insects and mammals, but additionally even on humans, stated Elvidge, mentioning the light pollution can disrupt natural conduct of creatures and it has elevated numerous human health concerns.
It’s not all disaster and gloom. Regardless of the Milky Way being masked from view in lots of metropolitan areas over the United kingdom you may still find regions of the nation where you’ll be able to obtain a good look at the night time sky. There are numerous dark sky parks and reserves within the United kingdom that have been worldwide certified through the International Dark Sky Association to possess lower levels of sunshine pollution – places like Galloway Forest Park, stated Kukula, adding that various online tools will help direct stargazers right area of the sky.
However the authors from the new study say more must be completed to tackle the problem of sunshine pollution. Among possible measures, states Elvidge, are using more shielded street lighting, motion-activated lights and cut-off occasions for illuminating structures.
Kukula concurs, It’ll reduce our power bills, it’ll reduce our carbon footprint, it will not modify the lighting we have around the roads, he stated. And it’ll let us see a lot of wonders from the night sky.
Our children and grandchildren won’t ever observe that beauty

We are here on planet Earth but we live in a huge cosmos, and its one of the things that links us to our position in the universe. And so it is wonderful to see it. I think by looking up at the stars we have endeavoured to do so many things, weve sent probes to Pluto and beyond, and if we lose contact with that I think we lose some of our ability to dream and to aspire. It starts with the Milky Way but where will it end?
I spent a wonderful six months working at a telescope in Chile, at the Gemini telescope, and there we could actually see [the Milky Way] – it did look like a path across the sky. It has inspired songs, it has inspired people to great endeavours and so I think the more light pollution there is the more we miss out on that, and the generations to come will never see that beauty.

I’m possibly more inspired through the Milky Way than any artist that has ever resided
For me personally the Milky Way continues to be an unfailing supply of inspiration and question, as fundamental element of my identity as the truth that I survive Earth within our Solar System.
I’ve been a separate evangelist for that universe, and am possibly more inspired through the Milky Way than any artist that has ever resided.
I deplore the barriers we’ve erected that block the vista for many of Earths people. Nothing can obvious your brain, elevate the soul, or inspire curiosity greater than the Milky Way.

Its essential that it is not just astronomers who worry about this

The night sky is the most universally-shared part of our environment. Its been gazed and wondered at, throughout history, by people in all parts of the world. Its indeed a sad deprivation that many young people have never seen a clear starry sky. And its important that its not just astronomers who care about this.
Im not an ornithologist, but Id feel deprived if songbirds disappeared from my garden. Likewise, there would surely be widespread sadness if light pollution screened out our celestial environment from ever more of us.

The Milky Way is our link to the Other: to the lost civilisations out there in the galaxy, so far away and so profligate that they appear not as stars, but as a single brush stroke of watery light. When we lose the Milky Way, we sever the umbilical cord that connects us to the wider universe.

Its not just the Milky Way [people] cant see. Who in the 21st Century has ever seen the Zodiacal Light – that beautiful cone of dusty light that can even outshine the Milky Way, a thrill to see if you are lucky enough to have dark skies where you live. And probably about 10,000 stars that the three Wise Men on their way to Bethlehem would have been able to see are all invisible to us in the cities, where we are swamped by mainly unnecessary stray light. From my roof in Kensington on a clear night I can see roughly 30 stars – its a tragedy, really. Along with all the other excesses of what we call civilisation, our first-hand awareness of the cosmos has been forgotten.
We are so fortunate to be living on a planet that gives us a view, not only of our own Solar System companions: the planets, comets, etc – but also of countless stars in our own Milky Way Galaxy. Because of this weve been able make the foundations of cosmology, discovering the very nature of the vast universe around us. From our position out on a spiral arm of the Galaxy, we see both inwards towards the centre of the Galaxy and outwards towards its edge. The billions of stars in the Galactic plane show up as a milky light which has enchanted people from the dawn of history. But we, in our ceaseless dash to make money and cover the world with concrete, have lost this priceless treasure. Along with almost all our wildlife, our contact with Nature, and our humanity.

The Milky Way evokes a feeling of awe when I see it. It always has and it always will. This is partly because it is rare to see now due to light pollution. Its analogous to spotting a rare bird in your back garden. But I have many memories of seeing this band of hazy light from the dark skies of my village when I was younger. To be able to see the collective light from the stars making up our own galaxy gives a tantalising sense of the enormity of our universe and the structures within it. That so few people are now able to see now the Milky Way is a great loss. We are forcing ourselves to look inward and not outward. And just as we bemoan the loss of our countryside we should act to protect our ability to enjoy the universe. If we dont, its inspirational value will be untapped and a site of scientific interest will be rendered accessible only using professional telescopes on mountains or on spacecraft.
