You’d hooked up with other Alphas before, but not idol Alphas. Most of the time, Alphas mistook you for a fellow Alpha. You were naturally assertive and outgoing, stubborn, and had strong preferences and opinions on just about everything. When it came to Alphas, you sometimes loathed the way they interacted with you. Yes, confidence was sexy to you, but not pure feral dominance. You refused to be bossed around, even politely,  in bed, which sometimes turned Alphas off, especially if they were rutting. 

You went over to Soyeon’s a few days later, but your incompatibility in bed was clear as soon as the two of you were in her bedroom. Neither one of you finished, and she seemed almost relieved when you made your exit at 1:30 in the morning. 

She didn’t message you again after that. You felt a little discouraged, until you matched with TWICE’s Jihyo a week later. 

You met her for drinks and then she invited you back to her place. As the leader of her group and with plans for her solo album debut underway, Jihyo was at her most confident. 

The more you got to know her, the faster you realized that you and Jihyo would make far better friends than lovers. She was just as ambitious as you, just as opinionated, just as competitive and stubborn as you. 

You didn’t have sex, let alone kiss, but you left having made a genuine friend. She looked pensive as you left, reaching for her phone before her door even finished closing behind you.

When Somi asked you how you liked the app when you walked into the studio for a practice next week, you sighed. 

You made her wait until you took a coffee break before speaking openly. “I’m not very…compatible with these Alphas,” you said, choosing your words carefully in the cafe you two were in line at. 

“Oh come on, you basically became Jihyo’s new best friend!” Somi said, paying for you both. “And Soyeon? More like ‘so what.’ Besides, two dates is hardly a splash in the dating pool,” she said. “You never know,” she added mysteriously, pressing an iced coffee into your hand. 

“I guess,” you said, only half-convinced. 

But later that night, you thought about what she said and went back on the app.

Just a few profiles in, you saw an unexpected but familiar face: TWICE’s Mina.

You always forgot Mina was an Alpha. 

Mina was one of the most reserved idols you’d ever known. Well, maybe not known— more like, seen from afar. On the outside she sometimes came off as aloof, but she was an extremely hard worker from what you had seen, and undeniably pretty on top of all of her talent. 

Curious, you swiped right. It was a match. 

It took a few days, but Mina finally messaged you. You set up a time and place to meet, and when the night came, you found yourself uncharacteristically nervous. 

You knew how to flirt with cocky Alphas. It was like a game. Stroke their ego and they’d eventually stroke you, so to speak. But Mina wasn’t like that. 

Mina didn’t fit into any of the stereotypical Alpha boxes you’d come to expect. She was never overbearing or aggressive, more demure than cocky. She didn’t feel the need to try for attention, she knew she held everyone’s interest simply for being herself. She was regarded as one of the calmest, coolest, most collected Alphas by other Alphas in the industry. 

The bar she chose to meet you at was an upscale Japanese bar. Just from taking in the decor while walking in, you knew you were going to burn through your dancer’s salary at a sickeningly swift pace. 

As you made your way over to the small table she was at, far off in the back, you felt her eyes on you the entire time. Her gaze followed you as you sat down beside her. 

When you greeted her, the Alpha’s voice was soft. The energy between the two of you at first was nervous but friendly. You thought about releasing a little of your scent to calm the environment, but decided against it, not knowing how Mina would respond. The Japanese Alpha was nearly done with her first drink, you noticed. You glanced down at her glass and she gave you an apologetic look. 

“I got here early,” she said, and you started nodding, thinking about what her schedule must be like, but then she finished: “It was either come early or lose the will to come at all. I hate…dating.”

It was a startling introduction. Unable to look at you, Mina scanned the room to see if any wait staff were nearby. 

There appeared to be none for a moment, and then suddenly there was your waiter on the other side of the room. You flagged him down and immediately ordered a drink, double. Without thinking, you added, “...and I think she’d like another,” gesturing to Mina’s now empty glass.  

Mina blushed, looking at you with appreciative surprise. “Thank you,” she said when he left. 

“Why did you come then?” you asked, wondering if you were about to have your drink alone or if Mina would stay. “If you hate…dating.”

“I–” she hesitated, clearing her throat. “Well, for one: because I know you went out with Jihyo.” 

It was your turn to blush. Before you could say anything, she spoke again. 

“She didn’t say anything bad. She actually told me that I might…like you.” Her voice was barely above a whisper. 

Amused, you settled into your seat, a smile spreading slowly across your lips. 

“Oh? What else did she say?” 

More pink rose to Mina’s cheeks. “Just that I’d probably think you were funny. And that maybe–” she cut herself off, waving a hand in the air. “Nothing, that’s all.” 

You were curious, but didn’t want to pry, so you moved on to talking about other things after your drinks came. The two of you got along pretty well. It was easy to make Mina laugh, you discovered. The way she covered her mouth when she really cracked a smile was cute. 

After a while you noticed Mina’s glass was getting low again, and while poring over the drink menu, you asked her questions about the kind of drinks and alcohol she liked.

A playful smile found its way to your lips. 

“Can I order for you?” you asked. “I think there’s one on here you’d like”

The Alpha’s eyebrows rose in amused surprise. She nodded. 

When you put in your last order for drinks, you pointed to the drink names without saying them as you ordered. You asked for an ingredient change for one of them, the one for Mina, careful to avoid saying the actual ingredient being swapped out in case Mina peeked at the one remaining drink menu left on your table. 

“I want it to be a surprise,” you explained. 

In the end, the sake grapefruit cocktail you ordered for her was a success. 

“Oh!” she said after her first sip. “I wasn’t expecting that. It’s good.” 

For the rest of the night, you swore her scent was a little stronger.

Käärijä Cologne Gig Review

Starting off strong with me not sleeping enough. I literally went to bed at 10 pm, but couldn’t sleep until around 1:15 am and I had to get up at 4 am so- yea. 💀

But my dear friend Jenny and I were determined to get barricade so we just did what we had to do. We arrived at around 7 am at the venue and there were thankfully not many people there already.

Then the queuing began. I was so happy to see some of my mutuals again and got to spend so much amazing time with them! I also met so many new people in the queue and thats really one of my favorite things about these fandoms. 🫶🏻😭

At around 11 am Jere just showed up. All of us were like, aware that the tour bus was nearby but i don’t think anyone really cared or actively kept an eye on it. So I guess he just decided to see what we‘ve been up to???

Most of you will probably have already seen some pics (but I have to say it again) he decided to see us.. without any pants on. He was just standing there 🧍🏻‍♂️ greeting us, in this ugly sweater and he took his time to talk to us and take pics with us etc.

Also: I‘m pretty sure everyone who was there and knows me is already tired of hearing it BUT i was just like: „hey do you wanna sit with us?“ and he did. And then the whole Santa thing happened and I‘m still like „?????????? How did ANY of that happen???“ What possessed me to be like that. Anyway, as a friend of mine pointed out, I made him laugh so I will take this accomplishment and make this my new Roman Empire. I am so sorry for everyone who has to hear this story again and again and again🫣

We were also lucky enough to get an opportunity to hear some of the new songs. Because he came back to us a second time and played them for us on his own speaker (it’s battery was fighting for its life lol). And this was honestly the most wholesome thing ever. We were all just standing around him, listening to those songs and some of the others were asking him questions and he was just chatting with us about the album and the songs. He also asked us to not film any of it and I believe all of us just put our phones in front of him on the floor to show him that he can trust us. And he honestly looked so touched by that?!😭 He then asked us if we could film a tiktok with him for Häärijä‘s song and we did 💀

After that we went back to normal queuing and with the progression of the day more people showed up (i mean, that’s how it works haha).

My friend and I did make it to barricade and really had the time of our lives. It was my second time seeing him (last time in Berlin in 2023) and I honestly think both of these concerts are on my top 3 list. I was kinda disappointed that Rock Rock isn’t on the setlist anymore since it is one of my favs but having HHH, Trafik! and Ruoska is already so amazing that I can get over it (still missing my baby tho).

His whole interaction with Anna was so sweet. She was right in front of him and she also had to open his bottle for him and he just made her so happy, it was all so sweet omg.

We were dying of heat tho. It was so fucking hot and all of us were sweating like crazy. Some people in the middle of the crowd got him to splash water onto them and me and @peri-peri-sauce were also trying to get at least some drops onto us but he was just like „no, enough“😭 The security guy then gave us some bottles! He eventually did splash us as well but it literally evaporated 5 seconds later cause it was so fucking hot 🥲

Honorable mentions: the whip during Ruoska??? Sir?? Sir?? Weird way to propose but YES!; him laying on the floor before Cha Cha Cha and us chanting his name while he‘s fingering the air encouraging us to keep going; and hearing Trafik! live for the first time (this song is so good omg); Jenny and I during ICIP (we went crazy); me giving him my „Cologne“ sticker at the last possible moment, him looking at it and kissing it 🥹

All in all, that was such an incredible day. The queuing and the concert were literally perfect and i had so much fun! Nothing could ever beat this day I fear. I am still so overwhelmed by everything that happened and I am so grateful that I could have been there and experience all of it.

I overslept the album release with the literal wildest dream!

I was at an art show in a half abandoned museum with a bunch of strangers, and everyone was moving around on hoverboards. The reason why is we were done with the art show and needed a way out of the museum. When we finally found one, the mountain right next to the museum, like 300 meters away, decided to turn into an active volcano. Everyone was panicking and asking me of all people what to do, so I went "What are we gonna do? Well, certainly not die or get hurt, so maybe let's run?" So we threw the hoverboards and started running while trying to dodge hot rocks.

We finally got away and arrived at a hotel because many things were decimated from the eruption, so we all decided to get drinks at the bar. Which meant a change in wardrobe because everyone was dusty. So I turned to open my literally bed-sized suitcase made of blanket-like material, which stored the clothes of my whole family btw, and took some clothes. Put them on, a random toddler came up to me all pissed off and poured a mug of tea all over my outfit. So I changed again. Same toddler, came up to me again, and I was like "Please be careful I just put these clothes on", so the toddler just splashed some of the tea on me. So I had to change again. Also this toddler was giving me hugs while I was trying to find a new set of clothes and changing. Put on a third set, and woke up.

I'm not awake enough to piece together how each part here is connected to what I've seen/read while I'm awake which is usually how it goes, but I think the whole collection of events goes back further than usual because it's been a couple of weeks that I've read anything on volcanoes.

4 thoughts about the SASHISI Spotify playlist  🎵 I know that there could probably be an interpretation of every single song and it`s deeper meaning but I just want to share 4 thoughts that I had while listening to the playlist again (it`s been a while). 1. I am still laughing about the fact that Sascha has added “Symphony of a spider plant” by Mort Garson to the playlist. A song from an album that was literally created with the intention to play it in front of your plants and which is described as “warm earth music for plants and the people who love them”. Fight me but I am convinced that Sascha added this song to make a little bit of fun about Isis plant obsession 😄 . We know Sascha has a great sense of humor and I am sure Isi would roll their eyes about it but would secretly play it in front of Lizzo and Billie Efeutute.🌱 2. The fact that “Mystery of love”  😭  is in the playlist has planted this idea in my head that Isi and Sascha have watched “Call me by your name” together the first time and both started crying during the final fireplace scene (honestly, nobody cries as beautifully as Timothee 🙏). Then when the credits where over and the film ended there was an awkward moment between them because they were trying to quickly wipe their tears away and not looking at each other as they were a bit embaressed about their emotions. They would both laugh shyly and Sascha would offer Isi a tissue and pretend that he needed to go to the bathroom just to have a moment to breathe and to splash some cold water in his face. The whole time when they were watching the film, he was wishing Isi would lean a bit closer and maybe put her head on his shoulder. She sometimes did that when she was really tired, but not today. When he noticed that she was crying too, he wanted to give her a hug or softly caress her back but didn`t dare to, because it could have been too revealing especially after watching such a romantic movie. When he returns to the room Isi got a hold of their emotions again and they both try to lighten the mood by chatting a bit about how great Timothee is as an actor and maybe make some jokes about the peach scene. Sascha then added the song to their playlist the following day.  3. Speaking about crying.....”It`s ok to cry” by Sophie is one of my favorite songs of the playlist. When you listen to it just imagine how Isi would sit in Saschas room after a really shitty day or week and Sascha would ask her what is wrong and she would tell him how people from school or just on the street where making stupid comments about the way she dresses and how that made her feel sad even though she tries to tell herself that it`s not important what random strangers think about her. Because she feels so close to Sascha and trusts him, she doesn`t hold back the tears when she talks about how those comments hurt her. She apologizes for getting so upset but Sascha tells her that its ok to cry, gives her the most comforting long hug and spends the rest of the day trying to cheer her up and distract her from what happened. In the evening before Isi goes to bed she sees a message from Sascha, telling her that he added this song to the playlist for her. She listens to it while falling asleep and smiles.  4. Ok, you can call me weird but I think its sad that the song Isi listens too at the beginning of the friday clip of episode 2, while they are enjoying themself  😏, is NOT a song from the playlist. That could have been an interesting hint for a subconscious attraction to Sascha. Since we never got to see Isi longingly looking at pictures of Sascha or anything like this... Since music is such an important part of their friendship/relationship....just saying.

omg i think if i had a say in their next comeback concept i would just.. want them to have an Actual Concept? design, concept and styling wise svt's albums & comebacks in general have been a little underwhelming the past few years imo and its such a shame because their albums have SO. MUCH. POTENTIAL to tell these amazing visual stories to compliment their music. from their interviews it's obvious the boys have a clear vision for each comeback too so its really pledis who needs to step up their game.. fear for example, i feel like they couldve done something really cool with that; maybe like a dark, ethereal, almost fantasy-esque concept ? and they got sooooo close with some of the shots in the mv but it still felt a little empty and uninspired in the end idk. home run too, i think most carats can agree its downright criminal that we never got a vintage baseball themed stage (im still so bitter about this ashdjdj) idk idk ;;;

ooooh he is pyschometric got me back into crime dramas!! I originally watched it for the romcom but got sucked into everything else. I mainly watch romcoms but if you're into crime?? then I would recommend tunnel, signal, stranger and I'm watching the good detective right now! If you don't mind romcom I would also recommend suspicious partner, it's romcom/crime and is one of my top 3 kdramas hehe

yeah sometimes it doesn't feel like Christmas here because I associate Christmas with winter and snow etc. and yeah I do celebrate Christmas! Do you?? I don't have any tradition other than spending time with family and eating but what more could you ask for tbh

for dk's birthday a few years ago I did a set for each dk pairing and it was soooo fun even though I could *not* do that again ajdbakak but I remember for seoksoo their moments were mostly in the background like their little dinner date hehe so cute <3 but yeah! a couple of years ago I tried making a set which had all 78 svt pairings and while looking through videos for the different scenes I realised once again that all pairings really are just. Amazing in their own ways (I never ended up making the post but u know how Miley Cyrus said it's the climb? Yeah)

aah they really have been putting out so much content hey. I have yet to finish ITS and HTR lmao but my fave gose ep for this year was probably the best friends ep!! (Highly recommend) you can just tell they're having so much fun and man the things they come up with....seventeen are truly top tier. I actually made a querencia set ages ago (probably my first member focused set that wasn't of dk lmao) and I wanted to make a new one because of that specific moment (plus woozi best producer moment) but as always I don't follow through with my ideas ajsjaka. I too would love to see that set tho <3
