i call them Voidcat. they/them, similar situation to Saint where they choose never to ascend so they can guide others, formless Void Sea Echo-like creature that tries to mimic local lifeforms to blend in (scavs (head), slugcats (body), lizards (tail), vultures (sorta, wings)). strictly follows usual Karma dogma and avoids fighting if possible. never speaks (mute by choice) and silently judges every living thing. overseers' feed turns static while observing them and data pearls slowly corrupt when they hold them for too long due to their nature. could technically max Karma their way through all gates due to their origin but prefers to abide by the rules and stick to the actual proper restricted way to do it (lawful good). makes a habit of perching/hanging ominously. considering that yellow head and wing was a visual glitch i like, i like to think that's how they appear while ascending lifeforms.

also i like to think scavs are. so fucking confused around them. like yeah they can see it's a weird slugcat thing but also it has their face but also?? ? ? ???? what is wrong with it. uncanny appearance just makes the scavs unnerved and either run/attack, though Voidcat doesn't retaliate. i like to imagine they get stabbed with a spear and don't even flinch, then slowly turn to face the scavs who then VERY quickly retreat in fear lmao.
