Yuri's dialogue (JP) is so fascinating to study, like... the repetitive use of certain words/phrases that others use sparingly but he uses constantly. the way it feels like his vocabulary is more expansive than what he uses, but he defaults to a "comfort" level of speech. the way it mixes in with his sort of "street talk" words and the sheer level of informality. the way his "street talk" phrasing is contrasted by the tone of his voice (on that note, people I know who also know JP are also very endeared by these aspects of him so I KNOW IT'S NOT JUST ME!!!).

'cause the thing is, he uses phrases that yeah, other people do use, but he uses a handful over and over and over (contrast to other characters' sparing use of repetition). it's actually... really refreshing? it sounds more relatable and less "video game/anime/JRPG/RPG" writing or something, idk. like closer to how a real person would speak.

I do my best in my translations not to make things sound too stiff across the board, but Yuri makes it so easy. it's why I'm so interested in translating all his lines in Vesperia, like... the actual, original tone for him with his original wording because it's smth Eng only players don't get to experience ('cause even if you listen with JP audio, if you don't know the language, ofc you're gonna miss out on context. it's nobody's fault for not knowing, just... they unfortunately miss out). the thing is, there are a lot of times when the lines in and of themselves are not contextually incorrect in the English ver (usually the situation for smaller scenes, because they altered the text outright for more important stuff which was the stuff that originally set me off, but there were also plenty of cases of just vocal tone shifting with the correct context that still gave off the wrong impression), but Yuri's tone is shifted away from the original in Eng even though it's completely and perfectly translatable.

I am by no means about to translate the entire game because let's face it, I really don't care that much for Vesperia on the whole. I'm kinda stuck with it because Yuri's there lo and behold I actually am WAY more engaged in his stories in Rays, Link and Asteria because it's an amazing character put into circumstances where he actually gets to shine and feels more alive, which Vesperia did not provide nearly as well with its very disjointed story. also, Tales gachas have banger stories that are arguably better than the mainline games, and they regularly make Yuri a very central character to the gachas. Crestoria was also about to do it until they pulled the plug on that game and I'm pretty confident something interesting has been lost to the world. also I just generally don't have the energy or motivation to do that, so... I'll only be focusing on Yuri's lines, especially because his stuff is where the bulk of the messing around was. he's just insanely fun to translate for and I love burying myself head first into his speech.

will I actually finish this project? dunno. will I get around to posting it? whatever I get done (so all of it if I complete it), and if I decide to call it quits then I'll post what I have at the time I decide that. will it take a long time? probably, but I can always mention stuff along the way...

Hi, no worries about my og ask being deleted, because I’m a weird little freak that writes drafts for my asks in my notes app. So here’s it again:

This is a completely personal opinion, and I’m not faulting anyone for having this headcanon, but I absolutely hate Asian Melanie headcanons, specifically Chinese Melanie.

The reason why is because I am Chinese, and I hate the idea of sharing anything in common with her.

But also, I don’t really like any PoC headcanon for Melanie. I’m not black so I can’t really say how bad it would be, but to me, headcanoning one of the most physically aggressive characters in the show as black is… not great.

And I understand that there are a lot of PoC that relate to Melanie, or see her anger as righteous fury that so many minorities feel.

But to me, she is 1,000% white, mostly because her anger sounds so entitled to me, she’s like “I fought tooth and nail for everything in my life” and it’s… a YouTube channel. Not “I worked so many jobs trying to climb the ladder but everyone looked down at me.” (Which Sasha did have) or “anywhere I go, people look at me with scorn.”

All her anger and the only thing we see that she’s angry about is that she became a meme.(an oversimplification, I know) And maybe she did have to work a lot of jobs until she got to where she is, but we never really hear about it, so it’s a moot point.

I am of the opinion, that all the characters that don’t have a canon race, are written as white, because Jonny Sims is white and he wasn’t trying to write a story about race. But for a lot of them, making the a PoC doesn’t really change their story, but I’ve seen people think otherwise.

The one I’ve seen most is saying that if Jon is brown, it changes his story because of the way Jonah was manipulating him and that he is a victim of police brutality, but I don’t really think that would really affect his story, because Jon isn’t a character that, to me, takes his race in to account for how others treat him. However, Melanie definitely is, if she were anything other than white, she would be loudly declaring the racism that she is met with all the time, as is, she only talks about her experience with sexism.

And I know I’m digressing, but it annoys me to no end when people are like “Jon has to be white, because if he were a PoC he would have been suspicious of Elias, and wouldn’t have been so shocked that he was the murder suspect. And if you think that he could be brown, you’re stupid and racist” And then they’ll turn around and say that one of the other ambiguously raced characters is a PoC.

Like, you’re going to say Jon has to be white because he he didn’t think he was a murder suspect, but turn around and say Martin “you’re the police” Blackwood isn’t one of the whitest characters in the show.

Race doesn’t really make a difference for any of the characters, but some do have more hints of being stereotypically white than others, and Melanie is definitely one of them to me.

Sorry, this got long. And once again, to be clear, I don’t really mind people headcanoning any character as any race, if I see something I don’t like , I just try to scroll past, and I never say anything on the post. I just needed to vent about the general situation of race in TMA, and put my two cents in. (Melanie was just a good starting point for it, and the one I personally have beef with) (also, sorry if it’s confusing, it’s pretty much just all stream of consciousness)

you can see how annoyed jack is over this request. annoyed seems like a weird word. disappointment, frustration, anger, irritation. exhaustion. i was half expecting him to say, “i’m so tired of having to forgive people.”

i do think it was a bit too wide of a net cast with regards to jack’s anger (joke was just a small part of a bigger issue) but what we can understand, especially by episode 4, is how much people let jack down or simply abandon him. his parents leaving in the most brutal way, his guiding force and only male influence betraying him and fucking with his life, this boy he thought he knew fucking with his head and sacrificing himself for 5y.

none of those are small things. and i love how they handled forgiveness—jack didn’t forgive him. the whole scene is great (minus how clearly hot the coach was and idk why they made him keep that on). jack is frustrated, he’s confused, he’s just surviving. when he says he feels empty…he is. yin rly got that across for me esp when he was just listening to what the coach had to say. the emotion through the coolness shows us how genuine he is but also how..well yea, empty.

the visual cramping in the apartment buildings remind me of him. there’s too much to hold in one space and people could fix it but instead pile in more things. jack will burst. there’s this stagnancy to the place they exist in (the city) like nothing changes, no one gets out, there’s no point in struggling just let the misery we know will come, come. it’s so dry but suffocates. you can feel the heat (not only bc THEY DONT DRESS PROPERLYYYY) and stiffness. idk a lot of affectual-visual cues. a lot of thoughts.

Dude does not subscribe to the general populace, he marches to his own drum and we love him for it. The world of One Piece has a recurring theme of Morally Gray and No Such Thing As Good Or Bad type of stuff. Especially with Pirates vs Marines.

So like. Imagine Buggy being involved in some sort of mad wild bullshit hunt/fight, he's escaping the Marines, he's cackling, making a show of it and between one taunt and the next, he catches sight of movement in an alley way.

Two pairs of eyes stare back, wide, terrified, and he freezes.

Immediately all fight and threat drains, and he turns to the alley. "Hey," he greets softly, not too gently but with care dripping from the vowels. "What are you brats doing out here, huh? It's dangerous."

The Marines try to cut in and Buggy disengages at best, forces them back at worst.

"Time and a place," he tells them, "change of plans, there's kids here. Time out, buddy."

He's soft with them, but not alarmingly so to their wild eyes. He recognizes the signs there, and he simply lets them choose their pace.

The officers there view a new side of a fierce pirate, one who would quail under a sharp look one moment and glare back, hissing in fury thr next to a commanding officer with two little ones to protect. He is multifaceted. He is complex. He is.....

Really pretty.

Oh boy do I have a lot to unpack with this latest drabble. Where do I even start....

Jungkook is so confusing in this chapter. Is he really disappointed in her not wanting to do these adventurous things with him? Or is it what she's just thinking she sees? If he's really that disappointed, why would he ever think she's the girl of his dreams and someone he wants to marry? They are polar opposites in this aspect. So even if he thinks it balances him out and "tames" him, how would he think they have a future if they both have to change for each other? If they have to meet each other halfway, then that means she has to do 50% of the adventurous stuff, and he has to give up 50% of it. But is a relationship where you have to do stuff you really don't want to do really worth it? Is it fair to each party? It would have to lead to resentment from both sides at some point. We're missing a lot from JK's perspective here.

I can't believe he left her alone in the middle of the night like. So disappointed in him. And this goes back to my prior paragraph. He's clearly not willing to give up that 50% because he snuck out on her to go and do it. If he were willing to give up some of it, he would never have left her. But the calling to do those things is too strong for him. So if he did have to give that up for her, how could he not feel some type of resentment towards her after a while.

I get why she left him. She feels like she's a complete disappointment to him and that she's just not good enough. I get it. I understand why she left him. Because they're polar opposites. I still think she handled it wrong. I think she should have given him a better explanation. From what the reader knows, JK thinks she dumped him because she didn't feel anything for him. Which is so far from the truth. She just didn't feel adequate enough for him. And even though he tried to reassure her it was okay, she didn't believe him. And why should she when she sneaks out in the middle of the night. It just validated all her thoughts. But instead of confronting him about it, she let it eat her up inside to the point that she left him with barely an explanation.

Don't even get me started on him using sex to sweep their issues under the rug. He's definitely on my shit list for it. The one time she actually tries to talk to him about her feelings and he goes and does that. I have no words. It's like he knew what she was going to say and didn't want to hear it. So how can he be surprised when she left him? He obviously knows there was an issue that needed to be addressed and he didn't want to address it. So because of that he gets dumped right when he's going to propose to her. I guess that's his karma.

I'm not on any team right. I don't know who to side with after that chapter. I'm so annoyed with them both, and I'm left wondering how they could possibly make a relationship work. Neither one of them should have to compromise so much. And clearly OC is not happy with the snowboarding thing. She's trying, but it's just not her. I'm still rooting for them to get a happy ending, but I just can't see how they could be together without each of them having to change so much to make the other happy. There is a lot riding on their talk for me. Mostly because I need to see why JK wants to be with her and why he thinks they're a perfect match.

He was slightly disappointed, yeah, though that’s understandable, rly. I explained my point of view on that in this ask, but maybe it’s a bigger dealbreaker than I thought 🥴

I don’t think they need to change who they are, but they need to learn how to communicate properly, bc Jungkook would’ve understood if she’d just straight up told him she was feeling uncomfortable. He’d do his own thing once OC was okay with it, and everyone would be happy. He loves her to the core; he just didn’t know what was going on inside her bc she never shared her doubts with him.

Being in love is simple, being in a relationship isn’t. It’s the hardest part of being and staying with someone, esp after spending years together. There’s rarely a time when things are 50/50, and that’s okay, as long as issues don’t pile up.

Yeah, sneaking out was honestly the stupidest thing he could’ve done, but he never meant to hurt her. But he did, he regretted it, ppl are stupid, ppl are flawed, and sometimes you do things you can’t take back but want to fix. In his case, he didn’t get the chance bc she broke up with him.

He didn’t have sex with her bc he wanted to sweep it under the rug, in his perspective, he thought she was just going to apologise for saying no, and he didn’t want her to feel that way. To him, it was fine and not that deep. He didn’t know there was more to it, how could he? He was oblivious to her thoughts the whole time, she never hinted at them, and he’s not a mind reader.

Idk what to say about them not being right for each other, like as a sign they shouldn’t be together…but they are, they will be, and they’re not going to change who they are. It’s just a very deep-rooted communication problem.

i was actually bracing for this one to suck ass bc everyone says worf is a bad dad. and i dont think he is!!! like, it doesn't come as easily to him as it does to sisko, and he sometimes forgets to be gentle or kind with alexander because he's so laser focused on how things SHOULD be he forgets to the importance of taking others' feelings into account, but that's how he is ALL THE TIME with EVERYONE not just his kid. considering the circumstances i'd say he's doing well

before we get started, GREAT cameo from the duras sisters. i was initially really annoyed with their tit windows but im becoming rather fond

i really liked "the family protector guy "k'mter" at first because he said all the right things to alexander...like, it's scary not being able to defend yourself, etc. then he also was a dick to alexander and i was really exasperated...but then he IS alexander so that totally fixes it. he's angry with himself and conflicted and just wants a HUG FROM HIS DAD and that FIXED it!!! like when he said "nobody will look at you and see a human you are alone on this ship" initially it felt like racism but it being like, not quite self-loathing but just bitter experience...that's actually so clever

this is the only episode where they brought up alexander's mom kind of hating ""klingon stuff"" and how that could possibly have negatively impacted him and it only got two lines of dialogue but still. i think it's really damning that she hated her own heritage and also brought her kid up to hate it and now he's sort of out here...pretending to be human, almost, to the point where he doesn't want to participate in hsi own culture or even bond with his own father (a klingon). like it sucks so bad for him

i was afraid that the plot twist would be "k'mter talks alexander into wanting to be a warrior after all just when worf realizes he doesn't have to be" which would have been sad but a real "oh shit" of an ending. mixed feelings about them not doing that but i understand why they wanted to properly wrap things up for s7

i almost forgot but rare w for picard for bending the rules a little bit to give worf time to go to the klingon festival with his kid. credit where it is due

so there's the obvious one (rnhru) but i also vaguely feel this way about rei/gisa. HEAR ME OUT. it's not that it's bad. i understand where it comes from, i like totally get it. i just never felt as much of the chemistry there as others did, mostly bc i think nagisa doesn't get quite enough character moments. i have loved what the fandom has done with the two of them, tho!!

in general for SURE, but i got RLY into free super late in the game, so the ship wars were over. i did have someone who was like. the backseat driver when i first got into the show, and i wasn't so good at standing up for myself or my opinions back then, so for a long time i was a huge hiyo/iku hater. this has since changed, bc i deeply adore how fucked up they both are LMAO.

^^^ as stated above, hiyo/iku!!!!!!!!!! catherine's love of hiyori and all the meta analysis of hiyo/iku as parallels to mako/haru were some of my favorites, and really helped me move past the bias my ex-friend had instilled in me about the pairing.

i'm gonna be so real, i don't rly like ai as a character; i found him vaguely annoying and he doesn't really amount to anything or add to the plot other than being the wet paper bag rin steps on a bunch in the beginning of the show... his parallel with nagisa isn't very strong, and i just like. idk. that's about as far as my dislike goes for characters in this series LOL

honestly, these days it's pretty great!! the echoes of the ship wars and the obsession with who's ship is more canon annoy me tho. canon has no bearing on whether the ship is good. shipping is about extrapolation. i don't really care which ship is "more" canon. it's not a competition, and people getting obsessed with it are obnoxious. like what u like!! it's ur right!!

actually fuck it. my proposal for the skyrim main story quest rewrite  that i think keeps the bare bones the same but incorporates more lore and makes it more interesting. reputation also will be making a comeback in this along with skills and more dialogue options

>luckily for you, you’re pointed in the direction of the court mage looking for someone to do things for him if you feel the need to complain to anyone. farengar needs someone to do various tasks for him, and no one else has taken him up on the offer really given the distrust of mages in skyrim as of late. he tasks you with several things: gathering herbs, trying a new potion he developed, testing an enchanted item by killing an enemy with it. various wizard grunt tasks that also introduce various other magical skills that you can ask him to explain if you’re curious and he’ll explain them but point you in the direction of the college if you want to really learn as he cant take students right now

>last quest he gives you is to get the dragonstone someone was asking him about. he can’t pull away from his work at the moment to go get it, but he has faith you’ll probably survive. bleakfalls barrow can probably mostly stay the same, but things of note i’d include is having some details from bandit conversations that draugar aren’t normally this big of an issue. usually they can ��just sneak past them” but for some reason some are walking around awake for no reason and are way more active. just as a little detail

>you return to the jarl who thanks you, names you thane, and says he will send more guards to scout riverwood, but believes the dragon you killed is likely the one riverwood was so worried about. if you question him about “dragonborn” stuff he will explain its a nord legend, dragonborn emperors, etc, but that if anyone could answer if you’re a dragonborn or not it would be the greybeards. the greybeards don’t summon you outright at this stage, not unless you have done other stuff i’ll include in another section.

>after this they task you with recovering the horn. it is there, in the tomb, along with the tomb containing lore on the way of the voice you can read like the tablets on the way to the monastery. they mention the great elder greybeard paarthurnax, friend of the founder, but not that he’s a dragon. some lore info. you bring the horn back and are named dragon of the north. from here, the greybeards say they dont know why a dragonborn has come, but that there are many prophecies of what dragonborns accomplish. ultimately though it means you get to forge your own destiny, and they hope you will get the way of the voice in your heart. probably discuss where a lot of dragonborns did a lot of damage, like with tiber septim conquering the continent in uhm, some pretty not nice ways.

>after you gain some reputation (or maybe just asking around and then waiting a few days) an innkeeper in riverwood says she’s heard you’re looking for dragonborn information and she’s a bit of a scholar so she thinks she can help you. going to her she says shes a bit of an archaeologist so she’s learned a few things, but asks for a favor first as nothing is for free. she’s been very busy running the inn and needs you to delivery some packages of information for people who have requested it from her. one is a member of a jarl’s court, another a college of winterhold member, and something for a skooma addict in hopes he stops causing problems for other people (hiding out in an abandoned college outpost in windhelm after the people drove them out, because there are now college outposts) these are all covert messages she’s been unable to send to various blades members/contacts who are still in hiding. i just thing 5 members is better than fucking 2

>then, she tells you a lot of lore about the dragonborn. then says if you think you are dragonborn she’d be interested in seeing you in action as she’s never met someone claiming to be dragonborn and your story is interesting. she accompanies you to the dragon burial at kynesgrove where you see alduin and actually get a dialogue option with him, however short. if you have done studying and research on dovahzuul, you can actually answer him in the dragon tongue which does mildly impress him but he is still going to say you are not worth his time. you are weak and an abomination, nothing like a true dov. and then he has sahlokniir kill you like in the original.

>after this delphine asks to head back to the inn to talk about all that. she then takes you into her room, closes the door, and reveals the secret door. down there she finally reveals she is a member of the blades and apologizes for deceiving you. she says the blades are being hunted down and persecuted following the war because they threaten the thalmor’s power. but the blades serve the dragonborn, so she wants you to lead them.

>next thing she needs though is she knows she cant stay here. she’s been talking to you, going and looking at things, and the thalmor are very suspicious with this dragonborn talk afraid the empire is trying to empower themselves against them and find a new imperial family. she says there is an akaviri temple that is hidden away they can stay in and get the blades together again to act as a base of operations, and that it will be safer than being scattered and hidden hoping no one catches on. the people you delivered to previously are given messages and promise to meet you there when they can slip away with varied dialogue. skooma addict reveals it was all a rouse and he goes pretty easily. this also allows the base to have stuff like a mage, a smith, etc.

>after this she says she thinks there may be more members alive, but also the thalmor might be onto them all. she tasks you with breaking into the embassy and getting the information. unlike the very scripted quest, getting in through the party is not the ONLY way to do this. you can break in through a variety of ways if you are clever, or you could have already done it when the quest starts. all you need to do is tell delphine if ur going to the party or not. ALSO regardless of how you do it, if you are stealthy enough no one will burst in at the last second to say they caught you and hold malborn hostage despite not realistically having a way to know that fast. if you kill everyone there though or slash your way through they will know though and your cover will be blown.

>there you find documents of various blades agents and contacts they killed. as well as find out they are currently hunting for esbern. you also gather the documents on ulfric and stuff. delphine is relieved she left as it seems like they did just start to catch on to her, and then tasks you with finding esbern if he’s alive because he’s lore keeper and will know about the ruins they are in as well as the dragonborn legends

>getting esbern is pretty similar. along with the thalmor coming after you. if you are in the thieves guild or have enough money you can bribe them into helping and use various traps in the rat ways to kill the thalmor

watching fire country (up to ep 7) and i have a couple thoughts so far:

i like that it has plot. i know that may sound crazy but i was expecting it to be a bit like chicago me/fire/pd or even like greys anatomy where its like more pulled along by the setting rather than the characters. but all the characters have like theyre own little plotline and thats sick

billy burke is soo hot like how did he just get hotter with age like yummy -- usually bode's character would be my fav bc hes more my physical type (big beefy) but old always beats out beefy for me

i dont rly get body and jake's rivalry type thing. like i get why bode doesnt like jake (aka jake broke riley's heart and then she died) but also like why does jake HATE bode so much. like it feels so unwarrented because he's saying shit like "bode cant change" and bode is always going to be a bad guy. but in the flashbacks to riley's bday we see that they were best friends and they were childhood friends too so i hope that they flesh that out more and we find out what bode did to make jake hate him so much. like it cant just be that riley's dead bc like eve, vince and sharon dont still hold this much of a grudge against bode despite loving riley very much.

in general i dont rly liek jake though. like BOOO CHEATER 🍅🍅🍅 and i think that gabriela is also a little annoying (but i just got up to the part where manny stole the watch so im nervous for them too)

PSYCHONAUTS ON MAIN LETS GOOOO (BC I USUALLY POST ON AQUATO-FAMILY-CIRCUS HAHA)

The first character I first fell in love with: 

AUGUSTUS AQUATO YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS!! I'd always liked Raz of course, but when I was rewatching the first game to prep for the sequel the last like 20 minutes of it rocked me. the difference between Raz's perception of his dad vs the real deal who's just a well meaning if overprotective father captured me so violently and immediately it felt like I was being jostled around. Plus Augustus has such a cool design and his voice work is so soft yet gruff and kind. He's a delight. Idk what my opinion on the first game would be without him bc it's one of the strongest highlights in the emotions department.

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: 

It's haaaard to say bc I just liked most of them off the bat but I do think I needed some time for Cassie O'Pia to grow on me. Her level was overstimmulating the first time I played it so I didn't rly appreciate how nice it looked or how cool her archetypes really were. Love her now tho, of course, bc I love all the old people psychics

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: 

I Don't Care Much for the campers aside from Lili & Dogen. I think they're definitely fun, I've enjoyed a lot of fan work about the individual campers and do have favorites among the ones who Aren't Lili & Dogen (Clem & Crystal, Chloe) but they just don't really compel me much. Same goes for the interns but with them at least I can remember all their names and quirks off the top of my head (bc there's only 6 of them)

The character I love that everyone else hates: 

I think Gristol is an interesting character, I think he's fun! I don't post abt him much bc I get the vibe ppl get annoyed about it? Which is fair, he sucks, I would hit him with a crowbar if he was real. but he's just kind of a pathetic guy once his plans fail. He's fun to talk about and theorize about what in the world could actually make him become a better person or at least have a change of mind like the other antagonists we've been inside the heads of.

starting off, sect leader yao gets such a bad rap in fics because he'a annoying/a symbol of mindless agreement with the popular opinion, but it seems a bit mean to me. the dude got really badly hurt to protect his guys

myu in this episode is so fascinating to me. I don't think it's a stretch to say she genuinely cares about jfm even though she treats him like garbage. those two things can, and often do co-exist. she expresses her affection sideways because...what, she's embarrassed? because she's as emotionally repressed as adult jc is? because jfm would refuse it? he doesn't look very happy hearing that she's packing him something to help him. he looks resentful, if anything. man, this family is screwy

look at her being concerned and protective over her daughter! she may be villainized in a lot of scenes but honestly most fics I've read don't capture the balance between 'shrieking, cruel, bitter harpy' and 'genuinely concerned mother and wife'. the area between those two extremes is massive and I don't know that many fan works bother to explore that space without just redeeming her and pretending like she never did anything wrong, or saying 'deep down she loved them all so it's okay'. it's like they worry if they show a scrap of care or humanity then they're excusing everything else she did. but I don't agree. she has nuance but that doesn't mean she's not a horrible mother, and in real life it's not like (most) abusive parents are screaming criticisms and attacking their kids 100% of the time anyway

the way everyone talks about LP in this episode hurts me. 'our Lotus Pier" from wwx "my home" from jc "my Lotus Pier" from myu. interesting 😭

obviously this is a really hard scene to watch and I always have mixed feelings on it bc on the one hand. obviously really upsetting. on the other, myu is acting to appease a sect that will destroy their entire home if not satisfied. she is not harming him permanently, and MAY be pulling her punches so the damage isn't as bad as it looks (tho arguments like 'he can walk later!' don't rly pull weight for me bc wwx walks off horrific pain all the time)

I don't think this means she secretly cares about wwx further than as a tool to keep jc/the sect safe (she needs him functional, after all), or that it means she's a good person, but it's a strategic decision that wwx understands and accepts because of the political situation they're in.

logically myu obviously uses zidian on wwx in other cases, because he talks about it, bc it's talked about enough that lwj knows about it, and because she didn't need to close the doors (implying it's a commonplace sight that nobody would balk at) but we don't actually see any of her whipping as punishment onscreen

and yeah he's bleeding from his mouth already so it's not like it was nothing
