Coffee Date
Coffee Date
Pairing: Bucky x female reader // Bucky x y/n
Summary: Spending time with Bucky outside of The Compound.
Warnings: Fluff, angst, cursing, argument with parents, super feels, Y/N.
Word Count: 3k
Previous Part
Masterlist
Sitting on the couch anxiously waiting for Bucky to get ready, you realize you're in the same spot that he held you just a few hours ago. You smile at the thought, taking your pointer finger and tracing a circle slowly on the sofa. The bedroom door opens, and there stands Mr. Barnes, looking more dashing than usual. He's not wearing all black. For once. Instead he has a grey shirt on with an opened black jacket complimented by dark blue jeans and of course, black gloves. In that moment you feel self conscious, looking down at the too big clothes that you slept in.
"Stop." He says, almost as if he can read your mind.
"Was telepathy a part of your training or just a learned skill?" You ask, smiling.
Bucky's head tilts up as he lets out a small laugh. "It's just observation, that's all." He dismisses. I wonder if that's partially due to being a super soldier. "Ready?" He asks, walking towards the door. You stand up and follow, willingly ready to follow him anywhere.
Well if I wasn't doing the walk of shame before, I am now. Until this moment it didn't click in your head that you now had to walk through The Compound, with Bucky, the morning after a party, in his clothes. You start to dread the side glances and grins you're about to endure. Here goes nothing... Bucky takes your dress that he hung up from the night before out of the front closet, and opens the front door. You put your hands out to take the dress but he waves your hand away. "I got it." He smiles and starts walking ahead. Following in his footsteps, you snort at the image of this man, as hard as stone and literally made of metal, walking with a golden sequin dress slung over his shoulder. I wish I could take a picture of this so I could always remember.
Walking out the main entrance, you realize that you have never had any interaction with Bucky outside of The Compound. It's strange. It almost feels wrong, like keeping a secret. As you follow him to the parking garage, he bee lines for an all black classic car. Everything about him is old fashioned. As he unlocks the car, you notice that it looks strangely familiar. It's an all black, vintage impala. You shake your head and laugh. "Are we meeting up with Sam, Dean, and Castiel to hunt some demons?"
Bucky has a baffled look on his face. "Who?" He retorts. You sigh, "I'll have to make some updates to that list I made you." He lays the dress across the back seat for you as you settle into the passenger seat. Bucky then gets into the drivers seat, adjusting how close the seat is to the steering wheel. (Which isn't much considering how tall he is.) It would be so embarrassing for him to see me drive. I'm so short I practically sit on the dashboard. Why is it that I'm surprised he drives? It's normal? People have been doing it for over a hundred years and he's no exception. The car roars to life, simple and relaxing jazz music pouring out the radio. Bucky quickly looks over at you trying to read your face, waiting to see what you think of the music.
"It's nice." You say, almost as if you're now the one reading his mind. He breathes out a sigh of relief as he puts the car into drive. "So, Y/N, where am I going?"
"You'll take the interstate South to exit 41. I'll explain more once we get closer." You smile in response to his nod.
The car ride is pretty quiet except for the soft music and the wind blowing through the open windows. Putting your hand out the window, you keep your fingers together, making a small airplane motion; moving your hand up, then down, just to repeat it again and again. The breeze blows into the sleeve of the henley you're wearing, giving you a small chill to bring your arm back into the car.
You look over at Bucky, enjoying watching him do something so ordinary. Being 16 and getting your license is a newfound sense of freedom. I expect for Bucky, it's similar. He's always being monitored and tracked. His every move is under a microscope. He notices, looking over at you. "What?" He says.
"Nothing. I was just thinking... aside from the music like this-" You gesture towards the radio, "That you grew up with, do you like anything that's more modern?" You ask curiously.
Bucky makes a disgusted look. "I don't care for it much. It's too noisy and I don't understand half of what they're saying." You shrug, "I'm not sure anyone does." You let out a small laugh. "How about we have you listen through the decades? I promise we'll figure out something that you'll like."
"That sounds nice." He says in agreement. And then it dawns on you; Maybe no one has ever taken the time to try and acclimate him to our world. Everyone has always just seen him as dangerous, unhinged, and untrustworthy. In this moment, you decide to commit to this, to him. Maybe this is just what he's needed all along. It sounds so simple and yet it was completely overlooked.
Before too long, the car is on a long dirt driveway, making it's way to your house. Bucky parks the car to the side to not block the front. It looks like my parents aren't home. He turns the car off but stays seated and doesn't say a word. "Um. Would you like to come in?" You ask, curiously. You're not used to a man who is patient and let's you take you're own time. It's true what they say, they just don't make them like they used to anymore. "Yeah, I would."
You fumble with your keys feeling suddenly frenzied that Bucky is not only with you on free time, but that he's walking into your house. Placing the clutch and keys on the table you turn to face him, nervous to look him in the eyes. "Well...this is home. No fancy clearance to get in here." You laugh, nervously. He smiles, looking around. "It's..." Strange? Weird? We have horrible taste in home décor? Cluttered compared to his strangely hygienic apartment? You didn't even realize you were holding your breath waiting for his answer. "Nice. Warm.." Warm? Like it's hot in here? Or has a pleasant atmosphere?
Clearing your throat, you intertwine your hands in front of you. "Make yourself at home. I just need like, fifteen minutes. Nothings off limits!" You smile but quickly scurry into the bathroom. Closing the door behind you, taking deep breaths with your back pressed against it. Why are you so nervous? Determined, you walk to the sink and look in the mirror. That's when you realized what you've actually looked like this entire morning. Smudged make up, tangled hair, eyes still puffy from the crying just few hours prior. Staring at yourself, your jaw drops. The pure mess that stood before you. I've looked like this all morning? Stubbornly, you make a commitment to not make this your look.
After taking a record breaking fast shower, which included washing your face and hair, you run out to quickly get dressed. Since you don't have as much time as you would like, you settle for a pair of light high waisted jeans with an off the shoulder dusty rose floral shirt. You're slipping into white flats in front of the mirror where your fluffing you long, damp wet hair; Praying that the humidity gods will have mercy on you since there isn't much time. Mascara and lipstick is what you settle for when suddenly you hear voices. Voices? As in multiple?! Fuck.
You quickly open the door to find, not only Bucky, but your parents sitting on opposite sofas having a conversation. Everyone turns to look at you standing there awkwardly. "Hey..." You say nervously. Bucky stands up immediately, always the gentleman. "Hi, honey!" Mom says cheerfully from the couch. "We were just talking with your friend, James." She smiles brightly. "Apparently he knew Grandpa! They escaped Germany together during World War II! What a coincidence!" Bucky gives a half cocked smile in agreement.
Dad doesn't say anything, he just sits and continues to observe the room. More like supervising Bucky. "Wow, I had no idea." You say, bewildered.
"I saw your fathers display of awards and such. We just struck up a conversation about his time in the military." He says, well mannered.
"Yeah, it's definitely interesting." Dad finally speaks. Your attention unintentionally looks at Dads decorated wall. Awards, ribbons, pins, patches, pictures, and a flag. Luke's flag. You exchange a look with your father, the warning look.
"Well..." You start, trying to change the subject. "We were just going to grab some coffee. I'll be back later." You say pleasantly, trying to break the tension in the room. Mom and dad stand up, walking over to hug you goodbye. Dad leans in close, close enough to whisper something only you are meant to hear. Although, Bucky can probably hear it anyway. "Be careful." He says cautiously. Pulling back, he grips both of your shoulders and looks into your eyes. Mom walks over to Bucky, "It was nice meeting you, James! I hope we see you again soon." She says, charming as always. "Thank you." Bucky says with a smile. He takes a few steps forward towards your father, extending his gloved right hand. "Sir." He says respectfully. Dad hesitates for a moment but reluctantly reaches his hand out, shaking his hand sternly. "James."
"Bye, guys! Love you!" It comes out just a little too quick. Walking towards the door you hear Bucky's footsteps behind you. A sigh of relief escapes from your mouth once you're outside. Being too afraid to make eye contact, you stare at the ground walking back to the car. Getting in, putting the seatbelt on, and sitting in silence. Bucky does the same.
"I'm sorry about that..." You murmur, still staring down at the floor.
"Hey..." He starts. "It's okay. I'm used to that sort of response from people by now." Bucky says, trying to make you feel better, but there was a sorrowful undertone in his voice. He's trying to comfort me? Maybe he should have my job instead. Aside from The Compound, I've never seen any sort of interaction between Bucky and other people. Is this why he never goes out unless it's for a mission? But why here? Why now?
"Well, I'm not most people." You respond, looking over your shoulder slightly at him. "You can't scare me off that easily." He gives a small smile in return, but searching your face at the same time. He's looking to see if there is any untruth in what you're saying. There's been multiple promises made to Bucky that were never kept.
Bucky is sitting across the small cafe table from you with furrowed brows, looking at your drink. âThat doesnât look like coffee.â He says observantly. You let out a small laugh in return. âItâs called a latte. Coffee has come a long way from just adding milk and sugar.â Gesturing towards his generic drink. âItâs okay. Itâs what I would expect my grandfather to drink.â You add, snickering. His eyes widen in surprise.
âWow! So thatâs how itâs going to be? This generation has no respect for its elders.â Together you laugh. Itâs clear that he hasnât had much interaction with the outside world. His life had been revolved around Hydra, reconstructing his mind, and making amends to right the wrongs that he had done. Aside from Natasha, Bucky hasnât had much experience with women. Especially ones that could be sarcastic and rambunctious.
âIs it weird?â You ask, curiously. âHmm?â He asks questioningly in response as he drinks his coffee. âWell, for everyone else, our world and technology gradually changed over the decades. I would imagine it was a bit of a culture shock for you.â You say, sympathetically. Bucky cups both of his hands around the mug, thinking intensely as he as he watches the small amount of steam float upward from the hot beverage.
âThe advancements are amazing to see. I never thought I would have seen as much as I have in my lifetime. But-â He stops, choosing his words carefully. âI grew up with values that seem to have gotten lost with time.â
âLike women only belong barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen?â You challenge.
âNo.â Bucky says sternly and very visibly annoyed. âI believe everyone should have the free will to choose what they want out of life.â He says with a bite of truthful experience. âAs I was sayingâŠâ He shoots a dominant stare that says 'Don't interrupt me again.' "Growing up, family was the center of everything. It was an honor to start a new life and create a household of your own. But-" Bucky shakes his head disapprovingly. "Family and marriage doesn't seem to be sacred anymore. It's just something I always thought I would have one day and..." He looks down at the coffee, eyes filled with remorse. "And I never will."
"Never say never, Bucky." You reach across the table with your right hand to touch his, but he quickly pulls back. "Please..." He closes his eyes, taking a deep breath. "You can't trust me. I don't even trust myself." Leaning in, he says softly. "I don't want to hurt you."
He really hasn't learned to have confidence in himself. We can work on that. Bringing your hands down into your lap, you nod empathetically. "I understand. " Nodding in agreement. The air suddenly felt as though it became heavy, making it difficult to breathe. You two finish your coffee in mostly silence except for the pleasant exchanges about the weather, the cute dog walking passed the café with it's owner, and of course, the mundane question of, 'So, how are you liking the new job?'.
You both politely say 'thank you' to the workers on your way out of the café. Bucky making sure he's at least two steps ahead to open and hold the door for you. "Thanks." You say, timidly. He opens his mouth to respond when something behind him catches your attention. You grin and eyes go wide. "We put it out into the universe, and it answered!"
Confused, Bucky turns around to see what you're talking about. A record store. You ballet sashay to the next building down, twirling around to face Bucky again. "Come on!!" You wave your hands for him to follow. He hesitantly obliges, standing with you in front of the store.
"I don't know..." Bucky says unsure as he looks through the window.
"Pleeease?" You look up at him with pouty lips and begging eyes.
"Fine." He says, giving in. You jump and down in excitement.
"But it's because I want to! Not because of the puppy dog eyes. "He smiles as you skip into the store.
You go your separate ways, you with a mission to find the important music that everyone should know, and him to look busy to amuse you. Picking through records of each genre, you look up every once in a while to see Bucky staring.
"Has anyone ever told you that you have a staring problem?" You ask playfully. He smiles, "Eh. Maybe once or twice." You both let out a small laugh.
"Ok so...Here's what I've picked." You say as you hand a stack of vinyl records to Bucky. He starts thumbing through each one, "Queen, The Beatles, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye...These sound intense." He let's out a nervous laugh.
"We'll start with these. I'm guessing you might like more classic rock but I guess we will see!"
Bucky drops you back off at home to get the interrogation questions from your parents.
"What are you thinking?!" Dad says frustrated.
"What do you mean?"
"Not only is the Winter Soldier your case, but you two are friends going out for coffee?!"
"Dad I-...I don't see what's wrong here?" You say, but know deep down what he's about to say next.
"What's wrong here is that my daughter is spending all day, everyday, with the most deadliest assassin in history!"
You take a deep breath, knowing that this conversation would happen eventually. "Dad, I-...I want to help him."
Mom is standing off to the side, fingers up to her mouth swaying gently back and forth restlessly. "Honey, she's not doing anything wrong here-"
He cuts her off. "It does not matter!" He shouts back. "We've already lost one child to war, I refuse to lose another one to some super solider who may lose his temper!"
"Dad, It-It's not like that. I'm being safe, cautious. There are many protocols at The Compound to ensure safety!"
"But they don't extend to outside of The Compound." Dad sighs, trying to calm down. "I just don't want anything to happen to you." He takes a deeper breath this time. "I saw the way you look at him..."
"What?" You respond, shocked and wide eyed.
"Honey,...he's right." Mom chimes in. "Even if you don't realize it yet, you have a soft spot for James."
"I'm not doing this." You throw your hands up and storm into your room, shutting the door just a little too hard behind you. Letting out a deep breath through your teeth, you hear a faint *Ding* from your phone.
It's lit up on the bed with a text notification.
Bucky: You were right. Thanks for today, Y/N.
Seeing his name on your phone makes your heart skip a beat. And this is the moment that you realize that your parents are right.

South Park
HI THANKS
đ controversial but i HATE sheila her bitchass just pisses me off so muchhh i mean you have to suck pretty bad to have an entire movie where youâre the antagonist for declaring war on canada and the movie features a song about how much of a bitch you are and aside from the movie sheâs not much better in the series itself?? i mean thereâs definitely worse moms in the show than her (liane đš) but at least theyâre likeable characters i guess? idk man. i will say tho that i liked her in its a jersey thing that was her one redeemable moment
đ my birthgiver was a huge south park fan (back in the 90s apparently) so i was probably bound to watch it at some point. but specifically my lovely mutual toki was into it during the summer and i was like damn i better actually check this shit out. and i did.
đ *clears throat* âïžđ€ in 1992 and then 1995, students at the university of colorado boulder trey parker and matt stone created 2 stop motion animated short films with paper cut outs. these shorts were titled âthe spirit of christmas: jesus vs frostyâ and âthe spirit of christmas: jesus vs santaâ and many today consider these to be season 0 of south park. jesus vs santa was made for a friend who loved the first video, and wanted a second he could send to his friends as a christmas card. it was copied and passed around, going viral in a pre-internet way, it caught the attention of comedy central and the first episode of south park â cartman gets an anal probe â was made!! and then they got a series, and stopped doing everything with paper cutouts and instead moved to computer animation. jesus vs frosty is referenced in season 6 by tweek and stan in one of my favorite line deliveries of the whole show. jesus vs santa is referenced in season 4âs episode âa very crappy christmasâ in which the boys recreate it. okay im done. im not proud to admit that all of that information came from the top of my head really i know too much about this.
đ tbh i have lots of favorite characters and thereâs very few that i donât actually like but my ultimate favorite character is my pathetic loser skrunkly son kyle<33 i love him he is literally meeee bro is literally the only guy in the show with more than two brain cells he knows whatâs up fr đđ»đđ» heâs an angry little bitch heâs always preaching about what he learnt in some gay little speech and he actually has one of the most annoying voices in the history of ever how can you not love this guy. youâre a ginger, a jew, and from jersey thatâs three strikes kyle youâre out đ«”

SMUT!
âbabe.â kenny quietly grunted right into clydeâs ear. it was firm. but it was playful, too. a tad whiny. âcome on, shush up.â and he followed it with a long little nip to his ear. clyde frustratedly mewled into kennyâs hand. it literally wasnât fair, it was like it was on purpose. it had to be.
heâs already cum once, all right into kennyâs palm. heâs been jerking him off and working him open on two fingers for the past- fuck. he didnât even know how long. all this to not already have gotten dicked down yet. his legs were already horribly shaking to keep himself propped up like this into the air. his dick went limp when he came, and then kenny started coaxing him back up by whispering shit into his ear and touching him just fucking right. he was over sensitive and it was a combo of insanely good and terrible all at once.
god. fuck his stupid boyfriend for knowing how to make his brain turn to mush.
it was so. god. damn. hot. kenny came over to swim, originally. but, they never made it to the pool. kenny didnât even let clyde get the rest of his clothes off yet. he couldnât remember the last time south park had been this inordinately hot. and, just overall miserable. the kind of sticky wet heat thatâs unbearable.
or, maybe, it really wasnât. but regardless, the combination of his jeans sticking to his legs and having to shove his face into the pillows was making him uncomfortably sweaty. heâs been pleading kenny to just finally- fuck him what felt like hours. like just. rip his damn jeans off and have at it. he didnât care.
but, no. kenny instead would gently kiss his cheek, or nibble on it, either or. and flat out just ignore his pleading. he usually wasnât the adamant on teasing him. he usually wouldâve been nicer, kissing and praising him so gentlyâ and until he was cumming dry into the sheets. but he was being so mean. he couldnât take it anymore. his head felt like it was going to explode from frustration hormones and pure need.
âjesus fuck, ken.â clyde cried into kennyâs hand, his voice hoarse and shaky. âplease. youâre being so mean to me.â he babbled desperately. kenny shushed him and wiped up the tears welling up into his eyes with his coarse thumb. he licked up his neck, planting tender little kisses along the way. and then he began working his teeth into his skin, making hard enough nibbles to leave red marks.
kenny was stroked clydeâs hair back, already matted to his forehead. clyde slumped against his mattress, losing his balance. kenny kept firm on top of him. clyde let his head loll into his pillows and he groaned, mouth agape as kenny made a line to his collarbone. kenny still had one hand quite literally occupied by being up his ass, and the other busy touching everywhere else.
okay. heâs sick of it.
âken-ny.â clyde dragged out his name, lifting his head from the pillows. ânghhh, fuck me, please. please.â kenny pressed his lips into the hollow of clydeâs throat, sucking at the stupidly sensitive flesh there, before licking and biting down lightly. clyde choked on a breath and let out a strangled sob as kenny gave one final flick of his tongue on his adamâs apple.
and finallyâ in a motion that was way too quick for clyde to register, kenny lifted himself from off his back and stood up, yanking clyde up in his arms with him. clyde made a small yelp. if kenny wasnât holding him so firm, he wouldâve toppled over.
âstop fucking with me!â clyde made a soft pout, peering up at kenny through his eyelashes. kenny gave him a mocking pout, jutting his bottom lip out dramatically. clyde kicked his ankle, and kenny cut it out with a little snicker.
âokay.â kenny said in a low voice, rubbing clydeâs side. âwhat do i have to give you to shut you the fuck up?â clyde huffed indignantly.
âdick.â clyde grumbled.
âi can do that for you,â kenny hummed, letting his fingers dance across his shoulders. âbut you have to be quiet, seriously.â
oh yeah. forgot to mention, butâ also, fuck his dad for being home.
they were already way on with this when clyde heard his home security go off. and kenny had pulled off from kissing him to go quickly lock the bedroom door. he started on, telling clyde that he wasnât sure he wanted his football coachâ
because, apparently, when youâre like roger donovan; unmarried, both kids are kind of losers, you go coach varsity football
â to walk into clydeâs bedroom and find kenny just wrapped up in there blowing his sons back out. and then clyde told him to never use the phrase âblowing his back outâ ever again. and kenny did. so clyde smacked him.
but clyde knew it was all bullshit. kenny really did not give that much of a flying fuck about being on the football team. he was only saying it to get clyde to beg. and against his pride, clyde did. he always did. heâs gotten used to it. and he fucking likes it, too.
clyde didnât use any words to respond, he just whimpered and grabbed for kennyâs jaw and smashed their lips together. kenny made a small grunt in approval, hungrily attacking clydeâs bottom lip while he tried to pull him down again. clyde obliged. he wanted nothing more than kenny to just pin him to the bed. fuck him nice and good.
kenny laid clyde back onto the bed, coming to plop on his knees between his legs to lift them up and pull his jeans the rest of the way off him.
âthese jeans are nice, look good on you.â tug. âwhereâre they from?â final tug. clyde kicked them off his ankles.
âcraig thrifted them for me,â kenny grabbed at his boxers, which were already pulled down halfway past his hips. kenny hummed, tugging them off his feet.
âcraig is gay.â another small hum. clyde gave a slow nod, but before he got a chance to laugh about it, kenny looped his arms underneath his thighs and laid his head between them. clyde shuddered. he kissed his inner thighs gently, peering up at him. wait for it. one, two, âyou should consider sitting on my face, you know? i personally think itâs a good idea.â clyde squirmed a bit, kennyâs muffled voice tickling him.
ânuh uh. iâd literally suffocate you.â he whined, and then kenny raised an eyebrow at him.
âiâd literally not care?â kiss, kiss, kiss. âyâlook so good for me, doll.â clyde instantaneously flushed. he flicked his forehead.
âdo not call me that. youâre cringe.â kenny gave him another look.
âhmmm, i dunno. your dick is kinda leaking on my face.â kenny grabbed the base and gently kissed the tip. all quips died off from clyde, his breath hitching.
âf-fair,â kenny started lapping around it with his tongue and clydeâs eyes rolled back. the ball of kennyâs tongue piercing was rolling around the slit. heâs already been close to orgasming again like, ten minutes ago. âken, stop. iâm close- nhhh, shit.â he gripped onto his hair, whimpering pathetically as kenny started swallowing around him. kenny gives some of the wettest, messiest head ever and it makes clyde insane a little bit.
his dick is so fucking sensitive. kenny placed both hands on either of his thighs and went all the way down until his nose was flush against his pelvis. oh, shit. he moved his tongue around. he began gently sucking at his balls. kenny gave him a little minuscule flick of his tongue right after, sending more and more shockwaves throughout his entire body. he panted, gripping for a pillow to drown out his moans again. he whined uselessly into it, going ham with his teeth against the fabric.
his hips began stuttering, legs shaking around kennyâs shoulders. he felt the feeling of anticipated burst in his abdomen, and carefully tugged at kennyâs hair to get him off his dick, what followed was a wet pop sort of noise and a small grunt. kenny watched out of breath as clyde spurted cum all over his stomach, seeing him shake.
kenny carefully wiped his mouth, and brought his hand to trace clydeâs tummy, poking him ever so lightly. he heard clydeâs muffled mewling and groans, legs dropping and gluing themselves to the bed. kenny kissed him on the stomach.
âyâ good?â kenny chuckled a little, clyde sluggishly whacked his shoulder in response. âgot anything so i can clean you up?â clyde lifted the pillow off, his face sweaty and red, hair sticking. he looked a little dazed. he muttered something of a no. he lay limp, that is until he felt kenny dragging his tongue up his stomach and he instinctively went to fold his arms over himself.
âdonât do that!â clyde whined. kenny chuckled and mockingly pouted, lazily tracing into his skin.
âit starts to smell weird though.â kenny laid his head onto his chest, chin digging into his ribs. clyde softly stroked his hair, kenny closed his eyes softly and smiled in content.
âfeels weird,â he murmured. âand i donât like you staring at me so hard.â this made kenny crack an eye open at him.
âwhy not!â kenny gripped onto his slightly pudgy thigh with a stray hand. âlemme see you babe, youâre hot.â he shrugged his shoulders a bit, closing his eyes again.
âstop it!â he whined, holding his arms over his tummy self consciously. and with some random surge of energy, kenny stood up and went to the headboard. âken?â but kenny shushed him and began wedging two pillows behind it and the wall. clyde silently got himself to flip over and arch his back. eventually, kenny came behind him, gripping onto his hips and bringing them back. he shuddered when he felt kennyâs now wet dick probing his hole, rubbing between his ass. he lightly smacked one side of it.
âyou should let me eat you out.â clyde impatiently whacked the mattress. kenny made a low snicker and grabbed the base of his cock and lined himself up. while rubbing slow circles into clydeâs hip comfortingly, he pushed inside slow, hesitating a little to let clyde and himself adjust. with a reassuring groan from clyde, he slowly dragged himself deeper and clyde whimpered, jolting forward a little and whining into the sheets.
the pain wasnât all too bad, albeit he was getting fingerfucked beforehand for a good minute. but the sensation still was overwhelming, bordering off the aftershocks of his last orgasm, his body was nearing going limp completely. kenny pressed their bodies flushed together, leaning his torso over his back and wrapping his arms around his middle, letting his head hang over clydeâs shoulder. with a shaky breath, he kissed his neck once, and then his shoulder.
kenny pulled out just a bit, groaning into clydeâs shoulder. pausing for a moment, and then slamming right back in, nudging his prostate. it elicited a loud slap from their skin contact, and even worse, clydeâs bed still creaked anyway. that made them both jump back. kenny stilled for a second and clyde looked up from the pillow.
âyour dad is definitely gonna hear that.â kenny whispered, immediately going to slowly pull out. clyde felt so fucking good, and he clenched impossibly tight around him as he did, not trying to let go of the feeling of finally getting to be full. he whimpered softly, grinding his hips back into nothing. âwe gotta move.â kenny took a look around clydeâs bedroom.
âto where?â clyde whimpered, shifting to lay flat onto the bed. kenny hummed and the suddenly pat his back.
âthe wall?â kenny rubbed his side. also, silently hoping heâd say yes. heâs been itching to try it. but, clyde merely shook his head.
âi canât stand,â he whined and pouted. kenny nodded understandingly and leaned down to kiss his shoulder briefly. another pause to think. he pat his back again and eased off of him, standing up by the bed.
âalright, let me help you up.â clyde took his hand, and expecting to just get yanked up ( and kind of hoping, too. because god is he eager ), but kenny gently got him to stand. he walked him over to his fucking desk chair, and kenny sat down with a small little smirk. he pat his lap.
âyouâre insane,â he whined, whilst still easing into his lap. kenny almost instantly got his hands on him. he very openly, and proudly, loved feeling him up. it wasnât a secret honestly. he sucked onto his shoulder and put both hands onto his waist, digging his fingers into his soft flesh. clyde turned his head back pressed stray pecks into his cheeks.
kenny trailed his hands up, not hesitating to flick his thumb over his nipple. clyde mewled in surprise. and,âyou should let me pierce these.â kenny notoriously did piercings in the school bathroom for cash. he also did all of his own, and would always try to talk clyde into letting him do one. it was always a no.
âim not letting you pierce my fucking nipples!â kenny fake pouted for a moment, and then he stole a little peck from clyde. clyde huffed, and began to grind slowly back onto his dick impatiently. kenny gripped him tighter and softly whimpered, his eyes drooping. clyde gripped his jaw and pecked his lips. kenny rubbed circles into his hips.
âyou donât wanna face me?â kennyâs voice was a little softer than before.
âyou want me to?â kenny nodded sheepishly and clyde snorted. he maneuvered his body around and kenny instantly wrapped his arms around him again so they could be as close as possible. clyde pressed messy kisses along his jawline, lifting his body up a little so he would be able to reach under himself. he linked his fingers around the base of kennyâs cock and dropped his hips over it to position it correctly, and carefully slid down on him, shuddering and his mouth agape.
kenny immediately just kissed him. mainly to cut off any noises. saying in love is cheesy and all but kenny definitely was a tad insane about clyde. surprisingly, clyde started instantly rocking back and forth on his dick, kenny continually swallowing all his whimpers and moans. he eventually shrugged out a shoulder for clyde to instead rest his head into to quiet his noises.
when clyde pulled away, kenny looked up at him, tears in his dazed out eyes spilling down his cheeks, lips parted. kenny kissed away a tear. when they first started having sex, clyde had to reassure him for a while that him crying wasnât because he was in pain. he said it was because he felt good, but kenny also knows heâs sensitive in general. it was easy to overwhelm him. the pure vulnerability of it was so indescribably sexy. and hearing him groan and cry on his cock was absolutely wonderful.
âyouâre doing so good.â kenny rasped. he kissed his tear stained cheeks over and over. âso good.â clyde slumped over and pressed his nose into the crook of his neck. kenny just kept his hands onto his waist, rubbing into his sides. clyde continued to slam down onto him, his body trembling more and more each time. kenny wasnât sure how long he was gonna last.
clyde, on the other hand, took just a few more thrusts to still completely and bite down roughly into his shoulder. his cry was muffled. he came all over kennyâs stomach, writhing and letting tears fall onto his shoulder. kenny groaned at how much tighter he became, putting his hands under his thighs. he took a second before starting to bounce him slowly on his dick.
âkenny, kenny,â he sobbed into his shoulder. kenny grunted and shushed him, kissing the side of his face and slowing down his thrusts. clydeâs breath evened out eventually, the only sound being the soft slap of their skin coming into contact with each other. when clyde relaxed back down into his lap, kennyâs finger traced lazy circles on his lower back. clyde sighed and bit his lip. his body felt like jelly.
âalmost done, babe.â kenny said between his teeth. clyde murmured something, coming up to look at him with bleary eyes. âyouâre so cute.â that made clyde furrow his brows at him.
âcute is a weird word,â he whined between pants. âi am not cute.â
âyeah you are. you might think youâre all handsome and buffâ and you are for sure,â he grinned a bit. âone of those things.â clyde smacked his arm weakly. âbut youâre likeâ also cute, yâknow?â clyde shook his head.
âwhatever.â clyde mumbled. âyouâre stâ fuck.â he let that part slip out too loud. kenny had bucked his hips up faster and deeper. it took clyde by surprise. âkennny!â kenny snickered a little.
âsorry.â he just continued bouncing him up and down, not even letting him respond. clyde involuntarily tightened around him, sputtering whines and sobs. his mind blanked. his thrusts weâre getting sloppier as his chest started to get tight, his own legs shaking. he was close.
kenny wrapped a hand around clydeâs half limp dick, stroking the underside with his thumb. clydeâs body recoiled and he shook, completely overstimulated. he just whimpered louder into his neck.
âyou feel so good,â kenny groaned. he tilted his hips up again, grinding into clyde relentlessly. âso good for me, such a good boy. fuck,â he panted next to clydeâs ear. with a drawn out groan, he buried his face into clydeâs hair and came. clyde shuddered, mouth going slack. clyde fucking came dry, dick twitching and drooping to rest in the puddle of his own cum on kennyâs stomach.
kenny tipped his head back, breathing hard and digging his nails into clydeâs skin. clyde body became flaccid, clinging loosely to kenny. he was successfully and totally fucked out. he giggled a little dazedly, feeling loopy and really, really weirdly warm. kenny sighed, patting him on the ass absentmindedly.
he began to lean back, oddly, it felt like the ground was slipping from under them.
wait. shit.
clyde yelped as the chair fell back. the crash that it elicited was obscenely loud. and it hurt. clyde heard a door from down the hall open.
âclyde?â footsteps approached quickly. kennyâs eyes went a little wide and he shook his leg from out the chair. âclyde, are you okay?â his dad knocked on the door.
oops.

@saturnpanther thanks for the dream ramble prompt!! here's what i got written in roughly 10 minutes:
InhibitionâCrenny
He should stop. Itâs the loudest thought echoing in his brain as he follows Kenny down the sidewalk, somewhere between 2 and 3am. Craigâs a light sleeper though and Kenny knows after all this time that he doesnât lock his window. Heâs an easy target for these witching hour shenanigans. Kenny grins back at him as if he can feel the daggers Craig is glaring at him and likes it. Craig scoffs. He wishes Kenny wouldnât pester him, that he had a shred of inhibition in his body.
That would be nice, and boring.
âDo I get to know this time?â Craig asks.
âDo you wanna?â Kenny raises an eyebrow.
âYes. Literally every time.â
âOh yeah,â Kenny hums, considering this. He turns back on his heels, his back once again to Craig. So tonight would not be the night, then, that Kenny would finally tell him where they were going before they got there. Craig sighs, resigned, and keeps walking.
If heâs being fair, he does enjoy these walks. South Park has gotten so commercial recently, full of so many noises and people that Craig doesnât care for. Itâs nice to have this quiet secret, just the two of them at night while the snow was turning from powder to something more substantial. The stars are high up in the skyâ the spring constellations in winter, telling Craig just how late (early?) it is. He reaches up and traces the question mark of Leo with his finger.
âWhich one is that one?â Kenny asks. Heâd stopped when Craig had.
âLeo,â Craig replies.
âOh, the lion one,â Kenny grins. âCool.â He growls, making a claw motion with his hands. Craig snorts, quiet, more just a quick breath out his nose. Maybe he should take a page out of Kennyâs book and drop his inhibitions a bit. He cocks his hand in a paw motion and gives the most halfhearted growl to ever exist, but the way Kennyâs eyes light up are as if he just performed a one-man performance of the Lion King.
#i really like the idea of this scene tbh đ„° i have no idea where these boys are going but theyre gonna have a journey getting there#feeling soft feelings... appreciation and something more ya know :)#south park#sp crenny#edit realized i should've tagged u lol

Don't Pretend (Vincenzo)
Y/N is a very successful civil rights investigator and a friend of Cha-young. Cha-young called her when she needed help building their case against Babel. Chairman Han seo thinks she's a threat, but Jun woo thinks otherwise.
Pairings: Joon woo x reader (romantic), Cha young x reader (platonic), Vincenzo x reader (platonic)
--
I didn't even set foot in my apartment yet and Cha young called me for help. I love her and all but it seems like she's always in trouble with someone. She wants me to meet her at a theater because she wants me to meet someone.
She said it was urgent, so I didn't even stop by for food, so this person better be the President of South Korea or something.
I step out of my vehicle and walk through the entrance to see a swarm of reporters surrounding a group of people. One of those people was Cha young and I spin around on my heel, not in the mood for talking to reporters.
"Y/N!" Cha young calls. "Damn it," I say to myself before turning back around. "You didn't mention there would be reporters," "Surprise," she says.
I shake my head and she shrugs. I look to a random spot outside and say, "Oh my God, is that Jay Park and his new girlfriend? Look over there by the garden!" You point to a random couple that was walking past the garden.
"Jay Park! Where?" The swarm of reporters then went outside towards the garden. I roll my eyes and said, "They're like ants searching for food." I make my way towards the group and Cha young links her arm with mine.
"I missed you," she says and I grumble lowly. "Y/N, this is Vincenzo Cassano. Mr. Cassano, this is my colleague and close freind, Y/N," Cha young introduces.
"Seems like you're far from home, Cassano." I say in Italian, much to his surprise. He raises a brow at me and says, "I could say the same for you. The last I saw you, you were handling business in Siena."
"And you were handling business in Milano. Nice touch with the garden. It was beautiful," I compliment and he smiles. "Thank you, I try."
Cha young looks between me and Cassano and says, "You two know each other?" "Vaguely," I comment. "And who are they?" I add, motioning to the older woman, older man and two young men. "The enemy," Cha young says nonchalantly.
"For enemies, you seem awfully close," "Believe me, we're not," an older woman snaps. "Don't get your panties in a twist. I'm just making an observation." I snark. "Excuse me?" she steps closer to me and Cha young does the same.
"Careful, she hates being touched." Cassano states. "I'm heading back to my loft," I say before giving Cassano and Cha young a nod.
"Who are you?" The older woman asks but there was something about her that urked me. I give her a once over before walking back through the entrance.
--
"She's Y/N Y/L/N, a civil rights investigator and the top in her firm. Not only that, but she has correlations with mafias across three different continents. She has the resources to take us down," Han seo says and a small smile creeps on Joon woo's lips. "Why are you smiling?" Han seo asks.
"She's very accomplished," Jun woo answers. "And it's her accomplishments that scare me, brother." "Don't be. I'll handle her," "Handle her how? Like kill her?" "I don't want to, she seems interesting. But I will if she continues to be a threat to us."
--
I have to get back into the my workouts. I feel like I've put on a little weight while I was in Italy. It's not like I had any choice. Telling Nonna no is like kicking a puppy, no one can do it. Nonna offers you food, you always say yes. That's an unwritten rule that everyone follows.
My sneakers wrap around perfectly around my feet and I could barely feel the ground when I ran through the city park. I always make sure that it was light enough for things to be visible but early enough that there was only a handful of people in the park itself.
I was on my third and final loop when I saw the black van move across the street and park next to the sidewalk I was running on. I stopped to catch my breath for a moment before running in the other direction. I hear a door open and several footsteps run behind me.
I grab the nearest thick branch I could find and wait until they were close enough. I swing the branch as hard as I could, hitting three men in the face. They fell to the ground and I focus on the two guys rushing towards me at once. I duck around one and punched the other in the throat, leaving me with just the one man.
I bring up my guard and shuffle my feet but the man runs in back into the van and drives away. "You okay?" A voice asks from behind me and I feel a hand on my shoulder. I spin around and kick his leg out from under him. He falls to the ground and I apply pressure to his chest.
"Relax. I'm not the bag guy here." He strains. "Wait a minute, I know you. You're the-" "A friend of Cha young." He places his hand on my outter thigh and I say, "I wouldn't know if friend is a term I would use. She called you the enemy."
"She was referring to the rest of them," "What ever helps you sleep at night." I finally stand up from his chest and he takes a deep breath.
He stands up from the ground and that's when I notice that he was shirtless. My eyes softly scan the smooth, tanned skin of his pecks. My eyes snap up to meet his and he cocks his head teasingly.
"Speechless?" "I'll never give you that satisfaction," I snark as he steps closer to me so I have to look straight up just to meet his eyes.
The next thing I knew, I am washing off his touch and scent in the shower. Well trying to anyway. Halfway through my shower, he decided to join me and trail his hands down my hips.
I moan softly when he presses my body the cold tiled wall and kisses my neck. He hooks one of my legs around his waist and slowly trails his hand along my inner thigh.
My phone blades, scaring us both. I pull away from him and he says, "Just ignore it." "She's been calling me all day, she already knows that something is up." I walk out of the shower and dry my feet before wrapping a towel around my body.
I answer the phone and Cha young yells, "About time! Where have you been!" "I, uh, I went shopping. There was no food in my refridgerator or cabinets." I answer calmly.
"Don't you have a maid for that?" "I'm not lazy enough to have a maid, Cha young." "Well, you had me worried. I thought someone took you hostage or something." She finally says without yelling.
"You really think they are capable of that?" "They are capable of many things. Be careful, Y/L/N." Vincenzo says in Italian.
"Bene, ciao," I say before hanging up. I turn around to see Joon woo inches away from my face. "Did you enjoy the past few hours?" I ask. He steps closer to me and motions to the scratches on his chest from my nails.
"What do you think?" He says softly. There's just something about him speaking softly that makes my knees buckle. The worst part is, I think he knows that.
"Good, because that's the last time that'll happen." "Do you know how many times I've heard that? And how many crawled back to me?" He says cockily. "Yes, but I'm sure you'll be the one crawling." I say, tapping his chest before walking out of the bathroom.
--
My worst nightmare came true today. One of my closest friends was murdered last night by a rival mob leader. The boss says not to engage them and that he will handle it, and my anger dwindled down to sadness. I took a day to myself and cried my eyes out in my bed.
Goosebumps littered my body as cold chills rolled through. I wince as the cold, damp fabric of the t-shirt grazes over my warm back and I took it as a sign to hop in the shower. Squatting down on the shower floor, I duck my head under the scalding hot water. The water rakes through my hair and trails down my body when I hear the doorbell ring.
I dry myself and slide on some shorts and a sweatshirt Joon woo gifted me in attempt to see me again. It took Joon woo two weeks before realizing that I wasn't going back to him. After wards, he sent me flowers, teddy bears, sweatshirts and a 10k watch that looked like it costed a fortune.
I gave the teddy bears and flowers to random people in the street and the watch to Cha young and the look on Jun woo's face when he realized it was the gift he gave was aboslutely priceless. But I gladly kept the sweatshirts because they were too cute to give up. I walk down the stairs and wipe away my tears before opening the door.
Joon woo stands in the door way and he looked happy about something. But his smile soon falls when he sees that I've been crying. "You've been crying. What happened?" He tried reaching for my face but I slap his hand away. "Stop. Don't pretend like you care about me." I snap but he lunges forward to grab my face.
I take a few steps back and his hold on my face softens. "Of course, I care about you." He says, caressing my cheeks with his thumbs. He takes my hand and leads me to the bedroom. I sniffle and wipe away more of my tears. I always hated crying in front of people, it made me feel weak.
He grabbed the remote and sat on the bed. He pulled himself to the head of the bed and takes me with him. He pulls me between his legs and leans my back into his chest.
He searches through the channels and stopped at a cartoon before wrapping one arm along the clavicle of my neck. He wraps the other across my waist and says, "You don't have to talk if you don't want to."
"Why are you here, Joon woo?" I croak, wiping away my tears. "We won our settlement case and I wanted to celebrate with you." "We're literally enemies," "Isn't that how it always is? Enemies and polar opposites attracted to each other?" He asks and I look up to meet his gaze from behind.
He examines my face as he waits for a response. "I guess that is how it goes, isn't it " I lean on his shoulder and he presses the side of his face against my temple. "I lost my best friend today," I add with a sigh.

Prompt 47!
Sorry this one is so late! I hope you like it!
47. Cuddling under blankets
It takes her two days to cave.
Two days to feel the frost in her joints, her perspiration crystalise, her breaths escape in clouds of bitten mist, and god, Beth thinks, staring up at the roof of the cabin, half expecting stalactites. This is not what she had in mind when Rio said safe house.
Not that she was entirely sure what she did have in mind before - - well. Just before. Had never spent all that much time thinking about where it was Rio went when everything had gone south, but if â gun to her head â sheâd had to guess, sheâd have thought: luxury apartments, sundrenched holiday houses, riverside lodges.
A place his G Wagon would look at home in the driveway, the parking lot, pulled up on the curb.
Somewhere heâd look at home.
The thought makes her wet her chapped lips, sink deeper into the threadbare blankets on top of her still-trembling body, and her gaze dart sideways to where Rio crouches stoking the last flickering embers of the fire.
Itâs raining. or rather, itâs sleeting. Shards of ice colliding with the thick glass windows, escaping down the chimney to make the flames spit and smoke below, and when it had first started, Beth had watched Rio cuss. Watched him prod balls of tattered newspaper and sticks sheâd collected and tried to dry yesterday, but it hadnât done much good. The rain had gotten heavier and the fire smaller and sheâd seen the chill find him. Pink his nose, ears, stiffen his fingers, and sheâd though good, sheâd thought he deserves it, but sheâd still left him the last of the hot water in the flask even as her own fingers were turning blue.
Now, she holds them close to her mouth, exhales, but her breath is barely warm, and she canât stop trembling, so she shoves them between her legs instead, and looks at him across the tiny, dim cabin, and says what sheâs been saying for the last half hour:
âItâs going to go out.â
Heâd ignored her the last time, and scoffed the first time, but now at least itâs enough to make him spin around and look at her, bundled upright on the only bed in the place, the look on his face like heâd forgotten she was even there, and Beth huffs, tilting her chin towards the fire.
âPoking at it isnât going to miraculously fix the chimney leak,â she adds this time, a shiver rolling up her spine as Rio stares back at her, the erratic glow from the dying flames licking across his features â his plush lips and sharp nose and swollen eye, but god, itâs not that. Itâs just - - itâs the cold. Thatâs all, and when his nostrils flare a little, itâs too easy to add: âWell, itâs not,â because sheâs right.
Across the room, Rio finally drops the fire poker back to the tray and stalks his way towards the tiny sofa where he slept last night, tucking his arms high up into his armpits as he drops onto it, leaving his back to her as he hunches forwards, making himself as small as possible in the frigid space of the cabin.
And she doesnât feel bad.
She doesnât.
This entire situation is his fault.
It was him who showed up three weeks ago with a new plate, telling her to print two million dollars cash. It was him whoâd had that spring to his step while he told her about a new client, and it was him who had her show up at a hotel bar with a suitcase full of fake cash to meet a guy who turned out to be an old-partner-turned-bitter-rival of Nickâs.
She still doesnât really know what happened, just suddenly it was a few days later and Rio was back at her place with a black eye and a limp and an order.
Bring the plates.
Heâd driven them through the night.
Now, across the cabin, he drops a hand to rub at his bad leg, and Bethâs frown deepens as she wriggles back into the dusty mattress, her gaze holding on the narrow line of him, and hereâs the thing.
Itâs not like she hasnât thought about it.
Last night had been bad enough, but tonight with the rain and the sleet, without any real insulation and no fire, theyâre practically case studies for hypothermia. For the bone chill and the frost bite and the slurred speech and the shuttered eyes and the slip towards a forever sort of unconsciousness.
And like, she knows that the best ways to avoid hypothermia are warm drinks, food, blankets, getting off the ground, and body heat, and just - -
Look.
They finished the cocoa hours ago.
Beth sniffs, rolls her eyes to the ceiling, feels a jittery tension in her body as she blinks hard and finally just says it:
âCome here.â
Rio twists his neck back instantly at that, his eyebrow arched, but he doesnât make any indication that heâs likely to move, and right, Beth huffs. Why should this be any easier than literally anything else? Her headâs already starting to feel heavy, her thoughts tangled, and she figures the best way forwards is to - - well.
Be the danger.
With a trembling hand, Beth slowly unwraps the blanket from around herself, revealing her stiff jeans and loose sweater, the cold washing through the thin fabric like a rinse, and her teeth are already chattering when she says:
âBody heat.â
His other eyebrow raises to join the first, gaze dropping to her chest where she knows her nipples are peaked in cold, and Beth scowls.
âNot like that. Just - - weâre both freezing right and now, and this - - look. It works.â
âYeah? You learn that at Journey Scouts?â
âGot the badge and everything,â she bites, and sheâs sure sheâs visibly trembling now, can feel it, and she sees Rio stare at her, shake his head, start to tell her to bundle up before she kills herself or something, and she adds: âYou either come over here and get in the blanket with me or weâre both going to freeze to death right now, and what are your gang buddies gonna think of that, huh?â
Outside, the wind howls and the sleet is starting to get heavier, thicker, careen into hail, and god, itâs cold, and Beth can barely feel her anything anymore, and Rioâs still staring at her, his eyes (or, well, the one she can see below the swelling) dark, and sheâs halfway to giving up and flinging herself back on the dusty mattress and trying to shiver her way to any sort of warmth, when Rio suddenly pushes up off the couch and beelines towards the bed.
Which - - right, Beth thinks. This is good, this is what she wanted. In her head, there are vague flashes of real warmth, his body pressed into hers, a memory of heat and desire twisted up and around and over and over, and something drops through her like a lick of flame, and she swallows only to suddenly find herself being gripped around the waist and pushed sideways. Within moments, Rioâs slipped his body beside hers and laid them both down, the mattress frigid beneath them, as Beth desperately tries to adjust the thin blankets back across them both.
She inhales sharply when she feels Rioâs leg press sideways against her own.
His arm against hers.
Both of them suddenly pushed like fish fingers against each other on their backs.
Or like corpses.
The thought makes her swallow.
Makes her gaze flick up to see his swollen face, his pink nose, his unusually pale features.
God, itâs cold.
Beth sniffs, looks down as she wriggles further beneath the blankets, curling her socked-toes to try and hold the blanket to them.
âSo,â she tries. âHow long are we going to be here?â
âI dunno,â he answers instantly, voice light, like heâd been waiting for her to ask. âHow much holiday leave you got?â
Beth scowls, twisting to look at him, and then away, and then back, fixing on the way he hasnât taken his gaze off the ceiling. It leaves her with little to look at but his swollen eye, the skin darkened with bruises around his temple, and she canât quite keep the edge out of her voice when she asks:
âDid your brother give you that?â
âCousin.â
He sniffs as he says it, nose wrinkling, and if she didnât know any better, sheâd swear he winced too at the motion of it. Pressed against her own, his arm feels tight, stiff, his leg cold against hers, and fine, if thatâs the way he wants to play it.
âOh, sorry. Did your cousin give you that?â Beth asks, correcting herself, and at least now, Rio does twist his neck to look at her, his eyes wide in the dark, the whites of them near luminous, and god he is - - he is too close. So close she can feel the cool of his breath against her cheek.
He doesnât reply, and Beth swallows, something in her gut twisting, fingers trembling as the silence pulses between them, and she doesnât know if it means yes, or if Rioâs insulted sheâd even think that (Nick had just seemed - - and Rio - - something. There was something, thatâs all), and it makes her look away. Makes her stare up at the ceiling like heâd been doing, like she had earlier too, watching the timber roofing tremble and listening to the shatter of sleet.
She thinks her toes are going numb.
She thinks her lips are.
She thinks the cold is starting to wrap its fingers around her ankles and pull her into its clutches, starting to leave her tired, and suddenly sheâs grasping at anything to distract herself. Anything to keep her head above the threat of frigid oblivion, and sheâs halfway through the chorus of Do You Wanna Build a Snowman? before she even realizes what sheâs humming.
Itâs not until Rio snorts beside her that it means anything to her slow turning head.
Bethâs gaze fixes back on him, and itâs sudden then â the memory of Jane and Marcus singing it to each other through the laundry room door while they played, back when Rhea still came around, back when Beth thought - -
After - -
Beth blinks.
A shiver wracking her chest as she clutches the blankets a little tighter.
âDoes Marcus like Frozen?â she asks, like she doesnât know, and from the way Rio makes a low noise of affirmation, she knows that he doesnât.
Something in Beth loosens, tightens, loosens again.
âHe really likes that snowman,â Rio says, sniffing again. âOlaf.â
His lip twitches â something between a smile and a grimace, and Beth canât help but grin in reply, her own gaze holding now on the twist of his mouth.
âJane had a stuffed one that sang the song from the movie. The Summer one. I took out the sound box and stitched it back up.â
Rio barks on a laugh, even as Beth cringes at the memory. It probably wasnât her finest parenting moment, but after hearing the same song for the thirtieth time in a day, she was about to start tearing at the wallpaper.
âI told her he just wasnât feeling well,â she adds. âBut secretly Iâm hoping she forgets he ever sang.â
Itâs weird, the voice in her head that tells her itâs not a secret anymore.
Not now that sheâs told him.
She doesnât know why that leaves her pressing her arm to his a little tighter.
âDamn, youâre doinâ better than me,â Rio tells her, his voice low, a little slurred, hoarse with cold. She thinks thatâs one of the symptoms of hypothermia, isnât it? God, she canât remember. âI gave Marcusâ to one of his cousins.â
Beth laughs.
Looks at him.
Vaguely, something in her head tells her to listen to his chest. Check for a rattle. Is that for hypothermia? No. Pneumonia, she thinks. Tries to summon up her badge training. God, she feels drunk suddenly. Woozy. She lifts her head and places it on his chest anyway, and if heâs surprised, he doesnât act it. Instead, his arm circles around her shoulders, pulling her into him, which is silly, she doesnât need the rest of her to hear the ba-dum-ba-dum-ba-dum of his heart beneath her ear. Doesnât need to drop his mouth to the crown of her head, doesnât need to inhale either, but she shivers at the warmth of his exhale there when he does that and when his freezing hand finds her shoulder, itâs too easy to reach back.
To pull it around her arm and under, squeezing his fingers into her armpit to warm them, and when his fingers creep forward to squeeze her breast, she doesnât move them, couldnât, she doesnât think, not with his heartbeat so close, and his chest isnât rattling but it might, she thinks, and god, itâs so much warmer like this, so she shouldnât move her head just yet.
Just to be sure.
Just to warm them up a little.
Just for now.

Namjoon x Reader; Jimin x Reader
Genre: Angst, fluff, President!Namjoon, Head of Security!Jimin
Warnings: (Reluctant) open relationship, mentions of cheating, emotional/mental manipulation
âAre we sure that none of our men had anything to do with the shooting?â Kim Sang-hoon asked, for what felt like the 100th time in the 30 short minutes that Jimin had been called into a meeting in Namjoonâs office, along with the other members of the security detail.Â
âEveryone has been vetted, theyâre clean,â Jimin assured him.Â
âHow can you be so sure?â Sang-hoon pressed and Jimin wanted to claw his own fucking eyes out in annoyance.Â
âDad, stop,â Namjoon spoke up, making everyone look over at him where he sat at the head of the large rectangular table. âNow, while I appreciate your eagerness in making sure that what happened a month ago doesnât occur again, I trust that Jimin nor anyone else at this table had anything to do with the shooting. Also, the committee that was put together to find the assassins are sure that the three people they have in custody acted alone.â
âYou can never be too sure with these types of things, Namjoon-ah,â Sang-hoon replied and Namjoon nodded.
âI know, which is why Jimin has come up with some new and improved security measures for us,â Namjoon said as he raised his hand and motioned to Jimin. âGo ahead.â
âAll cars and limousines are being outfitted with new bulletproof glass, bulletproof tires, and new senors underneath. All routes taken by chauffeurs will be changed regularly, so that they donât become too predictable. The President and First Ladyâs public event schedules wonât be released until the morning of the event and at said event, there will be an increased presence of armed guards in addition to our regular security detail,â Jimin explained. âAlso, at large scale events where there are a lot of people present, we will have armed snipers stationed on top of every building thatâs visible.â
âArmed snipers?â A member of the security detail, Jaebum, spoke up. âArenât those usually reserved for occasions of the utmost importance?â
âI think that any occasion to protect our President is pretty important, yes?â Jimin wondered with an arched brow and Jaebum quickly nodded in agreement.Â
âWell, I for one think that those measures are a great start,â Namjoon said.
âI agree, but we also donât want people to think that the shooting has made you soft,â Sang-hoon pointed out.
âRight, but thereâs nothing wrong with a little extra precaution,â Namjoon chuckled. âI know my wife would be happy for the extra peace of mind that it would afford her.â Jimin had to shut his eyes momentarily to stop himself from rolling them at how casually Namjoon had mentioned you, because Jimin knew that he probably only did that because Jimin was present. When Jimin opened his eyes again, he caught Sang-hoon eyeing him weirdly but he decided to ignore it.Â
âI am drawing up some more plans as well, which Iâll bring to you once I work out the logistics,â Jimin told Namjoon.Â
âGreat, Iâll look forward to them,â Namjoon nodded curtly. âYouâre all dismissed.â Jimin began to gather up his papers and binder while the rest of the security detail hurriedly grabbed their notebooks and filed out of the room in a quick line. Jimin was the last one to pass through the door of Namjoonâs office, making it about halfway down the hall to his office before he heard his name called.
âPark!â Jimin turned around and heâd be lying if he said that he werenât surprised to see Sang-hoon walking out of Namjoonâs office and over to him.Â
âYes Sir?â Jimin replied.Â
âI was wondering if I could talk to you about something,â Sang-hoon requested and Jimin nodded while shrugging.Â
âSure, come into my office,â Jimin said, turning around and leading the way to his office, opening the door and allowing Sang-hoon to step inside first before following behind him and shutting the door.Â
âWhat is it that you wanted to speak to me about?â Jimin wondered as he walked around his desk, setting his binder down on top before lowering himself down into his desk chair.Â
âI wanted to talk to you about your involvement with my daughter-in-law,â Sang-hoon stated. âWhatever is going on between the two of you, it needs to stop today.â
âIâm sorry, I donât know what youâre talking about Sir,â Jimin feigned innocence, making Sang-hoon scoff as he stepped closer to the desk and set his hands on top of it, slightly leaning over it towards Jimin.Â
âDonât play dumb with me kid,â Sang-hoon warned. âIâve been doing this longer than youâve been alive.â
âWhat, cheating on your wife?â Jimin guessed and he took a little bit of pleasure in the way that Sang-hoonâs eyes slightly widened, not expecting that answer. âIf thatâs what youâre referring to, then Iâd definitely agree.â
âYou have no idea what youâre talking about kid,â Sang-hoon chuckled darkly. âMen like me, men like my son, we live a certain lifestyle that men like you could only dream about in your wildest fantasies.â
âOh, you mean the lifestyle that includes manipulating your broken hearted daughter-in-law into taking back your son who doesnât deserve her?â Jimin laughed. âYeah, you can keep telling yourself that.â
âI didnât manipulate her, I just helped her see what was right in front of her, which is what Iâm trying to do for you,â Sang-hoon said and Jimin raised an eyebrow at him.Â
âOk, Iâll bite,â Jimin shrugged. âWhat am I not seeing?â
âYouâre not seeing the fact that your relationship with Y/N is not going to go anywhere,â Sang-hoon told him. âNamjoon told me about how she made a great, big declaration the night of the shooting that she was going to divorce him but she still hasnât done it yet. Why do you think that is?â
âBecause of the shooting,â Jimin answered without hesitation. âShe felt bad about wanting to leave him after all of that so she needs time.â
âOr she came to her senses and realized that there was no future for her with a pawn,â Sang-hoon rebutted.Â
âA pawn?â Jimin laughed. âDo you think sheâs using me or something?â
âPartly,â Sang-hoon responded. âThat, and also the fact that sheâs too damned nice for her own good and isnât sure how to let you down easy so she just keeps stringing you along.â
âShe is not stringing me along, or using me,â Jimin scoffed. âSheâd never do that, not to me or anyone else.â
âLook,Y/N is the type of woman that needs constant and consistent love and attention and while my son is out running this amazing country of ours, he isnât always able to cater to her needs,â Sang-hoon explained. âNow, where do you think Y/N went looking for that love and attention?â
âI know what youâre hinting at, and it couldnât be further from the truth,â Jimin told him. âAnd plus, even if she did come to me looking for love and affection only, Iâm pretty sure itâs because President Kim takes after you in regards to how you treat the women in your life.â
âThey have an arrangement.â
âThat you manipulated her into,â Jimin chuckled. âSo weâre back to that point.â
âLook Jimin, youâre a smart kid. Even I know that much,â Sang-hoon huffed. âAssuming that sheâs told you everything that has transpired between those two, do you really think any woman whoâs been through all of that would even hesitate at leaving if she were serious about doing so?â Jimin stared at Sang-hoon for a few seconds before lowering his gaze down to his desk and thinking about his question, because Sang-hoon did make a valid point.
âShe hasnât left him because sheâs still in love with him,â Sang-hoon answered for him once a few seconds had passed without any response from Jimin. âTheyâve been in each otherâs lives for almost 10 years now and have seen each other through the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Do you really think you can compete with that?â
âBut she loves me,â Jimin murmured softly, almost as if he were trying to convince and remind himself at the same time.Â
âShe probably does,â Sang-hoon nodded in agreement. âBut just like Namjoon, just like me and hell, even just like you, she has an immense sense of duty inside of her. Part of her duty, as both Namjoonâs wife and First Lady of South Korea, is to be the backbone. Do you think that sheâs really going to let everything fall apart at her feet because she fell in love and decided to leave?â
âNo,â Jimin replied honestly.
âAnd you Jimin, you know what your duty is too,â Sang-hoon said and Jimin looked up at him. âSo you need to decided whatâs more important here: pursuing a love with someone whoâs unobtainable, or your sense of duty to do the right thing?â
.............................................
âYouâre an absolute idiot, but thatâs just my own personal opinion,â Momo said as she moved about Taehyungâs office, shuffling past where you sat on the edge of the desk as you watched her look for some files.Â
âYou think so?â You wondered and Momo nodded her head, opening up a file cabinet and literally almost sticking her entire head inside as she searched for what she was looking for.Â
âI understand that Namjoon has been trying, but itâs too late for trying,â Momo muttered. âHeâs done you so wrong over the past year and he doesnât deserve your forgiveness.âÂ
âBut weâve been in each otherâs lives for almost 10 years,â you sighed. âI do love him, even though heâs a dickhead.â
âAnd you can love him, no oneâs saying that thatâs wrong,â Momo replied, lifting her head after finding the files that she had been looking for. âBut you have Jimin in your life now.â
âSo you think that I should go with him?â You questioned, watching as Momo walked back over to the desk and plopped down in the chair that was behind it.Â
âY/N, I havenât seen you smile the way that you do when you see Jimin in over a year, and I missed it,â Momo smiled lightly. âHe makes you happy and after everything that youâve been through, you deserve to be happy and I wish you could see that.â
âI do see it, I just canât get over everything that Iâll be leaving behind,â you admitted. âNamjoon is familiar, the life that I have as First Lady is familiar. Not to mention the fact that I have an obligation to not only Joon, but the country.â
âYou canât let that completely dictate your life though,â Momo replied. âYou need to chose the man who you know for a fact you can be happy with, and you know as well as I do who that man is.â
âI do,â you nodded, taking a deep breath to steady yourself because you now knew exactly what you needed to do. You jumped down off of the desk and stepped over to Momo, wrapping your arms around her shoulders and hugging her tightly. âI love you so much Mo. Thank you for being here for me.â
âIâm your best friend, itâs my job,â she chuckled. âBut I love you too. Now go get your man.â
âIâll see you later,â you promised, standing up straight and quickly walking out of the office, immediately heading down the hall to Jiminâs office. You raised your hand and knocked on the door three times, before you heard Jiminâs voice from inside.
âCome in,â he said and when you opened the door, your jaw instantly dropped at the sight in front of you. All of the pictures of his family that had hung on the walls were now gone, along with all of the little knick knacks that had lined his desk. The only thing that was on his desk now were two large brown boxes, which Jimin was putting things into when you opened the door.
âWhatâs going on?â You asked as you stepped inside, shutting the office down behind you. Obviously not expecting to see you. Jimin sighed heavily before looking up at you.Â
âIâm cleaning out my office,â he said and you raised an eyebrow.
âAre you switching offices or something?â You chuckled.
âNo, Iâm quitting,â Jimin announced and your eyes instantly widened.
âWhat?â
âIâm quitting,â he repeated. âI handed my resignation in to President Kim about 30 minutes ago.â
âDid Namjoon have something to do with this?â You demanded to know. âI swear, Iâm gonna kill him.â
âHe had nothing to do with this, this is all me,â Jimin told you, putting the last of his belongings into the last box before using some tape to seal it shut.Â
âWell, why are you quitting?â You wondered.Â
âI canât do this anymore Y/N,â Jimin said. âWe were never meant to work, and I know that so Iâm cutting my losses now.â
âJimin, no,â you pleaded, watching in horror as he stacked one box on top of the other before picking them up and walking around the back of the desk. âI love you.â
âPlease donât make this harder than it already is,â he said with teary eyes and you instantly shut your mouth at the sight. âNow, I love you too but we never had a chance in all of this. I never had a chance in all of this and I just need to accept that.â
âBut you do!â You shouted.
âRemember how I asked you to be honest with me?â He said and you nodded your head. âWell, you just broke that promise right now by lying to me. We never wouldâve made it and you know that as well as I do.â
âJimin,â you whispered but Jimin just shook his head, and you knew that anything else you could say would only fall on deaf ears.Â
âGoodbye baby bird,â he murmured, stepping around you and opening the door to his office, stepping out and letting the door close shut behind him. As soon as you heard the door click shut, the dam inside of you burst and the tears that youâd been holding back started to stream down your face, the pain of Jimin walking out on you causing what felt like a deep crack in your heart.Â

Part II
⥠Pairing: Peter Parker x Black!FemaleReader
âč Warnings: Language, Mentions of Death, Depression, Triggering Content, Suicidal Thoughts, Suicide Attempt
âč Words: 3k
âč A/N: ATTENTION! This is an emotionally heavy part. Please DO NOT READÂ if you know you will be affected. For those struggling with depression, I see you, I care for you, and I love you. Youâre not alone and you are undeniably worthy of love.
-Five Years and Twenty Nine Days Later-
You donât want to get up.
Your phoneâs alarm clock is rounding on its tenth circuit, if your counting is correct⊠and thereâs a good chance you blanked out for fifteen minutes while watching a strip of sunlight lethargically inch down your blanket to the foot of the bed, so your number may be off by six or seven.
Itâs not that youâre tired or anything, or maybe you are and thatâs beside the point. Itâs just that your bed is far too comfortable for your own good and you know today is Saturday, the busiest day at Halâs Diner, and it just so happens youâre scheduled for an 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. brunch rush. If you had a choice, youâd stay in bed.
But you donât. And youâre running twenty minutes late⊠for the fourth time in two weeks.
Iâve got you.
Shut the fuck up.
You wearily snarl, snatching your pillow out from under your head and slamming it against your face, uselessly stuffing it over your ears as if that would somehow miraculously block out the words.Â
Usually, the voice stayed quiet. After three years of the repeated promise drifting around your brain like a lost ship at sea, you had finally figured out how to anchor it to the deepest, darkest, most unchartered recess of your mind. Every now and then, though, theyâd find a way to rattle the chains, just to remind you of their eternal presence, but it never lasted long. You didnât acknowledge them anymore. They no longer fooled you.
But, twenty-nine days ago, something reinvigorated the voice, giving them a renewed sense of purpose and a reason to break free.
Twenty-nine days ago, on the exact anniversary of their disappearance, everyone came back.Â
Out of the blue, in the middle of the day, all of the people Earth mourned for five years reappeared to a very, very stunned world. Celebration rocked the streets of New York and all over the globe. Lovers lost returned. Mothers. Fathers. Sisters. Brothers. Babies. Friends. They all came back. And the voice in your head broke free of its chains, rampantly bouncing around your mind as if they were on pure steroids, ready to charge forward and find the one your Destined Words belonged to.Â
Everything reverted back to normal.
Except, besides your newly released Destined Words, nothing changed for you.
You werenât there when⊠when your best friend rematerialized in your previous apartment. You moved to a smaller, modestly priced place six blocks away. It was great for what little money you had, and your landlords, a lovely couple that always leaves you a present outside your door for Christmas and birthdays, were generous enough to accommodate for your lack of funds.
You just couldnât keep your parentsâ apartment. Not when you knew they werenât coming back.Â
No one ever speaks about the casualties of the ones lost that day, the ones who perished from the effects of the blip. For a long time, you just couldnât cope with the fact that a swerving hit from a rogue truck whose driver turned to dust was all it took to take your parents away. But you had to move on.
Ever since that day five years ago, youâve been on your own.
Youâre sure your friend tried looking for you by now, continually calling up a retired cellphone number, searching through deleted social media accounts, maybe even asking your old high school for your whereabouts to no avail. Even though youâre not far from home, sheâd never find you.Â
You donât want to be found. You like being alone.
With a great, gusty sigh, you roll out of bed, grab some clothes and undergarments, then pad to the bathroom, ignoring the chiming circuit of your alarm clock. It can wait. You go through the motions: washing up, putting your hair in its regular bun, brushing your teeth, and staring at your unaged face in the spotted mirror.
Itâs not vanity, though itâs common knowledge that your features will be impervious to aging for a long while. You literally havenât aged a single day since the blip.
It was an intriguing phenomenon after the first two years. Everyone your age who had heard their Destined Words but had yet to meet their Soulmate just stopped aging, and when the younger generation hit the age of eighteen, they stopped aging as well. For some, like you, the effect was felt rather than seen. Ever since the string inside you snapped, you knew that cosmic time would stand still until you connected with your other soul. Youâre not holding your breath for that anytime soon.
As you step out of the steam-filled bathroom, your alarm blares out its last chime before switching to the Vmm Vmm Vmm of an incoming call.
You pick up on the sixth ring. âGood morning, Hal.â
âThis is the fourthââ
âThe fourth time. I know, I know. Iâm on my way.â
Hal grunts into the receiver, âDonât get smart with me, little lady. Just because youâre my best server doesnât mean I wonât fire you.â
Thatâs precisely what that means, and he knows you know it. You blow out a sigh, âIâm seriously almost out the door. Like two steps.â
âUh-huh,â he says, a hint of a grin in his quizzical noise. âWell, hightail it, wouldâya? The jointâs packed already and I need all hands on deck, so scoot.â
âScooting,â you confirm, snagging your bag off of your sofa and grabbing your keys. âWhoâs with me today?â Please donât say Wendy. Please donât say Wendy.
âChris and Wendy.â
You groan as you shut the door behind you. âCome on, Hal. Sheâs dead weight in the morning. I might as well be working with a zombie in an apron.â
Hal grumps, âAt least the zombie gets here on time.â
âHave you had coffee yet? Youâre not you when youâre decaffeinated.â Itâs true. Even with your truancy, Hal wouldnât hold it over your head more than twice. Heâs usually as chipper as a dog in a dog park at this time, bustling and joking up a storm.
He takes a loud sip, then says, âWeâre slammed, is all, and Iâm missing my best hand.â Two disgruntled heys ring in the background and Hal immediately issues apologies. âJust get here, will ya?â
Before you can remind him again that you are on your way, he disconnects the call.
Youâre wondering if itâs too late to go back to bed.
The little, infamous family diner is only seven blocks south of your apartment building, a nice walk when the weatherâs good and a pain in the ass when itâs not. You used to enjoy the quiet mornings and the stillness that came with it, but ever since things went back to normal, you canât survive the walk without a pair of headphones jammed in your ears and your musicâs volume turned all the way up. Everyoneâs just so⊠loud.
Thankfully, today, the walk is a straight shot and youâre in the doors within fifteen minutes.
Itâs like stepping into a den full of ravenous animals. Worse, itâs like stepping into a den full of ravenous animals and being stuck with the task of serving them.
âLook whoâs finally decided to show up,â Wendy chides, stifling a yawn as she shuffles to a table and places down three menus. Sheâs twenty-two years old and likes setting your teeth on edge.
You deadpan, âDid the cat drag you in from the front door or the back?â
âKnock it off, you two,â warns Chris, walking by with two arms balancing four plates of the Sunrise Breakfast Special. He looks at you, then jerks his chin back to the kitchen. âBoss is about to blow his top.â
Nodding, you make your way to the back, giving a small wave to some regulars. Out of breath and sweat running down his reddened neck, Hal is moving like a man caught in a whirlwind, flipping eggs and pancakes and sausages and hash browns and bacon while checking orders and filling plates. As soon as he hears the kitchen door close and sees you, he visibly sags in relief.
âDonât bother clocking in. Just put your apron on and get out there.â
You nod. Set down your things. Put on your apron. Arrange a plastic smile.
Go through the motions.
Itâs all the same thing every single day. Wake up, work, school, sleep. Repeat. Unlike the other constants, school is something youâre temporarily trying out. It wasnât your original plan, the whole four years to a bachelorâs degree, then some more years for a masterâs. You gave that up long ago. Right now, youâre just taking a free weekend art class at a community college. Oddly enough, itâs something youâre beginning to look forward to on Saturdays and Sundays.
Work, while youâre great at what you do, is never a highlight.Â
Hal was right. The diner is slammed, and youâre swept up in the current of rude, demanding customers, snide remarks from Wendy, cheerful shrugs from Chris, and barking orders from Hal for six whole hours. You work through your two fifteen-minute breaks. No one reminds you. You slip on spilled hash browns. No one helps you. You bring back a plate three times to satisfy a customer who kept finding fault with their eggs. No one thanks you.
Everything is back to normal.
Iâve got you.
âFuck off,â you snap, slapping a hand to your mouth when you see the elderly woman youâre serving knit her brows in revulsion. âOh, no, maâam. Iâm-Iâm sorry, I wasââ
She stands and marches out of the diner before you could explain, snatching her ten-dollar tip off the table.
â⊠talking to myself,â you finish under your breath.
Sheâs the last of the brunch rush, leaving only the regular afternoon crowd and a few stragglers. The clock near the cash register reads 2:13 p.m.
You brush off the disappointment of a lost tip and head to the kitchen to grab your things and leave, Chris and Wendy following you. Halâs two other workers, the ones here till closing, cover the floor well. Not like they had much to do.
Hal is whistling a jaunty tune when you walk in, stopping to salute you, Chris, and Wendy with an exhausted grin. âNice work out there, you guys. See you tomorrow.â
Wendy is out the door the instant she clocks out.
Chris catches your arm as you grab your bag from your small locker. âHey, um, I sort of heard your little outburst, and I was wondering if you were okay.â
You nod, gently shrugging his hand off. âYeah, itâs just a tip. I made enough.â
âNo, not that,â he shakes his head, clearing his throat and pushing a hand through his choppy beach-blond hair. He ineptly bends his head down a little, getting close enough for a private conversation you do not want to have. âItâs just⊠youâve done that before and I just want to make sure everythingâs alright with you.â
You canât put the plastic smile back on, heâs seen it too many times to know itâs not real, so you half-heartedly grin. âIâm fine. Thanks for asking.â
âYeah, anytime. Hey, so, me and a couple friends are hanging out tonight. Thereâs gonna be a music festival in Cunningham Park. Wanna hang?â
Chris tries this every week. At first, you thought it was his bashful attempt at asking you out, but heâs a happily taken man with a big heart and a lot of friends. Every customer he meets, boom, theyâre friends and soon loyal customers of Halâs. Itâs a gift. You just wish he caught your not-so-subtle hints of evasion.
Tonight, though, you had the perfect excuse. âCanât. I got class.â
He tilts his head in confusion. âOn a Saturday night?â
âYeah. Itâs a free course. Get it where I can take it, you know,â you awkwardly laugh, hoping Chris wasnât offended as you take a couple of steps back towards the exit.
His smile doesnât falter. âMaybe next time, then.â
Not likely. âSure, yeah. See you later.â
You duck out before he says goodbye, dashing out the front door and speed-walking home.
Iâve got you.
Iâve got you.
Iâve got you.
You stop dead in the middle of a sidewalk.
Where did that come from? Itâs never said it three times in a row before. Does⊠does that mean something?
Your breath quickens at the thought, and you spin around, scanning the vacant street. Youâre the only one occupying the sidewalk, you and a curious squirrel sniffing at the crisp air. Thereâs not a person in sight. When youâre certain youâre in the clear, pivoting a glance around one more time for good measure, you pick up the pace, practically running the rest of the way home.
Once youâre in your apartment and the door shuts, you desperately whisper to your mind, âDonât say it anymore. I donât want them, okay? I donât want a Soulmate.â
Nothing.
âI know you hear me,â you bite out aloud, forcefully shoving back the urge to yell. âStop saying the words.â
Still nothing.
Silence rings hollow in your mind like the voice is waiting for your temper to cool down. Like it knew it upset you and felt chastened enough to back off and take a time out in a corner.
You stand immobile in the middle of your cramped sitting area. Tense. Waiting. Waiting longer than you care to admit. The urge to fight deserts you as quick as it comes, but youâre still standing there with your fists balled up, feeling more and more defeated as the minutes drain away.
The voice isnât going to leave you alone. You know that. Itâs here to serve one purpose, and the only thing holding it up is you. Youâre meant to meet whoever those words belong to⊠but then what? They magically fix you? They love you back to normal? Five years ago, you may have believed they can do that. But, the problem is, youâve gone through enough life-altering events in the last five years to last you a lifetime, and this one person, this person destined to pair with your soul, wonât be your wave-of-a-wand solution.
You just want it to stop.
Iâve got you.
A lone tear slides down your cheek as you trek to your bed and climb in fully clothed.
For a long time, you simply stare up at the ceiling as the tears leak out the corners of your eyes. You make no noise, and your chest doesnât jerk up and down with sobs. The tears gather, and then they fall. Gather and fall. Gather and fall until there are no tears left. You continue staring at the ceiling.
You think back to the days when those godforsaken words and the future they foretold brought you happiness. What a wonderful promise, pairing with someone who will always be there for you in some capacity and will instantly love you. You canât recall any Soulmate story not working out. Maybe they just never speak about it. Why mar the fantasy?
The sun dipped below the horizon a while ago, and now the moon shines bright in the night sky. You missed your art class.
Your body is as stiff as a board when you sit up. Thereâs a tight pounding in your forehead, either from crying or lack of food, but you arenât bothered enough to deal with it. Instead, you move to the only window in your room and pull back the curtains to gaze at the stars. Not many are out yet, but they glitter like gems around the moon, and the night sky nears a lovely shade of midnight blue.
The sight is so pretty; you find yourself grabbing a couple of paint bottles, brushes, and a small canvass, then heading out of your apartment, walking up six flights of stairs to reach the roof.
Itâs quiet when you get up there, save for the noise of zooming cars below. The first time you came up on the roof, just out of curiosity, you loved how solitary it felt, loved the view overlooking the building-strewn skyline and the overall height of the complex. It became a nice place to visit when you wanted to be by yourself.
You walk over to the edge of the building, sitting your supplies down on the ledge, then look up at the sky for the best angle to capture the moon and the stars.
The sky is vast. So endless. So open. So free. You stop scoping out for the perfect angle and just admire the shining moon when your eyes land on it. Itâs waning, only a sliver of its surface visible as it prepares to transition into a New Moon. Then you gaze at the stars as they dimly twinkle back at you⊠like they can see right through you.
Like they can see your sadness.
You step closer to the ledge, each step laden with the weight of smothered grief. You lost everyone. Your parents. Manda. Sheâd never recognize the person youâve become.
You step onto the ledge, not looking down but up, trying to memorize the image.
You lost your Soulmate. That broken string in your chest never felt the same, even after everyone came back. Maybe you were too far gone for any connection.
You turn around. Youâd thought youâd feel numb, but acceptance fills you. Itâs okay to let go.
You lower your eyes, slowly lean back, and let gravity take over.
Air sails past your ears in a rush as you fall, and you canât really focus on anything except your erratic heartbeat. You donât struggle as your body wants. You just fall and wait.
And then, in a sudden flash of red and blue, youâre propelling sideways and swinging upwards, a strong arm pressing you against a hard chest.
âIâve got you.â
As soon as he said the words, you knew who they belonged to, as if you knew this entire time. Even with the mask covering his face, you knew. But it still doesnât stop you from incredulously saying, âPeter?â
His masked face snaps to yours. A small part of you tries to pin his surprise on you correctly guessing his identity, but something bigger assures you the reason for his alarm is a match to your own.
He knows youâre his Soulmate.

cold.
all you felt was cold.
you could barely remember where you were or what had happened.
your senses felt frozen.
all you could manage to do was shut your eyes.
___
the team arrived in portland, oregon a few days prior.
it was march, meaning the temperatures barely passed the the mid-fifties at the high, and dropped extremely low during the night. even snow fell on the ground as you landed, resulting in everyone on the team adding an extra layer or two.
the unsub was killing women and disposing of their bodies on the streets lining the beaches. it was becoming extremely difficult to narrow the suspect pool down, due to the large population.
hotch ordered you and spencer to go to the morgue and look at the previous victims to find out what you could.
âhe must have some sort of emotional tie to to the ocean. it would explain why the unsub chooses that location,â spencer spoke from the passenger seat.
you nodded, âpossible grew up on the coast or maybe even lost someone to drowning.â
upon arrival at the morgue, the two of you made your way inside. you both greeted the coroner before grabbing gloves. as you moved around the victims bodies, spencer talked to the man about what he could figure out.
âtheyâre not drowned. thereâs a puncture wound in her foot, probobly died from a heart attack,â you concluded.
with that, you and spencer returned to the police station to alert your team about what you had discovered. while walking towards the doors, the wind picked up causing you to hug your jacket a little tighter. spencer pulled you closer to him to keep you warm.
the next four days were agonizingly slow. another body had been found, but it had the exact same marks as the others with nothing different. if anything, it slowed your investigation down rather than help you.
the team worked long hours, desperate to find a lead. and finally, after those four days, they found one.
hotch sent you and morgan to investigate the suspects house that night. it was dark and very cold. upon arrival, you found it was empty. but with further investigation, you two concluded that this defiantly was your guy.
pictures and articles on these women were pinned on the walls as well as an article about a little boy drowning in a riptide a month or so ago.
âstresser,â you informed morgan.
as you two were walking out of the house, a red car sped out of the garage of the house and down the road. you managed to catch a glimpse of the driver and passenger; it was the unsub and his current victim. thankfully, she was alive.
morgan jumped into the drivers seat as you got into the passengers seat. he sped off, following the car the best he could. at one point, due to the darkness and wind, you lost the car.
however, a few moments later, after driving around, you saw the red care carelessly parked on the side of the road. the unsub was dragging the girl, who was gagged and tied at her wrists and ankles, towards the end of the pier.
âunsub located, he has a girl with him. location is the pier just off of south street,â you spoke into your communication system.
you and morgan slowly stepped out of the car and took a step towards the unsub who had a sly grin on his face. he held an automatic rifle which was pointed at the girls head.
âmorgan she has weights on her,â you informed your fellow agent.
âyou donât have to do this man!â morgan shouted, âjust let the girl go. we can tell the judge you cooperated. let her go.â
the next moments happened all so quickly. the unsub pushed the girl off of the pier into the water. due to the weights attached, she slowly began to sink to the bottom. the man then pointed his gun at morgan. you fired a shot, killing him instantly. you and derek shared a quick look before taking off sprinting off of the pier and diving into the water.
the team arrived just in time to see you and morgan go under. rossi and emily went over to the unsub, checking his pulse before concluding him to be dead. the rest of the team stayed on the beach, narrowing their eyes at the water, no sign of you or morgan anywhere.
after hitting the water, your entire body tensed up. the water couldnât have been more than 35-40 degrees. you managed to pry your eyes open, just enough to see the light from derekâs flashlight.
the water was pitch black and you needed to find the girl. you were both loosing oxygen quickly and no doubt the victim was too.
after then more seconds of desperately searching, you saw the woman floating towards the bottom of the water. as quickly as you could, you grabbed your pocket knife and sliced the ropes. the process was painfully slow, and with each moment, you felt yourself in more and more pain.
finally, the ropes fell and you took one arm while derek took the other. after pushing off the ocean floor, you made it to the surface, gasping for air. you used your spare hand to push back your hair as you frantically looked around.
in the distance, you could make out your team as well as the police standing on the beach. your whole body was shaking as you couldnât believe how far out you were. slowly but surely, you began to swim towards the mainland.
in your mind, the process seemed to take forever. your boots finally made contact with the sand, allowing for you to stand up. you and morgan hauled the victim onto the sand where the emtâs were waiting.
you and derek, however, seemed locked in place, still standing waist deep in painfully cold water. spencer was helping the emtâs after orders from hotch but looked over when he heard a large splash. his head turned just in time to witness morgan collapsing, just after you went down. thankfully, emily and hotch were there to catch you both.
âw-who are you. where a-am i,â you spoke shakily, mind incredibly fuzzy.
the pain began to increase throughout your body, but it seemed to attack your head the most. after your legs went out, your arms were next. they were holding emilyâs arms but then dropped. your head rolled to the side. upon looking at hotch, derek was having the same results.
âmedics!â hotch shouted.
âhey y/n, i need you to stay awake. keep those eyes open. come on y/n, please,â the woman who you couldnât quite remember in front of you pleaded. the next few moments were a blur as you couldnât follow her demands and instead shut your eyes.
once the second wave of emtâs arrived, you and morgan were quickly loaded onto stretcherâs and rushed to the hospital. the team stood on the beach, still processing what happened. hotch and emily were starting to feel a little sick from entering the water to help their team.
âi know we all want to get to the hospital but itâs already late. everyone go back to the hotel and get changed and we can go to the hospital afterwards,â hotch spoke to his team.
as everyone began to walk back to to the car, spencer stopped, tapping his hands against his leg as he looked at the ocean. j.j. noticed this and made her way over, placing her hand softly on his shoulder.
âtalk to me,â j.j. spoke with a calm tone.
âhypothermia is one of the most dangerous medical conditions out there. your body literally shuts down after being in the water for only a few minutes. but y/n and morgan were in the water for a long time. iâm just so worried,â spencer struggled to get out.
for a genius who knew so much, he had run out of things to say.
âspence, the doctors are going to do everything in their power to help them. you have every right to be worried. derek is your best friend, besides me of course,â j.j. joked, causing spence to smile slightly, âand to state the obvious, youâre so in love with y/n. you two have known each other for practically forever and sheâs your girlfriend, of course youâre going to be worried. but for now, all we can do is go back to the hotel and then the hospital.â
he nodded slightly before allowing j.j. to lead him to the car and to the hotel.
spencer changed into a comfortable button up with a sweater overtop before meeting the team back in the lobby. everyone made sure to bundle up, especially after the situation with you and morgan, before they made their way to the hospital.
after using his status as an fbi agent for a little leverage, hotch managed to get the nurse to give them some information. you and morgan were currently in the icu but thatâs all they received. the nurse permitted two members of the team to stay overnight while everyone could return the following morning. at that point, full medical information could be released.
spencer was as easy first choice. j.j. was nominated to be second. she was the closest with spencer and would be the best moral support. the team echoed their goodbyes to the two before promising to be there tomorrow morning right when opening hours started.
the two were led to an area where they could sit and rest for the night. it wasnât outside of yours our derekâs room which wasnât ideal, but spencer and j.j. accepted it. the two collapsed into the chairs, each pulling a blanket over themselves before slowly drifting to sleep.
the following morning, the team re-grouped in the waiting room of the hospital. surprisingly, spencer and j.j. had managed to get an actual good night of sleep.
âi can take you to agent y/n and morganâs took where a doctor while then brief you,â the nurse told the group.
they were lead to a different floor and down the hallway. the nurse motioned for chairs to sit in while she went to go get the doctor later. a moment later, another women appeared in front of them, introducing herself.
âfirst of all, agent y/n and morgan will be okay,â the doctor spoke causing a relived sigh to echo through the hallway, âbut, both have sustained serious injuries. hypothermia is the obvious one. y/n and derek were in the freezing water for an extremely long time causing their bodies to almost shut down completely. iâve never seen two patients cases mirror each other but y/n and derekâs do. y/nâs heart stopped for a quick few seconds but quickly started beating again. moments later, derekâs stopped also. thankfully, both are hooked up to ivâs and are recovering nicely. the only problem is, it may take awhile for the two to wake up. they really should have died, and i am unsure how theyâre still okay. without their selfless efforts, the woman who is now in recovery would be dead. so i wanted to thank your team for their actions.â
the team processed the doctors words. âcan we see them?â emily asked. âyes of course, we put them both in one of the larger rooms. itâs room number 503, three doors down on the left,â with one more smile, the doctor then left.
entering the hospital room, the team paused. you both had thick blankets covering your bodies, a slight buzz sounding from the electric heater inside. spencer looked at you first. your lips were still a slight shade of blue and your fingertips had a few black marks on them. derek was the exact same.
spencer teared up at the sight of the two of you. he collapsed in a chair by your bedside first. he pressed his lips together and rubbed his temple. all the team could do was wait for you two to wake up.
a week later, at around 10pm, derek woke up. the room was dark and the hallway lights were dim, as it was past visiting hours. he went to sit up but his muscles were weak. it took a large effort to move his hand to the âcall nurseâ button. after pressing it, he moved his head to the side where you were still laying. a few moments later, a nurse entered the room. âgood to see you awake agent morgan, how are you feeling?â
ânot great. what happened?â derek asked.
âyou and agent y/n went into the freezing ocean to save one of the victims. luckily, she has since been released. for the two of you, your hearts both stopped momentarily as a side effect of the hypothermia. but, with lots of rest and recovery, you two should be fine.â
derek nodded to the nurses words before leanining back into the hospital bed.
at close to 4am, you woke up. you felt the same way as derek did but managed to move your head to the side. derek was sitting up, looking at some magazine the nurse must have given him.
âhey kid,â derek spoke softly.
you moved your hand up to your head. âremind me to not go swimming ever again during the winter,â you first spoke resulting in derek to laugh. soon after, a nurse came in, checking over you first before changing the ivâs. âyour team should be here in a few hours, theyâve visited everyday,â the nurse told you with a smile.
true to her word, once visiting hours, you heard talking from outside of your room. the doors opened seconds later. spencer immediately rushed to your bedside, hugging you softly as you did your best to return it.
âyouâre amazing,â spencer spoke before cupping your cheeks and kissing you softly.
the two of you stopped when morgan called over, âhey lover boy, no hello to me?â loud laughs echoed through the hospital room as relief washed over the team that you two were okay.

4. Park Jimin - Cafe Date
Sandalwood and bonfire candles burned throughout the house drifted through the open door blanketing my nose while I was hanging up some fake spider webs. Marshall was carrying the bundle of webs in his arms while I weaved them in the corners. Mom came out with a tray with two glasses filled with eggnog; a large smile appeared on her face when she saw how much weâve done in a short period of time.
âThis is beautiful. You kids did such a great job!â She praised.
âMom,â Marshall said, âwe arenât kids. Iâm literally twenty-two, and Brielle is nineteen.â
âYouâll always be kids to me.â
Marshall and I put the decorations down to enjoy the nice, sweet, holiday drink that our mom had brought out to us. While I took small sips, Marshall gulped it down in a single swift motion.
A black Porsche pulled into our driveway, coming to a complete stop inches from our garage door. The windows were tinted, so none of us could see whoever was inside the vehicle, until the door opened and climbed out of theyâre seat.
Jiminâs blonde hair and black roots appeared as he lifted himself out of his car, a happy smile on his handsome face.
  âìë
ìêž°!â (Hi, sweetheart!)
Excitement ran through my body as I saw and heard my boyfriend, and nearly lunged myself off the porch while running into his open arms. Jimin and I began dating when I was eighteen years old, and it was great but difficult since he was constantly touring and because he lived in South Korea.
The two of us hugged each other tightly.
 âì§ëŻŒ, í ëŹ ë ìì ì€ ëȘ°ëìŽ.â (Jimin, I wasnât expecting you for a month.)
Neither one of us was great at speaking the opposite language that the other spoke but we still tried. If that didnât show we loved each other, then I didnât know what did.
We pulled away from each other and he pressed a gentle kiss against my temple. Marshall and my mom came off the porch and greeted Jimin. My family enjoyed having my boyfriend around and they treated him like family because of that. From where we stood, I could still smell the candles burning in the house, surprisingly.
âJimin, would you like to come in for some eggnog?â Mom asked, her voice sweet and angelic.
A look of confusion swept against his face before he understood completely what my mom was asking him.
âAh ~ no, thank you. I wanted to take Brie out for some, uh,â he made a drinking motion with his hand, âsome coffee.â
Of course I was going, but I had to finish putting up the Halloween decorations for my mom. Jimin even offered to help. So for the next forty-five minutes, Jimin and I put the rest of the cobwebs up and even added some yard decorations including skeletons, tombstones, a scary pumpkin, and more webs in the trees along with fake, realistic bats and spiders.
Taking a step back to view our work, Jimin and I smiled in accomplishment. He turned to me and grabbed my small hand. I tightened my grip. After mom admired our work, Jimin led me to his car, opened the passenger's side, and held my hand as I stepped inside the vehicle. Once he was in the car, he started the ignition, and pulled out of the driveway heading towards a coffee shop a block from my momâs home.
As Jimin was driving, I looked out the window watching the shopkeepers putting up their simple decorations like jelly stickers and hanging ghosts. Jimin parked the car next to the coffee shop and we scooted out. On the two large windows, there were assortments of those jelly stickers that everyone else had in town. Some were pumpkins, ghosts, bats, black cats, spiders, and more spooky, Halloween characters. Jimin opened the door, the small ring of the bell echoing off the shopâs walls, and gestured me inside.
Pumpkin spice and freshly grounded coffee pierced our noses as we entered and I inhaled deeply. I loved coffee, I loved the smell of coffee, and I especially loved the aroma during the fall. During this cool season, the smell was more intense and the warmth of it was like a blanket for my nose only. The taste was just as euphoric.
Both of us walked up to the counter, listening to the sound of talkative customers sitting at tables, and looked at the menu. I didnât really need to look, I always got the same thing every time I came here but Jimin did. I helped him with some of the words he didnât understand and in the end, we ordered. Jimin got an iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel syrup, and I got a pumpkin spice latte. After the barista handed our drinks, we swiped a booth near the window so there was a nice view of the multicolored leaves falling to the concrete as the wind shook them off their branches.
I sat across from Jimin, against the window. Jimin smiled at me.
âHow have you been?â He asked, his English better than when we first met, heâd definitely been practicing.
âIâve been good,â I said, taking a small sip of my pumpkin coffee, âreally good actually. How have you been?â
âReally tired, but good. I have been practicing my English more since we have been coming to America more often.â
âI can tell, youâre getting much better.â
Jimin and I took a drink of our beverages before resuming conversation.
âHow are you doing with learning Korean?â He questioned, his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed the cool liquid.
I frowned and sighed, âitâs much harder than it looks, if Iâm being honest.â
I reached into my bag, which I had grabbed as we were leaving my momâs, and pulled out a notebook that I took everywhere with me. Inside the Five Star spiral notebook were all of my Korean lessons. I opened the notebook and laid it out in front of us. Jimin leaned forward.
âI get really confused on how to pronounce each character,â I muttered.
âIt is okay,â Jimin chirped, âI will help you since I am here.â
We spent some time on the lesson and Jimin taught me how to pronounce a lot in a twenty-five minute time span, but now the two of us were distracted by laughing at stupid things because I had mispronounced one of the characters.
My laughter died down as my phone buzzed. Jimin leaned back and rested his arm over the back of the seat while sipping on his coffee. I picked my phone up and glanced at it. The name of my group chat popped up on the front screen and I saw that one of my friends was asking about the assignment due for Mr. Michaelâs class. I chose not to answer it right now.
  âImportant?â Jimin questioned.
 âJust a group chat for school,â I informed, âjealous?â
He laughed out and it was the most captivating noise Iâve ever heard. Jimin shook his head.
âAbsolutely not,â he giggled some more, âI love and trust you.â
I covered my mouth as a small laugh escaped my own mouth.
   âHow is school?â He asked.
âItâs going great,â I said, âstraight Aâs. Howâs touring?â
âOh it is amazing. I love being able to meet Army and be on several talk shows with funny people.â
I smiled wide, âwhoâs your favorite talk show host?â
âJimmy Fallon and James Cordon. They are my favorite.â
I loved watching the interviews with Jimin and his group members, they always seemed to have so much fun with it. The idea of him traveling all through America and other countries meeting new people and performing new songs for their fans. I loved traveling, so I hoped some day that I would get to travel too, either with Jimin or alone.
   Jimin leaned forward again.
âI was thinking maybe you can come visit South Korea on your vacation,â he said, âI will pay for the ticket.â
My brown orbs widened at his words. I was shocked by his invitation because I never thought he would ask me to come visit him in Korea. But what shocked me the most was what he said next.
âI want you to meet my mom and dad. I already told them about you, they are wanting to meet you too.â
âOh Jimin,â I whispered, a few tears escaping my eyes and sliding down my cheek, thanking myself for not wearing any makeup today.
He grabbed my hand, âìŹëíŽ, ëžëŠŹ.â (I love you, Brie.)
âìŹëíŽì, ì§ëŻŒ.â (I love you, Jimin.)
After we finished drinking our coffee, I ordered another to go and we left. Jimin didnât have to worry about fans seeing him here because the town was so small, so Jimin wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we walked to the car. It was a subtle romantic gesture, and I loved it.
Jimin, once again, opened the passengerâs side and helped me in. I thanked him and he leaned down, kissing me on the forehead. On the drive home, Jimin rested his hand on my thigh and we jammed out to crappy music playing on the radio at that time.
Marshall was sitting outside with his friend, Jackson, when Jimin pulled into the driveway. I looked over at Jimin.
âDo you have somewhere to be, or do you want to come in and watch a movie?â
He took a quick glance at his phone before answering, âI have time. Come on, we can watch a romantic movie.â
Jimin was always a big flirt, even when I first met him. It was one of the qualities that I loved the most about him. The two of us kissed. His hand touched the side face with his large hand, deepening the kiss and making my heart flutter. When he pulled away, I bit my bottom lip.
âCome on,â he said, his voice was husky from the kiss, âletâs go inside.â
Nodding, I followed my boyfriend inside the house. My brother and his friend waved at us as we passed. However, we didnât stop for long to chat, I knew Jimin would be leaving soon and I knew I would be able to see him for months, so I wanted to spend as much time with him alone.
We decided on an action movie, and cuddled into my bed, entangled into each otherâs arms. I looked up at Jimin and felt love and admiration for this man. He was honestly the most amazing man I ever knew. He looked down at me, pressed a single peck on my forehead, and nuzzled closer to me. The sound of his heartbeat thumping against his chest mixed with the sound of the movie playing. I felt at ease and relaxed against him. Everything was perfect.

You work as a sports trainer, providing basic first aid and injury management for the Hanguk Universityâs soccer team. Going with your mundane life of caring for the dozen of guys hurting themselves in the soccer game takes a turn when one of the guys catches your eyes. Itâs not his breathtakingly good looks or his muscular athletic body usually seducing girls at the campus that catches your eyes. But the action plan in your kit, indicating he is diagnosed with Asthma is what draws your eyes time and time again to the Golden Boy of Hanguk University.
Warning: Slow burn, eventual smut, Taehyung being a freaking tease the whole time, Also Jimin not letting the female MC live for one day, Fuckboy!Jungkook, Asthmatic! Jungkook , mentions of episodes of Asthma, Take your Ventolin kids, Take your medications kids!
P.S. the final member made a cameo (or should I say honorary mention?) , everyone please welcome Mr Min Yoongi!Â
âDo I get to finally taste some of your placebo effect?â
You watch as the guyâs lips curls on one side to a slight smirk, pushing you against the doorframe and locking you between his half naked figure and the frame
âJ-Jimin,â you gasp pushing against the guyâs bare chest âI need to wash up before dinner!â
âMy dinners served right here,â he retorts as he presses his forehead against yours âWhere would I go when my full course meal is standing right here ready for me to eat her up.â
âJimin,â you scold in an authoritative tone âJoon and Jiwoo are waiting for us!â
âBabe, why are you so tense, you just gotta let go and indulge a bit,â he sighs as he moves his head down to your chin, pressing a gentle kiss on the soft skin under your lips â, my tongue skills has never disappointed anyone and youâre not gonna be a first!â
You gulp as a rush of arousal shoots between your legs, biting your lips to deny the temptations of giving in to the guyâs seductive words but the earlier images of Jungkook warning you against Jimin tugs on your heart.
âIâm hungry,â you reply firmly, shifting to move away from him and watch him part his lips to respond but you immediately predict his next words âand not hungry for you Park! LIKE GENIUNLY HUNGRY!â
âFine, I donât know if you heard but the menu is my delicious chicken curry,â He chuckles, his moon shaped eyes disappearing as he moves away from you âIâll let you go on one condition!â
âWhat?â you raise an eyebrow
âJoonie hyung said you give killer massages,â he smirks viciously âand our clubâs physio thinks I would really benefit from some massage.â
âYouâre telling me none of your booty calls are capable of rubbing your neck for you!â you roll your eyes as you walk to the sink to wash your hand
âTheyâre just good at rubbing one off, but not really my neckâ he rests his hand on the doorframe âsomewhere down south!â
You glance at him pointing at his dick which the towel is doing a mediocore job of hiding and roll your eyes âOff course they would!â you snicker as you turn the tap off and move to walk pass him
âSo, are we on?â He asks as he follows you, not caring that heâs about to walk in the living room literally half naked âAm I getting one of your killer massages or not?â
âIâll see,â you turn around stopping him as you face him âIf you behave, like a good boy,â A slight smile plasters on your lips as your hands travels to his blonde hair to stroke the silky strands âthen I might consider.â
âMhmmm,â he raises an eyebrow, âSo youâre into good boys huh?â his eyes darken as he takes a step forward and murmurs âThen why the fuck were you messing around with a guy like Yoongi Hyung?â
Your eyes widen and you immediately step back, expression hardening but he stops you by holding around your waist âHow-How do you know?â
âRelax,â he soothes âYoongi Hyung was SNU soccer teamâs wildcard before setting off for nationals,â he explains softly âHangukâs Nerd and SNUâs Jock, your story is one of the campus favourite love stories.â
âFailed love story,â you correct with a cold tone âIf you havenât heard the ending, Iâll let tell you, Min Yoongi cheated on me,â you add with a tone dripping with venom âWhich was a good lesson for me to not mess around with guys like him anymore!â
âMhmm guys like him âŠâ Jiminâs voice trails off as he stares at you for a few seconds in silence, as if heâs trying to figure you out âExplains why youâve been playing so hard to get!â
âNow you know Park,â you flash a bitter smile âKeep it moving and go make your love story with another girl,â you hesitate before adding âOne that is still stupid enough to believes there is a happy ending with guys like you and Min Yoongi.â
You turn on your heels but his words stop you âI just want my massage,â he calls and you look back at him with an annoyed expression âIâll be a good boy!â he throws his hand up in the air as a sign of succumbing to you
âGet dressed and letâs have dinner first!â
âYes Maâam.â He salutes with a naughty tone before running down the hallway like a little boy
You sigh and turn around towards the living room where Jiwoo and Joon are already indulging in the chicken curry Jimin cooked
âHurry up,â Joon calls with mouth full of food âItâs getting cold, where is Park?â
âGetting dressed,â you mutter through gritted teeth âmaybe you should have told me heâs naked in the shower when I was heading to bathroom.â
âSorry I forgot,â he shrugs as he jams another mouthful of rice and curry in his mouth âItâs not like you donât see naked guys at you at work all the time.â
âSo âŠâ Jiwoo interrupts as you scoop some curry into your plate âYou and Jeon huh?â
âJOON!â You cry and the guy immediately chokes on his food, developing a coughing fit immediately âYouâre fucking useless!â you cry in rage
âdonât scold him,â Jiwoo glares at you as he hands a cup of water to her boyfriend âyouâre useless for not telling me that youâre about to get some of that Golden dick? Why? You thought Iâll ask you to share?â
âHey Hey,â Joon knocks on the table with a raspy voice, scolding Jiwoo âYou young lady, youâre not thirsting over dick when Iâm sitting here all healthy and ready to serve you!â
âI was just saying,â Jiwoo rolls her eyes âThe point is this little snake is fucking Hangukâs Golden Dick and is not telling me- â
âwhoâs fucking Hangukâs Golden dick?â Jimin walks in the living room and you immediately motion to Jiwoo to shut up
âNothing, this curry is actually good- âyou try to change the subject, but your dense friend is clueless to your effort
âSheâs fucking Hangukâs golden dick,â Jiwoo motions to you explaining to Jimin âAKA Jeon Jungkook!â
âOh,â Jimin nods, glancing at you âInteresting, last time I asked her she denied!â
âWait, how did you know?â Joon asks with a confused tone
âLast time we were playing billiard, Jeon was eating her up with his eyes,â Jimin explains with a casual tone âThen he and his stupid friend pulled this shit of betting with me over driving her home,â he hesitates as he munches on his bread âthe guyâs pretty aggressive!â
âDidnât I tell you to take her home?â Joon throws a piece of bread at Jimin before glancing at you âSo this has been going for a while!â
âFirst of all, I can get my ass home just fine, you donât need to assign your minions to take care of me,â you glance at Jimin and quickly mutter âSecond of all, NOTHING HAS BEEN GOING ON! Just because you all canât keep your coochie in your pants like some hormonal teenagers doesnât mean I canât either!â
âTheyâre boning,â Jimin immediately replies following your statement
âI agree,â Jiwoo reaches to high five him âThe fact that sheâs denying it so hard, proves it all more!â
âI donât care if youâve fucked him or not,â Joon adds âYouâre stopping it right here, right now!â he warns before glancing at Jimin âAnd you, next time I assign you to take care of her, you stick to her and donât leave her side until I say so.â
âYes Captain,â Jiminâs grin widens as he wraps his arms around you âGot the field all covered, Jeon wouldnât even get past the midfield to make the goal.â
âI am doing just fine not boning Jeon,â you swat his hand away as you glare at your best friend âAlso itâs not like your little minion is any better than Jeon!â
âDarling, Iâm sitting right here,â Jimin raises an eyebrow âThatâs the second time youâve insulted my height and I can only take so much.â
âYou called me a field like Iâm some sort of a fucking ball game!â you spit back at the guy in disbelief
âThis is why Iâm not worried about him,â Joon chimes in âYou two probably kill each other before actually get to the action. In my risk analysis heâs less dangerous than Jeon at this point.â
âYour risk analysis can suck my non-existent dick!â you throw a napkin at him
âI donât care what you say,â Joon declares firmly âJeon is a no no, I can lend you the whole SNUâs soccer club if you need to get laid, but Jeon is too risky for you. Stay away from him.â
âThanks for the advice grandpa,â you roll your eyes âKeep your SNU boys to yourself.â
âYou can always have me all to yourself baby,â Jimin leans in to whisper against your ears when you bring the knife up close to him
âBehave Park! I have a knife in my hand!â
You sigh as he laughs and shifts away from you and all of you continue eating your dinner in peace.
-
You look at the guy gasping for air as he crouches down against the wall, your shaking hands immediately looking through your kit as you find the can of supplemental oxygen and rush back to him. You donât know how you got yourself to the office when the coach told you Jeon left the game half time because he wasnât feeling well and asked you to check on him before Dr. Kim arrives because it looked kind of serious.
You immediately made a phone call to Dr Kim as you ran with your life to the office where you hoped youâd find the guy. When you entered the office you found the guy plastered against the wall, coughing for his life, his lips parted and gasping for air, a layer of sweat on his forehead and tears in his eyes sending you to a full on panic on all the sign and symptoms of a fight or flight response you could recognize.
You kneel against him, bringing the mouthpiece to his lips âOn the count of three, take a deep breath in for me-â
Your gaze falters as he slaps the can away from him and brings his dark gaze to you
âJ-Jeon-â
âI donât need your pity,â he says through gritted teeth âGet out of my face.â
âI called Dr.Kim, he told me to give you some oxygen while we wait on him,â You mutter, anger taking over your words but trying really hard to stay calm âIâll get fired if he arrives and knows I havenât done my job!â
âWouldnât that be good for you?â He scoffs raising an eyebrow âMaybe you can get a job at SNU and suck Park Jiminâs dick full time.â
âW-What?â you furrow your eyebrows âWhat are you talking about-â
âYou went riding his dick right after you were about to fuck me IN MY FUCKING ROOM,â he raises his voice âI saw how you were straddling him on Jiwoo Nunaâs Instagram.â
Your head starts running like a clock and you feel your breath hitching in your throat, you never noticed Jiwoo taking a picture of you. But knowing the girl is a social media guru you werenât surprised hearing she posted a photo of you giving Jimin a neck massage. And to anyone who wasnât there that night, specially the guy sitting against you it would look as if you were doing things other than just a therapeutic massage.
âI- âyou part your lips âI didnât- â
âSo, itâs just me isnât it?â He raises an eyebrow âWhenever I fucking touch you, you push me away and act all virgin Mary,â He scoffs âBut You donât have a problem humping Park Jiminâs cock like a whore, Do you?â
âJungkook, J-Just please stop talking! â you sigh âI can explain, itâs not what youâre thinking-â
âIs it because Iâm sick?â
Your eyes widen as you look at him, trying to figure out if you actually heard him wrong âWhat?â
âIs it because of my asthma?â He asks, glaring at you, tears and hurt plastered on his expression âIs that why youâre turned off by me?â
âJ-Jeon âŠâ you sigh his name, heart beating fast in your chest as you try to digest his words
âWhat could be the reason then?â his eyes roams around the room as he lists the reasons âIâm taller than him, hotter than him, play better soccer, Fuck even my dickâs bigger than that 3 inch and you fucking know it,â he brings his hooded gaze to you âNo matter how much I think about it, Itâs my Asthma, that must be it!â
Your heart starts aching in your chest, all you want to do is to press your lips against the guyâs quivering lips, kissing him until you prove to him that whatever story heâs painting is not real. That youâve never perceived him any less attractive just because of his condition. That if Joon wasnât on your ass since the night you were at his place, you probably would have fucked him already.
But you canât do that, and you know it very well, that if you confess that youâve been attracted to the guy you would enter a dangerous territory that you know is risky. More important than that you canât go against your promise with your best friend and mess with the guy he warned you against.
âI- âyou gulp looking at him as you try to form the sentence but the door snaps open, revealing Dr. Kim who rushes in
âIâm here!â he declares, and you quickly distance yourself from the guy, sighing in relief

Law & Lust
TVD Imagine: Enzo St. John
Premise: Y/N is new to town and finds out her new employer is a vampire, not long later things take a surprising turn.
Theme: Mature / Smut (18+)
Other: Y/N goes by she/her and is human
Word Count: 4.5k
Authorâs Note: I hope you enjoy this smutty imagine, the idea randomly came to me so here goes nothing :-)
âââââ
It was a dark night as Y/N stood in the poorly lit alleyway, trying to find her way back home. She was new to the area and wasnât fully acquainted with her neighbourhood. It wasnât just a run of the mill move but an overseas one. Y/N flew from the south of England to move to the southern United States. A golden job opportunity arose that she couldnât decline, plus she had dreamed of visiting since childhood.
Mystic Falls seemed like a dainty cute town and Y/N hoped to meet some like minded people that also liked hiking, going on spontaneous trips and eating out. Y/N wouldnât consider herself an extrovert but she certainly enjoyed socializing in the right doses. The people here seemed friendly enough so it encouraged Y/N to mingle a little.
She was just walking back from a coffee date, well not exactly a date as such, with a sweet guy called Matt. She didnât get his last name but didnât care enough as she doubted she would see him again. As Y/N continued on she could hear some shuffling noises from behind. Ignoring it, believing it was some sort of animal, Y/N hurried along.
After a couple of minutes the sound renewed. Paranoid now, Y/N turned to face the source of the noise. Before she could process what was going on, she felt herself being pushed against a fence. A scream escaped her mouth as the culprit tried diving in for her exposed neck. Y/N could feel her heart beating erratically as she tried to fend for herself, to no avail. This stranger was strong.
All of a sudden Y/N could feel her aggressors grip lighten and eventually leave and came face to face with a young man instead, who had dark hair and light eyes. âAre you okay, miss?â The handsome stranger smiled. Slightly disoriented, Y/N nodded. âI can walk you to your intended destinationâ he offered. Usually Y/N would be wary of any stranger and decline, but this man seemed different. Honest and safe. âOkay, sureâ With that the pair headed off to Y/Nâs new home.
As they approached the front door the young man hesitated. Y/N noticed and smiled softly. âThank you for walking me back homeâ He returned the gesture and continued with her to the door. âGoodnight darlinâ, stay safeâ Before letting him go, Y/N wanted to know his name. âIâm Y/N, whatâs your name?â With a grin, he said âEnzo, Enzo St Johnâ. As he said his last name he emphasized it with a British twang.
âOh, youâre from England too?â Y/N asked as her face lit up. He stayed quiet for a moment but shook his head, smiling sadly. Well, that was odd Y/N thought but discarded that weird feeling she felt. âWell thanks again Enzoâ. Taking a step indoors and closing the door, Y/N took a peek through the side window and there was no sight of the handsome stranger who walked her home.
Sighing, she got ready for bed and tucked herself in snugly. Eventually after pondering the earlier incident, she fell asleep.
***
The following morning Y/N went to work at her new law firm. She was excited to start this new venture. Her boss had informed her that she had a meeting first thing that a.m. With a latte in hand, she walked through the shiny doors and found her way to her bossâs door. Upon entering, she nearly dropped the cup on the floor. Y/Nâs eyes widened at her new employer. The one and only Enzo. Enzo St John. Wow, she thought, perplexed.
His eyebrows raised quickly at his new employee, surprised to see it was the damsel in distress from the night before. âY/N, uh, welcomeâ The sudden pause indicated his surprise and Y/N blushed involuntarily. Enzo noticed but didnât react. He suddenly felt awkward and looked away, motioning for her to sit down. âEmily will show you around and get you acquainted with the office. If you have any questions just ask her. Sheâs been my assistant for over 5 years now and is incredibly efficient and sweet, so youâll have no trouble settling in comfortablyâ he started. âI was very impressed by your interview notes that my colleague sent me whilst I was away on a business trip, and I look forward to working with youâ. Y/N smiled and thanked Enzo for his warm welcome. As the meeting ended and Y/N got up to grab the door handle, Enzo touched her hand to stop her from leaving.
Y/N blushed again, feeling flushed. What was he doing? She thought. She bit her lip as he kept still, awaiting his next move. Instead of perusing her, he pulled away. Y/N took an intake of breath before pulling the handle, finally closing the door behind her.
Y/N was still thinking about Enzo whilst Emily gave her a tour of the office. Emily seemed nice and as if she loved her job. I guess it didnât hurt having Enzo as her boss though. He was eye candy as well as seemingly being a gentleman. Y/N would be surprised if she found out he was single.
Once Emilyâs tour was over, Y/N sat at her desk reorganizing the layout and filling the desk drawers with all her essential items. The day flew by as Y/N sifted through all the paperwork and made all the appropriate phone calls. As it was time to clock out, Y/N arrived at the elevator doors. When they opened, Enzo was face to face with her. They caught eyes and he immediately looked away. He was nervous much to Y/Nâs obliviousness. All she saw was disinterest and professionalism as her eyes followed him walking away.
Y/N was lost in her thoughts as she walked home that night. It felt colder than it was so she hurried along. Y/N wanted nothing more right now than to drink a warm cup of cocoa and watch some Law and Order. Law enforcement shows were her favourite. That was the main reason for her going down the law career route. She was a while away from working with law enforcement though but this was a great step towards that. Luckily Y/N also had duel nationality with the US so she could work with the government if she ever wanted to.
Y/N was slowly starting to drift asleep as the TV hummed in the background. She finally fell unconscious as her dreams filled her mind.
***
The weekend rolled over fairly quickly and Y/N decided to go for a walk around town to get familiar with the place. Loads of people were gathered in the parks and coffee shops, the weather permitting such occasions. Y/N smiled as she breathed in the fresh morning air.
Y/N laid eyes upon the Mystic Grill and ogled at it. Boy was she hungry right now. She decided to have some brunch and relax. Pushing the doors open, Y/N accidentally bumped into Matt. âOh, hi Y/N!â He grinned. âHi Mattâ she replied casually. âIt was nice hanging out the other day. I have some friends that you may like to meet since youâre new here. Iâm sure youâll love themâ Y/N smiled, he was such a kind person. It looked like he was just being friendly which was good. Enzo was constantly in her thoughts that Matt was invisible to her in that way.
Effectively Enzo was just a stranger. Now her new boss. No way were they ever going to be an item. He was classy, highly educated, owned his own law firm, and extremely attractive. Y/N felt like she was totally out of his league. Not that she was below par but nothing special.
As Y/N was assigned a table, she looked over the menu, eyes glossing over the irrelevant details. Eventually she found the perfect dish, a mushroom risotto and white wine. Once her order was placed, Y/N twiddled her thumbs.
Her phone buzzed in her pocket. Emilyâs number popped up on the screen as the phone kept vibrating in her hand. Oh, a weekend emergency at the office? Y/N wondered. âHi Emily!â Y/N greeted happily. âHello Y/N, how are you? There are just a couple of things Enzo needs to go over with you quickly. Do you mind coming in as soon as possible?â Ah, Enzo needed her to come help him with something? How peculiar, especially for a weekend. âSure, Iâll be there as soon as Iâve finished my food at the Mystic Grill. Iâm literally nearby, I can be there for half an hours timeâ. Emily thanked her before hanging up.
The food made itâs way to Y/N quickly and she ate it promptly. She paid the bill when she was finished with her meal and headed to the office. The place was deadly silent which felt odd, Y/N was used to a busy office. Once the elevator arrived at the 3rd floor, Y/N found Enzoâs office and knocked.
He opened the door and pulled her inside. Y/N was taken by surprise at the sudden movement. As he closed the door he eyed Y/N, feeling anxious. âWhat did you need help for?â Y/N asked, confused. âI canât keep this a secret anymoreâ Y/N shifted uncomfortably on the spot. He waltzed over to her and stared deeply into her eyes. Her eyes bore into his, completely mesmerized. It was as if she couldnât look away.
âY/N, donât freak out. Youâre safe and I wouldnât ever hurt you. I promise you. I have to tell you what I am. I canât keep this a secret from you, especially since I havenât been able to stop thinking about you ever since that first night we metâ Enzo declared. âI, Iâm a vampireâ He said after a short pause. He pulled away whilst still keeping his eyes locked on hers as he suddenly bared his fangs. Y/Nâs eyes widened but couldnât move from her spot.
âWhen I stop compelling you, donât run awayâ he said as he took her hand and squeezed lightly. Enzo finished compelling Y/N and awaited her move.
âBut, how? What? I must be hallucinating!â Y/N exclaimed, heart racing at the speed of light. She did as he commanded and stayed put but wanted nothing more than to flee. She had never expected even in her wildest dreams to come into contact with a member of the supernatural. Something completely fictional. Yet not fictional at all.
âWhy canât I leave? Please, let me goâ Y/N said quietly, eyes watering. Enzo could feel the fear radiating from her and wanted nothing more than to bring her in for a warm embrace. He was aching for her. âLike I said, I would never hurt you. I really like you Y/N. Youâre smart, kind, intelligent, interesting, and beautifulâ He said beautiful slowly, taking a deep breath.
This was everything Y/N wanted to hear before, but now that he revealed himself to be a vampire, Y/N felt scared. She wanted to believe him, but she needed space. âPlease, just give me some space and time to process thisâ. Enzo sighed in defeat and nodded. âOkay, but please come back to me when youâre readyâ He pleaded, placing a soft kiss on Y/Nâs forehead.
As soon as she could move, Y/N bolted for the door. She ran outside, ran as far as her legs could carry her and cried herself to sleep once she arrived home, curling up on the sofa.
***
Work was filled with awkward silences between Enzo and Y/N, Y/N avoiding his gaze every time she came into contact with him. One night after work, Y/N went to the Mystic Grill for a drink. Once she got to the bar she ordered a bourbon whiskey neat. After 5 minutes a friendly face appeared. Matt smiled at Y/N and took the free seat next to her.
âHey, are you okay? You seem a little offâ Matt asked worriedly. âItâs that obvious?â She laughed sadly. He squeezed her forearm and offered her a sympathetic smile. âWhatâs troubling you?â He asked. âYou wouldnât believe me even if I triedâ. Matt felt like he understood what she was insinuating but let her continue. âTry meâ. Y/N took an inhale of breath, afraid of sounding crazy.
âI found out my boss is... a vampireâ Y/N cringed at how insane that sounded. âUgh I know, you donât believe me do you. I understand. I wouldnât have if you told me the same thing. I feel like Iâm either going crazy or Iâm living in a much scarier world than I ever imaginedâ. Matt kept silent for a moment, and Y/N bit her lip in anticipation.
âLetâs talk somewhere a little more privateâ and with that he took her hand and they walked to a nearby park and sat at a lone bench. âThe supernatural are real. Iâve lived among them for years, and at first I had no idea. I actually, um, really dislike them. Sadly some of my friends are supernatural but thatâs just the reality of life here in Mystic Falls. People you care about most are undead or some sort of creature. Take werewolves for exampleâ. Y/Nâs ears pricked up at werewolves and gulped.
âI know this is overwhelming but youâll get used to it. Anyway, so whoâs your boss?â He asked curiously. âHis name is Enzo St Johnâ. Matt raised his eyebrows, stunned. âI know him. He used to date my friend Bonnie. Heâs good friends with Damon Salvatore. Heâs one person that gets on my last nerve, he knows it and uses it to his advantage. Enzo is alright, but I havenât had much contact with the guy. If he was good enough for Bonnie then he must be okayâ. Y/N took all this information in surprisingly well, Matt thought.
âI just canât believe it, itâs just so surreal! I donât know what to think. Also what do you mean by Enzo being okay if Bonnie dated him?â She asked curiously. âBonnie had an aversion to vampires like me but since sheâs a witch, she eventually fell for another supernaturalâ. Wow, Y/N thought. âThere are witches too?â She said in awe.
Matt laughed, she was definitely taking this way better than he did. âYeah... and hybrids, sirens, doppelgĂ€ngers, heretics among othersâ. âOh my, this is overwhelming. I think I just want to watch some TV and fall asleepâ Y/N confessed. Matt nodded in agreement. âIf you need anything, just call me. Take careâ he said as they parted ways.
It was a few days later and Y/N was in her kitchen preparing some leftovers for dinner. There was an unexpected knock at the door. Y/N wasnât waiting for anybody but as she opened the door she froze. It was Enzo. Y/N was starting to accept that she was walking among the undead and beyond. It was still a shock but the initial feeling wore off. She finally felt okay to be in his presence.
Y/N held open the door for Enzo to walk in but he quickly hesitated. âYou can come in Enzo, I wonât biteâ She said, unaware of the pun. Enzo was surprised at her casualness. He raised his eyebrows at her and she realised what she said. She laughed, for the first time in weeks.
She went back to her food whilst Enzo sat at the island. Y/N had a nice house for someone who just moved to the area. The place was already decorated and felt cozy. She definitely tried to bring her culture with her and it showed in the decor.
âWhyâre you here Enzo?â Y/N wondered. âI wanted to check on you to see if you were okayâ. Y/N could tell that he felt on edge. âI had a chat with Matt Donovan a few days ago and he told me everything about the supernatural, and about you and Bonnieâ, Y/N said the last part a bit quieter.
Enzoâs head snapped up to look at Y/N. He wondered what Matt had told her about him and Bonnie. They were a thing of the past, a flame blown out. âWe used to date, yes. But weâve moved on. It was years ago. I donât want to talk about itâ Y/N smiled knowingly, she could relate about not wanting to talk about an ex.
âOf course, I understandâ Y/N offered, feeling sympathy for the vampire. Enzo used his vampire speed to come up behind Y/N and slid his arm around her waist. He nuzzled into her neck and kissed her ever so softly. âI want youâ Enzo closed his eyes as he moaned into her neck. His body was pressed closely to hers, the warmth radiating from her back.
Y/N pushed her plate to the side and gripped the counter for balance. Enzo was satisfied that she was submitting to him. He slowly shoved his right hand under her skirt and rubbed circles on her clit. She moaned out, eyes closed tightly shut. âIâve dreamed about doing this to you since we met the second time at my officeâ he whispered seductively. Y/N quivered under his touch and her legs felt wobbly. Enzo held on tighter and squeezed her hips.
He wanted to take her right then and there but wanted to prolong the sexual tensions. He wanted to hear Y/N moan out his name so he pushed the fabric of her panties aside and inserted a couple of fingers inside her. Y/N licked her lips as Enzo kept sliding his fingers in and out. Eventually his name escaped her lips and he smiled satisfyingly. âDoes that feel good baby?â He cooed. Y/N nodded, unable to use her words. The intensity increased and Y/N gripped the counter tighter, knuckles turning white. Enzo let go and gripped her hands as he pushed his body into hers again. This time both of them let out a moan, Enzo close to Y/Nâs ear. She shivered from the almost touch of his mouth to her face.
Immediately, Enzo carried Y/N bridal style upstairs to the bathroom. Y/N raised her eyebrows in question. Instead of answering her he smirked and kicked the door shut as he sat her down at the edge of the bath.
âEver had sex in the bath?â He winked. Y/N hadnât, and the idea turned her on. They undressed each other and Enzo caressed her cheek softly, in adoration. He gazed into her eyes for a second, looking for any hesitation. Luckily Y/N stared at his lips, biting her own seductively.
âHas anyone ever told you how incredibly sexy you are?â Enzo said with his voice hoarse. Y/N could see his erection emerging so she grabbed hold of his waist and shoved herself against his body so that their naked bodies were molded together. The unexpected motion made Enzo groan deeply. His sound made Y/N feel wet down below. She wanted him inside her asap.
Y/N climbed into the bath and laid down, arching her back and touching herself, hoping for Enzo to ravishingly devour her. He went in after her and gripped her hips to lift her onto him. As she sunk down her weight they both exhaled deeply, a soft moan escaping Y/Nâs lips and a deep groan escaping Enzoâs.
Enzo moved very slowly at first, then quickened his pace. He wasnât going quick enough for Y/Nâs liking and she sighed. âI need you so bad, please go fasterâ Y/N moaned, eagerly awaiting more friction. âIâm the one whoâs in charge here, darlinââ Enzo used that term again for the second time, but on this occasion it oozed sexiness. He kept his movement slow just to punish Y/N. She jerked her hips up, grinding hard. âPlease baby...â Y/N stuttered, who was beyond desperate.
Since she was so needy, Enzo pushed into her roughly and she screamed out. She gripped his arms as he kept his rhythm fast. Y/N then wrapped her legs around his hips to get him to go deeper. Enzo wrapped his hand around Y/Nâs neck with light pressure as he pounded into her. âDoes that feel okay?â Enzo asked breathlessly. âUh huhâ Y/N whispered. Y/N could feel herself nearing her climax. âBabe, Iâm so closeâ Y/N whined. âHold it for meâ Enzo demanded, he wanted to cum with her.
âCan I cum yet?â Y/N pleaded, she was ready to burst. Enzoâs lips found hers to drown out her moans as he quickened his pace. He was nearing his climax and was about to come undone. He grunted as they were both ready to release. âOh, fuck...â They moaned together.
Once they were finished, they ran the shower. Enzo lathered soap in his hands and rubbed it on Y/Nâs back from behind her and moved his hands over her stomach and inner thighs. She rested her head against his collarbone as he massaged her body. Once she was all rinsed off she returned the favor. After the water washed over him, Enzo placed both hands against the wall while trapping Y/N between his arms. He rested his forehead against hers and closed his eyes. âHow do you feel?â He asked genuinely, hoping she felt finally safe with him. âLike Iâm exactly where Iâm supposed to beâ She smiled.
Enzo felt reassured and walked Y/N to her bed where they laid together in a warm embrace. Y/N fell asleep quickly while Enzo just kept her close.
The following morning Enzo was still by her side and she looked up at him with a sweet smile. âMorning my loveâ He beamed. It was the first time he used the word love and Y/Nâs heart fluttered. âMorning handsomeâ Y/N said into his chest.
Going to work after they became intimate went surprisingly well and with no hiccups. Nobody knew of their affair and even if they had been obvious around each other, Enzo would compel suspecting individuals to become oblivious.
***
Weeks had passed whilst Enzo and Y/N got to know each other more in their spare time. One night they sat on Y/Nâs couch and drank some wine. âDamn, youâre so beautifulâ Enzo said out of the blue. Y/N smiled, her eyes lighting up. âYouâre quite dashing yourselfâ Y/N laughed. Enzo bit his lip as he stared at Y/Nâs.
Instead of replying, he grabbed her face and kissed her aggressively. Taken aback, Y/N pulled away to catch her breath. Their faces found each otherâs again and Y/N sat on Enzoâs lap. A low growl escaped his lips as Y/N slid up his crotch, the friction of their clothes rubbing against their privates making them both aroused.
âIâm desperate, please fuck meâ Y/N moaned. This surprised Enzo but excited him at the same time. They both undressed and stared at each other whilst doing so, eager to feel the burning desire building deep inside them to become ignited. âAre you going to be good for me?â Enzo asked dominantly. âWhat if I want to be bad?â Y/N cooed seductively. Enzo laughed, not expecting that response. âIâll only fuck you if youâre a good girlâ He replied more confidently. âI want it to hurtâ Y/N blurted out, surprised at her eagerness. It wasnât like her to be so adventurous in bed but Enzo ignited a deep desire to be wild. Enzo was equally stunned at her sudden request. He was going to start softly and work his way to being rougher. He just didnât want to literally hurt her.
First Enzo shoved his fingers inside her and moved around, starting his handiwork. Y/N started moaning loudly. âYouâre gonna have to stay quiet if you want me to let you cum sweetheartâ Y/N bit her lip instead of answering. He really wanted to shove her against the wall and fuck her senseless.
He couldnât wait any longer so he took her in for a kiss as he guided her to the nearest wall. He pinned her arms above her head and pressed his body to hers. She could feel his dick pressing against her inner thigh and leaned forwards so she could rub against it. âI told you I was in charge babeâ Enzo said as he pushed her off him an inch. Y/N groaned in response, all she wanted was for him to be inside her. She closed her eyes and tried to focus on every sensation he was giving her. He touched her core and hummed. âGosh youâre so wet right nowâ
Enzo demanded that she turn around. She did as he asked and he parted her cheeks as he slid his cock inside her. She yelped out from the force of it but relaxed into him as he slid in and out or her wet center steadily. He pulled out so he could bring her to the kitchen counter. The cold marble sent shivers down Y/Nâs spine as her back touched it. He resumed his previous position and continued pounding himself into Y/Nâs core. He whispered in her ear âYouâre all mine, moan for me babyâ. Y/N happily let out her pent up frustrations, crying out in ecstasy.
âIâm about to cum baby, please let meâ Y/N was in total euphoria. Enzo wanted to keep up his dominant persona but was just really into letting Y/N get what she wanted because he was so in love with her. âLet go for meâ Y/N moaned several times as she came around him and clenched. Enzo groaned as he was reaching his own orgasm, the squeezing of her muscles sending him over the edge. They both panted from the intense fucking and fell limp in each otherâs arms. Y/N started standing up but Enzo wasnât having it.
âIâm not done with you yetâ He said as he brought her close to him again. She didnât know what he had in mind but awaited his next move. âGet down, nowâ Enzo ordered. Y/Nâs doe eyes widened for a spit second as she obeyed. He used both hands to force her head to his member. âThat feels so damn good Y/Nâ Enzo grunted as she took his whole length in her mouth. She gagged so he pulled out slightly. She then used her hands to pump him as he fucked her mouth. His own mouth hung open as he tilted his head back against the wall. He shook under her touch as she increased the speed. âIâm about to cum Y/Nâ Enzo gasped. Y/N edged him further as she wanted to hear his raspy voice curse out in pleasure. He grunted out repeatedly as he came in her mouth. His hot seed was falling down her throat as she swallowed. âYou were so good babe, Iâm still buzzing from that whole experienceâ He grinned.
Y/N took Enzo in for a passionate kiss and her tongue found his hungrily. When she pulled away, he grabbed her hand and placed his soft lips to them. âI love youâ
She looked away for a moment which panicked Enzo. However when she turned back her eyes were watering. âBabe, are you okay?â Enzo asked worriedly. âYes, itâs just that I love you tooâ She sniffed. Enzoâs heart felt full and he gave her an affectionate hug.
Y/N finally felt at home in Mystic Falls, but most importantly she found home with Enzo, her one true love. She smiled to herself as they fell asleep together, her dreams finally peaceful.

For You, Anything. (Cartman!Reader x Kyle)
(Y/N) Cartman. My full name. Sibling to the well known as an idiot, Eric Cartman. We were twins, I was born 10 minutes earlier, much to his dismay, and he always made my life a living hell for it. He did not think it was fair to him that he was younger, but that was the way it was.Â
â(Y/NNNNNN). Come on. Weâre gonna be lateeeeeâ my brother groans, his annoying voice slipping out as he whines. âCome onnnnn.âÂ
âRelax Eric, Iâll come when I comeâ I say, irritated.Â
âHaha. Thats what she-â
âFinish that statement and Iâll punch your teeth inâ . He goes silent. Iâm the only one heâd listen to because he knows I wonât put up with his bullshit.Â
âFinally. Jesus woman, you take forever to get readyâ Eric says, sighing in relief when I finally come downstairs ready to go.
âYeah, yeah. Lets just go before we miss the bus.âÂ
This was the first year I was attending school with Eric. When we were younger, we did not get along, so I went to live with our father. He got sick of me and sent me back to live with my mom and Eric, telling me to never contact him again, and then I was forced to finish my senior year of high school in a new city, with new people, with my twin brother, who I have learned, has the reputation of an asshole.Â
We arrive down at the bus stop, where we are met with four other boys our age. One  with black hair wearing a red and blue hat, one blonde haired kid, hiding most of his face in a parka, and the last one, a red haired boy, wearing a green hat.Â
âHey Cartman.â The one in the blue hat says, referring to my brother, but pauses when he sees me next to him. âUm. Whoâs thisâÂ
âYeah sheâs hot. Iâd like to get a piece of thatâ the orange parka boy says.Â
âIâm (Y/N) Car-â Iâm cut off.Â
âHer name is (Y/N). She just moved here. Weâre neighbors.â He gives me a death glare which immediately tells me to shut my mouth.Â
âUh, Hiâ I notice the guy in the green hat still hasnât said anything to me. He just stares. Itâs really creepy.Â
âFatass. What did you do to this poor girl?â Green hat guy asks, looking at me in concern. âShe seemed scared out of her wits.â Oh I wasnât scared. Eric wanted to pretend I wasnât his sister, fine, but Iâm going to play this to the best of my abilities.Â
âHe didnât do anything to meâ I say sweetly, batting my eyelashes, and the green hatted kidâs face goes bright red. âI never did catch your name. I donât think its fair you know mine, but I donât know yoursâÂ
âUh, K-Kyleâ he is  a red, stuttering mess. But his name fits him. I donât exactly know how it fits so well, but just by looking at his face, it matches. The green eyes, freckles littered around the bridge of his nose like stars at twilight. Itâs soothing. We both get caught up in our staring we forget about the other three boys standing next to us, carrying on with their own conversation, or the fact that the school bus pulled up and was waiting for us to board. It seemed as if we were in our own little world.Â
âHey!â. Itâs Ericâs screaming that breaks us out of our trance, both looking away with red cheeks that didnât come from the freezing Colorado air. âLetâs goooooâ he whines, for the countless time this morning.Â
âJesus, fatass, okay weâll get onâ Kyle says, irritation easily changing his entire attitude. He looks towards me and notions for me to get on the bus before him, after the other three had boarded and taken their seats. The entire bus ride was boring, just Kyle and Eric going back and forth between each other, insults making their way in every other word. I sat next to the boy with the blue hat that introduced himself as Stan, and behind the parka wearing boy named Kenny, who remained turned around in his seat no matter how many times he got yelled at.Â
The bus ride to the small high school was short, too short for my liking. Talking with Stan and Kenny was a lot of fun, and I didnât want to end it. But as quickly as our friendship had come, the conversations had come to an end. Â
âHey, (Y/N)! What class do you have first?â Stan asks, as we exit the bus and stand at the entrance of South Park High. It reminded me of the school back home, with the obvious cliques seen just by gazing around the campus, and the judgemental looks I felt by anyone who walked by.Â
âUm, English, with um Mr.Garrison?âÂ
âOh shit dudeâ Kenny speaks âYouâre with me!â. He slings his arm across my shoulders and flashes me a bright smile.
âWoah, Kenny, you got Garrison?â Cartman asks, bursting out laughing. âOh man thatâs greatâ
âWhatâs so bad about Garrison?â I ask, shrugging off Kennyâs arm, blind to the glare Kyle sent towards the parka wearing boy.Â
âOh man what isnât wrong with him? He was our fourth grade teacher and underwent like 4 sex changes, went from being gay, to lesbian, to straight, back to gay, and then became president and tried to build a wall between us and Mexico. He insaneâ Stan says, making elaborate hand gestures to show effect.Â
âHe seems crazy, you guys must have had a rough childhood from that. Iâm sorryâ. All three boys laugh at that.Â
âYou have no idea how rough our childhood wasâ Kyle chuckles. The second he finishes laughing, the bell rings, sending us in our separate ways in promise to meet up for lunch. I follow Kenny towards the classroom, eager to see the man that seemed so bad. Upon entering the room, Mr.Garrison is standing in front of several rows of desks, a chalkboard behind. Could they not afford computers and screens? The old school I attended had them. Mr.Garrison was an older man, half balding with grey hair as the little he had. Some sort of puppet was on his left hand. Great, he seemed as crazy as the guys made him out to be.Â
âOh. You must be the new girl.â Mr.Garrison says, and I nod, and walk up to him.Â
âCould you not mention my last name please? Iâm trying to avoid people knowingâ I say quietly to him, and he looks at his roster and his eyes widen.Â
â(Y/N) Cartman? Youâre related to that little asshole?â He says loudly, but not loud enough for anyone to hear, just the person standing behind me.Â
âYouâre related to Cartman?â I hear Kennyâs muffled, but shock filled question. I turn around and cover his mouth, or where I think his mouth is.Â
âYou canât tell anyone! You have to promise me!â I say quickly, and Kenny chuckles.Â
âOh man, Kyle has a thing for you and youâre related to that fatass. Good luckâ. He turns towards the rows of desks and sits down, patting the seat next to him, motioning for me to sit. I take the desk next to him, and next to another kid. He seems to be wearing a letterman jacket, with brown hair. Just by the way he was sitting, it was easy to see that he was cocky. The second I sat down in my seat beside Kenny, he turns his entire body away from the blonde girl he was talking with.Â
âI havenât seen you around here. Are you new?â He asks âIâm Clyde, Clyde Donivianâ he says, extending a hand out towards me.
â(Y/N).â I give him a smile.Â
âA beautiful name for a beautiful girlâ he says, flashing a smile, when Kenny interrupts.Â
âBack off Donivan. Kyleâs called dibsâ Kenny chuckles, and in return Clyde pouts, going back to flirting with the girl in the opposite side of him. I turn towards Kenny.Â
âWhat do you mean that Kyle called dibs? Iâm not something that you can just, claimâ I say, before turning and facing forward as the bell rings. Kenny attempts to get my attention throughout the rest of class but I chose to ignore him, still a bit upset.Â
Soon enough lunch comes, and I make my way towards the cafeteria, after stopping and asking for directions a few times. Entering the loud, crowded cafeteria, instantly notoicing the orange parka and green hat, she makes a beeline towards the only group she really knows. She makes it about halfway when sheâs whipped away by a blue hooded man, towards another table.Â
âWhat? Hey!â She says, attempting to getr out of this strangers grasp. Being this close to him, she began to notice a few things. His black hair stuck out in small parts of his hood, and he had extremely blue eyes. He leads me towards a table. I recognize the brown haired boy from class, Clyde, but there was also two other boys seated there.Â
âCraig-ack! You canât just-just drag her here!â the blonde haired boy says, his words stuttered.Â
âYeah! You should have asked her!â he turns to me. âI uh, Iâm sorry about Craig here. Iâm Token. These are my friends, Tweek-â he points to the blonde one, âCraigâ he points to the one still holding onto me, who in return flips them off, âand Clydeâ.Â
âUh, hi? Why am I over here?â I ask, turning towards the boys at the tableÂ
âWell, youâre hot, weâre hot, you should be with usâ Clyde speaks up, attempting to wink.Â
âYeah- uh, no. Iâll be going back nowâ I say, attempting to leave, but Craig, still silent, grabs hold of my arm.Â
âSitâ his voice finally speaks. Not wanting to go against him, I sit on the empty side of the table, as far as I could from the boys, which becomes futile as Craig sits right beside me.Â
âSo, (Y/N). What brings you to south park?â Token asks
âI decided to move back with my mom who lives hereâ is all I say, not really wanting to talk to the guys who quite literally kidnapped me.Â
âAck- youâre-youâre from here?â Tweek says, to which I give a nod.Â
â(Y/N)!â I hear a voice and my head whips around, and I see Kenny storming towards me. He grabs hold of my arm and takes me from the table, much to their irritation. âWhy are you with these assholes? Youâre supposed to be with us!â he says, beginning to drag me back towards their table.Â
Stan seemed to be interested into the black haired girl sitting at the table, while Kyle and Eric were arguing over something. The second I arrived back at their table, they go silent,. Kyle sends me a smile as I sit, which I return.Â
âWhere the hell were you (Y/N)? You were supposed to be here ten minutes ago!â Eric complains âNot like you care, but Craig and his crew apparently had something important to say to meâ
âYou were with Craig's crew! Stay away from them! Theyâre not good influences!â I roll my eyes
âIt wasnât like I wanted to go over thereâÂ
âWhatever. Give me my cheezy poofs-â Eric mumbles, before I throw the bag of the chips at him.Â
âFatass- stop harassing the new girl! Bring your own cheey poofsâ Kyle saysÂ
âWell our mom packed them for me but then she put them in (Y/N)âs bag instead of mine.â Kyle freezesÂ
âWait- are you- related to fatassâ Kyle asks, looking towards me.Â
âI-uh, yeah. Heâs my twinâ I admit. Instantly Kyle is up out of his seat and making his way into the hall.Â
I look towards Stan, since they seem to be the closest, but he shrugs, as if not knowing what to say.Â
The rest of the day goes without a hitch. I finish my classes and make my way home, choosing to walk rather than ride the bus. Kyle refused to look me in the eye the rest of the day, which really hurt.Â
Once I arrive home, I head straight up to my room, not stopping to listen to Eric calling our mother all the names he could for the mix up at lunch. Shutting and locking the door behind me, I sigh, pulling out my headphones and starting my homework. I had a lot to catch up on, especially since I came in the middle of the school year, but It was easy, especially because I had already learned most of it from my other school.Â
A solid and hard knock on my window is what jolts me from my focus. I whip my head around to see the familiar green hat outside my window. Instantly I go and open it, allowing him to crawl in and sprawl on my bedroom floor. A few puffs of his red hair stuck out of his hat as he went to catch his breath.Â
âWhat-what are you doing here?â I ask, sitting back on my bed. Last I checked, he was angry at me for being related to Eric. Itâs not like I could change that.Â
âI-I wanted to apologizeâ he says, sitting up after catching his breath. âI shouldnât have gotten mad. I just, couldnât believe youâre related to the fatassâÂ
âOur parents separated when we were young. Our father took me away with him. He soon sent me back hereâ I say. âI hardly know Eric.âÂ
âYou both are so different. Youâre so amazing. Youâre smart, kind, pretty-â he pauses, his cheeks going bright red. âI-I didnât mean that. No- Iâm mean, you are pretty, I just didnât mean to say it- no I did mean to say it agh!â he says, before falling silent.Â
âKyle-âÂ
âDamnit! I have feelings for you and the fact that youâre related to that asshole-â
âKyleâÂ
âYouâre so much different than he is and I really like you, and I-â
âDamnit Kyle just shut up!â I shout, which finally gets his attention. âI like you too okay? Now stop being such a baby about thisâ I say
âWait-you-you feel the same?â he asks, to which I nod.
âI thought it was obvious-â I canât finish my sentence before he throws himself onto me, kissing me. Iâve read somewhere that the first kiss feels like fireworks, but this seem to feel better.Â
He doesnt stop, even when we both need air, he pulls back and goes right back into kissing me, shifting until heâs hovering over me on my bed. When he finally pulls away, weâre both panting, red in the cheeks.Â
âDoes this mean youâll be my girlfriend?â Kyle asks, before lying next to me.Â
âThat depends, if youâre willing to put up with Ericâ
âFor you? Anythingâ

A Bandaid For Your Bullet Hole - (Chp. 2/?)
Read Below or on AO3/FF
TW: Mentions of overdose
August 2009
âMom, Iâve got all my stuff in the caâŠ.â Chloeâs sentence is swallowed back up into the atmosphere when she walks back into the living room, âyouâve got to be kidding me.â
Chloeâs mom is sitting in the middle of the sofa, her arms wrapped tightly around a scruffy looking man in a mechanics uniform. Thereâs a few half empty bottles of booze on the coffee table and a lit joint between her motherâs fingers. She laughs airily at some dumb remark the stranger practically underneath her makes. Sheâs as high as a kite and probably drunk to boot.
âChloe!â her momâs eyes light up at the sight of her only daughter, âcome have a drink baby.â
The only good thing about her mom getting high instead of drunk is that she is much happier. Her mom is an angry drunk, she turns into someone that Chloe scarcely recognizes. At least when sheâs high she somewhat resembles someone Chloe used to know.
âWhat happened to taking me to college today?â she snaps, completely ignoring her motherâs request.
âThat was today?â she asks dumbly, bringing her glass tumbler to her lips, taking a long sip of dark amber liquid.
Chloe groans frustratedly, âWeâve been talking about it for weeks.â
âCalm down princess, we can still do it,â sheâs got to be kidding, sheâs not going to let her mom drive anywhere like this.
Chloe shakes her head vigorously, âNo. Itâs fine, Iâll just stuff everything into my car and do it myself. You clearly have more important things to do.â
Her words must permeated through her momâs hazy brain because sheâs jumping up from the sofa, some of her drink sloshing out of her glass and onto the cream colored carpet, âNo, Chloe let me do this. I want to do this.â
âIâm not taking you anywhere like this,â Chloe motions up and down her motherâs body, âyou would just be an embarrassment.â
Her expression almost looks hurt before it turns bitter, âIf thatâs how you feel about me, then fine do it all on your own. See if I care.â
Chloe turns around without another word. She mindlessly shoves all her belongings into her little chevy impala, barely getting in everything she needs. She doesnât even bother to go inside to say goodbye before driving down the road. Itâs time for a new beginning, a new life, one she doesnât have to hate. She has a good feeling about Barden, hopefully her gut is right.

December 2012
The winter air is crisp, sending a shiver down Chloeâs spine as her and Beca walk towards her dorm. They just left Bellas rehearsal and the air almost feels good after all the exercise.
âSo, what are you doing for winter break?â Beca breaks the comfortable silence, shoving her hands deep into the pockets of her coat.
Chloe shrugs, âIâll probably stay on campus, I might go visit my brother, if heâs going to be around.â
Beca looks at her dumbly for a moment before composing herself again, âYou arenât going home for Christmas?â
Her and Beca have gotten really close this semester, Chloe might even dare to say sheâs her best friendâŠif she didnât have a heart stopping crush on the younger girl that is. Even so, sheâs not sure if she wants to unpack her reasoning for never going home yet.
âNope,â she answers the question simply, hoping Beca will just take the answer and let the topic drop.
She knew she wasnât going to be that lucky, because Beca doesnât care about anyoneâŠanyone but her it seems. Chloe is the only person Beca goes the extra mile for, at least from Chloeâs point of view, thatâs how it seems.
âWhy?â the question barely surprises her as it come out of Becaâs mouth, her breath leaving a puff of white in the air.
âItâs a long story,â Chloe tries her best to deflect, but she knows Beca wonât give it up.
Maybe opening up to someone else would feel good. Maybe to weight of her problems would feel a little lighter.
âIâve got time, we can go get coffee?â Beca looks at her hopefully, âMy treat?â
âI thought you were having a movie night with Jesse,â Beca had been talking about it all week, the excitement of a new relationship and all.
Thatâs another thing that has been making Chloe feel even worse than she does at this time of the year. She had a bad feeling Beca would end up with himâŠshe had a bad feeling she was straight. Chloe loves their friendship, but it just makes everything that much more painful.
âYou were literally coming to my dorm to hang anyways, thatâs not until later,â Beca laughs.
Chloeâs cheeks burn red, âOh yea, sorry, blonde moment I guess?â
âYouâre not even blonde, you donât get to use that one.â
Chloe gives Beca a playful shove, âShut up.â
After another five minutes of walking, they finally end up at the coffee shop. Before Chloe knows it, thereâs a steaming hot cup in her hands and Beca looking across the table at her expectantly.
âSo now, why donât you go home for Christmas?â Beca parrots the question from earlier, making Chloe squirm uncomfortably in her seat.
âSo, I guess it all really started when my dad died,â Chloe twirls the paper cup in her hands, attempting to channel her nerves into something else.
Beca nods, encouraging her on.
âMy mom kind of self-imploded after his deathâŠit started with drinking. It just spiraled from there, drugs, lots of sex with random men. It made all four years of high school miserable for me,â Chloe can feel tears threating to spill, she never talks about this, âafter my first Christmas back home in college I vowed to never go back until she got her shit together.â
A hand reaches across the table to settle over her own. Chloe looks up into Becaâs eyes, which are sad and empathetic. It makes her feel comfortable, grounded, Becaâs hand against her own. Her fingers twitch underneath the touch, she never wants to break the contact.
âIâm so sorry Chloe,â Beca says softly, âthat must be really hardâŠso I take it sheâs still pretty bad?â
Chloe nods slowly, âUh yea, Iâve tried to get her to go to rehab but she wonât listen, Iâm worried she never will.â
âI know this is nothing compared to what you dealt with,â Beca looks vulnerable as she speaks, âbut high school was really rough for me too. My parents got a divorce and my dad married my now step monster. I felt so betrayed, I felt like nothing would ever be right again. I felt like my dad was giving up on me.â
âIâm glad you shared that,â Chloe turns her hand so itâs holding Becaâs instead of lying limply below hers, âIâm glad Iâm not the only one with a shitty story.â
âI mean you definitely win if weâre comparing, but yea, it was nothing to write home about,â Beca smirks.
Beca finally pulls her hand away and Chloe instantly misses her touch. She quickly moves her hand back to her cup, lifting it to her mouth, not wanting Beca to know how much the little contact affected her.
âDo you want to come home with me for Christmas?â Beca asks after a few moments of silence.
The question practically makes Chloe choke on her latte, âI couldnât do that Bec. Your family doesnât even know me.â
âThey know of you,â Beca replies nonchalantly, âplus they would love you.â
âSo, youâve talked about me to your family?â Chloe quirks an eyebrow.
Itâs Becaâs turn for her cheeks to fade into a light shade of red, âThey were asking if I made any friendsâŠso I told them about you.â
âDonât be embarrassed Beca, I love that youâve told them about me. If I talked to my mom, she would know about you, because youâre one of the best things about this semester,â Chloe says honestly, hoping the blunt truth doesnât weird the other girl out.
A smile the size of Texas spreads across Becaâs face. She doesnât seem sure how to respond, but Chloe knows she probably feels similarly if her expression is to judge.
âShouldnât you be asking Jesse to go home with you for Christmas instead of me?â Chloe suddenly remembers Becaâs boyfriend.
Beca shakes her head no, âHe has his own family to go home to, plus Iâve only been dating him for a month. Iâd much rather have you come with meâŠespecially because I want to save you from having to be here for three weeks.â
âIâll think about it,â Chloe finally answers Becaâs offer.
Sheâs going to have to think hard about it, the last time she went home with someone for ChristmasâŠwell letâs just say itâs not a fond memory. It was an almost eerily similar situation. She had known Aubrey for one semester and after the blonde found out about her mom, she had invited her home for Christmas. She also needs to remind herself that it was a very different situation all together.
************
December 2009
Thereâs no hiding the fact that Chloe is scared to go home for Christmas. Sheâs scared about what sheâs going to find. Itâs the first time her mom has been alone for that long. Chloe watched out for her more than a teenage daughter should.
She also left on bad terms in the fall.
She could walk into anything really, which is terrifying. Which is why the whole drive back to South Carolina, Chloe is practically shaking with nerves. She probably shouldnât have loaded up on coffee like she did, the caffeine isnât helping. Aubrey has called her on and off, offering her supportâŠand the reminder that she can go to Aubreyâs house if itâs too bad. Chloe was determined to make this work though; she didnât want to run away on her mom completely. Chloe is not a quitter.
About an hour later she finally pulls into the driveway of her momâs house, the windows are dark even thought the sun set hours ago. Thatâs already not a good sign. Chloe puts the car into park and takes a deep shaky breath. She gets out of the car after a few moments of composing herself.
She slings her bag over her shoulder and walks up the path to the front door, her hand shakes as she lifts the key to the lock. Chloe pushes the door open slowly, she can hear the TV blaring some infomercial for air tight containers. Itâs the only light illuminating the living room. As Choe steps further in the door, she can see her momâs identical mop of red hair flowing over the arm of the sofa, her hand hanging limply down onto the floor. She canât make out much else with how dark the room is, the blue-ish light of the TV making everything look a little eerie.
An ice-cold feeling courses through her, her heart rate picking up. Something isnât right, she can just feel it. Chloe throws her bag down onto the floor and rushes over to the sofa. It barely looks like her chest is moving up and down, her lips look a little blue. Out of the corner of her eye she sees a baggy of pills on the coffee table. Shit. This canât be happening.
âMom,â Chloe says firmly, âMom!â
Nothing.
Chloe kneels down next to her and shakes her vigorously, âMOM.â
Her hands shake as she pulls her phone from the back pocket of her jeans. Her fingers can barely hold still as she dials 911.
The operator is calm and comforting. She walks Chloe through checking to see if her momâs heart is still beating. She feels like sheâs floating through some nightmare as she rips her momâs shirt open and starts chest compressions. She has no clue how long she hammers into her momâs chest before the door busts open and the paramedics are pushing her out of the way. Her vision blurs as she finally lets herself cry.
Sheâs not quite sure how she gets to the hospital. The world finally comes back into focus when a nurse carefully approaches her and asks if thereâs anyone that she can call for her.
âUm, my best friend, Aubrey,â her voice sounds foreign to her.
************
When Chloeâs mom finally is stable and back at home, Chloe leaves to go back home with Aubrey. Before she leaves, it isnât pretty, her and her mom scream and fight, but there is no way sheâs ever going to come back home to that again. Chloe gives her a final ultimatum: Go and get some help or Iâm done here.
Christmas is miserable, even though Aubreyâs family is warm, inviting and sympathetic. They make her feel like sheâs family. Even so, Chloe has never felt more alone. She feels like she has nowhere to go. She has no one to bake her cookies to take back to her dorm or give her a hug that feels like home when she needs it or give her boy (or girl?) advice. Sheâs all alone and itâs something sheâs going to have to get used to.
************
December 2012
âIâll go home with you,â Chloe offhandedly mentions to Beca as they sit on the bed in Chloeâs room at the Bella house.
Becaâs eyes light up and the chips she was munching on practically fall out of her mouth, âReally?â
Chloe nods, after thinking about it, the idea of having people to spend Christmas with would be really nice. Itâs something she hasnât experienced since Christmas her freshman year.
âI would love to,â Chloe smiles happily at the younger girl next to her.
âThatâs awesome!â Beca exclaims, âOh shit, Iâve got to book the flight like now then.â
âYou havenât done that already?â Chloe looks at her quizzically.
Beca shrugs, âI was waiting to see if you would want to come first.â
âYou could have missed out on getting tickets Bec, you shouldnât have.â
âI know, itâs ok though, I wanted to,â Beca looks down at her phone, which has flight listings to Seattle already displayed, âget your snow boots ready Beale, itâs been chilly out there this year.â
âYou know, Iâve only seen snow a couple times in my whole life,â Chloe already feels excited thinking about seeing the fluffy, white precipitation.
Becaâs eyes bug out, âDude, we are so going sledding.â
For the first time in years, Chloe is starting to feel excited about this time of year. This might be the best Christmas sheâs had in a long timeâŠ

not to like, put a smutty turn on the pureness of the carnival blurb, but this idea has been rattling around in my head since i went to the zoo last week: bill & tiger would most certainly try to fuck in the photobooth. maybe itâs pretty late, no ones in this little hidden area of the park, and they just canât help themselves. tiger draws the curtain shut and they go to TOWN in that tiny ass booth.
God but like, what if itâs kind of a re-creation of that one time they tried to join the mile high club? Bill is just like...he just doesnât FIT. But my god he tries. Except unlike the plane incident--mmm, oh god wait for it-what if this photobooth thing was tigerâs idea?
Because letâs face it, sheâs had a great day. Her Big Dude is all relaxed, because they are literally in some small ass town in the middle of the deep south and guaranteed thereâs not a single person there who knows who the fuck Bill is. And he loves it when that happens, when he can just sort of be a normal human being. Anybody who is gawking at him is really only gawking at him because of his height, and Bill has dealt with fame and with...uh, tallness his entire life so he knows how to differentiate the double-takes he gets.
But alright, her Big Dude is all relaxed and having a great time. And every time she turns around, heâs shoving some new food thing at her--corn dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, candy apples. And one way to get tiger all happy and complacent is to definitely just like, keep feeding her.
But then they wander over to the animal part of the fair and sheâs just watching him kneeling down, petting all the little baby goats. Heâs cooing at the horses and telling them how beautiful they are while some baby goat is head butting his leg, and tiger is just turning to mush. Good Dude Bill is just so gentle with all creatures.
And sheâs already feeling warm and fuzzy, but then it really drives it home when they started going on some rides--and her height kink button is just slammed. Seeing Bill, all spindly legs as he tries to fold himself into the cart of a roller coaster. He bends practically in half, his knees at his chin, as he looks at her sheepishly. Tiger starts feeling a mighty need. But then the poor dude probably gets stuck as he tries to get out, because he had to pull a rather crafty gymnastics move to get the bar over his knees and onto his lap and heâs just completely unable to reverse that process. Then he has to duck the entire time that theyâre in the house of mirrors--and oh god, oh god, you know what that idiot does? he sees a few teenagers go in after them, and Bill--Bill, ever the pain in the ass older brother--lets go a real loud Pennywise laugh, right when theyâre smack in the middle of the maze and they have no idea which way is out anymore. Screams can be heard from all angles, and the loudest one came from tiger.
In any case, listen, by the time itâs dusk out, tiger is having a bit of a uh...problem. She needs him. Right now. Right the fuck now, because she canât wait. She spots the photo booth and yanks him over to it by the collar, as he tries to keep up.
âEasy kid,â he laughs, âWhereâs the fi--â
But then heâs shoved in, and tiger barrels after him. She yanks the curtain shut behind her and slams his back to the wall, pulling him down so she can crush her lips to his.
But like--half of Billâs leg is out. One arm is braced on the wall in front of him, the other one he tries to wrap around her but that one ends up outside too.
âTiger,â he tries to mumble against her lips but sheâs just not stopping, âI donât fit.â
But like, thatâs really the wrong thing to say when sheâs all worked up because of his height.
âOh god,â she moans, and itâs loud. She pushes even more into him, trying to get his shirt off except he canât even raise his arms high enough for her to get it off. She gives up, moving to his belt and yanking it free--but the whole time Bill is just trying to kind of grab her hands, tell her that they canât do this here, except good ole Gumby is stuck in 800 different ways and he canât move.
But when she drops to her knees, he manages to free his arms enough to catch her and stand her right back up. She whines, but he clamps a hand over her mouth.
âNo way kid,â he says frantically, and he motions behind him, âThat curtain is nowhere near long enough to hide any of this. We canât do this here.â
She whines again, gives him a desperate look and it just sends a jolt right to his groin. She looks so sad, and sheâs just clutching at him wherever she can reach.
âBut I want it,â she mumbles behind his hand, âPlease Billy, I need it.â
She gently grabs a handful of him and his hips involuntarily thrust into her palm; he closes his eyes and lets out a soft curse.Â
âThe car,â he said, âLetâs make it to the car.â
