You know, it's a tragedy that there are no (or very little) Vampire x Christian stories out there, not for angst or theology or forbidden seductiveness or whatnot but for the sheer comedy of it all. I mean, the Christian would technically be immune to all of the vampire's shenanigans, like for example...

Seeing people only use "but some asexuals have sex!!!" and "some aromantics are in romantic relationships!!!" so they can sexualize & ship the little representation we get makes me hope someone explicitly establishes a popular character as sex-repulsed so we can see the shippers get cooked online for it

Big fan of how Farcille as a ship is undercut by Marcille's issues with aging/death and her own elven biases and Falin's issues with undercutting her own autonomy to mask and the challenges faced by trying to break away from that mindset. Especially how these two facets of these characters ultimately serve as a blockage for the development of a legitimate romantic relationship. It's an interesting development in a ship that by-and-by is pretty vanilla all things considered (dark magic aside). The fact that Ryoko Kui portays that level of complexity in this relationship not only highlights her mastery of character development and worldbuilding but also is a great example of how something "vanilla" can be made complex or interesting if done in a way that is interesting.

i cannot lie i do sometimes wonder why the wwdits writers backpedalled on nandermo SO HARD after s3 and i dont mean that as a complaint more as genuine curiosity. like. it's not about them being gay because everyone on the show is queer (+ guillermo's sexuality specifically gets portrayed in a really genuine way). it's not about it being a romance bc there's another couple in the main cast. it's not about their weird power dynamic because that is the entire appeal of their relationship platonic or not. it's not about changing the status quo of the show bc colin robinson turned into a baby. so why on earth did they write doll nadja x colin robinson but not nandor x guillermo
