I have a headcanon that norway is actually really good at speaking (eu) spanish as spanish is the most popular language norwegians choose to learn in high school (with german being the next most popular, he's probably fluent in that too lmao) what am saying is; norway could probably hold a conversation with Spain without any problem🇪🇸🗣️
(also let's be real, norway would probably need to speak/understand spanish as spain is his hollyday paradise😂)
Come on, you don't need to know Spanish to go on holiday there?? We know there's only one phrase you'd need to know how to say when in Spain 😎 /j

for some strange reason i agreed to take my neice into the city this afternoon, a hot summer's day, and had totally forgotten that you cannot swing a kitten there for different tourist groups and that photos of times square look in general less busy than it does in late july at the centre of town.

weird how fiji is such a popular and famous tourist destination but other nearby pacific islander countries like tonga and samoa are basically unknown to american tourists and dont seem to have any particular tourist economy (like there's some but afaik tonga is a fishing-based economy primarily) like what originally started that..... was it just bcuz fiji is a slightly bigger country/island in terms of landmass or was it just cheaper to travel to. this is the stuff i stay awake at night thinking about btw
